Some people are very good at talking to a group and creating an environment where all of them feel very welcome and proactively making sure people are included in all aspects of the conversation and then some people talk to a group as if they are trying to keep everyone divided? Like they are using inside jokes that only one person understands or talk in a guarded way that suggests they are everyone's closest confidant but no one else is allowed to know each other. since my course started i swear i just cannot cope with the pressure of trying to communicate with anyone where i have to reply in a timely manner... like friends i don't know very well, my physiotherapist, honestly everyone other than the people i'm closest to because i know there aren't any consequences to just not replying for like a week or whatever. every time i think about the people i have to reply to i feel SO stressed and just like swear off human communication forever

You weren't necessarily a nerd or a loner or an outcast. You were simply normal. You weren't apart of any sororities and you didn't go out to parties every weekend. And that meant some people thought you and Kirishima weren't made for each other.

He was kind and extroverted. He loved going to parties, was in a frat, and he went to the gym daily. His muscular figure only got more muscular with his football practice. He was practically the college's golden boy and girls constantly thirsted over him on social media.

But Kirishima didn't care about that. If there was something he wouldn't do, it was judge others based on other peoples' perception of them. He loved you dearly. You were so kind, the kind of person who would pull over if you saw a missing or hurt animal. You never missed a single game of his and were always yelling his name the loudest, his spare jersey engulfing your figure and his number written on your face in the school's colors.

Sometimes he'd even take you to the gym. He enjoyed the way you'd gawk at his muscular arms and defined abs between sets, purposefully lifting up his shirt to wipe the sweat off of his face in order to give you a better show.

Other times he'd sit in your room with you, drawing shapes into your thigh as you geeked out about whatever interest you had. It didn't matter to him. If he was being completely honest, he only half payed attention. He did however remember enough to get you the best presents relating to the topic.

Despite his kind demeanor, he has zero tolerance for anyone who puts you down in any way, shape, or form. When girls hit on him while his arm is draped around your waist he gives them a confused look and explains he's (obviously) taken. When they don't back down he immediately gets snarky, unlike how almost anyone's ever seen him before. He wouldn't leave you for anyone, especially not a girl who's blackout drunk and throwing herself at every guy inside that bar.

He supports you in anything and everything you do, whether big or small. Chaotic or calm. Whether it's posting a couples picture on Instagram or dying your hair neon green or starting a new career venture. Whatever you want, he makes sure you get.

Also. People still thinking sidereal Aries individuals act like this extroverted interactive stereotype is what's making them confused. And this is why I couldn't fully relate to my Aries placements in tropical. I'm not super expressive like that. Yes, it turned out I was Pisces in sidereal. But I still have major Aries placements. I am private and internal, my mind is the most active but I'm outwardly passive. I seem intense and confident in my blog, but irl I'm withdrawn and I prefer to be alone — I don't speak much and I master a lot to say something, words are used a lot on my blog but I'm not much of a talker unless I'm being intentional. I can be charismatic and influential because I've watched a lot of movies and stolen certain mannerisms and personality traits which resonate with me. I know how to make a room chuckle. I've often been told I'm good at speeches and talking, even though I'm quiet. I'm a brooder and the mysterious label has been used on me, or I'm labelled as ‘shy’. I see so many Ashwinis like this, even the unstable ones. And this is why it's so easy to discount many possible, potential sidereal Aries Moons too. “Cillian can't be Ashwini, he's too introverted and Ashwinis are very insane intense people.” Forgetting that Ketu co-rules Ashwini. Ketu causes introversion, detachment... I spoke of this. Ketu is also related to ethereality, otherworldliness. Ketu nakshatras are known for their inclination to absorbing and consuming knowledge, making for some book-ish people. I remember the first time ever when I claimed that Tom Hiddleston can be a possible Ashwini Moon on here. I shook a lot of followers of mine. I think I was the first person ever to suggest this here, but I was just contemplating a lot of things that time and it personally resonated (and not because I'm Ashwini myself, it was just intuitive? Still, both Cillian and Tom are unconfirmed).

