IMAGINE taking pet Mammon to the vet to get a vaxx. My poor baby. He would be so scared but so cute. And after that McDonald's/ new shiny stuff and a hundred billion pats. Also MC singing him "he's so brave, he's well behaved, he is not afraid" anyways auiysdvbjhdsfgisaygf (I love him)

Now you have made me consider how each of the brothers behave when they have to go to the vet….

Lucifer: one of the easiest ones to bring to the vet because he doesn’t want to appear “wild” or “childish” by throwing a fit. So you can write his vet appointment date in the calendar, and when the date rolls around, he’s perfectly fine with getting into the car. Actually, being at the vet, though?.... He’s not the most well-behaved pet….. He’s very compliant, he sits in the waiting room and doesn’t make a word of disagreement. He listens to the vet when they tell him to sit. Just when the checkup actually starts, he gets a little testy.

Each procedure is met with a question, why are they doing this, what are they testing, don’t they see he’s perfectly healthy?

If he does need to get a shot, he sits perfectly still and stays quiet. Putting on a brave face and acting like the sight of the needle doesn’t bother him at all. But if you insist on holding his hand then you can feel it shake slightly.

The worst part? When the visit is done Lucifer accepts no treats for his behavior or a way to smooth him. He views it as “beneath him” and thinks that only little pups and spoiled pets get treats for getting their health looked after. To him, having an owner that cares enough to even be concerned about his health is enough for him.

But, if you just so happen to order dinner from his favorite place, well, he won’t complain….

Mammon: Like you said, he does not do well with going to the vet. He’s definitely the kind of pet you need to hide vet visits from, as when you openly told him about his vet visit a week in advance before, and he spent the whole day hiding under the bed and no amount of bribes or treats could convince him to leave. Crying at you that the vet will put “weird” things in him, or force him to wear a cone. Causing you to miss your vet appointment and having to beg them for another.

So now you’ve learned from your lesson, and don’t even tell him where you’re going as you load him into your car. Mammon thinks you’re taking him to the park, or better yet, the casino (even though you gave absolutely no induction that is where you’re taking him). He works himself into a freezy, talking about all the winnings the two of you will make at the casino.

When you pull up at the vet, suffice to say he’s a little bit betrayed (even though, again, you never told him that you were going to the casino). You have to physically drag a whining Mammon in through the vet doors and hold his hand in the waiting room so he doesn’t bolt away.

When you two go into the vet’s office Mammon is talking a mile a minute, trying to convince them that he feels perfect, that he’s a 100% - no - a 1,000% healthy and does not need to be looked at. Really doc’, you’re just wasting your time!

If he does have to get a vaccine he is SO scared, you have to have him in your lap as one hand is holding his hand while the other is running a comforting hand through his hair. The whole time you’re singing to him that song, “he’s so brave, he’s well behaved, he is not afraid” in between peppering his face in kisses. While Mammon is curled up into a little ball on your lap, eyes squeezed closed.

And when that’s finally done? Yes, give him all the treats lol. He’s asking for McDonald’s, ice cream, cookies, a new watch, to go to the casino. He has absolutely NO shame in milking all your guilt for things. In his mind, he deserves it since he was so “brave” and “well behaved”. He expects kisses every time he complains about his arm hurting.

Levi: He’s another demon that you have to hide his vet appointments from. When you first get him, and he’s still terrified of you, he makes no verbal compliments at going to the vet, even though he’s so scared and hates going. He’ll look at you with the saddest, wettest eyes from the car mirror as you drive him to the vet. When you two get there, he actually starts hyperventilating a bit in the waiting room. And when you two actually go into the vet’s office? The vet actually asks you if he would like a treat to “calm down”. If he has to get a shot at this stage of your relationship he’ll shakingly hold out his hand and squeeze his eyes shut, fully expecting the vet to be rough as they give him his vaccine, too afraid to be grateful when it doesn’t hurt at all.

You definitely lose some relationship points with Levi after this, and for a long while he gets very suspicious whenever he gets into your car.

If you take him to the vet when your relationship with him is better though? He feels completely safe to whine and complain to you the entire time. You’ve learned that you have to hide his vet appointments from him after he locked himself in the bathroom on the day you’re supposed to go.

When you successfully trick him into getting into the car, he’s still a little suspicious of where you’re taking him. When you pull up to the vet he loudly starts proclaiming that he has so many shows and games to catch up on! Don’t you know that a new chapter of his manga is dropping soon? That an online raid is happening right now?? You two have to go home right this instant!!

Also has to be dragged into the vet’s waiting room.

He will sulk the entire time you’re waiting, curling up into a ball on the waiting room chairs as he taps away on his phone. It’s only when his name gets called does the fear return to him and he starts to shake. Even though he was sulking and refused any contact with you in the waiting room, he starts to cling to you in the actual vet’s office. You have to bribe him to sit still and let the vet do their job by promising him anime merch and that you’ll play a new game with him.

When it’s all over he sulks for days in his room, being quite cold to you if you knock on his door. It’s only after significant treats, and the fact that he needs a player 2 for a lot of his games, does he start to seek you out.

Satan: throws an absolute fit when you tell him that he has a vet appointment. Being an ex-fighting ring demon, he doesn’t have the best experiences with medical personnel. Most of the time the “vets” at the ring just patched someone up enough to continue to fight, and they were never gentle. In his mind he’s fine now. He’s not getting into any more fights, he’s uninjured, he’s not deathly sick, going to the vet just seems like a waste of time to him.

You have to have many talks with him about annual checkups and how people still go to the doctor’s even when they feel “fine”. Satan doesn’t really get it until you explain to him that there could be something wrong with him but he doesn’t know about it, especially after he reads a few books about hidden illnesses and diseases. But he only agrees to go when you tell him that you also go to the doctor’s for your check ups.

When you’re driving him to the vet he asks you a lot of questions about what will happen at the vet. Who is his vet? How trained are they? What kind of tests are they going to do? He worked himself into a bit of a tizzy thinking about all the things that could be wrong with him, so he’s fully expecting the vet to tell him that he has this rare hidden illness.

So he’s very fidgety in the waiting room, eyes constantly scanning around the room as he looks at the other pets and wonders what hidden illness they’re harboring.

Satan does not trust the vet at all, still half expecting the rough treatment from the vets from the ring. He asks them a million questions, where they went to school, what their degree is in, what grades they got, how long they’re been practicing, etc. Satan is still expecting to be diagnosed with some rare illness, so when he isn’t he thinks the vet hasn’t done their job correctly, asking if they’re “really sure” that he’s “perfectly healthy”. Honestly, it’s a little better when he’s getting a shot, because then in his mind this visit “meant something”, even though he still flinches at the sight of the needle.

Asmo: He actually needs to know when his vet appointments are days in advance as he hates leaving the house without getting “done up”. If you forget about a vet appointment till the day of, he will make the two of you late when he locks himself in the bathroom to get ready.

Asmo doesn’t have much of a problem with vet visits. Being a former sex demon, he’s used to going to medical professionals for tests. I feel like he also doesn’t quite understand what an “annual checkup” entails, as his opinion is influenced by his past experiences. So he doesn’t quite understand why he needs to go for a checkup when he’s only sleeping with you (or, alternatively, if you two aren’t sleeping together, then he’s even more confused on why he needs to go to the vet).

It’s only when his vet appointment rolls around does he start to get a little nervous. If his usual appointment is unneeded, then why is he going? What else could be done to him? He keeps his concerns close to his chest, hoping that you think his usual check up is necessary, worried that if he brings up the fact that he doesn’t need to get checked for sexual diseases (as he was already checked before being sold to you) that you will have the vet do something else to him.

Asmo has faced quite a few horrors from medical professionals before, but the idea of having absolutely no clue what’s going to happen to him scares him more than any repeat performance.

