cedric diggory x fem!reader
you were known for being an ice princess. being a slytherin, coming from a rich family, one of the smartest in your class; the whole package. but then you accidentally drank verisaterum, and the person you bumped with… had to be Cedric Diggory, the boy you liked for years.
warnings: language, the twins doing something illegal, emotional reader, little use of yn
reminder: english’s not my first language, so I apologize do any spelling mistakes.

“Morning, (yln)”
“Malfoy”
Of course, he didn’t say anything as you walked out of the Slytherin common room on your way to have breakfast. but you felt his blue eyed intense stare in your back. Unfortunately, you lived in a world where even Draco Malfoy thought that hanging out with you was… not good, but since his parents knew yours, saying hi to you was the least thing he had to do, mainly because it was his parents request.
You decided to go alone this morning. Well, you were always alone, but when you do have company, it’s your cat; Hara. She looked very pleased with her sleeping position, so bothering her was not an option.
You could say she was your only friend, the only one you had ever since your first year at Hogwarts and now, on your sixth year, everything was the same. Did you hate it? Not at all. You got used to being alone, even though you hated it at first.
Your family has a reputation, therefore, you do too. People say you’re an ice princess, they say that if looks could kill, many students would be dead by now and you’d easily be responsible for it. Despite your very low desire of having friends or even sharing your life with wizards and witches, they said many other things about you too that could have easily be something that describes the sweetest girl in the world.
The way you walk, as smooth as if you could float, small but decided and confident steps. Always smelling fresh, like just showered; whoever sat next to you could sense it so strong that some even said that your perfume is made with amortentia.
Besides, you were also your house Prefect.
Truth was, you were an easy center of attention, even when you didn’t want it. A Slytherin girl who’s family is rumored to be richer than the Malfoy’s, her best friend is her black cat, always wearing the most expensive jewelry, spending as much time in the library as possible to study and also someone who’s extremely intelligent that shows its passion for Defense Against the Dark Arts, being at the top of her class? How could you not be someone that people talked about?
You were a whole mystery. But they were too afraid to even try to discover you.
You didn’t know who even started to say that you were not someone good to be with, so you couldn’t understand anything at your first year and cried yourself to sleep every night because no one wanted to be around you. With time, it got better, maybe it’s better to be alone than being sorrunded by bad people, you thought, and it always made you feel better when your stone cold heart was about to melt when you felt too vulnerable.
But no one, definitely no one… makes you feel as vulnerable as Cedric Diggory.
Of course you knew who he was, who didn’t? He was a revolutionary insanely attractive guy that caught every girl’s attention even in his first year. For your first year in Valentine’s day, he received at least twelve letters and a massive box of chocolates gifted by an anonymous girl at your grade, and he didn’t hesitate on sharing it with his friends. On second grade, he gained even more popularity after becoming a part of the Hufflepuff Quidditch team, and by fifth grade already, many girls were desperate to ask him on a date and fantasize about what being their girlfriend was like.
You couldn’t deny that you were one of those girls… not the girlfriend part, but the one that could easily fall for him if your heart gave the chance.
You liked him in first grade, secretly, but as the months went by, the colder you became, the more you avoided him, and the more you forgot about his existence, just being another person you know that would not be relevant in your life.
At least, not until he bumped into you just when the year started, three months ago.
You were walking with your hands full of books, almost covering your view as you tried to find your way to your dorm again. Hara was next to you, as always, and you secretly wished she was a human the whole time so she could transform back into her original shape and carry some books for you.
That didn’t happen.
What did happen, is that you gasped as your books bumped into someone’s body; for the second time. The first one ran away when she offered to help you and you yelled at her to leave you alone, because you were too angry to even let her help you.
But how could you yell at his face?
“Oh, Merlin” he had said before quickly getting on one knee, and his big hands already started to pick up three books. You just stood there… silent. “I’m so sorry, I was coming around the corner and-…”
Your tired and big sigh interrupted his words. “It’s fine.” your voice said as you got on both of your knees as you fixed a piece of tour hair behind your ear. “It’s the second time today.”
“I’m sorry” he said again, much sadder this time, and you noticed. You thought you maybe were too hard on your words, or your tone, or the way your face was clenched, but why would you care? Weren’t you always like that?
You didn’t answer though, just silently picking up your heavy and boring looking books from the floor.
Cedric had looked up at you twice while picking up the books. He recognized you from the hallways and his classes, but didn’t find the need to introduce himself; he thought you wouldn’t care a bit. Of course, he had to think just the same way as everyone else.
You secretly wished he didn’t, but you also thought that this was going to be the only time that you saw him and actually talked.
“Are you going to your dorm?”
You frowned your eyebrows at him as you lifted your head. His brown were hidden behind some hair that fell on his forehead as his lips were parted, waiting for your answer. You nodded your head, suddenly remembering that you were actually talking to him, not staring at a fucking statue. You slapped yourself internally, feeling stupid.
“Yeah” your answer was short.
“Let me help you then, it’s the least I can do”
God, could he be more perfect?
But your hard ass had to complain.
“No, it’s okay. I know my way”
You heard his laugh when you picked up the last book from the floor.
“I know you do, but I want to help you. They’re too heavy for you”
You sighed loudly again, and with an annoyed expression on your hardly visible face, you said; “Look, I don’t need help, okay? Just-…” you stopped when you looked to your left. Hara was always there, but not this time. “Where’s Hara?” the fear in your voice alerted Cedric’s ears.
“Who’s Hara?”
“My cat!” you almost yelled, letting your books fall again as you quickly got up, already disappearing into the corner in which the brunette guy came from. “Hara?”
He was quick to follow behind you. “It’s a black cat, right?”
“What?” you asked, turning your head as you found him standing next to your body, looking down at you. “No! I’m not letting you help me find my cat”
“Well, too bad” he muttered before walking past you and brushing your shoulder. You scoffed, surprised with wide eyes as you heard how he called your cat’s name and made those same little noises that everyone does when they are trying to find a cat.
He did not fall for your complaining. Why did you like it so much?
“Ugh!” you shouted towards the ceiling while letting your arms rise up and then fall heavily to your sides. “Hara!” you screamed, knowing damn well that that would not make her come to you again, but being the only thing that came out of your mouth.
You could still hear Cedric’s voice as you silently looked for Hara in the cold hallways, books long forgotten, probably getting stepped on by many students.
For what felt like ten minutes, you were already convinced that Cedric was long gone and had stopped looking for your cat. Your thought got you relaxed, but also worried, were you too harsh on him? Too rude? You didn’t want to be rude with him, or with anyone but it was just what came out of you.
Cedric didn’t run away though. No, he stayed, he insisted. He had to be one of the few if not the only person that ever did that to you, at least for the past three years…
“yn!”
And then he called your name.
A single name falling from his rosy and pumped lips, letting it fall like thick and sweet honey that tasted as magnificent as the sweetest chocolate or cherry. You liked how it sounded, coming from him.
You turned your back, and he almost smiled when he noticed what he had in his arms, and the way your eyebrows instantly came back to their original not-worried expression.
Hara seemed a little too comfortable in his arms as she looked around nervously, as if she saw something she shouldn’t, or got scared by something. He stopped in front of you and gave you your pet in your arms, slightly letting his hands brush yours, but quickly letting go. The feeling was too good to be that short.
“Where were you?” you asked staring into her yellow eyes, as if she could answer. “You scared the living hell out of me, sweetie”
“Sweetie?”
Shit, he was still there.
You just gave him a quick look before kissing Hara’s head and placing her down to the ground again, pointing her with your finger to stay there, she meowed.
“Uh… thank you” you said, probably for the first time in months, and quickly feeling your throat go dry. He smiled, proud of himself because of course, he knew you never acted like this, in fact, it was like a totally different person in front of him.
He noticed the way your cheeks went slightly pink when he caught your baby-acting way of talking to Hara, he found it cute.
Cedric didn’t believe many of the things he heard about you over the years, like, you study so much in the library because you secretly read black magic in the forbidden section, or that you were so mean on your third grade that you made three girls cry the first day, when in fact, he knew it was another person. He almost hated the way people decided to treat you one day and never notice your existence again when it came to friendship.
You were popular, but still, one of the most feared persons. Did that make sense?
“Anytime” he replied, and you held your breath when he got closer to you, still looking at you, but quickly getting on his knees again to give your cat some little pats on her head and stomach when she just laid there, asking for more of his —probably— soft and comforting touch.
Traitor. You thought, looking at Hara.
“She’s so cute” you heard him laugh when your cat gave him the purest glassy eyes ever, enjoying his presence while you stood there awkwardly, just wanting to leave. “I think she loves me”
Once again, you didn’t know what to say, so you stayed silent again, playing with the edges of your robe.
He got up again, still standing too close to you. “You’re still letting me carry those books, right?”
“Huh?”
“Come on, it’s the-…”
“Oh, I know” you interrupted, lifting your palm as your lips clenched in disgust, but way too funny to not make him smile for the last time. “It’s the least you can do” you imitated and exaggerated manly voice.
He walked with you the whole way… and you hated the fact that you let him. If your arms weren’t feeling heavy with books, the ones that Cedric made you grab because they were the lightest, you would’ve crossed your arms over your chest all the way, but since you couldn’t do it, you decided to give him a silent treatment.
He kept eyeing you the whole way, that annoying expression on your face that really made him question to himself if he should even try to talk to you again.
It was not towards him though, but to yourself; how you hated yourself for acting so different all of a sudden, so… small. But this wasn’t your fault, was it? I mean, if he didn’t show up, none of this would’ve have happened, so he was the one to blame, wasn’t he?
Right?
You questioned yourself that same thing over and over again for the following week.
It was like he invaded your mind, everytime you looked at him, you heard him talk in class, or walked past him down the hallway. It was like you were always trying to see him too, it was pathetic.
Fucking pathetic. He only helped you find your cat, for God’s sake, why was that so important to you?
Maybe because no one ever helped you before, or the way he walked so tentatively towards you anytime he walked, or how good he looked with your own cat in his arms… so cute, so handsome.
Sometimes he was there when you tried to sleep too, inside your head. What was happening to you? Why were you desperately trying to keep him out of your mind all of a sudden? Why did you feel your heart skip a beat whenever he talked? Why did you happened to be thinking about his face so much? Why wouldn’t he let you sleep?
Was this what your talked about? She mentioned something about liking boys at a certain age, but every boy you ever knew ran away from you, so, was Cedric this boy now?
You certainly didn’t know what was it about him that caught your attention so suddenly, but stopping was not an option. After all, it made you feel good.
The more days that passed, the more confused you felt, and people started to notice. They saw how you were muy quieter now in class, how you barely raised your hand or how you just seemed… lost. Was something wrong with you? Probably, because you didn’t even eat your breakfast this morning. You just sat there, playing with your scrambled eggs and toasts, not even hungry enough to eat what you served.
There was some mumbling that came from behind you, the Gryffindor table, but didn’t even bother to look back at them, as you always do, so they would either lower their volume, or shut up. Instead, you took the cup in which you had some pumpkin juice, and drank it all.
And then, the mumbling stopped.
The whole Gryffindor group went silent, and that’s when you turned around, almost asking them to speak again… they were all staring at you.
Fred and George were mouth opened and all big eyes looking directly at you, as if something really bad just happened. His friends were whispering into each other’s ears, and you finally spoke.
“What?”
Silence.
“What are you staring at?”
“Um-…” one of the twins spoke first, but you found tell which one was it. Then he lifted his finger, and pointed to the golden cup on your left hand. “Was that your juice?”
You frowned your eyebrows, looked at the cup, and then back at them. “Yes” you replied “Why so interested?”
Silence was dominant again, as the twins exchanged a scared look and then looked back at you again. Your ears were starting to get red, nobody was telling you anything so they were either messing with you, or something bad had happened. You chose to believe the first one… but saying what you were actually thinking was not part of the plan.
“Alright, stupid looking faces, what the fuck is going on?”
The expression on their faces changed, surprised about hearing what you just said… you never insulted anyone. In fact, people thought that you were the kind of person to insult in their mind, but trying to be as cold as ever on the outside, that’s why everyone called you ice hearted or ice princess, you never actually said what you thought… you just tried to be as calm and as cold as always.
But you just insulted a group of teenagers, and that never happened before. No matter how mad you were, you always tried not to insult. People did it to you and it felt horrible, so why do it to someone else?
You gasped lowly while covering your mouth. “Fohmygad” you muttered against your palm. “Oh my God, I’m-… I didn’t want to”
“We know” the other twin had said. “You just drank veritaserum”
And your whole face transformed.
“What… did you just say?” Your voice tone was scary, just like a threat.
