All right, now that the biggest shock from seeing those stills is over, let's speculate.

I'm still sure that Tim is cooking up Buddie in the kitchen while laughing at our reactions to seeing those stills.

But I remember seeing Ana stills as well, and look what happened there.

Let's look at this rationally. Marisol has no last name and we know nothing about her, just that she has a brother, she used to be a nun and she likes DIY.

We have Ryan coming up in two interviews, so something big is coming up for his character. I doubt Marisol would illicit these interviews. Ryan literally said, in one of his interviews, that she was a filler relationship.

The season still has a few eps to go, so anything can still happen. This isn't over yet.

Let's also not forget about fake Shannon that is going to appear in the ep tonight. Why is she there? What will she say? Stills are only just that... captures. And sometimes they don't actually end up in the ep. We've seen that before.

Let's also not forget about Eddie's family coming to LA in one of the next episodes, with Eddie and Buck right there.

Something is going on and I can't wait to see what they are planning.

PS: Is anyone afraid for Bobby? I am so worried about this new Bobby-storyline.

losing my mind horribly and begging hoping this is not the route it is going because i will be the saddest human on the planet.

but. my friend and i. came up with a theory.

i feel very strongly with the “kim is not real” theory, not because i want to excuse eddie’s behavior, not because i don’t think he is capable of fucking his life over (trust me, i know what that man is capable of 😭) but because it makes . sense .

someone pointed out the dialogue kim says in the little clip we got and just how suspiciously it is tied into the ‘shannon of it all’ .

but basically i think: buck finds out what is going on, he reaches out to abuela on behalf of eddie because he knows he wouldn’t be able to do it himself (in that moment), explains to her what is happening and she decides to rein in extra reinforcements and that is how the diaz family end up in la.

sort of an intervention, basically. and by the end of it eddie realizes he does- really fucking does- need help. and so he agrees to go somewhere that can help him (sort of similar to how maddie left when she needed help, also just another parallel to them as characters!)

he asks buck to watch after chris for him while he is away, he doesn’t trust anyone else to watch after his son (as we know), maybe his parents *cough mom cough* say something, maybe they try to fight it, but ultimately the will is brought up and chris stays with buck.

thus also explains what ryan meant by a “fresh start” for eddie come season eight.

anyway. hoping this is super totally 100% off base and sounds insane and not a possibility BECAUSE III CANNOT 🧎‍♀️ HANDLE THIS 🧎‍♀️ but i had to share it

Is it just me or is Joe very...Eddie-shaped in the new pics? Disclaimer as usual, my speculation about his weight is solely rooted in the interview in which he said he lost weight to play Eddie because he figured Eddie should be lankier, implying that for Eddie's return, he would have lost weight again to portray him.

And he was on that con in Portland mid January too 🤔 And while he's been cast in that X Men movie, filming for it won't start for a while so...we actually don't know what exactly he's doing right now. Not in any stage plays, the Gladiator sequel and A Quiet Place have finished filming a while ago...👀

I read somewhere that the Fantastic Four is supposed to start shooting in August. I've always wondered if he would have to do one of those crazy superhero training routines to prepare; five months isn't a ton of time, unless he's known about the casting for a long time (but word on the street says that he's the one who actually held up the casting announcement, so... 🤔).

I dunno how one would juggle being in Eddie shape vs Johnny Storm shape so close together, so that's something to consider. Man, I dunno how actors do it! Gaining, losing, bulking, losing...it must be exhausting.

I know I answered nothing, but this is the mental gymnastics my brain does lol 🤣

Well I have some thoughts on that! I think Buck does like Tommy, and there's no confusion for him about that. His feelings for both people can coexist!

My interpretation of last night's events for our chaotic bisexual kind of played out as him trying to get both Tommy's and Eddie's attention at different times. And not really knowing why. I think he was having feelings he couldn't really process because he didn't have the right context for those feelings and hasn't really felt them before.

So call me a clown but my thoughts are that he was definitely feeling jealous of both of them. With Eddie, he's primarily been close with only women outside of the 118, not other guys. Buck's subconscious feelings (not known to him at the time or even fully now) may have been along the lines of "Eddie likes women, I have no competition" and then in swoops Tommy (someone Buck already thinks is really cool and wanted to get to know even if he didn't quite know why yet) and his brain goes "I have competition" about both Eddie taking his new interest's attention and Tommy taking his long time interest's attention.

But then Tommy comes back into focus and clearly shows interest in Buck, so it clicks! This was that feeling! Part of the puzzle has been solved— it's just the rest that isn't as obvious to him yet.

Because without understanding his sexuality, Buck has likely only ever viewed Eddie as a friend even if along the way he has felt things that friends don't typically feel. So what we have right now is an opportunity for Buck to explore his bisexuality as a completely separate thing from Eddie, and then come to understand what he has also been feeling for Eddie without realizing before.

Or I'm completely wrong but only time will tell.