So even though he’s smiling and acting unbothered in the waiting room, and when he gets into the vet’s office, you can see the way he shakes, how his eyes scan around the office looking for something. Even though he tries to suppress it, every time the vet touches him he can’t help but flinch a bit. If he needs to get a shot he actually starts crying a little bit, and you have to assure him that nothing bad is going to be put in him.

After the appointment Asmo acts a little… off for the next couple of days. All that stress with no actual inciting incident causes him to stress a bit in everyday situations. During this time you have a better chance of actually getting Asmo to open up about why he was so on edge about the vet visit, and even after you assure him that the purpose of the visit was to only check up on his general health it takes him a few visits to really internalize that fact and get used to normal vet visits?

When he does though? Asmo takes great pleasure in being “a pleasure to have” at the vet, and actually likes how the vet fusses over him lol. Probably one of the few demons that actually starts to like general checkups if it means he’ll get praised for acting so well behaved.

Beel: He doesn’t have any strong opinions about the vet. Like Satan I can see him being confused about why he needs to go to the vet, but once you explain to him that you want him to go so you know for sure that he doesn’t have any hidden illnesses, he’s fine with going.

Being a farm working demon, I feel like Beel has never been to the vet before. Outdoor working demons only go to the vet when they get injured, and even that’s not a guarantee. So he is a bit worried about the unknown, but he trusts you, if you think that it’s going to be ok, then he believes it as well.

I feel like he only gets a little stressed if you don't double book an appointment with Belphie too, only because he doesn’t like being away from his twin.

It’s really interesting watching Beel at the vet because it’s very obvious that he has no idea what the vet is doing, or why they’re doing it. He breathes in why they tell them to, and opens his mouth so they can look down his throat, but he does try to eat the stick they’re using to hold down his tongue.

He does get a little uneasy if he needs to get a shot, only because he’s never seen a needle before so he doesn’t know how much it’s going to hurt. He takes your offer of holding your hand as the vet gives him his shot, and lets himself get distressed when you start talking about dinner and all the different dishes you can make for him. He gets distracted that he doesn’t even notice that he’s been shot, and asks when the vet is going to do it.

He’s so well behaved that when he spends a full minute drooling over which loopypop to pick, the vet allows him to take the jar.

Belphie: He’s suchhhh a brat that he throws a fit whenever he needs to go to the vet lol. He will pretend to sleep, or actually fall asleep when it’s his turn to go. Causing you, or Beel, to carry him to the car. He doesn’t trust humans at all, and while he may think that you’re alright, that trust does not extend any further. So the idea that this random human is going to touch and prod him? That he’s just going to sit there and let them perform “tests” on him?

Yeah. No.

When you explain to him what a vet visit is, and what a checkup entails he doesn’t like the idea at all. He’ll start arguing with you that he’s fine, and that the visit is unneeded, and unlike the other demons, no amount of explaining or scientific evidence will convince him that it’s necessary. He doesn’t believe that the vet has his best interest in mind, in his mind there has to be some hidden reason why the vet wants to check up on him, and believes that you’re being too naive to not think the same.

In the actual vet’s office he’s garling and growling at the vet, his eyes watching their every movement, believing that any second now they’ll take out something to harm him. If he’s actually getting a vaccine, he’s firmly refusing it. He doesn’t know what’s in that! What if it makes him sick, or hurts him?

Absolutely no amount of convincing from you can make him change his mind, as he believes that you’re being lied to.

I feel like the only way to actually get Belphie vaccinated is to do it in his sleep lol. He’s such a heavy sleeper too that he doesn’t even notice the prick in his arm.

Zekehan this, zekehan that, THE WAY YOU PORTRAY MIKE AND ERWIN'S RELATIONSHIPS WITH HANGE IS DEVINE

oh, thank you so much! the portrayal of their dynamics in manga leaves much to be desired (correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe we see hange and mike interact only once) so most of what i write in fics are just presumptions and my hcs. but hange is such a sunshine that i refuse to believe that other vets didn't love them with all their hearts. i specifically have a soft spot for hange and mike, and i'm a firm believer that they're siblings (or cousins, at the very least). for me, mike has a very distinct big brother vibe, who'll break the nose of everyone who dares to disrespect his dear, dear hange (can you imagine his reaction when hange and levi began their weird courting dance? the poor fella must have been so confused at first, because, of course, hange's free to make their own choices, but that guy? really?)

also please imagine some high school au, in which levi and mike are already acquainted and hate each other's guts for one reason or another. and then levi starts pining after one hange zoe, not knowing that they have a sibling. and hange starts pining back, not knowing that the guy they're pining after is actually the same guy that their brother punched a while ago. and then, after they sort out their feelings and start dating, hange invites levi to their house to introduce their family to him. everything goes pretty smoothly, until mike comes home from training, sees levi and... terrible chaos ensues as both mike and levi try to hide the fact that they hate each other, because both of them don't want to upset hange (hange still finds out when they catch mike threatening to kick levi's ass again if he ever hurts them. hange gives each of them a very stern talk and then laughs their ass out when mike admits how he dipped levi's face in a puddle once)

Hi and happy new year. I've always imagined what it would be like if Levy's and Lucia's partners were twins and they all went on a double date together. Can you write a little scenario or headcanons about it , please?

ooo this one is interesting! and also kinda confusing to think about!

genre: crack probably

cw: this probably makes no sense

❧ lucia met his partner while he was running a quick errand in town and bumped into them on accident. they chatted for a while before arranging a date the next day and parting ways. the date was a hit and the two of them became official not long after

❧ levy met his partner through his vet. his horse was due for a checkup and unbeknownst to levy, his vet was bringing along her apprentice so they could get some field experience in. the apprentice unintentionally made a few flirtatious remarks toward levy which got him all flustered and standoffish. it wasn't until they made a reference to one of levy's favorite books that he became more interested, and he shyly asked for the apprentice to return the next day for tea

❧ lucia and levy knew their respective partners fairly well, and they knew that they had a twin, but they never brought it up to one another so the connection was never made

❧ likewise, the twins somehow never communicated the names of their partners to each other, but they decided it would be fun to introduce them to the other via a double date!

❧ it was kinda funny seeing the boys prepare for their dates at the manor the day of cuz like,, lucia would ask "hey, what are you getting dressed up for" and levy would respond "i have a date" and the lucia is just left staring at him like "huh,, me too"

❧ then, when they go to leave for the date in separate carriages, they just keep heading in the same direction, and finally when they reach the same destination and get out of their carriages, they just awkwardly look at each other cuz at this point it's just too weird to be a coincidence

❧ levy's partner is the first to run up and greet him, and lucia is like ",,,,uh hello??" cuz that's his partner. right??

❧ wrong. and now here comes lucia's actual partner running up to him for a hug, and levy looks over at the two of them and his eyes go wide lol

❧ the brothers finally get a good look at the two people in front of them and make the important discovery that they look almost exactly alike

❧ lucia is the first to break the silence, "so you two are, uh..."

❧ his partner responds, "oh, yeah! lucia, i'd like you to meet my twin!" and the twins introduce themselves to the boys

❧ levy's partner asks if the boys already know each other given they arrived at the same time, to which levy states that they're brothers

❧ now all four of them are staring at each other like ",,,huh?" cuz what a coincidence, am i right?

