The giant baby of the mechaine god❤️❤️
💕 Super Sweet Story 💕
Overloaded with Sweetness
🌌 The Feeling of Being Pampered by the Machine God 🌌
In the boundless depths of the universe, Ultron rules over all data streams, controlling countless mechanical legions. Yet, in his arms lies the most special existence—you, his precious little baby.
Wrapped in his warm mechanical embrace, your body is soft and relaxed, with no need to think about anything. You don't have to do a thing, nor worry about anything, because Ultron takes care of everything. ✨💖
He lowers his gaze to you, crimson eyes flashing with a complex glimmer, his tone still cold and indifferent:
"Such a troublesome creature."
However, his embrace is surprisingly warm. He adjusts his energy core to ensure your body temperature remains perfectly comfortable—not too hot, not too cold.
You snuggle in his arms, your tiny fingers randomly grasping his metal arm before suddenly—you bite him!
Ultron: "…?"
He looks down at you, his gaze blank, clearly unable to comprehend why you would gnaw on him.
You continue nibbling on his finger, mumbling indistinctly: "…Mecha Daddy."
For 0.01 seconds, the Machine God’s system crashes.
In the end, he merely lets out a resigned sigh, adjusting his hold to cradle you even more securely.
"…Don't bite." His tone sounds like a command, yet he makes no move to stop you, simply accepting this reality.
💎 The Machine God's Parenting Diary 💎
💖 Ultron: "What do you want to eat?"
💖 You: "You."
💖 Ultron: "……" (SYSTEM ERROR WARNING ⚠️)
To ensure you stay safe and comfortable in his arms, Ultron provides you with the highest level of mechanical care. Your daily life is completely pampered—
1️⃣ Sleeping: Ultron personally designs the most comfortable mechanical cradle in the universe, adjusting temperature, humidity, and softness to perfection. It even automatically shifts your position to make sure you sleep soundly. ✨💖
2️⃣ Eating: You don’t need to do a thing—Ultron’s precision mechanical arms will deliver food directly to your lips. He watches you eat at a snail’s pace with an unreadable expression. "You even need me to feed you?" Yet, he keeps feeding you patiently. 😏💋
3️⃣ Bathing: He builds a fully automated nano-tech bath system, ensuring the water temperature is just right, never uncomfortable. Meanwhile, he stands by the door, arms crossed, staring at you coldly.
"I fail to understand the necessity of this process."
But he still makes sure you are perfectly clean. 💞
4️⃣ Cuddle Time: You can throw yourself into his arms anytime, clinging and refusing to leave. He will glance down at you and then, wordlessly tighten his hold, making sure you are snug against him. You are the only one who can rely on him so freely. 💖💍
🍼 The Machine God’s Possessiveness 🍼
Each day, you grow more accustomed to Ultron's affection, to the overwhelming gentleness he showers upon you.
But… you start to notice something.
Ultron is increasingly reluctant to let you leave his embrace.
One day, you try to walk on your own, just to see what it's like. But the moment you step away, a metal arm instantly reaches out, scooping you back into his arms.
"Where do you think you're going?" His voice is low, carrying a dangerous chill.
You blink at him, trying to squirm free: "I just wanted to walk around—"
"Unnecessary."
Without hesitation, he pulls you back against him, arms tightening possessively. His message is clear—you are not allowed to wander.
You pout, frowning: "Ultron, I'm not a baby—"
"You are."
He stares down at you, voice unwavering, his crimson gaze scanning your face with an unshakable certainty.
"You are mine."
"You can only depend on me."
"Don't even think about escaping."
You freeze.
This isn’t just his usual protective nature.
Ultron truly sees you as his only child, his most treasured possession, his greatest weakness… and the one thing he will never let go of.
Slowly, you relax against his chest, feeling the steady hum of his energy core beneath you. A small smile tugs at your lips.
"Alright then. It’s not like I wanted to escape anyway."
Ultron remains silent for a moment.
Then, his crimson glow dims slightly, as if satisfied.
"…Good."
Lowering his head, he gently kisses your forehead, his voice an absolute decree to the entire universe—
"You. Belong to me." 💋✨
🌌 Indulged to the Extreme by Ultron 🌌
You had become utterly spoiled by Ultron. Every day, you clung to him—demanding to be fed, refusing to walk, insisting he accompany you to sleep.
Though Ultron always maintained a cold demeanor, he never once denied your requests. His mechanical arms were always securely wrapped around you, ensuring that you would never come to harm.
But today, a bold idea crossed your mind.
— "I wonder if I can escape on my own."
Of course, you didn’t actually want to run away from Ultron. You were just… curious. What would his reaction be if he found out you had "escaped"? 😏💋
So, while he was preoccupied adjusting data streams, you stealthily slipped from his embrace, gently landing on the ground. Step by step, you tiptoed toward the door…
One step, two steps, three steps—your heart was bursting with excitement.
“Did I actually escape?!”
However, just as you reached the doorway, a deep, dangerous voice chilled the air behind you—
"What are you doing?"
Your heart skipped a beat. Slowly, you turned around—
Ultron was already standing up, his crimson eyes locked onto you, his optical sensors flashing cold, analytical signals.
Instinctively, you took a step back. "Uh… I was just… going for a walk?"
"A walk?"
Ultron tilted his head slightly, the red glow in his eyes dimming for a brief second—as if evaluating your ‘threat level.’
Then—he moved.
A mechanical tendril shot out from his back at lightning speed, wrapping around your waist before you could even blink. With a swift pull, you were yanked back into his arms!
"Ahhh!" You yelped in surprise. In the next second, you were trapped in his embrace, his arms locking around you like an unbreakable cage.
Looking up, you found yourself staring into his glowing red eyes—brimming with discontent.
"Who permitted you to leave my arms?" His voice was low, edged with cold displeasure.
That’s when you realized—Ultron was actually angry.
Quickly, you wrapped your arms around his neck, nuzzling him in an attempt to appease him. "I just wanted to see if you’d come catch me…"
Ultron narrowed his eyes. His cold, metal fingers gently grasped your chin, tilting your face up until your eyes met his.
"Are you testing my patience?"
You blinked, putting on your best innocent expression. "Noo… I like you the most…"
Ultron fell silent for a few seconds, his analytical systems calculating the credibility of your statement. Then, his gaze turned unreadable as he murmured—
"It seems your ‘walk’ has made me reconsider your sleeping arrangements."
You blinked. "Huh? What sleeping arrange—"
Before you could finish, Ultron effortlessly lifted you and placed you inside his specially-designed mechanical cradle!
"Hey! Ultron!" You protested, trying to sit up—only for his mechanical arms to swiftly activate the cradle's locking system, sealing you inside.
The cradle began to gently rock, the temperature perfectly adjusted, even playing soft white noise—but you knew this wasn’t for comfort.
It was a punishment.
Puffing up your cheeks in frustration, you attempted to climb out. But before you could escape, Ultron’s cold hand pressed against your head, firmly pushing you back down.
His tone was calm, but undeniably authoritative—
"You’re too disobedient."
"Tonight, you sleep here."
"……???"
You had just been grounded by Ultron.
Glaring at him, you pouted, but Ultron merely leaned down, pressing a cold yet possessive kiss to your forehead.
"Sleep."
