North Korea Prepares for War. The Hackers Launched an Attack

North Korean hackers are attacking cryptocurrency projects to help fund the country's nuclear program.

Reuters reports that after record cyber attacks in 2022, about $ 1.7 billion was stolen, “A pool of people involved in cyber attacks has been created in the DPRK. The loot is donated to the development of the military industry. According to our estimates, the group includes more than 20,000 servicemen.”

Elliptic analysts conducted their own investigation, during which they revealed a massive transfer of stolen funds to the Garantex crypto exchange. Experts suggest that the hackers belong to the Lazarus Group.

And now the most interesting, how does the SEC differ from hackers?

Recently, the Securities Commission issued fines totaling $ 1 billion. The latest major incident was a lawsuit against Bittrex, due to which the crypto exchange went bankrupt. But this was not enough, and the SEC fined the company an additional $24 million.

Lado Okhotnikov finds strange the behavior of the regulator, which randomly distributes fines and initiates unfounded lawsuits, “Not only did Bittrex declare itself bankrupt, it also remained in debt. As for the SEC, some analysts are of the opinion that the interests of the regulator are more likely to increase their own revenues through the collection of fines than to ensure effective and fair regulation."

you can feel him glaring at you, but he gives up quickly in favor of a playful act of aggression, letting his top teeth graze onto the skin of your shoulder.

“demon?” you repeat, mock offended. his hands shift to wrap around your belly.

“angel if we give this up for a bit and do something different for a moment.”

“like what?” you reply, letting your hand find his cheek behind you.

some golden guards + caleb

i wanted to take a break and do some character design of a few golden guards based off of some of the ones seen briefly in canon. i also drew hunter and caleb as references for faces and stuff. i tried to make them as similar as possible, but also looking very individual to one another. since belos claimed that hunter looks the most like caleb, i tried to stay true to that while keeping the other three looking similar but not quite as identical. anyways i love them <3 they’re like the most mentally ill family ever to me

these weren’t supposed to be real ocs or anything but then i ended up giving them names and backstories and so i wrote a little about them aaaand now im obsessed. i will try to make a full body ref for them, especially alistair and/or constance, if i have time

Researchers at the Universities of Bonn, Prague and Nanjing calculate that the strength of this radiation has probably been overestimated up to now. If the results prove to be accurate, it would call into question the theoretical foundation of the standard model of cosmology. The results have now been published in the journal Nuclear Physics B.

A Black Hole in M87? - April 5th, 1997.

"The center of nearby giant galaxy M87 is a dense and violent place. In this 1994 photograph by the Hubble Space Telescope, a disk of hot gas was found to be orbiting at the center of this massive elliptical galaxy. The disk is evident at the lower left of the picture. The rotation speed of gas in this disk indicates the mass of the object the gas is orbiting, while the size of the disk indicates an approximate volume of the central object. These observations yield a central density so high, that the only hypothesised object that could live there is a black hole. The picture also shows a highly energetic jet emanating from the central object, like a cosmic blowtorch. The jet is composed of fast-moving charged particles and has broken into knots as small as 10 light-years across."
