The Divine Essence of Truth and the Love of Ahl al-Bayt

In the quest for understanding truth, it is essential to recognize that the essence of truth embodies a precision that remains unaltered and absolute. The Quran states, "And He is the Truth" (Surah Al-Hajj 22:62), emphasizing that any alteration of this truth leads to falsehood, yet its essence remains intact. This principle highlights the sanctity of truth and urges believers to approach their faith and interactions with sincerity and integrity.
Central to this understanding is the acknowledgment of Allah’s attributes, particularly Sattar ul Uyoob, the Concealer of Faults. This attribute is particularly significant in the context of the Ahl al-Bayt, the family of the Prophet Muhammad (SAWW), who embody the highest moral and spiritual standards. When individuals fabricate faults against the Infallibles, Allah interposes a Barzakh, a divine barrier that protects their sanctity from such falsehoods. This protection exemplifies Allah’s mercy and the reverence He holds for His chosen ones.
The verse of Tatheer (Surah Al-Ahzab 33:33) resonates profoundly: "Indeed, Allah intends to remove from you the impurity, O people of the Prophet, and to purify you with [extensive] purification." This verse underscores not only the purity of the Ahl al-Bayt but also their unique position as embodiments of divine truth and love. Their existence serves as a guiding light for humanity, reflecting the essence of truth in their words and actions.
Embracing the spirit of love for the Ahl al-Bayt fosters a profound connection to the truth. It encourages individuals from all backgrounds to aspire to the virtues exemplified by these infallible figures, promoting an atmosphere of compassion, understanding, and unity. Recognizing Allah as the ultimate source of truth and acknowledging the protection He provides to the Infallibles cultivates a sense of spiritual responsibility among believers.
Ultimately, the pursuit of truth, inspired by the love of the Ahl al-Bayt, invites us to embody sincerity in our lives. By aligning our intentions with divine truth, we honor the legacy of the Infallibles and strengthen our connection to Allah, who is ever watchful and merciful.

Quote
What I once wanted as a miracle, what I called a miracle, was really a desire for discontinuity and interruption, the desire for an anomaly: I called a miracle exactly that moment in which the true continuous miracle of the process was interrupted. But the neutral goodness of the God is still more appealable than if it were not neutral: to have it all you must do is go, to have it all you must do is ask. And the miracle can be requested, and had, since continuity has interstices that do not discontinue it, the miracle is the note between two notes of music, it is the number between number one and number two. To have it all you have to do is need it. Faith — is knowing you can go and eat the miracle. Hunger, that is what faith is in itself — and needing is my guarantee that to me it will always be given. Needing is my guide.

As I switch off the lights with my family in our bunker, I’m reminded that “the Guardian of Israel neither sleeps nor slumbers” (Psalms 121:4). Today we welcomed neighbors, strangers, friends, and family. While some keep trying to break us — they won’t. Yes, the harm hurts. But we are also growing stronger, more connected, and united. We fight for our right to live freely in our homeland and to pursue peace even in times of war. Wishing us all a sound sleep, so we can wake up to the dream of living in this land.

🌷Hardship In Islam🌷:
In Islam, hardship is viewed as a test from Allah, a means of spiritual growth and a reminder of His blessings. It's crucial to remain patient, trust in Allah's plan, and seek refuge in prayer and remembrance of Him. Remembering that Hardship is a Test. We believe that Allah tests us to see who of us will be patient and remain steadfast in ones faith, even during difficult times. Hardship is an opportunity for growth, to purify the soul, strengthen our faith, and draw closer to Allah. Hardship is a divine plan, we trust that Allah knows what is best for us, even when we cannot see the wisdom behind the trials we face. Making it challenging. But Allah does not burden a soul for more than it can bear.
🌷How To Navigate Through Hardship 🌷:
•| It is crucial to practice Patience (Sabr), it is considered a virtue in Islam, and we Muslims are encouraged to remain patient during difficult times, trusting that Allah will ease our burdens.
•| Prayer (Salah), we are encouraged to pray regularly, seeking solace and guidance from Allah during hardships. Prayer helps strengthen the connection with Allah and provides a sense of comfort. As well as making sincere dua (supplication) is highly encouraged, to make supplications to Allah, seeking His help and guidance in difficult situations.
•| Recitation And Reflecting On The Quran, on the verses of the Quran can provide comfort and guidance during challenging times.
•| Gratitude (Shukr), even during hardship, we are encouraged to find blessings and express gratitude for Allah's gifts.
•| Seek Support and connecting with family, friends, or religious communities can provide support and encouragement.
•| Remembering Allah, consistent remembrance of Allah through phrases like "SubhanAllah," "Alhamdulillah," "Allahu Akbar," and "La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah" can bring peace of mind. And so much more.
🌷Surah Al-'Asr🌷:
By the ˹passage of˺ time! Surely humanity is in ˹grave˺ loss, except those who have faith, do good, and urge each other to the truth, and urge each other to perseverance. ~{103:1-3}.

O God, You are the unsearchable abyss of peace, the ineffable sea of love, the fountain of blessings, and the bestower of affection. You send peace to those who receive it. God, open to us this day the sea of Your love, and water us with the plenteous streams from the riches of Your grace. Make us children of quietness, and heirs of peace. Enkindle in us the fire of Your love. Sow us in Your fear. Strengthen our weakness by Your power. Bind us closely to You and to each other in one firm bond of unity. For the sake of Jesus Christ. Amen.