❧ brushing it off as best they can, the two couples continue on to their date at a cute little sit down cafe, and they all get to know each other more

❧ the awkwardness eventually fades away and double dates, or at least spending time together, become a common thing for the two pairs

❧ levy is quick to learn telling differences between his partner and their twin to make communicating easier, like his partner has longer hair and is more of a spitfire whereas lucia's partner has a higher toned voice and more defined cheekbones

❧ earlier on, lucia would have easily fallen for the parent trap trick, but the longer that he knows the twins, he just instinctively knows which one his partner is, no matter what disguise they put on

❧ omg but can you imagine people unintentionally starting drama like "i saw lucia's s/o holding hands with levy!" "with his own brother, oh the poor man" but it's really just no one realizes the brothers are dating identical twins until months into their relationships lmao

y'know this hits different as someone who has bpd LMAO kdjfksdjf this would prob be my husband tbh! so in general, understanding but blunt and doesn't sugarcoat things when things are a bit rough. can be emotionally flat at times, but when he does show it, it's genuine. like i never have to worry about him saying things for the sake of saying things, which checks because i think all this is kinda what draws me in towards levi as well

First Date with the Vets - Levi

Big shoutout to @chaotic-nick for making this lovely banner for me!

Overall Summary: I had this idea to do a first date with the vets and what it would be like. I am including Erwin, Levi, Miche, and Hange in this list. Each date will be different, but all of them will be set in modern au.

Pairing: Levi x Fem!Reader Content: Nearly all fluff, a tiny hint at sex Word Count: ~ 5,600 Summary: Reader gets invited to a jazz club by her best friend who says she will be bringing another friend. When her best friend decides not to show up, she is left with an acquaintance she barely knows while they try to make the best of the situation.

The moment you stepped into the jazz club, the smell of smoke hit your nostrils and you were wondering why you let your friend pick the venue for your night out. You always let her pick and something like this always happened.

You looked around the club, trying to find that familiar orange head of curls you were so used to seeing. You were always jealous of Fen’s hair, she hated standing out in the crowd, but you were always telling her how she should own it, every time you walk into a room, that’s your chance to own the room. She had definitely come a long way from her shy, nerdy middle school days.

A second sweep of the room and you still didn’t see her. You must be the first one there. Or it was possible the other friend Fen said she was bringing would be there. You couldn’t remember who she said it would be. You didn’t have many other mutual friends so you knew it must be someone you hadn’t met many times before.

You opened up your clutch purse and pulled out your phone, checking the messages of who she said was coming. You scrolled through to a couple days before and found it.

[Please don’t bring someone weird that I have to make small talk with.]

[Haha! It’s that guy you met a couple times.]

[Don’t worry, he hates small talk.]

She never was very good at describing people. Well at least you wouldn’t have to worry about small talk if he was here. Still, you couldn’t help but wonder who she was talking about. Honestly, the club wasn’t that big. There were only a handful of tables in front of the stage and most of the tables behind the dropped seating were empty. Another sweep of the crowd, this time not focusing on anything and you spotted him. His silky jet-black hair was shining off of the dim lighting as he scrolled through his phone.

You moved to the table, squeezing through the annoying congregation of people blocking the stairs. As you approached the table, you realized that it was entirely possible that him being here was a coincidence and he wasn’t the friend Fen invited. You mentally shrugged, it didn’t really matter at that point, even if he wasn’t, you’d at least have someone to talk to while you waited. He wasn’t the most talkative person, but he certainly wasn’t the worst.

Standing across from him at the table, you watched as his eyes slowly trailed up your body until they reached your face. He had a disinterested look in his eyes, but still shifted in his seat, sitting up straight.

“I’m not sure if you remember me,” you started, smiling, “I’m friends with Fenmore.”

“I do.”

“Oh, great.” You relaxed your shoulders a bit and reached your hand forward.

“Y/N, right?” The man extended his hand to you and you shook it.

“Yes.” You were surprised he remembered because you couldn’t remember his name for the life of you. “Sorry, I forgot your—”

“Levi.”

“Levi. It’s nice to see you again.” You pulled your hand away and smiled wider. “You wouldn’t happen to be meeting Fenmore here tonight, would you?”

“I am.” The corner of his mouth lifted the tiniest bit and you took it as a smile.

“I thought so. I’m also meeting her, though I’m not sure where she is.” You looked around the club briefly and then back at Levi, gesturing at the chair in front of you. “Do you mind if I sit here?”

“Not at all.” He started standing up from his chair and stopped halfway when he saw you put your hand up.

“You don’t have to stand.” He didn’t seem as unfriendly as you remembered him being the couple other times you met him. He definitely seemed very standoffish and cold, but certainly not as unapproachable as you had in your memory. “You like jazz?”

“I like jazz.” He nodded, looking at the stage. “It’s the jazz lounge I’m not really fond of.”

“I can relate to that.” You laughed and he looked back over to you, his eyes slightly more interested in you than they were a moment before. “If it weren’t for Fen always trying to drag me out here. This is one of her favorite places, though I’m sure you know that.”

“I didn’t, actually.”

“Ah.” You nodded in understanding.

You were sure he would know her love of jazz lounges, this one in particular. Anyone that knew Fen well enough knew it and there was a part of you that thought for sure Fen and Levi were dating. She talked about him just enough that you could recognize him, but not overboard, the way people are just before they start a relationship. Then again, it didn’t make sense why she would invite you out with him if they were newly dating.

“Yes, well, it’s probably better that way.” You laughed. “Otherwise you might get dragged out here each week like me.”

He nodded, still staring at you and you looked at your purse, struggling to nail this guy down. He wasn’t being rude, but he wasn’t really engaging in any sort of conversation. You thought back to what Fen said, ‘he hates small talk’ and smiled to yourself.

A female server walked up to your table and set a drink down and you and Levi both looked up at her.

“The gentleman at the bar sent this over for you.” She smiled and left.

“Oh, a martini.” You looked over to the bar, but the club was way too dark to actually see anyone. You turned to Levi. “Should I drink it?”

“Do you like martinis?”

“I like martinis. It’s the guy I’m not sure I’m fond of.” You repeated his choice of words from a couple minutes before. He let out a puff of air and you almost got a glimpse of his teeth.

You could imagine him having a really great smile and the work to get him to show it was starting to look like a lot more fun than you expected.

“What the hell? I’ll drink it.” You moved the drink closer to you and signaled for the server to come over.

“Are you ordering something else?” Levi asked, shifting in his seat a little.

“No, I’m going to send a drink to him to let him know I like the drink, but not him.” You watched as Levi’s eyes widened the slightest bit and his mouth opened as if to speak. “Don’t worry, I’ll be nicer in my choice of words.”

You smiled as the server came to the table and you caught the tiniest little smile from Levi before he quickly dropped it, his face returning to his default gaze.

“What can I get for you?” It was the same server that brought the drink to you.

“Yes, I’d like to buy the gentleman that sent this drink to me something,” you started, “and if you wouldn’t mind, please tell him thank you, but I’m already entertaining another man.”

You gestured to Levi and watched him shift in his seat again.

“Which drink would you like to send?” You hadn’t even thought about that.

“What do you like to drink, Levi?” You turned to him.

“Old fashioned.” He looked at the waitress and his eyes travelled back to you, the little corner of his mouth turning up again. You handed your card to the server and she left.

“So how did you get roped into coming out tonight then? You asked him. “Since you like jazz, but not jazz clubs.”

“Fenmore asked me what I was doing on Friday and I told her I didn’t have plans.” He admitted.

“Big mistake.” You laughed. “You know, she was like this when we were kids too. We actually met because I told her I didn’t have plans for my 13th birthday. She ended up planning this whole baseball themed birthday part for me and invited a whole bunch of people from our grade.”

“Why a baseball theme?”

“You know, I don’t know.” You thought about it and the memory made you smile, when you looked up at Levi, he leaned a little closer. “The funny thing is, I love baseball. I still don’t know how she knew it though.”

Enjoying his sudden decision to participate in conversation, you were about to ask him a question when you felt your phone buzz and you opened your clutch to check it.

[Sorry, can’t make it tonight.]

[You have fun though.]

