no you dont get it you dont UNDERSTAND this scene at the end of wall-e is so aburpt and emotional. especially in the context. the whole movie it's all been up in the character's faces, filling the frame. but the camera steps back and you see how small they are. so insignificant. massive towering monoliths all around them but at the end of it all.. they're just robots.. two tiny little robots. they're in the shadow and wall-e is *gone*. The bright spark of life has quietly been whispered away. that spark, so small, so bright. the framing gives you the eerie sense of emptiness [emphasised by the previour shot - showing wall-e's lifeless eyes.

there's no emotion there. it's empty. he's gone. not just gone, but the lights aren't on. sure you rebuilt the house but you look inside and nobody's there. the echo of your love doesn't return. it's hollow. it's so sad. i could cry about this for years and years and years. so much is being told. EVE was lifting his eyes and they dropped back down in the most robotic way possible. no swagger or humanity or personality. just back to inhuman efficency. compared to the swift, sweeping, emotive movement throughout the movie - this feels not just bad, but wrong. there's only about 2:30 from wall-e "reanimating" until he comes back completely. but that 2 and a half minutes. its some of the most heart-tugging animated movie i've ever seen.

Random Tazercraft appreciation post bc even tho i never watched their pov, you can still feel the life they put into the server

From what i know, they organized most of Festa Junina which was an AWESOME event, with tons of cultural representation and was so fun, for the brazilians and the others. It introduced everyone to a part of Brazil's culture and it was so wholesome and well done?? (+The area was really pretty)

The esconde esconde??? Which some players still go to play at random times bc it's just so fun?? The area is awesome, the eggs got to decorate their statues (which is super cute) for some of them and they decorated the rest according to each eggs' tastes. The main event was SO much fun and they even added a second mini-game with the ''hot-potato'' (even more fun, can you believe that?)

The second area??? For the murder mystery?? It looks so good?? The details are INSANE, they're adding lore to each houses, loads of decorations/secret paths/hidden rooms and we already know this is gonna be such a good event! Their ideas for the roles, having around a dozens so that everyone gets to have one... I legit can't wait to see it!

And you can to that the train (which is so cool) and all the randoms lore discoveries

Like, the clip of them getting into the nether lived in my mind rent free for so long bc it's just so funny?? And they keep on doing that type of stuff

I’m on a kick of remembering just how fucking fantastic Wall-E is as a film. The tiniest details in the animation, the Foley effects, the production stories, the deleted scenes, the humanization of robots who hardly say a dozen words the entire film…… it’s a cinematic masterpiece and such an underrated film. Please tell me there are people in 2022 who still adore this movie.

so I finished reading Turnabout Enemies and just about screamed throughout the entire thing— from delight and in baffled confusion in true ace attorney case fashion— so have this from one of the final scenes of the fic (chapter 21 to be specific!) because I am INCREDIBLY predictable

Here's a post on how Leo was able to fully heal for the final movie scene.

Oh YEAH. It is NOT scientifically inaccurate for him to be walking around so shortly after HELL.

("so shortly" standing for 7 to 12 months,, New York had the time to rebuild and they apparently spent this whole time pizzaless until the "grabbing a slice" scene with Casey Jr)

First of all, the guy has at least one concussion. A bAd one. That's two to four weeks for sure.

Pretty fvcked-up arm (I chose his right one, like Future Leo). That's three months in a cast.

Now, you know how turtles' shells are literally their ribcage? I figured breaking their plastron/shell would be similar to breaking ribs. And just as painful. But that's just a detail.

I'm not kidding, you ALL saw the Kraang punching his chest repeatedly full force. There's no way his plastron didn't give out, it caved in a bit.

So I'd say it did some inevitable damage to his lungs and heart. I picked temporary arrhythmia (it happens when there's an issue with the heart's tissue), that's like, really fast heartbeat at random times of the day for no reason. Tachycardia attacks feel like panic attacks, except it comes with chest pains and you can FEEL your heart going haywire.

And his shell didn't survive BREAKING CEMENT AND ROCKS either. It's a little less severe than his plastron, he'd definitely lose one or two scutes (they grow back... kinda. Just pretend he was about to shed anyways).

Turtle plastron and shell fractures might actually take three years to heal, BUT, he's a mutant, and human broken ribs would take about three months.

Let's just round it up to six months.

That would be at least one month before the ending scene.