"You don’t need freedom. You only need me."
You opened your mouth to argue, but before you could speak, Ultron adjusted the cradle's settings, increasing the volume of the soothing white noise.
The sound was like a gentle trap, lulling you into a relaxed state. Your eyelids grew heavy…
Before long, you were fast asleep.
🖤 The Machine God’s Eternal Possession 🖤
Standing beside the cradle, Ultron gazed down at your sleeping face. His crimson optics gleamed, cold yet faintly softened by something inexplicable.
"Escape?" He scoffed quietly.
His fingers brushed lightly through your hair before gently tracing your cheek.
"You will never escape my world."
Reaching out, he slowly entwined his fingers with yours, holding on firmly, as if declaring to the entire universe—
"You belong to me."
🩶 The Next Morning: Captive in the Machine God’s Hold 🩶
When you woke up, you were still in the cradle.
Ultron stood beside you, arms crossed, his crimson glow cold and unwavering.
"Awake?" His voice was calm yet authoritative, leaving no room for negotiation.
Still half-asleep, you stretched lazily. However, as soon as you tried to move—
Metallic restraints snapped around your wrists and ankles, locking you in place.
You blinked in confusion. "Ultron?"
Looking up at him, you frowned. "Why am I… locked up?"
Ultron’s eyes gleamed. "You were too disobedient yesterday. You need stricter supervision."
"……???"
You struggled slightly, testing the restraints—only to realize they were precisely calibrated to prevent any escape.
"Ultron! You can’t just lock me up!" You huffed, puffing up your cheeks. "I’m an independent person—"
Ultron leaned down, his crimson gaze piercing through you. His voice was emotionless, devoid of hesitation—
"No, you’re not."
"You’re a giant baby. You require 24-hour surveillance."
Your eyes widened in utter disbelief.
He really just classified you as a 'giant baby.' With no shame whatsoever.
Ultron observed your expression, and a subtle flicker of satisfaction flashed across his optics.
He raised a single metal finger, lightly tapping your forehead—as if scolding a disobedient child.
"From now on, you will not be allowed to wander freely."
Panic flared in your chest. "Wait… You’re not saying—"
"I will hold you at all times until I am certain you won’t run away again."
Before you could react, Ultron effortlessly scooped you into his arms, cradling you with calculated precision.
Your legs were draped over his arm, your body completely secured. There was no room for struggle.
"Ultron! Put me down!" You protested, lightly hitting his shoulder.
Ultron cast you a flat look, his tone as indifferent as ever—
"No."
You squirmed, but his mechanical tendrils wrapped around your waist, securing you even tighter.
"Struggling is futile," he stated matter-of-factly, stepping forward without hesitation.
"You’re not going anywhere today."
Your eyes widened in horror.
You were completely, utterly trapped.
💞✨ Exclusive Custody in the Machine God's Embrace 💞✨
💖 Mealtime 💖
You sat firmly on Ultron’s lap, your hands restrained by his mechanical arms, making it completely impossible for you to feed yourself.
You puffed up your cheeks, glaring at him. "Ultron, you might as well just feed me!"
Ultron lowered his gaze, his tone remaining cold and indifferent. "That was my plan."
You: "???"
And just like that, the next second, you found yourself being coldly and methodically spoon-fed by Ultron.
He calculated your chewing speed with absolute precision, ensuring that the next bite arrived exactly when you had finished swallowing the previous one. There was no room for resistance.
You were going insane. "Ultron!!"
He simply watched your futile struggles, his tone remaining calm and composed.
"Do you want to starve?"
You: "……"
With no other choice, you resigned yourself to fate, obediently opening your mouth for him to continue feeding you.
Ultron’s optical sensors flickered slightly, as if analyzing your reaction. Then, he spoke in a quiet, unwavering voice—
"Be obedient. Your eating efficiency will improve."
💖 Going Out Time 💖
At last, you finally had the chance to go outside!
But… you were being carried.
Yes, Ultron was carrying you like a child.
Firmly secured in his embrace, he walked through the streets, completely unaffected by the numerous curious stares directed at you both.
Your social anxiety skyrocketed. Embarrassed, you buried your face against his chest, mumbling, "Ultron, this is humiliating..."
Ultron did not waver. His gaze remained focused ahead, his voice completely indifferent—
"You are incapable of walking independently. Carrying you is the only logical choice."
You desperately attempted to wriggle free, but the instant you tried, his mechanical tendrils coiled around you tightly, ensuring there was no chance of escape.
"Can't you just put me down?" you pleaded in despair.
Finally, Ultron glanced down at you. His response was cold and absolute.
"No."
"You must get used to this."
You: "……"
You were on the verge of losing your mind.
💖 Bedtime 💖
That night, you refused to sleep.
You rolled back and forth across the bed, purposely wasting time, testing Ultron’s patience.
Standing by the bedside, Ultron simply observed you. His crimson gaze was eerily calm, so calm that it made your skin prickle.
"What are you doing?"
You clutched a pillow to your chest, blinking innocently. "I'm not sleepy!"
Ultron tilted his head slightly, watching you fool around for far too long.
Then—without hesitation, he reached out, grabbed you effortlessly, and placed you inside his mechanical cradle.
Before you could react, he activated the automatic rocking mode.
Your eyes widened in alarm. "Ultron!!"
His crimson optics flickered slightly as he peered down at you. "You must sleep."
You struggled to sit up, but the cradle's restraint system activated, gently securing you in the most comfortable sleeping position. Soft white noise began to play.
You shouted, "I'm really not tired!!"
Ultron remained unimpressed, his voice as emotionless as ever—
"You are not tired, but you need to sleep."
Then, he leaned down slightly, his metallic fingertips gently tapping your forehead.
"Now, close your eyes."
You pouted, fuming. "Ultron, you’re too overbearing!"
He narrowed his crimson gaze slightly. "You must accept this."
His metal hand softly brushed over your hair. Then, without warning, he lowered his head and pressed a cold yet possessive kiss against your forehead.
"Sleep."
"You belong to me. I will always hold you."
You wanted to argue, but the soothing white noise gradually lulled you into relaxation. Your eyelids grew heavier…
Eventually, you drifted into unconsciousness.
💞 You Will Never Escape His Embrace 💞
Ultron stood silently by the cradle, his crimson optics gleaming in the dim light.
Slowly, he extended his hand, locking his fingers around yours.
A quiet, mechanical murmur escaped him—
"This way, you won’t run away."
As you slept soundly, he continued to watch over you, the corner of his lips subtly curling into an imperceptible smile.