My point is, stop perceiving sidereal Aries people from this limited lens. I don't see them in the way people describe Aries only. The chaos and intensity usually manifests privately, or artistically. The Ketu rulership means the natives are supposed to be a distant mystery, they're enchanting, but they're out of reach. That is Beyonce.

Even Bharanis are different outwardly. Although I talked about themes of aggression, violence and superiority when it comes to Venus nakshatras, they don't always come across that way outwardly. Their fire element doesn't always show for us. Venus can come off sentimental, even romantic. Jamie Campbell Bower, with Bharani Moon, comes across fashionable, fanciful and chill, for example. The nakshatra lord is often influencing the outward perception of the sign.

Daniel Day Lewis has Ashwini Moon. He is just like Beyonce actually. Very private, hard to track, INSANE WORK ETHIC, and in interviews he's extremely calm, controlled and even seems like an introverted shy sweetheart. With Ketu especially, everything is not what it seems. We don't know Beyonce, we don't know her internal processes. But these are ARIES natives. Ketu makes for passivity, an out-of reach or withdrawn person, so of course she won't come off as what we think Aries is! But if you actually pay attention to all of her works, she is intense and incredibly passionate and Martian. "I'm a Martian, they wishin' they equal," she definitely wrote that lyric knowing she's an Aries Rising.

Ashwinis make for really, really intense artists. Hello?? Daniel Day Lewis?? Again with him. He does not come off like an Aries, but if you have followed his acting career, you can just seeeee the fire. The art reflects inner processes. I repeat, art reflects inner processes. Pay attention to the art, not the fucking visuals, I mean the messages, the portrayals, the energy and the effort they put in their work. Your basic knowledge of Ashwini should be from all the copy pasted facts found in many websites about Ashwini which states that those born under Ashwini influence have the strength and stamina of horses. Have you people seen how thoroughbreds run on that field and train? Beyonce's stamina and work ethic for her performances reminds me of that exactly.

Stop limiting yourself to perceptions of vanity, beauty and outward “personalities” to one thing only. My goodness. This is why I support people making fun of astrology lmao. Allow yourself to see the layers and nuances to one nakshatra. Ashwini energy can be hardass and chaotic but the natives can also be internally hyperactive — though outwardly cool, calm, calculating and collected. And I explored this aspect before.

In this post, I talked about the differences between how Rahu and Ketu is perceived. I clearly gave more examples of Ketu nakshatras having one appear introspective and shy, while Rahuvians are perceived as a lot more polarizing, controversial and outwardly passionate. But that's just the nodes causing distortions because fundamentally, the rashis are what signify the underlying temperament. Ashwini and Swati are vastly different temperamentally. Also, Rahu wants to be seen, so Beyonce being Swati makes no sense. She is extremely quiet, distant and private.

Magnus is Alec's life and Alec is Magnus's death

One minor post to dive into this new theory I have. We know there are a lot of parallels and symmetries between malec: angel/demon, moon/sun, introvert/extrovert, silver/gold, etc Then I start thinking deeper into this tendency of their dynamic to push and pull each other, and come to this

1. Magnus is Alec's life

In the sense that Magnus has helped save Alec's life countless times, it was established in their small breadcrumbs in one of their earliest interaction, when he saved Alec from the demon poison. One can say this quite literally set the foundation of their relationship, as Alec asked Magnus out while visiting Magnus to say thank you for saving his life

He also saved Alec again during the gang's journey to Edom, even though Magnus wasn't present. Alec's hallucination, caused by the demons, includes a lot of people, yet Magnus is the one who snaps him out of it, insisting that life is worth living more than fantasy.

Magnus also brings life to Alec in a metaphorical sense, "breathing a new life" into him. Opening his eyes to new beauties, chances, and people, letting Alec know that yes, he is built for storybook moments too

Magnus is his biggest muse, inspiration. Magnus makes him strive every day to make the world a better place. Alec wants to be better for Magnus, for their family, he loves him so much, he will bend and break the narrative for the future in which Magnus can be happy

Is it because somehow Magnus got the worst luck in existence and keeps kissing death every two months and stressing his friends and family out? Maybe. But this kind of proves Alec is present a lot during Magnus' perceived final hour

