#20.10 Chat
It was almost midnight when Khun was finally able to lie down on his futon. Rak was already snoring, his limbs sprawled out and touching the floor. Ran was on the other side of the room, still playing with his game console. Khun paid him no mind, he was not in the place to lecture people about their sleeping habits when he went to bed just as late.
Instead, Khun called out his pocket, noticing there was a new message. His heart did a flip upon noticing that it was from Bam.
'Sorry for only replying now, I had a lot on my mind yesterday ;-; I went to Mr. Grace's place today, so I feel a lot better now.'
Khun mulled over the message for a while, debating what he should reply with. Though before he could even type a word, Bam sent him another text.
'It was fun :3 Hyung's teammates are very nice to me :D'
Khun smiled to himself and typed back, 'That's good.'
'Did you know that they have fishes? :O they're so cute!'
Khun imagined how Bam's eyes sparkled whenever he learned something new, and Khun's smile grew wider. 'I have seen his electric eel, though I didn't know he had more.'
"Creepy."
Khun turned his head around and his eyes met with Ran's. His previous smile instantly turned into a scowl.
"It's so weird to see you smile like that," Ran commented. "Who is that? Your crush or something?"
Khun clicked his tongue in annoyance, "None of your business."
Ran shrugged and pulled his blanket to cover himself more, seemingly done with his game and ready to sleep.
Khun checked his pocket again for new messages from Bam. 'Hyung said he will prepare a room at his place for me, so I can come by and stay anytime I want. Ah, and Mr. Agni said he will arrange a game with yours and his team, did you know?'
Khun raised his eyebrow. 'No.'
'Oh.'
And that was it from Bam. Khun tapped his fingers nervously, 'Will you be there?'
There was an icon that let him know that Bam was typing. But for a yes or no question, Bam sure took his time, and it made Khun nervous.
'I don't know.' Was what Bam sent, followed by 'But I want to, if I were given the chance. It'd be nice to be able to see everyone again.'
'One day, we'll get you out of there.' Khun promised.
'It's okay :) Hyung said that you guys will be safer with us staying under FUG. They can back us up if anything happens, since they have lots of assets.'
Khun pursed his lips. 'Are you sure? I thought you hated it there.'
'I just hate Mr Hansung. That guy is such a pain in the ass.'
Khun suppressed a snort. Where did Bam learn such a phrase? Though he had to agree that that coffee addict was really getting on his nerves.
'Ms Hwaryun is fine. I know she cares about me. It's just hard to read her. Master was a little distant, but he has been nice to me lately. Plus now that I can talk to you, and have Hyung with me, it's been more or less okay. I can live with it :)'
Still, I want us to be together again. Khun's fingers hovered over the text that he typed, but then decided to erase it. It felt so selfish and emotional, which he might regret in the morning if he were to send it. 'If you say so,' He sent instead, and yawned. 'I think we should sleep, it's getting late.'
'Alright. Good night, Mr Khun :3'
'I told you, just Khun is fine.'
'Good night, just Khun ;3'
'Very funny. Good Bam, Bam.'
'Haha XD.'

BESTIE I'M BACK WITH HANSUNG BRAINROT! Fem!Slayer reader who was mainly taught by him and ended up taking after him instead of poor Jinsung. Based on my old ask!
Some slayers do end up taking after their masters, like Viole and Karaka who takes after Jinsung, and you who takes after Hansung! Viole and Karaka are straightforward, while you grow up to be a manipulative, beautiful menace like Hansung. Which of course, frustrates the elders of FUG because you're not a powerful doll they can easily control.
Imagine Hansung getting defended by you, a student he raised <3 An elder you dislike insults Hansung because you, a slayer, got your insolence from him. Said elder got put in his place by you.
"Watch your words elder, you're talking to my master".
HANSUNG INTERNALLY CRYING TEARS OF JOY AAAAAAA
-tukangcilokberflower, there are problems with my account where I sent asks yet people do not receive them.
I honestly love you. I'm sorry I took so long to answer, there's just been a lot of personal things going on(my cat has a seizure for example) and I've just been trying to figure some things out. But! Onto the good stuff... Hansung would literally just be sitting in the back like a proud father, sipping on his coffee to hide the tears of joy he tries to leave unshed. I feel like he'd nod a long to everything you say, trying to sell your words as best he can from behind and get the other person to believe you. You two would be an unstoppable duo if you ever teamed up, I mean like good enough to take over the tower. He would probably offer some small praise after you're done and give you coffee. I love this man, I'd defend him like it's no one's business. He'd probably be a bit surprised at first(morally gray surprised Pikachu face) but in the end he'd just sip his coffee like he won the argument the moment you stepped in.

Lucky -- Hansung Ending

Warnings: None
Word Count: 2591
It has been a while since Hansung stepped in front of the blade for Sunwoo, and he’s still unconscious from the drug that was meant to kill him. His chest slowly rises and falls assuring me that he is still among the living. He has bandages on both of his hands that he was lucky didn’t get cut too deep, but will take some time to heal even with the stitches. Each time I change the bandages my heart cracks.
“Please, wake up,” I bring my knees up to my chest, ignoring the pain in my back as I sit on the floor.
After Hansung was treated by the closest doctor, I made the decision to have him transferred to my home. That way I can watch over him all the time, no boys would be bugging us all the time, and I wanted to get out of Hwarang house to distance myself. At this moment I don’t care about Hwarang. I don’t care about the fight for King. I don’t care about Master Wihwa losing his job as the leader of Hwarang. All I care about is Hansung.
“Hansungie, if you can hear me, please, I need you,” I wipe my cheeks of tears I have shed over the days.
The empty bowl that once held soup catches my eye. It was my idea to see if he could sip liquids, and his body reacts when I hold a spoon up to his lips. I am no doctor, but I can only hope that the amounts of soup I give him is keeping his strength up. That it will help him wake up sooner.
“I should get some rest,” I reach out to run my fingers lightly over Hansung’s arm. “You’ll be fine without me watching over you every second, and I know it.” I stretch out my legs, getting ready to stand up and take a nap to refresh.
Hansung groans, causing me to stop any movement.
“Hansungie,” I choke out, looking at Hansung on the makeshift cot that is in my room.
         “Ara,” he mumbles.
I scramble into the nearby stool for a better look at Hansung.
His face is scrunched up from the pain he is now feeling, but it is a nice change from the no emotion that has been on his face. In a strange way, he looks more alive now. “Ara?”
“Yes, I’m here, Hansung,” I reach out, placing my hands on his forearm. “Are you in pain?”
“Tiny,” he takes a deep breath.
“Well, you did grab a sword,” I sadly chuckle. “The scars will be badass, though.”
“Good,” he coughs, forcing his eyes to blink open. “Danse? Sunwoo?”
“Both fine. Both happy the poison was off for some reason.”
“Are you my nurse?” He tilts his head to look at me.
“Yes,” I tenderly smiles. “I’m your nurse. I’ve been waiting for this moment for so long.”
“Do you have water?” He groans as he uses anything but his hands to sit up, leaning back against the wall.
“I do,” I pick up the cup of water. “Small sips, okay?” I bring the cup up to his lips, tilting if just enough for him to get some sips.
“Thank you, honey,” he lazily smiles as I place the cup down by my feet. “I love you, too.”
My cheeks burst with heat as I giggle. “You remember?”
“I do. It’s the last thing I hear before passing out. I don’t regret what I did,” he reaches out for me, stopping once he sees the bandage wrapped around his hand. “Are they okay?”
“Your hands? Yes, they will heal. You just have to be careful and keep changing the bandages.”
“Are you okay?” He looks up at me, concern washing over his face.
“Tried, but other than that, I am happy that you are awake and talking with me now. You’re my reason to live.” I hurriedly wipe the single tear that falls.
“I meant it all when I said it that one day. I am going to marry you and I don’t care what the bone rank system says. You are my honey, and I love you so much.”
“I love you, Hansungie,” I lean forward, cupping his face in my hands, and smashing our lips together.
I have waited so long to truly kiss Hansung, and my mind is spinning as our lips mold together. There are butterflies going crazy in my stomach.
Hansung is the one who pulls away first. “As much as I love kissing you, this is not comfortable for me.”
“I can fix that,” I smirk, standing up to climb onto the cot. I swing a leg over Hansung to straddle his lap. “This should be a lot better.”
“This is perfect,” he grins, placing his wrists on my shoulders so his hands hang off. “I wish we hadn’t of waited so long.”
“I was so scared of dragging you down that I couldn’t do anything about my feelings for you. Even though I knew you liked me too, and made that promise at the beginning of our Hwarang journey. Then how you exclaimed that the bone rank meant nothing to you, and that kiss we shared when you ran away from Danse. Gah, I love you so much,” I rest my forehead on his. “I have loved you for so long.”
“I love you too, Ara,” Hansung tugs me forward to connect our lips.
I place my hands on his chest to stable myself.
It feels so right to be kissing him like this. To have no care or fear in the world because we love each other so much. Even if someone walked in on us right now, it would not mean the end of the world like before. This is right where we are meant to be.
Hansung pushes me back; both of us panting with blushes on our cheeks form our actions.
“Is something wrong?” I brush hair out of his face.
“Ara, if we keep doing this,” he takes a deep breath. “Even in my weakened state, I am going to want to take it a step farther. I will take you right here, and I won’t have any regrets,” he playfully smirks.
“Hansungie,” I squeal, leaning away as an embarrassed smile forms on my face. “I can’t believe you just said that.”
“It got the reactions I was hoping for,” he chuckles.
“I should go tell someone that you have woken up,” I sigh, smoothing my hands over my hair. “As much as I want to keep kissing you and keeping you for myself, there are so many other people that will be happy to know you are okay.”
“That’s probably a good idea.” He pulls his arms away from me; his fingers lightly grazing my cheeks as he does so. “I need to ask you a question, though.”
“And what’s that?” I grin, carefully climbing off Hansung, smoothing out my clothes as I stand.
“Will you marry me?” Hansung has the biggest boxy smile on his face. “Don’t worry about anything. I’ll handle my grandfather, who I hope got my letter.”
I tenderly smile, “Of course I’ll marry you, Hansung. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else, but you need to get better before we can do that.”
“As soon as I am better then,” he nods. “That is a promise.”
“Of course,” I lean down to press on more lingering kiss to his lips. “I promise.” Then I turn and walk to my bedroom door.
         “Honey,” Hansung calls to me.
“Yes?” I pull my hand away from the door.
         “I love you,” he coos.
“I love you too,” I glance back at him with a smile as my heart flutters. “I will always love you.”
“Don’t be too long, okay? I’m not done giving you kisses.”
********
“I have a very good feeling that you are a girl,” I coo, rubbing my pregnant belly. “I’ll teach you how to go on adventures, and about my Hwarang times, and all your uncles will love and dote over you just like your brother. You will be such a blessing for this world, and I can’t wait to see your eyes.”
