Unbiased: Is it true that the SAVE Act will take away the right to vote for married women who have changed their last name?
Disclaimer: I am neither Republican nor Democrat. Everything is purely unbiased and factual. This is false, but we need some context here:
The SAVE Act, officially known as the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act, was first introduced last year. Its main goal is to require documentary proof of U.S. citizenship for individuals registering to vote in federal elections.
Currently, while only U.S. citizens are allowed to vote in federal elections, the Supreme Court precedent states that documentary proof is not required—it is sufficient to simply attest to citizenship under penalty of perjury. As a result, not all states require proof of citizenship when registering voters. However, if the SAVE Act is passed, this would change.
Under this proposed law, voters would need to provide proof of citizenship with a document that meets REAL ID requirements in order to have their voter registration application accepted for federal elections. This could include a passport or another government-issued ID, but if using a non-passport ID, the applicant would also need to present a birth certificate or a similar document, such as a naturalization certificate. It is important to note that this requirement applies only to federal elections—state election requirements may differ.
Concerns About Married Women and Name Changes
Since the bill’s introduction, concerns have been raised about how it might impact married women who have changed their last names. Some claim that the SAVE Act could effectively prevent married women from voting. However, the bill does not explicitly bar married women from voting.
The concern arises from the bill’s requirement that a birth certificate must include the applicant’s full name, date of birth, and place of birth. For a married woman who has legally changed her last name, her birth certificate will not reflect her new surname, which may create an issue when presenting a government-issued photo ID.
However, the bill does not explicitly state that the name on the birth certificate and the name on the government-issued ID must match exactly in order to be accepted. If discrepancies arise, applicants may need to provide additional documentation, such as a marriage certificate, to verify their name change. This aligns with existing government processes where name discrepancies can be resolved by presenting legal documentation.
Since the bill has not yet been passed, the exact implementation of these requirements remains unclear. However, it is important to emphasize that claims suggesting the bill outright bans married women from voting are false. Furthermore, a woman’s right to vote is protected by the U.S. Constitution under the 19th Amendment. For this right to be revoked, a new constitutional amendment would need to be passed, which is highly unlikely.
What Happens Next?
The bill previously passed the House of Representatives in the last congressional session, with support from five Democrats and 216 Republicans. However, since that session has ended, it must pass the House again before moving to the Senate, where it would need to overcome the filibuster before a final vote.

Freedom of speech is not freedom from consequences.
Antisemitic hate speech isn’t just words—it leads to harassment, violence, and real harm. Yet, when Jews call it out, we’re accused of suppressing free speech. The same people who condemn other forms of hate often defend Jew-hatred under the guise of “free expression.”
Social media platforms, workplaces, and universities take action against other hate speech—so why is antisemitism treated differently? Supporting terrorist groups, inciting violence, and spreading conspiracy theories have real consequences. It’s time to end the double standard.

To be as clear as I can be, the second Trump administration with Elon Musk embedded within it represents the most direct and sustained threat to the First Amendment and the freedom of the press any of us will ever experience. If you’re a media executive or editorial leader and you haven’t met with your legal team to understand the current landscape of First Amendment threats, let alone the ones to come, you’re already behind. Get on it.

Another student in Canada was suspended for voicing her opposition to genocide. Please send an email to support Arij Al Khafagi, disciplined for opposing Israeli violence.
ACT NOW
Arij Al Khafagi, a fourth year nursing student, was recently suspended from the Bachelor of Nursing Program at the U. of Manitoba, with a five-year reprimand on her academic transcript! Despite being an exemplary student, and president of the Nursing Students' Association, Arij was harshly disciplined for social media posts she had made which were critical of Israel's violence against Palestinians. With no concern for the trauma Arij felt as an Arab student, and without consulting neutral experts on racism, the U. of Manitoba caved to vague criticisms that Arij's posts opposing Israeli violence were antisemitic.

Go to the link below to send an email to the President and executives of the U. of Manitoba. Arij must be reinstated, and free speech at the U. of Manitoba must be protected.

