Hello! I love the Annette Marie's Guild Codex book series/world. I would love it if there was more fna work for it and more people got to enjoy the amazing fan content already made. So, in my free time, I will try to start posting some of the fan content I have read/loved. I will try to call out if there are any warnings, but feel free to message me if I forget something.

If anyone has favorites, cannon or fandom let me know if the asks or comments! Demonized and warped are my favorite, but spellbound is also ❤️, and really I just love them all.

Chocolate and confusion

He stood at the counter, staring down at the box of chocolates, the fluorescent lights casting harsh shadows over his face. After a long moment, he lifted a hand and touched the edge of the box.His tail slashed sideways—and he shoved the chocolates off the counter. They crashed to the floor, the small delicacies scattering over the linoleum.

I would love to read this scene from Zylas' POV!!

Zylas was scrutinizing me, his eyebrows low over critical red eyes.“Um.” I blinked. “Zylas?”He turned to the demon mage. “Nailēranis et nā. Eshaillā kir?” “Probably.” Jaw tightening, Zylas returned his stare to me, his expression intent as though he were rearranging his understanding of my incomprehensible human brain.

Was he comprehending why Robin is in danger of the other mages and what it meant when they said "you have the look"? Or was he wondering about her panicked reaction to his strength when he chose to "make her squirm"?

Reading Guild Codex: Warped series

And since Kit is such a movie buff and can make signs in front of people’s faces I’m surprised he doesn’t start whole monologue notes of this thoughts on interrogation pan up in front of people in Star Wars-esque manner.

Or just even sometime write out small notes on notepads going “hey shut up about that” or whatever he needs to say

Damned Souls and a Sangria by Annette Marie - blurrypetals review

I don't know why I never read this back in 2020. Sure, the audiobook wasn't out by the time I finished Lost Talismans and a Tequila in September, but I don't know why I didn't return when this was finally released on audiobook in November. I do remember losing some momentum with the series at the time, but having read this now, I'm disappointed in myself for waiting as long as I did, because I know I would have liked this so much better if I'd read it when the series was fresh in my memory.

That being said, I still did enjoy this a lot. I missed Annette's easy, fun banter and I ate it right up the same way I used to.

While I didn't remember hardly anything that was going on at first, I did still care about what was going on, about what would happen to these characters, particularly to Ezra and, by proxy, Eterran. It was also incredibly wonderful to see Robin and Zylas again! They're my favorites and always steal the show whenever they're on the page.

This was definitely a good conclusion to the Spellbound books and I'm looking forward to moving on to starting Warped and Unveiled!

it was just too perfect to pass up lmao. i used the classic tarot deck design, which is why the background is so minimalist...i saw the meaning of this card and immediately thought of zylas, since his opinions on dumb hh'uainun completely changes XD

Guild Codex Demonized: Robin & Zylas's Family (NOT CANON)

I did this about a year or 2 ago after reading the books when I had the thought of what it would be like if Robin and Zylas had kids. Obviously we don't know if that would even be possible for them, but it's still a fun little "what-if" to think about. I did this in Gacha Club instead of drawing the kids because I couldn't nail down at the time what I wanted their kids to look like, and this was a quick way to play with their designs without going through the trouble of drawing and coloring them when I still wasn't sure about how I wanted them to look. Overall, I'm still satisfied with these designs I made up for their kids, and I'm thinking I'll actually try to draw them some time soon. Also, yes, the girl is named after Robin's mom Sarah.

I actually wasn't sure if I was ever gonna post this, but @lolabearwrites made her own wonderful fanchild for Robin and Zylas and it made me remember my own fan children for this pairing and thought I'd share. Lola also wanted to see my fan kids when we talked about it the other day, so I hope you like my version of Robin and Zylas's family, Lola! I'll let you know if I draw them!