It’s been just over four years since Hansung save Sunwoo’s life and awoke from his poison sleep, and I take every day as a gift. He could have been taken from me that day, but my luck actually worked.
Anyways, once Hansung’s hands healed enough for him to do most things without my help, we were married. His grandfather only protested a little at the beginning, but only because he wanted to make sure Hansung was truly happy. Hansung then found us a decent sized house where he fulfilled another one of his promises with one room being turned into a library.
Then, not even a year into our marriage, I became pregnant with our first child, a boy, named Sunwoo in honor of the boy who Hansung was (and still is) a big part of Hansung’s life. All our Hwarang friends come over whenever they can to see our little family, even Jidwi who is now King. Baby Sunwoo loves the attention, and I love how alive our house becomes with all the people.
Now with little Sunwoo almost three, and our next one almost here, Hansung and I have a good rhythm. He’s now part of the new Royal Council that the King put in place once he settled into the throne, and I help Ahro with her doctor work. Though both of us have had trouble doing our jobs with babies on the way.
“I just want you to come into the world already,” I groan as I stand up out of the chair I have in my library. “I want to hold my baby girl.”
“Honey! Honey!” Hansung’s voice fills my ears.
I giggle as I wait for him to burst through the door. “He still has so much energy.”
In the next few moments, Hansung skips into the room with little Sunwoo on his back. The two have boxy smiles on their faces.
“How are my two favorite boys doing?” I giggle, waling over to press kisses to their cheeks.
“Mommy,” Sunwoo says in his cute soft voice. “Guess what daddy and I did.”
“Hm, I don’t know,” I tap my cheek as I look at Hansung. “You two get up to some crazy things.”
Hansung embarrassingly grins as a slight redness appears on his cheeks.
“We went to see Danse at the Hwarang house, and he showed me how to play with the wooden swords,” Sunwoo pats Hansung’s shoulders like drums. “But I just wanted to feed the horses.”
“I always loved the horses,” I ruffle Sunwoo’s hair. “Fighting wasn’t for you?”
“No,” he puffs out his cheeks, shaking his head. “It was hard, and not fun at all.”
“Your father felt the same way.”
“I never wanted to hurt others,” Hansung shrugs. “I was also not good at fighting, so I was bound to hate it.”
“You were good at it, right mommy?” Sunwoo reaches for me.
I grin, placing my hands on my hips. “I’m still good at it when I’m not carrying your little sister.”
“Oh, so you know it’s a girl,” Hansung smirks, rubbing a hand over my belly. “Ahro can test for that now?”
“I just have a really good feeling.” I step around Hansung to grab Sunwoo and place the small boy on my hip. “Do you want a little sister Sunwoo?”
“It doesn’t matter to me, I just want a sibling,” he giggles.
“That’s why you are the sweetest,” I press multiple kisses to his cheek.
“Mommy,” he giggles, wiggling in my hold. “You are so silly.”
“All because I love you,” I poke his stomach a few times.
“I love you too, mommy,” he presses a kiss to my nose. “You can set me down if it’s too much,” he rubs my belly with his little hand.
“You’re getting so big,” I lean down to place him on the ground.
“I’m gonna go play!” He rushes out of the room before Hansung or I can stop him.
I chuckle, “All the energy, just like his father.”
“And he knows when I want to be alone with you,” Hansung smirks, grabbing my hips to pull me close. “I love you too, honey.”
“Aw, felt left out, did you, Hansungie?” I giggle, bringing a hand up to cup one side of his face. “I love you, and that will never change.”
He presses a quick kiss to my lips. “I hope it’s a girl, and I hope she is just like you. Sunwoo takes a lot after me, but she will be just like you. I know it.”
“I hope she isn’t our last,” I grin, placing my arms around his neck. “Two more will make me very happy.”
“I’ll do anything to make you happy,” he runs his hands up and down my sides.
“That’s why you are my reason to keep going. You always think of me, and I couldn’t have asked for a better best friend and husband.”
“You are too cute, honey,” he places a kiss to my nose. “I am just doing what I know is good and right. You deserve so much, and I am doing my best to give it to you.”
“You being here is enough for me,” I tenderly smile. “All those years ago, when I watch you jump in front of that sword for Sunwoo, I thought I had lost you forever. Just being able to hold you, kiss you, talk to you is a blessing. To have kids with you is something I never thought would happen. Life is so amazing, and you don’t need to do anything special for me.”
“But you are so special,” Hansung breaths out. “I stayed in Hwarang because of you, and I got the courage to stand up to my grandfather because, and for, you. Without you, I wouldn’t be here, and you know that. I wouldn’t have the perfect family with the best house. I wouldn’t be so damn happy.”
I open my mouth to respond, but a sharp pain shoots through my abdomen as my baby kicks hard, causing me to rest my head on Hansung’s shoulder as I groan.
“Ara, are you okay?” Hansung panics. “Is she coming? Do I need to go get a doctor? Will Ahro deliver like last time? What do I need to do?”
I lift my head off his shoulder as the pain passes. “Nothing is happening,” I chuckle. “All you need to do is clam down and kiss me.
He relaxes in mere seconds once he knows I’m fine. “Anything for you, honey,” he grins before placing his lips on mine, making me feel like our first kiss.
All my life I have been taunted because of who I am, and I have had to push to prove myself to almost everyone I come into contact with. I was called lucky for reasons I could not control. However, I have never had to prove myself to Hansung, and the word lucky has never been directed at me in a negative way when coming from his mouth. He loves me for all that I am, for all my flaws, and I will always have him to give me reasons to keep going. I’ll never love someone as much as I do Hansung. And I guess I can say that I got a little lucky with him.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
This makes my heart so happy. Hansung and Ara deserve to be happy, and I just love the fluff. If you would like to see Hansung and Ara do something, feel free to request! I would be happy to continue to write for these characters that I love so much. Thanks for reading! :D

Our stars
Tumblr media
You were allowed in the Hwarang house, since you were skilled in fighting. Swords, arrows, hand to hand and many more.
They asked you to come and assist in the training, or just help out in anyway you can. Helping them with writing, reading was all in the cards.
You were sitting outside near the pond, looking at the stars as a bright smile was brought to your lips.
Hansung: It's beautiful tonight...isnt it? A man asked, as he sat down next to you.
Y/n: They are. You replied, looking at the young man that sat next to you.
Hansung: My name is Hansung. What's yours? He asked, with a wide smile.
Y/n: Y/n. You said, as looked at his features.
He was very handsome, but he didn't give off the same as the rest. He was different, you could see it in his eyes that were a dark brown almost black. His smile was filled with joy, and that made you smile and his facial features almost resembled that of a baby.
Hansung: It's rude to stare. He spoke, causing you to come back to reality.
Y/n: Oh...um...i...forgive me.
Hansung: There's nothing to forgive. What do you like about the stars? He asked, as he kicked his feet forward and back. Mine is how they shine, and how they resemble diamonds.
Y/n: I like how they represent life.
Hansung: Life? How so?
Y/n: Well, life represents love, pain, joy and so many things. But to me, the stars mostly represent love. Every night when I look at the stars, i feel that the man I will call my husband someday is staring at them too. Wondering if he'll see me soon. D...does that sound stupid? You asked, feeling slightly dumb.
Hansung: Not at all. I think it's cute. He said, as he giggled. I like you.
Y/n: You like me? How? You just met me.
Hansung: Because you like the stars. I know, meeting someone for the first time you know nothing. But I feel like I can trust you...you seem like a good person.
Smiling you thanked him, as you got up bowed and walked off to your room.
Few days later.
You and Hansung became close friends, training together, eating with him and his friends and just looking at the stars. It felt like you've known him for years, and his friends. You felt like you were part of them, even if you were just there with your father to train them.
Your father was the best warrior/soldier the kingdom had, your mother was a noble woman of true bone as was your father. Your brother was the personal gaurd of Princess Sookmyung, two of your sisters were with the princess and two were at the tea restaurant that your mother owned along with your little brother.
All together being 6 siblings you had. You were the only daughter that wanted to learn to fight,
You were at the river with the Hwarang men, watching them clean their clothes and splash each other wet with the water. Shaking your head, you walked on the rocks barefoot enjoying the cold feel it gave you when you slipped on a wet rock.
Preparing to fall, you closed your eyes but nothing happened. As you opened them again, you saw a familiar face keeping you from falling.
Y/n: T...thank you Ji Dwi. You said, as slowly released your arm.
Ji Dwi: Are you hurt?
Y/n: No. I'm okay. You replied, as you gave him a small smile. I...thank you.
Ji Dwi: I'm just glad your okay. He said, as he placed his hands on your shoulder.
Looking across from you both was Hansung. He pouted, feeling sad as he looked away. Walking to the room where A-ro works, walking as he flopped down on the bed.
A-ro: Ahh, what's wrong today?
Hansung: It hurts. He wimbered, as he cried into the bed.
A-ro: What hurts? A-ro asked, as she sat next to him.
Hansung: My heart. He replied, crying even more.
A-ro: Your heart? Why does your heart hurt?
Hansung sat up, wiping his tears away as he was trying to catch his breath. Slowing his breathing, he looked at A-ro as he spoke.
Hansung: Y/n.
A-ro: Y/n? Hey, what did she do? Did she hurt your feelings?
Hansung: I saw her with Ji Dwi. He...they...AHHH! He cried, as he sunked his head into the pillow again.
A-ro bit her lip, as she sat on the bed next to him as she rubbed his back. In a second he laid his head on her legs, crying as she soothed and comforted him.
After a while Sun Woo, walked in about to say something when A-ro shushed him in silent. He looked down to see Hansung sleeping soundly, shaking his head as he smiled he picked Hansung up as if he didn't weigh anything.
A-ro fixed the bed, so that Hansung could place him down so that he could get rest.
Sun Woo: What happened here?
A-ro: He was crying over y/n.
Sun Woo: What? Why would he cry over her?
A-ro: He saw Ji Dwi, with his hands on her shoulders. Since then he cried, that's all I know. Promise.
Sun Woo: Sounds like Hansung likes y/n. You should go home for lunch with your father, I'll look after Hansung.
Time skip (a few minutes)
Sun Woo: Y/n, can you please come with me to the phesisians room? It's Hansung.
Y/n: Hansung? Is he okay? You asked, worry in your voice.
Sun Woo: Just go. I'll come later.
Running to the room, you saw Hansung waking up from his sleep as you ran to him.
Y/n: Hansung? Are you okay? You asked, as you bend down in front of him taking his face in your hands.
Hansung: Y/n?
Y/n: Hansung, are you hurt? What happened? Where did you get h--mmm
You mumbled as you were stopped by a strong but firm kiss. Your eyes were wide, as shock took over your body. Pulling away Hansung, looked into your eyes as he spoke.