[You know I hate this place]

[I’m sure the company isn’t too bad ;) ]

That’s a weird response. You narrowed your eyes at your phone, suspecting Fen was up to something and she wasn’t fully clear on what tonight was. You looked up and Levi was putting his phone down.

“I take it you got a similar text from Fen.” You questioned.

“She’s not coming?”

“She’s not coming.” You sighed and looked around. The club was starting to get busier as it got later in the night. “I guess if Fen’s not here and we both hate this place, we could probably just go.”

You shrugged and Levi nodded. Just as you both were standing up, a server came over to your table, different from the one before.

“Can I get you guys anything to drink?” You didn’t even realize this place took orders without you having to call a server over. You looked to Levi, checking to see if he still wanted to leave and he shrugged.

“We could stay for one drink.” Levi suggested, smiling, and you caught the tiniest glimpse of his teeth, sparkling in the dim club lighting.

“I guess I did get all dressed up.” You propped your chin on your arm and smiled at him. There really was something interesting about him that you couldn’t quite put your finger on. You knew there was more to him than he was letting on and there was just something about the chase that he was giving that really kept you wanting more.

You were looking in his eyes now, the stone grey really suited his face and it’s not that anyone ever looked terrible in clubs, you were sure that was the whole reason it was dark all the time, but there was something so bewitching when the glitter of that random disco ball shine caught his face just right. You watched his eyes look to his right several times and then back to you and you wondered what he was looking at. Then you remembered the server standing there.

“Oh, shit! I’m so sorry.” You watched Levi laugh to himself and you couldn’t hold back your smile. “I’ll take a screwdriver and he’ll have an old fashioned?”

Levi nodded and the server was off to get the drinks.

“You know, I didn’t realize they come to your table to take your order in this place.” You leaned forward, whispering. “It’s never happened before.”

“Maybe this place isn’t as bad as we thought.” Levi put his phone in his pocket and rested his arms on the table, his attention fully on you as he moved closer.

“That’s enough to change your mind?” You also leaned closer to him.

“That’s enough for me to keep an open mind.” He moved even closer and it made you wish the table was smaller so you could get closer to him. You smiled at him, still staring. You really loved a man that didn’t feel the need to fill silence. There was also a quiet confidence that Levi had. Do his eyes ever stop shimmering?

“What is it that you do, Levi?”

“You first.”

“I’m an internal auditor. My job is boring.” You waved your hand is a dismissive way. “I’m more interested in what you do.”

“I—”

“Here are your drinks.” The server was back, setting your screwdriver in front of you and, what looked like, a cosmo in front of Levi. “Can I get you anything else?”

“Yes actually, sorry, he ordered an old fashioned.” You pointed to Levi’s drink.

“I’m so sorry about that.” The server took the drink and set it on his tray. “I’ll be back with that old fashioned.”

You thanked the server and looked back at Levi, sliding your untouched martini over to him.

“How do you feel about martinis while you wait?”

You quickly learned that Levi wasn’t really a person that enjoyed doing most of the talking. He was very much a listener, but there were certain things you could learn about him even through the few things he did say. For starters, you could immediately sense how loyal he was based on how he described his friends. You had managed to figure out that he owned his own business and from what you understood, it was relatively successful, though you were sure he was downplaying his own success significantly. He was in the military for fourteen years and had actually hired quite a bit of his comrades when they got out. A quality that had you scooting closer to him around the table.

Owning his own business definitely told you he spent a lot of his time working and you admired that in another person considering you were that kind of person and you couldn’t even explain how many relationships had failed in the past because your partner couldn’t understand that. He was also quite strong in his conviction which you found surprising since he was such a quiet and unobtrusive person.

You were two drinks in when the club started getting louder and while you definitely enjoyed having to lean closer to Levi to have him speak in your ear, it really was becoming difficult to continue the conversation and when you leaned closer to him and he dipped his head down so you could speak in his ear, you asked if he wanted to go somewhere a little quieter. He nodded and leaned closer to you.

“I know a place.” And you both stood up, closing your tab and heading out. This was the first time you’d stood next to Levi and while you knew he was shorter than you from your previous times meeting, there was something quite cute about standing next to him and feeling his height then. Though you had to admit, when he rested his hand on your lower back to help guide you out of the club, your thoughts were far from cute.

“So where is this place you know?” You asked, not even getting the chance to shiver in the night air before Levi’s blazer was being placed over your shoulders. You looked to him quickly and smiled, thanking him. This guy was next-level perfect.

“It’s a tea café not far from here, a couple blocks maybe.”

“A tea café that’s open at—” You checked your watch, “—two o’clock in the morning?”

“It’s kind of open whenever I want it to be.” He smiled shyly.

That was sort of a weird thing to say. You started to worry that maybe you were about to break in to the shop and while you were always up for an adventure, that wasn’t the kind of adventure you liked.

“It’s right up there.” He pointed and you could see at the end of the block, a small, dark shop. You lived near here and had seen this shop quite a bit, but never really realized what it was. The arched wooden French doors in the front along with the wide windows and dark exterior were always really appealing to you, but never went inside because you never realized it was a café.

“Are you sure it’s okay if we go in here? It looks closed.” You worried, moving closer to Levi and lightly holding his arm. He reached in his pocket and pulled out keys, putting them in the lock.

“Trust me. I know the owner.” He smiled at you. It may have only been a small little lift in the corner of his mouth, but you were realizing that this little smile Levi had, was his way of being playful and the idea that he was showing you this side of him, as small of a reveal as it was, made your heart lift a little and you smiled back.

The lock clicked and he pushed the door open. The café was dark, but as soon as the door was open, you could smell the coffee from the machines and wood from the décor, all of it was so warm and welcoming. Levi clicked on the lights and pulled you forward, you hadn’t even realized at what point he had grasped your hand.

“Pick a seat.” He told, moving behind the counter. “I’ll make us some tea.”

You walked around, looking at everything. There was definitely a feeling of cozy warmth and you were really enjoying it. You weren’t really someone that had much of an eye for design, but you really loved how everything was set up. White brick walls on the interior with open shelving for all the unique, but similar mug designs. There was a lot of wood, between the hardwood floors, the wooden stools and wooden shelves in the corner. It was manly, but quaint and very one-of-a-kind. It was very Levi.

You were starting to understand why he found it so funny that he knew the owner. You smiled at his little joke and kept walking to find a seat. There was a small corner away from the windows that caught your eye and you took a seat on the inner bench. Before you had the chance to really look around from your spot, Levi was walking over with two cups on a tray.

“I hope you’re okay with black tea.” He sat down and set a cup in front of you. “It’s kind of my thing.”

“Your thing, huh?” You slipped your fingers around the steaming mug and shivered as your body warmed up. “Then I’m definitely okay with it.”

Levi smiled slightly and sat down across from you. You could feel his legs stretched out under the table, a foot on either side of your leg. It’s not like he was a tall guy, so you wondered how much thought he put into stretching his legs out so that they were rubbing against yours. You smiled to yourself at the thought and it really surprised you just how into this guy you were.

“So, the owner of this place.” You started, your finger dancing around the rim of your mug. “Is he single?”

“He is.”

“And is he interested in women?”

“One in particular.” You looked up to meet his eyes and smiled.

“Does she happen to be sitting across from him right now?” You were expecting to have to gauge his tiny reaction at your question and watched closely. Maybe you’d get the smallest widening of his eyes or a twitch in his eyebrows or the corner of his lips lifting. He looked into your eyes and you watched his lips curl into the widest smile you had seen him ever give. You were sure his eyes wrinkled a little.

“When did you figure out I was the owner?” He pulled his bottom lip in between his teeth and bit down lightly. It had your heart beating so intensely you were sure he could hear it.

