I Have Something For You (Eobard Thawne X Reader)
A/N: Helloooooo. Here's a little one-shot that didn't make it into More Than He Bargained For that I thought you would all enjoy!
---------------------------------
"I have to go out of town for a couple of days," Eobard reluctantly informed you, his expression softening as he looked down at your pouting face. "What? Why?" you protested, your eyes searching his for an explanation.
Eobard couldn't resist the charm of your pout; it made him feel guilty about leaving you. A warm smile graced his lips as he reassured you, "I have to do this thing for work, but I'll be back before you know it."
"Impossible," you countered, pressing a quick, affectionate kiss on his lips before snuggling closer to him. "I always hate when you aren't here."
He sighed, his gaze fixed on you. He wished he could freeze this moment, capture it in eternity. You and him…happy, lovers. You made the stagnant existence in this time period bearable. "Why can't you take me with you?" you asked, breaking him out of his thoughts.
"You know I can't," he replied, his voice filled with a touch of regret.
You groaned in response, not happy but acceptingly. "Alright."
A comfortable silence enveloped the room as the television droned on in the background, providing background noise with its latest stock market analysis.
"I have something for you," Eobard suddenly broke the silence, his voice infused with anticipation.
Your eyes lit up, and you sat up eagerly, a smile tugging at your lips. "Oh? What is it?"
"We have to go outside, though," he teased, pressing a tender kiss on your lips. "Meet me outside," he said, his voice carrying a hint of excitement.
You giggled as you watched him almost trip on his way to your shared bedroom, his playful smile and wink leaving you with a sense of curiosity. Grabbing your shoes, you headed outside to join him.
Eobard's house was a cozy haven, nestled alongside the lake bordering Central City. The backyard was a sight to behold, with towering, lush trees adorned with delicate jar lights. A beautiful garden with a meandering stone path guided you towards the shimmering lake. From this vantage point, you could also see the dazzling cityscape, adding to the enchantment of your little piece of heaven.
"It's beautiful."
You turned around and found Eobard standing beside you, a gentle smile playing on his lips. Your heart fluttered at the sight of him. "It is," you replied, unable to contain your joy.
"Oh, I wasn't talking about the view," he sweetly retorted, his gaze filled with affection.
You couldn't help but grin, feeling the warmth spread across your cheeks.
"Before I go, I wanted to give you something, but first, I have to ask you something," Eobard began, his voice laced with nerves.
Curiosity ignited within you. "Okay," you responded, your voice soft and filled with anticipation.
He took a deep breath, his hand trembling slightly as it ran through his hair. "Is everything okay?" you asked, concern creeping into your voice.
"Yes! Yes, I just—" he stammered, his eyes meeting yours before he finally gathered his composure. Stepping forward, his voice regained strength. "Will you marry me?"
You stood frozen, unable to process the question at first.
Did he just...?
Oh my goodness..
He just asked me to marry him
"Yes, of course!" you squealed with delight as he kissed you passionately, sealing the moment. As you pulled apart, your eyes glanced down and spotted a dazzling diamond ring with your beloved gemstone nestled in the center.
Overwhelmed with joy, you looked up at him and said, "I love you."
A radiant smile graced his face as he replied, "I love you too."

Well, the best work, or writing in this case, is done in collaboration with others amirite? The prev ask responding to my ask got my gears turnin and taking a break from writing by writing helps my creative juices flowin
When reader starts out they may have had their fair share of run ins with Catwoman, Harley, and Poison Ivy in their own way. But that was when they were a small fry, certainly not noticeable to their old family much less the femme fatales of Gotham.
It isn’t till they begin to rise from the dredges of Gotham that the three begin to take notice.
For Selena Kyle, she’s an opportunist at heart. She’s not wholly evil nor is she wholly good. At the end of the day she just wants to bathe in the lap of luxury with her feline friends and if that means introducing herself to reader, the hottest thing since sliced bread, and getting in their good graces then so be it.
What she didn’t expect was recognizing that pretty voice from months ago when some goodie two-shoes stopped her from stealing a diamond ring from Cairo. Sure, it was going to be auctioned for some stupid thing like newly paved streets or whatever but Selena could care less.
She was a rooftop type of gal anyway.
At the end of the day though, Ms. Kyle is a professional, that means bygones can be bygones for the right price.
What she doesn’t expect is just how profitable it is to take down the baddies. After all, the Gotham black market alone brings in millions- billions of dollars every year through illicit goods. Untold wealth stolen from museums and the wealthy sold to the highest bidder, reader sometimes playing the role of a seller, sometimes the role of a buyer.
But always coming out on top.
It’s a stroke of genius too, when reader hires Selena for a job, at first it makes sense. You want a painting stolen from some corrupt politician? Get Catwoman to do it. What truly confused her though is why you wanted her to put back the damn thing in the basement of the guys place a week later.
Turns out, art insurance companies are more vicious than one might think, and art insurance fraud can get you a lifetime in prison… and forfeiture of all your assets.
