I JUST MET DAVID KAUFMAN!!

here's everything we talked about 😋

-David Kaufman said he got a call from someone saying they were considering Tom Holland as Danny and BILLIE EILISH as Sam in a live action remake. I told him I preferred the story being expanded in the recent graphic novels, he didn't exactly agree upright but he implied it.

-In response to me asking if he preferred the darker themes in Danny Phantom like in The Ultimate Enemy he said he wouldn't mind a season 4 of the show with a bit older Danny that explores more mature themes

-He said something along the lines of "If ghosts aren't dead people what are they??" when I brought up Butch Hartman's retcon of that.

-I didn't talk to him about Super Danny TOO much but he said he remembered the Cameo I asked for.

-I asked him to say something in the Danny voice and he made a comment about how Sam would be a bit mad at him for taking a picture with a bunch of girls. (He did not mean it in a creepy way before you get the wrong idea. He was saying that as the character.)

-Overall he was very very sweet and I had a great time!

hey danny phandom. i gotta tell you about this. you need to hear about it. because what are the odds my two longest-lasting hyperfixations collide like this.

JRWI is an absurdly powerful D&D podcast starring Slimecicle, BizlyChannel, GrizzlyPlays, and Condifiction. They are currently running two TTRPGs: Riptide, which is set in a pirate-themed ocean world called Mana and run in D&D 5E, and Prime Defenders, a futuristic teen superhero campaign set in the world of Prime and run in Mutants & Masterminds. Riptide is their free campaign (located here), and Prime Defenders is their Patreon-exclusive campaign.

Why am I telling you this? Because Prime Defenders features a character named William Wisp, played by Charlie Slimecicle, who was loosely inspired by Danny Phantom. William’s hero name is the Wisperer, and he has ghost powers granted to him by the fact that he fell off a cliff and fucking died at the ripe age of 16 and because the will-o’-the-wisps have taken a liking to him. He even has a white-haired ghost form that he can switch into, even if he doesn’t like to do so.

And I’m also telling you this because who did the Game Master, BizlyChannel, call up for the season 2 finale to do a speech for William during his lowest point yet? David Kaufman himself. As Danny fucking Phantom.

I'm literally friends with Danny himself. The email already tells it because, yes, that is the official email from his website, directly from him himself. I thought I'd seen him in the Mega Man style, and I have, as I've seen him five times in a row.

It’s an AU where Tammie (Tamera) & Tommy/Tom (Thomas) have a relationship similar to Bart and Lisa’s.

I want them to sound like Colleen O'Shaughnessey (Jazz) and David Kaufman (Danny).

They’re 16 year old twins, Tammie was born first.

Tammie is Dev’s babysitter and Tom is Hazel’s. Tammie decides to be a babysitter to fund her passion and Tom does it to upstage her or for extra cash 🍔.

Tom makes fun of Tammie for writing Crash Nebula vs Crimson Chin fanfiction. Tammie points out that he is obsessed with ghosts (Tom has an Ember McLain shirt 🔥 🎶 ).

Dev has a crush on Tammie. He tries to fund her writing career but she declines as she wants to earn everything the right way and “rub Tom’s nose in it.”

Jimmy Olsen

James ‘Jimmy’ Olsen, Jr. was a cub reporter and photographer for the Daily Planet where he worked alongside Lois Lane and Clark Kent.  Recognizing Jimmy’s excellent skills as a photographer, Lois quickly snagged Olsen as her exclusive cameraman taking him along on many a scoop.  

When Superman had been held captive by The Parasite, Jimmy was able to triangulate Superman’s whereabouts by tracking The Parasite’s flight patterns between feeding on the hero’s powers.  Jimmy snuck into the warehouse where Superman was held and helped to release him.  Superman was ultimately able to defeat The Parasite and credited Jimmy with saving his life.  

Thereafter, Jimmy shared an adventure alongside Superman’s young cousin Supergirl.  The two were able to thwart a plot by Granny Goodness that would have caused a comet strike, eradicating all life on earth.   

Some time later, Angela Chen took a quote Jimmy offered out of context and ran a story about how Jimmy was Superman’s 'number one pal.'  Although Jimmy bashfully enjoyed the attention this offered him, it also put him in peril and the villainous Metallo ended up using him as bait to draw out Superman into a confrontation.  Fortunately, Superman was able to prevail in his battle against Metallo.  Afterward, he gave Jimmy a special watch that could emit a high-pitched signal that only Superman could hear.  Jimmy could use this watch if he was ever in trouble and needed the assistance of his ‘number one pal.’  

Actor David Kaufman provided the voice for Jimmy Olson, with the intrepid youngster first appearing in the second episode of the first season of Superman: The Animated Series, ‘The Last Son of Krypton Part II.’
