Hey, anyone else think it's super duper suspicious that the Reverend Parents kicked off their abominable baby scheme pretty much simultaneously to Gideon Nav, key to the Tomb, landing on the Ninth? Gideon's more than a year but less than two years older than Harrow. So give it nine months gestation, a few months for prep and planning, and Gideon's arrival lands at exactly the place on the timeline you'd look for an inciting event to the creche massacre

And like, the Revs didn't seem shocked when they heard Harrow had opened the Tomb. They listened solemnly to Gideon spill the beans and then quietly shuffled themselves off the mortal coil, intending to take their pint sized single-serving generation with them. As far as we know they never pressured Harrow to continue the Ninth, either. They checked to make sure she was a powerful necromancer, and that was it. It's almost like they'd been waiting for this.

It's just a hell of a lot of coincidences piling up. Makes me wonder what they knew, who they'd been talking to. How much didn't they tell Harrow?

I think there's something to be said for fanfiction that loves canon in a way that’s rude. Like thank you for this wonderful thematic tragedy made out of this character’s entire arc ending in death, it was emotionally and intellectually moving, but also fuck you fuck you fuck you they live, this time and every time they live, they never died, their flaws are not their undoing, actually they have no flaws, actually they save everyone, actually who cares about a story, any story, where this one dies, actually i cared about that story so much i made a new one, actually i cared so much i unmade the old one, you gave me morals and i left them for the mortal, but they’re mine now and i will never let them die, actually thank you, actually fuck you, strongly worded letter to follow

iwtv speculation post, i want the tale to seduce me so i try not to get too attached to certain theories, and if daniel/armand only happens in the present that won't bother me, but i actually do think more than ever that devil's minion happened in the past. daniel talks again about how little of the 70s he remembers. louis said "this boy must survive the night" so i think armand was like alright well louis only said for the night so i'm gonna stalk him for a while to figure out why louis finds him so fascinating and then i'll kill him. but then. well. the devil gets minioned!

DAMN. Just finished chapter 17 of Firefight and whooh. I cannot articulate how excited and thrilled I am for this new direction. I love your Death Wish fic and i'll be absolutely damned if I don't continue to love this one with just as much, if not more, fervor. You're an incredible writer. You immerse me in the environments, the sensations, the inner workings, and the emotions of these characters while your words seep both their souls and yours. I really just wanted to tell you how enjoyed your writing is. I look forward to each update with patience and support, and if you chose to end it, life got in the way, or any other reason, I would continue to support you as a writer and artist while repeatedly reading your works. Death Wish is the length of a decent novel and I've reread it about 4 times, each experience unique and loved because there's always something new and poignant to find in your writing. To your Season 7 finale relationship set up post I would also add that another prong in the "Eddie's Big Sexuality Debate" is Lou stating, apropos of nothing, that it was initially pitched to him as Tommy/Eddie and the only reason it was switched was cos they couldn't get Nat back. It says to me, or at least underscores what the canon itself and actual official interviews are saying- Eddie's sexuality was on the table in the writers room. They didn't change direction, they had to take a detour!

Good point! They would not have discussed having Eddie come out if they believed that there wasn't evidence in the show to support his being a queer character. This proves that a queer reading of Eddie is not only far from "delusional" (as I've seen some folks try to claim), but may also still be on the table. I think these last 2 episodes should tell us a lot, especially regarding that construction on Sunset.
