in December, 2024 (a little over three months ago), the UK changed the legal guidlines so that not disclosing your "birth sex" before having sex could be considered rape (click). the Crown Prosecutions' release about this change explicitly mentions "trans and non-binary" "suspects" throughout the article, although they add later on that it "also clarifies the law where suspects are non-trans such as females pretending to be male." also...