Assets you could happily sweep up on the dime now that that pesky obstacle was out of the way.
For Selena you aren’t just an adorable kitten flaring out her claws for the first time, but a beautiful independent woman just like her. And ladies ought to stay together in a town like Gotham, right?
At least, that’s what she’s telling herself…
Harley is much quicker to warm up to reader. She sees herself so much in the up and coming super villain. How many times has she gone to Arkham or sacrificed some part of herself for the Joker? How many times as she tried to appease the sociopath only to be ignored or even worse, have her efforts thrown into her face?
Speaking of faces, thing about being a brilliant psychologist means that she can be good with recognizing faces. She certainly recognized yours ages ago when the tabloids talked about a Wayne kid that left the nest early, paparazzi all vying to get a shot or two of the illusive member of the dynasty.
You were a rich kid, but seeing you now certainly could convince anyone otherwise. Harley sees that fire in your eyes, the emptiness and the hurt she long ago overcame to be her own woman in this town.
It runs through her head like a list when she analyzes reader’s movement. Symptoms of childhood neglect vary, naturally, but reader has the tell tale distrust in strangers and aversion to affection that has Harley’s mind buzzing with theories and thoughts, lots of thoughts.
It’s interesting to see when teaming up with reader to spread some chaos, the idea of using controlled unrest in rich neighborhoods to lower housing costs brilliant in her mind. Plus, rich suckers get to suck so why not?
Seeing reader like that just sparks something fierce in her. Maybe it’s a remnant of her more humane side, of the old doctor and psychologist, but she’s determined to be by your side like it or not.
You’re partners now, Puddin. You pinkie swore when teaming up so there’s no stopping now!
Pamela is honestly a whole lot harder to warm to reader. She’s a solo act for the most part, an antisocial eco terrorist that barely has friends outside of Harley and … Selena, but even the jury’s out on that one sometimes.
Her connection with nature makes her jaded with the vile parasites that walk about the street, the news of a new crime lord making the woman roll her eyes dismissively. New crime in Gotham? Please, be for real.
It’s only when Harley comes barreling into her greenhouse babbling on and on about reader that Pamela realizes maybe she ought to take a second look.
Who knew doing “good” as you put it, would involve her world so much. The plan was simple, destroy a few gas stations and car parks, break into some oil or gas executive event and make owning a car in Gotham all the more painful.
Growing pains according to reader.
Then with all the slush funds reader has, fund and develop a robust subway and bus system. Less cars, less subsidies, less pollution.
It was simply a coincidence that the reader had started a company specializing in public transport mere weeks ago, promise! And what’s more, building these tunnels meant that there’d be a perfect opportunity to carve out secret bases, paths, and caches all around the city. And as the system spread, making travel more green and efficient, so would your influence.
If you kept your thinking like that then… just maybe, Pamela might stick around more (Oh who is she kidding, the moment Harley was down for you Pamela would undoubtedly be there for her friend and you lol)

All I Need Chapter 4
Chapter 3 here
Warnings: This chapter has a six-month time jump.
******
The next six months went by in a blur.  You were grateful for Principal Nezu, who allowed you to take off as much time as you needed.  "You spend so much time taking care of others' needs, Y/N, it's time for you to care for yourself," he had said to you when you called him one evening not too long after Mirai's funeral.  You constantly had Shouta, Toshinori, Hizashi, and Nemuri calling or texting you to check up on you.  Even through your sadness and grief, you couldn't help but feel your heart swell at the kindness of your friends.
During the beginning of your time off, you took the opportunity to pack everything up in the home you shared with Mirai. There were too many memories attached to that house; you couldn't bear the thought of continuing to live there.  One night, while you were packing up Mirai's belongings, you came across a small box in one of his dresser drawers.  Curious, you opened the box; it contained a stunning diamond ring.  He was planning on proposing to you.  You had been doing relatively well with not crying up until that point, but seeing that ring opened up the floodgates for you, and you just laid on the floor and sobbed while clutching the box in your hand.
After everything was packed up, you put the house up on the market, and eventually sold it.  While you were wondering where you would move to, Principal Nezu must have been reading your mind, and offered you an apartment in the teachers' dorms at Heights Alliance.  You graciously accepted.  That would make your commute to the school much nicer, and you would be close by to your friends and the students if they needed anything.  Since the dorms were much smaller than the whole house you were accustomed to, you put most of your belongings in a storage unit, and only brought the essentials with you to your new dorm.
You pulled up to the campus the night you were moving in, and Shouta and Hizashi were standing outside waiting for you.  They weren't in their pro-hero gear that evening.  Shouta was dressed in a long sleeve black v-neck shirt, black slacks, and black shoes, with his hair in a low messy bun.  Hizashi also had his hair down in a low bun, and was wearing a white tee shirt, jeans, and sneakers.  You were so used to usually seeing them in their hero outfits.