“It was not for you!” you recognized the girl that just spoke to you, Angelina. You sat with her a few times in class, but she was quick to run away from you as soon as class finished. “I told you you shouldn’t have done that! All the cups look the same” she hit one of the twins on the side of their head. He whined.
“How was it supposed to know she was going to grab Malfoy’s cup?”
You quickly stood up and placed the cup on the table, right next to, in fact, Malfoy’s breakfast. It was not too far away from you, and you had poured yourself the same drink, but Draco left for a second before you drank the wrong juice.
Fred and George kept talking at the same time towards you, fear in their voices and getting smaller and smaller almost hiding under the table. You ignored them as much as you could so nothing else could come out of your mouth, and with half your face covered, you walked away from the Great Hall.
But of course, not before bumping into another person again.
“Woah” Cedric said as he grabbed your shoulders. He laughed when he noticed it was you “We keep bumping into each other, huh?”
“Don’t talk to me” you bit while shaking your body off of his grabbing, and bit your tongue again as the gigantic door kept getting closer and closer, but it didn’t make you feel any better.
You didn’t look back as you walked as fast as you could towards the bathroom on the fifth floor, the Prefect’s bathroom, after all, you were one. It was a safe place, since no one was ever there at that time in the morning and not everyone could come in. You just wished that Myrtle was not there, she could be a bit annoying sometimes.
After letting your way in, you ran to wash your face with the coldest water that your skin could handle. Your skin was on fire, just like the rest of your body and maybe, just maybe, your brain. You have definitely gained a new enemy.
Verisaterum? Really?
Malfoy could be a pain in the ass but, out of all the potions in the wizarding world, the Weasley twins had to choose the hardest one to make, with no taste, no color, but most importantly, illegal to any use outside the Minister?
Merlin’s fucking beard, you needed a break.
“yn?”
You scoffed when a male voice called your name. “It’s occupied, genius” you answered with your back still turned to where the voice was coming.
The footsteps were coming closer and closer, and you were not in the mood to deal with any Weasley shit, you thought.
“Pretrificus Totalus!” you screamed while turning around, your hand already grabbing your wand and throwing it towards whoever it was the Weasley that followed you.
“Hey!” the male voice, not Weasley, screamed as he hid behind a wall, your spell crushing into the cold surface. “What do you think you’re doing?” Cedric showed himself, confusion on his face as he slowly decided to walk again.
“Cedric.” you called, putting your wand away. It was the first time you called his name. “I thought you were one of the twins”
“I can tell… are you okay?”
Yes.
“No”, you replied. You groaned lowly when the truth came out of your lips. In times like this, you really wished these kind of potions didn’t exist, it was hard to hold back their enchantment. “I just drank the most stupid potion that the Weasley twins could think of to piss off Malfoy”
He placed his hands inside the front pockets of his pants as he laughed. “Verisaterum?”
“How’d you know?”
He clicked his tongue, making his way towards you again. “They joke about it too much” he leaned his back against the sink you were gripping tightly with your hands.
You took a deep breath and stayed silent for a moment, analyzing your reflection as you asked, “How long does it last?”
“Depends on how successful it is. It can go away between one hour and six”
“Six hours!?” you yelled to his face, then scoffed while letting an annoyed smile draw on your face. “For the love of….”
“We can always ask Snape for the antidote… but that would mean you tell him about the twins’s action and that was illegal”
You bit your tongue as your feet bobbed up and down, snapping your toes onto the shiny floor again and again as your breathing was a clear sign of how bad you were feeling.
“Forget it. I’ll just wait”
Your knees bended as you sat on the floor, right next to Cedric’s legs, and letting your head fall against the cold pipe under the sink.
“You’ll wait up until six hours before you speak again?” his voice could perfectly fit with another type of quiestion… ‘are you crazy?’ would be the perfect one.
But you just nodded, not even looking at his perfect face. “It’s not like I have someone to talk to, anyways”
Ouch.
Cedric bit the inside of his cheek as he looked down at you, feeling bad for you and how vulnerable were feeling, but being smart enough to keep that thought to himself.
“Or… you can talk to me”
You clicked your tongue and laughed coldly. “Yeah, right”
“Really” he insisted as you saw his figure squat next to yours, finally dropping his whole weight to the floor, imitating your posture. “By this time you should already know I’m not someone who falls for your complains, right?”
“You’re right” you replied as you played with your fingers nervously. “That’s good”
Shit, shut up already.
“Why?”
“‘Cause I like it… oh my god” you covered your face “I was not supposed to say that”
Cedric laughed again.
“You like my company?”
No, no, no, no.
“Yes” you whined “Please stop asking me questions!”
He let out a louder laugh this time. “Why? It’s fun”
“Yeah, you drink verisaterum and we’ll see if it’s funny, smart boy”
“Sorry”
He stayed silent after that, and so did you. Your cheeks were flushed with embarrassment as you kept wishing that this potion was so poorly made that it only lasted one hour, but the effect didn’t seem to go away any sooner.
You could feel it because that’s just how your mind felt too. Suddenly the thought of not saying the truth to any question was not an option in your mind. Did you even know what a lie was? God, you felt so weak that you hated yourself. Why couldn’t you be like those wizards you read about? The ones that can resist it?
Your whole reputation and personality would’ve stayed intact if you could.
But right now, sitting right next to Cedric Diggory, asking you questions, and with red cheeks… that just ruined the whole image that people thought you had.
“Do you mind if I ask you something?” he suddenly stammered and it made you jump slightly. He had leaned closer to your ear, as if sitting next to him was not enough to hear him.
“I do” you answered before laughing to yourself “That was the only answer that did not feel forced to come out”
Cedric laughed too, and he took his time before deciding what to ask you, trying to find the correct words to say to not make you mad, or walk away and leave.
“Is it… are you really how people say you are? I mean, I see that you can be as cold as you want but, is that who you are?”
Your eyes made him nervous. After his lips closed, your face just inches away from his, you just stayed there staring at him. You bit your own lip as you kept looking at his grey eyes, trying to find any sign that showed you that he really didn’t care about it, or that the wrinkles on his skin would show up like anytime he laugh, another sign that he was just messing with you, and he really couldn’t care in the slightest about you. But he didn’t move.
So you sighed. “No”
Cedric nodded, more than satisfied with that answer. He was right.
But you had a lot to say, even though he didn’t ask you that much.
“I guess I became what people started to say I was, or what I started to hear about myself. I wasn’t always cold, or I wasn’t always pushing people away from me. Actually, I was the one trying to have lots of friends and be myself with many people but they just… I don’t know, they felt threatened, so… let’s just say I got mad with my own life and decided to not let myself feel vulnerable again, because I don’t deserve it”
Another big gap of silence… and your eyes slowly got filled with tears.
“I’m not who everyone says I am. Ice princess, the hell” you laughed “I mean, sorry I’m not a sweetheart to everyone that gave me nicknames! They expected me to be like this so, here they go”
You sniffed while your nose got red and puffy. Not a single tear was dropped but you still looked so heartbroken that it made the boy next to you almost cry too. You didn’t even complain about the potion this time, because you finally had thrown again that massive rock that just kept hurting your chest over and over again.
“There was only one person that treated me nicely in the last three years”
He frowned his eyebrows. “Who?”
“You”
You had turned your head towards him again, with a small smile on your lips. He knew it was going to be hard for you to thank him, but the shiny look in your eyes was just enough for him to realize. “Really?” he asked.
You nodded, still smiling. “Yes, it’s like a bonus point”
“Bonus point?”
“Because I like you”
Fuck… fuck!
“I-…”
“Wha-…” you both started taking at the same time.
It was like a fucking movie. Both of you frozen in time, staring at each other’s faces as you tried to say the correct words, but nothing came to mind.
Cedric could feel his heart pounding in his ears, while you wanted to crash your head to the nearest wall.
“You…” he started, but didn’t finish, at least not what he initially wanted to say. “Are you for real?”
“No, Diggory, I just fucking lied to your face, can you believe it?… Of course I’m for real, dingus!” you yelled.
Cedric bit his lip as he turned his head to the opposite side, trying to bite back his laugh. “Okay, I get it, it was a dumb question”
But then he laughed. God, his laugh, his perfect little giggle. It made you smile.
“I kinda like you too”
Your neck snapped so hard towards his direction that you thought that maybe, you just died.
Your lips kept opening and closing everytime you tried to say something. For some reason, none of this seemed like a joke to you, almost as if the potion’s effect had affected Cedric too. Something about this felt real, maybe it was because you openly talked about your feeling with him. He knew you weren’t bad, he always knew, he just wanted you to confirm it.
Maybe drinking verisaterum wasn’t as bad as you thought.
Your heart pounded heavily in your chest when he fixed a piece of your hair behind your ear, and the lightest yet burning touch of his fingers against your jawline made your breath hitch once again. He smirked again, as he always does, “You’re really beautiful” he cooed, as his hot breath hit your cheekbone and left behind a sweet feeling that you never wanted to get rid of.
He then got up, as swiftly as a leaf would do, and extended his hand to you.
“What?” you debated.
“Let’s go for a walk. I feel like I have to ask you a few more questions before I decided which place I’m taking you to this weekend”

You slightly nuzzled into Cedric's neck, slowly loosing you attention span as he went on rambling about his day and quidditch practice. It'd been a long cuddling session after school, a part of your daily routine with Cedric. Today's felt different, something lingered in the air around him, wanting more than to just be by him.
Without a second thought, you cupped his face gently, tilting his jaw to your face and closing the gap by connecting your lips.
He quickly was cut off from his rambling thoughts, now putting an arm around you as he pulled you in by your waist. Dating for a year had always been great, and more than healthy between you two-but you'd never done anything further than making out. Cedric understood you not wanting to rush, and to take things at a comfortable pace.
Now, the kiss was more than heated. your hands slid down his shirt, gently carresing his abs. before it could go further, he slowly pulled away, admiring you with glossy eyes.
"y/n.. I don't want to rush you or-" he was hesitant before you continued smashing his lips onto yours, cutting him off.
"I-i want this now ced, i trust you please.." you placed soft kisses across his jawline, a new and daring move for you.
"are you really sure though love?" he questioned, gently placing kisses across your forehead.
"yea," you nodded shyly, "i only want it to be you".
he gave in, slowly roaming his hands across your body, slowly leaning in capturing your lips, which were now both moving in sync.
he pulled away slowly, going down your neck, sucking gently leaving a small red ring around it. your cheeks slightly became flushed, in nervousness and excitement.
his hands move towards the hem of your shirt, unclasping your bra, discarding everything on the floor.
your hands naturally covered them, you cheeks began heating as you were now exposed for the first time around him.
"fuck baby- so beautiful f'me", "don't need to cover them, 's beautiful" he kissed your lips gently, continuing placing kisses down your breasts, sucking against them lightly while his other hand massages your other one.
"ced, just like that- feels so g-good" you giggle in between your moan, interlocking your hand across his messy hair.
he unlatched his mouth from your tit, pumping his cock that was causing a tent in his boxers, slowly revealing it leaking with precum.
he lets out throaty groans at the feeling of pumping his cock a few times before lining it at your entrance earning a gasp from you. you both felt connected, a new high of a feeling roamed throughout your body.
you dug your nails into his shoulders, nuzzling your face in his neck, shyly covering yourself.
"you alright baby?" he questioned, softly rubbing circles around your back.
"n-no ced don't stop please", you continued, shutting your eyes taking a breath.
"fuck, y'so beautiful baby, feels so good" he groaned.
he slowly let you adjust, groaning at the feeling of you walls clenching around him. you threw your head back in pleasure, as his cock pumped in and out slamming along your walls over again, making you mumble his name into his neck.
"ced-ced, feels so good" you moaned softly at the knot forming in your stomach, scratching his back firmly as he praised and placed kisses across your jawline.
"fuck baby- so tight fuck-" he groaned in your neck, pulsing his cock deeper inside you every second.
you suddenly screamed his name louder, almost louder than expected, him hitting your g-spot repeatedly.
"let it out baby, go ahead love" he circled your clit in eight figures, making your body shiver from the waves of pleasure.
you hid your face in his neck as you rode out your high with each other, his thrusts becoming sloppier as you felt his lips trembling.
"you're so beautiful baby, can't believe I have you all to myself love", he smashed his lips to yours, his cock trembling as it twitches inside you.
he slowly rested his head on your shoulder, panting softly coming down from his high, gently laying on top across your body.
"you alright love?' he smiles widely, gazing at you with soft eyes.
"y-yea ced, just really happy that you're my first" you reconnected your lips with his, interlocking arms before slowly falling to a deep sleep.

