I know everyone in one piece tends to look exactly the same but smaller in their childhood but I feel like there's symbolic significance (re: how he Sees the world as a former Celestial Dragon) to Doflamingo wearing the exact same pair of very distinctive sunglasses from childhood into adulthood, & his eyes being constantly obscured even if he removes them. Especially since Rosinante (who found good in the world in places that had been unavailable to him as a Celestial Dragon) wore his bangs obscuring his eyes in childhood, but kept them clear of his eyes as an adult. I just think that's interesting.