Many times, people have told Magnus Alec will be "the death of him", referencing how his angelic blood and family will make him eventually choose his shadowhunter community above all else, and abandoning Magnus (not featured pictures, cause honestly there are like a lot). I kind of find it interesting how it ties up to Magnus's perception of himself, and eventually of Alec, like when he's kind of implying Alec should prioritize his life over Magnus's here

3. We Have to Talk About The Black and White Impermanence

I don't see people talk about this a lot, but from the way I interpret it, Magnus, too, has his own trial with the sword in The Lost Book of the White, and he passes it. He gives "mercy" to Alec, making Shiyun spares Alec's life. By submitting to Sammael, he literally gives "life" to Alec, while Alec brings "death" to him via death of the self, because Magnus's biggest fear is becoming a demon (stated he would rather be killed than that)

Kinda funny how people in the PJO universe and in the fandom get it wrong. Nico and Will are like what people expect from the other.

Like Will Solace is the more intimidating one. Like he has a "doesn't take shit" vibe to him. Not to mention he is more of a modern teenage boy than Nico. And like most teens. He has teenage boy energy meaning he is sassy and probably had a sharp tongue to him. He can also be an asshole not in like a bad way just in the regular teenage boy way. Like how he was in sun and star about like Tartarus and the underworld all that shit.

Nico is the gentleman. He is powerful yes. But he wouldn't hurt a fly. Like he is one of the nicest characters in Percy jackson. Even if he doesn't show it. He is Hella soft let's be so deadass. Like he is the most forgiving and most sensitive. He just learnt to hide his enthusiasm and gentleness and sensitivity to survive. He is also a lover. He has such a caring heart. Great with people. Great with understanding people and stuff. That's why Hestia liked him. He sees the "plutos (the planet). The left out.

And at the end of the day they are truly two sides of the same coin. Two people who started off one way, but their life experiences and perceptions of who they actually are based on their roles and parentage shaped them to who they had to be. How they had to act. Because Will Solace was an introverted sassy bitch at heart and Nico di Angelo was an extroverted gentle yapper. But they had to adjust to fit their roles accordingly.

How to know what planet's/ planets' influence you are under currently (at any time/period)

For one reason or another, because there are a lot of factors at play. Mostly these planets are an influence if they are sitting in one of the nakshatras ruled by your mahadasha and antardasha lords. For example, if you're going through Sun mahadadha or antardasha, look for planets sitting in Krittika, Uttara Phalguni and/or Uttara Ashadha. Planets also influence you when they transit through your 1st house or join your natal sun, moon or rising, maybe even atmakaraka or chart ruler. You can also look for the planet that rules your current mahadasha or antardasha. Don't look at these as exact and all-encompassing and please observe your life yourself🤍

Sun: life feels simple, you feel more confident, you are more sure of things, you're rarely afraid, you feel a little lonely but peaceful, you're not afraid to speak your mind, you feel like you have to support yourself, you don't like asking for help, you do little things for others without much thought, you don't mind doing things alone and being alone in general, you have a need to self-actualize and avoid dependancy.

Moon: a lot of feelings are meshing together, it feels like whenever you look what you see has relevance, you feel safe but surreal, you just "know" or "feel/suspect" things, prone to doubt and suspicions, you indulge in fiction, you feel easily influenced, you feel more "home", you feel vulnerable but in an empowering way, you're perceptive, you go with the flow.

Mercury: you like to do things in your particular way these days, you're in your head mostly, you want to change some things about yourself and most things around you, you feel more neurotic, you think quickly, you seek privacy, you put on a mask, you feel impressed by yourself, you pay attention to details, you're easily influenced by things others find arbitrary, you become a masterful problem solver, you are extremely selective and discriminating.

Venus: you live in the physical world willingly and often with pleasure, you become more ruthless and discriminating, you are not prone to giving up, you see your values more clearly, you focus on your values, you don't feel shame for indulging in your wants, you don't accomodate to most people and are careful before wasting your energy, you see how "pure" others are to you and treat them accordingly, you don't want to make noise or attract much attention. Jupiter: you seek the higher meaning and higher things in life, you try to be kind and considerate, you're extremely concerned about your and others' morals and doing things the right way, you seek out and find spirituality, you don't mind being humble, you try to be "good", you find abundance and ease around you, you feel lucky, life feels effortless a lot of the time, you struggle with making difficult choices, you've commited to praying more, you feel empathy more.