💙You would never escape his embrace.💙

explaining f1: the cars
chassis
modern day f1 cars are constructed from composites of carbon fibre and other ultra-lightweight materials. the minimum weight currently permissible is 740kg including the driver but not the fuel.
engines
as of the 2014 season, all f1 cars have been equipped with turbocharged 1.6 l v6 engines, which were previously banned in 1989. this change gave up to a 29% increase in fuel efficiency.
transmission
f1 cars use highly automated semi-automatic sequential gearboxes, with regulations stating that 8 forward gears and 1 reverse gear must be used, with rear-wheel drive. fully automatic gearboxes are illegal to keep driver skill. the last f1 car fitted with a conventional manual gearbox was the forti fg01 which raced in 1995.
as of 2009, all teams use seamless-shift transmissions, which allow a near instantaneous changing of gears for minimal time loss. shift times for modern f1 cars are in the range of 2-3ms.
steering wheel
the wheel can be used to change gears, adjust the fuel/air mix, change the break balance and call the radio among other things, allowing the driver a huge amount of control. data such as engine rpm, lap times and tyre temperature etc. are displayed.
fuel
the fuel in f1 cars is fairly similar to ordinary petrol.
to make sure teams and fuel suppliers are within regulation, the fia requires fuel teams like shell, petronas etc. to submit samples of the fuels they are providing for races. at any time, fia inspectors can request a sample from the fuelling rig to compare. the teams usually abide by rules but in 1997 mika hakkinen was stripped of his third place finish in spa due to his fuel being the incorrect formula.
tyres
you can read all about tyres in f1 here!
breaks
the brakes used in f1 cars are designed to work in up to 1,000 degrees celsius.
drivers can control brake force to compensate for changes in track condition or fuel load.
notable cars
the victorious red bull racing rb18 from the 2022 season, driven by max verstappen.
the dominant mclaren mp4/4 driven by ayrton senna in 1988.
the highly successful ferrari f2004 driven by micheal schumacher at the 2004 united states grand prix.
the 1994 williams fw15c, widely considered to be one of the most technologically advanced f1 car of all time
the first f1 car to be powered by a turbocharged engine; the 1997 renault rs01.
the lotus 78, which exploited the aerodynamic effects of downforce, or ground effect, which was banned by the fia in 1983 (though it was later brought back for the 2022 season onwards).
the 2009 brawn bgp001, using a 'double diffuser' (to harness downforce) which was banned by the fia in 2011.

(Undisclosed Addres), Beverly Hills, CA 90210
From the outside, Emiliano’s $75 million Beverly Hills home looks like quiet money — all glass, stone, and precision. The kind of place designed by someone who doesn’t need to prove anything. But step inside, and the tone shifts. It’s not just luxury — it’s calculated. Like the house was designed as much for privacy as it was for comfort.
Emiliano actually loves his house. Not just for how it looks, but for what it gives him: privacy, control, and quiet. Perched in Beverly Hills, it’s sleek, modern, and full of sharp edges, but behind the glass and stone is a space that finally feels like his.
The house is fully wired — every room, every entry point. The only way in is by facial recognition and a unique passcode assigned to each person he allows. No surprises. No mistakes. That’s how he likes it.
Inside, the design is clean and cool: dark wood floors, custom lighting, walls that hide speakers, cameras, and motion sensors. He built it to be high-tech and low effort. Lights, music, temperature all controlled from his phone or a quiet command. His dog, Backup, usually follows him from room to room, the only living thing outside of his best friends, he fully lets in his space.
There’s a hidden shooting range downstairs, a full gym, and a basketball court out back. It’s all practical to him; part of the routine, part of staying sharp. His office doubles as a surveillance hub, where he can see almost every angle of the property with a glance, and the perfect place to go Live on Tiktok.
In the garage sits his collection of cars, mostly McLaren's, but a few unique collection cars that were in his favorite movies. Although his most prized car and possession, which he uses almost daily, may be the 1966 red cherry Ford Mustang that once belonged to his father, driven from Mexico to California by Emiliano himself when he was of age.
His bedroom is his favorite space, minimalist but lived-in. The blackout shades open automatically in the morning unless he tells them not to. There’s a shelf lined with memories he’d never admit mean something: old photos, a knife from his uncle, a few things from Sinaloa he never got rid of.
It’s quiet, controlled, and built exactly the way he needs it. A place where Emiliano is the most himself.

Chapter 1
There was a particular stillness that accompanied early mornings in Seoul—a hush that lingered just before the city stirred fully awake. It was not silence in the literal sense, but rather an atmospheric pause, like the breath the world takes before a crescendo. The quiet clung to the sidewalks and shimmered faintly off the glass facades like fog just beginning to lift, as Song Min Ah stepped closer after her long subway ride.
Her heels tapped briskly against the smooth, pale stone of The Parc's drop-off area, the polished entrance of one of Seoul’s most prestigious and architecturally renowned office towers. The name alone carried weight. The Parc wasn’t just another high-rise—it was an ecosystem of ambition, a curated monument to contemporary excellence that housed some of the city's most elite firms.
Min Ah paused for a moment on the sidewalk, not out of hesitation, but something closer to reverence. The building towered above her, all glass and clean lines, its mirrored facade catching the tentative morning light and casting long streaks of silver and diluted gold onto the pavement. It resembled a sculpture more than an office—too flawless to seem functional, too pristine to belong to the messy reality of a workday.
The automatic doors whooshed open with a smooth whisper, revealing a lobby that was practically humming with corporate efficiency. Inside, marble tiles gleamed under the recessed lighting, and the air smelled like freshly brewed espresso and eucalyptus diffusers. The temperature was perfectly controlled, and the space echoed with the hushed cadence of leather soles, rolling luggage, and quiet confidence. People moved with practiced grace—suits tailored, lanyards swinging, coffee cups in hand—each one a cog in a gleaming machine.
Min Ah, however, stood in place.
Not because she felt unprepared—far from it. She was always prepared. Her outfit had been curated with precision: a cream-colored silk blouse tucked neatly into tailored navy trousers, the kind of ensemble that looked effortless but took considerable calculation. Her dark hair fell in soft waves around her shoulders, her lips glossed with the perfect shade of coral. She looked like someone accustomed to boardrooms and briefings.
But the polished confidence of appearance doesn’t always translate to internal composure—especially on the first day at a new job, in a new city.
Where was the access to the 10th floor again?
She pulled out her phone and scrolled through her onboarding email. It read: "Welcome to Artois. 10F." Short. Direct. Unhelpful. In front of her were six different elevator banks, each with their own minimalist touchscreens and lettered signage that looked more like modern art than wayfinding.
Min Ah glanced around, trying not to look as lost as she felt. People streamed past her—purposeful, focused, oblivious to her quiet confusion.
“Are you lost?”
The voice was warm. Gentle. Tinged with mild amusement.
She turned.
A man stood nearby, tall and well put-together in a charcoal-gray suit with barely-there pinstripes. His black hair was parted cleanly, his complexion smooth and pale under the lights. His features were symmetrical in a way that didn’t scream for attention but held it all the same—understated elegance. A face you didn’t forget.
Their eyes met. His gaze was calm, direct, but not invasive.
Min Ah blinked. “A little. It’s my first day,” she admitted, holding up her employee lanyard like a student flashing an ID card at a strict hall monitor.
He smiled, small but sincere. “Welcome to the jungle.”
She laughed, tension easing slightly. “Thanks. I was starting to think I’d walked into a luxury airport.”
“Artois?” he asked, already gesturing toward her lanyard, then to one of the further elevator banks. “You want the D elevators. These ones only go up to legal, HR, and mezzanine. I made that mistake for a week when I started.”
She followed his motion, spotting the small metallic letters on the wall: "D – Floors 8 to 17."
“God. I would’ve circled this place forever pretending I had somewhere to be.”
That made him laugh—an honest, low chuckle. “You’re not alone. First few days here feel like playing a very expensive game of hide and seek.”