a/n: dear reader, thank you so much for following this series - i never imagined you would like it so much. i hope you enjoy this final fic, and please do reblog if yes! i’m sad to leave ceddie and harry, but i like how i've ended it :)
The morning after Cedric’s surprise party, you’re woken up by the soft sunlight streaming in through the huge windows of the Hufflepuff common room. Lifting your head up, you hear Cedric grumble, arms tightening around you. The scene feels so cozy that you don’t want to return to reality - but there’s a Herbology midterm coming up, and you’ve never been a natural at the subject, unlike a certain Hufflepuff. And so, you begin extricating yourself from Cedric’s embrace, which is no easy feat.
“How’s it feel to be seventeen, Ceddie?”
You get a groan in response.
“Alright, alright, then you stay put, but I’ve got to go study. I’m not a genius like you,” you tease, squirming in your efforts to slide out of his grasp.
“‘M not a genius, Y/N/N. You help me all the time. Don’t go, I know you’re ready for it, you don’t need anymore studying,” comes a sleepy protest.
“Mm… thank you for your confidence, but I assure you I am not in the least prepared. And what is all this bad advice coming from a prefect,” you raise an eyebrow, before finally slipping out of Cedric’s arms, and standing up immediately to avoid being pulled back in.
You feel the loss of Cedric’s warmth around your shoulders, and it weakens your resolve far more than it should, so you figure you need to leave as soon as possible, before grey eyes melt you into a puddle and back into his chest.
“Oh, fine. Leave me right after spending the night,” Cedric jokes, fully awake at last. He chuckles at the flush on your cheeks from this statement, and dodges your hit to his arm. “Just kidding, darling. Thank you for the party. Now go do what you have to do, I know you’re a busy girl.”
You smile softly, before tiptoeing up to ruffle his hair, and turn to leave. The gray eyes don’t leave you until you’re fully out of sight.
******
Climbing through the portrait hole, you see Ron and Harry sitting on the carpeted floor in front of the hearth, playing Wizard’s Chess, and Hermione engrossed in a book on the nearby couch. The scene is so familiar and comforting that it brings an involuntary smile to your face, before you wipe it off, the fight replaying in your head.
Ron is the first to see you, freezing mid-check, and gives a weak wave. Harry turns, and so does Hermione, with the former also stiffing up, and the latter offering a sweet smile. Hermione then looks back, and, finding the two boys silent, rolls her eyes, and jerks her head in your direction, glaring at them.
Spurned, Ron and Harry stand up, and walk over, looking so dejected that you almost feel sorry for them.
“Y/N - it’s nice to see you again,” Ron begins, his expression sheepish. Harry nods to echo the sentiment.
“We just wanted to apologize for that night. For the mean things we said. None of it was true, and it was of no fault on your end,” Ron confesses.
Your eyes soften, and give him a pat on the shoulder, “thanks Ronnie. And I expect you’ve said the same to ‘Mione?” giving him a pointed look, to which he nods fervently. At this, you offer a smile at last, and seeing this, Ron seems to realize he’s forgiven.
“I’ll give you two some space then,” he says, guiding Hermione away, and leaving Harry alone with you in the Gryffindor Common Room.
Harry gestures for you to sit, and the two of you settle in on the carpet.
“Y/N/N - I’m really, honestly sorry. I had no right to say what I said, and I’ve felt horrid about it every day since then. I know you’ll always have my back, and some Yule Ball date would never change that. I hope you’ll forgive me,” the black haired boy finally blurts, the words spilling out of him.
Your resolve crumbles. I mean, this is Harry. One of your best friends. You could never stay mad at him, no matter how much he messes up. It’s like he said: you have each other’s backs. So you lean forward and hug him, breathing in the smell of broom polish and treacle toffee that you had missed incredibly, feeling the boy physically relax into your touch.
“You really like him, don’t you?” Harry chimes, as you pull out of the hug.
“Yes, I do. And I hope you’re okay with that,” you share, crimson spilling onto your cheeks.
Harry nods, a grin spreading across his face, “I am, really. I know I acted in jealousy at the ball, but I don’t think I’ve ever actually felt romantically towards you - not that you’re unlikeable, you know, just -”
You laugh out loud, cutting him off, and offer a nod, “I get it, don’t stress yourself out, mate.”
He nods in relief, “you’re my best friend, Y/N/N, and that’s it. I love our relationship, and I do not want it to ever change.”
You nod, feeling better than you have in nearly a month.
Ron and Hermione choose that exact moment to enter the room, the guilt of eavesdropping written on their faces. But you’re far too happy to care - the gang’s back together.
******
Over the next month, life returns to normal, or rather, a new normal. Hermione is hanging out with Krum as much as possible, to make the most of their time together before the tournament ends and he returns to Durmstrang. You don’t see her nearly as much anymore, but it’s understandable.
Instead, you spend your days either studying out on the greens with Harry and Ron, or hanging out with Cedric, going to Hogsmeade’s various little cafes.
The second tournament task comes along, and you, Hermione, and Ron are pulled into the headmaster’s office then sent to the bottom of the Black Lake. When you awake, Cedric is treading water to keep the two of you above the lake, and you’re quickly pulled out and given a warm towel. Since Cedric finished first, the two of you rest in the champion seating section, and the boy keeps asking you if you’re okay, despite your fervent exclamations that you’re probably doing better than he is.
His friends soon surround him, arriving with endless teasing about how you’re the person “he’ll sorely miss,” and Cedric flushes scarlet at their words, refusing to meet your eyes. Eventually, he manages to shove them all away, and looks down to see you grinning.
“Ced, just so you know, I would’ve sorely missed you too,” you admit, before pressing a quick kiss to his lips.
Suddenly, Cedric could care less about his friends. He feels warm and dry and cozy, not a trace of the Black Lake’s eeriness on his mind.
******
A few weeks later, and it’s your birthday. Cedric had wracked his brain for ways to top your surprise party for him, and enlisted the help of the trio to do so. Hermione contributed all your likes and dislikes: she knew you like the back of her hand; Ron got Fred and George to put together a little sparkler show for you, and Harry was in charge of inviting all your closest friends.
The day of, you wake up to Cedric’s voice, before he gives you five minutes to pick an outfit, then promptly blindfolds you and leads you out to the courtyard, where the cutest picnic party had been set up. You laugh in delight, ecstatic, and after a quick kiss for Ced, rush over to meet up with your friends.
As you catch up over drinks with them, two boys, one Gryffindor, one Hufflepuff, are standing a distance away, both looking at you with slight smiles.
Soon, the sky is darkening and the party growing more and more uproarious. You spin around to see Harry and Cedric talking, and grin. Strolling over, you place an arm around each. Cedric kisses your hair, and you give Harry a tight hug.
“Thank you for all of this,” you say, “seriously. I’ve never been happier.”
Before they can reply: you were never one for cheesy emotions, you (forcibly) pull them toward the karaoke machine, where Ron and Hermione are singing their hearts out.

I still remember the third of December, me in your sweater
It was a cold day - a third of December to be exact. It was late in the afternoon and quidditch practice had just ended. You were drenched in sweat, your bright red Gryffindor quidditch jersey barely shielding you from the cold now that your body was cooling down from the exercise.
You fished in your bag but loudly cursed when you realized you had forgotten to pack your sweater and jacket. Fred had asked you to do something for him right before practice, making you almost late and also making you forget half of the things you wanted to pack on one of the Burgundy common room chairs.
A shiver slipped passed your lips, eyes darting up to the gloomy pathway leading up back to the castle. A thin strip of paved stone slithering up through the grass, the polished stones shining as rain poured down its hill.
Great.
You swallowed, wondering how you were going to make it back to the castle without freezing to death. You watched as the one and only Harry Potter got out of the changing room--all cozily wrapped up in warm layers of clothes, a big Gryffindor scarf wrapped around his neck, and a knitted sweater poking from under his blue raincoat
You really wished that could be you right now.
That was until your savior's voice broke you out of your spiraling thoughts like he always did.
Your name, so perfectly coming out of his lips, making butterflies flutter deep in the pit of your stomach. You tried to calm them down, try to make your heart beat calm before lifting your gaze to his. Eyes clashing with his grey ones. Like always, you felt the shivers tumble down your spine.
"Let me guess," he had a slight smile to his tone, the corner of his lips fighting to not form a teasing smirk, "you forgot your sweater?" The corner of his lips couldn't hold out the smirk any longer as your face fell in defeat.
"I think so," your eyes went back to the small window by the door, the pouring rain was threatening to turn to snow later in the evening. You bit your lip at the thought of walking through this storm in an already drenched quidditch jersey.
"What am I going to do with you?" He smiled, a bright smile that made you weak in the knees.
"I don't know Ced," you shrugged, brushing of the way his eyes never left you.
"Here," he didn't think twice before handing you his. "I know it's not Gryffindor but I'm sure it will at least keep you warm until you get back inside," all your thoughts froze in place, and for a second it felt as though it was only you and him in the small space between the changing rooms.
He was towering over you, arm reached towards you and his yellow sweater balled up in his hand. "Plus, it's too small for me now," he added, "It would look better on you, anyways," you had to look away to compose yourself from his words, an anxious breath leaving your lips.
Only if he knew how much you liked him.
You stared at the ball of yellow before gazing up to him, trying to make a decision. You were about to speak, maybe even accept his offer but you had to watch as his gaze flickered from you to someone passing behind. You painfully watched as his eyes softened and almost sparkled under the light.
Your shoulders slumped, bracing yourself for the worst of impacts; you already knew what you were going to see if you followed his eye line.
It was already as if he had taken your heart out of your chest and ripped it apart before your eyes.
You felt your head turn by itself, your heart dropping to your stomach when your suspicions were true. She walked there, right behind you in all her glory, Heather.
She flashed a bright smile towards Cedric, blatantly ignoring you before walking out the door, and into the raining lands of Hogwarts.
You watched the door for a good few seconds, the silence feeling heavy in your chest.
Heather was a Hufflepuff chaser, always first in class and always having something bright and positive to say.
What a sight for sore eyes, brighter than the blue sky
Of course, she had to be prettier than you. Long brown hair braided for Quidditch, and crystal blue eyes that seemed to glisten in the sun. You would have sworn on your life she was part Veela if you hadn't already been familiar with her parents.
She's got you mesmerized, while I die
"No it's alright, I'll be fine," you muttered, "but thanks, I appreciate it." You brought him back to reality. His grey eyes leveled back to you as you pushed his hand back towards him. "I'll freeze my way back to Hogwarts," you half-joked, standing up before he could even argue.
So, you walked back up to the castle, heart broken into a thousand pieces and shoulders shaking from the cold.
Every day you had to be reminded that he loved someone else.
It all started last June, right before the summer holiday. Professor Trelawny paired them up in divination and ever since he only had eyes for her.
She seemed so perfect; a good sense of humor like you, mixed with the brains and the looks. She was even on the quidditch team, again like you...
But he only saw you as a friend. His childhood best friend who was placed in a different house than him. His childhood best friend who got into way too much trouble with the Weasley twins. His childhood best friend who was doomed to watch him love someone else from the other corner of the room.
But your misery couldn't end there. Because you knew Cedric and you knew that even if he was a Hufflepuff, bravery was his most prominent trait. You knew that it wouldn't be long until he asked her out: he had already been debating the idea since September.
And every single second of it felt like a knife to your heart.
And, by the next week of December, you had to watch as they walked into the great hall--hand in hand.
Watch as she stands with you, holding your hand
Of course, she would have said yes. It was Cedric Diggory--the heart throb. Everyone liked him, everyone dreamed of him. He was kind, and brave and everything someone could ask for in a relationship. All of his golden traits mixed into one beautiful being.
Somehow you thought that being his childhood friend would have made you higher up the list. That he would notice your lingering eyes and the way you reacted when he was close.
But you like her better, wish I were Heather
She was wearing his Hufflepuff sweater, the one he had offered you a week earlier. Now you sort of wished you had accepted it, not even that--that he would have given you the sweater as a token of his love, not as only helping a friend.
You gave her your sweater
Of course, Cedric spotted you by the Weasley twins, and of course, he wanted to introduce you.
Oblivious to how he painfully twisted the knife inside the wound, he sat in front of you by George, and Heather gracefully took a seat at his side, delicately hooking her arm around his torso.
put your arm 'round her shoulder, now I'm getting colder
The lunch went on, and with every second you felt another piece of yourself crumble away. So much that by the end your mind had fully gone blank. Desperately trying to tune out the way he was holding her, stealing glances with her and everything you wished could happen with you.
She's got you mesmerized while I die
The worst part is that it was so painfully obvious to everyone else. Fred and George played eye tennis, reading each other's minds in an attempt to find ways to help you.
