Is there anyone here who runs The Sims 3 on a laptop and Windows 11 and an NVIDIA 3070 graphics card without graphics issues? I'm asking for this specific combination, because I have issues, and so did someone else with the same combination and I'm trying to figure out if this is a thing or we were both just unlucky and I could potentially just try the same laptop, just a new one and have it be done with.

Every so often I remember how I snagged a gtx1070 on sale for like $360 after taxes and shipping just a few weeks before the crypto boom price hikes, and then I start crying because I will never get a deal like that again.

The voices won and i got my hands on the Lies of P because I am obsessed with it and it was 40% off

The thing is, even if I have installed, i won't be able to play until at least around the start of the next month because I am more than sure my pc will explode without proper graphics card. But luckily I am saving some money to buy a new to play this game (yeah, I want a good graphics card to play a game that will absolutely destroy my ass and no, I've never played soul-like in my life)

And I am excited to get to have a little better graphics in ow and have more fps, cuz sometimes they were around 30 which is bearable but a little icky

Anyway, let's hope that I'll able to get the best one possible for my budget and that Lies of P won't take my sanity away with it's difficulty

Planning on building a mid range pc!!

Bought a 3060ti eagle oc on retail a few months ago...

(stress tested it at a friend's place and saw that it's emitting way too much heat than it's supposed to- whoops)

I'm giving it a good thorough cleaning and changing its dried up thermal paste and thermal pads before I start building the actual pc tower! (the fan cable was so difficult to unplug, I was really worried about breaking it aaaaa-)

Aaaand the end result! Hope it won't go over 92°C like last time! :')