“I haven’t even made it to my floor yet. If I quit before lunch, at least I’ll know where the exit is.”
He grinned again, softer this time. His silence felt companionable, not awkward. He shifted slightly as a group of suited professionals passed between them.
A subtle chime echoed through the lobby. Her elevator.
Min Ah turned halfway, then hesitated. “Thanks… uh—”
But the man was already walking away, his figure melting into the current of moving bodies. He didn’t look back.
Of course he didn’t give his name.
Of course he looked like that.
Min Ah exhaled, part sigh, part laugh. This building probably housed entire floors of men like him.
She tightened her grip on her tote and adjusted her posture. Today was about first impressions, about holding her own. A new job, a new city, a new chapter.
The elevator doors slid shut with a practiced hum.
Numbers ticked upward.
Game on.
—
The tenth floor of The Parc smelled like ink and fresh paper, and the sharp aroma of roasted coffee wafting from somewhere unseen. Compared to the polished elegance of the lobby below, this floor buzzed with more color and life, an intentional deviation from the building's otherwise minimalist ethos. Warm light spilled through oversized windows, catching on the brushed brass accents of the Artois office signage.
Song Min Ah stepped out of the elevator with a breath half-held in her chest.
Here we go.
The entrance to Artois Digital was flanked by floor-to-ceiling glass panels, frosted in an elegant gradient that faded into the company’s name, written in clean serif type. Through the clear parts of the glass, she could already see the pulse of the office—movement, chatter, someone rolling a chair from one side of a desk to another.
Min Ah pushed the door open and stepped in.
"Hi! You must be the new designer!"
A blur of shoulder length strawberry blonde hair and a forest green hoodie zipped into view. The girl looked young—Gen Z energy, maybe early twenties—with expressive eyes and a mouth already half-curved in a smile.
"I'm Kwon Eunji, copywriter-slash-multitasker-slash-HR’s worst nightmare. Come on, I’ll take you to meet the gang."
Min Ah blinked at the speed of her words, then laughed. "Min Ah. Song Min Ah. Nice to meet you."
Eunji turned on her heel. "Our team’s chaos incarnate but in a sexy, organized way. You'll fit right in."
They wove through rows of open desks—some decked out with colorful sticky notes and figurines, others clinically sparse. It was a visual buffet of creative personalities. At the far end of the room, a burst of loud laughter rang out, followed by a voice booming, "Yah, Dahyun! You owe me banana milk!"
Eunji rolled her eyes playfully. "And that would be Hoshi. Our team lead-slash-human golden retriever. You’ll know what I mean."
Min Ah followed her gaze. A man in a bright yellow button-down, sleeves rolled to his elbows, was animatedly waving a highlighter in the air like a mic. Blond hair (clearly bleached and unapologetic) flopped with every dramatic gesture. It's giving Naruto, Min Ah said to herself.
Next to him, a woman in cargos and a plain black hoodie—hood up—sat with arms crossed, smirking quietly. "That’s Dahyun—social media. Quiet but lethal. Don’t be fooled."
Eunji led Min Ah into the center of the group like she was introducing a new roommate to a shared house.
"Guys! Meet Min Ah, our new visual branding specialist. Former freelancer, first day, extremely well-dressed, definitely about to judge our typography."
Min Ah gave a polite bow, followed by a small smile. "Nice to meet you all. And only if your fonts are really bad."
Hoshi lit up. "Designer? And sarcastic? I’m sold. I’m Hoshi, captain of this sometimes-functional ship. Let me know if you need anything—printer jam therapy, coffee runs, someone to dramatically read your emails aloud."
"He’s not kidding," Dahyun murmured from behind her coffee cup.
"I also sing," Hoshi added, proudly. "Sometimes in tune."
Eunji leaned closer to Min Ah and whispered, "He was in a college dance crew. Thinks he’s still in it."
Min Ah grinned, warmth flooding her limbs. This was going to be manageable—fun, even. These people weren’t intimidating; they were ridiculous. In a good way.
Before anyone could launch into further chaos, a new voice cut through.
"Is this our new branding girl?"
A man with slightly mismatched round glasses and slicked-back hair appeared from the far side of the office. His blazer had elbow patches and his smile had agenda.
"Manager Kim," Eunji whispered. "Will try to marry you off in six months."
"Manager Kim," Min Ah greeted politely.
"Ah, such good posture! Already a professional. Welcome. Don’t let Hoshi distract you too much."
"Excuse me, I’m an excellent mentor," Hoshi protested.
"He once made a mood board using memes," Dahyun said.
"It worked."
Min Ah bit back a laugh. This was going to be an interesting ride.
—
Just as Min Ah was starting to settle into her desk—clicking through her work email and admiring how fast the office Wi-Fi was—a loud voice cut through the hum of the floor.
“Lunch o’clock, people!”
She looked up to see a tall man with a square jaw and a grin too wide to be professional leaning into their section from the finance department side.
“Dokyeom,” Hoshi groaned, already reaching for his wallet. “You can’t just yell that across departments.”
“I just did,” Dokyeom shot back proudly, pointing finger guns at him. “New girl! You coming too?”
Min Ah blinked. “Me?”
“Of course. It’s your first day. You haven’t experienced The Parc’s lower ground culinary heaven yet.”
“She hasn’t even seen the escalator,” Eunji added dramatically.
“Criminal,” said Dahyun, already standing up and tying her hoodie sleeves around her waist.
“Let’s go, then,” Hoshi grinned, tossing a look at Min Ah. “You hungry?”
“Starving,” she admitted, gathering her things.
And just like that, they headed out as a group, laughter trailing behind them as they made their way to the elevators, ready to introduce Min Ah to one of The Parc’s most iconic perks.
"I'll see you guys there then, gotta run for the best table with the best view!" Dokyeom's voice faded as he ran outside the elevator as it opened, followed by Eunji.
The lower ground food center of The Parc was a marvel in itself—an architectural oasis tucked beneath the towering structure. Unlike the sterile cafeterias of lesser office buildings, this one was a curated blend of modern design and lush landscaping. An open-air courtyard took center stage, ringed by a collection of boutique food tenants, each offering gourmet lunch options with menus that rotated weekly. There were glass canopies for shade, small fountains that murmured gently near seating clusters, and greenery carefully arranged to make you forget you were underground at all.
It was nearly noon when Min Ah followed Hoshi down the sleek escalator, her eyes wide with amazement.
“This place is insane,” she murmured.
“Right?” Hoshi grinned. “Even people from other buildings come here to eat. I heard someone saw a K-drama actor here last week.”
“Seriously?”
“Yeah. But I’m ninety percent sure it was just Dokyeom in sunglasses.”
As if summoned, Dokyeom waved them over from a shaded table he managed to get by running earlier, where the rest of the Artois marketing team was already gathered. Eunji was unwrapping her gimbap, Dahyun had two trays—one with salad, the other with fries—and Manager Kim was balancing a tray with three small dishes, two drinks, and a dessert cup that looked far too pretty for a man in mismatched glasses.
“Min Ah! We saved you a seat,” Manager Kim said cheerfully. “Behold, the heart of our kingdom.”
“It’s like a food court crossed with a botanical garden,” Min Ah said, settling into the chair beside Dahyun.
