Everything was going well which should have been the first clue.

Danny moved to Gotham (Vlad insisted he pay for it and he'd been doing better so he let him have it) he's going to Gotham Academy, he was visiting his old haunt so often people thought Phantom never left! turns out if a ghost is strong enough they can teleport to their haunt and he is strong! even if he never quite got the hang of teleportation aside from returning to his haunt.

Dumb fucking bitch hours being 24/7 on soldier floor pt3

Genesis, practicing with a lightning materia, has managed to overload the grit plunging the entire building into darkness for multiple hours. (It included multiple people breaking down Lazards door, not only the usual coffee machine theft but also the microwave, Genesis complaining that with a fire materia he could be a light source and Zack actually trying that and almost lighting the building on fire in addition to the power outage)

Lazard has given Genesis back the fire materia, because they already have multiple sprinklers in case of fire and are therefore more equipped to handle -both accidentally or purposeful- arson.

Now that both coffee machine and microwave are missing Lazard is no longer to heat up his pre made coffee. Lazard is not amused.

He has given Angeal the task of buying a new one. The first class Soldier is greatly agonizing over the prospect off spending money.

Sephiroth has taken to befriending the cats that Zack keeps dropping off in Lazards office. Sephiroth has started to name them.

Zack has meanwhile turned getting coffee for the entire floor into his daily workout, going to furthest coffee shop for maximum efficiency. That has the consequence of the coffee being somewhat cold upon arriving at Lazard.