President Biden’s Farewell Address: "I want to warn the country of some things that give me great concern. That's the dangerous concentration of power in the hands of a very few ultra wealthy people and the dangerous consequences if their abuse of power is left unchecked. Today, an oligarchy is taking shape in America of extreme wealth, power and influence that literally threatens our entire democracy, our basic rights and freedoms, and a fair shot for everyone to get ahead."
"Americans are being buried under an avalanche of misinformation and disinformation, enabling the abuse of power ... the truth is smothered by lies."
"After 50 years at the center of all of this, I know that believing in the idea of America means respecting the institutions that govern a free society -- the presidency, the Congress, the courts, a free and independent press ... "
"No president is immune from crimes that he or she commits while in office."
“I still believe in the idea for which this nation stands. A nation where the strength of our institutions and the character of our people matter. They must endure. Now it's your turn to stand guard."
"In a democracy, there's another danger to the concentration of power & wealth. It erodes the sense of unity & common purpose & causes distrust and division. Participating in our democracy becomes exhausting and even disillusioning ... we have to stay engaged in the process"
"After 50 years of public service, I give you my word: I still believe in the idea for which this nation stands ... now it's your turn to stand guard. May you be the keeper of the flame. May you keep the faith. I love America. You love it too. God bless you all."
"Now it's your turn to stand guard. May you all be the keeper of the flame. May you keep the faith. I love America. You love it, too. God bless you all. May God protect our troops. Thank you for this great honor."

Prayer for the Pope’s Healing
Heavenly Father,
You are the Divine Healer, the One who restores and renews all things. Today, we lift up our Holy Father, Pope Francis, who is suffering from illness. Lord, in Your mercy, place Your healing hands upon him. Strengthen his body as he battles this sickness, ease his suffering, and restore him to full health.
Breathe Your life-giving Spirit into his lungs, clearing them of all infection, and grant wisdom to the doctors and caregivers who attend to him. May his recovery be swift, and may he continue to lead Your Church with renewed strength and faith.
In his time of weakness, be his refuge. Surround him with Your peace, comfort his heart, and remind him that he is held in the prayers of the faithful worldwide. We entrust him to the loving care of Our Blessed Mother, asking for her intercession, that she may cover him with her mantle of protection.
Lord, we trust in Your perfect will, and we ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer.
Amen.

A Prayer for Reconciliation and Unity
Heavenly Father,
You are the God of truth, mercy, and reconciliation. You have called us not only to worship You in spirit and truth but to live at peace with one another in the body of Christ. Lord, You said in Matthew 5:23–24 that if we come to Your altar and remember that our brother or sister has something against us, we must first go and be reconciled—then come and offer our gift.
So, Father, we come before You today with humble hearts, asking You to reveal any offense we’ve caused—whether knowingly or unknowingly. Help us not to ignore these matters or hide them under false peace. Stir within us the courage to face difficult conversations, not to accuse, but to heal; not to condemn, but to restore.
Lord Jesus, we remember the story of David and Nathan. When David had sinned blinded by his own actions and unaware of how deeply he had grieved You Father God You sent Nathan the prophet.
Nathan did not come to destroy but to lovingly confront, to open David’s eyes so that repentance could take root and restoration could follow. Help us be like Nathan when we need to speak truth, and like David when we need to hear it—humble, broken, and ready to repent.
You have shown us in Matthew 18:15 that if our brother or sister sins against us, we are to go to them privately, not to shame them, but to win them back—to protect the unity and purity of Your Church. Help us obey this instruction. Help us not to gossip or seek validation from others, but to pursue reconciliation face to face, heart to heart.
We confess, Lord, that we often let pride or fear keep us from apologizing, or we justify our silence instead of seeking peace. We allow bitterness to grow instead of rooting it out with grace and forgiveness. Cleanse us from this, Father. We desire a church that is whole and united, a reflection of the spotless Bride You are coming back for.
Help us forgive those who’ve hurt us, even if they never say sorry. Help us love like You do—keeping no record of wrongs, bearing all things, and hoping all things. Give us eyes to see one another not through offense, but through Your grace.
Today, Lord, bring to mind anyone we need to reconcile with. Show us how to humble ourselves, whether with a word, a letter, or a gentle conversation. And if someone comes to us to make things right, may we receive them not with pride or defensiveness, but with open hearts and a desire to restore what was broken.
May Your Spirit lead us in every step toward healing, and may You be glorified in our obedience, our humility, and our love.
In the name of Jesus, who made the ultimate reconciliation between us and the Father,
Amen.

pro tip: do your skincare routine about an hour before Isha or directly after Maghrib (if you’re sure you’ll remain in a state of purity) so your products have around 7–8 hours to work into your skin. then, after making wudu for Fajr (or Tahajjud), do your skincare again. that gives your skin another 7–8 hours (or even more, depending on whether you stay in a state of purity until Dhuhr) before needing to remove it again. and between prayers (like between Dhuhr and Maghrib), you can simply let your skin breathe and just apply a light moisturizer to keep it hydrated without layering too much. it’s a great way to care for your skin without disrupting your wudu or overdoing your routine :)