Hansung: You hurt my heart. You broke it in pieces. He said, as he let you go.
Y/n: W...what? You questioned, as you looked at him.
Hansung: Ji Dwi. I saw you with him, y...you with him. His hands were on your shoulders, like he's your lover...how c-
Y/n: His not my lover Hansung. He's my friend, whom I care for greatly just like Ban Ryu, Sun Woo, Yeol Wool and Soo Ho. I-
Hansung: I like you. I like you, like I like the sun and the stars. That's...thats what I want. I want to watch the stars with you every night, and the sun in the day. I like you more than being with my family, except for my brother. I...i like you more than I should, I think I love you. No...i know I love you. He said, wiping his eyes as he looked at you.
Y/n: Hansung.
Hansung: I know, you don't f-
You cut him off as you grabbed his face gently in your hands, as you pulled him closer into you as you kissed him.
Tumblr media
Hansung didn't hesitate in kissing you instantly, his hands moved to your cheeks as your moved to his waist.
Hansung pulled you closer, as he smiled in the kiss which caused you to pull away.
Y/n: See. I like you too-
Hansung: Y/n-
Y/n: No...i love you.
Hansung: You do?
Y/n: Yes. I've been wanting to tell you for a while, but I didn't have the courage to say anything. Could you forgive me?
Hansung: Only if you forgive me for not saying anything either.
Y/n: We'll forgive each other. You said, as you leaned in kissing his cheek. My Hwarang hero.

Okay so I wasn't supposed to post because of laziness and all but I got the urge to draw Evankhell and Hansung Yu together so here they are on a Christmas date
The coloring is terrible because I tried a new way to color, because I suck at it and because I started this drawing at 3 am and it's currently 6 am so I guess I'll die ✌️😔
Tumblr media
Anyway this is a power couple and their dream date would be to overthrow the government "because it would be cool"

“Prince Ji-Dwi, please, can we at least discuss the complications of this?” You follow behind the man in dark purple hwarang uniform, your arms grow heavy as you drag the pink and blue cloth of your hanbok.
The two of you had crossed through the castle courtyard, the red, wooden, pillars holding up the dusty brown tile roofs above. In the middle of the dark red bridge stretching across the diameter of the castle pond your husband turns around to finally face you. His eyes look at you with fire, his lips straight, and expression completely and utterly emotionless as he spoke. “What is there to discuss Lady Y/N?”
“You’re beautiful, level-headed, everything that it takes to become a powerful queen for this country.” His face moves towards yours, the heat of his words could be felt against your skin. “God, you’re basically perfection yet your ties to a minister of Silla, specifically, that of the opposition, is enough to drag you and your title through the dirt.”
“I only want to give you a chance to become more than what they could provide for you, I want to be the one who protects you.” Cautiously, he takes his hands that were against his sides, adjusting his uniform to bring his hands up to lightly cups your cheeks. With lips jutted forward, he pulls you forward, to leave a kiss upon your forehead. Cocking your head to the side, you avoid his soft hands and loving gaze. His head shakes in disbelief, his hands up in defeat as he looks around in frustration, he then continues to speak as his finger points towards you.
“Things will be easier for both of us Lady Y/N if you forget Hansung and his clan, and learn your place within this engagement.” He spits his last few words out like venom before his shoulder meets your frame pushing you off balance, before making his way towards his living quarters. At times of heartache and exhaustion, you tried to find comfort in the fact you knew Hansung was safe from the wrath of Sillas future king.
Your friendship with the youngest clan member of the Wolseong clan had blossomed when the skies filled with the constellations of your birthday. The clan had been the beacon of light that showed you the world after your mother and father died, your mother due to the complications of your birth, and your father during the battle he faced the same day. It was through Hansungs grandfather you were able to survived your younger years and taught the ways of court in your teenage years to become the hope for control of from the Kingdom of Silla’s opposition.
You drop to the ground, trying your best to curl your legs as you admire the pond from the sides of the bridge. The dark blue depths of the castle's pond was a contrast against the light soft glow of the moonlight. Glancing at the rough reflection of your face across the gentle ripples of the water made you sigh in defeat. It had been a while since you had last seen your complexion. Your rounded, coloured, happy face was now replaced by the thin pale mask before you. Your locks of raven hair had been overshadowed by the bright reds and yellows of the various pins that held your bun together. The muted, dark circle upon the underside of your eye was evidence for the sleepless nights in preparation for your wedding. The flash of a face beside yours immediately broke from your inner thoughts. Turning to him, you immediately engulf him into a hug. Hansung pulls you tightly to his chest.
Reality begins to fill your mind and senses as your arms finally release their grip around his middle. “Hansung.” Your eyes beg him for an explanation for his sudden and illegal visit.
His gaze locks on yours, “Ji Dwi has no place telling you who you can and can not keep in your life.” Taking your hands into his, his thumb tries to sooth you.
“You shouldn’t be here.”
“And you shouldn’t be forced to be engaged to someone you do not even love.”
You look at him, wondering what happened to the young, clumsy boy, that you had fallen in love with all those years ago. He had since grown, finally defying against his grandfathers' wishes and further getting himself involved with other peoples issues to fix the issues of the people he cares the most about. The two of you take in a moment to register his words, your hands clasped together tightly, a way to reassure you of your choices.
“If I refused to marry the king, who would even want me to be engaged to then?”
“Me.” Wide-eyed, you take in the sincereness painted onto his entire face.
“Are you insane?” Shushing him, you placed your hands to cover his mouth and turn around to hear where the possible noise could’ve come from. cover his mouth.
His eyes had a sense of shimmer to them as he begged, “Come with me Y/N.”
You take in the words from his mouth. Your best friend wants to run away with you and to get married, you dream since childhood finally coming true. You close your eyes and wince, as you stop yourself from living your fantasy, realizing how damaging this could be for him and his family. “Prince Ji Dwi is going to find you and hang you for high treason.”
He pulls your hand moving you towards him, your faces centimetres apart, before he continues. “We can run away, run to the furthermost village out of Silla that money can get us, change our names, and our life for the better.” The sound of guards, nearby could be heard, you quickly walk your way together towards the nearest wall before Hansung climbs back over the route he came from.
“My friends are waiting for me Y/N, so I must take my leave. Please, meet me in three days time, early morning, just before sunrise. I’ll be on the other side of this wall waiting.” With that, he carefully climbs the sides of the pillers before you see him jump off the side of the wall. You quickly jog your way up to your room on the second floor, greeted by him comfortable sitting top of his horse with a boxy smile upon his face. Taking in the view below you, you are greeted by the rest of his friends atop of their horses before the sound of galloping filled the air. Just like many days before, you were now left with the company of the sky, the moon and stars.

save me | chapter 4.
Tumblr media
pairing: suk hansung x reader ; kim taehyung x reader (platonic) fandom: hwarang ; bts warnings: non idol!au ; alternate reality!au ; mentions of death ; language genre: angst ; fluff ; possible smut previous: please check out my kim taehyung masterlist for previous parts (thanks tumblr :’))
summary: taehyung has been your best friend for so long, almost as long as he has been sick. but now it was getting worse and for some reason, the only person that has any idea as to why that is, is a lunatic that tells you it’s because taehyung is connected to someone from another universe. and then you suddenly find yourself on a quest in an alternate reality, trying to prevent the death of a boy named hansung, so that your best friend could live. however, developing feelings for the hwarang member hadn’t exactly been the plan..
a/n: IT’S BACK PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!! I hope you like the part ♥ (masterlist is in my description box)
Tumblr media
“What?” you had asked, tilting your head back so that you could look into his tired eyes.
“You shouldn't be here with me like this.. you should be in the arms of someone that can give you more than me.”
With a heavy sigh, you pushed yourself up on your elbow and let your fingertips run over Taehyung's pale cheek, “You're the only one that I need.”
“In another world, (Y/N).. but not in this one,” he had said with a sad smile.
Who would have thought that his words were foreshadowing so much..
The first thing you saw when you opened your eyes was his face, but not really his face. His hair was longer, his skin tanner, his lips and cheeks rosy.
Hansung.
It was Hansung, who had his arm wrapped tightly around you, his body pressed so close against yours that you had trouble breathing, but not wanting him to losen his grip either. It was Hansung, who was mere centimeters away from your own face and whose warm breath you could feel on your face.
You hesitated at first, not wanting to do anything to wake him up, too afraid that reality would hit him and that he'd run away from you like he should do, but eventually, after staring at him for good five minutes, you couldn’t help yourself anymore and you raised your hand to touch his cheek just like you had touched Taehyung's cheek once.. like he was about to slip away from you.
“I need him. I.. I need you,” you whispered, your fingertips running down to his lips, letting them brush over them as gently as you could. And the second you did, his eyelids fluttered open.
You immediately held your breath, blinking over and over again, scared that he'd scream, run, punch you in the face.
That's what he should have done. After all, you were.. kind of weird, you had to admit that. Not only did you treat him like you knew him and he on the other hand had no idea who you were, but you snuck into his bed last night and apparently spent the entire night there, without you even remembering doing so, that’s how drunk you had been.
And for some weird reason that you couldn’t explain to yourself, he hadn’t thrown you out.
“Who are you?” his voice came out as a whisper, nobody except for you who was right in front of him, could hear it.
He shouldn’t be liking this so much when he barely knew anything about you. He shouldn’t leave his arm around you like that and he should definitely slide back and put some distance between you.
He should not look down to your lips and wonder what it would be like to kiss them. He should not get lost in your eyes and wonder what secrets they truly held.
“Would you believe me if I said I'm here to help you?” you wanted to pull your hand back, but Hansung was quicker and wrapped his hand around your wrist, keeping it close to his face.
He wasn’t afraid of you. He was mostly just confused. Your sudden arrival here, the way you behaved around him and more importantly, the way he felt about you. That’s what confused him the most.
Why did his heart beat so fast when lying next to a person he didn’t know? Was he going crazy?
“You act like you know me and I feel like I know you too, yet I'm sure that you and I have never met..”
It was so complicated and yet so easy.
Telling him the truth, warning him and making sure that he would stay out of trouble.. but would that really be enough?
You felt like it wouldn't be. You felt like whatever you'd say or do to warn him, you'd have to protect him yourself, just like you always had to protect Taehyung as well.
And that’s why the lunatic sent you here after all, right? To protect Hansung, not just to warn him, otherwise this would have been way too easy.
However, before you could say anything, the truth or not, the door got slid open and in came..-
“No, no, no, no, what are you doing?!” Ahro hiked up her skirts and pretty much ran through the room, past the first men waking up that Hansung was sharing the room with, trying to get you to stand up as quickly as possible, “If someone see's you like this, they'll kill you! And you too!” she scolded Hansung.
His eyes widened in fear.
Yet it wasn’t fear for his safety.
“It's your fault! You got me drunk last night,” you hissed, straightening out the Hanbok you were wearing.
