See, if the pacing wasn't so insanely sped up, I may have more to say. Considering the source material Its clear they had to shove so much into every second they could. Like this is the first show I've had to pause every 10 seconds so I could digest what was happening. It was annoying. But besides that, if this was a full fleshed out series with seasons and such, I could potentially see it be the next big great series people adore and talk about. What realllly sold me was how interesting every character was. I mean EVERY character. Which I can't say often. The way David and Maine went out pissed me off, esp. considering they both had a chance to turn back and slow down before it was too late. I'm not a fan of irrational characters, but despite that, their deaths did move me, so kudos on the writers there. I think what reallllllly brought it all home was seeing how devastated Lucy looked when she finally reached the moon. Realizing her dream wasn't to go to the moon, but to go to the moon with David. How your dreams don't mean a thing when you don't have the people you care about around. How much TRAUMA these niggas had to go through, not to even survive, but to find some kind of meaning in all of it. This show is realllllllly fucking depressing when you peel back the layers. Just really wish they had more time with it. Overall I give this lil 5 hour sit down a solid ole [DECENT]

The assumption that all atheists are people who’ve “never touched a religious text in their life” basically says to me you have a specific view of atheists and have probably not known many.

Most of them grew up IN the system and DO know the text and THAT’S why they walk away. 

If you’re gonna make a whole post on ppl not using nuance with CR stuff right now the least you can do is use nuance yourself and not paint an entire group of people with a brush that TV taught you, or a bunch of white men into power *cough* Dawkins *cough* coopted a movement in a society where to not believe in god is synonymous with being immoral.

So just keep in mind, the representation of people without faith that you see on TV or twitter isn’t the majority and 9 times out of 10 isn’t correct at all.

If Kipperlilly DOES end up betraying Porter/Jace as part of a secret other scheme she has (whether good or evil) and it has to do with saving Lucy, I just know she’s going to be a bitch about it and pull a ‘sorry, I only save High Five Heroes’ before leaving her other friends to die or some shit. And then she will take her final form: Magic Betty from Adventure Time, betraying her allies and saving her frost gf at the expense of the world. It would also parallel what Ankarna is going through (‘your girlfriend’s out of town, it sucks’, becoming a little imperialist rage machine under the influence of Porter/Sunstone but not being able to fully turn on Lucy despite going against her values and turning into a violent weirdo). Aiolos was 14 when he was kill on the orders of his best friend.

Saga was 15 when he fucking assassinated the Pope Shion, tried to assassinate Athena and then to kill himself.

Kanon was 15 when his own brother locked him in a cave to die.

Shura was 10 when he was sent to kill Aiolos, one of his model.

Aiolia was 7 when his brother died and was declared a traitor.

The orphans were between 7 and 9 when they were sent around the world for training. Only 10 of them made it through the 6 years.

The Bronze and Saori were between 13 and 15 when they had to fight for their life and died for the first time. When they had to fight adults known for being almost invincible and kill them and been killed.

Saori was 13 when the weight of the world fell on her shoulders. When suddenly she had to fight for surviving but also to protecting her home, her friends and her whole world.

Seiya was 13 when he arrived in front of the Pope, after had to let his brothers behind and feel them dying for him to be here, knowing he is the last hope for Saori and he didn't have the time to mourn.

Ikki was 15 when he rushed the second half of the stairs, he passed in front of the corpses of his littles brothers who died hours before he was here. And no matter how much he felt like a failure and no matter how much he was angry against himself the only thing he can do was continued to run to help Seiya. Seiya who was the only one he can still help because he was the only one still alive and Ikki was so, so desperate to be here in time to not have a other dead body to watch.

No don't talk to me I'm not ok, I'm gonna cry. Why do my brain feed me with this, YEARS after I watched the last episode of Saint Seiya?