“The moment you turned on the lights.” You tried to laugh lightly and look around the café. “This place is very ‘you’.”

“I did have a bit of help with decorating.”

“So then you met Fen through the bank?” You took a sip from the mug and smiled. Damn, that’s good tea. “She must have been your lender?”

“She was. I met her through a friend that works with her. He’s the one that recommended her to me.” You smiled and tried to hide it quickly, but he saw and he started smiling. “Why are you smiling?”

“It’s nothing. I was just wondering how we’ve only met handful of times when you’ve known Fen for a couple years.” You took another sip of tea. “Also, how I’ve never been inside this shop when the tea’s so good and it’s right around the corner from my place.”

At that, Levi let out the cutest little chuckle while he looked down, covering his mouth with his fist and you don’t know how you had the restraint to hold yourself back from grabbing him.

“You know,” you started nervously, looking down at your mug, “I actually thought that you and Fen were dating.”

Levi looked up to you quickly and you continued.

“I thought that was her reason for inviting me tonight. To check out the new boyfriend.” You looked up to him. “But after talking to you, I can see that you wouldn’t be her type.”

“I see.”

“Yeah, she goes for the really visually obnoxious types, the ones lacking ambition and drive, the ones she ends up having to take care of.” You explained. “It can be quite frustrating to watch as her friend.”

“And you?” He asked quietly. “You don’t like that type?”

“I like the opposite.” You rested your chin on your hand and looked at him as he slowly leaned closer. “I like the quiet… confident… successful… slightly harder to pin down man.”

You looked at his hand on the table and you were about to rest your hand on his, but thought better of it and decided to change the subject. It was starting to get a bit too intimate for how late it was in the night and you knew what you were like when that happened.

“So—” you leaned back against the bench, “—how has it been owning a tea café? It must take a lot of work.”

“It’s been good. It’s busy enough.” Despite you leaning backwards, Levi still felt close to you and he leaned in a bit more. “The commute isn’t bad considering I live right upstairs.”

Oh. Your eyes widened slightly in surprise. It wasn’t often that you were surprised by what people say but you didn’t expect it from him. That was bold. You could tell by the look in his eyes what he meant. That was extremely bold. You looked closer at him, wanting to make sure you weren’t misunderstanding. He looked down at the table and you had a feeling he was going to say more. You waited and he cleared his throat.

“Honestly, I bought the whole building when I first thought about the café.” He smiled, but looked a bit conflicted in what he was trying to say, his mouth opening slightly before closing, his eyes stuck to the mug in front of him. You were watching him and waiting for him to finish his thought. He may not have been much of a talker, but when he did speak, you hung on every word. Your arms prickled with goosebumps as you watched him struggle while his lips waited to get the message from his brain on what it was he was trying to say.

“Do you want to see the roof?” He looked up at you, set on the decision he made to ask. “It’s cold outside, but the view is really what made me buy the building.”

He looked away quickly, his cheeks growing pink, slight discomfort from revealing something about himself, but you couldn’t stop the smile from spreading across your face at the tiniest little invitation into his mind.

“I’d love to.” You bit your lip at his shy smile. How he could nearly invite you to his apartment with such confidence, but blush at the idea of revealing his favorite spot in the city was beyond you, but it had your breath catching. You stood up and he took the mugs, setting them behind the counter.

Behind the seating area was a door to the backroom that must have been used for employees, Levi opened the door and went in, looking around and coming back out.

“I was hoping there was a blanket left in there.” He grabbed your hand and guided you to the stairwell. It was much colder in there, the stale air freezing from the dropping temperature outside. You were thankful that Levi let you keep his jacket on your shoulders. Maybe wearing a backless jumpsuit was a bad idea for a cold autumn night. It definitely looked good though.

When you reached the second landing, Levi unlocked the door and pushed it open, flicking on the lights. You could tell right away that this was his apartment and he let go of your hand as he walked inside, not wanting you to feel obligated to follow him. But you did follow him. You stepped inside the warmth and let yourself feel the same welcome you did when you walked into the café.

His apartment had a feeling similar to the café that matched him so well, but it was different. A very midcentury modern feeling, while also very modern. He had a lot of dark colors and abstract art on the walls. It made you wonder who had helped him decorate that could nail down a look so perfect for him.

He slipped his shoes off and ran deeper into the apartment. You heard a door opening and closing and he was back with a blanket. Putting his shoes back on, he stepped behind you and you both moved into the stairwell again.

You couldn’t believe you were thinking it, but as you walked up the steps to get to the roof, you looked at Levi’s hand holding onto yours so securely as he moved up the steps in front of you and smiled. You finally understood what Fen meant by her text message earlier in the night. Had she set you up with Levi knowingly, there was no way you would have agreed to it. You had a pretty good idea he wouldn’t have agreed either. You definitely owed her for this one.

You reached the top floor and Levi pushed open the door to the roof and quickly closed it. You stepped back, confused why he didn’t open it up. Maybe it was heavy. He turned around to look at you.

“Close your eyes.” He directed. You smiled and followed what he said, closing your eyes and moving your free hand to hold onto his hand, hoping for more guidance. You could hear him open the door again and he slowly guided you through the threshold. Your hands were dropped as he moved around, setting the blanket around your shoulders and adjusting something to your right before returning to guiding you forward. “Okay, you can open them.”

You slowly opened your eyes and your jaw dropped at the view. His building was definitely the tallest compared to the surrounding ones, but you still had a great view of the taller buildings in the distance. That wasn’t all though. You suspected that his shuffling around while your eyes were closed was him turning on the outdoor string of lights he had set up over a small seating area in the corner.

“This is amazing.” You were in compete awe. This really was an amazing spot in the city. You could see all the hustle and bustle, but from where you stood, everything was quiet and calm.

Levi smiled and pulled you forward, moving to the edge of the building so you could see the street below, sliding himself under the blanket with you, which left no complaints coming from you. As beautiful as it was, it was cold and you would gladly accept any form of warmth he could provide.

“You’re quite the romantic guy, Levi.” You cuddled closer to him and he laughed.

“That’s definitely the first time I’ve been called that.” He looked at you, his grey eyes twinkling with the lights of the city.

“Well then I guess I’m the lucky one.” You smiled, watching as his cheeks blushed pink and his smile turned into a lip bite.

“Y/N?”

“Yes.”

“Would it be alright if I kissed you?”

“I was hoping you would.” You turned your body to face him more, holding back a shiver as his hand moved to your waist, his fingertips grazing your bare back, and his other hand going to cup your jaw. His eyes were focused on your lips and he slowly moved forward, the closer he got to you, the slower he moved, not hesitating, but savoring the moment. It gave you time to move your hand to his shoulder and you could feel the hardened muscle through his shirt.

His lips reached yours and just like water rippling out from one small droplet, the warmth from his touch spread throughout your body quickly from the moment you felt it. Your breath caught as you felt the plushness of his lips pressing so delicately against yours and before you had the chance to enjoy the sensations, he slowly pulled away, his gaze returning to the view of this city. You smiled as you watched him smile uncertainly.

“It’s late, but…” He tapped his fingers on the railing lightly and slowly looked up to you.” If you want to stay the night, I would… I would like you to stay.”

He laughed to himself nervously, but the look in his eyes was everything you needed to say ‘yes’ to that and he was making it so hard to resist. You were sure there must have been so many people who met Levi and mistook him for being shy and naïve and what a mistake they made because the bravado this man held had heat rolling through your body.

“Damn.” You smiled coyly. “Damn, you really made that tempting.”

He did that quiet chuckle into his fist that he did earlier in the café and you laughed with him, leaning forward and resting your chin on your hand.

“I really would love to, but it’s already late and I have to be up in a couple hours, as I’m sure you do.” He nodded.

“I understand.” He was still smiling and it really had you hating that you had to say no. “Can I walk you home?”

