Time travel mishaps with Bakugou where you’re from the future, where you’re happily married with three kids and stuck in the past when you couldn’t stand each other.

Four had to admit, it was harder to get to know patients on night shift. He’d just finished his day shift rotation and had flipped over to nights for the next six weeks. His first week he’d taken care of someone who had been involved in a farming accident and flown in; initially the man was conscious, trying to do what he could with the injuries he had, not quite stable enough for surgery but not quite sick enough to be sedated and intubated. That had changed by Four’s second shift, but by then he’d already managed to get to know the man a little, even if it had only been for a few hours.

When his third shift came, he got to readmit the patient from the OR after the surgery. He spent twelve hours in that person’s room working on stabilizing him and keeping track of everything going on. He reassured him when the patient woke and still had the breathing tube, he talked to him and held his hand until he fell back asleep with the sedation. And then he was off for four days, and when he came back, other nurses took care of the man.

Night shift didn’t really allow one to get to know a patient, but the few hours and time with family had been enough. Four found himself peeking into the patient’s room while he slept, smiling at the progress he was making. Sometimes he’d glance as he walked by the room and he saw family chatting with the man. He got the urge to go inside and talk to them, but he never really had the time nor the words. And the patient wouldn’t remember him anyway. Just seeing the man doing well and progressing was enough.

Four sighed in contentment as he paused by the patient’s room, seeing him watching TV and doing well. He was happy for him. It was good to get a victory once in a while.

Chuckling to himself, he walked on. We’re all rooting for you, buddy. Keep doing great.

Knowing how his first life will end, Wei Wuxian decides to hide his survival, and leave the cultivation world behind. Kay's comments: This story left me absolutely speechless, it was just so perfect! As if someone magically knew all my favourite things and wrote them into a story. It's got genius inventor Wei Wuxian, who becomes a rogue cultivator of sorts and finds his family with the Wens! It's got actual consequences from grave injuries that aren't magically healed! It's got Wen Qing being a good leader and the best sister! It's got Lan Wangji suffering the pain of loss much sooner and therefore learning his lesson sooner and holding on tight to Wei Wuxian when they meet again! It's got the sects getting what they have coming! And it's also incredibly well-written and I literally couldn't stop myself from reading it in one sitting. Excerpt: Wei Ying is too exhausted and in too much pain to deal with the rage, fear and grief. He is already overwhelmed with those feelings from the fall of Lotus Pier. He cannot process the memory or any of his emotions now. Right now, he needs to focus on healing as much as he can. The Wen will come for them soon. His golden core opened his airways and protected them while he was unconscious. He focuses the remainder of his spiritual energy on his back; he needs to stop the bleeding. He can't stay here, but he needs to be sure he won't loose too much blood or get infected through the open, weeping gashes on his back. He meditates as Jiang Cheng's breathing evens out, having finally burned through his rage and cried himself to sleep beside the broken, bloody body of his childhood companion. Once he is sure all the bleeding stopped, he slowly rolls himself into the water of the river next to them. When Jiang Cheng wakes, it will look like Wei Wuxian moved in his sleep – drowned and carried away by the river.

I love that ship where both characters are introduced as friendly, only for one to turn out to have been lying the whole time and try to kill the other, all of which eventually culminates in their defeat and dramatic (and literal) fall, only then for them to return as a reluctant ally of their once enemy who knows them way too well and whose new relationship with them is largely interpreted as bantery. What do you mean which one.

However, six years later, in 2018, the first renders were revealed, and today, this promising concept is down on its way to the market, with a design that stayed as aerodynamic and special as the initial sketches.

It needs only some seconds for the sleek rotatable trailer to transform into a glamping RV. With an automatic hydraulic mechanism, the inner section of the camper rotates 90 degrees and uncovers an L-shaped scheme. 

The main cabin measures around nine meters, while the revealed deck extends the total floor space by 70%. The U-shaped wall accommodates a fold-down table or bench seat, enhancing the mobile living experience.

Summary: There’s a child lingering in the outskirts of the cultivation world. No one knows where he comes from, his age nor his goal. This is the story of how he found his way back home. Kay's comments: It's been a hot moment since I last read this, but I still remember how much of a hoot it's been! The story is absolutely incredible, like, it's definitely one of the most creative time-travel stories I've read! I really enjoyed how it came together slowly, it had me really hooked! Something happened that made the world forget Wei Wuxian, who now lingers at the edge of the culvation world as a nameless child (and in the past), helping where he can while the cultivation world grows worried over his influence. It was super cool to see him be re-introduced to the other charascters and I enjoyed everyone's characterization as well. Not for Jiang Cheng fans! Excerpt: “What is gongzi’s name?” he asks, realizing that at no point did the boy introduce himself. “Who knows?” The boy shrugs. It looks strange when he’s still hugging the sword. The act looks almost involuntary. “My name was forgotten and it’s not my place to tell.” Once again, Lan Zhan doesn’t know what to say. He can tell that there is a story behind this boy’s response and attitude, but he can’t pry. It is not his place to pry. He already overstepped once. Doing so again would just be rude. “Now, now, er-gongzi, it’s getting late. I’m sure you don’t want to skip your curfew. Oh, but the innkeeper only gives morning meals. You won’t get anything to eat now.” The boy sits on the bed near the window. The bed is a mess of outer robes and sheets. He makes himself comfortable, falling on the mattress with a plop and a pleased groan. He sounds nothing like the person who just lectured Lan Zhan on the intricacies of demonic cultivation. Lan Zhan sits down on the other bed. He carefully sets Bichen and Wangji down before removing his boots. He glances at ZhiRuo. Somehow, at some point, she laid her head on the table and fell asleep. Lan Zhan didn’t know ghosts could sleep at all. His gaze returns to the nameless boy. “About your cultivation method, can you tell me?” The boy blinks at him. He looks shocked. “You... Want to know?” “You made solid points.” Lan Zhan shifts until he is kneeling on the mattress. “I want to understand, so I can improve.” “Oh.” The boy scratches his neck. “That’s... Not what I was expecting. But it’s good! Very good! Definitely worthy of Han—of Lan-er-gongzi!”
