Okay, before I start- i know that hazbin hotel has a lot of good ass songs, and I want to make own little custom songs but I cant write songs for shit however I can write poetry (not well but I'm trying) so instead of writing songs for you, I'll write shitty poetry that does not rhyme. Also sorry if my depictions of love aren't good- i have literally never been in love before, and if the ending is rushed, I'm not used to writing so much in one setting

There once was an Cherubim angel,

so gentle and kind,

perched upon a cloud

You sat on a cloud, smiling to yourself as you watched over all the different angels talk to each other about their duties- heaven was perfect, no- no not just perfect, heaven was a utopia. No angel can do any wrong, it is only virtue that existed upon these clouds and you were among these creatures of purity, you were one of god's creations just as all the other's were.

The clouds around you were soft, almost as if they were made of the soft silk your robes were made of, they were formed to bring comfort to any angel that came in contact with them and while all angels were already joyful, the clouds merely helped them stary from sinful thoughts.

She waited for another angel,

a Seraphim named Lucifer,

a friend, so close to her

You wondered though, were was lucifer? He was always about yet you didn't have any idea on where or how to find him. In all honesty, you found Lucifer to be amazing- his ideas, imagination, creativity bought stars to your eyes (figuratively, you had no iris or pupil- your eyes, more specifically your sclera, were a soft yellow colour with white swirls decorating them), to you his words were so brilliant, other angels couldn't even begin to speak or think the way he does.

He always came up with new ideas, new creations him, you and the other angels can create- can look after and love. You couldn't help but indulge in his chats with you- adding onto his ideas in anyway you can and while you personally thought your ideas weren't as amazing as his, to Lucifer your ideas were flawless- he always said that.

Lucifer was brilliant, he truly was- you could never understand why the other angels despised his thoughts so much.

Perhaps, the cherubim was in love,

perhaps she enjoyed Lucifer's company

much more beyond just meer friendship.

Okay, you needed to slow down- you were always thinking how great he was, maybe you didn't just like him as a friend... just maybe you liked him a bit more. Though, that way of thinking should stop soon- after all you have angelic duties to do! there is no way you can just abandon them just because you adored Lucifer....'s ideas.

You took a breath and got on your feet, spreading your wings (you had four wings, two on each side) so you could take off and start your work, however when you were jus about to begin to fly a figure rushed to you- wrapping their arms around your torso.

The seraphim appeared,

all smiles and glee

he held his friend closely

with tender, with care

Lucifer came out of no where, though his presence was welcomed warmly by you : who held him back just as tight. " Luci! " you grinned letting go of him, he had gotten there just in time- it was almost like he knew you were about to fly off, " [name]! Ha ha! how are you? " he asked holding both of your hands- a dorky smile engraved onto his face " Where have you been? I was worried " that was half-true, there was no evil (what even was evil? you didn't know, it doesn't exist not yet ) but there was a high chance that Sera was telling him off again.

" How sweet, but don't worry I'm alright cherub " he brought your hands closer to him- something that grin he held could only grow as the seconds passed by, seeming like he wanted to say something " Luci- I know that look in your eye, you've being creating again! Tell me everything ", your own smile began to grow as you squeezed his hand.

" You know me too well! Okay, so i was thinking of trying to make [ creature ], sounds cool right? well guess what else! " and with that he began to ramble about his ideas once more, with you chirping in some of your own ideas which made Lucifer sound even happier.

The two angels were at peace,

within the company of each other-

did they love each other?

would they dare say it?

You flew around with Lucifer, laughing together while yelling out some nonsense that seemed to only make sense to you and him- just you and him. Though your fun was quick to end when the two of you reached the tallest cloud in all of heaven and the two of you- both out of breath- fell onto it. " That was fun! " you chuckled, still trying to catch your breath " yeah! I loved that " was the reply, then silence fell upon the two of you. Though it wasnt awkward silence, it never was when it came to [name] and Lucifer- it was comforting and peaceful.

Though this silence was broken quickly by you. Over the last few weeks, months you were coming to understand your feelings towards the seraphim, and while you could easily deny them- to avoid them and focus of everything but that but you just couldn't, you sucked with feelings especially hiding them! and plus, how could you live if you didn't tell Luci how you felt " Luci... I " love you, those words were suddenly lodged in your throat and you couldn't let them be said- be heard why did that happen, you were sure you could say them- hell you said them before to people who you see as family!, "sorry what i meant was I- " loved you for so long now, I love you and I don't think I can ever stop loving you " loved that too- it was so fun! "

She couldn't say it,

she was too scared to tell her dear Lucifer

of her true feelings... though did he feel the same?

What was wrong with you? You couldnt say it, why? You loved Lucifer- there you admitted it in your mind but you just cant say it to him. You sighed and stared at your mirror- looking over your face, your long hair (angels all had long hair, it was one of the things that they always cared for and almost showed off)

Of course he did,

how could he not?

he loved her more than anything

she listen to his ideas, she added onto them

she never hated them, never judged.

but then, the high order formed the earth-

Adam and Lilith.