“YOU ran away!” she hissed back, turning around to the other men and bowing deeply, “Forgive us for coming in here. Please don’t tell nyone.”
And then she grabbed your hand and pulled you out, Hansung staring after you a little bashfully, especially when the rest of the guys started whistling.. as if something had happened.
“I can't hold my liquor, Ahro. I don't even remember going to him last night!” you tried to explain.
“Well, maybe you should have told me that before I took you out to drink, don't you think?!”
And just as you were going around a corner, both you and her ran into a face that she had told you not to look at.
Ever.
“My queen,” Ahro was used to this. She knew the procedure. What to say and do around her. She bowed as deeply as she could, then said: “Forgive us, we didn't see you.”
You? You didn't do any of that, you just narrowed your eyes at her and looked her up and down like you were scrutinizing her.
Which, by the way, is a terrible idea if you don’t want to be killed.
But then again, there weren’t really and kings and queens that you could casually run into back home.. except for Jay Park. And that only happened once and you had been too busy gawking at him to really talk to him.
“You must be the new physician,” the queen smiled, but it was ice cold. You could tell that she was already hating you, probably already plotting your death, “I've heard a lot of things about you.. your reputation proceeds you.”
“My reputation?”
“Rude,” she said, but still with a smile on her face like she hadn’t just insulted you.
“Oh, I get that a lot,” you laughed, not even in the slightest intimidated by her, but that was a grave mistake you would soon come to realize, “I'm just not used to.. kings and queens.”
“You don't have any where you're from?”
“Oh, no, we have.. democracy.”
Funny how she and her advisers all gasped like democracy was a curse word. That said a lot about this time period.
“How.. ugly.”
“My queen, please forgive us, we didn't mean to disturb you,” Ahro interrupted before this could escalate.
She only waited for the queen to nod and give her consent for you two to leave, before Ahro grabbed your wrist and pulled you away again.
“I want you to keep an eye on her,” the queen said to one of her advisers, her eyes still lingering on your back, “And if she tries anything.. kill her.”
Tumblr media
“Why are you all looking at me like that?” Hansung had a hard time keeping eye contact with the remaining Hwarang members, all of them smirking at him like he had done something forbidden last night.. like it had done something naughty.
“So.. how is she in bed?” Sooho asked without shame, Banryu immediately hitting his arm, “What? It's what we all want to know, don't pretend like it isn't!”
“Nothing happened,” he quickly defended himself, shaking his head, “I don't know, she must have thought my bed was hers and.. well she fell asleep right afterwards!”
A unified choir of 'Aw's' echoed through the room, as if all of them had been hoping for some juicy details.
It was clear that these men were deprived in this camp.
“Don't you think her behavior is odd?” Jidwi said, rubbing his hand over his jaw, “It's like she's obsessed with Hansung, when it’s usually Banryu or Sooho the girls are interested in.”
They were two of the ‘gang leaders’, the popular kids, while Hansung was just someone that ran with them. It was usually him chasing girls not girls chasing him..
“Someone is obsessed with my brother?” Danse suddenly stood behind the group of men, looking at his younger brother with a surprised, yet judgmental as always, look.
“Oh, hyung! Well.. it's not..-”
“Someone has a crush on our little Hansungie,” Sooho pinched his cheek happily and then looked at Danse, “Don't worry. We'll make sure she's treating him well.”
“And who is it?” Hansung’s brother asked, still not quite knowing who it was that had an apparent crush on the younger Suk. Sunwoo's eyes were the first to travel to his sister walking out of the physician’s hut, you trotting behind her, clearly annoyed by whatever she was currently telling you, but Ahro didn't care, “Your sister?!”
“What..- are you crazy?! No! The other one! (Y/N)!” Sunwoo took full offense at that, everyone could tell.
His sister wasn’t on the market, not for any of these lot.
It seemed like not every Hwarang member had seen you around yet so when all attention was on you and Ahro, the first boys could be heard whistling, grinning, some even complimenting you, while you and Ahro thankfully didn't hear any of it, both of you too far away.
And Hansung hated every second of it, for some reason.
He hated that they were looking at you like this. He wanted to go over there and pull you away where they couldn’t see you or tell them to shut their mouths.
Maybe it was his ‘connection’ to you, or maybe it was just the fact that someone had finally chosen him and he wanted to protect that.
If only he was more of a men like the older Hwarang members.. if only he was more like his brother..
“If you foolish boys are done chasing skirts that you'll never reach, how about we get back to your studies?!” Wihwa appeared like a ghost, all boys immediately jumping up and bowing, before returning to their seats.
And Hansung has never been more thankful for a lesson in his life.
Tumblr media
“Stay. Here,” Ahro pushed you down onto a chair, “And don't go anywhere. Please.”
“Fine,” you rolled your eyes, “You don't have to be so dramatic, you know?”
“I don't have to be so..-” if you weren't careful, she'd smack you right across the face at some point, “Just.. don't move, alright? I'll be back in a couple of minutes.”
As far as you knew, she had to get some ingredients from the market, but didn't want to take you with her anymore. Seems like last night had shown her that she'd rather not take you anywhere where there was alcohol for a while.
And what she did was actually really smart.
She left you in the library of Hwarang.
And you had a mission.
“He is going to die from poisoning,” you muttered under your breath, repeating the words the lunatic had said to you before you came here, slowly getting up and walking over to the books, “Fuck, this is going to take me ages to translate.”
But maybe that was the point. Ahro could keep you in one spot for once.
And her plan worked perfectly.
She was gone for at least two hours, yet when she came back, you were right where she had left you, books lying on the table in front of you and you desperately trying to understand what they saying.
“So you do listen,” she smiled to herself, “Good to know.”
“Do you know of any poison that can cause blood loss?”
“Blood loss?” she narrowed her eyes at you before sitting down on a chair in front of you, “Not really. Not when the poison consumed at least. It would most likely cause rashes and vomiting before slowly killing you from the inside, but blood loss..-”
“That's what it says in these books as well,” you pointed at everything in front of you, “So that makes me think.. the only way poison and a lot of blood loss could be combined would be something like a.. cut. Or a stab wound, maybe.”
“So.. you think somebody will attack Hansung?”
“I think there's a lot more going on in Hwarang than we think, Ahro. That.. queen of yours,” you lowered your voice at the end, afraid someone might hear you, “I don't know what her game is, but she's got something up her sleeve. Some of the Hwarang members, even they seem like they have their own agenda of why they're here. Banryu, Jidwi..- even Hansung’s own brother would have a reason to kill him.”
“First of all, everyone here loves Hansung. Second of all, you’re talking about his brother. And while they do have some feud going on between them, assuming he might kill his little brother is a little far-fetched, don’t you think?”
“Maybe..-” you leaned back in your chair and crossing your arms in front of your chest, “But it’s hard to figure this out if something as small as a cut can be the cause of his death. It could be literally anyone. So I need to start somewhere. Might as well start with the brother. He’s the one that has the most reason to kill him in my opinion.”
“Whatever you do, you must be careful, (Y/N),” Ahro begged, “I can’t pull you out of trouble like today every time. You can’t act like you might have acted in your home. This isn’t the same place.”
You gulped down hard, nodding a bit before finally looking up at her, “I’m trying.. really, it’s just.. it’s driving me crazy, you know? To see him..”
“I know,” yeah, she could tell. That’s why she was always going easy on you, “Just.. be careful.”
“I will.”
Tumblr media
You honestly felt like you were in one of those spy movies, peaking around the corner and watching Dansae train, the moon already shining brightly in the night sky.
Only problem was that you were terrible at it and that he was not behaving suspiciously at all. You didn’t get any information on him that could prove to be helpful and you've been standing here for more than an hour now. All he's done is train, train and train.
“Jesus, that guy has no life, does he?” you whispered to yourself.
“Who doesn't?”
Terrible spy.
You hadn't even heard someone walk up to you and most certainly hadn't expected it to be Hansung, who was smiling sweetly at you.
“You scared me,” you laughed, trying to downplay just how much he had scared so it didn’t look too pathetic.
“Oh, I'm.. so sorry, I didn't mean to,” he bowed, clearly ashamed of himself, but you quickly pulled him back up, not wanting him to go all formal on you.
“No, don't. It's.. alright.”
It was only then that Hansung realized you had been watching his brother.
“What.. are you doing?” he sounded worried. Not because he thought you might plot something against him, but because he was worried that you might.. like him.
“Uh,” your brain began coming up with various lies, but in the end you settled for the most plausible one. You were a ‘physician’, after all: “Ahro told me your brother was experiencing muscle pain, so she sent me to look out for him. In case he needs some help during his training.”
“That is so nice of you,” oh god, he shouldn't beam so happily at you when you had just lied straight into his face. When the reality was that you had your suspicions about the brother. That you were afraid he might kill Hansung, “Thank you so much for doing this!”
“It's.. fine,” you chuckled nervously and looked down to the ground because of what you were about to say next, “So uh.. about.. last night. I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to do that, I was really drunk and didn't really know what I was doing.. I shouldn’t have done that.”
Was he.. blushing?
“I was just surprised.. I've never had a pretty girl come to my bed. Well, I mean.. I have, but you know.. I mean I haven't like that, but..-” he was stumbling over his words, trying to tell you that he wasn't a loser, but at the same time, kinda was, and that was the most endearing thing ever.
You really liked the kid.. a lot.
“Pretty, hm?” you decided to focus on that part, the corners of your mouth rising, “Thank you.”
“Everyone thinks you’re pretty. Well, they think Ahro is pretty too, but everyone is afraid of Sunwoo, so they don’t say that.”
Yeah.. you got the feeling that he was quite protective of her.
“Well, I don’t really care about the others, you know?”
You know that expression that people make when they just heard that somebody likes them? That little exhale, followed by the most beautiful smile ever? In his case, it was the same boxy smile that reminded you of your best friend..
And even though you would have liked to continue this conversation for a little while longer, especially because you felt like he was finally warming up to you, a presence to your right made you shift your focus.
And there she was, the fucking queen herself, staring at you and Hansung like she was about to murder you right on the spot.
He was way too focused on you, studying your every feature, to notice her.
So you were the one that turned to smile at him again and end this conversation before she really could kill either of you, “I think I should go to bed.. maybe.. tell your brother to do the same. And get a good night's rest on your own.”
“I will,” he giggled, “Thank you again.”
He bowed once more, before walking to his brother.
And you, towards the queen.
“Your majesty.”
“Who are you?” right to business then, eh?
“Don't worry. I won't be here for long. I just want to help Hwarang,” you lied, playing the role that Ahro thought you should play.