Fred who sat by your side ended up placing a hand on your knee in an attempt to comfort you. It somehow made you feel better, but you knew nothing could fix the Cedric-shaped hole in your heart apart from the man himself.
And after a painful half an hour, you decided you had enough, instead of holding in the pain, and pretending like everything was alright, you finally excused yourself, pretending you had finished your lunch early and mumbling something about extra homework to be done before class.
Your feet flew up to a little hidden corner of Hogwarts that to your knowledge only you and Cedric knew. It had become your hiding place, but he never seemed to come anymore. It was just you in this lonely corner of the world these past few months.
So you let the tears fall. Hot drops stained your cheeks and this time you couldn't do anything about it. It wasn't a random joke from the twins that could fix it. It wasn't his smile or something he would say that could cheer you up. It wasn't anything he could give you, because his heart was already taken. His heart had been partly given to someone else and in your lonely corner of the world, you wished you could have a piece. You wished that Heather hadn't taken all the pieces for herself.
Maybe it was selfish. But also how could you hate her? She had always been kind to you and even today she hadn't shown an ounce of jealousy towards your friendship.
But how could I hate her? She's such an angel
No one was to blame.
You had to live with your misery.
December turned into April and the pain in your chest had become nothing but a numb feeling.
The tears were frequent though. And it would always be the red-haired twins that would try to glue the pieces of your heart back with jokes. Bring the pieces back with soft laughter and dumb pranks, but it was never enough.
You hated the way this made you drift away from him.
His presence seemed to get further as she stole him piece by piece. She made him drift away from you like a deadly river that was so beautiful you wouldn't guess that stepping in it would drag you miles away, making you drown in the process.
Was that what she was doing? Making him drown in her presence as the tied of her river dragged him further and further from you?
"Hey Y/n/n," George broke your thoughts, snapping his fingers in front of your eyes.
"S- sorry-" you blinked again, your eyes falling to the work on your lap.
"I asked you what you knew about Disneyland," he pointed to the paper; Muggle studies.
"I've been there once," you replied, your tone slightly off as the thoughts of Cedric tried to grab your train of thoughts again.
"And?" George paused and watched you swallow as you blankly stared at a spot on the carpet. "Y/n/n," he sighed and shuffled closer to you--placing a hand on your shoulder to catch your attention again. "Cedric's a dumb dumb," he whispered. "He's dumb to have chosen her instead of you, and dumb to have abandoned you after they started dating."
You took a long breath in and out, looking back down to the homework on your lap.
George looked at the clock and clicked his tongue "Let's go to quidditch practice, it will cheer you up," he grinned and stood up, making you follow him.
Rain was pouring down the freshly cut lawn of the quidditch pitch, reminding you a bit of that December evening.
You leaned a bit against George as you walked, your eyes drifting to the opposite side of the pitch, wondering the house you were playing against today.
Of course, practice had to be against Hufflepuff...
To your surprise, Heather wasn't glued to Cedric as they walked out--and both of their gazes seemed to be lost elsewhere.
Did they fight?
Something in the back of your mind was asking. Cedric looked pretty mad, and it didn't take long for you to get confirmation when you watched him guide his team. Although he wasn't being mean, his tone was harsher and his patience short--making every yellow-wearing player feel uneasy.
From the other side of the pitch, Heather was pointing a deadly glance at you. The rain was already bringing you shivers, but her stare was even worst and it made you wonder what in the world happened.
You hadn't done anything. Hell, you hadn't even talked to Cedric in weeks.
You hadn't even noticed George had left your side and paired up with his twin again, excitedly whispering to each other.
"What's going on?" You questioned, their grins only expanding as they caught your eyes.
"I've got something to tell you," he sang along his words, bouncing on his feet.
"What's up?" You smiled with them, their grins contagious and spreading faster than any other disease.
"There's a rumor."
"A very interesting rumor," George chimed.
"Cedric and Heather had a fight."
"A fight?" They got your attention. "About what?"
"2 rumors: That she cheated on him with Jamie Lammerson,"
"they've been awfully close lately," George added.
"Second rumor is that she did it because he's been acting more distant lately," Fred continued.
"That's he's been acting distracted," George finished.
"Distracted? By what?"
The twins looked at each other like they knew the biggest part of the puzzle which you were apparently clueless off.
"You!"
"Me?" You shook your head. "Impossible," you laughed, a bittersweet laugh that felt sour on your tongue.
"Not as impossible as you think," they said in unison before making their way further the quidditch pitch, leaving you stranded with your own thoughts.
~
This time you hadn't made the mistake of forgetting your sweater, and Cedric noticed.
He noticed?
"I'm glad you brought your sweater today," he smirked. A smirk you hadn't been on the receiving side of in weeks.
What the heck was he doing talking to you? Shouldn't he be with Heather, laughing about a dumb joke she made?
You blinked, "y-yeah."
Him, on the other hand, he had completely forgotten his. He was soaked with rain, wet hair that fell to his forehead making water drops drip onto his shoulders.
"But you forgot yours," you noticed.
"I did," he scrunched up his face and twisted a part of his shirt to drench the water in a poor attempt to dry it.
Somehow it wasn't awkward. Even if he had spent weeks without talking to you, your friendship didn't seem to have taken any impact.
Your smile lingered and you noticed that his stare did too.
Weird.
Were the twins right?
Right until Heather stepped out of the changing room. Her wet hair tied in a bun, she was all wrapped in dry clothes, fixing something about her bracelet by the changing room entrance.
Cedric noticed her, and suddenly, the glim in his eyes died down, making you frown.
He cleared his throat--giving you a stiff nod before following her out and back up to the castle. You heard his words echo from a distance--something about needing to talk about their fight.
It made you frown even more.
But you couldn't dwell on that too long, you were on broom cleaning duty.
The rain had made your job easier. It had partially removed all the dirt from the collections of nimbus and cheap school brooms. You didn't mind the work and the thundering rain made relaxing music as you meticulously scrubbed every last one of them.
You dusted your hands and admired the clean brooms aligned on the floor of the big shed, awaiting polish and all the other products to make them stay pretty and shiny.
You opened the closet and frowned when you saw that the polish was empty, realizing you would have to go to the other side of the field to the second storage unit; the one with old broken brooms and extra products.
You grabbed your raincoat, securing the hood before darting across the pitch and slipping in between the tall bleachers, walking along the field downhill towards the crooked storage shed, half hidden in between the overgrown trees and bushes.
"Wait- we have to stop-" You heard mumbling from the inside, freezing as you realized people were in there. Great. You had forgotten this was a famous make-out spot.
"What do you mean stop? Is this about Cedric? Aren't you two practically broken up?" You gulped as you heard the name, your heartbeat quickening.
Maybe you heard the name wrong, or it was another Cedric?
But the female voice that spoke again felt way too familiar.
"Well, I think we sort of made up?" You balled up your fist. So it was true, Heather was cheating on Cedric--with who you expected to be nonother than Jamie.
Cedric wore his heart on his sleeve while she was doing all this behind his back...
"You made up!?" Jamie's voice became a bit angrier. "Heather, I thought you were ending this? I thought you said he became interested in what's her name again?"
Was he talking about you? You munched at your lip in anxiety as the conversation went on.
The rain was still harshly falling against your raincoat, but you were frozen in place. It felt impossible to move with what you were overhearing.
"Yeah, Y/n. She's one of the Gryffindor chasers. The one who broke your nose last game, remember?"
"Oh, her. Aren't they like best friends of something?"
"Kind of..." She mumbled--she seemed angry.
Jamie laughed at her reaction. "She's definitely a threat. I thought they were together before the two of you were a thing."
What you didn't see was Heather shooting daggers at him with her stare.
"Will you shut up?" She sounded mean, nothing like the facade she wore every day.
"Why? You dragged me here remember?" Jamie bickered back and you could sense tension in their words, this felt like your cue to leave.
The brooms would be fine without polish.
You turned back, making your way back up the small field leading up to the pitch. Walking through the bleachers again and back inside the shed.
What the fuck?
~
The next day, that overheard conversation was eating you whole.
You were walking in the middle of the hallway as you headed to your next class, Fred and George on either side of you like usual. You were drifting off into thoughts again, running images of how you were going to tell Cedric, or how you were going to attempt to make this situation stop.
He was your best friend, and he didn't deserve this. He didn't deserve her.
"Hey!" A voice came from behind you, making you jump as you felt two hands on your shoulders. You all turned around to meet a bright-eyed Cedric.
He looked all happy and giddy and it made you raise an eyebrow.
"Can I steal Y/n for a second?" He looked at each of the twins.
"Ask her," they both pointed to you.
"Yeah," You nodded, not being able to help the small smile that bloomed on your lips at the sight of him. "What's up?"
"I wanted to talk to you." He looked behind your shoulder to make sure the twins had continued their way and weren't eavesdropping like they famously did. "Somewhere quieter," he smiled and you almost thought he was blushing.
"Sure."
You followed him down to your secret place. Your hidden corner of the world where you had spent the last few months coming alone.
It felt weird seeing him there again, especially with you.
"I wanted to apologize." He awkwardly stood in front of you, scanning your features for a reaction.
"Apologize?" Your scrunched your eyebrows. "For what?"
"For how distant I've been lately..." He went back and forth on his heels and looked down to the floor. "For the way I've been ignoring you-"
"Cedric, it's ok."
"No, it's not. It's not because you didn't deserve this. I've been an awful friend lately and it's been because of-" He didn't want to stay it. He didn't want to voice the name of the person whom he knew had caused you and him all this pain.
He might have been oblivious for a long time, but now he knew.
And he wasn't going to take this opportunity for granted.
"Because of her"
"You can't blame her, it's normal, she's your girlfriend-"
"Was," he corrected you. "She was"
You blinked, your breath catching in the back of your throat as the words registered.
"What?"
"We broke up," you looked to the side as you tried to process the information.
Was that why he was acting all happy when he asked you to follow him here in the first place?
"But I thought?"
He shook his head.
"I told her it was over yesterday. We got into another fight because she complained about the fact that I was talking to you after practice," he took a step closer to you, "but she also made me realize that it wasn't her I liked," he looked down to his feet, and you could feel your heart leaping in your chest.
"I've heard things... about um- the way you might feel too. But- if it's not true, I'm not going to ask you to feel the same-" He sighed through his nose and suddenly your whole world lit up again. "But I want you to know."
"I'minlovewithyou" you muttered, barely audible.
He heard it. His whole being lighting on fire as the words climbed up to his mind.
But he wanted to hear you say it again.
"What did you say?" He muttered, reaching to cup your cheek as he took a step closer to you, chests touching.
"I'm in love with you," you said again, loud and clear for him to hear.
Cedric didn't think twice before leaning down, breath mingling together as he whispered.
"I'm in love with you too," he smile before closing the gap between your lips faster than you could say Quidditch.
You thought you were going to explode, your body as his hand found itself on your waist.
You were kissing Cedric.
You were kissing your childhood best friend.

HEHEHEHE YOUR NOT GONNA SEE WHATS COMING (i don't think anyways)
Written with anti-hero by Taylor swift in the background
Woah surprise surprise I actually got a request done instead of posting mphfpc/symbiote reader crossovers
Summary: Request above
--The Yule Ball is three days away--
The classroom was barren and desolate with no one in it, you thought. It was your seventh year at Hogwarts, and the triwizard tournament's tension was a foot in the intense air of the campus.
Though, that tension had dissipated a little with the oncoming dance. You were thinking frantically about who you would bring since nobody had asked you yet.
Something creaked, bringing you out of your thoughts. You look to the door to find one of your close friends, Cedric Diggory, closing the distance between you both swiftly.
"M/N!" He called with a smile on his face.
You gave him a grin back and stood up to go see him. Seemingly without thinking he pulled you into a tight hug.
This confused you a little due to him not really being the affectionate type with you. He seemed more emotionally close and physically distant even if he wasn't like that with other people.
You and Cedric had been friends for what seemed like forever. Your parents met his parents in Hogwarts a long time ago, and they got it on well.
So from then on you and Cedric were best friends from the beginning. You even shared a crib to play in whenever you were both just babies.
You've also had a long-lived crush on him since second grade basically; you tried to convince it was wrong, but that was eons ago it seemed. It failed miserably, you remember.
That's why you were worried that he was in the tournament. It made you sick to your stomach to think he might die because of some stupid prize he wanted.
"I have a question for you." He said with a blush spreading across his nose and cheeks.
You raised an eyebrow in question, amused at what stupid thing he might say. His questions are notorious for being unthought out most of the time anyways.
"Will you go to the Yule Ball with me?" Cedric mumbled and a smile danced on his face.