"We're here to help you bring your stuff inside, girl!  Welcome to your new home," Hizashi exclaimed, and you couldn't help but genuinely smile for the first time in a long time.  Your friends were the best.  Shouta then spoke up, "your room is actually right next door to mine."  You don't know what just happened, but you felt your heart skip a beat at that statement and felt a slight blush creeping up on your cheeks.  You had no idea why you had that reaction.  Then you realized, it was probably because out of all your friends, Shouta had been the most supportive, checking in on you every single day.  That was all.
"You ready, m'lady?" Hizashi asked.  You couldn't help but smile again, "yes, sir!"  They then both helped you get your belongings out of your vehicle, and take them to your new room.  Between the three of you, it only took about two hours to get everything inside and unpacked.  You offered to order take out for the three of you in thanks, but they both politely declined, just stating that they were happy to help.  "I have papers to grade anyway, so I actually have to get going," Hizashi said.  You gave him a tight hug, and thanked him again for his help.
It was then just you and Shouta left in your dorm, and you invited him to sit on your couch.  "Are you sure you don't want me to order us some food?  I would make something, but I still have to go grocery shopping," you asked Shouta.  "It's really okay, Y/N.  Like we said, we were just happy to help."  He looked at you thoughtfully for a moment, "how are you really doing?"  You looked up at him, "I have my good days and my bad days.  I didn't tell you this, but I found an engagement ring in his belongings while I was packing.  That was a particularly bad day."  Shouta just looked down, looking like he was unsure of what to say to that.
You continued, "but I think a lot about what Mirio said that day at the hospital, and I've kept that with me every day since.  Mirai really would want me to smile and be happy.  Even though I miss him every day, I'm really going to try and let that stay with me."  Shouta gently smiled at you in response, "I think that's great, Y/N.  You know you always have a shoulder to lean on if you are having a bad day."  He then gently squeezed your hand, and it happened again; you felt your heart skip a beat, and felt yourself blushing.  Again, you chalked it up to just him being a good friend, that's it.  It's only been six months since Mirai passed; your heart still belonged to him.
"Well, I better get going, as well.  I also have papers to grade," Shouta said as he stood up.  "But you know I'm right next door, and I'm here for whatever you need."  "I appreciate everything you, and everyone else, has done for me, Shouta," you said to him with a smile.  He smiled gently at you in response, and in non-typical Shouta fashion, outstretched his arms, inviting you in for a hug.  You graciously accepted his hug, and felt the same way again.  The warmth of his body, his scent, the way his arms held you...you felt like melting.  Before that could happen, you gently pulled away from the hug, thanking Shouta again.  "Goodnight, Y/N," Shouta said softly, and with that, he was out the door.  After he closed the door, you leaned your back against it, and asked yourself out loud, "what in the world was that about?"

To be continued!

Original poem- Willow's Wrath
The lake was glistening with moon-milk,
Lilies floated on water-glass,
Their elegant roots a-swaying
As green and as placid as glass.
It was there where she met Mr. Tripthorne,
Sweet Annemarie, with rose-budded cheeks-
She glanced him once, and from then on,
He was all she could think of for weeks.
And when he returned to the moon-lake,
The lilies she wove in her hair-
He thought he glimpsed a nymph of old
Long-limbed, golden, and fair.
Tripthorne stood, enchanted by moonlight,
Dazzled, bewitched by this dryad,
Annemarie in turn gazed his way, flustered,
Her blue eyes rivaled those of a naiad.
He asked her, “Miss, what shall I call you?”
She replied, “Sir, my name’s Annemarie-
If you desire to meet me once more,
Come at twilight to yon willow tree.”
And so Tripthorne made her a promise,
Clasping her hand to his breast,
And dutifully, he waited til the following night,
Faithful, by love, to her request.
Indeed, she was there, framed by branches,
Lily-woven locks flowing past limber limbs,
He’d never felt his heart so impassioned,
As she smiled and beckoned to him.
After sunset, his lips brushed her cheekbone,
Under moonlight, her lips locked against his,
Under starlight, his arms clutched her waistline,
Under sunlight, she said to him this-
“Good day to you, Mr. Tripthorne,”
And turned to leave, but twas he who said,
“Annemarie, it is I who love you,
And by next week, we shall be wed.”
The following week there were church bells,
And vows and ceremony and lace,
Annemarie, all the while, apprehensive-
Only thrice before had she seen this man’s face.
At first, there was bliss, and nothing but bliss
Of the pomegranate nights they shared,
She didn’t know his first name and he didn’t know her last,
But in those days, neither one of them cared.
But alas, time would pass as it always does,
She saw him as frigid and cold,
And viewed through his eyes, she was never satisfied
By him, though he bought her jewels and gold.
Yes indeed, their union was torture,
When they dined, they had nothing to say,
Oft hadn’t they bed since right after they wed,
So it was, night by night, day by day.
She languished and sighed, and he wanted to die
Woe be upon that night at the lake!
The lilies, the lovers, the light of the moon-
Not a blessing, but a cruel curse of fate!