“I’ve been playing this game for too long for you to fool me, my dear,” she smiled, but at the same time, she looked like she would slice a dagger through your neck at any second. And for the first time since you came here, she scared you. A chill ran down your spine at the way she was looking at you, with so much indifference that you could already feel the killing blow, “I don’t know why you’re really here yet, but trust me when I say I will find out. And once I do and once my suspicions about you being an enemy will turn out to be true, I will have you killed you and everyone you care about,” her eyes wandered to Hansung, both of you looking at how the boy was trying to be playful with his brother, but Danse only pushed him out of the way to go to bed, leaving a disappointed Hansung behind.
It was the way she said it.. with no remorse.. like she wouldn’t care about killing an innocent soul.
“You won’t have a reason for that,” you said, your voice a lot weaker and a lot less confident than earlier today.
“We’ll see about that.”
You only allowed yourself to breathe again when she was far enough away.
You needed to be more careful from now on, or it wouldn’t just be Hansung dying here.

we are even
summary : Y/n is the physician at the Hwarang house, one day when she got some mud on her clothes she went to clean it at the physician room, but Han sung came in the wrong moment.
pairing: Suk Han sung x reader
a/n: I had this idea watching hwarang today, it so good. Special note HAPPY BIRTHDAY KIM TAEHYUNG! feedback always welcome.
Tumblr media
A loud sigh was heard from the physician room, it was no other Suk Han sung. “what’s the  matter Han Sung? You have been siting here and sighing non stop for an hour”.
“it’s just” he sighed once again and stared outside as if he was in some type of deep thought.
He turned towards you once again “ hey I have something to show you“ he grabbed your arm and dragged you out of the room before you were able to say something.
He dragged you outside and pointed at Soo ho and Ban Ryu who were bickering over something stupid. “What Han sung? what did you want to show me?” you raised your voice  slightly  because of Soo ho and Ban Ryu where shouting so loudly.
“I wanted to tell you something very Important, but I didn’t know how to do it so I came outside but it looks like I can’t do that here either”. Han sung confessed.
To be honest you really liked Han sung, he was really sweet and incredibly handsome. And you really wanted to hear what he had to say, but you weren’t able to hear anything do to the fact that Soo ho and Ban Ryu were screaming their lungs out and your unconditional heart beating. Which usually happens when you stand in a close proximity with Han sung like right now.
You looked up at the tall figure who was standing mere winches from you, his face was so close to yours you were afraid that you might have bad breath.
Both of you stared at one another as Han sung confessed  something to you, something which you weren’t able to make out. Your focus on Han Sung left when you heard a loud scream come from behind you.
You turned around to see what was going on when you received a big ball of mud on your chest. You looked down and back at  Soo Ho who was trying to hide behind Sun Woo, but ended up getting shoved in front you instead.
You glared at Soo Ho for ruining your clothes, but started to laugh when he ended up dirtying his own and promised  you that he would do your laundery.
You closed the door behind you making sure that no one was there, and quickly took off your clothes.
“Hey Y/n-” Han Sung barged in the room, his eyes going wide as the moon when he saw your breasts. He looked at you and then looked down  at your chest. Your gaze following his, when it lowered to your breasts  and you quickly covered them.
“Get out you” you screamed on top of lungs and Han Sung ran out of the room.
‘‘ goodness’ you sighed out as you calmed your heart.
Han Sung ran as fast his legs would take him, he ended up In Soo Ho’s dorm. He dropped himself on Sun Woo’s bed, “goodness”.
“what happened to you?” Ji Dwi asked. Han Sung breathlessly spoke “bosoms”
You tried to avoid Han Sung at any cost, but that wasn’t something really easy since Han Sung was everywhere you went. So you gave up and moved on, trying to forget the incident, but Han Sung didn’t let that happen.
Since every time you entered a room he was in he would say something like ‘it was the chest’.
And honestly it was both the most annoying  thing ever and funniest, since nobody else understood it but the two of you.
You were in the middle of doing laundry with A Ro when Han Sung came and pulled you away “hey what are doing” you shouted.
Han Sung looked at you and started to strip. Your eyes going wide as saucers when you realized what he was doing “ oi stop it! What are you doing?” you asked.
Han Sung looked at you and then at his shirtless body ‘here now we are even. I saw you and now you saw me” he said innocently.
You blushed, trying not to look at the cute shirtless boy in front of you.
“ and Y/n” he grabbed your face and kissed you on the lips “ I was trying to ask you out the other day, but I wasn’t able to so will you go on a date with me?” .
“of course I will” he smiled at your words and leaned down to press your lips against his once again, but  both of you were interrupted by A Ro and Yeo Wool who were giggling at both of you.

Note
It's even better if it took a really long time for Hansung to see one of the follower's statue moving and you're now able to turn your head little by little and change your expressions.
Hansung bringing your statue with him when Karaka, Evankhell, and White are together before the war. Imagine someone mentioning that one elder you HATE the most and Evankhell notices your statue giving a ✨bombastic side eye✨ before returning back to normal.
Evankhell telling Hansung that there's something wrong with the statue, Hansung trying to stop her from burning your statue-
YOU DO THE ✨SPARKLES✨ LIKE I DO!!!
I can see Hansung sweating as he stands between your statue and Evankhell, trying his best to keep her from getting closer. Now, if you're brave, you can silently laugh at her while Hansung tries to hold her back. Imagine her face when she sees you silently snickering at her before holding a finger up to your mouth and then going back to your original pose before Hansung can see. Chances are though, you don't want to die, so just stay quiet and don't move. Eventually, Hansung will convince her not to melt your statue down.

Lucky -- Chapter Twenty-Nine
Tumblr media
Masterlist     Previous     Next
Warnings: None
Word Count: 3007
“The border is right up there,” I nod, messing around with my bow in hopes of burning off my nervous energy.
“Do you think we will be late? Or early?” Hansung asks.
“Right on time,” I grin, looking around at all the boys around me.
All the Hwarang and Nangdoo are on foot making our way to the border. Master Wihwa and the other teachers are on horses. Once I told everyone my idea, I went from lucky to strategist. Even Master Wihwa was praising the brilliant Star Eyes to all those who could hear. This will all end once we get back to the Hwarang House.
“Look,” Hansung points ahead of us.
I focus on the scene that is unfolding in the distance. There seems to only be two Hwarang on horses, and then a group of citizens are panicking on the ground. Soldiers of South Buyeo are all on horses as they aim bows at the people. In fact, some people are already injured and dead.
Without even true commands, multiple boys and myself shoot arrows right at the soldiers. Then we rush into the field to protect the citizens who have been caught in this terrible situation.
I spot Sunwoo with a busted face and Jidwi as the ones on the horses. BanRyu and Sooho, the latter having an arrow in his shoulder, are on the ground. Ahro is among the scared citizens. It makes me so angry to see everyone like this.
I smirk as I stand among the rest to protect the weak from the strong.
“I don’t know who you are,” Master Wihwa speaks up, settling his horse between Sunwoo and Jidwi’s horses. “But you are currently on Silla’s land. From the looks of it, you lost your way while hunting. You are very close to being mistaken for starting a war. By chance, you wouldn’t be South Buyeo’s Crown Prince Chang, who chased our peace seeking delegation that was not accompanied by troops?” He directs at the man on the lead horse. “If not, you sure look like a bunch of robbers.”
I nod, looking over all the men that have hurt people on our side.
“What would you like to do? Why don’t you observe Hwarang’s skills before you leave?” He raises his hand, and we all get into fighting stances.
The bow in my hands feels right as I grin.
Then the lead man edges his horse closer, and then he speaks. “I was so caught up in tiger hunting that I crossed the border. Please, forgive me immensely for that.”
Master Wihwa chuckles. “If that is the case,” he bows.
“Today, I leave you with a debt,” he is looking at Sunwoo. “However, the next time we meet, at that time, let’s finish the hung, Jinheung.”
I sigh, lowering my bow as the men ride off.
The cheers of the citizens behind us make us all relax. We have won this time. Everyone is safe.
“Sooho,” I gasp, turning to rush up to the boy who is only on his feet thanks to BanRyu.
“Ah, Ara,” Sooho smiles through the pain. “I think this wound deserves a date.”
I roll my eyes, “It seems that you will be perfectly fine. I can stop worrying. Now, it is time to get everyone home.”
“Sunwoo is the King,” Sooho chokes out.
“Sure he is,” I look away. “And I am a foreign princess. Now, let’s start the journey home.”
Sunwoo is not the King, I just know it. Something about him doesn’t add up for him to be the Faceless King. It’s too easy for him to be King.
********
The dining room is filled with laughing, yelling, and excitement as everyone is talking about the fight at the border. We all feel alive, and I can’t stop smiling. I’m squished between Sooho, who now has his arm in a sling, and BanRyu, who seems more relaxed now. It feels amazing to be here.
From what I can piece together from the stories that everyone is giddy about, the journey went something like this. On the first night that they stayed in an inn, they were robbed by starving farmers that had no other choice. They took all the gifts for the prince, as well as the supplies for the trip. That means that the next night they slept outside, and Ahro is the reason they had any food as she helped nearby citizens. Thankfully, they arrived in South Buyeo the next day, but other than not sleeping outside, it didn’t get much better. The prince was not happy that he got no gifts, and Ahro was arrest for helping a small child. The four Hwarang then were locked up for trying to do the right thing, and the princess could do nothing.
This lead to Sunwoo confessing he was the King so no more people would get beheaded the day after, as the Crown Prince was told the King was among the Hwarang there. Sunwoo then had to fight the Prince to save the delegation. He narrowly won, and his wounds show it. His win didn’t save, the citizens, though. Not willing to leave without Ahro and Silla’s people, Jidwi and Sunwoo went to break the people out. Eventually getting help from BanRyu and Sooho. They got the people close to the border, but that stupid prince came to kill them all. Some people sadly did not make it, but we came before more blood could be shed. The Hwarang really saved the day.
“It’s an honorable wound, you rascal,” Sooho smiles at whoever made fun of him.
“It’s manly, Sooho,” I grin up at him, shoving rice into my mouth.
“Ah, thanks, Ara,” he hisses as he moves in a way that pain shoots through him. “It’s really nothing, and if you’re a man, you should endure it.”
         “Stop showing off,” Yeowool chuckles.
         “Ah, let him,” I giggle.
“Why aren’t you bragging, Ara?” Hansung widely smiles.
“Seeing everyone back safe and sound is enough for me,” I shrug, a big smile on my face.
“You came up with the plan to come to the border for us, right?” Sooho asks.
I nod, “It was common sense. If you needed help on the way back, then we should be there. Simples as that. Everyone has given me enough praise, and now you guys deserve to get all the praise.”
         “Sunwoo got hurt,” Hansung pouts.
“I hope that he got his wounds treated,” I shove more food into my mouth.
“After the fight, if he’s not dead now, I’m sure he will be fine,” BanRyu speaks up for the first time since he’s been back.
“I told you, he is the King,” Sooho pokes my side.
“What about Jidwi? Where is he?” I look around the room, but he’s nowhere to be seen. “I saw him earlier, but he should be here with us.”