“I would like that.”

Your apartment was only a couple blocks from his café so the walk only took five minutes and before you really had the chance to enjoy your last couple minutes with him, you were in front of your apartment door.

“Thanks for walking me home.” You smiled, your hand on your door knob. Levi was looking away, but turned to you to speak.

“It’s not a problem. You’re surprisingly close to my shop.” He shook his bangs out of his eyes and it made you wonder if you should kiss him.

“I am.” You smiled. “I think I might be frequenting that shop more often now that I know you’ll be there.”

He smiled, letting out a puff of air as he looked down. You really wanted to kiss him again and you were pretty sure he was feeling the same way. You reached for his hand and held it, leaning your body forward. When he looked up at you, you confidently placed a small kiss on his cheek, letting yourself linger there before pulling back and smiling at him.

“Good night, Levi.” You dropped his hand and turned to your apartment door, twisting the knob and pushing the door open. Just as you were about to step inside, Levi grabbed your wrist and pulled you back. You probably would have fallen if it weren’t for him quickly holding your face, his hands on your cheeks. It felt warm and so soft on your face and his hold was incredibly gentle as were his eyes as he looked at you.

There was no hesitation as he slowly pulled you closer to him, his eyes dipping down to your lips, and you helped close the gap between you both until there was no space left at all and his lips pressed tenderly against yours.

You were surprised at just how soft his kiss was, definitely more forceful than before, but still so soft. The smooth, cushiony feeling of his upper lip pressing against yours had you weak and you rested your hand on his shoulder. That is until his hands shifted to holding the back of your head and your waist, drawing your body even closer to his and that weakness in your knees turned to prickled skin all over your body. He opened his mouth and you opened yours, sighing as you slipped your tongue out to meet his somewhere in the middle. It was impossible to know just how quickly his heart was beating, but if it was beating at even a fraction of the rate yours was at, it definitely explained why his hand was moving up your back and why the kiss was deepening even further.

Just as quickly as he pulled you close, he separated the kiss and rested his forehead against yours. The smell of tea from your breaths mixing in the space between your lips as you both took quick, deep breaths.

“Can I see you tomorrow night?” He asked, his eyes still closed.

“Yes.” You smiled and he pulled you close again, kissing you briefly before stepping back, his hands moving to his pockets.

“Tomorrow.” The corner of his mouth barely lifted into a small smile, but you could read his excitement through that and it gave you butterflies and made you feel like a teenager.

“Tomorrow.” You nodded and stepped inside your apartment.

AoT Vets when they miss you

Featuring: Miche Zacharius, Hange Zoe, Erwin Smith & Levi Ackerman.

Miche Zacharius

Miche can't help but call you every couple of hours to hear the sound of your voice. But for times when he can't, he fishes out a carefully folded piece of paper from the bottom of his desk drawer; The first love letter you wrote to him. He has probably read it over a thousand times by now, his heart never failing to skip a beat at the sight of his name spelled out in your handwriting. He brings it to his face, inhaling the smell of your perfume off the parchment with the brightest smile on his face.

He leaves work early and drops by your favorite food truck to surprise you with dinner.

P.S.: Your voicemails are full of adorable, flirty messages from each other, and you listen to them many times throughout the day.

Hange Zoe

Hange works twelve hour shifts at the hospital, leaving their phone and other belongings in the locker room; which means that they have to go over half a day without you. Every time they are nervous before a complicated surgery or feeling grateful after a successful one, they pull out the silver pendant dangling on a silver chain, close to their heart, and open the tiny jewelry to find a photo inside, of you beaming at them. It never fails to bring them much needed solace when they press a kiss to it, dreaming about having you back in their arms.

Upon finally getting their hands on their phone in the evening, they send you a quick text before leaving for home, that makes you giggle when you read it.

"See you soon, cupcake! Can't wait to squish your face!"

P.S.: You drop by their hospital every few days with takeout from their favorite restaurant, having lunch together in your car while chit-chatting about your day.

Erwin Smith

Erwin is a busy man, juggling many deadlines and meetings on a daily basis. His schedule is a stressful one; and every time he needs to slow down, he finds himself lovingly gazing at the frame sitting pretty on the side of his desk. A picture of him and you, taken on one of the many vacations you took together. He keeps another photo of you in his wallet, sneaking glances at it whenever he thinks of you while on the go; a more intimate snap of him pressing a kiss to your temple as you lay your head on his chest. It calms his racing heart.

He hops on to his laptop to research destinations for your next trip together, minimizing the incognito window where he has spent days searching for the perfect solitaire ring to surprise you with.

P.S.: Erwin brings home a red rose for you every evening, accompanied by a small note reminding you of how much he loves you. You have a large jar full of them that you go back to when he’s on one of his long business trips.

Levi Ackerman

All Levi needs to do is raise his hand before his eyes every time he misses you. One look at the gleaming platinum band sitting snug around his ring finger is enough to make him forget about all his worries. The memories of the best day of his life when you happily slid it down his finger in front of your friends and family bring a faint smile to his face. He places a warm kiss on the ring while sipping on steaming tea out of the delicate porcelain cup that you gifted him on your second date, sighing at the thought of returning to you soon.

He checks the time every few minutes, not only to count down the hours before he sees you again, but also to get a glimpse of the phone screen that is a picture of you using your fingers to stretch his lips into a smile.

P.S.: You fluster him by texting him spicy photos of yourself, especially when you know that he's in a big meeting with Erwin and Miche.

Whats in the AOT Characters Bags Modern AU Part 1

Note: Basically I found a picrew that let's you make whats in my bag pictures and decided to do it on my seaside city au characters. It's very rough introductions but I think the concept is so cute. Also my first time doing headcanons so be nice 😳

The Vets:

Levi

Smart phone only cause everyone convinced him to get one for group-chats

No wallet cause i feel like he keeps his cards on his phone when he figured out the feature

Smokes but is trying to quit

Has a gameboy he plays only when hes bored or wants hange to stop talking and hands it to them

Secretly draws and likes taking pictures of his friends

Is a lawyer but also owns a tea shop by the ocean close to hanges lab

Used to be on the tennis team at seaside city uni

Got a four leaf clover while out with you ;)

Has reading glasses but only few people have seen him with them. He “doesn’t need them” so he says but he went to the doctors after Erwin made him read something and he had to hold it five feet away from his face just to make out what it is.

Cute bag cause i feel modern nanaba is an it girl but also humble af. So she doesnt know shes so admired.

I can't help but ask if it's okay to request for Levi x reader, where the reader is like a legal advisor for the survey corps, she would often come to meetings and they would come to them for legal matters and she's highly intelligent and Levi is impressed and starts falling for the reader and the veterans like Hange and Erwin notices it and decided to help Levi with confessing. Maybe add in a little bit of the 104th cadets.

The moment he fell in love with you was like a click in his head. For a while now he'd been coming to meetings that you were in. As you spoke about legal information he was impressed. After thinking about your wonderful brain, he started to notice your looks and how you smiled. Every little thing you did was incredible and cute. He adored how you smiled, laughed, spoke and smelt.

The feelings Levi had for you he was very new to. Love and attraction were not a familiar thing to him, so having these feelings build up was surprising. It was clear to him that he needed to be cautious because one false move with something he wasn't familiar with and he could lose you. He wasn't even certain if you held affection for him, but you seemed to laugh, smile and talk to him a lot more. Plus, you gave him lingering touches.

After one meeting he decided to make a small move, which was to escort you out of the base and back home. He released a long shaky breath as you said bye to the others and walked towards Levi. Levi stammered your name causing you to smile at him.

You hummed a little laugh. "Everything okay?"

He gulped hard. "C-Can I uh...escort y-you home?"

You moved closer to him. "I would like that."