Your eyes widened in surprise. You thought he had been eyeing Cho Chang this entire time and was going to ask her to the Yule Ball.
"You're not going with Cho?" You asked.
He shook his head solemnly. "No, she turned me down, but you're the next best one, M/N. We've been friends forever."
You were absolutely appalled that he could even think that. You were the next best? That is the definition of 'what someone doesn't know can't hurt them' and what it applies to.
"I'm the next best, Cedric?" The hurt was apparent in your voice.
You pushed past him softly, still not wanting to hurt him, and headed for the door. The sound of his shoes squeaking against the polished floor filled the tense air.
"Wait! M/N!" He called.
With anger bubbling up inside of you, your dorm seemed like a fine place to go. As long as you weren't stopped along the way it would all be fine.
The hallways were bustling with students and teachers alike, some going to classes or others that have free periods. You had a free period after that interaction, so you were eternally grateful.
"M/N!" A voice shouted. "M/N, do you have a second?"
You really wanted to just ignore this person and continue to your self pity and solitude, but what fun would that be? Your tracks stopped as you waited for this mystery person to catch up to you.
To your surprise it was Harry Potter who stood before you now. He had an embarrassed look on his face.
He said something that you definitely weren't expecting so soon after Cedric. "I want you to go to the Ball with me." He muttered quickly, looking at the ground.
Half of you thought it might be a little weird taking the chosen one to a Ball, but the other half wanted to do something to get back at Cedric, and Harry wasn't half bad.
"I don't have a date yet, so why not." You said with a big smile on your face.
--The Yule Ball is now two days away--
You decided to hang out with Harry and his friends today instead of Cedric, but Ron and Hermione had went off somewhere, leaving you and Harry to your lonesome.
You both talked about some random things, schoolwork or teacher gossip mainly. Well, that was until Cedric walked over with an angered look on his face.
"M/N, have you decided yet?" He demanded.
Harry looked at him confused. "What could he have decided on for you? He's going to the dance with me, anyways."
"Oh, M/N didn't tell you? I asked him to the dance the same day you did, and I bet he's using you to get back at me. He's never even shown any interest in being your friend, much less your date."
Harry looked at you with widened eyes. "I thought you said you had wanted to be my friend for a while?"
It's true; you said that. You thought that it would've been an easy lie to get away with since everyone wanted to be the chosen one's friend but apparently not.
Harry took your silence as guilt, and his face turned from puzzled to infuriated. He opened his mouth as to say something but was stuttering.
"You lied about wanting to be my date and my friend, so you could get back at my opponent?" He questioned.
You rubbed at the back of your neck, thinking of what to say. You were at a loss for words at how unprepared you were.
"You know what? I'm done. I don't even want to know your reasoning, M/N." Harry barked and then walked away with his hands balled up into fists.
Cedric looked at you with passive rage in his eyes. "You did this one to yourself."
He walked away shortly after looking you up and down. You stood there in shock of what just happened.
Now you definitely wouldn't be able to find a date since Cedric and Harry were probably going to spread this story like plague around the school.
--The day of the Yule Ball--
Long story short, you didn't even go to the dance since you had no date. You stayed in your dorm locked inside of your room.
Oh well, M/N! You did this to yourself after all.

summary: The reader and Cedric are on the train, going to Hogwarts after vacations. The reader is reading a book and a smutty scenes comes on. What happens when Cedric sees what the reader is reading?
Cedric x fem reader
Warnings: mentions of sex , swearing.
After coming back from winter break, you finally return to Hogwarts. You were wearing a classic tee and pants. You would change in to your robes later.
You got in the train wand went to the hufflepuff side of the train. You were greeted by familiar faces and their smiles. Until one particular face caught your eye.
Cedric diggory. The perfect golden boy, your best friend and crush. I mean of course he was your crush, have you seen him? This guy was perfect. Gorgeous was written for him.
“hey y/n!” ced greeted me with a warm smile. God. That smile was perfect. “Hey ced , how was your break?” I ask taking a seat beside him. “great! What about yours?” “amazing.” We talked for a while until josh came which distracted Cedric. Josh and Cedric have been best friends for years.
As Cedric was distracted I started reading my book, I was so engrossed in my book I didn’t even realise josh left and Cedric was reading with me.
Until a steamy scene came on ‘he starts to remove her top and she starts to unbuckle his belt’ you shift in your seat getting more comfortable. Of course you were getting wet. Cedric noticed this.
‘you.belong.to.me. He says as he thrusts into her’ you bit your lip. You felt a warmth breath coming near your ear. “whatever you read here, is what we will do when we reach.” Cedric says in your ear. He says this and leaves the cabinet. Leaving you flustered.
A/n : help, idk how this was💀💀

🌹for gr!cedric and bc!gryffindor!reader please🤗🤗
Hi darling! Thanks for the request <3 Hope you like it!🥰
Romantic headcanons for Golden retriever!Cedric Diggory and Black cat!gryffindor!fem!reader
For sure Cedric is always the one who iniciates the pda gestures. No matter if it's a kiss, a side hug or a full cuddle session, he is the one who starts it. If bc!reader is in the mood for some affection she is always too shy to ask, but Cedric manages to pick the clue most of the time
As the relationship goes by reader starts becoming more confident when it comes to being lovey dovey with him (although always beind closed doors) and Cedric could not be more happy about it
With bc!reader he feels like he can be the goofiest person in this world. Most of the time he is pressured by everyone to be the perfect. Perfect quidditch player, perfect student, perfect son, perfect prefect (pun intended, sorry)... And the moment they are together he can just be Cedric and fool around
Probably has the stupidest and chessiest dates ideas of the world. Karaoke nights, watching silly romance movies (He is a Mama Mia stan and I will die on this hill), cuddle afternoons which turn into tickling competitions because he loves to hear reader's laugh... Bc!reader acts like it annoys her, but they both now she secretly adores it.
He is the most boyfriend material ever. He just "accidentaly" leaves his scarf or quidditch t-shirt on bc!reader's dorm so she will end up waring them (although she does not understand what he is doing and keeps giving him them back until Cedric explains it), asks her mother to teach him to cook your favourite meals, have their whole future planned out...
As bc!reader is more on the introvert side, she comes up with different ways to tell Cedric how much she loves him. Marking books and giving them to him because that quotes made her think of him, trying to bring herself to open up more often, being more affectionate when nobody is around or wearing his scarf to his quidditch matches and celebrate every time he scores (even if it's against gryffindor, her own team)

“Stay still” you tsked, you straddled Cedric's legs, his cock resting on his stomach as he tried not to whine. Squeezing lube into your hand and then rubbing it onto his cock, making sure to get him slippery so the latex didn't drag on his skin. He had already came twice already and you knew this would drive him crazy.
Taking the square of the latex and stretching it a bit as you put it on top of his tip, Cedric whimpered loudly. You started moving it over his tip, his legs moved under you and you laughed.
“Stay still or i'm stopping,” you said, he stopped moving but his head was digging into his pillow and hands grabbing at the sheets. You kept moving the latex, over and over. Cedric was overstimulated and desperate to cum again, he wanted to start moving his legs again and bucking his hips but he didn't.
“Please! Please, use your hand” Cedric begged, a smile crept onto his face as you moved it more and more, the lube working like a charm.
“Why? It doesn't feel good?” you teased, going faster on his cock. Cedric laughed and turned his head to the side.
“Huh?” you said, a smile on your face and you went even faster.
“It does! It does!” cedric laughed then moaned, closing his eyes and digging his head into his pillow again.

could you do some writings for cedric please ;(
Series of Pleasant Firsts - Cedric Diggory
Tumblr media
Pairing : (F/M) || Cedric Diggory x Reader Word Count : 3k Warning : None. Notes : When the walls between love and friendship starts to crumble, will any of them be brave enough to take the leap of faith and tear it to shambles? Idk how to describe this story. It’s just fluff. Thank you for requesting!
She watches as he tries to break his own record at stone skipping with a wide smile. He’s always been so gifted with outdoor activities. Both muggle and wizard sports, he seems to be a master of it. How his cheeks are always tinted with rose colour from the burn of the sun, his skin gleaming from the sheer layer of sweat. Cedric Diggory is a one beautiful boy, indeed.
She misses this. Spending quality time with him, just the two of them. Having separate houses in Hogwarts were starting to create distance between them. It didn’t help either that the friends they made with were not of the same circle. Him with his popular little Miss and Mister Perfect friends while she finds comfort with the more quiet and reserved flock.
“Come and take a dip with me.” Cedric says with a smile, panting as he takes his top off.
“No.” She says short, looking back to her book “I’d rather stay in the dry area, thank you very much.”
“Oh, come on! You’ve even got your swimsuit on, it’d be a shame to not test it in the water.”
She didn’t budge, glueing her eyes to the pages.
“I promise your book will still be here once we’re done.” Cedric says, taking her book away gently as he tosses it to the picnic basket “Besides, you kind of owe it to this lake. Remember how we would always go here every other weekend? It’s been ages since, so you have to take a dip.”
He didn’t let her have another minute of thoughts as he pulled her by the waist, practically dragging her to the body water. Her scream echoes as he throws her in, soaking her entire body with the cold water. She wanted to be angry at him for not giving her the chance to take her cardigan off but it’s hard to stay mad at him. Especially when his eyes glisten as he chortles like this.
Their smiles bloom even wider as she begins to splash water on him. They playfully drown each other until he admits defeat, evidently letting her win just to please her. Now they’re standing close in front of another with smiles still tucks on their lips, making the most of time to study each other’s features.
A lot has changed in him. Cedric was always a beautiful boy and yet somehow he’s grown even more beautiful as if it was ever possible. His jawline is more defined, cheeks more hollow as he lost his baby fat. It was as if his face was sculpted by a Greek God and Goddesses themselves.
“You’re staring.” He says, biting down a smile.
“So do you.”
“Have I ever told you how pretty you are?”
She blushes.
“Any guy would be lucky to have you.”
And there it is. Any guy. Not I would be lucky to have you.
It’s frustrating at times how gentle and tender Cedric’s gesture could lead her on. There are more than a handful occasions where she could have sworn that he sees her more than a best friend. The way he treats her has changed to how he did when they were still children. To admit embarrassedly, she feels like Cedric is treating her like a lady instead of a mere friend.
A lady he wishes to win their heart.
“Let’s not talk about boys, shall we. I have just enough girlfriends chirping in my ears about them at school.” She says with rolled eyes, walking to the edge of the lake “I’d have my head if you too decide to lecture me about them.”
Cedric smiles, amused as he swims further to the middle “Why, what do your friends talk to you about?”
“You know, how everyone is apparently dating everybody else. How they’ve got their first kisses already and how pleasant a date in Madam Puddifoot’s Tea Shop is. All those sappy things I’m sure your friends are also on about.”
“You say it like it’s a bad thing.” He chuckles lightly “I’m sure they’re not half as bad as you moan them to be.”
“Easy for you to say. You’re always swarmed with beautiful perfect girls who are willing to drop their knickers down for you anytime around the clock. I, on the other hand, am not so lucky with a romantic life.”
“Come on, that’s hardly ever true. I’ve heard a lot of my guy friends talk about you.”
“Well the next time you hear any of them talk about me, do send them my way. I’m tired of waiting for some guy to finally ask me on a date.” She groans, feeling pathetic on herself “I haven’t even had my first kiss yet.”
Cedric raises his brows, “You haven’t had your first kiss?”
“Nope.” She shakes her head, getting off of the lake “Pathetic am I not?”
She walks to their picnic spot, placing her wet cardigan on a tree close by so it could dry. She dries herself with a towel, brows slightly furrows at the sight of Cedric coming out of the lake too. He’s usually not out until the sun’s down.
“I have an idea.” He says, looking quite unsure of himself “But you have to promise me you wouldn’t kill me and throw my body to the lake.”
She raises an eyebrow, “How do you mean?”
“To tell you the truth, I haven’t had my first kiss yet either.” Cedric admits, cheeks looking rosy at the confession “I’ve only lied to my friends so they would get off of my back.”
“Who did you tell them you had your first kiss with?”
“You.”
She went mute.
The flush on her cheeks are probably more crimson than his now. His eyes were still glued on her, intently examining her reaction. For the first time in her life, she’s seen Cedric being this flustered.
“So seeing that we have a common problem and how I had dragged your name into my lie, I was thinking.. Maybe we could just.. You know, have this over with?”
She blinks rapidly, trying to process his words. He’s still standing there, unnerved. His eyes were still anticipating an answer, fingers fidgeting as he waited patiently for a sign.
She asks hesitantly, “You want to.. Kiss me?”
