i’m in my theater era now

as in i crave to see a play every single evening, as in i am desperate for the act of being told a story by people who move physically before me and as in i love sitting in plush velvet seats while the course of human life gets reenacted in front of my eyes

the minutes beforehand sitting at the bar and drinking wine in your cheap fake fur coat, the minutes after where you’re in a stunned daze because art is able to do that and the minutes driving home where you suddenly remember everything and you gush about the costumes and the light and the movements of the actors hands with your companion
