Deadpool & Wolverine: Time for a Reboot or Whatever.
youtube
Finally, Deadpool, aka the Merc with the Mouth, has returned to invade the Marvel Cinematic Universe in a bloody, gory, and sexually offensive manner.
The new movie is a needed refresher to MCU Overload when Deadpool comes in for vulgar jokes and sick R-rated action killings. The trailer, however, starts with an unlikely situation: Deadpool in a wig! Oh, and Vanessa and other characters who've died in Deadpool 2 are alive and well, but the wig. It's just... ughf.
Moving on, the TVA or Time Variance Authority arrives and takes Deadpool, but pulls a Loki-style opportunity for him to join the MCU. He finally suits up in his iconic red suit and katanas on some sort of Multiversal-level mission with kickass fighting and Deadpool-isms. But we get the reveal of the iconic Wolverine making his MCU debut since Logan and we're getting more details in the future with the title Deadpool & Wolverine.
While it does have Deadpool, it's also an MCU film that will have a lot of cameos and easter eggs. But here are some of my theories of how it might play out.
Theories
Deadpool Variant or Variants
I suspect that this Deadpool isn't the Deadpool we know, not completely. We just might get a Dreadpool situation. A variant of Deadpool as the main antagonist does make sense in the grand scheme of the MCU.
MCU Cameos
It's obvious there are going to be cameos from various properties, but we might see iconic heroes at unexpected points. I'm hoping for a cameo from Spider-Man so we can finally have some Tom Holland screen time and maybe a tease for Spider-Man 4.
Mutants Invade the MCU (Krakoa Era)
Mutants have been heavily teased throughout the MCU, so it's fair to say that all mutant kind will officially debut. I want the Krakoa storyline from the X-Men comics to play out because it's a great change of pace and an interesting mystery for the audience to introduce in its origins.
Whether or not it is true, I expect Deadpool & Wolverine to become a summer blockbuster with the combined star power of Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman and their respective characters and franchises. Plus, you can't go wrong with Deadpool's craziness and Wolverine's rugged sexiness.

Follow your instincts, pal
I thought people would like to know that Logan was THE ONLY ONE who tried to stop Wade from getting handed over to an asylum where Wade was tortured and brainwashed into killing the entire Marvel universe—becoming Dreadpool.
#poolverine#i mean he should've done more not to let the x-men do this#but literally no one else was opposed??#deadpool and wolverine#comics#xmen#dreadpool#deadclaws#peanutbub#wade wilson#logan howlett