“Only if you’re fine with it.”
She silently pinch herself, trying to make sure that she wasn’t dreaming. Cedric Diggory is really asking her for a kiss. Though his reasoning is plainly based as a friendly favour, she still finds it hard to accept the fact that he wanted to kiss her.
“Alright.”
He grins, sighing in relief, “Brilliant.”
“So how would we do this?”
“I- I don’t know.” He admits, sounding unsure himself “I mean, we’d just.. You know, kiss.”
“Okay. Of course. Right.” She nods timidly, trying to maintain her composure “Should I keep my eyes open? Or would you find it more comfortable if I close them?”
“Open them, please.” He says softly as he takes a step closer, placing her hand on her jawline “I’d like to see your eyes.”
She nods.
It’s getting harder for her to stay relaxed. With every inch he’s closing in, she finds her body to be more rigid, afraid that one wrong movement would make him pull away and change his mind. She wanted this, Godric knows how badly she’s prayed for this. She could only hope that he wouldn’t hear how loud her heart is thumping right now.
“I’m going in, okay?”
She could only reply with a nod.
She closes her eyes as his warm breathing meets her face. Within seconds she could feel Cedric’s soft lips touching hers, gently brushing over each other. She could feel the electricity jolting through her body with every peck. For a first kiss, he surely knows his way around.
“Wow.” He breathed as he pulled away, eyes still closed as if he tried to cling onto the feelings longer “We should’ve done that sooner.”
“Shut up.”
She shoves his shoulder playfully, trying to hide her tomato face.
The kiss would certainly haunt her mind for days, if not months from now.
“So, uh, we’re still friends, right?” Cedric asks, rubbing his nape “I mean, the kiss.. It didn’t change our friendship anyhow, right?”
She bites down the heartbreak, nodding and smiling instead, “Of course.”
“Brilliant.”
Again, she could have sworn she saw the disappointment reflecting on his eyes. As if he was feeling the very same bitterness she’s feeling right now. But as he said it himself, the kiss changes nothing. They’re still friends. Just like they’ve always been.
Just friends.
____
The Hufflepuff boy runs to her, a smile plastered on his face. It seems like he’s been searching for her around the castle with how many beads of sweat trailing his face. His face was slightly red, panting as he tried to control his breathing.
“Hello, there Champion.” She teases, fixing his shawl that was slightly misaligned from all the running “Fancy seeing you here.”
“I’ve been looking for you.” He says in between his pants “You would not believe what has just happened.”
Her brows furrow, intrigued at what he’s saying, “What, what happened?”
“I’ve asked Cho Chang to be my date for the Yule Ball and she said yes!”
The smile on her face starts to dissipate. Her eyes were starting to look blank as she let the words sink in. He’s asked another to be his date. How foolish of her to have expected him to ask her instead.
“That’s brilliant, Ced.” She says with fake excitement, smiling though it could not reach her eyes “I’m very happy for you.”
“Thanks.” He nods, looking proud of himself “I have to be honest with you, I was worried she would’ve said no because I heard Potter was planning to escort her too. Thank Merlin she chose me instead.”
She nods, still forcing a smile, “Good for you, Ced.”
The rest of his words went in and out of her ear with no remark. Only becoming a background noise she tries so hard to quiet down, feeling suffocated at its ringing. Though he’s always been surrounded with girls, there has never been one Cedric was evidently interested in. Everyone just comes and goes, becoming one of the many names mentioned in his stories.
She’s always known that one day or another she would have to face the day when he would find a girl and have his world gravitate towards her. Leaving her alone as a lost satellite. No matter how much she wanted him to know that he is her sun, she knows that in his universe, she was just another passing star.
“So, uh, how about you? You’re going with McLaggen, so I’ve heard.” Cedric says, bursting her bubble back to reality “I didn’t know you two are close.”
“No, no we’re not.” She says flatly, not looking at him “He’d asked me but I haven’t said yes. I was waiting for someone else but I supposed I’ve hanged McLaggen for too long, I should give his answer now.”
“Wait, you were waiting for someone else?” Cedric asked, stopping their pace “Who?”
“It doesn’t matter, Ced.”
The sparkle on his eyes dulls down as the puzzle clicks, “You were waiting for me, weren’t you?”
“Just forget it. It’s not like we owe each other anything.” She says harshly, her tone coming out a little bit more rude than she intended “Besides, not everything has to be shared with a friend.”
Cedric’s eyebrows rose, looking offended, “What’s that supposed to mean?”
“I’m just saying,” She turns to see him, hands balled into a fist as she tries to control her disappointment that is now transforming into anger “We should stop gatekeeping each other's feelings because it’s getting toxic.”
Cedric was appalled. He doesn’t understand where all her anger was coming from. If anything, he should be the one to be angry at her. She was the one who’s gotten a date first before him. He should be the one saying all these hurtful truths.
“Consider said feelings gone. From now on we don’t know each other.”
She nods, holding in the tears threatening from her eyes, “Done.”
____
Ever since their fallout about their Yule Ball date, neither of the two has exchanged a word to another. Still, that does not mean he doesn’t get her full support through his tasks. Her worry was growing deeper and deeper with each task passed. Though Cedric won first place on the second task, knowing how Harry barely got out of the water in time was enough of a nightmare for her to live with.
Screw their argument, she thought. She’d rather have him break her heart daily than to live with the thought of him away, not knowing if he was safe or not. If she has to live the rest of her life with him being oblivious of her feelings then so be it. Any of that would be better than not being able to comfort him when he’s in trouble.
And so she finds herself struggling to meet Cedric. She squeezed herself into the crowd of Champions and their supporters but the blond boy was nowhere to be seen. Perhaps he’s gone elsewhere right after the second task score announcement was made. Helped Cho to get warm or something.
But just before her heart turns desperate, she hears her name being called.
She could recognise his voice anywhere, anytime. Before she could call him back, Cedric has already wrapped his arms around her, engulfing her in a big wet hug as he pulls her close. Her body heat is his only source of warmth, gritting his teeth in coldness as he rests his head on the crook of her neck.
“I was so worried they’d taken you to the lake.” He says, frantically examining her face “Are you alright?”
“I’m fine. It’s you I’m worried about!”
“Merlin.” Cedric sighs in relief, pulling her back close to his chest “They’re trying to get me killed, for real. If not from the tasks then from a heart attack, I swear it.”
“Don’t say things like that.” She protested, feeling scared of the thought “You know I hate it.”
Cedric couldn’t find a word to utter. Instead he just chuckles lightly, tightening his embrace on her. Helga knows how much he misses having her in his arms. He peppers her forehead with kisses, trying to ease both of their worries away.
She didn’t know what happened but the waves of emotions made her cry. The worry, the stress, and frustration of not being able to be there with him has driven her crazy. Now that he’s here, giving her the very embrace she’s longed for, she couldn’t help but to shed a tear or two.
“Hey, listen,” Cedric says, breaking the hug as cups her face, gazing on her eyes deeply “I know that things haven’t been pretty lately and I know I have the bigger part at fault in that, but I really can’t spend another day without you anymore. If you want to hate me, then hate me but hate me close so I can still see and touch you.”
“Ced-”
“No, I’m not done.” He cuts fast, still frantic from the jolt of adrenaline “I know we’ve been friends for as long as I can remember but I’m willing to burn that bridge and build another one with you. I don’t want us to be just friends anymore. I want you to continue being my first. My first friend, my first kiss, my first heartbreak, everything.”
She cries, nodding to his words.
“And if you’d have me, I’d try my best to be your very last. I know we’re still young but being there in the lake- Screw it.”
Spending no other second, he finally seals their lips. The very same feelings they felt years ago when they shared their first kiss by the lake washes over them. In fact, this time the feelings were magnified. Their despair and crave for one another has certainly enhanced their hunger.
She finds herself melting under his touch. Cedric’s kiss was more demanding than she last remembered them. This time he kisses her with greed, trying to make sure that she knows just how aching he is without her. He wanted her to know that she is the only remedy to his thirst.
“Wait,” She says as she breaks the kiss, earning a confused and disappointed look from him “What about Cho?”
“She understands.”
Cedric paid no mind to his words before continuing the kiss. He has certainly found something new he hates most in this entire universe- being interrupted as they kiss.
“Wait, Ced.”
Cedric lets out a huff of exasperation, “What? What is it this time?”
“Mr. Diggory.” An authoritarian voice calls from behind. Cedric has to bite the embarrassment down when he turns to see Professor McGonnagal eyeing them two with her strict eyes “You are expected at the Headmaster’s room along with the other Champions. I’m sure the two of you can continue your business later.”
Cedric nods, pursing his lips in embarrassment, “Yes, Professor.”
Professor McGonnagal gives one last nod before turning her heels to go into the castle.
She has to bite down her laughter as Cedric turns back to see her. Her cheeks were pink, embarrassed yet feeling blissful at the same time.
“I have to go now.” Cedric says softly, smiling yet looking like he wanted to stay “I’ll find you once I’m done.”
She nods, grinning, “Alright.”
“I’ll come back to that.” He says as he plants a chaste kiss to her lips “And that.”
“Just go.” She says with a giggle, smiling in between his kisses.
Cedric smiles, pulling her into another kiss before finally walking away.
She watches as his figure slowly drifts away. Her heart is still swelling from the new reality she’s trying so hard to comprehend. She bites her lower lip, trying to prevent herself from grinning like a lunatic. From then on, she knows that whatever first she has to do, she’s sure that they would only be a series of pleasant firsts with him.

what jealous Cedric would be like…
slu7formen’s masterlist | cedric diggory masterlist
Okay but, Cedric was not actually jealous.
Of course, he doesn’t like it when guys are too close to you but, he was fine with you having as many friends as you want so… there was no need to be jealous about anyone.
But oh, if we talk about that Ravenclaw guy.
He was in the same year as you, and as far as he knew, you and him were partners in potions. Cedric saw him many times around you, walking next to you or exchanging notes you wrote during class, but didn’t actually know the guy’s name.
Your boyfriend didn’t pay much attention to it until one week you started to spend too much time with him —not actually that much time but it felt like a century to Ced, since he wanted you around all the time— because of a project. Now the problem wasn’t that, the problem was, that guy wouldn’t leave you alone.
He would walk behind you with the excuse of discussing something about the project but it was so obvious that he just wanted to talk to you and spend time with you but of course: that didn’t happen when Cedric was around.
It almost was as if your boyfriend was a shield to his failed attention seeker mission.
Cedric knew how guys worked, even though he never wanted to steal someone’s girl, he obviously noticed when someone tried to steal his girl. And he didn’t like it.
So, he waited for you to get out of class, as he often did, but not only with the purpose of seeing you, but seeing him.
That shiny black haired bastard with his bright perfect smile and sharp jawline was laughing about something funny you said as you stepped out of the classroom. None of you noticed Cedric’s presence just three meters away from you.
His jaw slightly clenched when he immediately noticed the desperate desire of that guy for you to stay with him and talk, when you tried to leave. He had grabbed your wrist, forcing you to turn around to him again. Was he dumb? Was he dumb enough to really think that he could have a chance with you when you had a boyfriend?
And even if you didn’t have a boyfriend, why was he so insistent!?
Cedric couldn’t deny that maybe if you were single, his now handsome enemy would be the perfect match for you; he was truly good looking… but come on, who could beat Cedric? No one, to your eyes. He almost felt insecure about himself as he walked towards you and saw the Ravenclaw’s face closer and closer, if you hadn’t told him a million times how perfect he was while kissing his lips the night before, and as many nights as you could.
He took big yet small steps towards the two of you. Your back was turned to him, so you slightly jumped when a big and heavy arm smoothed over your shoulders. “Ced” you smiled when you saw him, an instant relief drawing your face “You scared me” you said while placing a hand over your chest.
“M’ sorry, love” he replied, trying to make the last word extra clear, his signature smirk on his rosy lips as he looked down at you, but a sharp looking stare at your friend when he looked forward, right into his eyes. “And you are…?”
His tone was nice… but still a little, poisonous, as if his words had a slight glimpse of venom or acid, falling right into his victim’s cheeks, which blushed with embarrassment. His posture immediately changed as he introduced himself to your boyfriend, and you looked at the both of them, confused.
Cedric was big next to him. His large figure and height out stood your potions partner’s with ease as his arm was still around you, and your friend walked away shyly, muttering something about seeing you around, and then cursing to himself as he disappeared into the crowd of students.
You pushed Cedric’s arm back, as you looked at him with frowned brows, your neck slightly going up to look at his whole face.
“What was that about?”
“What was what?” he played dumb. You rolled your eyes.
