I have been waiting for Fairy Gala Remix for so long and here is more of my Ortho cosplay that I spent way too much time on, now that the second half of the event is finally here! Shoutout to random person in the background that made this gif 10x better. No filters, the costume is just that sparkly.

(Technically I evolved more, since this was the first iteration of this costume and it was later upgraded with better bottom legs, more secure wings that don’t flip over, smoother shoulder pads, and other fixes) (I’ll be posting a video on my insta today at KaseiCosplay if anyone wants to see more movement!) i was so hyped when fairy gala remix came out, this ortho is hands-down the prettiest ssr in the game. i sketched this out in hopes of making a print once it's finished, but i'm not sure when that'll be. please enjoy this WIP for now! 🌸✨️

¡¡¡TACHHAN!!! ¡I have finally finished the drawing and with a lot of pride and joy!

The truth is that it has been one of the most difficult drawings and that has taken me the longest time to draw so far; However, I loved the final result

Since I saw the event design I had to draw it no matter how much detail it had, and it's also probably because Ortho is one of my favorite characters~

Although I think I can improve the drawing, and the details aren't exactly as the original design, I think it turned out quite well, especially the coloring in its 2 versions.

Finally, I leave the link of the “Speed Paint” [Below ⬇⬇] And I hope you like the drawing as much as I do.

¡¡TADA!!! Al fin he terminado el dibujo y con mucho orgullo y alegría!!

La verdad que ha sido uno de los dibujos mas difíciles y que mas tiempo me ha tomado en hacer hasta ahora, sin embargo me ha encantado el resultado final 

Desde que vi el diseño del evento tenia que dibujarlo sin importar la cantidad de detalles que tenia, y también probablemente sea porque Ortho es uno de mis personajes favoritos~

Aunque opino que puedo mejorar el dibujo, y los detalles del dibujo no son tan exactos al diseño original, pienso que me me ha quedado bastante bien, sobre todo el coloreado en sus 2 versiones.

Por ultimo, Os dejo el link del “Speed Paint” [Abajo ⬇⬇] Y espero que os guste el dibujo tanto como a mi.

I didn’t post anything about it here yet, but, in fact, I do have an AU in which both Shrouds are alive (...and equally traumatized, lol). And, well, I drew the human Ortho from it wearing the fairy ballerina outfit~

I might’ve given him the normal Fairy Gala clothes that are less... revealing, so to say, but come on, this was much more fun to do.

...some more stuff about my take on this AU and his personality in it, as well as one silly sketch:

Ortho is a first-year and also a goddamn menace. He’s very clearly not as nice as the robot Ortho is, and resembles Idia much more, but doesn’t have the “shy and awkward” debuff, and, because of this, he is a goblin AND also is pretty socially active. I’d probably call him a fuse of Floyd, Cater and Idia, in a way.

...Also he’s overprotective of his older brother, and while he maybe wouldn’t bite your face off if you do something he considers worthy of revenge, but he’ll surely find a way to make your life a living hell. 

But when he’s not in a bad mood, he’s actually pretty chill. It’s hard to say what he’s thinking about, though.

The ‘silly sketch’ I’ve promised:

I didn’t exactly think about the “why is Ortho still on the main role if he probably doesn’t fit the theme as well as the robot Ortho does”, and I know Vil chose him himself in the original story, but... It’s just here for the laughs.

After giving much thought to who I’d like to see confess their feelings first, Silver or Sebek (despite the more likely outcome that they realize they’ve been in love and in a relationship for quite a while*), I was all wishy washy with my response and it basically came down to “it depends on my mood that day.”

That said, the one more likely to confess first would be Sebek. Who we already know from the Ghost Bride event has received questionable romantic advice from Lilia. (But then, so has Silver.**)

Anyway, I think Sebek would definitely be romantic about it, and penning a missive would totally be up his alley. He enjoys reading. He is open with his admiration. Look at how he speaks about the coming of spring.

Listen to him talk! He is a romantic with very strong feelings about string lights. And I know I posted, in response to an Ask about why I ship Silbek, how Sebek has openly praised Silver to others (in this every same event!).

I think when it comes to confessing to Silver, though, Sebek would need to make a ridiculous production out of it. Because it’s Silver. And if Sebek has any inkling that Silver feels the same? He will not be outdone! This is one time when he will show Silver that he is the best at wooing!

I hate it here😭😭 I thought I missed out on Epel’s keys, but I made it in time. So, I spent them again on Ortho’s banner only to get one feather to drop. Which means no SSR. I was like “screw it.” Spent another 300 gems, and still nothing! At this point, I’m just unsure of what to do. I tried one more time, and look at him! On the first pull of the 70th roll! Ortho, why do you torture me! There go my gems for Glorious Masquerade😂

Was gonna wait until twst eng got the Fairy Gala if event, but I’m too hyped about my Fairy Gala Ortho cosplay. Some bits I’m gonna improve on, but for the most part I’m happy with how he came out!

Thanks very much to anyone at Katsucon who spoke to me! Everyone was so nice! (Some facts about the costume: I can see though the eyepiece! Kinda! It’s a bit blurry but I can see important things like walls and movement. The shoes are also really comfy! I tore the purchased shoes apart and made the new ones like high heeled slippers. No 3d printing was used at all! It’s all foam and fabric. Over 200 LED lights! There’s a hidden mickey on the wings!)