One day, Tripthorne went to the market,
A fair sight did his eyes behold-
Not a willow-nymph maiden, but a society lass,
Her hands adorned with rings of gold.
He knew that he should walk away,
That what he felt wasn’t right nor fair,
But fate must have brought them together, he thought,
And how enchanting was her golden hair!
He asked her, “Miss, have you been married?”
She said, “I have not, sir, why?”
With the last dying light of regret in his heart,
He smiled and said, “neither have I.”
Said he, “madam, my name is Tripthorne,”
Said she, “sir, my name’s Josephine.”
Her eyes, how they sparkled, like diamonds
Set in raiment worn by the Queen.
Josephine, in his thoughts as he walked home,
Josephine, not the old willow-tree,
Josephine, with her jewels and her golden hair,
Not a single inkling spared for Annemarie.
And so oft he returned to the market;
Their meetings transformed to a tryst,
They fled every night to the churchyard,
Their passions obscured by moon-mist.
How supple her hands were, how graceful!
How deep were her sighs, how serene!
How more precious than diamonds were the pleasures
Bestowed by the fair Josephine!
One fateful day, Annemarie told him,
“I’ve received word my mother is ill,
I’m visiting her in the country,
To relieve her of sickness and chills.”
Alas, Tripthorne was quite unaware
No truth resided in what she’d said
For Annemarie had no such mother-
The fact was, for years, she’d been dead.
So he sent her off to the country,
Where all was yet tranquil and green,
And the moment she’d left, he took out a pen,
And wrote to his dear Josephine.
“Dearest love, I declare in earnest,
That I cannot tell when we shall wed,
But let’s not lie in the gloom of the churchyard-
Let us trade it for the comforts of my bed.”
Josephine arrived soon, in a day’s time-
Rosy-red, and unshrouded by mist
Tripthorne welcomed her, heart beating madly
And greeted her with a deep kiss.
Said he, “love, you are radiant this evening,
The sun has set, and the night has begun-
How I will treasure our delight
Once you and I become one.”
Said she, “so at last, you speak of marriage!”
For tonight, I shall answer your plea-
At last, we bring an end to this lovers’ game-
As I stand before your bended knee!”
Said he, “I’ve said soon, and again I say soon-
For my darling, you must understand,
I hardly have but a cent to my name,
So I cannot yet ask for your hand.”
Josephine answered, “why, my beloved,
Your wealth does not matter to me-
Let us run far away, to some distant shore
To a small, lonely cottage on the sea.”
Yet that night, they made love on the mattress,
Awash in the light of the stars,
And yet, so sunk in their intimate bliss,
Neither noticed the door was ajar.
It was late at night when the wind whistled,
The sheets over their bodies began to billow,
From the window-frame came the dreadful scratching
Of ten thousand claw-branches of willow.
Vines snaked around the bedposts,
Roots erupted from under the floors,
The lovers watched in horrified silence,
At the creaking, opening door-
And then She was there in the doorway!
Towering, glowering, green!
Her white-flame eyes burned like scorned moonlight,
As she surveyed Tripthorne and Josephine-
“Shame on ye, the wretched unfaithful!”
Came the voice of the verdant deity-
Tripthorne paled, for he knew at once
That this could be none but sweet Annemarie!
“My darling, have pity! Forgive us!”
He, stammering and stuttering, said,
“Nay!” she commanded, “for you are dishonest,
And defile our marriage bed!”
And with that, Annemarie raised her right hand
As she piercingly wailed in the dark,
The lovers each looked on in horror
As their skin turned to cold willow-bark.
“I beg you,” Josephine cried in horror,
“Please, set your just curse aside!
For he told me that he was unmarried-
It was unknown to me you were his bride!”
“Leave this place,” Annemarie thus commanded,
“And nevermore shall you return,
Only once will I grant you my mercy;
Woe betide you if you fail to learn.”
Josephine fled the bed, out the doorway,
As Tripthorne intended pursuit-
But he found that he could not so much as stand
For his feet had become willow roots.
Screams escaped his mouth as his blood turned to sap;
It filled his throat, drowning his pleas,
But they would have mattered little, as they would have fallen deaf
On the ears of Annemarie.
His arms and his fingers extended to branches,
That twitched, then stopped moving for good,
As his wife looked on, her expression was blank
As she watched flesh turn to wood.
As for his soul, it still burned alive,
But never again would he sleep;
For in his place stood the willow-
The tree that eternally weeps.
A hundred years passed, and the house is long gone,
No one hears of Tripthorne and Annemarie,
But on moonlit nights, when the wind blows just right,
One can hear the cries of the willow tree.
And still lovers meet under its branches,
Blessed by moon and stars above,
And yet cursed to endure them forever
Is the soul of the man who scorned love.

Pairings: Steven Grant x f!Reader, Marc Spector x f!Reader
Warnings: Smut (not too explicit) , Minors DNI. 18+ Only (to be safe)!
Technically part four of The Sun & The Moon series but can be read alone as well.