*Kicks down a door* SO LEMME TELL YOU ABOUT THIS NEW VILLAIN GROUP I'M MAKING!
This is the Veraxiouz Colony, aka my solution to making my own version of the Overtakers from Quite A Glittering Assemblage (which is a GREAT FANFIC SERIES YOU SHOULD CHECK OUT), once I actually get around to writing my fanfics.
Here they are:
Dr. Frederich Isak Showenhower/Freakshow
From: Danny Phantom (Very Loosely Adapted)
The certified ringleader of this circus, a Playtime Co. scientist who founded the Bigger Bodies Initiative in order to avoid paying any of the workers. Taking advantage of Elliot Ludwig's care for orphans, including an on-site orphanage, Freakshow spearhead mass experiments and torture of hundreds of people, including orphans, transforming them into living and psychotic toys, which Freakshow used in his TV show. With that, Doctor Showenhower endangered his employees with the experiments, and silenced them when they get too close to the truth. He'll take every avenue to rule if possible, even destroying the omniverse, with his loyal generals Lydia, Chastity and Yarnaby staying by his side.
Midnight Sparkle
From: My Little Pony: Friendship Games
Prison Number: 63910-MLP
For a time, this version of Twilight Sparkle was thought by many to be a weak link by her now-former classmates at Crystal Prep, but once she got her hands on some Equestrian magic (and thanks to the peer pressure), she snapped and started wreaking havoc before being locked away in Breaking Point Maximum Security Prison. And once free, she won't rest until she gains all there is to know about magic.
Wade Wilson/Dreadpool
From: Marvel comics
Prison Number: 19972605-MRVL
A Wade Wilson from an alternate timeline where the mad genius Psycho-Man broke his mind even more than usual, Dreadpool is locked away in Breaking Point Maximum Security Prison for the safety of the omniverse after he slaughtered everyone in his dimension. With his skills and regeneration, this guy will be hard to recapture.
March the Hare
From: Murder Drones
Prison Number: 081823-MD
A cruel and rather....country voiced Worker Drone, March lived in Cabin Fever Labs for a time until she was inevitably arrested for cannibalism and mass murder. But once she breaks out of Breaking Point Maximum Security Prison, everything's good as boned once she gets her mits on some Sentinels.
Hunter J
From: Pokemon Diamond And Pearl
Prison Number: 060907-PKMN
A ruthless Pokemon poacher, she's been kidnapping and selling Pokemon on the black market for a while until her and her henchmen were fished out of Lake Valor and taken to Breaking Point Maximum Security Prison, but once Slyckalak liberates her and her henchmen, the Pokemon of the omniverse better watch out.
Diavolo
From: JoJo's Bizarre Adventures
Prison Number: 010906-JJBA
The former don of Passione, a ruthless mafioso that wouldn't let anyone know his identity, and as such, would kill anyone who searched for it. After being sealed in Breaking Point Maximum Security Prison, he's itching to retake his throne. He has the power to skip time forward ten seconds, thereby skipping the cause and leaving the effect.
Wicked Witch of the West
From: Wizard of Oz (1930s)
Prison Number: 092539-WOZ
After being melted by a certain X-Squad, the Wicked Witch’s spirit survived and was swiftly arrested and dragged into Breaking Point Maximum Security Prison, but once she reclaims her sister's slippers and escapes, the omniverse is definitely in for a bad time.
Imperious
From: Power Rangers Mystic Force
Prison Number: 060506-PR
A flamboyant and power-hungry mummy wizard, Imperious was sealed away in Breaking Point Maximum Security Prison for his crimes against humanity and magic-born, until Slyckalak inevitably breaks him out for his plans, but his lack of loyalty is infamous, and he might get too big for his boots.
Dennis
From: Phineas and Ferb
Prison Number: 090109-PAF
Dennis was a star OWCA agent until he decided that fighting mad scientists was too easy, and so decided to take his skills against OWCA and became a deadly freelance mercenary, at least until he was transferred to Breaking Point Maximum Security Prison, and let's just hope he can't weasel his way out this time.
J.S. Steinman
From: Bioshock
Prison Number; 092107-BIOS
An accomplished surgeon, Steinman rose to a degree of prominence throughout Rapture, and came to the place to practice his morbid, twisted view on physical beauty on unwilling patients, but ADAM abuse caused him to lose his grip on reality, resulting in him becoming a demented and twisted doctor, who was inevitably arrested and taken to Breaking Point Maximum Security Prison. Let's just hope he doesn't run wild, or we'll all be patients for his twisted art projects.
Airachnid
From: Transformers Prime
Prison Number: 9472938-TFP
Formerly a primary enforcer of Megatron. This serial killer was soon sentenced to life in Breaking Point Maximum Security Prison for her crimes. However, should she escape, let's just hope that she is swiftly defeated and dragged back here before she causes too much damage.

Uh. Thanks. My uh...my spider sense went off. It's not always anything, especially right now, it's been going haywire, but...
*he pulls out his phone and flips through the security cam app, checking all the feeds. Then finally looks around.*
Where are we?
I'm on my porch. Nice night out.
@bstandsforbabydaddy
He immediately teleported to Peter, stretching out and sighing some.
"Oh, yeah it actually is. Not too bad out."

Earth-1218
Also known as the Real World. A reality where superheroes and super-powered being don't exist - instead, existing as works of fiction. Characters and events in the Multiverse are imagined by and chronicled by the writers and artists of Marvel Comics.
Time passes quicker here than on Earth-616, usually at a rate of 4:1. The rules of this reality are too strict to allow for the existence of superpowers or magic.
Characters with medium awareness, such as Deadpool and She-Hulk, are able to break the Fourth Wall and talk to the readers/audience of the real world.
First mentioned/appearance: Exiles #3 (2008)
Earth-41210
A reality similar to Earth-1218 where Wade Wilson (Dreadpool) of Earth-12101 kills the writers and illustrators of Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe.
First mentioned/appearance: Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe #4 (2012)
Earth-38119
A reality similar to Earth-1218 where a live action Spider-Man television series existed in the 1990s. Peter Parker (Spider-Man) of Earth-92131 visited this world and met Stan Lee.
First mentioned/appearance: Spider-Man: the Animated Series (1994 TV series)

Alright, buckle up. You asked for ten off-the-wall, horror-laced, chaos-fueled, fourth-wall-obliterating seasons starring Deadpool in God of War’s universe, with anime-style leveling, Taz-style corruption, and humor that would make Cthulhu cry-laugh into his abyss.

SEASON 1: CHAINS OF THE SQUEALING GOD
Deadpool wakes up in a world where the gods scream when they dream, and pigs speak backwards in Latin. He’s chained to the corpse of a god he didn't kill (yet).

Anime power-up: “Edgy Monologue Unleash!” mode gives Deadpool a 7-minute power-up scene with musical flashbacks to a love affair with a harpy.
---
SEASON 2: SWINE OF SPARTA

Highlights:
Taz appears as a floating pig-faced deity wearing shades and drinking chaos like soda.
Entire village consumed by a fart elemental named “Gaseous Blaspheme.”
Boss: Momma Sowtra, whose udders spray corruption.