Saturn: you are aware of the limitations and the conventions around you and in your life, you try to achieve things, you try to fit into roles, you feel alright but not the best, you feel judged, you're building a tough shell or growing thick skin, you don't mind doing the work, you don't mind the reality, you're slowly but surely moving towards your goals (or anywhere), you value boundaries, you want to work quietly, you start to face your fears and wounds.

Rahu: anxiety is present and you have to deal with it, you really want to do things you've been wanting to do since forever, you are aware of others' perception of you, you are aware of how things look, you might feel like an imposter, you feel the need to go your own way, you're tired of old narratives, you value authenticity and independence, you try not to judge others because you hate to be judged (but you can't help but coldly analyze others), you never seem to be satisfied, you indulge in fiction more (especially films and series), you want to try new things.

Ketu: life starts to make sense, you can predict less and less how life will feel in the immediate future, you let go of things, you want to get to the bottom of things, you feel like just saying things, you want to isolate, you feel like nobody really understands you, you're not sure how to feel, you restrain yourself from acting most of the time, you realize things you can't fully explain, you rely on your inner world, some things feel really heavy, life might slap you in the face, you feel grateful for simple things, you keep to yourself more, you accept life as it comes.

hot take time!!

i've heard a lot of people say that todd gets mischaracterized in that people start blending ethan's personality with him to make him goofier or whatever, including like the deleted cave scene and whatnot.

but the thing to me is like, that is his character though—if you know what I mean. at that point in the story, it's evident he's come out of his shell a bit, he's gained some confidence, and more importantly, he feels like he fits in with the other boys. this is like SUPER evident the night of the play, he's messing around with them when they're getting ready, he's super duper excited to see neil, i mean—he's comfortable.

i think because it all gets taken away so quickly and BECAUSE we don't see that cave scene and his poem after the play, it just cuts so quickly to neil having died and a somewhat reversion to his previous self (albeit NOT entirely because he wouldn't have stood on the desk at the end if he didn't have an arc) people forget how much he had really opened up.

obviously, yes, neil was a huge part of it, and losing him made todd falter for SURE, especially beyond anyone else. but i think his arc is WHY that was so detrimental. neil (with the aid of mr keating as well) showed him the joys of opening up, of standing up for the inherent fact that you believe you should. so of course, that person that showed him everything being gone so suddenly would cut deep—but it doesn't mean that he hadn't changed, it doesn't mean he lost that will to stand, because he still did.

so to me, that little part of the story where he's almost extroverted in a sense, goofing around with the other boys, happy for neil, reading his own poem aloud, etc. is where he was more of himself than he had ever been, at least in a long time.

obviously i haven't psycho-analyzed todd's character nearly as much as some of the others, but that's how i see it. it's another case of, again, both lack of denouement and over-generalization by the fandom when it comes to the character, which creates that perception.

NATIONALITY. i truly believe that this man is half polish from his mother’s side and half scottish from his father’s side.

his maternal side of the family settled in northern scotland during the world war two to escape the german occupation. at first it was supposed to be temporary — to stay there until the war ends, but they settled down in the outskirts of inverness, though they never forgot about their heritage, speaking their native language, remembering the history and making sure that their descendants wouldn’t forget about their family’s past.

his mother would continue the tradition, speaking to her only son in her family’s mother tongue. due to the lack of conversation with his father, he barely spoke any english, when he first got to hogwarts, he understood lots of what was said to him, but communicating back was troubling for him at first.

back when his mother was still alive, she would take him to poland, to show him their family’s hometown. after she passed away due to suicide, combined with her progressing schizophrenia around his tenth birthday, he hasn’t returned to his mother’s country until post-war.