Moon Knight Masterlist
“How are you always so sensitive?” You whisper half in amusement and half seductively as you run your fingers down Steven’s toned chest admiring how the golden hue of the morning sun made his olive skin glow.
“Anything for you, love,” his voice trembles as you continue to brush your finger across his torso as you admire every slight imperfection.
“You are so pretty,” you praise as you place a kiss to his toned chest.
“No, y-you are,” he stutters as your hand wonders lower and dips beneath the duvet that covers your shared bed “c’mere…” he mumbles cupping your cheek and pulling you into a passionate kiss “I love you” he voice his husky as he briefly pulls away. As soon as his lips meet yours again he flips you over causing your hand to rapidly move to his back in an attempt to move with him “as much as I adore your touch, darling…I have a better idea.”
It was late morning by the time you both emerge from your shared residence with fingers entwined as you headed towards the street to hail a taxi. It was Saturday - and it happened to be your anniversary - it had become your custom to attend the local outdoor market.
You had caught Steven staring at you doe-eyed more than usual that day and you could help but notice how his eyes would scan up and down your light blue sundress before meeting your gaze.
“Like what you see, Mr. Grant?” You mumbled against his lips before peppering him with sweet kisses.
“Hmmm,” he mumbled against your neck completely oblivious of the odd looks you two were probably attracting. He had that effect on you, when you were together the rest of the world didn’t exist.
As the warm rays of the sun gave way to the cool night air you noticed how he seemed to grow more anxious. You were hoping it wasn’t because they had leave and cancel your dinner plans. You were relived when that wasn’t the case as you sat across from each other at the restaurant. He looked beyond gorgeous in the shirt and jacket you were sure Marc made him purchase as it was classic black and white.
In a sudden burst of confidence Steven reached across the table and took your hand in his as he other hand fidgeted with his jacket pocket.
“Y/N, darling…” he whispered as he took your hand “do you have any idea of how much you mean to me…us,” you had no doubt that Marc had just said something “and I don’t know what I would be without you…you’ve excepted us and have loved us unconditionally. I only hope that I can return it.” You could just hear Marc scoff at that.
Your eyes widened when you noticed the small box he had in his free hand as he slides from his chair to kneel before you on the stone floor. You smiled as he struggled to open it with one hand before relenting to release your hand “Sorry…darling,” he mumble an apology as he opened and a smile spread across your face.
It was a gorgeous natural oval cut Lapis Lazuli surrounded by several smaller diamonds all set in gold. You met Steven’s chocolate gaze both of your eyes rimmed with tears with overflowing emotion.
He took a breath to steady his racing heart “Y/N…darling…my love…will you marry me?” Us.
“Yes!” You instantly replied, you weren’t just saying yes to Steven, even though he was the one to ask. You were saying yes to Marc as well and even to the third alter, whomever he may be. They’re a packaged deal.
A big grin spread across Steven’s handsome face as he went to place the ring on your finger. Before both of you embraced, few knew of how great of a kisser your shy boyfriend - fiancé - was. This kiss easily took the cake, it was full of passion, devotion, and promise.
“You’ve made me the happiest man alive,” He mumbles into the crook of your neck and you just smile into his his neck “I love you so much, darling.”
The rest of the evening passed in a daze as Steven just started at you with doe eyes. He was endlessly adorable and charming and unbelievable gorgeous.
“Steven, let’s go home.”
The morning sun glinted off the blue stone around your ring finger as you rolled over just to find the bed empty. You sighed to yourself as you found a set of lounge wear before gathered up the clothes that were scattered on the floor. You couldn’t help the but smile as the memories of the previous night filled your head and your heart.
When you reached the kitchen you couldn’t help but smirked when you saw Marc’s T-shirt and Jean clad figure. Steven may be keen to hide himself behind too big clothes but mark was the opposite as he usually preferred his clothes snugger.
“Enjoying the view, sweetheart?” He cheekily inquired in that deep slightly-Chicago accented voice as he turned slightly in profile so he would slightly see the pink rise to your cheeks.
Everyday it amazed you how different they where - not that you didn’t expect it. Steven was awkward and somewhat shy while Marc was confident and intense. Their personalities weren’t the only stark difference you have come to know.
“Always.” You cheekily respond as he playfully shakes his head.
He turned to completely face you as his dark chocolate orbs met your (eye color) ones “I’m glad you’re not disappointed.”
You round the kitchen island so that your face-to-face with him “When have I ever been disappointed to see you?”
“This is a special time for…”
You cut him off as you step closer “all of us…a packaged deal, remember?” He wraps a strong arm around you and pulls you in for a kiss that is full of promise and relief.
Suddenly the smell of something burning reaches your nostrils “shit!” He curses when he realizes breakfast is burning. You give him a peck on the cheek as he releases you.
Something catches the corner or your eye and you turn curiously towards it. Your eyes soften as a smile spreads across your face when you spot the bouquet of red roses sitting on the counter. You look to Marc thinking they must be from him as you snatch the small card from its holder.
Don’t believe everything you hear.
