"In the end, they've made a grave mistake."
Aalis takes a sip out of his tea, lifting it up with the tea saucers. There is nothing more peaceful than the afternoon tea hour. The event yesterday will surely imprint itself in many memories for the next couple of years.
It's not like Aalis could blame them for it. Who would've thought there will be two first year amateur plus a monster cat, trespassing the RSA without any notice. He couldn't understand their persistence. Sure, he must admit, Y/n is one interesting individual. She's one of the kind, in a good way of course.
Unlike others, she adjusted way too fast in a world she quite does not understand. As if Y/n had braced herself for the worst, it is quite ironic the tale of the magicless student. Y/n is surrounded by outstanding futuristic magicians, they all have the capabilities to overturn the entire world. Especially how he had recalled that one far prince.
There is nothing more frightening than the fact a strong being has entered their rivalry school. Sadly enough, he rarely participates in between the interscholarship events. Although, Aalis doesn't complain much, since it is a battle they could win as long as Malleus won't be in the way.
The knock by the door gained his attention, his eyes darted to the dark wood door, knowing who the guest that soon would come. "You may enter." Aalis muttered short and solid, having no other words to say. The door creek opened, and he lowered down his cup, returning it into its original post. Aalis could spot the familiar h/c color, the silence that tranquil through the room was peaceful.
Y/n hesitantly take a step inside, having some message coming from Che'nya; Our dorm leader wants to meet you, is what he said. However, she did not expect that the dorm leader he mentioned was Aalis himself. It was nerve racking enough in his presence, especially after yesterday, she cannot help but feel rather guilty since Ace, Deuce and Grim are her responsibility.
"About yesterday—"
"Have a seat."
Reluctantly, she walked further inside, not forgetting to close the door behind her, before proceeding further into the room. Y/n looked at the empty seat across from him, anxiety dwelled inside her mind, corrupting through her common senses. "...I, If you allow me." She pulled the seat back, making space for her to sit down.
The table was filled with plenty of pastries and tea that entered through her nostrils. Aalis sat rather peacefully across from her, blue enchanting eyes drifting outside the window. Y/n has always thought through Leona words, RSA filled with snotty and pampered princesses. Yet, the sight in front of her makes her assume it must've been for the hatred coming from NRC. Unlike what he said, Aalis and the others look quite the opposite.
Well, maybe Rielle looks like he's a spoiled prince. But, he has his own aura that lure people into his presence—
"Have you heard," Y/n flinched, face flushed in deep red after noticing she had been staring. She looked down at the ground, relieved to know Aalis wasn't looking in her direction. "The tale of this dorm?"
Aalis turned to face her, however one of his brow rose from its place. He wondered why Y/n looked redder than her usual skin tone. Either she's sick or angry or maybe…Embarrassed of something. Unfortunately, he couldn't tell for sure.
"Is it… The Sevens?" Y/n asked, looking at the long blonde male with an eyes filled with curiosity. Aalis answers her with a calm soothing voice. "It is the Sevens, but there's a distinction to it."
"Distinction?" Aalis nods, picking up his cup of tea and sipping it by the edge.
Just like how NRC and RSA is a polar opposite to each other. The Sevens they have itself play a different kind of role and have a different kind of tale. If Savanaclaw represent the King of Beast, alas the dorm here represents the spirit of the King of Pride. A tale where the king ruled over his own kins with pride and honor, leading them to a peaceful life.
"The Maiden of Wonderland." Y/n interest grows, taking her own cup of tea and calmly taking a sip. The refreshing flavor bloomed inside her mouth, the lingering taste of jasmine was present. Aalis looks somewhat calm and carries the aura in which he couldn't care less of what happened. He looks like someone who'll do anything to fulfill hir curiosity and someone who has a sharp mouth to anger someone.
"Maiden of Wonderland?" Aalis briefly nodded to confirm her question.
┏━━━━━━━━°⌜ 赤い糸 ⌟°━━━━━━━━┓
Maiden of Wonderland
A young and curious maiden, who follows a rabbit down its hole to a world of Wonderland. There, she meets an array of anthropomorphic creatures who defy logic and reason. She ventured through the entire land, lending a help and once escaped the wrath of its tyranny ruler.
┗━━━━━━━━°⌜ 赤い糸 ⌟°━━━━━━━━┛
"That seems like… Twisted Wonderland for me?" Aalis looks at her with a look of confusion, wondering why she connects the tale of The Maiden of Wonderland with the world they're living in.