“It might be too much for him,” Yeowool shrugs. “Are you still worried?”
“No,” I shake my head, making sure that I have no food left on my tray. “But I do want to check on him.” I maneuver my way off the bench, leaning down to press a kiss to Sooho’s cheek. “Nice work taking an arrow for someone else.”
“Thank you,” Sooho’s cheeks barely redden. “Nice work coming up with such a good plan.”
“A pleasure,” I giggle, rushing out of the room to get outside.
The evening is calm, and the stars are out in all their bright glory. It feels right to be outside with the chaos going on inside.
“Now, Jidwi, where are you?” I mumble as I begin my search.
It doesn’t take long for me to find Jidwi, as the boy is rushing towards me with watery eyes.
“Jidwi, I have been looking for you,” I call out, trying to reach for the boy. “I wanted to talk.”
“Leave me alone,” Jidwi snaps at me, shoving my hand away.
“Oh,” I mumble, stumbling back in shock. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to anger you.” I blink back tears, but I will myself not to shed them for him.
“Ara, no,” Jidwi takes a deep breath, grabbing my shoulders to look in my eyes. “I should never snap at people. Most of all you.”
         “Is something wrong?”
“I think my heart is breaking,” his voice cracks.
“Oh, Jidwi,” I sigh, reaching up to cup his face with one hand. “Was this your first love?”
         “Yes,” he nods.
I know that he’s talking about Ahro, and I know that my doctor friend is in love with Sunwoo. How he saw them together or figure out that they are dating is beyond me, but I can understand his sadness.
“I don’t want to bother you with my problems,” he brushes my hand off his cheek.
“Let’s stargaze somewhere,” I tenderly smile. “We don’t have to talk, just look at the sky.”
“Your eyes will always be prettier than the sky,” he leans down to press a kiss to my cheek. “But I’ll gaze at the stars with you.”
A heat rises to my cheeks. “Show the way to whatever you think will be a good place.” I take a deep breath, “It’s nice for you all to be back.”
He pulls away, grabbing my hand and tugging me off with him. “It’s comforting to be back.”
********
“Well, Ara, what is on your mind?” Yeowool asks as we walk around outside.
“Relief has been on my mind since last night, with everyone finally back,” I answer. “Though, I hope Sooho’s wound heals quickly.”
“He took the arrow for Sunwoo, you know. He really believes that Sunwoo is the King.”
“I still think Jidwi makes more sense to be the faceless king,” I shrug. “It really doesn’t mean anything until the Queen confirms who’s King.”
“You’re right,” he sighs. “Hey, is that Hansung standing over there being weird?” He points, and I follow his finger to see that Hansung is standing all by himself.
“That’s him,” I shake my head. “What is up with him recently?”
“Let’s go ask him,” he grabs my hand, leading us towards Hansung. “What are you doing?”
“Is something wrong, Hansungie?” I furrow my eyebrows as I look at the boy.
Hansung is staring down an area that rounds a corner. “Those two aren’t siblings anymore, are they?”
Yeowool places his free arm around Hansung’s shoulder. “What are you talking about?”
I follow Hansung’s gaze to see Sunwoo and Ahro walking together. “It’s cute,” I giggle as Sunwoo pats Ahro on the head.
Hansung bites his bottom lip a few times.
“Ah,” Yeowool takes his arm off Hansung. “He learned how to treat his sister from Sooho, so that’s why he’s like that.”
“They aren’t siblings, though,” I wiggle my hand out of Yeowool’s grasp.
“Wait,” Hansung looks between Yeowool and me before looking back at where Sunwoo and Ahro were. “If Sunwoo is the King, they’re not siblings,” he says after a pause.
“Is that how it works?” Yeowool asks.
“It’s a bit more complicated,” I mumble, having known the truth since Ahro told me not long ago.
Hansung sucks in a breath, “Then what are they now?”
“Whatever they want to be,” I poke Hansung’s side. “Come on, we have class soon, and we have nothing else to do.”
The three of us take our time to reach the classroom, where a few boys are already gathered. Not meaning to, but not really caring, we split up to sit with whoever we decide.
“Hey Jidwi,” I plop down next to him. “Doing any better?”
Jidwi shrugs, “I don’t really know what to think.”
“I wish I could say something to help, but my troubles are different than yours.”
“A princess like you should never have to deal with trivial troubles like that.”
I shrug, “It’s part of life, and reminds me that I am just like everyone else. That we all go through troubles with love, and it will all work out.”
         “I guess so,” he sighs.
It’s a little while later before the rest of the Hwarang arrive, and then Master Wihwa enters, causing the chatter to cease.
Master Wihwa slowly ascends the steps to the raised platform, and then faces us. “The subject that you will learn about today is the Book of Odes. It if the songs of the people which has been passed down by word of mouth for a long time. Inside are the lamentations of the people’s difficult lives, yet there are positive images. Also, there is resentment and pity for the powerless King.”
I barely look at Jidwi, but he makes no real reaction to the mention of king.
“Today, I am going to show you all a poem. The title is ‘Large Rat.’” He pulls a cord to release a scroll with the poem printed on it. “Who would like to read if for everyone.”
         I shift in my seat.
“Jidwi, why don’t you try reading it?”
Jidwi lifts his head to see the poem, and then stands up with a small grunt. “Rat, rat, large rat. Don’t eat my barley. I took care of you for a long time, you aren’t looking after me.” He stops, as if the words are slashing him. “Surely, I will leave you, and leave to go to that happy nation. Happy place, happy place. I will find a way to justify myself there.”
I feel hurt for Jidwi, but I am not sure why. The poem isn’t about him, but it clearly bothers him.
“The rat here symbolizes the ruler,” Master Wihwa says. “In the poem, the king doesn’t take care of his people. He’s hiding and eating grain. Just like someone in real life. If a big rat eats the people’s livelihood, all those people will leave. A king without his people is no longer a king. Do you understand the meaning of this poem?”
“Yes!” I answer with the rest.
I glance up at Jidwi as he stares straight ahead. His pauses stand out in my mind, and I wonder if he is angry at the lack of action that the King has done, or angry because he has done nothing as King. Master Wihwa chose this poem for a reason, and it will be on my mind for a while.
********
I lie in bed, a book in my hands on my day off. All the boys are off doing their own thing, Ahro is busy with doctor things, and going home would just make me miss it more. It’s nice to relax in an empty room and read all day, so I am happy.
“Ara?” Hansung’s tired voice fills my ears.
I turn my head to see Hansung in the doorway in his normal clothing. He looks tired out of his mind, and I can only guess that he’s been training with Danse. “Hansungie, is there anything I can do for you?”
“Cuddles,” he rushes over, collapsing onto the bed. In seconds, he is snuggled into my side.
“Are you training?” I place my book down on my stomach, placing an arm over him.
“On a break. Danse insists that I get better, but I hate it.”
“I know,” I rest my cheek on the top of his head. “I wish I could help you, or make it fun for you.”
         “How do you do it?”
“Me?” I take a deep breath. “I have a lot to prove, so I have to work hard. Archery is a blast, so I don’t have to worry. Everything else I do is to show people how wrong they are.”
“I wish I could think like that.”
“You don’t need to think like me. I don’t want you to think like me. I like how you think. All carefree and loving.”
         “Thanks for saying that, honey.”
I giggle, “How long do you get to be on this break for?”
“Until Danse comes and starts demanding that I spar with him again.”
“Oh, Hansungie, did you run off?”
“No, we needed a drink, and I just left him to come to you?”
“Did you know I was here?”
“I got lucky,” he shifts away moving to look at my face. His eyes not meeting my gaze. “I just want to be with you. I enjoy being with you, like this.”
“I enjoy being with you too,” I tenderly smile.
“I never want us to be apart,” he leans forward so our noses touch. “Danse is intense, and you are soft.” His voice is lower, and his breath on my face is driving me crazy. “My hearts longs for you.”
“Hansungie,” I breath out, feeling my cheeks burst with heat.
“I’m sick of the bone rank, and tired of being looked down on. Honey, I just want to be with you.” He slowly erases the distance between our lips. His soft lips are on mine in a second, and I let my eyes close.
“Hansung!” Danse’s voice shatters the moment.
Hansung pulls away, brushing hair off my face. “Why? Why can’t I just have more than a few minutes with my honey.”
I bring my hand up to cup his cheek. “You’ll, no, we’ll have our time. For now, we have to do things that we may not want to do. Spend time apart. But you are my reason to keep going, Hansungie.”
“I should go before Danse finds us like this. He’ll start yelling and whatnot.”
“Yeah, I’d rather not be lectured by him.”
“Keep enjoying reading, honey,” he presses a kiss to my cheek. “Tell me about it later.” He jumps up, rushing out of the room.
“I will!” I call after Hansung.
It takes a few minutes for me to compose myself enough to pick my book back up. Even though I cannot focus on the words on the page. I’m too giddy from Hansung’s actions. The smile hurts my cheeks, and I can’t stop moving from all the energy.
“That boy,” I happily sigh. “He drives me mad, but I love it.”
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Ah! So, how do you feel about Ara and Hansung? Or do you want Ara to be with someone else? Anyways, hope you enjoyed reading! I always love to know what you thought! :D

In The Moonlight (pt 1)
Tumblr media
You walked down the path to the tea shop, from the place we stayed. You heard someone yelling causing me to turn, you saw to men running my way.
Eyes wide, you wasn't sure what was happening when one grabbed my hand as he pulled me aside so that the horse wouldn't hit you.
Y/n: AHHH! You screamed, as you were picked up, and pulled to the side.
The man held you in place, only for you to catch a glimps of a attractive young man wearing a straw hat. Your hand was on his shoulder, as he still held you in place gently setting you dow.
Man: Are you okay?
Y/n: Y...yes. Thank you. W-
Other man: Come on we need to go. He yelled, making the man in front of you bow and run away in the same direction.
Frowning you made your way to the tea shop, going to the private room where your friend was waiting.
Y/n: Forgive me for being late. I had an incident. You said, sliding the door close.
Sam Maek Jong/Ji Dwi: Are you okay? The king asked, as he ran over to you grabbing your shoulders in his hands.
Y/n: I'm fine. I didn't get hurt.
(King) Sam Maek Jong/Ji Dwi: What happened?
Y/n: I was on my way here when someone screamed. Two men came running my way, I assume someone was chasing them...but one of the men pulled me away and to safety to prevent the horse from hurting me.
(King) Sam Maek Jong/Ji Dwi: What a relief. I don't know what I would have done, if you'd have gotten hurt. He said, as you felt his hands shaking on your shoulder. Your my best friend y/n, I cannot loose you too.
Y/n: You will always have me around. I promise. You replied, as you placed your hands on his cheeks. Trust me.