I’ll see you soon, mi amore.
The signature looked like it read “Jake Lockley”. You drop the card as realization reaches your mind - the mysterious third alter!
Once Marc finishes preparing breakfast he turns to see why you’ve become so quiet. He nearly runs to your side when he sees the paleness of your features “baby, what’s…,” he stops short as he spots the card on the counter and quickly picks it up to scan it.
‘Marc! What’s are we going to do?!’ Steven is so frantic Marc can barely think.
You’re not afraid of Jake, apprehensive yes but not afraid. You’ve see monsters and as far as you knew Jake wasn’t one. If he was he’s had ample opportunities to show such. The color had quickly returned to your features as you took a calming breath.
“Y/N?” Marc’s chocolate brown eyes were fixed on you, his voice laced with concern.
“I’m fine,” you assure him “I wasn’t expecting it…that’s all.”
“Sausage? Bacon?” You question eyeing the spread before you and knowing of Marc’s Jewish heritage.
“Turkey,” he clarifies before pulling you into a sweet kiss and pulling out your chair. Breakfast was delicious and much to Marc’s amusement you ate more than your share “where do you put it all?”
After breakfast Marc was insistent on joining you in the shower despite having already showered himself. He now had you with your chest pinned against the cool tile as he devoured your neck and shoulder, his hand griped your hips as he ground his hard length against you.
“You like that don’t you, baby?” He breathed into your ear his breath hitched as you ground against him “Shit! You’re such a tease!”
“Marc…” your body ached for him as you turned your head and he eagerly consumed your mouth with his.
“I know honey,” he breathed as he he slid one hand between your bodies as he adjusted himself so that he could enter “you are so perfect,” he groaned as he steadily entered you and he only paused when he heard your sharp in take of breath as your core stretched around him.
Marc soon had you pressed tightly against him as you met his rhythmic pace and you could feel the familiar coil in your stomach as his calloused fingers came into contact with your sensitive perl “that’s it…baby…come for me.” He had you seeing stars as you came around him and you could tell that he was close himself as his rhythm faltered as his mouth sought yours.
Marc had been unusually quiet all day and by the far off look that graced his brown eyes you could tell he was lost in thought as he rubbed a palm up and down your bare legs that where resting across his lap. He only made eye contact when you went to move.
“I’m gonna call him,” he suddenly spoke as you shifted your legs off of his lap.
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah,” he respond with a sigh “I’m doing it right this time…I want us to be a family. You know. If we have kids they should know their grandpa.” You simply smiled at him as he pulled you close to bury his nose into your hair.

Tumblr media
My grandmother was a diamond woman. One of the first things she bought herself, when WWII came around and she started working in the factory making bomber airplanes and got her first paycheck for it was a diamond ring. Then a fur coat and then a bright yellow sports car so - that says something about both the woman and the way wages were back in the day. She had to give up the car when my grandfather came back from the war alive, something I suspect my grandmother never quite forgave him for and over time the fur coat went the same way. She never stopped with the diamonds though. Over the years, and another husband, she collected them and when she was old she had all of her diamonds set into two huge rings, one for my sister and one for me. She showed them to us, in their safe deposit box at the bank, when we were young, with a promise that when she was gone, she would still be with us in those two rings.
Rings that were sold long before she died to pay for family needs but - diamonds. Always diamonds.
For myself, I always wanted something less - pat. Everyone loved diamonds. I wanted something unique and, living on the coast, there were plenty of places that sold pearls, both fresh water and salt. Pearls were magic to me, born of the sea, plucked from knobbed shells that I found ugly, secrets unwillingly shared by their oyster hosts, each one special and one of a kind. I told my grandmother, the first time she offered to buy me jewelry, that I wanted a pearl.
She refused.
Pearls, she firmly told me, meant tears. I could pick any other stone to wear but she would not, she said, buy me sorrow.
It was the second time she taught me a superstition with the solid assurance of it being fact. It stuck with me.
So, lets talk about pearls, the traditional birthstone of June.
Pearls have been taken from the sea almost the world over and their legends stretch that far too. In many Asian countries, pearls are tears that fell from one god or another into the ocean or the blood of dragons that did the same, falling into the water below them as they fought. Sometimes the oysters themselves are responsible, swallowing down rainbows to make their pearls. In Western culture, pearls have been said to be the tears Adam and Eve shed when booted from the Garden or a result of the goddess Venus rising from the foam of the ocean. Pearls show up in the Bible, both in the story about the merchant who sold all he had to buy a pearl he found in the market and with the proverb about 'throwing pearls before swine', a rebuke against giving wisdom to people who won't listen.