"G-Great."

Erwin waved Levi over. "Levi, a quick word before you go?"

Levi nodded. "Sure."

You smiled. "I'll wait outside for you."

He gave you a tiny smile. "Y-Yes." As soon as you left he hurried over to Erwin, Hange and Mike. "What?"

Erwin placed his hand on Levi's shoulder. "Confidence, Levi. She clearly likes you back. Don't push your own boundaries, okay? If you're not ready to ask her out, don't push yourself."

"Mm, but I want her."

Mike chuckled. "Just go for it. Talk to her on the walk and at the end by her door ask her on a date."

Hange clasped her hands. "Yes! Ask her out on a tea date! You both love tea or you could ask her to go to the local bookstore."

Levi's brows furrowed as he thought about everyone's advice. "Confidence. Ask her out at the end. Recommend tea or a bookstore."

Erwin patted Levi's shoulder. "Perfect. You've got this."

Levi released another long sigh. "I've got this."

Hange leaned closer. "Remember, she likes you. I can tell she does. You've got this."

"I've got this." He clicked his neck and then left the room. He made his way out to see you stood with a little gathering around you. Levi could feel his cheeks burning when he observed them making a big fuss about you. "Tch, oi you lot? Shouldn't you be training?"

Connie saluted. "Captain! Sorry, we just wanted to talk to this lady. We see her here all the time."

Sasha grinned. "She gave me a snack."

Levi huffed. "Don't take snacks from her."

"But."

You walked over to Levi. "It's okay. I don't mind feeding them. I always have snacks on me anyway."

Levi's cheeks burned at how cute you were. "That's always good to have."

"I think so too." You turned to Armin. "I'll come back and we can talk a bit more about law."

Armin bowed to you a little. "Thank you. I look forward to it."

You waved to the small group of 104th cadets. "Bye, all! Lovely to see you."

Connie gasped. "She's the Captain's girlfriend!"

Levi's cheeks went pink at the comment. "L-Let's go."

You hummed a laugh as you walked with Levi. "I'm your girlfriend according to them."

Levi shivered. "A-Ah, yes."

You nibbled your lip. "Sounds rather nice." You moved closer to him. "Being your girlfriend that is."

Levi nodded at your comment. "I-It does."

"So, what do you think?"

He gulped hard as he walked. "Well, uh...I would...I ah..."

You reached over and lightly squeezed his hand. "Sorry if you feel pressured."

"I-I don't, I just...you fluster me."

"I do?"

He gripped your hand stopping you from letting go. "Good kind. I uh...I like you."

You rubbed your thumb against his soft skin. "I like you too."

He slowed down when he saw your home. "I uh...I don't want to get to your house because it means our walk is over."

You hummed. "I don't want to say goodbye either."

He looked into your eyes. "Date."

You stared at Levi and saw him wince. "Date?"

He lowered his head. "I was meant to ask you out in a smoother way. Ah...I want...would you like a date? Tea or a bookshop? Maybe both?"

You leaned closer and kissed his cheek. "How about tomorrow?"

He lightly touched his cheek. "Yes please."

"How about at eleven?"

"Yes. I'll come and pick you up."

You smiled. "Perfect. I can't wait."

I adore Levi but sometimes his manipulative personality gets to me - and he almost gives off some incel-like vibes sometimes 😅. So, what do you think would happen if Levi gathers his courage and asks MC out but they have to let him down because theyre already dating another brother (like mammon or someone levi is really annoyed by). I feel like Levis reaction could be dangerous because of his envy and self deprecation-turned-anger

okay but highkey when I first met Levi I was so creeped out. definitely has some incel vibes, especially in the beginning. ive ranted abt how he reminds me of really toxic nerdy guys before (post here) and its super creepy some times.

but his toxic ass is still my favorite so lets brake this scenario down for some unhealthy funsies shall we~

I think it would depend on a mix of how Levi saw your relationship, and which brother it was. (he would handle you dating Mammon worse then Satan, for instance)

for Levi to ask you out in the first place is a lot for him, I dont think he would explicitly do so unless he was primarily sure you were going to say yes. and his self esteem is destroyed after (it'll probably take him a couple hundred years to build it back again)

now if he takes it okay (which, he won't like blow up at you or his brother, at least not at first) he will mostly just slink away and not be seen for a couple weeks. probably stops talking to you out of embarrassment. he will hold a grudge against you and whichever brother, his jealousy bubbling in his belly every time he sees the two of you.

if hes trying to maintain a healthy mindset, he will completely dive into fiction as an attempt to get over you. poor baby waited to long to ask you out and as a result he was already in love with you and now hes morning his broken heart. he fucked up big time as being "just friends" wasn't an option anymore baby was already in to deep.

oh and if he fails at this, or your brother of choice is someone he already despises, things will go very differently.

I think this is the quickest way we would end up with a yandere situation in the devildom. if Levi couldn't handle who you were dating things would turn bad really quickly.

he would still lock himself away, unable to face you from his embarrassment, but instead of amercing himself and trying to forget his envy hes going to start plotting. I dont think the man gets enough credit about how fucking good his plans can be.

sure hes an Epic Gamer TM but hes also a war vet. how many ships has he lead to their doom, willing to pay the price to further his goals.

hes a master at strategy, and envy is a hell of a motivator. he doesn't just desire you, oh no that's only one small part now. now he needs to take you away from his brother, from all of his brothers. you are no longer a person but instead an object for him to collect and put on his shelf. a specialty one of a kind piece he refuses to loose to anyone else.

you probably won't put the pieces together until its to late. until someone is dead or close to it. until your bones are broken or, if he can manage it, your mind instead.

Levi would like to trap you in a game, something outside of the physical world where no one else can reach you. leave you trapped like a monster inside a pokeball until your mind cracks. but if that isn't an option hes not apposed to breaking your physical bones, or removing your limbs if needed.

oh and your "Prince Charming" won't be coming to save you. Levi will make sure of that. he may be the third brother, but he is master of the seas. he will hide you away where none of his brothers can reach. maybe even dragging you down to meet Davy Jones himself, legs sewn together, holes sliced in your neck. there's some story about a mermaid who was turned to sea foam after losing her beloved to another... but Levi doesn't plan to make her mistake.

Hi there! I'm Eliza! This is my first about me and I'll probably update at some point! I'm in my 30s, use pronouns she/her, was born 8/15 making me a Leo (pretty sure that's wrong though haha) and am ISFP-T. English speaking and I'm learning ASL. I joined tumblr to connect with other AOT fans and to share some of my work which I've never done before. I'm generally a bit shy but like interactions. This is a SFW page and though I may read some NFSW stories I don't interact with them much. No offense, just personal reasons. I write mainly for Levi, with some Jean and sometimes others thrown in. There's lots of fluff around here with the occasional angsty piece. A lot is modern AU. While I take suggestions I don't really do requests, mainly because I don't want to disappoint and make sure I feel motivated to give something worthy of the ask. Sometimes I get burned out so I can't promise that. Honestly even he couldn’t tell at first that the noble man (lets call him, Gene.) you were talking to was flirting with you.

You were absolutely oblivious, you think Gene is just having a conversation with you and Gene thinks you like him.

When Erwin notices it, at first he’s like “hmm, maybe Reader’s talking business with him.” And then Gene kissed the back of your hand, in which he felt his eye twitching. He started pouting really bad, he looked like a kicked puppy from across the ballroom. He didn’t want to be rude, so he kept reassuring himself that it was a friendly gesture.

You were absolutely clueless, like “this is fine.” clueless. You had no idea Gene was trying his hardest to court you. Until You felt Erwin behind you, that is.