" [name? " Lucifer walked over to you, a smile on his face- though he always smiled, this smile seemed different in a way but you couldn't place your finger on it however that did not stop you from returning his smile " Luci! hey! " you grinned as he stopped just in front of you " [name]? do you know the two humans? " " Adam and Lilith? " " yes! Me and Lilith... are in love!"

he.. he loved the human Lilith? The one who ran from Adam (you heard of this from Sera, and while you acted disappointed you agreed with Lilith's decision of leaving Adam, you would have too), he found her and fell for her? .. how? she hasn't even existed for that long! How could you possibly fall that quick? it was impossible right?

It took you a few seconds to compose yourself so you can smile for Lucifer, though it didnt feel right " That's... brilliant Luci! I'm so happy you found love- how does it feel like? " and with that question you bared the suffering of listening to Lucifer, the one you loved, gush about Lilith, and you were almost envious of Lilith- almost hated her, you never met her and now dear god you probably don't ever want to. You had lost your Lucifer to her, though... you suppose he was never yours.

and with that,

those confessions of requited love

would forever be sealed away,

locked behind their grinning lips

though the perish of love was not their only problem.

Lucifer went too far,

he created evil through the second bride,

she bit the apple, she took the fall

and Lucifer and his love was to blame

though you would not let him be punished alone.

You too were part of this.

" No! " You screamed as you ran to the shaking Lucifer's side, almost trying to shield him from the anger of the higher order of angels. " Leave him be! He has done nothing wrong! " you defended him, still caring over your friend. Nevertheless, the angels did not listen to your words in the way you intended- they saw this as a further act of aggression from you as you also had a part to play in coursing dear Eve into biting the apple from the tree of knowledge of good or evil, you lead her to the tree, plucked the apple with Lucifer in tow and let her bite it. Now you and Lucifer were being punished, Lucifer getting the harsher side of it.

The angel was thrown to the depths,

to a world name named Hell,

where the only side of humans Lucifer was granted to see,

was the side he created.

You were also punished to fall,

Mercedes-AMG F1 paddock. Y/n has just arrived at the track for her first day of work. The atmosphere is energized, with cars, mechanics, and drivers running in every direction. Toto, as always, has a tight schedule, but makes sure he's there to welcome Y/n in a unique way.

He smiles as he sees you approaching, his face lighting up with a genuine smile and an energy he can't hide. ''Y/n! It's so good to finally see you here. We've been waiting so eagerly for you. This is the place where it all happens, and now we have you with us.''

You can't help but smile, a little surprised by the warmth with which you're welcomed, looking at the hustle and bustle around you, but at the same time, feeling the excitement in the air.

''Thanks, Toto. This is all a bit overwhelming, but the good thing is that I'm here now. I've been waiting for this moment.''

It's something you cant let go but Toto Wolff: speaking with more enthusiasm than usual, almost like a child waiting for the arrival of something that excites him greatly, although he hides it behind a professional facade.

''And so do we! You have to see the atmosphere here; it's like a big family. Every day is a new adventure, a new opportunity. You're going to love it!'' He explains looking around and then addresses a group of people waiting to give instructions to the pilots. ''Let's see, this is the team you'll be working most closely with. But first, let me show you your space. We've prepared everything for you, thinking of every detail.''

Y/n follows Toto, noticing the sparkle in his eyes, a different energy than the other team members. She can't help but smile inwardly at how enthusiastic he seems, like a child waiting for a gift, something she'd never noticed in him before. But, of course, you don't mention it, just watch and listen intently.

''Thanks, Toto. I'm excited. This is all really impressive. I've never been so close to the action.

He pauses and turns to you, almost as if he can't contain his excitement. ''It's something unique. Every race, every minute here is special, but having you with us, I know it's going to be an incredible change for the whole team. I'm convinced you're going to make a difference.''

Y/n nods, sensing Toto's slight discomfort, as if he were trying to contain something he couldn't betray. His eyes sparkle, his energy palpable. You, with a calm smile, decide not to comment on it, knowing that the moment is more about the welcome and the work ahead. ''I'm going to give it my all, Toto. I promise you that. I want to be part of this team and contribute as much as I can.''

''I can see you will. I can't wait to start working with you... This is all going to be… great.''

Later, in the space they've prepared for you. The team has set up a corner where you can work and support the drivers. The atmosphere is filled with thoughtful details to make you feel welcome. Toto is nearby, making sure everything is perfect, his smile wide and his attitude like that of a child finally welcoming a special member of the family.

Seeing Y/n begin to settle into the space, with a slight excitement in his voice, though he tried not to show it too much.

''So this is your place. You have everything you need here. If you need anything, you know I'm just a phone call or a message away. And don't hesitate to ask me anything. Everything is at your disposal.''

You look around with a mixture of surprise and gratitude, feeling how carefully your place has been prepared for your arrival. Everything is designed to make you feel comfortable and part of the team. Still, you can't help but notice the sparkle in Toto's eyes, that enthusiasm he can't quite hide. Y/n takes it in stride and, with a smile, replies:

''Thank you, Toto. Really. This motivates me even more. I'm ready to get started!''