The King smiled, as he nodded composing himself as he walked back to drink his tea. One thing he didn't know was the butterflies he let loose in your stomach, when he held you close to him. But alas you knew you shouldn't have these feelings for your King, you were sent away with him since your family were the richest in the kingdom. She sent you away, to protect your life as well and to the fact that you were best friends before being sent away.
Taking in all the facts, you straightened out your dress, and sat down across form the King pouring him a cup of raspberry tea. Not making eye contact with the King at all. Noticing this, he placed the cup down as he moved to sit next to you.
(King) Sam Maek Jon/Ji Dwi: Is something wrong? He asked, as he pulled your chin up to look at him. You can tell me anything.
Y/n: N...no. No, I can't.
(King) Sam Maek Jong/Ji Dwi: Y/n...are you in trouble with someone or something?
Y/n: No. It's just...your the one person I can't tell and at the same time, your the one I want to tell this the most. But I realized that it's better if I didn't. You said, replied as you straightened yourself out.
(King) Sam Maek Jong/Ji Dwi: What do you mean?
Y/n: Shhh. It's a secret. You said, as you smiled lightly. I should go to my room, tomorrow your going to the Hwarang house and since I was asked to be a pidiatrician along with another girl, we'll see each other a lot.
The King simply nodded as you exited the room, curious as what you were keeping secret. He was going to make it his mission to find out what your big secret was, even if it meant digging into your personal life which you were open towards him. But this was a secret he had to know.
2 months later
With all the training, practice, discipline, and much more he still hasn't figured out what was going on. But he realized that you were getting closer to a certain someone. Yes, he was glad it wasn't Sun Woo, but he wasn't extactic about the part where you were becoming close with Soo Ho.
Everyone knew Soo Ho's history, he was a player and the ladies loved him. Ji Dwi knew, you knew of Soo Ho's history, but it didn't seem to bother you with the way you were talking.
Out of nowhere, Ji Dwi walked over to the both of you grabbing your arm as he dragged you to the storage room.
Y/n: Ow! What was that about, Ji Dwi? That was very rude. You said rubbing your arm.
(King) Sam Maek Jong/Ji Dwi: What was that?
Y/n: What was what?
(King) Sam Maek Jong/Ji Dwi: With Soo Ho. Why were you so comfortable with him? He's a player y/n, and I don't want you anywhere near that.
Y/n: Near what? Since I met Soo Ho, he hasn't once tried asking me out, flirting with me or anything else. He's my friend Ji Dwi. I'm friends with Sun Woo, Ban Ryu, Han-Sung and Yeo-wool. Why doesn't it bother you when I'm with them, but it bothers you when I'm with Soo Ho?
(King) Sam Maek Jong/Ji Dwi: Y/n, I don't like seeing him around you. He makes you laugh, he...it feels like I can't do that anymore.
Y/n: What do you mean Ji Dwi?
(King) Sam Maek Jong/Ji Dwi: Because...i want to make you feel that way.
Y/n: But you always make me laugh. Your there when I need to be comforted, when I need someone to be silly with, you trained me. Ji Dwi, your my best friend. What else could there be?
Ji Dwi pushed you against the wall, as he captured your lips in a kiss as tears rolled down his face.
Tumblr media
You could feel the tears drip on your face, as he held you tight while kissing you. Your eyes were wide open, as you looked at the site in front of you.
This was the first time in ages that you've seen Ji Dwi cry, and now he was crying in the kiss he was giving you.
Pulling away softly form his kiss, you made eye contact with Ji Dwi feeling tears creep up in your eyes but you did all you could to keep them from falling.
(King) Sam Maek Jong/Ji Dwi: I realized I want you. That's why I don't want Soo Hoo to go near you o-
Y/n: Ji Dwi...i can't. You said, lying to him and to yourself. I don't want this...your my best friend, and soon to be king. Not to mention the fact that you have an arranged marriage... I love you Ji Dwi but not this way. I'm sorry. You whispered, as you pushed past him leaving the room and leaving him confused and hurt.
You ran to your room that you shared with A-ro, as you stepped inside the room and closed it tears streamed down your eyes as you cried from the event that just happened.
You loved him more than anything in your life, but this...this you couldn't do. The queen, gave you clear instructions to keep any and all woman away from him and that's what you were doing. You knew you could never marry the king, and therefore you needed to move on even if he just confessed his love.
1 week later
It's been an entire week, since you've gone through the events of that night. You were at the river, enjoying the cold feeling of the water against your skin. You thinking about all the lovely days you had here with everyone, but particularly one person who you still couldn't get your mind off. You've been avoiding him the entire week, everytime he came to the phesisians room, you would hand it over to A-ro and leave.
A-ro was confused, but helped you anyway. Now you were here again, enjoying the sun setting slowly when someone sat next to you.
Soo Ho: May I join you?
Y/n: Please do. I hate watching the sun set alone.
Soo Ho: What happened?
Y/n: Excuse me?
Soo Ho: Between you and Ji Dwi. When you arrived you both were best friends, now you've drifted apart. Why?
Y/n: Its a long story, and personal. Also the fast that he didn't want me to date someone, he didn't approve of. Which didn't make sense, but in someone I guess it did. Ji Dwi and I've know each other, our whole lives...that's why we're so protective of one another. But it gets frustrating at times. I can date if I want...cant I?
Soo Ho: From your point of view, your right. But see it from his prospective too, he just doesn't want you to get hurt.
After Soo Ho said that, you realized that he was telling the truth. But something inside you took over your body, as you dove forward and kissed him.
Y/n: Sorry. You said fast, as you jumped to your feet feeling uncomfortable.
Soo Ho, stood as he pulled you in as he returned your kiss.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Unbeknownst to you, in the woods Ji Dwi saw everything sadness filling his heart as he slowly walked off.
He didn't know you loved him just as much, but you needed to move on. Not only that, if you went against the queen she would hurt your family, those were here exact words.
This is why you did this, but some part of you enjoyed kissing Soo Ho. This felt real to you, even though a part of you wished it was Ji Dwi...but the other part of you wanted it to be Soo Ho.
Pulling away from the kiss Soo Ho, smiled down at you as he kissed your forehead.
Soo Ho: I've been wanting to kiss you for 2 weeks now, after I realized I liked you I wanted to make you mine. That's why I've been different lately.
Y/n: Different?
Soo Ho: I realized I had to change my ways. Yes...i was a ladies man. But I don't want to be anymore, i want to be with you. If you'll let me. He whispered, as he's hands moved to your waist.
Y/n: I would love that. You replied, as you kissed him again.
Ji Dwi, swallowed, as he walked off not wanting to show any sign of him being there. Once he reached the House, he went straight to his room laying down as he looked up at the seeling.
Sun Woo: What's wrong with you? Sun Woo asked, as he sat on his own bed looking at his friend.
(King) Sam Maek Jong/Ji Dwi: Nothing.
Yeo-Wool: Really? Then why are you sulking? Ever since the day we met, you've never been like this.
(King) Sam Maek Jong/Ji Dwi: It's-
Soo Ho: Hi. Soo Ho said, with a huge smile plastered on his face.
Ban Ryu: What's got you so happy?
Soo Ho: Y/n, agreed to be my girlfriend.
As soon as Soo Ho said that, Sun Woo looked over at Ji Dwi instantly knowing what was bothering him. Sun Woo, was the only one that knew of his feelings for you, besides yourself and here you were giving another man a chance in dating you.
The question that kept playing on in Ji Dwi mind, was what would have happened if he played his hand sooner?
Would you be with him right now?
As well as other thing, would you be happy with Soo Ho? Would he treat you like a princess? Would you be the only one he wanted around?
All thought that played, as he shook his head. Yes, you chose someone else but this only meant that he had to be there for you as a friend.

"My lady."
"Ah, pardon me, did you say something?" A pair of bright illuminating blue eyes flickered toward a pool of transparent green.
"Don't worry too much about it, my lady. All I did was to inform you of the snack I've prepared beforehand." Taken aback, she blinked profusely, noting through his words with the depths of her mind. However, it didn't take her long, as she replied with a soft and gentle laugh.
"Thank you, I appreciate your consideration." The male shook his head from left to right, disagreeing with what she had said. "It's the least I could do for you. You have been engrossed in work to the point it's been awhile since you took a breather." Her shoulders tensed, a bead of sweat trickled down her cheek. It was a fact that she, alone, was overworking herself.
Clearing her throat, she offers him a smile, albeit awkwardly. “I assure you once every work is over, I'll take a stroll by the town.” Even if it might turn out to be an empty promise, can anyone blame her for holding such a responsible epithet? The well-known shirasagi himegimi, a lady that strikes such a perfectionist life earnestly. If she were to back away from the expectation that upholds her, it might ruin the family name.
“Perhaps by that time, you wouldn’t mind joining me?” It was a sincere invitation, where she only seeks for an acquaintance or even a friend's company. “Certainly, I cannot decline my lady offer now, can i?” The way he expresses his feelings is mixed with hidden mischief, teasing her. After saying that, he received a charming faint laugh.
"Naturally." With one last check, the male smiled softly, shaking his head from left to right, eventually leaving her all by herself once more. The room that once was lit up by another presence was now cold, empty and hollow. The scribble of her quill was the only thing that became the source of sound. One of these days, she is definitely growing sick of it.
Time keeps on ticking, the day has turned night, the world keeps on revolting, as the only difference is the same position and activity she strives on. The snack that was given a few hours ago had run out, filling her empty stomach for now. But unfortunately, there is one thing that will be a hard pass challenge. The lure of sweet and lulling rest.
“Now that I finished this report...” Her lips separated open, a loud yawn escaped through.
“I could start analyzing this month's assurances...” She rested her head on her knuckle, reading the paper in her hand. Every writing and word became blurry once or twice, drowsiness began to attack. Somehow, even opening her eyes wide was a difficult mission to undertake.
“No... I must... Resist...” However, such things were never asked, because slowly, her head fell gently onto the table, one hand resting under her while the other fell to the side. Her shoulders rose and fell, gently. The devil's temptations finally overpowered her, as she drifted to another place, far from reality, and perhaps her own location.

A tickle of something very soft and gentle was grazing the sleeping figure. A frown replaced her once peaceful expression, feeling something, or rather the same thing, gently touching her cheek. To be sure, it brought her to consciousness.
As a signal, her eyes opened wide, the damp and hard ground was the only thing she could feel, she got up and rubbed the back of her head. "Did I fall asleep...—?" However, what caught her attention was not the view of her tatami floor. Instead, it was dirt, dry soil that cracked from place to place, along with golden grass that adorned the meadows.
"...Hah...?" Her lips opened and closed many times, if possible, her eyes wide enough to be ready to fall out.
This is not her house. To be precise, it was nowhere to be seen. A table decorated with lots of paper, quills and ink, and the mocking sound of a clock, tested her limitations. Is she sleepwalking? It's possible, but it's unlikely to happen. If she did, one of her servants or even her brother would see it and stop her from going any further. However, she was here — a beautiful meadow with golden grass, accompanied by a gentle breeze and a vast blue sky.