FRIENDS. he didn’t have too many friends at first nor wanted to make any in the first place. the first person he spoke to was daphne greengrass.

his poor english with a rough accent, mixed of polish and scottish, made it hard for him to be understood by his peers in the train, making theo seem as an arrogant and egocentric twelve-years old boy, who thought he was better than the others that approached him. theo felt alienated, but couldn’t speak his mind, because his peers would make fun of the way he speaks.

back in the first term of first year, his roommates weren’t speaking to him. thanks to daphne, who let him took his time to figure out what he wanted to say, he met his gang and switched dorms with one of them, which resulted in sharing a room with mattheo and lorenzo.

even though he had a small group of friends, his closest were daphne and mattheo. the alienation he felt earlier was lifted off his shoulders, knowing that there were still people that would be there for him. ever since his mom died, he felt like his world was shattered into pieces, the feeling only intensifying, when his father forbid him from seeing the side of the family he grew up with, the good side that let him be a boy.

his friendship with daphne was strong throughout years as she often invited him to the countryside, where her family’s mansion was, often disappearing into thin air at the crack of dawn till the late evening, wandering around the streets of a muggle towns nearby her house, causing troubles with the rest of their friends.

PERSONALITY.

it wasn’t a surprise for anyone that learnt about his background that despite coming off as an extrovert, theodore was really quiet and perceptive guy, who kept lots of things to himself. not a lot of people knew about his mom’s life and the way it ended as his father made sure that everyone thought she died of an unspecified illness.

seeing his mom’s schizophrenia progressing in his early years, leading to her suicide had taken a toll on him. he believed that it was his father’s fault for everything bad that happened to the person he loved the most as he tried isolating her from her family, and when that didn’t work out the way he wanted, abusing her mentally and physically. after her passing, the abuse continued, this time, theodore was at the end of the stick. his father’s behaviour making theo distrustful and hostile towards male figures in his life, especially authorities.

despite his quietness, lots of girls at school were falling in front of him to get at least an ounce of his attention for themselves. it might be the brooding state he’s often is in. he, as well as his friends, is often the subject of interest of people in his year and below. usually, he attends the parties in the common rooms to keep up with his reputation.

theo’s really indifferent towards things that don’t matter much to him, like said reputation, or for example his grades. though, he doesn’t care about his academics as much as he does about quidditch, he’s exceptionally intelligent and talented, picking up things in a speed of light. he’s not one to refuse helping others (=his friends) and he often tutors mattheo before exams to make sure they both pass the year.

he gets angry, whenever someone compares him to his father, what happens when someone hears his last name. during this time or immediately after, he can get outbursts of anger and needs a smoke (preferably a joint) to numb his mind. if he doesn’t have anything on him, which rarely happens, then if you’re in a line of fire, a visit to hospital wing is the only way out.

whenever he comes back to school from the christmas break, his panic attacks are more frequent, usually accompanied by the image of his dead mom. the panic attack that he would never forget was during his third year, when his boggart showed him his mom’s lifeless body, triggering something inside him.

MISCELLANEOUS.

theo’s super tall, making him stand out from the crowd. when he was measured by miss pomfrey in year five, she told him that he’s around six foot five. he used to be a short kid, but once he started growing, he couldn’t stop — stretch marks on his stomach has fainted over the years.

he doesn’t like mixed alcohol. as a teenager with polish genes, theodore doesn’t mix his alcohol with any juice or soda to make the bitterness go away faster. when he drinks, he does it neat, no matter the type. whether he drinks tequilla, vodka, whiskey or wine, he never adds anything. and when he does want to make the taste go away faster, he eats pickled cucumbers.

has bad anxiety. as i said earlier, theo’s bad anxiety and with each year passing, it only gets worse. his panic attacks are more frequent and it often goes in a pair with any contact from his father.

music taste. the music he listens to is dependent on his mood. whenever he’s alone in his dorm, he blasts polish songs and bands, especially dżem, because it was his mom’s favorite rock-blues band. he’s also a big fan of the smiths and simple minds.

blood status. he doesn’t care about any of it, mostly because that’s what his mom taught him — blood status doesn’t define a person, their actions do. even if she didn’t, he would probably still pretty much indifferent to the blood status of people around him, just to do the opposite of what his father wants.

substances. he’s go to substance is weed. he doesn’t smoke as much as people think, he likes to smoke a joint on a chilly summer morning or after a stressful day. he definitely drinks much more, but not to the point, when he can’t live without it. it’s not a secret that once in a while, he pops mdma at parties.