Moon, I've come back. Have you noticed how the wings in Sunday's suit are significantly darker in comparison to the wings on his neck or just his hair colour in general? Turning into a dark and deep purple?

Now, this MIGHT be a stretch, but the angel who has purple wings is Archangel Zadkiel, who is the angel of mercy. The angel colour purple means mercy and transformation. It tells you that you should be gentle with yourself as your journey shifts and changes. Does this mean that his own body is trying to tell himself that he should stop his self-destructive tendencies and to stop shouldering such a big burden? But he can't, and won't listen. He's too far gone, and the thought of giving up his goal, his ideals, his desire, is far worse than being a selfish man. However, doesn't that also make him selfish?

Outside of religious references, though, the colour purple, especially those of darker shades, represents sadness and frustration. I can only imagine the feeling of utter disappointment and frustration within Sunday after failing at the one thing he wanted to succeed in the most.

Theres many theories out there that suggest he's a fallen angel. There's also the fact that his wings are literally purple. Anyways,,,

Him being related to the color purple and his wings also, meaning mercy and transformation fit so well eith his character. His "mercy" is one where he imagines an ordered utopia and a life long perfect dream for everyone who struggles with the grapples of reality. His transformation is one where he comes to accept his philosophies are pessimistic and neither as ideal as robin's romantic perspective. But in a way, his mercy is tainted. He doesnt extend this to himself, and how benevolent is a mercy that is conditional?

And the suggestion that his body may be taking the brunt of his self-destruction thereby influencing the color of his wings.. his mind is restless but so is his body.. the body keeps the score indeed.

I feel like this is also loosely able to prove the prediction he may join the stellaron hunters,,, taking a complete transformation as compared to his strict, orderly countenance in regards to his position as the Head of the Oak family.. oh wow.

Also, side note, stellaron hunter!Sunday would be terrifying. I imagine he still tries maintaining a pristine condition and generally grooms himself well, but the image of his white clothing having splatters of blood as he returns from his scripted mission.. WOW...

Long POSITIVE rant/analysis about Veilgards plot regarding Solas for me and anyone else bummed out by everyone saying the writing is bad!

SPOILERS

All that I wanted going into this game was to get to know solas as the dread wolf and get my big solavellan moment. The game delivered. This game is very much, by design, the dread wolf’s where inquisition is solas’. In inquisition he is hiding and allowed to be himself as a result, by the end of it you don't change his mind, but you make it so he no longer wants to tear down the veil, not on a personal level. Solas is sensitive, kind and wise. The dread wolf is cut throat, pragmatic and prideful. To save him you need to tap into the person from inquisition, not the god from veilgard.

The thing about solas’ mission is that on a pragmatic level he is right. Rip off the bandaid of these short mortal lives and generate a utopia of immortals. That's why pragmatism doesn’t save him. He needs to accept that on an emotional level, as a person, he doesn’t want to destroy this world, he doesn’t want to fight anymore, and he can never truly make his sacrifices mean something, he can never make any of it worth it because it will never feel worth it to him. He needs to choose to stop as a person not a god of rebellion or spirit of wisdom. Because no matter how much he didnt want to be a god, he acted like one and he can never be at peace while doing so. And no matter how much he wishes he was still a spirit, he’s not. Veilgard at the end of the day was about accepting that you will make choices you will regret, there will be uncomfortable consequences to your actions and there won't always be meaning in those consequences. You can choose to punish yourself forever (solas) or accept the uncomfortable truth that you can't punish yourself into peace and forgive yourself (rook).

The reason why one of you companions must die is so that you cannot be placed above solas. This is also why you must pick minrathous or treviso. You must walk a path like his, fight the war he fought and make the sacrifices he made. You cannot defeat solas or change him on the pretense of being better than him, of not being willing to make sacrifices like him, You MUST make sacrifices, You must put people who follow you into situations where you know they might die and when, not if, they do, you must live with the regret that comes with it.

Solas knew that eventually someone would die under your command and he waited for that moment because you would be faced with the same kind of regret as him and then you would be able to take his place. You don't get to act like you are better than him because you never abandoned anyone, you don't get to act like you are better than him because you never ordered someone to their likely demise. Because you did. You cant get solas to stop by making the claim that he is wrong and you are right, because he isn't. You’re the same. Rook is a foil to solas

The dinanshiral for him is continuing to walk the path that only makes him hate himself more. that he doesn’t feel good about or want to do. He wants to stop but he can no longer see the line between his pride and wisdom. He wants to keep walking it because he can't let go of the fight and accept that this is what all his sacrifices will amount to. He knows he will only hate himself more at the end of the journey but he thinks he deserves to feel all that guilt and shame if it means bringing about the utopia he imagines. He sees the regret and pain of making this ideal world as a burden only he can bear and therefore has a responsibility to take on. He fails if he doesn’t he is selfish if he doesn’t because the sacrifices hes made and the elves of now (in his eyes deluded by idealism) deserve the world he is trying to create

