i honestly think the ghoul believes lucy is just full of shit until she gives him those vials. like he does not believe she is genuinely that good of a person because no one is that good of a person anymore, and because she is the product of vault-tec middle-management. he is constantly expecting her to show her "true colors" (hence "there you are, you little killer" after she bites off his finger) until that moment when she chooses to help him despite the fact that he's done nothing to deserve her kindness. COMPELS ME!!!!

Hey Paradox and Shards, what do you guys think of the situation?

They’re a little confused but they got the spirit! (They really don’t…)

The Prime boys are still in the middle of their story, so being in a void full of others who look like them but aren’t is not the funnest thing. To them, everyone else just isn’t real or is out to secretly betray them (ahem. Nine) 😔.

So their main goal is 1) getting out 2) putting together the paradox prism shards (which is also why shards didn’t match with paradox, as it gave away the name of what they’re searching for)