“Ced…”
“I don’t like him” his voice interrupted you as he crossed his arms over his chest, taking another dominant position, this time to you. “He’s looking for your attention, and he tries too hard”
You noticed the jaw clench as his mouth closed, and you shook your head slightly, squinting your eyes and letting a small smile show from behind your lips.
“Are you jealous?” you asked.
He scoffed, turning his head to the left, as if something interesting was happening towards that direction. You laughed this time.
“Oh my God! You totally are” you took his hands as he rolled his eyes. His body followed yours as your feet took a step back, dragging your boyfriend to you as your back hit the cold wall behind you. Cedric would never admit he was actually jealous, but it felt good to you to know that he was, so he kept it that way just so you could keep smiling. “Why?”
“I told you, I don’t like him. Whenever you are alone, he comes right after you. Like you are his prey or something” his hands played with your fingers before he felt your lips press into his red cheek, you knew how much he loved those kisses.
“Then don’t leave me” you pleaded and whispered to his ear. He blushed at your voice tone as you pulled him by the arm, already taking a new direction to somewhere he didn’t know yet. “I need some help with a few books at the library, will you help me? Maybe I could snatch the jealousy out of your system”
Cedric smiled, he knew exactly what library meetings were.
“Yes, ma’am”

Tumblr media
Cedric believed the best way to approach being more than friends who fool- or approach an actual relationship with the girl he liked, was by keeping you as far away from Fred as he possibly could.
Now, as you lay across your bed, cedric grasping your thighs around his head, you knew exactly how you ended up here.
No one could argue that you spent as much time with Fred as you did Cedric, the only difference between them was that Cedric craved you more. After cedric noticed you taking an interest in Fred yet still fooling around with him-- he noticed something needed to change.
Thats why you're here- on cedric's tongue, screaming his name constantly almost every second.
He tightened your legs around his neck, grasping the soft skin around your thighs softly but firmly. His tongue continued nibbling at your wet cunt, dark eyes constantly looking up at your flushed, tired out face.
The day had started with him dragging you back to his dorm, establishing you weren't allowed to see Fred anymore- only him. He'd had a dirty dream the night before, after seeing how much of a desperate slut you could be for fred, he couldn't resist.
You weren't allowed to stop until cedric couldn't take it anymore. One of his favorite things in the world was your pussy, so the question was would he every really stop?
You'd already came on his tongue twice. The first one he made you ride his face, your wetness immediately gushing down his face by his fast tongue. The second, now he was painfully teasing you by dragging his tongue across your wet folds, praising you as he tastes every inch of you.
"Mm, you jus' taste so good sweetheart", he groaned, licking your juices around his lips.
"Ced- please..", you whined, voice barely stable, "Please just let me come, baby".
"Mhm, wrong, not yet", he grinned at you, smiling softly against your clit. "should've been good then baby, huh?" he cooed, inserting a finger inside you.
" 'M sorry please, please ced!"
"Mhmm i know baby, can't help but wanna see you spill all over again."
Moments after he nods allowing you to finally let go. Tears of pleasure began flowing down your face, a tight knot begging to form pressure in your stomach.
" I jus' want you all to myself baby', he whispered.
"I know I know, all yours only yours", you nodded.

request: hiya, so i'm currently obsessed with Cedric I've been watching Goblet of Fire over and over again. what about a Cedric Diggory x fem!reader. Where a new teacher arrives at Hogwarts with the last name Diggory. (He’s like the youngest professor at Hogwarts). One day the class finished early and one of his students asked about his father and mother. So he tells them the story about his parents. How his father died and his mother was left to raise their child by herself months after his death. And how she died sacrificing her life for her son since she was a muggle born. And as well how legend says that they’re still in the castle but as ghosts, happier now that they have each other in the afterlife
pairing(s): cedric diggory x fem!reader, charles diggory (oc) x mom!reader
a/n: sorry this took so long to get to, this probably isn't exactly what you had in mind but hopefully it still works? thank you for the request! flashbacks will be in italics.
trigger warnings: character death, shitty writing, unedited work, swearing
wc: 1.8k
•─────⋅☾ ☽⋅─────•
Professor Charles Diggory was known around Hogwarts as the kind-eyed History of Magic professor, but more commonly, the offspring of deceased Triwizard champion Cedric Diggory and his girlfriend, Y/N L/N. He was one of the youngest teachers Hogwarts had seen till date, charms genetically inherited from his father, but his wit was his mothers alone. Upon laying eyes on him for the first time, surrounded by other first years in the Great Hall, Professor McGonagall had nearly broken down; for he was a carbon copy of a certain Hufflepuff she had taught years ago. And when Charles returned to Hogwarts aged 21, to apply for the teaching position, she had actually done it: he was older than both of his parents lived to be.
There was comfort in the thought, though, that this orphan had survived. That Y/N’s sacrifice hadn’t been for nothing.
It was a cold winter day and class was nearly finished, when a rather plucky Gryffindor finally summoned up the courage to ask Professor Diggory the story about his parents. “It is historical,” the witch with the scarlet tie reasoned, “Since it was a direct effect of the war, and History is always more interesting when it’s told through stories. No pressure, though.”
Charles sighed, running a hand through his hair- if anyone had caught sight of the back of his head, they would have mistaken him for his father- before speaking, “Fine, I’ll tell you, nosy lot.” The class chuckled, for his tone bore no malice, but quietened quickly as he spoke again.
“My mother, Y/N L/N, was a muggle born witch in Cedric’s year. The two of them met in their first year, but it wasn’t till the fifth that they finally started dating.”
•─────⋅☾ ☽⋅─────•
“Oi, L/N! Wait up!”
You turned, taken aback by the six foot frame running frantically towards you and slowed your step, your books balancing precariously in your arms.
“Yes, Diggory?” you asked, noting the way Cedric appeared to fumble with his words with a raise of your eyebrow. His cheeks pinked darker the longer your eyes stayed on him, and when you threw a glance over his shoulder, you saw a small crowd of his friends gathered in a cluster, both of your names thrown into the mix of the conversation they were having.
“Let me carry your books,” Cedric blurted out, already reaching for them as he spoke, “I’ll walk you to Potions. You do have Potions, right?”
“Yes,” you said, letting him relieve you of your items, “But you have Charms. That’s on the other side of the castle, Flitwick will have your head-”
“Let him,” Cedric cut you off, offering you his free hand before heading to your class. It was a testament to your relationship that the two of you had each other’s schedules memorised, he knew that, but he wasn’t going to ask you out while his friends ogled at the two of you. No, he didn’t want it to seem insincere, even if he was anything but. You had gone from being a stranger to someone he believed was his soulmate, and he wasn’t going to fuck it up.
•─────⋅☾ ☽⋅─────•
“Wow. You look like shit.”
“Way to win a girl’s heart, Ced.”
He laughed, sliding into the seat next to you, getting his own books out. He had spent most of the day searching for you, before Nearly Headless Nick had finally taken pity on the lost Hufflepuff, directing him to the library, where you were frantically cramming for your OWLs next week.
“I don’t even know why you bother studying,” Cedric said, noting the way your hand shook in exhaustion as you scribbled down notes after notes, the dark circles under your eyes etching black holes in his heart, “We all know you’re going to ace every subject. Wouldn’t be surprised if you topped the entire grade.”
“I won’t,” you said with conviction, “Not if I don’t drastically improve my understanding of Herbology in the next five days.”
“I can help with that,” the words were out of Cedric’s mouth before he even knew it, but judging by the way your head snapped up to finally look at him, your tired eyes somewhat filling with relief, it was worth it. “Really? But don’t you have your own OWLs to study for?”
“I do,” he agreed, “But I can’t really study on my own, as you probably know by now. So why don’t we help each other out?”
“Alright,” you responded, nodding your head slowly as you considered it, “But don’t you dare try to distract me, Diggory. These exams are important, and I don’t want to fuck them up.”
“Promise,” Cedric said solemnly, holding a pinky up like you had told him muggles do. You just laughed and swatted his hand away, before the two of you hit the books.
Five long days later, it turned out, you were the one who distracted him. Cedric was just about to walk into his first examination when he heard his name called, and upon turning, found arms thrown around his neck and soft lips on his mouth.
“For good luck,” you had cheekily whispered to him before running off, leaving the poor boy standing dazed in front of the classroom door, one hand touching his tingling lips.
“Well, Mr. Diggory?” McGonagall’s voice cut into the poems of praise he was inwardly writing for you, but she sounded almost amused. “Planning on entering anytime soon?”
•─────⋅☾ ☽⋅─────•
“In my father’s seventh year, as you all know, he was chosen for the Triwizard Championship. His competition was Viktor Krum, Fleur Delacour, and Harry Potter. My father placed second in the first task, after successfully defeating the Swedish Short-Snout dragon. For the second task, it was my mother who was held hostage underwater, something I like to assume is what propelled him to finish first.”
•─────⋅☾ ☽⋅─────•
You were pregnant. It wasn’t something you had expected would happen, but now that you knew, you more than welcomed it. Your only regret was that you found out before Cedric had entered the tournament, maybe the knowledge that it was more than just you who needed him to stay alive would have held him back. Or maybe it wouldn’t have, you’d never know.
At school, you found yourself thrust into newfound popularity. Cedric had always been a social butterfly, having a friend in almost every corner of the castle at all times, but it had never extended so much to you. Everywhere you went, you received a clap on the back and a cheer, but you also had your fair share of jealous girls and guys, wondering what exactly it was that Cedric saw in you. What was curious was that you had barely caught sight of your boyfriend himself, but you reasoned that you’d see enough of him when all this was over.
The summons from Dumbledore was curious, but once he explained what the task was, you found no choice but to consent. Maybe it’d even give you a reason to finally talk to Cedric.
You were underwater for a long time, but it felt like mere seconds before you resurfaced again, Cedric’s hands desperately clinging to your waist as the two of you gasped for breath after breath, until your breathing finally returned to normal. Your hands found his shoulders, and you stayed there for a second, Cedric’s forehead pressing against yours as he asked you if you were okay in quiet, worried whispers. (A picture of the scene would make the cover of the Daily Prophet the next day, but neither of you knew or cared.)
“I’m pregnant,” you whispered into his ear as the two of you sat on the docks again, wrapping your towel around the shivering boy because he had given up his own to someone else. His arm came to wrap around your shoulder and pull you closer, before your words finally registered and he looked at you with wide eyes.
“Are you serious?” he asked, eyes searching yours for any hint of deception or mischievous. When you nodded yes, Cedric meshed his lips with yours, and though the crowd roared, the only thing that mattered was his hand tilting up your chin, and your own resting over his derailing heart.
•─────⋅☾ ☽⋅─────•
“My father,” Charles said, but his voice cracked on the words, glass splintering on the floor, “As you know, died at the hands of Voldemort. It was my mother who was left behind to raise me, and she did the best she could, for the three years following my birth.”
•─────⋅☾ ☽⋅─────•
You weren’t safe anymore. Voldemort had put a price on the head of all muggle-born witches and wizards, and you were one of the last ones to survive. You had fled from city to city, finding refuge in the short moments you shared with your son, the few moments of peace where you could just hold him and shut your eyes, pretending your life wasn’t the nightmare it really was. A part of you knew that when they found him cradled in the hands of a Mudblood witch, they would consider your son poisoned, his magic tarnished. They would spare neither of you.
Currently, you were hiding out in Amos Diggory’s home. Your son, Charles Cedric Diggory, seemed happier with his grandfather than he had in a long while. Watching the two of them together, you felt an odd sensation of peace. An odd feeling of acceptance.
It was why, when the Ministry came calling, ripping the neighbourhood apart, you gave yourself up quietly. You wrote your son a letter explaining everything that had happened, explaining why he had no parents, and entrusted it to Amos to deliver when your boy was old enough. You were silent till the end, even when Umbridge taunted you, asking for any last words, you tipped your chin up defiantly, your mouth sealed shut.
You died quietly, but the silence was deafening.
•─────⋅☾ ☽⋅─────•
“She was executed, along with countless other muggleborns, before Harry Potter finally trumped Voldemort.”
The class was silent, save for the sniffles and sobs of a handful of students, silent tears streaming down the face of the witch who had asked. Charles took a shaky breath to regain composition, his own eyes glistening, before he continued the story.
“Legend has it,” he said, softer now, “That the two of them, Y/N L/N and Cedric Diggory, the brave people who I am proud to call my parents, are still in this castle, but as ghosts. Hidden away somewhere, maybe, no one knows exactly where they are. But a fortunate few have been lucky enough to glimpse a girl walking to class and a boy with a Hufflepuff tie scrambling behind her, her books in his hands. They are happier now, because although they missed out on time while they were alive, they have plenty of it in the afterlife.”