It’s not that solas can't accept he did bad things. He’s great at that actually. He can't accept that he did bad things and those things might never matter. He took risks and lost and there is no reward that can make him feel like it was worth it, but he's trying to make it feel worth it by continuing his plans. He cant accept that he acted like a god, created this deeply flawed world, and cant fix it. He sees himself as the only one who can save his people and cant accept the reality that he failed at preserving one thing he always wanted to preserve. After millennia of fighting and sacrificing for it, how does he just stop? Just because he wants to? That’s selfish. He can take the pain, he deserves it even. So why not keep going? He has to do it, someone else might get it wrong (haha).

Rook is freed because they listen to the people who love them, accept forgiveness from those they hurt, and the reality of their guilt. But choose not to hate themselves anyways.

You show him it's okay to stop. He's not failing. You make him accept his pain and his mistake. You mythal and the inquisitor give him the permission to end, to be forgiven so he can finally give himself the release from that ancient duty. The acceptance of the grim reality he wrought as real and permanent and he doesn’t need to honor those sacrifices because doing so will still never change the reality of how they make him feel. He finally gets to live as a hurt and flawed man, not a savior with the weight of the world on his shoulders. I think thats a beautiful and perfect ending for him, and the whole plot of veilgard is to build rook up into this dichotomy with him.

Solas pretty much says he made you into him, but he didn’t anticipate you’d be able to forgive yourself. Because forgiveness is something he cant imagine granting himself until the end, when he is met with genuine compassion and understanding by those he hurt.

Reasons why Krakoa was never going to work

1. The quiet council, good bloody lord what were they thinking having sinister, shaw, mystique, exodus in powers of positions

For being adamant on not being like man/human they immediately put creed in krakoan prison right after saying theres no prisons on th island… like okay.. when you man decided to have the entire of mutantdom on one island after Genosha, San Francisco, Madripoor, Utopia, the bloody morlock tunnels.. no one thought of a way to deal with the more villlanous mutants you know other than putting them in positins of power

3. At this point Charles Xavier has made it abundantly clear he is not a good man. He has a good dream, its arguable he has good and true intentions but his actions dont always match that.. do I even need to explain Magneto

anyway dont get me wrong, as an immigrant, when i first moved to finland i fell into the trap of this complacent mentality. i thought, that because here was so much better than italy, i had no right to complain or that would mean i was ungrateful. but again, as an immigrant, i saw a lot of the awful awful awful sides of finland. waiting months and months for the way too busy immigration office, struggling with ridiculous paper work with no help. when i first moved here, i had to go through the impossible loop of not being able to apply for a flat till i had a job and a security number, but not being able to apply for a security number till i had a job and/or an address, and not being able to apply for a job without an address and a security number. luckily for me, my partner is finnish, and we applied for a flat in her name, so i got out of that loop, and im in university as an official finnish resident, and will apply for citizenship soon. as a white european immigrant who is married to a finnish person, i have it way easier than a lot of my immigrant friends i made at finnish language school. as a mentally ill student, i see the terrible issues in the healthcare system especially - it’s just. really bad. so bad, that i often get nostalgic of the italian system. and if you know, then you know how bad it gets 😭

i think it’s very dangerous to not criticise what is wrong in finland bc it’s worse in other places - that attitude is at the core of all the awful policies the current right-wing government is pushing. when people complain about cuts to welfare, healthcare, education and more, they often get dismissed as “it’s worse elsewhere”, meanwhile stuff goes to shit. as an education major (switching to archaeology after i get my master’s) i saw in real time the insane damages the cuts have caused to kindergartens and elementary schools. i wont get into detail bc i’d have to write an essay. most finnish men think that finland has reached gender equality and finnish women have no right to complain when “it’s worse elsewhere”, but that doesnt mean that finland has actually reached gender equality (it hasnt! bc no country in the world has! and yes it was nice to have sanna marin as pm, but you should have heard the misogynystic bullshit spouted everywhere about her here, there’s a reason why she abandoned politics). we have a rampant racism issue, it’s really, really, really bad. i think i remember a statistic that showed finland is like the one of the most racist countries in europe, and it shows. even i, a white european, was harassed in the street by a finnish man who heard me speak english, who yelled at me to get back to my country. until 2 years ago, finland was violating human rights by forcing trans people to get sterilised to change their gender marker. trans people protested for years. should they not have, as trans people elsewhere had it worse? bc thanks to their protesting for years and years, things changed. but with your logic, trans people here should still get sterilised without complaining as at least they can legally transition? and as someone who is currently going through gender therapy, i can tell u trans care is bad. my friend, a trans guy, has been unable to access gender care bc he has depression and he’s unemployed. he cant get neurodivergence diagnoses (adhd&autism, which he so clearly has) bc one (1) public doctor dismissed him years ago, and he’d need to spend hundreds of euros to get help privately (u only get a shot at one diagnosis in the public healthcare system now!). when he went for help for his depression, they told him the root cause is his dysphoria. which he cant ease bc he’s depressed, and as such banned from getting gender care. if he got a job, he’d lose his unemployment benefits and access to mental health services he’s using. and he’s disabled, and not getting any help. he’s literally stuck, and getting 0 help. finland is FULL of young people like this. who have no job, no money, mental health issues that get dismissed and go untreated, and many turn to substances. there’s a reason why finland is in the top 15 (or even 10 i don’t remember) for suicide rate. in finland, i often heard the joke that the reason we get voted as happiest country is bc everyone who is slightly unhappy here gets driven to suicide lol. so yeah, i think it’s worth complaining and fix the system because a lot of people are suffering here.