Deadpool murders his own narrator and becomes the god of commentary.

Faces off against a divine Judge made of angry canceled cartoons.
Gains the Chaos Stat: the more random the action, the higher the crit chance.

SEASON 4: DEEP FRIED DOMINION
Deadpool rules the Underhell, a place where bad gods go to become meme fuel.
Highlights:
Episode-long game show where souls compete to be reincarnated as pigeons.
Boss: Zeus Clucker, corrupted poultry lord with a lightning-beak.
Taz invades Deadpool’s dreams to host a talent show.

The souls of the gods Deadpool has slain merge into a single creature: “Krazytrius.”

Epic final line: “This is where the story ends... until someone hits ‘New Game+’.”
---
Want character sheets for Deadpool, Taz, and the Swine for tabletop? Or anime posters for each season?

He listened and wondered how much of his own timeline-crossing escapades he should even bring up, given one ended up in a very violent massacre of his other selves. Most of whom he had the pleasure of having never actually met. He wasn't there to start it, but he did end it. He glanced down at the captured anomaly and hummed a bit as he walked over to them and nudged them with his foot, earning a grunt of irritation. They did look an awful a lot like someone here. So all of it tracked so far.
"That tracks... I assume you have something to track all these... anomalies... these displacees across the multiverse." The sound of the clip sliding into the magazine of the gun, the familiar sound, calms his nerves somewhat. He hummed a bit, thinking, his thoughts getting cut short as he was shown a video.
"Oooh..." He was sure he'd heard of something about that before, from Dr. Strange. He couldn't remember fully what was said, so he wasn't going to bring it up; the information could wait till later. "Most of my 'Variants' are dead..." He paused for a moment. "I killed most of them." Which was harder to explain, all considered, most of his variants had a healing factor. "Uh, for a good reason, I should add."
As hard as that sounds to believe.
"Miguel! Then you can call me Wade. Since we're on a first-name basis." He nearly nudged the man in the side casually before stopping himself; he didn't feel like discovering how comfortable Miguel would be with cutting off his arms right now. "Anyway, I used to work with a group of other Deadpools. Deadpool Corp. We fell apart and went our separate ways. They're all dead now, I didn't kill them, though." Wade's tone turned somber for a moment, thinking about them.
"I never personally encountered too many troubles in my timeline hopping adventures, not with the Deadpool Corp or even with Cable. I mean, I had troubles, but those were purely situational." He was sure that was mostly on part of never sticking around long enough to cause problems. He was sure 'Dreadpool,' as he called him, caused a lot more trouble than he ever could crossing the multiverse.
"What's this society like? It doesn't sound like a small team if you're using the word society." He wondered if Spidey was a part of it. He wouldn't doubt it; he didn't keep track of the guy. Regardless, his original question about tracking was more or less answered; he wondered how accurate it was.
The existence of a spectator required a brief adjustment. It wasn't often that he'd allow an eyewitness to observe his work, but given that Deadpool hadn't provided him with adequate reasons to detain the man, the merc was permitted the chance to ask and inquire, as desired. Field questions that, to nobody's surprise, required complicated explanations.
"They're... displaced individuals." There's the start, the front car of a train that could derail at any second. But it wasn't like this was his first time shedding light on the nature of his reality-hopping quarry, targets that were rarely aware of being singled out until catching a glimpse of a bear-sized Spider lunging at him. Far from it, in catch.
And that measure of experience was certainly reflected in the ease with which he dives into a more detailed elaboration; "You've made mention of meeting your other selves... these are what I've elected to term as variants." Because of course he's encountered his own reflections too, and was left with the same hollow feeling each time. Nothing good had arisen from Miguel learning that a version of himself had become a father, had experienced happiness... that he wanted to experience as well.
"Sometimes, these same variants..." Gesturing to the detained between then, he ignored what sounded like a muffled hmph to add "...can end up in realities completely different to the one they've originated from." Unwilling travellers on a journey that sees those affected being tossed across the endless expanse of the universe, and all of its different shades and forms.
"Which is when problems start to arise." Rather than given an explanation for this next piece, he deterred to a video speak for him, shown off to the other after the swipe and press of a few inputs upon his wrist-mounted gizmo summoned a small, golden holo-screen into existence. "This is why some variants become known as anomalies." Comprised of various security camera footage, what would be shown off is the glitching that affects the space around a given anomaly in a deadly way producing shapes and colours the likes of which were never witnessed by human eyes previously.
"Call me Miguel, by the way." Responding to the merc's trouble with name assignment, no reaction is given to the mention of the Avengers, heroes that, just like with every other reality he had previously visited, would serve only to act as a hindrance, rather than help with corralling the wandering variants, damaging the world around them.
"I lead a team, actually. It's called the Spider Society."