A lot of these younger people are idealizing Communism right now, which I feel is very typical of younger people. Don't get me wrong, I love how Gen Z has been more politically active than ever.
Looking to Rednote and then saying, "Wow, their country is so much better than mine," because TikTok is going away is a whole different matter. It's looking at the top percent of people in that country (with the highest social credit score) and then saying "Man, I wish that we could have it that way."
What's ironic, and also not, is the fact that our own country would even allow an app like #Rednote to be available through the application store, esp. when citing the dangers of TikTok. I don't really trust a lot about our government anymore. I believe this movement to Rednote is just a movement to where our government already wants our country to head. It gives younger people this illusion of free speech when there isn't any.
Many on the app have cited that "Americans think they have free speech" while so many cannot get a car or own a home if they think bad thoughts towards their government. Many in Shanghai have gotten ahead holding multinational corporations, kind of like our own, that exploit people overseas for their labor.
The irony is looking into a subjugated economic system, seeing it, and going "Ah, that's a country with free choice." Especially when the government had said, "You will own nothing and be happy" or when Immanuel Wallerstein said the only way to make an economic movement in the world is to subjugate the entire planet to a system where almost no one can make any money.
It's pretty obvious that this is not a proxy war. Especially with the shared companies, the bought-up farms, and the similar political structure. I simply reject that. Instead, look at the other social media platforms such as Meta where you simply do not have any free speech unless your own social credit score is high. Where studies (such as on the pharmaceutical industry or mold poisoning), are hidden from the public or unfinished because there simply is no financial incentive behind them (and the people are "better not knowing the truth.")
A radical shift in conscientiousness is looking outside the looking glass, looking at the powers that be and asking where they want to go. If they were so ready to kill people against the federal reserve back in the day, imagine what they are doing now.
Then ask yourself if there can be a world where almost everyone is free. Where humanitarian efforts thrive, and people speak their mind regularly with the thoughts of betterment of the whole.
I think we need to accept the fact that humans are more than capable of governing ourselves rather than giving that power to a few elected people who think they should run everything. That, somehow, God gave them the right similar to a King. This is the 2025. We are more than capable.

This injustice should not go unanswered!
The injustice of the situation is absolutely mind-boggling. Rebecca Lavrenz, lovingly referred to as the “J6 Praying Grandma,” has been handed down a sentence that is nothing short of outrageous. How can it be that a woman who simply exercised her right to peacefully protest is now facing six long and arduous months of house arrest? This is a blatant attack on her freedom, an assault on her constitutional rights.
To add insult to injury, the court has also demanded that Lavrenz pay a staggering $100k fine. This punishment is not only excessive but completely disproportionate to her alleged crime. How can they justify such a massive financial burden for an act of protest? It is clear that this is nothing more than an attempt to silence and intimidate anyone who dares to challenge the status quo.
It is evident that the powers that be are attempting to make an example out of Lavrenz, a grandmother who did nothing more than pray at the U.S. Capitol on that fateful day. The fact that she is being targeted in this way is a clear indication of the lengths they will go to suppress dissent and maintain their grip on power.
This is not justice; this is tyranny. The authorities may think they can crush the spirit of those who dare to question, but they are gravely mistaken. The more they try to silence us, the louder we will become. We will not be silenced, we will not be intimidated, and we will continue to fight for our rights, no matter the cost. Rebecca Lavrenz, the “J6 Praying Grandma,” stands as a symbol of resilience and defiance in the face of oppression.
We must band together, mobilize, and make sure that our voices are heard at the ballot box. This is not just about one individual; it is about the future of our democracy. So let us rise up, united in our determination to make a change and ensure that justice prevails.
This injustice should not go unanswered. It is imperative that we rise up and make our voices heard, not just through protests or social media, but by exercising our most powerful weapon: our vote. Let this be a rallying cry for change, for a system that truly represents the will of the people. We cannot sit idly by as law-abiding citizens are subjected to such blatant disregard for their rights.

When Even Women Tell Feminists to Shut-Up And Get Back in the Kitchen… You Know the Jig Is Up.
Tumblr media
Real women don’t hate masculinity. They marry it. Raise it. And fight beside it. They don’t blame it for their failures. They don’t fear it—they rely on it.
And now?
Even women are telling feminists to get back in the kitchen… and maybe—just maybe—STFU.
Because what feminism cooked up? It tastes like bitterness, smells like loneliness, and feeds no one except their own egos...And their Cats.

Unbiased: Not ALL undocumented immigrants are "criminals"
Disclaimer: I am neither Republican nor Democrat; everything is purely factual and unbiased.
Before jumping to conclusions about immigration, I ask that you set aside any personal biases and simply hear me out. My goal isn’t to persuade you to take a particular stance on immigration policy but rather to provide accurate, fact-based information.
A common misconception in the U.S. is that all undocumented immigrants are criminals simply because they are in the country unlawfully. However, that’s not entirely true.
Entering the U.S. without legal authorization—such as crossing the border unlawfully—is a federal crime. Anyone who enters the country this way has committed a criminal offense and is a criminal.
However, not all undocumented immigrants entered illegally. Some originally came to the U.S. through legal means, such as on a visa, but later overstayed. While overstaying a visa is a violation of immigration law, it is considered a civil offense, not a criminal one—similar to receiving a speeding ticket. Breaking the law in this way does not make someone a criminal in the legal sense.
In summary, many undocumented immigrants lawfully entered the U.S. but became undocumented after their visa expired, meaning they never committed a crime. On the other hand, those who entered the country without authorization did break the law in a criminal sense.
So no, not all undocumented immigrants are criminals.

In just three short months, the Trump administration has created an atmosphere where foreigners, immigrants, and even US citizens have to watch what they say and do, particularly when it comes to criticizing and protesting the government or its political allies, but also simply in the kind of language they use. Overheated political rhetoric against corporate malfeasance can get you surveilled by the FBI or visited by the police, while tech censorship is going as strong as ever. And some are so intimidated that self-censorship on a variety of topics is rampant.