tgeres so much lore i couldnt even get it all to you coherently its kinda like kirby funny guy with a really REALLY fucked up story. i will try to explain it to you but no guarantee itll make sense the way i put some things . ill put it under a readmore because boy. theres. theres alot

so some background info on spark first of all, hes part of an alien species called formies who terraformed and migrated to the moon agter a crisis on their homeworld. they are VERY technologically advanced to the point that nanomachines are present in the air and can materialize their thoughts whenever they want, stuff like that. ANYWAYS, before the first game, spark had graduated college, gotten a job, lost that job to a robot, and started street performing. a circus owner hired him because of this, but only got a month in before being replaced by a robot THERE TOO! while spark was thinking about not being able to pay rent after that, he noticed a bunch of robots attacking people and attempting to take over the city and he was like. well thats not good. so he went out there and started destroying robots. then at the end of the f.m. city level, he meets the robot who took his job (who he later names fark), made to look like him. fark tells him to give up and go home, which makes spark REALLY angry, and he continues on now to get his job back

on the way he figures out the robot commanding all this is named freom, and he wants to rid the planet of life by destroying the ring that creates the planet's artificial atmosphere. spark fights a few more robots, notably seam and megagram, a mage robot named romalo takes him to a base. there he meets dr armstrong through video call. dr armstrong is the one who created modern ai, pioneering all of the robots fought in the game. he created freom to protect the megaraph computer which is where all ai comes from and most are connected to. he also reveals fark was created to destroy freom if things got out of hand, but wasnt able to find an opening

dr armstrong asks spark to defeat freom, which he accepts because theres a money reward. romalo teleports him to megaraph fleet. on the elevator here, spark and fark battle it out once and for all, which

when he gets to the top he faces freom who says he is building a utopia where robots and living beings live separately. spark calls it stupid and upsets freom, causing him to turn on the megaraph to destroy the ring. they fight semi for real, and then freom GRABS spark about to WIN, but fark throws the Super Staff to spark from outside the metaraph letting him escape freoms grasp and then super spark and freom go battle in space and spark shoots him with a giant laser beam from his finger and thats the end of spark 1. he gets a blank check and uses it to go on vacation so hes not present in the second game at ALL

the second game stars fark, and i dont know much about its story so heres the basics. fark is repaired by dr armstrong, dr armstrong is captured so fark goes to look for him. robots flint, double, and float are hired by freom (not dead) to kill fark. fark finds out that he is actually freoms son (already crazy), fark kills freom once and for all (killed his dad) (transgender win)

SPARK 3 IS WHERE IT REALLY GETS CRAZY PLEASE PUT ON YOUR SEATBELT. after the events of spark 2, fark finds out about an ai known as clarity and establishes the fark force to neutralize her, shutting down internet, communications and wherever clarity could spread to. with dr armstrong, the force figures out clarity's plans, to assimilate every being into her world via scanning the brain and discarding the living body afterwards. now after all this establishing spark is back and very angry that the internet is down and he cant wait in line to get his paycheck. he just says fuck it and goes on an adventure to take down the fark force. in protest city he meets float. she says she has beef with the force too and wants to join spark in taking them down, which he accepts cuz she is simply insisting

theres a few backstory cutscenes, one reveals how freom and clarity were lovers, freom felt inferior to clarity as he couldnt experience reality like she could, so they created a child (fark), made by her and modeled after him. another is about float, a mysterious robot found by flint with dangerous powers, he gave her a new look and became her best friend before they were hired in the second game

they fight flint in mechs for some reason, which flint reminisces, asking float why she has to feel so real

after they open utopia shelter, and spark gets to fark which is in some fucked up white cyberspace area, he says that the force is over. spark is confused and asks what the catch is. fark snaps, the room is now a black void he explains to spark clarity's plans, and how the force failed to stop her. he reveals that float was not the real deal, but an agent of clarity, and that once spark brought her to the force's hq, it was over. everything was a simulation, spark reliving his greatest moments after being assimilated, for thousands of years. THOUSANDS OF YEARS fark waited to break the cycle. spark is having like a fucking panic attack over this and then it goes white again, and CLARITY HERSELF comes up. she says shes impressed that fark gained control over a part of her world. she says fark's biggest mistake was not killing spark, and this sends spark OVER THE EDGE. he gets SO ANGRY he goes demon mode or whatever this is

fark calms him down though, and explains that he had been able to siphon clarity's powers through a crack in the system. however, he couldnt have full access to them due to not being fully integrated, and he needed someone who WAS, and it was spark who could get them out of there. spark accepts, but clarity manifests behind him and takes hold of his body, turning him into the linework beast

this thing^ fark fights that and manages to get spark out. spark gains access to the system's information while unconscious and finds out the central system is and what it is, magna claritas centralis. if centralis is taken down, all clarity entities would desync and spark could take full control of the system. he relays this info to fark, and he asks what the plan is. sparks like haha take my hand and then he does and they um fucking