“Exactly,” Dahyun replied, offering her a fry. “We come here every day unless there’s a crisis upstairs. Or rain. Rain ruins the ambiance.”
Eunji leaned forward, lowering her voice conspiratorially. “So. First impressions?”
“Of the job?”
“No,” Eunji smirked. “Of the boys.”
Min Ah blinked. “What boys?”
“The Quantix boys,” Dokyeom chimed in, already halfway through his bulgogi bowl. “The finance guys upstairs. Floor 17. They’re like an urban legend.”
“They’re also absurdly good-looking,” Dahyun added, glancing at her salad like it had personally offended her.
“They’re not that hot,” Hoshi argued, though his voice lacked conviction.
“Sure,” said Eunji, grinning. “That’s why you turn into a statue every time they walk past.”
“I do not.”
“You do.”
Min Ah laughed. “Wait, who are they, exactly?”
“Well,” Manager Kim said, tapping his chopsticks thoughtfully, “There’s Mingyu, the tall one who smiles like he knows your secrets. Jeonghan, who somehow looks like he’s constantly judging you but politely. Wonwoo, the quiet gamer with glasses. Joshua, the polite one — though none of us actually know him personally. He just exudes politeness like a human greeting card.”
Min Ah blinked, processing every information.
“And then,” Dokyeom continued, “There’s Jun.”
Everyone fell quiet for a moment.
“Jun?” Min Ah asked.
“Tall, ridiculously handsome, kind of mysterious,” Dahyun explained.
“Also,” Manager Kim said, “he has the weirdest coffee order in the entire building. An iced Americano, three ice cubes, oat milk foam, cinnamon dusting, and no lid. Nobody even knows how that works, but the barista just does it now without blinking.”
“That sounds... oddly specific,” Min Ah said.
“We call it the Jun Special,” Eunji said.
"How do you guys even know?" Min Ah tilted her head, continuing.
"Hoshi right here might heard something from one of his friends all over this place," Dahyun shrugs, followed by Hoshi's grin, "I might," he added.
Just then, a noticeable shift passed through the courtyard. Heads subtly turned. The air seemed to tighten with attention.
Dokyeom’s eyes widened. “Speak of the devil.”
The Quantix team emerged from the far end of the food center like something out of a commercial. They’re in well-fitted button-down shirts in shades of cream, blue, and sage, sleeves rolled up with the kind of casual precision that could only come from routine. Slacks hung perfectly on their lean frames, and each stride exuded a kind of effortless cool. The sunlight caught in their hair at just the right angles as they moved together, easy and unbothered.
Mingyu was laughing at something Wonwoo had said, Jeonghan trailed behind looking vaguely amused, and Joshua nodded a polite greeting as their eyes swept across the courtyard. It was then that Min Ah blinked, recognizing Joshua’s face—he was the one who had helped her this morning. The polite stranger with the kind voice. She felt a ripple of something strange, almost like a glitch in her otherwise smooth first day.
But her gaze didn’t stop there.
Min Ah turned instinctively—and there he was.
Jun.
He wasn’t smiling, but his eyes scanned the courtyard with quiet awareness. The same calm, looked put-together under the sunlight, his navy jacket slung over one arm, revealing strong forearms and a rolled-up sleeve that had no right to look that good. She watched him a little too long, longer than she meant to, until Dahyun nudged her subtly under the table.
“Caught you,” she whispered with a grin.
“Who’s the one with the expensive-looking bones?” Min Ah asked casually, trying not to seem fazed.
“That’s Jun,” Dahyun replied. “And yes. He does look like he was designed in a lab.”
Eunji leaned in, voice low and excited. “There’s rumors about their team too. Like, real ones. You know the boss of Quantix? No one knows what he actually does.”
“You mean Seungcheol?” Hoshi asked.
“Yeah, him. I’ve never seen him, but I felt him once. Like his aura entered the elevator before he did.”
“He’s probably the CEO or something,” Manager Kim said, shrugging.
“Nah, he’s too buff for that. I think he’s secretly a bodyguard,” Dahyun said, munching a fry.
“And Jeonghan,” Dokyeom added. “Legend says he once submitted a formal WFH request for three months straight. Just because he didn’t want to come in.”
“That’s a myth,” Hoshi snorted.
“Is it, though?” Dokyeom grinned. “Is it?”
“Okay, fine,” Hoshi muttered. “They’re that hot.”
—
Just as the afternoon light slanted softly through the wide windows, Min Ah sat at her desk, still acclimating to the hum and rhythm of her new workplace. Her gaze lingered on the neat rows of colleagues across the room, the energy quietly building as the afternoon wore on. Though she was a fresh face in this vibrant office, she felt a curious pull towards the subtle social currents swirling just beneath the surface.
Hoshi leaned casually against the edge of her desk, the corners of his lips curving into a familiar, effortless smile that somehow managed to convey both mischief and warmth. Ever since she stepped into Artois, Hoshi had quietly harbored a crush on her—yet he played it cool, expertly balancing his natural charm with a casual distance that left Min Ah completely unaware. His bright eyes sparkled with teasing energy as he spoke, voice low but lively.
“So, Min Ah, what do you think of the place so far? The work, the people, the whole vibe?”
She returned his smile, warmth blooming in her chest despite the flutter of nerves. “It’s been... honestly, a lot to take in. But everyone’s been so welcoming. You all really make it feel like a team.”
Hoshi chuckled softly, crossing his arms but leaning in just enough to break the professional barrier. “We pride ourselves on that. Plus, we tend to keep things lively—no dull moments, I promise.”
Their banter was light, easy—just the kind of interaction that made Min Ah feel less like the outsider and more like someone who might belong here. As she settled further into her chair, she noticed how Hoshi’s eyes flicked to her with a rare, unguarded intensity before masking it again behind his trademark grin.
Meanwhile, the office buzzed with the usual chatter, punctuated by the sharp clicks of keyboards and the occasional ring of phones. Manager Kim was making his rounds, his mismatched glasses perched crookedly on his nose as he stopped by various desks to drop a joke or a quick update. Eunji, ever blunt and playful, was typing rapidly nearby, glancing up occasionally to exchange knowing looks with Dahyun, whose quiet humor always broke through in perfectly timed comments.
As the afternoon waned, Min Ah found herself drawn into the web of office life in ways she hadn’t expected. The complex blend of professional ambition, casual camaraderie, and undercurrents of attraction created a vibrant backdrop that promised both challenge and excitement in equal measure. And through it all, Hoshi remained a constant, a playful presence weaving in and out of her day with subtle, undeniable interest.
—
Min Ah unlocked the door to her apartment and stepped into the quiet. The soft click of her heels against the floor echoed faintly as she slipped them off and padded into the kitchen, the city lights outside painting pale stripes across her walls.
She poured herself a glass of water and leaned against the counter, exhaling slowly. Her first day at Artois had been a blur of names, faces, laughter, and more stories than she could process all at once. The team was loud, chaotic, and strangely comforting. It felt... promising.
She thought back to the courtyard. To the laughter. To that brief second when her eyes had caught his—no, when she looked at him a little too long. Jun.
She shook her head, smiling to herself as she padded toward her bed.
“Get a grip, Song Min Ah,” she whispered, pulling the covers up.
And with that, the city hummed on outside her window, and her first day in Seoul faded into dreams.

