STOPPP this is so perfect for quinn. you know he loves you and although he isn’t scared to tell you, it’s more obvious in the things he does for you than the three words. he always keeps you close when you’re out with friends, his touch a reassurance that he’s there and cares about you. no matter how early the practice is or how late he gets back from a roadie, he always comes home with your favorite coffee or dessert which he hands over the same moment he kisses you hello. when he’s on the road, he makes sure to send flowers home for you. he also loves making sure you’re cozy at any opportunity at home. those actions say everything you ever need to know and quinn is wearing that shy but sweet smile every single time

stop this is everything nonnie!!! setting the scene: reader would have been captured by team black, (she’s important enough for them not to kill her) but she’s opposed to them enough that her freedoms are limited. enter jace, angry at the world and more importantly—her.

she, who cuts through every pretense he’s accustomed to like the steel of a sword. he’ll tell her to her face that he hates her, that she’s vile for aligning with the greens. a part of him truly does believe himself, but a greater part of him yearns for her. jace is a dragonrider so it’s not surprise if he’s drawn to her fiery nature…no matter how much he tries to convince himself that he’s not. he wants to be enveloped by her flames, to bleed out from the sharp words that fall from her tongue. he’d eventually convince himself that her willful mind will turn, that she might reposition all of her vitriol towards his enemies.

i don’t see jace trying to change who she is, just who obtains her disapproval. and all of this would eventually effect her, not change her. she thinks he looks no better than when his brows are drawn up, eyes narrowed, and distaste for her as evident as the first light of morn.

he feels and sees her unlike anyone else. he doesn’t hide from the fact she’s unnerving and that, above all else, intrigues her.

So I could be wrong, but I remember you saying that Bella joins taking care of Max and gets drunk. I’m wondering if it could have something to do with what’s going on in her story right now maybe she gets her first period after the miscarriage and it kind of gives her like a PTSD so she starts drinking to forget And that’s where it ends in my mind and hopefully you take over 🫶🏻🌌🦕

It will be dealing with the miscarriage, in the sense that it's the reason why Bell goes to Doveport, because Luke is suffocating her a bit and Max is essentially a "safe" stranger, but I was thinking of them drinking together just in general, not because of a specific catalyst like a period. Because I do think they'd be friends given the chance! And then, you know, drunkenly opening up to each other while Max holds her hair back on the bathroom floor 😉

He fully expected to see Vince there or maybe even Wendy, what he did not expect was to see a full head of curly auburn hair. Max blinked several times, frozen on the doorway of his tiny kitchen, trying to figure out if he was still dreaming or not.

Bella turned around, she was crouched down under his sink, searching the cabinet and her eyebrows jumped up, "oh hi!" her voice was a whole octave higher and softer than the last time they had seen each other, when Max had made a fool out of himself in the cabin, "you're up!"

"Hi..." Max frowned, not entirely convinced this was real, and jumped on one leg to the stool that separated the counter from the living room, "uh... What-"

"Vince had to go over to Portland today so he wouldn't be able to come after class," Bella answered, standing up straight and holding the sponge and dish soap, "Wendy's stuck in the hospital."

Max's cheeks burned at the implication he was some sort of toddler who needed constant supervision. He let out a scoff, "I appreciate their concern, but I'm an adult, you really don't-"

"I don't wanna stay home," Bella blurted out, shutting him up. Her cheeks turned pink and she looked away from him, turning her back around as she washed the few dishes inside his sink, "I'm on work leave and staying home is driving me crazy and I- You can barely walk around, I figured you'd be bored."

i’m gonna cry it’s raining right now and i just passed by a family where both parents were without an umbrella but their kid who couldn’t have been older than like 3-4 was proudly holding this GIANT umbrella whose diameter was as tall (if not taller) as the kid. both the parents were getting absolutely drenched but u could tell the kid was just so happy to have an “adult” task and carry the umbrella themselves and i think that sacrifice is what love is all about