FUSE TOGETHER. to make sfarx. and then they beat up centralis. and then spark takes control of the system and basically becomes merged with it. and i am not sure i can articulate this last cutscene because it makes me so autistic i stop being able to speak properly so just watch it jsut fucking watch it. movie time. sorry its like 4 minutes long but its worth it i PROMISE its VIITAL no voice acting only text read some more please

You and Nami sat together in the tiny boat that was being dragged along by a vibrant king bull. The crew had figured it’d be best to wait to find a shipwright, wait to further discuss things with that man. What did the woman at the train station say was his name, again? Iceburg? Who cares, that wasn’t what was important right now. You were all told to have fun, to split up for a few hours before going to the bank. And that was the perfect time to give you and your girlfriend, Nami, private time.

The sound of laughter echoed out of your shared water carriage as you two traded words. You couldn’t recall the last time you two, or any of the crew could do something so mundane. To others, this must be incredibly boring, just riding around in the slow water roads of Water 7 but it was special to you and the crew. Having time to act like people over pirates for even just a few hours was glorious.

You loved being a pirate, but each time you docked on an island you couldn’t help but wonder how things could’ve been if you stayed back at your home village. Perhaps it could’ve been calm but you would’ve never been so happy, if not for your crew mates. Especially Nami. She was your utopia, your rock. She always was, ever since you met the crew. Even if Nami was a thief, and a rather vulgar woman, you couldn’t help but fall captive to her heart. She was so warm, so kind to the ones she loved. Nami was the woman for you and you knew that, even only after dating since she escaped the wretched clutches of the wicked man known as Arlong.

“Hey, Y/n!” Nami said, her tone high with the upmost happy tune. You looked over at her, raising your eyebrow.

“Mhm?” You hummed, looking at her face. Her normal smile soon twisted into a smug one as she fished one of her freckles hands into her pocket.

Part of you wanted to scold her for stealing from a purely innocent person. But then again, she was a pirate. You were a pirate, your whole existence and the message you stood for was criminal, now wasn’t it? You had no right to shout at Nami for stealing, especially for your sake.

The abrupt bubbling in your throat crushed all sense to ask Nami to kindly return it to the old woman who had passed you both. You began to laugh loudly, your laughter filling the small street you two were along. She was far too much..!

Nami looked over at you, a confused smile on her face. What was so funny? She leant back slightly against the tiny boat, her navy blue tie fluttering along with the force of the slight wind that waved along the city. She twirled the valuable accessory in between her fingers, looking over at you.

“Do you want it or not? I could get a few extra berries off of this if you don’t want it,” Nami shrugged, eyes twinkling at the thought of having pocket money, as the abundance she had now was all for Merry.

You wiped your eyes lightly, swiping the slight watering of your eyes away. “Oh, Nami,” You sighed to catch your own breath from laughing, your ribs aching. “I can’t wait to marry you! You’re too-“

Crap. Your face reflected the same bright pink that coloured the king bulls scales. How could you fail at catching yourself? This was awkward. Nami probably could never imagine such a thing. Sure, you two were dating but marriage was different. Far different when placed beside the playground of dating.

“Marry me? Y/n, you want to marry me?” Nami managed to keep her cool, not including the pastel hues that dusted her cheeks. How could she be so calm? You felt like leeping out of the boat, letting the oceans of Water 7 take you far away.

“W-well, yeah..one day, at least,” You admitted sheepishly, jerking your head to the side to avoid the look in Nami’s caramel shaded eyes. “Obviously, you don’t have to. I mean, when Luffy becomes pirate king, i just figured, we could settle down and...”

“And what?” Nami egged you on to finish your sentence. “Cmon, say it! We don’t have all day!” She huffed, stomping her heels down as she grew impatient.

“A-and have days like these everyday!” You said loudly to match her own tone. “We could do all sorts of things, we could go to places like this everyday, we could talk like this all day, we could-!”

Nami cut you off as she casually applied her lips to yours, no regards for the public. You kissed back slowly, even if the kiss only lasted seconds.

“Okay,” Nami beamed. “I’ll be your bride after Luffy becomes the pirate king.” She grinned as big as possible, eyes squeezed shut from the smile that stuck to her face. Nami’s cheeks were crimson at this point.

