She continues writing in her journal. She had never used it for actual journaling, but when she had gotten it as a gift from the family she was billeting with she decided she would make good use of it.

Humming a small tune that goes along with the scribbled words, she doesn't notice the tall presence behind her, looking down at her while she writes away. Eventually, the presence finally clears its throat, signaling his appearance.

"What're you writing there Sargeant?"

She doesn't look up. She would know that voice anywhere. "Just some random thoughts Captain Speirs." she replies.

He hums in reply and walks around from behind her to sit in the space next to her. They sit in silence for a while, until Speirs finally speaks up again.

"How long have you been singing for?"

She smiles and softly closes her journal, pocketing it in her jacket. "Since I was five, I think. I don't really have a clear memory of it but my family says I've been doing it forever."

Speirs glances at her, nodding. "I'm sure that's why Easy calls you their songbird then?"

Her smile widens, eyes crinkling at the corner. Speirs notices a dimple on the left side of her face. Mischeviously, she shoots back.

"Once we're off the line, I'll give you all a performance to remember"

Speirs looks down at her, Easy's woman medic who runs without fear onto the front lines and then becomes a timid thing when the bloodshed is finally done. Giving her a small smile of his own, he replies.

"I'll look forward to it then."

He isn’t the fondest of pets, so that’s why it depends on what pet you actually want to get

If it sheds, he’s out like immediately

If it’s high maintenance or is hyper like a dog, that is also a hard no

I think if anything he would want cat, just so that he has that calming buddy that sometimes rubs against his leg

But a cat has hair, so…

If you so desperately want a pet like a dog or something loud like a bird, then he will give you a sort of snarl in response

But…if you really, really, really want it,

You have to promise you have to take care of it

Because he is not going near that thing

Also please give him a cat because that’s all he can mentally handle

Then again cats also can be crazy so it depends 😉

Sebek:

Like Vil, he’s…hesitant

But definitely not as restricted

I think he could warm up to really any animal if he tried

He is going to scream if it makes any sort of mess though

And he’s going to scream loud

I think he would prefer a more hyper animal, well..

At first he would want you to choose a laid-back one

But I think he’s the kind of guy to aim for calm but deep inside he enjoys the more exciting part of things

And that doesn’t exclude pets

Whatever it is you want, he’s more than likely to agree to it

Silver:

Someone get this MAN A BIRD

Really, he’s up for anything

But he wants you to be aware that the more needy the animal is, the more he’s likely to fall asleep and unfortunately ignore its requests :(

Not that he can help it, poor guy

Animals have a way of gravitating towards him though, so he’s rather happy when you ask for a pet!

He probably won’t tell you, but he really wants a bird

He’s good with anything, but he just has a soft spot for them

Especially since he’s been around them literally his entire life

Silver is very easygoing for whatever you ask for, but there are downsides depending on what you choose

So something on the calmer side is very appreciated :D