She pondered whether it was a futile dream trying to keep her sanity off the edge. Thus, she reached out to pinch her soft skin, receiving a yelp of pain. "I was hoping it would be a reverie... But instead, I'm experiencing pain." Biting her lower lip, she felt very depressed.
Perhaps, it could be some kind of lucid dream where your senses are on high alert? Possible, but unlikely to happen. Whatever kind of supernatural experience she was currently having, it had to be stopped. Nonetheless, it didn't leave enough of an impression on her, instead leading her into a state of extreme uncertainty and panic.
She had to think. What could be the trigger for any event that is currently rolling down the path of her life? Could it have something to do with the Shogunate? Was she able to transfer her possessions to people to unknown lands? Looking at her surroundings, there is no possible explanation that she was transferred to Liyue, right??
She kept pondering and contemplating, every theory and culprit had been carefully thought out. Nevertheless, nothing came to her mind.
"...It's no use... I don't have a definite clue." An exasperated sigh escaped her lips, she reached out to the handle where her sword might lie. A golden particle appeared, confirming her conclusion about her vision. It would look like it would still work fine.
A rustle behind her caught her attention, she quickly turned around, her sword appeared in her hand, the tip of the blade colliding with another metal. What she saw shocked her. Her breath hitched, pupils dilated at the sides while he was considered an intruder, visibly furrowing his brows at her hostility. Slowly, they lowered their blade, holding it lazily by their hand.
"Strange... I thought I was the only one." The interlocutor spoke, one hand holding what looked like a leather bag. However, there was one fatal error. She didn't understand what he was talking about, so she tilted her head in confusion. Seeing this, the interlocutor sighed, once again saying something to her; "Pocket, do you have it?"
But alas, their suspicion is enough to confirm this acknowledgement of hers. Taking something out of their leather bag, something that resembles a sphere and round — with the lifeless color of black. It hovered on top of their palm, slowly for sure, they extended their hand to give it to her. Still clueless, she pointed to herself, blinking for some time, awaiting for their validation. What she received is the only deep sigh, entirely amused and annoyed by her lack of knowledge. Lazily, they nodded their heads, showing a sign it was in fact, for her alone.
She hesitates for a moment, due to them being nothing but a stranger. This sphere could be anything that consists of explosives or so on, but somehow, she had the feeling it would be a different case from that. She reached out toward the sphere, the end of her finger grazing the orb gently as it started to shimmer, coming undone as it engulfed her form. But, the attack she awaits never comes, nothing happened to her. Again, she looks back at her interlocutor, confusion written across her face.
"Hah, I can't believe you don't have your own pocket... More importantly, the fact you don't understand the language without the pocket itself is absurd." Now, she could hear him loud and clear, she pointed out to him, entirely amazed. "Ah! I understand you now—"
"I could tell." She pressed her lips into a thin line, hearing the snide tone by their voice. Taking note of her silence, they shake their heads in return, trying to return to the first point they converse with her. They reached out to her pointing finger, lowering it down, resulting in her to grow embarrassed and restless.
"Be thankful I actually lend help. Now, you owe me a favor, and I'll take it right away." Before she could even retort back, they already beat her to it in a nonsensical question; "Are you coming from the main branch?" If possible, her expression grew comical, as she tilted her head with a loading mark right on top of her head.
"No? Are you an outcast as well then?" Her brain went short circuit, taking a while to register and deciphering their words into her mind.
"No...?" A following silence soon crashed on both figures. Not knowing exactly what she did wrCoong, she sweat drops heavily, looking to the side as she tends to lock herself away from socializing, and she, herself, is quite surprised by the current event.
The interlocutor reached out to mess their own bluenette hair, they inhaled deeply, and it resulted in their sigh to be as equal as how much they took in the oxygen. "You don't need to be wary of spilling information, we're both coming from the same place either way." The same place? Could he possibly be another Kamisato? As far as she is aware, there's only her and her brother. Or there's a chance for it to be... An illegitimate child?
"Khun Aguero Agnes." He introduced himself, hands shoved inside his pocket, cobalt blue eyes staring right ahead at her. Ah, so he didn't come from the Kamisato clan. That alone is enough to bring her at ease.
She smiles kindly and rather, sweetly at his direction. "Kamisato Y/n, a pleasure to meet you, Khun." That piques his interests, he raises one of his brow, looking at her in bewilderment. "Khun Kamisato Y/n? Or Kamisato Khun Y/n?" She smiles — Yet, it seems to be much more forced to keep her image.
"Just, Kamisato Y/n. There are some misconceptions here, I am not a part of your family on behalf of your information." How is he supposed to believe that when he's very much aware, that his family had the iconic appearance of blue hair and eyes. And, she very much likely fits the criteria.
"Listen, I understand that this tower is most likely to be something you need to be suspicious of, but hiding your-so-obvious identity won't help you anywhere." All of the sudden, Y/n shriek in surprise, feeling an arm that coils around her neck, practically dragging her out of force.
"As a fellow Khun, we must stick close especially when we're pretty much exiled away."
"Again, there's some misconceptions in this entire flow of a conversation!!" She tried to come up with validation. Needless to say, it was a futile attempt.

It has been quite some time ever since Y/n took a step inside this world. A world that works much more different than hers. At first, it was quite the trouble especially with the fact she is quite unknown to this place. Thankfully, she's not alone, ever since she stumbles upon Baam with Khun help, she feels much calmer knowing there is someone else who's clueless just like herself. Putting aside all of that light mockery and bullying from Khun, himself.
Other than that, this place has been treating her well. She could act as she desired, without needing to worry of the judgmental eyes from others and the clan itself. In this place, she felt much more alive and free. What's a bit troubling is her identity itself. Many mistaken her for Khun sister or siblings, keeping in mind that he sticks close by her side most of the time. It was hard to tell others about that matter, even when she already retell everything, they shrugged it off and still claimed her to be a Khun. And some even say, she could take it to her advantage.
Thought, certainly, she won't play along with it?
"—?!"
A blade lunges right past Hatz cheek, cutting through the skin efficiently. Momentarily, he tried to evened out his breathing, studying it from the rush of adrenaline. The sight of a composed sparring friend, enough to calm him down. If it were a battlefield, surely he would've lost.
"It's my loss." His sword has long gone, clashing against her blade previously before she swung it away. Much to his dismay, never once did he take her lightly. The two would fight on equal ground, without using any boost or even power. But, she always becomes the victor.
Y/n take a moment of solitude, dematerializing her blade away, turning to a form of golden particles before it hover behind her back. "Once again, my apologies if I hurt you in many ways. To begin with, I never intended to use my full abilit—" Hatz raised his hand, silencing her in one movement.
"It's fine. I'm the one who asks you to go all out." She looked at the cut by his left cheek, blood oozing out and rolled down to his chin. However, with one swift movement, he wiped it away using his thumbs as if it was nothing. She grimaces at the sight of blood smearing against his skin, reaching out to properly clean it.
Well, she tried to. "You heard him, he's the one who asked you to go all out, no need to feel bad." She felt an arm wrapping around her waist, head on top of her head. Hatz's expression immediately twisted to annoyance.
"What are you doing here, ugly earring?"
"Well, unlike you, I've a much more valid reason to be here. To take my sister away from an eye sore."
The two male exchange glare as she becomes their daily conflict once again. She sighs, knowing for sure that her sword has entirely dematerialized to the point Khun can hug her from behind. It was a well known fact that this annoying prick, the embodiment of Satan child itself, has a soft spot for her only. Perhaps, it could've been because of the genuine and sincere feeling she had gifted him, resulting in him claiming her as his sister whether anyone likes it or not. In particular, she did not mind, it felt as if her brother went along in this travel dimension of her.
"You can't hog her to yourself all the time now, can you?" Khun scoffed at hearing that. "What a shame, I can. I'm her brother."
"A self-proclaimed one." Again, the two exchange intensive glare, leading for Y/n to sweat drop from the rising tension. It was no lie that the two of them hit off like water and oil, always contradicting each other and trying to mend their way by themselves.
"I pity her for having a cunning brother like you. She's much more humble and kind, to the point she wouldn't dare to hurt a regular despite everything." Somehow, Khun snapped his finger at what Hatz said. A sly smile curled up from the edge of his lips, resulting for the male to be intrigued in what he said.
"That's right. But, no worries, I know my sister more than you. She can do the gaslighting and I could do the rest, simple." Hatz cannot believe what he was hearing at this moment. He looks at Y/n in confirmation, as she just shrugs in response, not giving the answer he exactly desires.
And of course, she would play along with it. After all, her nature fit right in within the family.
●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○
"Aguero, I'm on my way." Reporting her current status, Y/n dashed toward the empty field. After confirming the situation with Hatz and the others, she was prompted to return back to Khun's side. She heard it, the panic by his voice, someone entering his lighthouse, she heard it all by the communication that kept them informed of their situation.
Swiftly, she slid across the ground, making a sharp turn before continuing to run past everything. Everything went well, this final exam will run smoothly, is what she hopes to be. The only problem is some twist and perhaps a free loader by the team, even though she could tell how much of a bad news Rachel actually was. But, what can she do when Baam seems to hold her in a higher light itself?
"I'm closing in— Hiehk—?!" She forced her heels to dig down the ground, stopping her from possibly tackling down a hooded figure. She takes a sharp breath, exhaling them almost immediately. It was a close call, and she is aware of that.
"My apology, however, can you please be so thoughtful…" Her words trailed off, recalling critical memories. None of the regulars that participated in this last test use a light brown cloak. She furrowed her brow, one hand reaching out to her side. "To perhaps... Move aside—"
"I find it unnecessary to engage in a fight with me." Her body stiffened, hand hovering by the air. The stranger takes off his hood, revealing a striking and similar appearance such as her and Khun.
"But, I must admit, I didn't expect to see another one."
"I'm not a Khu—"
"Sure you aren't." He's much more infuriating than Khun himself. Even he had at least some time to listen to her explanation one way or another. But, he seems to be someone who's much more stubborn and has another goal set in mind.
"At the very least, now I understand why he didn't even want to meet Maria." Y/n remain silent, knowing who exactly he's talking about. He takes a few steps close, tapping her forehead. "Because he found a replacement within a short span." She looked at him confused, reaching out to hold her own forehead.
"Khun Hachuling, remember that." Leisurely, he walked away, acting a bit too carefree to her liking. Especially when he struck a possible threat a few minutes ago. But, all thoughts immediately vanished away, recalling an important matter.
"Ah! Aguero!"
The female returns back to the same pace of speed. Adjusting to a new life whereas she had been transferred in. It may seem a bit too peaceful for a moment. All she needs is to await the downfall of that peace and short-term joy.