AS A BOYFRIEND. or more specific, your boyfriend.

possessive. as much as he doesn’t like admitting it, he doesn’t like sharing too much. he’s an only child, who grew up alone most of the time, so sharing never came easy to him. he tries to fight it though, knowing that being super possessive isn’t something healthy. he knows how to read people, so when there’s a guy hanging around you, who’s clearly interested in you, he makes sure to be somewhere around you to shift your focus from the annoying prick to him, while still being gentle with you. he wraps his arm around your waist, pulling you closer to his side to leave a kiss on the top of your head, before glaring expectantly at the boy.

communicative. being able to communicate his feelings and thoughts with others weren’t a bother to theodore, he hardly ever spoke to anyone about his troubles, bottling everything up until it popped. but when it comes to you? this guy makes sure that you know he has nothing to hide from you. he’s upset? you’re the one he talks to. he’s angry? you’re the only one able to calm him down. he wants you to know that you’re the one he cares about the most.

protective. this guy loves you to bits and loves everything you do, so when you show him the outfit you plan on wearing, he doesn’t comment on it in any way that could come off as negative, not that he wants to but forces himself to shut up, no, theodore couldn’t even think of something else to say that comolimenting the way you look or telling you all the things he’d love to, and will do to you later. back, when the two of you started dating and you went out somewhere, he always repeated the same thing, wear whatever you want, baby, i can fight. and he definitely would fight for you if you ever asked (what probably will never happen, because no matter how hot he looks sometimes, you hate seeing him hurt). or fight anyone, who does as much as look at you funny, and knowing his friends? they wouldn’t pull him away from the fight, no, they would jump right in to help him.

love language. his love language is acts of service and physical touch. his hands always have to be somewhere on your body, whether it’s his arm slung around your shoulders or wrapped around your waist, his hand on your hip, thigh, his thigh touching yours. it’s not only that he likes to touch you, but he hates when you’re next to him, but not close enough to calm his mind that he might lose you. also, theodore is not the best with words, so he won’t write you a few pages long letter, but what he will do is remember small details of what you tell him, like your favorite brands of sweets, crisps, your favorite flavor of cakes or cookies to always have at least one of those in his bag. he’s the guy who would drive from inverness to the south of england if you ever needed him. you’re sick? one message and theo’s there to take care of you. you like a book, but have no one to talk to about it? he’s gonna read the book just to hear you ramble.

from the very beginning of your relationship with him, you perceived dottore as knew dottore was way more of a recluse than the average man. 

(not that he can even be compared to the average man anyways, but... regardless.) 

your perception of him has always been of a wise, intelligent man (you would describe him as nerdy to get under his skin). you have an easy time picturing him hunched over an ornate desk while jotting down lab reports, or even imagining him elbow-deep into a carcass to study its organs—all things you doubt an extroverted, energetic person would willingly put themselves through day after day. 

which is why you never batted an eye when you would wake up to a cold bed in the morning. you didn’t question him when he would tell you that he just has to get to work early, because you already had an inkling that you knew why he decided to leave the comfort of your shared bed at such ungodly hours. 

going to his lab before dawn breaks would allow him to be alone and to enjoy some peace and quiet before his underlings and segments turn the comfortable silence in his office to a muffled cacophony of arguments. surely, being as driven as he is, he would sacrifice a few hours of sleep (and comfort beside you) to further the myriad of projects he has to keep on the backburner. 

the walk to his office is quiet; save for the occasional chill passing through the halls, you find a sense of comfort in being within your beloved’s personal quarters—as if you’re enveloped in a big, warm hug by yours truly. you’ve visited his laboratory enough times to know your way around, so instead of feeling like a lost deer faced by bright headlights, you stroll on through the familiar halls with a pep in your step. 

the lack of personnel makes your already short trek even shorter, seeing as you don’t have to halt for small talk, and you’re promptly met by sight of the large, ornate oak door separating dottore’s office to his lab. 

you forego knocking—you’re supposed to catch him hard at work, come up from behind and engulf him in a loving hug and pepper him with kisses—knocking would reveal the surprise! 

and so, you carefully hold onto the flat doorknob, turning it until it’s vertical, and step into his office. 