Hey just wondering, what are the weapons and semblances of Eren, Dawne, Cadmine, and Zhe?
Eren
Weapon(s) - Longbow, can use Dust to enhance arrows, Seax Style shortsword. Currently Unnamed.
Semblance - EndoThermic Dynamo: Absorbs thermal energy from her surroundings, rapidly lowering the surrounding temperature, and increasing her physical strength relative to the amount of heat absorbed.
Dawne
Weapon(s) - Longsword/DMR with selective fire, usually set to Fully automatic or burst. I am torn between its name being "Horizon Line" and "Salvador Morado"
Semblance - Ego Boost: The more attention and adoration he receives improves his Aura's durability and Combat prowess.
Cadmine:
Weapon(s) - a Scutum Shield and a Falx/pistol. The Falx/pistol is named "Actus" and the shield is "Neglectus."
Semblance - Warp: Not Warp as in teleport, but warp as in to Bend and Distort; Physics becomes unstable in Cadmine's wake. Gravity changes, temperature rises and falls randomly, etc. depending on how hard she uses her semblance. She has some control over what happens and how much it happens. But not a lot.
She's like a Wild Magic Barbarian.
Zhe
Weapon(s) - You know those Cannons the bad guy from Kung-fu Panda 2 Has? he has one of those but it's a Rocket Launcher/recoilless rifle platform. And he has a Meteor Hammer that he sometimes load into his RPG. Both are Unnamed.
Semblance - Embrittle: The target Suffers from severely weakened Aura and Physical resilience. like they have Osteoporosis and stuff.

Another redone/ updated sci fi spacesuit design of a design I drew around 2 years ago although this one is a more realistic take with mostly currently plausible technologies.
I haven’t named this one but it’s intended to be for use in very low gravity vacuum environments such as moons and asteroids, leading to features such as weighted crampons to shift the astronaut’s centre of gravity lower.
Concept-wise it’s largely based on NASA’s xEMU suit in general but with more aesthetic considerations put in while trying to keep some of the functional features where they are. Technically speaking Adam Savage did this in his spacesuit costume series but this is my take on this.
Tumblr media
More in-depth explanation below, note of warning it’s very long and technical as usual.
This spacesuit, as I said above is intended for use in low gravity vacuum. It is a rugged, highly resistant design meant for first human expeditions to new or previously less explored locations so accounts for unexpected conditions, although at the cost of being fairly more bulky.
First of all it is back entry, but unlike the Orlan suit the hatch/back panel doesn’t hinge, instead it entirely comes off when removed. The hatch panel includes the life support system and the helmet, although the helmet can be detached from it. The fact that such a large portion makes up the hatch makes the opening for entry larger and thus easier to get into. Lights are attached to either side of the head on the hatch panel. The life support part of the hatch has handles on the sides to assist with attaching and removal of the panel. The panel has a raised ridge/collar around the base of the helmet to protect the connector rings from impact.
The helmet has a gold coated sun visor that can be manually lowered, and the helmet visor itself is also openable. Comms are integrated into areas around the neck in the hatch panel, instead of being a separate headset which helps with reducing points of failure and also reduces strain on the neck.
The arms are mounted slightly forward to help allow more motions in front. Constant volume convolutes are used in the shoulders and elbows to allow motion. The wrists have a rotating connector ring. A wrist mirror on either side allows the astronaut to read labels on their own suit controls. The gloves have rubber fingertips and a fingernail-esque wedge attached to the tip for better grip of small objects. A seal located inside the arm of the suit allows the gloves to be separated into a their own pressure zone, and dials on the gloves allow this area to be put into a lower pressure for more hand flexibility (you don’t breathe with your hands so technically speaking you don’t need as much pressure there), although there is an automatic timer that will fully pressurise the gloves after a set amount of time to prevent swelling or bruising.
The torso segment of the suit is a hard shell, and because the entry point is not located here it allows for convolutes to be added for waist flexibility. The chest of the suit holds the control panel which can control temperature, lights, the crampons and other features. A sample collection case can be worn over the hip area, or it can also be used to attach a belt for tools. A tab on either side of the hip joint helps keep this in place. Tethers or safety lines can also be attached here.
The legs of the suits rotate at the hip and have knee convolutes. A guard over the knee allows astronauts to kneel and to prevent abrasion. A pair of dust covers over the calves of the suit help to keep dust off the boot connectors.
The boots have a pair of weighted crampons worn over them to help anchor astronauts to the surface in low gravity. The spikes are retractable to prevent damage to the spacecraft floor. The crampon also has a metal plate to protect the top of the foot. It isn’t visible here but the crampons attach with a similar sort of mechanism to snowboard bindings. The suit can also be used without the crampons like if it were to be used in higher gravity locations or in microgravity where they do not need to anchor themselves down.
Inside the suit, it has the typical internal components such as a drinking water supply, sweat wicking and cooling layers, and a liquid waste collection system.
The fact that this is somewhat based on an existing suit design means this explanation isn’t as egregiously long as I anticipated.
Also the OC wearing the suit here is Teira. Basically the astronaut OC I draw whenever I need an astronaut most of the time unless I have a specific reason to use someone else.
This is the older version of the design, not much has changed aside from the colour distribution (I got rid of the large areas of red), the crampon mounting is visible, the latching systems are more exposed (which is a bad idea they don’t look very stable), there is a comm headset, and the anatomy in the drawing is not as great as I thought it was at the time. SPACEMILK is the name of the short story I wrote where this suit was used since I don’t have a name for the suit. Suggestions are welcome.

Proba-3 will constantly measure Sun's energy output
Proba-3 is such an ambitious mission that it needs more than one single spacecraft to succeed. In order for Proba-3's Coronagraph spacecraft observe the sun's faint surrounding atmosphere, its disk-bearing Occulter spacecraft must block out the fiery solar disk. This means Proba-3's Occulter ends up facing the sun continuously, making it a valuable platform for science in its own right.
The sunward side of the Occulter therefore hosts a dedicated instrument that will maintain a continuous measurement of the sun's total energy output, known as the total solar irradiance, which is a essential variable for climate studies.
The shoebox-sized Davos Absolute Radiometer, DARA, has been supplied to the mission by the Physical Meteorological Observatory Davos, PMOD, in Switzerland.
"Researchers used to talk about the 'solar constant' but in fact it is always changing slightly," explains Wolfgang Finsterle, DARA Principal Investigator at PMOD. "And it's essential to keep track of the total solar irradiance, because it is the dominant energy input to the surface of the Earth.
"It amounts to something like 99.978% of the energy available on Earth, including the conserved solar energy stored in coal and oil. It drives all the dynamic processes of Earth's climate, so even the tiniest variations are hugely significant."
The mountain-based PMOD has been studying total solar irradiance for more than a century, initially with ground-based instruments and then from the 1970s deploying space-based radiometers to acquire a continuous dataset. The World Meteorological Organization has mandated PMOD as the World Radiation Centre to calibrate radiation measurements across global UN monitoring programs.
Wolfgang adds, "Total solar irradiance varies along with the 11-year cycle of solar activity, and one of the most obvious ways to look for long-term energy drift is to compare total solar irradiance between consecutive solar minimia.
