I'm gonna be honest, I don't have much left because I don't really write anymore, but I had that one impulse in writing a scene for my bg3 playthrough. I doubt it's ever going to see the light of day, so here it is:

Astarion’s eyes follow Calliandra merely for a second when she passes by him and sits on her bedroll next to the campfire. There is distance and there is darkness between them, but still, she faces his direction. Carefully picks up a piece of charcoal that has fallen off the burning logs, and sets her head down at the paper.  She starts with a simple outline of his features, studying the shapes and proportions, the angles that form his sharp jawline and the curls of his hair behind his ears. The subtle frown on his brows as he concentrates on each of his stitches cast a shadow on his eyes, and she notes to herself how strong and piercing are not good enough words to describe them. There is an intent behind the red colour, a sort of determination and anger and sorrow that slithers through his secrets and that she does not quite understand yet.