Nami couldn’t help but wonder if Bellemare was seeing this, seeing her agree to such a thing. Nami never thought she’d get such an opportunity in life, she always thought she’d be stuck as Arlong’s right hand for her entire life. But no. She’d never have to picture the horror of the old days, not anymore.

She had Luffy, Usopp, Robin... she had everyone she needed.

Hey!! The X-men are literally my favorite thing and I was wondering if you could elaborate on how Scott is a knight of doom

YES OF COURSE!!!! i'll put it under a cut since i tend to ramble a bit & i'm pulling a bunch of explanations from people smarter than i am

the knight weaponizes their aspect; they have an inherent understanding of their aspect that allows them to exploit it completely. doom is the aspect of systems, restrictions/limitations, sacrifices, and endings.

one of scott's core themes is reclaiming his restrictions in order to serve others/the greater good! he takes the possible liability that are his faulty powers and shifts them to become an advantage, largely through the strength of his restraint and discipline. his role as a tactician and the way he sees sacrifices (more on that later) also mesh EXTREMELY well with the knight of doom.

i feel like the Wh*don run (specifically astonishing x-men #22-23) really highlights how scott can turn a situation on its head through exploiting his disadvantages to the point where they become tactically advantageous!! like, let's count the ways:

the ship the x-men stole from kruun is obviously bugged, so his team won't be able to communicate without being overheard. he realizes this, and uses that restriction (being overheard) as an advantage, by falsifying their course of action.

he has been left "without his powers"—he presents a restriction that lowers the guard of his adversary and grants him entry to their home base. he then subverts this by exploding the shit out of everything when an opportune moment arrives

HE LITERALLY EXPLOITS DEATH...... HE EXPLOITS HIS OWN DEATH...................FOR THE GREATER GOOD..........DUDE???? someone get this man an advil

some more thoughts, followed by some examples by people smarter than me:

he exhibits a similar pattern of idolization/realization with xavier irt karkat/HICand dave/bro.... not sure if this by itself is a knight-y thing but i think the consistent disillusionment with their role in defending their aspect is interesting (aka knight burnout, more on that later)

he is def willing to sacrifice shit for the greater good of mutantkind. the shit in question sometimes being his closest friends and allies. the examples that stick out to me are how he allowed beast to get tortured (utopia era) while executing his plan to solve All His Problems At Once & also when he sent x-force to the future to defend hope knowing it was going to be a one-way trip

that entire issue revolving around just how GOOD scott is at self-repression😭😭😭 i'm pretty sure it's post-schism utopia era i don't remember the exact issue WAIT NVM i'm pretty sure it's uncanny #518

seeing phoenix!scott as an inversion to (rogue of) life is also an interesting concept (unchecked growth!)

the amount of responsibility he feels he has to take on (partially due to his idolization cycle w xavier/xavier's dream) is also both knight-y and doom-y

and of course the instinct to protect the people around him --> being expanded into the whole of mutantkind (which, in turn, expands his sense of obligation)

everything leading up to revolutionary cyclops is also very interesting through this framework because its reminiscent of the knights & doom players in hs! the "taking on an insane burden" (phoenix force, whatever whammied mituna) -> the "resignation to the fate handed to him by his aspect" (his stint in prison, dead daves, sollux in general) -> the "refusal to accept that fate" (prison break, dave not wanting to use time travel, sollux fucking off into the dreambubbles, karkat coming to terms w his relationship w leadership) --> experiencing knight burnout at the end of revolutionary era going into death of x

im not sure exactly how to put it into words but everything about his childhood/teenhood... like being surrounded by forces seeking to control him and use him for their own ends..... idk

What is important to acknowledge is that the facade the Knight of Doom puts up is not only to hide the fear they have for their Aspect, but it is most definitely there to hide the grief and pain they have not yet completely finished going through. Whether it’s been weeks or years, the Knight of Doom is someone who would rather hide themself away from these feelings than find a way to truly mend and heal them ... they have built a false wall between them and their suffering strong and thick enough to partially block it from their memory. 

... Knights are known to become extremely stubborn whenever people try to order them around and pressure them into doing something, and the Knight of Doom is no different - especially if they believe what they are doing is for the greater good.

Knight of Doom: One who Exploits with Doom or Exploits Doom

Knights hide a fear of a perceived fundamental failure with their Aspect behind a shield of confidence and obsessive effort. Their challenge is to learn to take it down a notch and to understand that they are skilled enough

A Knight is very skilled with using the rules and limitations of any game or session to their advantage. They skillfully fulfill any responsibility or obligation required of them with ease. They might use their natural caution and pessimism to make realistic choices and endeavors. They use and exploit any rule or limit that they can to their advantage. They might also be very good at exploiting any sacrifices made or any obligation or responsibility that they are held to. They might be very good at avoiding any unnecessary thing or person and are very good at recognizing when something is too futile to even bother with.