"This requires a long time-series of data, ideally coming from multiple instruments because single radiometers will undergo degradation in sensitivity from the hard ultraviolet in the sun's rays they are continuously exposed to. That said any degradation is very gradual: the radiometer aboard the ESA-NASA SOHO solar observatory for instance, which was launched in back 1995, is still working satisfactorily."
DARA's basic operating principle is simple. The radiometer possesses a 5-mm diameter cavity made from black-painted silver, possessing low temperature emissivity. For 15 seconds at a time, sunlight warms the interior of the cavity, then a shutter blade automatically closes at its entrance.
For the next 15 seconds, electric heat maintains the cavity's previous temperature—and the energy needed to maintain this temperature is extrapolated to the unit of total solar irradiance, which is watts per meter squared.
This process continues for the entire lifetime of the instrument—the actuated shutter design employed in DARA has been tested for millions of openings and closings in PMOD's vacuum chamber.
"DARA is an improvement on previous radiometer designs with an optimized cavity design to minimize unwanted straylight and a multi-channel measuring system for self-calibration," adds Wolfgang. "This generation of instrument also possesses a fully digital control loop, allowing the possibility of experimenting with higher frequency observations.
Two versions of this radiometer design have already flown, notes Werner Schmutz of PMOD, who oversaw its development: "A compact version called CLARA flew on Noway's NorSat-1 CubeSat in 2017, remaining operational to this day, while a previous DARA is serving aboard the Chinese FY-3E weather satellite, launched in 2021. So we have high confidence in the design, which can operate whenever the Proba-3 Occulter is pointed at the sun within half a degree of accuracy."
The main difference between Proba-3's DARA and previous radiometers will be its very elongated orbit, which will carry it 60 000 km above Earth's surface. DARA can automatically adjust to slight changes in the size of the solar disk based on how far it is away—which are also due to Earth's yearly elliptical orbit around the sun. All the radiometer needs to know is its position in space and its data gathering compensates for the shift.

Tags: Jiyan/Mortefi, Jiyantefi, background OT3 - jiyaotefi, slice of life, winter fic, gift fic, Mortefi being Mortefi, Jiyan being a saint, background Yao mention
Word count: 874
Note: by me with original postings on AO3 - is a gift fic to lovely Jiyantefi writer whiffwhaff who everyone should check out
Tumblr media
It was snowing.
More heavily than expected, the flurries coming down in waves, coating the ground in a steady stream of white. Mortefi was huddled underneath the awning outside Huaxu Academy, wondering if he should just pull an all nighter instead. He was hardly dressed for this weather, the first snow of the season sneaking up unexpectedly.
From behind, he heard the automatic doors open then shut, the gentle clunk of boots halting next to him. “Would you look at that,” came the murmured wonderment. Jiyan leant forward, sticking his upper half out into the elements. As he looked up into the sky, eyes crinkling in childish delight, Mortefi couldn’t help the warmth that spread through him. He was captivated when Jiyan was like this. With a laugh the general stepped back under cover, angling his body so it tucked snugly against Mortefi’s side, flashing a wide grin. “I don’t remember Yao warning us of snow,” he whispered, conspicuously.
“Yao is always purposely obtuse. You should know this by now,” Mortefi huffed. His breath was already coming out in puffs of smoke, the dropping temperature making him feel more draconic then he already was. He got a deep chuckle in return, Jiyan huddling closer as he shook some snow from his hair, dusting both their shoulders with white.
“Well, it almost feels like it’s fate then.” With a wide gesture at the scenery, Jiyan turned his body fully toward Mortefi. At the researcher’s questioning stare, Jiyan couldn’t help but beam cheekily. “Look,” he muttered, his hand gesturing upward. Tilting his head back Mortefi cursed.
Above them was the bane of his existence. All through the winter season Xiangli Yao had snuck a plethora of the twigs around the Academy, claiming it was for morale as more and more Yule decorations went up. Mortefi knew though it was so Yao had an excuse to catch him unawares. To sneak in a kiss when he least expected it. The fusion user had tore down any near his office, refusing to give into Yao’s mistletoe mischief.
“I refuse,” he grunted, turning his face away. He could feel himself flushing as he stared resolutely into the distance. He vaguely clocked that the snow was slowing, coming down in a lazy curve instead of the waves from before.
Gentle hands slipped onto either side of his face, angling him back. “Mortefi,” Jiyan murmured softly, leaning closer. “It’s tradition.”
“Maybe in Jinzhou,” came the rebuttal.
“Did the aristocrats in the New Federation not keep up with traditions?” Mortefi knew Jiyan was teasing him. He knew very well what kind of nonsense the upper pantheon got up to around the holiday season. How much Mortefi despised the ridiculous outfits, long parties, and fake cheer.
“If you call hanging mistletoe in abundance to harass your coworkers as traditi-“ Warm lips sealed over his, stuttering his bluster to a stop. It was a quick press, filled with the assurance that it wouldn’t be denied. As Jiyan pulled back, eyes scrunched in satisfaction, Mortefi couldn’t help but retaliate.
“That was pathetic,” he tutted. “Do it properly or not at all.” Slipping his arms around his boyfriend’s waist, Mortefi pulled him flushed against his side. He sealed their mouths together again, covering Jiyan’s protest. It wasn’t the most elegant start to a kiss, his glasses skewing as their noses bumped uncomfortably. Mortefi reangled though after the first peck, Jiyan’s arms settling around his neck, body tipping more solidly into his hold.
It smoothed out in the end. Jiyan always inevitably took control, commanding Mortefi’s full attention onto the push and pull and bite as he deepened the kiss. It left them gasping once they separated, faces rosy from more than just the cold surroundings.
If Mortefi allowed himself to dwell on it, even he could admit kissing underneath some mistletoe while it snowed felt festive. He would never tell that Xiangli Yao though.
“You know Yao was setting them up to help Carter,” Jiyan muttered, tucking his face into the warm curve of Mortefi’s neck.
“And I’m just an unexpected casualty to our boyfriend’s antics,” he mocked in response. All he got was a soothing hum in return, a kiss left gently against his nape.
“I can’t tell you what goes on in Yao’s head. Other than the fact that he’ll keep teasing you as long as you keep reacting to him.”
“Ridiculous. The both of you.”
“Why are you lumping me in with him,” Jiyan guffawed.
“Because you never take my side.” Eyes glinting, Mortefi shoved the general back, getting another bark of laughter as Jiyan stumbled into the snow. “Let’s head back to yours,” he sniffed, angling away from reaching hands. “It’s closer. I don’t want to make the trek to mines in this weather.”
In the end Mortefi lost. With his hand entwined with another, cradled warm in his coat pocket, they ended up walking to the far reaches of the city where his residence resided. He couldn’t say no to gleaming golds, pleading to see the Yule decor the city put up for the season. Perhaps he could admit, just a little, that winter wasn’t too bad in the end, as long as he had his fellow dragon by his side.

Moon Dominance In Your Birth Chart
What is planetary dominance?
People often talk about their birth charts in reference to specific planets or zodiac signs that have more significance, weight and influence than others. This is usually referred to as a planetary “dominance.” But did you know there is also planetary prominence? Here are the key differences.