Interestingly enough, in Asia, pearls are a symbol of wisdom as well as prosperity and are considered lucky. In China, gold colored pearls are especially prized and dragons are often shown clutching one in their claws, symbolizing their wise nature. In Polynesia, its black pearls are prized for their rainbow incandescence, said to be the gift of a god to the human princess he loved. Western cultures prize white pearls which are said to represent purity, innocence, elegance and sophistication and despite my grandmother's words, are worn by brides on their wedding just as often as they're not, with a list of cravats that let people get around the 'pearls mean tears' with it being all right as long as the bride buys them herself, as long as the bride doesn't buy them herself, only if the groom gives them to the bride, only if they're borrowed, only if they're new and lastly, they're worn to represent fake tears that can take the place of real tears so the bride won't need to shed any in her marriage. Never, the saying goes, buy pearls that are whiter than your teeth.
Jackie Kennedy made wearing a pearl necklace a long running fashion trend and the painting The Girl With the Pearl Earring is almost as well known for her pearl as the girl. Considered a feminine gem recently, ropes of pearl were worn by men throughout history as a way of showing their wealth, particularly in India. The pearl is also considered a magical component, supposedly good for good fortune, protection and summoning wealth as well as a guard against snake bites and jaundice. Pearls are associated with the moon. They are used in love spells and sleeping with one under your pillow is said to ensure fertility. One of my favorites is that wearing them when you're scuba diving prevents shark attacks!
Speaking of diving, if you want extra reading, look up the Ama of Japan, women who traditionally freedive deep for pearls without breathing equipment. Their history goes back centuries and is absolutely woven with folklore and stories. (If you want me to make a post about them, just ask).
So - are pearls tears? Maybe. But not all tears are bad and these are particularly magical looking ones too.

OKAY, now that i'm on my computer: pascal: 💯, 😞, and 💙 (i mean, they have a tail, that's an excellent start) hestia (love! this! name!): 🌈, 🎶, and 🩹
lucrezia: 🔺, 💔, and writer's choice (from @flowerprose)
Pascal 🦎
💯 HUNDRED POINTS SYMBOL share three random facts about your oc that others may not know.
They are mildly allergic to pineapple, to their dismay; they’re a switch in bed; and contrary to popular belief as they don’t seem the type to sit still, Pascal will sit down and read an entire book in a sitting or two, utterly focused.
😞 DISAPPOINTED FACE — does your oc attract others, or do they tend to be left alone?
He is a people person! The life of the party right here, people flock to Pascal, and they enjoy the company.
💙 BLUE HEART — does your oc have any cool/special powers and/or abilities? how are they with magic, if it exists in their world?
Pascal has very neat abilities. He’s referred to as the Chameleon Stray, due to the fact that he can cover his entire body in scales which can become as hard as diamond and take on a variety of textures and colors. He also has a prehensile tail which can snap off and regrow, slit pupil eyes which can take on a fully faceted appearance, and dark vision. As an extension of his chameleon abilities, he can spread the camouflage affect to anything he touches, and uses this on bullets to transform their chemical makeup.
Hestia 🔥
🌈 RAINBOW — what is your oc's sexual orientation/gender identity? what pronouns do they use?
She’s pansexual and cisgender female, uses she/her!
🎶 MUSICAL NOTES — what type of music does your oc like? do they listen to music very often?
She likes piano music, classical tunes and movie soundtracks, especially listening to Acheron (one of her lovers), whenever he plays. She doesn’t get to listen to music too often, but while she likes classical music, she sometimes has a strong aversion to it after galas and public events where it plays. On her own, she would also enjoy lo-fi stuff and ambient alternative.
🩹 ADHESIVE BANDAGE — does your oc have any physical and/or mental disabilities?
She has chronic back pain due to having the fantastic ability to Very Painfully sprout wings from her back which then slough away pretty quickly, shedding down to nothing. She’s got massive amounts of scar tissue between her shoulder blades and it causes her a lot of discomfort that can keep her up at night.
Lucrezia 🦈
💔 already answered!
🔺 RED TRIANGLE POINTED UP — does your oc know how to use any weapons?
Does he indeed. Lucrezia is proficient in a variety of bladed weapons, particularly anything with range. Here’s a little example of what he’s armed with the most, when he’s actually given a physical weapon.
“He would be so much more content just with the butcher’s weapon they arm him with on occasion, a blade as wide as his waist and longer than the length of his arms, gripped along the inner curve to slice like the dark curve of the moon. But they have made his body a weapon, just as much as the legendary arctic he calls from, the cold and ice at his beck and call.”
💍 RING — does your oc have any piercings? do they want any (more) piercings?
Lucrezia is very piercing averse. During public events, he’s always dressed down to put a lot of skin on display because he’s fucking hot but also because the marketing team of the Helix knows what will get attention on him, and he looks like a buff as fuck model. He’s constantly anxious that one day they’ll pierce his nipples for this, but they haven’t yet, and miraculously, he doesn’t have his ears pierced e

You mentioned Hiroki had a husband, may I ask about him?
Did they meet when they were young? Maybe he was one of the kids Gai had in his orphanage, and the two hit it off as friends before growing closer over the years?