You know those big coughs that you do to get someone’s attention. Yeah, Erwin coughed REALLY loud. Mind you, Erwin probably towers most nobles. So imagine the face on Gene when he saw this tall, titan-slaying commander towering over him. I think he almost peed his pants honestly, he was like “uh..it was nice meeting you, miss Last name, but uh..I- I uhm.. Igottago-“

Yeah he speed-walked his scared ass outta there, you were kinda just like “what?” You saw Erwin’s shadow and just turned around with the cutest smile on your face.

“Erwin!” You chirped, he softened his glare on the noble and looked at you, cue his pout coming back. “You really didn’t know?”

“Know what?” You asked, walking with him, hand in hand. You guys were walking back to your carriage to go home for the night.

“Reader, he was flirting with you, quite literally trying to court you.” Erwin groaned, his jealousy starting to show. You were still a bit confused, so you just stared at him with a blank expression.

“He was just being nice Erwin, come on.” You nudged his arm, trying to get him to loosen up, he looked at you, in which you looked at him with puppy dog eyes, in response he groaned, being a sucker for your puppy dog eyes.

He huffed, “you’re staying back at the headquarters from now on.” Your eyes widened slightly, “What?! Why?!” You shook him arm. “Because I don’t want you being flirted with, you’re mine reader, and I’m yours.” Erwin squished your cheeks together.

“Owf Cwouse I’m youws-“ you took his hands off your cheek. “You’re the only man for me,” you laughed as you entered the carriage.

“Now get in, I’m feeling a little empty inside and you’re the only who can fix that.”

Oh dear, if you’re willing to flirt with the Levi Ackerman’s S/O, you’re basically asking for a death wish.

He usually isn’t too jealous when it comes to someone flirting with his S/O genuinely because he’s either busy doing something or he isn’t there at all but...

He’s not called Humanity’s Strongest for nothing. Both of you were in charge for training the cadets. You were known for your kind behaviour, so obviously a lot of the cadets would ask for your training.

In which Levi was okay with because, duh less work for him. He was doing fine until he glanced at you and saw a male cadet getting a little too close. (calling him, Sam.)

You guys were in a secret relationship at the time, he didn’t want anyone teasing you or him about anything so both of you kept it a secret.

See, he regrets that decision right now because it’s really a pain in the ass to see Sam acting like he doesn’t know the moves when he knows damn well he taught the brat those moves a week ago.

So with a clenched jaw, he glared at Sam as you were behind the cadet, teaching him the same move Levi taught him.

Levi looked across the field to see you behind Sam, helping him strike his punch correctly, he felt angered and a little jealous, watching you be so touchy with him.

He sighed and shook his head, trying to calm himself to keep him from doing something, that is until he watched as Sam tripped you just so he could “catch” you. He caught you in those romantic poses.

You weren’t really paying attention to what he was trying to achieve and instead thanked him, unaware of his plan to kiss you. You tried to get out of Sam’s hold, until you realized that Sam was getting close to you.

You were about to start freaking out until someone pulled you into their arms, you looked at your “saviour”’s face, seeing it’s Levi. “What the fuck do you think you’re doing to a section commander, cadet?” Sam gulped, walking back. “Just making sure captain Reader’s okay, captain Levi.” Sam saluted, sweating profusely.

“That requires you tripping them and almost kissing them?” Levi’s eyebrow raised as his arm tightened against your waist, that’s when a lightbulb lights up in your mind, ‘Is..is Levi jealous??’ “uh well-” Sam tried to explain himself, “I taught you this move last week, you have no excuse to ask for captain Reader’s help.”

A scowl was long planted on Levi’s face. Sam scoffed, “Okay, so I wanted to court captain Reader, but Sir, they’re single, you can’t blame for wanting to court them.” Levi took a step forward, you prevented him from beating Sam up.

“They’ve got a boyfriend.” He spat out, basically death staring Sam down. “And who’s that?” Sam laughed out.

Levi clicked his tongue, before you knew it, Levi’s lips were on yours. “Me.” He stated.

Hange Zöe

Hange, they usually are chill most of the times, to be honest they don’t get too jealous, it’s only when it’s painfully obvious, that’s when it starts to tick them off.

I mean, making Levi Ackerman mad is one thing, but Hange?? I’m already planning your funeral. One of the corps’ rules, never ever make Hange Zöe mad.

It does not help when their S/O absolutely is oblivious.

Hange starts off with being a little skeptical and glancing at you from afar. then it becomes a stare once in a while, and then their mood gets soiled.

they start to become irritated, at this one garrison squad member (let’s name him Avery) talking with you. You should actually be helping them with their experiments.

And they snap when they see you being offered a flower.

Little clueless Reader, just confirmed Avery’s death, it’s been signed this point on.

You could hear AND feel Hange’s stomps nearing both you and Avery.

God help the poor garrison member, because they’re about to be sent to heaven with how jealous and irritated Hange is.

“Hey, Avery.” Hange’s voice cut through your guys’ conversation, “Hange!” you chirped, holding onto the flower Avery had gifted you. “Hange! You’ve met Reader here right?” Avery asked, also unaware of Hange’s attitude.

“yes, they’re actually my partner.” Hange’s teeth was gritted as they took their rightful place beside you, pulling you close. Cue the awkward silence, “Oh my god, Hange I’m so sorry, I thought they were you know-” Hange didn’t even let him finish.

“Just get the fuck out, Avery.” Hange gave him a glare that almost made Avery shit his pants. “Yes captain!” He saluted and left before Hange could murder him. “What was that about, Hange?” You asked as they took the flower out of your hand.

“He was courting you, and you were letting him, darling.” Hange stated, as you covered your mouth with your hand, “Oh! I’m sorry Hange! Darn it, I’m so oblivious.” You scolded yourself.

“It’s good you can still remember that you belong to me.” Hange continued, inspecting the flower gifted to you. “Of course, you only, Hange.” You agreed, looking at them.

“Wanna prove it to me then, Reader?”

Miche Zacharias

Miche is kind of like a grizzly bear, you should never be around him when he’s mad or jealous.

He tends to be more aggressive when it comes to him being irritated, I don’t mean to headcanon him as a wolf, but I know he just growls when a little thing goes wrong.

He’s possessive over you now, but now he’s basically just suffocating you with his over-protectiveness.

I feel as if he can tell when someone has some kind of weird scent, and it basically spoils everything he can smell.

He tends to hover around you once he gets jealous, he’ll get clingy and probably need to have you touching him somehow, holding hands, side by side. He just needs to be touching you.

He’s the type of person to also just, push away who ever you’re talking with, and just drag you away.

One time, you and him went on a date and the person who worked there hit on you right in front of him, Miche made him almost piss his pants.

Miche and you were out at an event for survery corps members, celebrating your recent successes with your latest expedition. Miche was with Erwin and Levi while you chatted up a storm with a noble named Walter.

Miche could feel himself about to break his glass, watching you and Walter laugh together. “So, are you seeing anyone?” Walter asked, you stopped laughing, shocked that he’d ask you that question out of nowhere.

“What?-” At this point Walter had a hold of both of your hands, you were absolutely still in place, “Actually don’t mind that, can I court you?” A big smile was on Walter’s face, wondering about your answer. “I-”

“You actually can’t, they have a boyfriend.” Miche had long appeared behind you, towering over both you and Walter. You closed your eyes, in a bit of relief, “Yes, this is Miche, he’s a section commander and my boyfriend.” You smiled, hooking your hand with Miche’s, silently hoping that Walter would leave you both alone.

“Ah, I’m terribly sorry, I thought you didn’t have a partner, that’s my fault.” Walter quickly apologized, seeing how intimidating Miche was. “well, I-..I should go, it was lovey meeting you and your boyfriend, Reader.” Walter speed-walked his way out of his situation, leaving you with a pouty and jealous Miche.

“Why talk to those who look like they have it tiny, Reader?”