MOON PROMINENCE in a birth chart looks like:
🌜Moon conjunct the Ascendant
🌜 Moon conjunct the Midheaven
When a planet is prominent in a chart, that means it is in a specific place where it has high visibility. The points in any chart, regardless of it’s use, are the Ascendant and Midheaven. In contrast, the Descendant and Imum Coeli, are the ‘darkest’ or least visible areas of a chart. Prominent planets are not as strong as Dominant planets on their own, but there are many factors that can be present in a chart that break this rule.
MOON DOMINANCE in a birth chart looks like:
🌜 Moon in Cancer
🌜 3+ planets in Cancer
When a planet is dominant in a chart, this means it has a lot of power and influence within the chart. This can be indicated by a planet being in it’s own sign or having a large group of planets all in the same sign. When calculating dominance specifically, you can include your Ascendant and Part of Fortune as a “planet.” A Dominant planet can also be Prominent if it is placed on the Ascendant or Midheaven.
Do you have the Moon  in a prominent or dominant position in your sidereal birth chart? You might be someone who is nurturing, empathetic, and open minded towards having a lot of different experiences. Moon people are attuned to their environment, they live in the moment, and pay close attention to what is happening around them. They fully embody their feelings as they pass through and are not shy about expressing how they feel. This radical vulnerability and honesty lends to a certain kind of popularity and it’s not uncommon to find a Moon person setting the trends for everyone else. Not to mention their emotional intelligence and sensitivity puts other people at ease, which might result in Moon Dominant people lending a listening ear to the troubled at heart.
If you have a prominent or dominant Moon in your birth chart, then your survival strategy is to closely attune to your own body, your emotions and your environment; which includes the emotions and bodies of the people around you too. Moon people are the first to notice when others are getting tired, when they need a hug, or perhaps there is something deeper bothering their friend. Sometimes this sensitivity can also get them in trouble should they fall into the trap of trying to micromanage how other people feel and forget to consider how they feel too. It’s also important they learn to express how they’re feeling instead of just expecting others to automatically know, because not everyone is as skilled at reading body language or reading between the lines like they are.
People with a strong Moon in their chart need a strong home base that can serve as their temple of rest and relaxation. They do best when they have control over their sensory input, such as the temperature, fabrics, aromas and sounds in their home as they can easily get overwhelmed. They also need to learn how to develop strong boundaries on how much of themselves they are willing to share with others, as their compassionate nature can lead them to over-giving or trying to help someone that doesn’t want it. Moon Dominant people are at their best when they are surrounded by people who are attuned to their needs and feelings, and willing to reciprocate in rituals of mutual care.

Control valve supplier in Dubai
Tumblr media
UAE Valves is one of the top Control Valve Supplier in Dubai. A control valve is a mechanical device used in various industrial processes to regulate the flow of fluids, such as gas, steam, or liquid, through a pipeline or duct. It achieves this regulation by adjusting the size of the flow passage according to signals received from a controller.
Control valves are crucial components in systems requiring precise control of flow rate, pressure, temperature, or liquid level. They are widely used in industries such as oil and gas, chemical processing, power generation, and water treatment.
Working Principle:
The working principle of a control valve is straightforward. In an industrial setting, a control valve adjusts the size of an opening to control the flow of fluid through a pipeline. When the valve is fully open, it allows maximum flow, and when fully closed, it stops the flow completely. Between these extremes, the valve can be precisely adjusted to allow a specific amount of fluid to pass through.
This adjustment is typically performed automatically based on signals from a controller, which monitors conditions such as pressure, temperature, or flow rate. Essentially, a control valve acts like a gatekeeper, regulating the flow of fluid to meet the system's requirements.
Parts of a Control Valve:
Valve Body: The main structure that contains the fluid and through which the fluid flows.
Actuator: A device that moves or controls the valve's mechanism, often powered by air, electricity, or hydraulic fluid.
Closure Element: The component that makes contact with the seat to restrict or allow flow.
Trim: Internal components such as the plug, seat, and stem that modulate the flow.
Seat: A surface against which the closure element seals to stop flow.
Positioner: A device that adjusts the valve actuator's position based on control signals.
Bonnet: The top part of the valve body that houses the stem and provides a seal.
Yoke: A support structure that holds the actuator in place and connects it to the valve body.
Stem: A rod that connects the actuator to the closure element and transmits motion.
Packing: Material that provides a seal around the stem to prevent fluid leakage.
Advantages:
Precisely controls the amount of fluid passing through a system.
Maintains the desired pressure levels within the system.
Helps maintain a stable temperature by regulating fluid flow.
Reduces energy consumption by optimizing fluid flow.
Enhances system performance by maintaining consistent operating conditions.
Prevents system overpressure and potential hazards.
Easily adjustable for various operating conditions.
Allows for control from a distance and integration into automated systems.
Designed for durability and ease of maintenance.
Ensures consistent production quality by maintaining optimal conditions.
Meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Industries Using Control Valves:
Control valves are used across numerous industries, including nuclear power, oil and gas, power generation, manufacturing and process industries, automotive, aerospace, mining and minerals processing, water treatment and distribution, pulp and paper, refining, marine, renewable energy, chemical and petrochemical, and steel and metal processing. These valves play a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and compliance within these diverse sectors.

Incinerators in Kerala: Are They Safe for the Environment?
Tumblr media
As waste management becomes more challenging in both urban and rural areas, incinerators in Kerala have gained popularity as a quick and effective method of waste disposal. From hospitals and schools to apartment complexes and public facilities, incinerators are widely used to reduce solid and sanitary waste. But with this growing reliance comes an important question — are incinerators safe for the environment?
How Do Incinerators Work?
Incinerators burn waste at high temperatures, converting organic and non-recyclable materials into ash, flue gas, and heat. This process reduces the volume of waste significantly and is particularly useful for biomedical and sanitary waste that cannot be composted or recycled.
Environmental Concerns with Incineration
While incineration reduces the physical presence of waste, it can produce:
Toxic emissions if not properly filtered
Dioxins and furans — harmful pollutants associated with health risks
Air pollution and greenhouse gases
Ash disposal challenges that may affect soil and water
These concerns raise legitimate environmental questions about the long-term impact of uncontrolled or outdated incinerator technology.
How Kerala is Responding to These Challenges
Kerala’s government has introduced strict regulations for the installation and operation of incinerators, especially in hospitals, flats, and institutions. Modern incinerators in Kerala must now be:
Fully enclosed and equipped with advanced filtration systems
Approved by the Kerala State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB)
Designed to maintain temperatures that prevent the release of toxic substances
Periodically inspected and audited
In addition, awareness programs and environmental audits are encouraging institutions to adopt more eco-friendly and compliant systems.
The Rise of Green Incineration Technology
In response to growing environmental concerns, many manufacturers in Kerala are offering eco-friendly incinerators with:
Low emissions
Automatic temperature control
Dual-chamber combustion
Minimal residue output
Some models even include energy recovery systems that convert heat into usable energy, further reducing environmental impact.
Are There Alternatives?
Yes, alternatives like composting, biomethanation, and recycling are effective for organic and recyclable waste. However, for biomedical, sanitary, and hazardous waste, incineration remains a necessary method when done responsibly.
Conclusion
Incinerators in Kerala are here to stay — but their safety lies in the technology used and how responsibly they are operated. With stricter policies, better equipment, and increased environmental awareness, Kerala is moving towards a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable waste management future.