Or maybe, he was another favourite customer who flirted with Hiroki in the market place when he and his papa came back from sea. O ly the difference was that unlike Gai who kept embarrassingly floundering whenever Kakashi appeared at his stall, this young boy/ man had the courage to ask Hiroki on a date~
(I guess I'm curious about Hiroki's family tree today XD;)
They met when they were young and Hiroki’s husband was very confident whenever he spoke to Hiroki. The two bonded over a shared love of the water and Rain, and their first date was actually spent over a nice dinner while it rained just outside
After dinner they went outside to enjoy the rain and even danced a little while the sky lit up with thunder. Easily one of their best dates throughout their lifetime together
He also worked at the hospital with Hiroki. He was the one who organized everything, kept their paperwork in order, delt with their finances, etc. Hiroki took care of the kids, his husbanf took care of the hospital.
He also asked Hiroki to marry him by taking him out on a boat and presenting him with a ring that had a diamond shaped like a raindrop

Global Top 27 Companies Accounted for 47% of total Gems and Jewelry market (QYResearch, 2021)
Gem, which is also called Jewel, normally refers to a precious mineral crystal or stone that is cut into good looking shape and also polished for use as an ornament. However, some organic materials, such as amber and pearl, are also classified as gemstone. Gem is used to make jewelry or other adornments. Jewelry is defined as personal ornaments such as necklaces, rings, or bracelets that could be made from gems and precious metal, including gold, silver and platinum.
In this report, Gems and Jewelry are classified into four categories, which are Gold Jewelry, Diamond Jewelry, Platinum Jewelry and Others (mainly Gems, Semi-precious Stone, Pearl and Jadeite). The main reason of this classification is that the market share of gold, diamond and platinum basically account for the majority of Gems and Jewelry market. Other Jewelry, such as gem, which probably could have higher price but do not have big market volume due to its rarity and less public acceptance compared to those three main types, are integrated into one type. More detailed analysis based on this classification, including sales volume, revenue and price will be presented in later sections.

Unlocking Brilliance: A Guide to Lab-Grown Diamonds and Iconic Diamond Jewelry Trends
Introduction
In recent years, lab-grown diamonds have gained significant popularity as a sustainable and ethical alternative to mined diamonds. These diamonds, also known as cultured or synthetic diamonds, are created through technological processes that mimic the natural conditions under which diamonds form within the Earth. This article explores the world of lab-grown diamonds, along with insights into cushion cut diamond, diamond eternity bands, and emerald diamond engagement rings.
Tumblr media
Benefits of Lab-Grown Diamonds
Environmental Impact
One of the key advantages of lab grown diamonds is their minimal environmental impact compared to traditional mining. The process of mining diamonds can have detrimental effects on ecosystems, including deforestation and habitat destruction. In contrast, lab-grown diamonds require significantly fewer resources and produce lower carbon emissions.
Ethical Considerations
Lab-grown diamonds are considered ethically superior to mined diamonds because they are not associated with issues such as human rights abuses or conflict financing, commonly known as "blood diamonds."
Cost Savings
Lab-grown diamonds are typically more affordable than natural diamonds of comparable quality. This affordability opens up opportunities for consumers to purchase larger or higher-quality diamonds within their budget.
Tumblr media
Comparison: Lab-Grown vs. Mined Diamonds
Quality and Composition
Lab-grown diamonds exhibit the same chemical and optical properties as natural diamonds. They are composed of carbon atoms arranged in a crystal lattice structure, making them indistinguishable from mined diamonds to the naked eye.
Pricing Differences
Due to the controlled production process, lab-grown diamonds are generally priced lower than mined diamonds. The pricing of lab-grown diamonds is based on the cost of production rather than market forces associated with mining.
Sustainability Factors
Choosing lab-grown diamonds aligns with sustainability efforts, as it reduces the demand for mining and its associated environmental impacts.
Tumblr media
Cushion Cut Diamonds: Characteristics and Appeal
The cushion cut is a popular diamond shape known for its vintage charm and romantic appeal. This classic cut combines a square or rectangular shape with rounded corners, creating a soft and elegant look that complements various engagement ring styles.
Popular Designs of Diamond Eternity Bands
Diamond eternity bands are symbolic of everlasting love and commitment. These bands feature diamonds set all around the ring, symbolizing an unending circle of love. Popular designs include shared prong, channel set, and pave settings, each offering a unique aesthetic.
Emerald Diamond Engagement Rings: Unique Features
Emerald-cut diamonds are prized for their elongated, rectangular shape and step-cut facets, which showcase exceptional clarity and brilliance. Emerald diamond engagement rings exude sophistication and timeless elegance, making them a coveted choice for engagement jewelry.
In recent years, there has been a surge in demand for lab-grown diamonds due to their ethical and sustainable qualities. As consumers become more conscious of their purchasing decisions, lab-grown diamonds offer a compelling alternative that aligns with modern values.
Conclusion
Lab-grown diamonds represent a revolution in the jewelry industry, offering a sustainable, ethical, and cost-effective choice for diamond enthusiasts. With advancements in technology and growing consumer awareness, the future of diamonds shines bright with lab-grown innovation.