You fished in your bag but loudly cursed when you realized you had forgotten your sweater and your jacket back in the common room. Fred had asked you for a service right before practice, making you almost late and completely forgetting half of your things on the common room chair.
A shiver slipped passed your lips and you wondered how you were going to get back to the castle without dying of cold. You watched as Harry Potter got out of the changing room - all wrapped up in warm layers of clothes, you somehow wished you were in his position.
Until your savior came. His voice broke your thoughts like it always did. The way he pronounced your name made you want to melt like snow exposed to the sun. Lifting your head - you met his grey eyes and like always, it sent shivers down your spine. He was walking straight for the changing rooms and had spotted you there - shuffling through your bag in panic.
"Let me guess, you forgot your sweater?" It was always that friendly banter that made you weak to your knees. He would always have a friendly smirk to give you, always something fun to say.
"I think so." You made a weird face as your eyes went back to the snowy quidditch fields.
"Here." He didn't think twice before handing you his. "I know it's not Gryffindor but I'm sure it will at least keep you warm until you get back inside" Your thoughts were frozen and for a second you thought it was only you and him. He was towering over you, his arm raised towards you with his sweater balled up in his hand. "Plus it's too small for me" He chuckled. "It would look better on you" You had to look away to compose yourself from his words. Only if he knew how much you liked him
But then, you watched as his gaze flickered from you to someone passing behind.
It was like him taking your heart out of your chest and ripping it apart. His eyes sparkled with something more at her sight and a short smile climbed to his lips. You turned your head around and of course, it was her. Heather. She was a Hufflepuff chaser, always first in class and always having something bright and positive to say.
What a sight for sore eyes, brighter than the blue sky
Of course, she had to be prettier than you. Long brown hair braided for Quidditch, with crystal blue eyes. Her positive energy resonated through the hallway and you watched the scene roll before you. You had to painfully watch as his gaze chased after her even when she disappeared into the changing rooms.
She's got you mesmerized, while I die
"It's alright - but thanks." You brought him back to reality this time. Pushing his hand back towards him. "I'll freeze my way back to Hogwarts" You gave out a stiff chuckle and stood up before he could argue.
So you walked back up to the castle - your heart broken into a thousand pieces while your shoulders shook from the cold. Every day you had to be reminded that he loved someone else.
It all started last June, in the last week of class. Professor Trelawny paired them up in divination and ever since he only had eyes for her. She seemed to be perfect. A good sense of humor like you, mixed with the brains and the looks.
Because you knew Cedric and you knew bravery was his most beloved trait. You knew that it wouldn't be long until he asked her out. He had already been debating the idea since September.
And it killed you every single second. Watching him sulk over her - sitting next to her instead of you...
By the next week of December, you had to watch as they walked into the great hall - hand in hand.
Watch as she stands with you, holding your hand
Of course, she would have said yes. It was Cedric Diggory - the heart throb. Everyone liked him, everyone dreamed of him. He was kind, brave. The golden traits mixed into one beautiful being.
Somehow you thought that being his childhood friend would have made you higher up the list. That he would notice your lingering eyes and the way you reacted when he was close.
But you like her better, wish I were Heather
She was wearing his Hufflepuff sweater, the one he had offered you a week earlier. You wished you had accepeted it, not even that - that he would have given you the sweater as a token of his love, not as only helping a friend.
Wish I were Heather
You gave her your sweater
Of course, Cedric spotted you by the Weasley twins, and of course, he wanted to introduce you. Oblivious to how he painfully twisted the knife inside the wound. So he sat in front of you by George, and she sat by him, and you had to watch as he wrapped his arm around her.
put your arm 'round her shoulder, now I'm getting colder
So instead of holding in the pain, and pretending like everything was alright - you excused yourself, pretending you had finished your lunch early or simply wasn't hungry. Mumbling something about having extra homework to be done before class.
Your feet flew up to the hidden corner of Hogwarts only you and Cedric knew.
Bring the pieces back with soft laughter and dumb pranks.
You hated the way this made you drift away from him.
His presence seemed to get further as she stole every piece. She made him drift away from you like a deadly river that was so beautiful you wouldn't guess that stepping in it would drag you miles away, making you drown.
Was that what she was doing? Making him drown in her presence as the tied of her river dragged him further and further from you?
"Hey Y/n/n" George broke your thoughts, snapping his fingers in front of your eyes.
"S- sorry-" you blinked again, your eyes falling to the work on your lap.
"I asked you what you knew about Disneyland" He pointed to the paper; Muggle studies.
"I've been there once." You replied, your tone slightly off as the thoughts of Cedric tried to grab your train of thoughts again.
"And?" George paused and watched you swallow as you blankly stared at a spot on the carpet. "Y/n/n" He sighed and shuffled closer to you - placing a hand on your shoulder to catch your attention again. "Cedric's a dumb-dumb" He whispered. "He's dumb to have chosen her instead of you, and dumb to have abandoned you after they started dating."
You took a long breath in and out, looking back down to the homework on your lap.
George looked at the clock and clicked his tongue "Let's go to quidditch practice, it will cheer you up." He grinned and stood up, making you follow him.
Rain was pouring down the freshly cut lawn of the quidditch pitch and you looked as the house you were playing against started walking out.
Of course, practice had to be against Hufflepuff...
To your surprise, Heather wasn't glued to Cedric as they walked out - and both of their gazes seemed to be lost elsewhere.
Did they fight?
Something in the back of your mind was asking. Cedric looked pretty mad, and by the way he was guiding his team and giving orders you could tell he was.
From the other side of the pitch, Heather pointed a deadly glance at you. The rain was already bringing shivers, but her stare was even worst and it made you wonder what in the world happened.
Fred was happily walking to the pitch with his broom in hand. He walked to you with a grin from ear to ear.
"I've got something to tell you." He sang along and you spotted Geogre running towards the two of you.
"What's up?" You matched their grins
"There's a rumor."
"A very interesting rumor" George chimed from behind his twin.
"Cedric and Heather had a fight."
"A fight?" They got your attention. "About what?"
"2 rumors: That she cheated on him with Jamie Lammerson - they've been awfully close lately."
"Second rumor is that she did it because he's been acting more distant lately." Fred continued.
"That's he's been acting distracted." George finished.
"Distracted? By what?"
The twins looked at each other like they knew the biggest part of the puzzle that you were apparently clueless off.
"You!"
"Me?" You shook your head. "Impossible." You laughed, a bittersweet laugh by how hopeful they were trying to make you.
"Not as impossible as you think," They said in unison before making their way further the quidditch pitch, leaving you stranded with your own thoughts.
~
This time you hadn't made the mistake of forgetting your sweater, and Cedric noticed.
He noticed?
"I'm glad you brought your sweater today" He smirked. A smirk he hadn't given you in weeks.
What the heck was he doing talking to you? Shouldn't he be with Heather, laughing about a dumb joke she made?
You blinked. "Yeah."
Him, on the other hand, he had completely forgotten his. He was soaked with the rain that had started pouring down in the middle of the game, his wet hair dripping onto his shoulder and framing his handsome face.
"But you forgot yours." You noticed.
"I did." He scrunched up his face and twisted a part of his shirt to drench the water in a poor attempt to dry it.
Somehow it wasn't awkward. Even if he had spent weeks without talking to you, your friendship hadn't been broken.
Your smile lingered and you noticed that his stare did too. Weird.
Were the twins right?
Right until Heather stepped out of the changing room. Her wet hair was tied up in a bun as she was all wrapped in dry clothes.
Suddenly, the glim in his eyes died down and he cleared his throat - giving you a stiff nod before following her out and back up to the castle. You heard his words echo from a distance - something about needing to talk about their fight...
It made you frown a bit. The way his eyes saddened when he had to walk away... It made you wonder if everything was alright with him.
But you were on duty to clean the brooms.
The rain had made your job easier. It had partially removed the dirt from the collections of nimbus and cheap school brooms. You didn't mind the work and the thundering rain made relaxing music as you worked.
You grabbed your raincoat, securing the hood before darting across the pitch and slipping in between the tall bleachers and walking along the field downhill towards the crooked storage shed, half hidden with overgrown trees and bushes.
So it was true, Heather was cheating on Cedric - with who you expected to be Jamie.
Cedric wore his heart on his sleeve while she was doing all this behind his back...
"You made up!?" Jamie's voice became a bit angrier. "Heather I thought you were ending this? I thought you said he became interested in what's her name again?"
Was he talking about you? You munched at your lip in anxiety as the conversation went on.
The rain was still harshly falling against your raincoat, but you were frozen in place. It felt impossible to move with what you were overhearing.
"Y/n. She's one of the Gryffindor chasers. The one who broke your nose last game?"
"Oh, her. Aren't they like best friends of something?"
"Kind of." She mumbled - she seemed angry.
Jamie laughed at her reaction. "She's definitely a threat. I thought they were together before the two of you were a thing."
What you didn't see was Heather shooting daggers with her stare.
"Will you shut up?" She sounded mean, nothing like the facade she wore every day.
"Why? You dragged me here remember?" Jamie bickered back and you could sense tension in their words. This made you realize that one of them might be storming out at any moment now.
You turned back, making your way back up the small field leading up to the pitch. Walking through the bleachers again and back inside the shed.
What the fuck?
~
The next day that overheard conversation was eating you whole. Even Professor Lupin noticed the way you drifted away in Defense of the dark arts.
"Ask her" they both pointed to you.
"Yeah" You nodded, not being able to help the small smile that bloomed on your lips at the sight of him. "What's up?"
"I wanted to talk to you." He looked behind your shoulder to make sure the twins had continued their way. "Somewhere quieter." He smiled and you almost thought he was blushing.
"Was" He corrected you. "She was"
You blinked, your breath catching in the back of your throat as the words registered.
"What?"
"We broke up." You looked to the side as you tried to process the information.
Was that why he was acting all happy when he asked you to follow him here in the first place?
"But I thought?"
He shook his head.
"I told her it was over yesterday. We got into another fight because she complained about the fact that I was talking to you after practice." He took a step closer to you. "But she also made me realize that it wasn't her I liked" He looked down to his feet, and you could feel your heart leaping in your chest.
"I've heard things... about um- the way you might feel too. But- if it's not true, I'm not going to ask you to feel the same-" He sighed through his nose and suddenly your whole world lit up again. "But I want you to know."
"I'minlovewithyou" you muttered, barely audible.
He thought he had heard it but wasn't sure.
"What did you say?" He raised his gaze to your eyes, a small smirk across his lips.
"I'm in love with you" You said again, this time clear and loud enough.
You didn't think twice before placing your hand around his neck and dragging his face closer to yours. You closed the gap between your lips faster than you could say Quidditch.
The kiss took him by surprise, but when it registered he melted into it. But the situation caught up with you, and soon enough the kiss became clouded by giggles.
"I love you too."

i was wondering if i could get cedric diggory x fem!ravenclaw!reader + basically just mutual pining until they smell eachother in their amortetia potions or sum?
tysm ❤️❤️
Cedric Diggory was not in love with you. He was perfect, and beautiful, and altogether far too good for average, boring old you. That's what you told yourself when he caught your eye across the classroom, or when his hand lingered on yours far longer than it needed to, or when his cheeks were dusted with a rosy pink when there was no one else around.
No, Cedric Diggory couldn't be in love with you. He couldn't be in love with you because you were in love with him.
You trudged into the potions classroom, prepared for the utter embarrassment Amortentia was going to bring you. The potion smelled of whatever you were attracted to, which in your case was cinnamon, firewood, and chocolate - Cedric. Cedric, who happened to be your partner in potions.
"I want you to describe to your partners what you smell," drawled Snape. "I don't care if it's embarrassing, I don't care if you think it's pointless, it's in the curriculum so you're going to do it."
Grumbles sounded around the classroom, fading into nervous chatter as students embarrassed themselves publicly.
"I'll go first," Cedric offered kindly. He took a deep whiff of the potion. "I smell..." He took another whiff. "It's like a mix of trees, fruit, and flowers." He smiled at you. "Your turn."
You were in shock. The scent he described was exactly the way your perfume smelled. You couldn't deny it anymore. Cedric Diggory was in love with you.
You shook off the thought and smelled the potion. "Cinnamon, firewood, and chocolate." Just as you had expected.
Cedric tilted his head with a confused smile. "That kinda sounds like the way I smell." Then it dawned on him. "Oh."
You smiled shyly. "Yeah..."
Cedric grinned. "I guess I kinda gave myself away too. I basically just smelled your perfume."
You giggled. "So..."
"Do you wanna go to Hogsmeade with me?" Cedric can't stop smiling, and neither can you.
"I would love to."