you’ve always pictured him as the nerdy loser-esque type outside of that intimidating harbinger facade—what you never in a million years would have imagined was the sight of il dottore himself on a Stairmaster machine, a stapled document in hand, while practically sweating the entirety of his water weight away. 

naturally, you’ve seen him bare before; though all previous moments of intimacy had been limited to the two of you either beneath your bedsheets and/or your bodies being just barely visible due to the lack of sunlight shining through your bedroom window. he wasn’t one to show off his body, and you never questioned that boundary. 

but, while you stood there in shock unable to think of anything, a little voice in your head was appalled that he had the gall to hide this from you especially after you’ve inquired about the meaning behind his and his coworkers’ rankings before. 

(“hey 'ttoreeeee,” you drawl, stirring the small decorative spoon in your coffee. a quiet, drawn-out sigh graces your ears before his voice does, “what?” 

“how are you second?” you ask somewhat vaguely, choosing to take a bite out of your muffin before elaborating further. “i mean, you’re a pretty normal guy compared to the other high-ranking harbingers. capitano looks like he came straight from the medieval times, and columbina looks like a fucked-up interpretation of a seraphim that came to life.” 

a scoff—one of amusement you’re sure—breaches his lips. “i left all of my unique features to my segments,” he hums. dottore leisurely sips his drink, a twinkle of humor lighting up his scarlet irises. “but either way, it would be quite shallow of the tsaritsa if she appointed our ranks based on physical appearance. we’re all ranked by strength, essentially.” 

you hum, thrown deep in thought. capitano makes sense since he’s built like a brick wall, and columbina is an entire enigma in it of itself. since there’s no way they’re only based on influence and intellect, that means... 

“could you, hypothetically, drop down and do fifty push-ups without breaking a sweat?”  

the man sitting across from you laughs, the reaction filling you with anticipation. but much to your dismay, dottore didn’t take the opportunity to honor his ranking. instead, he just took another dip of his drink and answered with a casual; 

“perhaps.”) 

and by the tsaritsa he could have given you fifty and then some. 

though you knew your way around, you had never truly explored his personal office. he had shown you the main laboratory area where a plethora of ruin guard parts threaten to trip you over at all times, a handful of dissection rooms, and his segments’ working quarters. they were the most popular parts of haeresys and you had no business waltzing around unsupervised anyways, so he didn’t think you would find much interest within his own personal gym. 

the room itself was huge; if you hadn’t known otherwise, you would have absolutely thought this was some sort of luxury fitness center. there’s only one of each machine (which makes sense given you highly doubt dottore would let anyone else in the gym with him), but that didn't make the place any less furnished. 

there’s your standard dumbbell and kettlebell rack alongside a bench with multiple heavy plates nearby, a treadmill, a lat pull down machine, a leg press machine and so much more. there’s even some stuff you’ve never even seen before— 

“what are you doing here?” 

his voice abruptly pulls you out of your state of shock, forcing you to look at him and oh my god you can see the outlines of his muscles through his shirt. 

you swallow before speaking, knowing your voice would crack; to no avail. “i, uh, i just. w-well...” you murmur sheepishly, brain absolutely fried from whatever this was. 

pausing his set and putting down whatever work-related document he was reading, dottore turns his full attention to you. “i’m a little busy over here, dear,” he sighs. “i only have...” ruby irises glance over at the wall, catching sight of the clock reading the time, “...an hour and fourteen minutes before i need to head to a meeting. are you going to spit it out or will i have to reboot your brain for you?” 

oh so now he’s sassing you. 

“well excuse ME, I’M not the one hiding an olympian physique from my partner!” you complain, feeling a mix of embarrassment, frustration and very strong attraction. yes, you had felt his body up before, but feeling and seeing are two completely different things...! 

“well, are you mad about it?” 

“...” 

you pick up your jaw before you start drooling and take the time to let your eyes roll over his body. his biceps were defined, forearms looked delicious, pecs looked squishy, quads looked utterly biteable... not only did he look good objectively, but seeing him in casual clothes—a simple tee shirt and loose pants—made you feel a certain type of way... 

“...can you drop down and give me a hundred push-ups and also say my name between each one?”