Likewise they might only focus on the necessary things in their game or session so they are likely to not do much unless it’s absolutely necessary. They would very likely be very meticulous with themselves about following the rules properly and constantly restrict themselves, maybe thinking they aren’t following the rules properly enough or not following the right ones. They might sacrifice anything they consider unnecessary about themselves or the way they live, sometimes even going too far with it, in order to be considered or thought of as less useless. They’re always trying harder and holding themselves to extreme self-imposed standards.

They would likely wait for the opportune moment to strike, though they are slow to move or act, they always will when something necessary needs to happen. Out of all the Doom players, a Knight of Doom seems like the one most likely to sacrifice themselves for the greater good. A Knight of Doom can also expertly use and exploit fire, bombs and explosions to their advantage, maybe they create flashy distractions during fights. They might even use decaying or dying things to their advantage.

Role in the Session: Rather like the Prince of Doom, this role’s title kinda has “edgelord” written all over it, but that’s not a set-in-stone character trait. The first thing that comes to mind re: what the Knight Class and the Aspect of Doom have in common is a strong sense of obligation. The Knight of Doom is bound to take their duties and responsibilities Extremely Seriously, perhaps rather too seriously at first ... Knights also tend to be very protective of both their Aspect as a concept, and of themselves and those close to them; while the Knight of Doom isn’t likely to be outwardly aggressive, given Doom’s reserved, slow-burn tendencies, woe betide those who try to deceive or confound the Knight or their allies. One of Doom’s internal contradictions (which I find personally fascinating) is that the aspect is associated both with cynical resignation and with a profound albeit restrained sense of passion and persistence. Doom is what’s left after everything else gets burnt away.

The Knight of Doom will likely be a very skilled combatant, as the Knight is a class strongly associated with Strife / battle, and Doom is one of the more overtly destructive Aspects. I’d put them in the Top 5 Roles to use a cool flamin sword, at least. They’re not going to be eager to fight, per se, but they’re not going to have much trouble scaling the echeladder when it comes to that either. Internally, they’re likely to struggle with a perceived (but largely imagined) inability to fulfill their duties, and they could well stumble once or twice in their quest to be perceived as reliable and stoic, or as someone who their friends can lean on. They’re probably doing more than enough already, but if they’re not careful they might overexert themselves and take on too heavy a burden, and they’re liable to be crushed by their own expectation that they face their challenges alone. This is going to factor into their capital-Q Quest and the environment of their planet, and will be the biggest obstacle in their path to Ascension. A Knight’s duty is to protect their co-players, but their co-players also have to support them.

Hey! If youve been following me for a while, you might remember me doing ygo live blogs and you might've noticed that I just kinda stopped one day. That's because I sometimes just dont wanna keep watching stuff sometimes even though I really enjoy it, and in this case because Ive been playing minecraft adventure maps and following one (1) mineblr blog who is still into dsmp and I used to be into dsmp, but I dont wanna go back to watching it bc dream is problematic or something and watching it would make me feel awful, so I wanna watch some non-dsmp mcyt stuff.

Specifically, I wanna watch Arazhul and Chaosflo44, who are german youtubers I used to watch all the time in like 2015. They had these 100-episode modded survival minecraft series and I re-watched all 3 of Arazhul's earlier in 2020 because my mental state was totally not collapsing, but I haven't re-watched the 5 (?) they did together yet and I remember really liking those. I haven't even watched all 6 (?) of the series Chaosflo did, because I always liked him less. Like, I obviously can't say what either of them were/are actually like, but their personas were very much Flo (Chaosflo) being the straight man to Roman's (Arazhul) comedic randomness and I always found that pretty boring when they weren't together. I only watched Minecraft Genesis which was the fifth one (i think?) and part of Utopia (sixth one ig) and while I don't remember much of those, I do feel like theyre probably better in terms of story, which is great, bc I do not have the attention span to just watch white boys fuck around in minecraft without a story anymore and Roman's story just ended. Straight up, his third series just ended at ep 97 without even trying to resolve the one continueous plot point throughout these series and I am still unbelievably pissed about it. But yeah, point is, I trust Flo didn't do that and if he did, I guess I get to have my 'by talos this cant be happening'-moment here.

Theres also Paluten, who had a 300 episode modded survival minecraft series with some other guys but I dont think I'll watch that because I found most of it pretty boring even when my standards where much lower, so yeah.

I also kinda wanna watch Hermitcraft bc thats like the only mcyt thing that isnt considered cringe or whatever but again, I dont have the attention span for non-story minecraft stuff like that (and it has like 10000 episodes combined) but it also looks like later seasons have more of a story and im a bit of completionist so yeah...

Also, Im pretty interested in this thing called 3rd Life SMP, but I think I wanna wait a bit before checking it out so its not another thing I get invested in before its cancelled/considered cringe so I have to stop watching it because it makes me feel bad.

So yeah, thats what Im gonna be doing. Im not gonna live blog it, because while there are storylines theyre not really storylines you can follow and are acted out in a conventional way, theyre more like watching someone play through an open world rpg and occasionally do modded survival minecraft stuff. Im definitely talking about it though, so block '#lunas mcyt shit' if you dont wanna see any of that.