"Well, I mean, it's… Twisted Wonderland, you know? Like, Wonderland but Twisted." Seeing Aalis face of confusion, she tried to come up with another explanation. "And… Everything here defy logic? Like, magic and all…"
Aalis looked at her, taking a quick look at her nervous state. "Magic is a normal case for us except for you. Hence, that's why I say you've fallen into the rabbit hole."
Y/n pressed her lips into a thin line, aware of the fact she might've been related to the said Maiden. Falling into the rabbit hole in the shape of a coffin and dark robe around her. Plus, she is pretty much curious about the things she shouldn't have. And the last part… Escaping a tyrant wrath… Honestly, isn't this too much of a coincidence?
"I believe," Aalis and Y/n make eye contact between each other. "That Alice has found her wonderland."
Aalis wasn't implying him or the maiden, rather what he has implied is the girl that seated across from him.
●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○
"Y/n!!!"
From afar, Y/n could hear the shout coming from one energetic being. A lock of bright orange swayed by the wind, it fluttered by the end and bobbing up and down from the movement. Rielle could be seen running towards her direction, arms spread open, ready to tackle her into a hug.
And she, being the kind one, moved to the side.
"Eh—"
". . ."
With that, Rielle ended up tackling down the ground instead. Neige who was chasing after him cannot help but let out an audible sigh. Even for someone who has the patient of an angel, he could feel rather dejected by his friend shenanigans. In Y/n case, she was fortunate enough that a protective body guard of his did not witness the downfall of the youngest prince.
The three individuals stayed in silence, with Neige capable of catching up with the two, he immediately joined in the silence. There are nothing more embarrassing than the fact Rielle, one of the Royal blood by the Coral Sea, being hug-rejected and look idiotic in front of a guest.
"How are you, Y/n? I heard you spent time with Aalis the other day." Neige smiles at her, receiving an awkward smile coming from her. Well, what he had said was true, she did spend the entire day with Aalis and some time with Che'nya who interfered with the two. If she must rate the moment, Y/n truthfully admit she had fun. It has been quite awhile for her to play around without worrying about anyone committing a problem.
"I've been doing fairly well, Neige. And yes, I did spent time wit—"
"Then, it's our turn now!" Rielle stood up straight, hands in his hips as he recovered from that moment of embarrassment. The prince holds her wrist and Neige, dragging the two with him with a happy grin.
"Let's take a detour!" Neige was easy to comply with, having been used by his personality. But, Y/n? Not so much. It reminded her of how the others back in NRC often drag her around to cause unnecessary mayhem. Her heart beat erratically, trying to keep it down through deep breath.
And a detour they certainly have. Rielle did not lie about it and dragged the two with him across the entire school, opening from one door to another, showing what the room was all about and many more. For that, Y/n was on the brink of exhaustion as she cannot keep up with the said prince.
Taking a quick break after all of those walking, Y/n lean on the wall, sighing exasperatedly. There is nothing more annoying than to be forced in a castle for 3 hours straight, she barely could've felt her leg anymore. It feels like her ability to walk has been snatched away right in front of her.
"Sorry about Rielle." A voice interrupts her solitude, handing a bottle of water to her. Y/n look up to face Neige, eyes locking to one another and the blue simply smiles gently at her.
"Rielle isn't usually like that. But, he must've been excited to meet you and all that." Y/n take the bottle with a thankful nod, opening the lid and drinking it to her heart's content. The hydration she felt soon washed over, instantly recovering some of her long lost energy.
"He seems a bit too friendly. It hits some of my nerves."
"He has his own reason."
Y/n frowned hearing that. Why? What reason does Rielle exactly have to the point he seems awfully too friendly? It's not like she hates his personality for that. It's just… Remind her a lot of Cater. However, unlike the third year, Rielle doesn't have any obsession with magicam whatsoever. Instead, he's way too outgoing to the point it was shaddy.
Neige reaches out to pat her on the head, caressing it rather softly. "Please don't think too much of it. Rielle's intention isn't bad, it was just how he function most times."
Y/n look at Neige, the rival of Vil. Hypothetically speaking, she may or not understand the reason why he's much more popular at some point. Even to the fact, Vil hated his guts with all of his entire heart. He's too kind for his own good, and maybe he's too naive for this world at some point.
"Ah, I almost forgot. I have something to settle down in my dorm, I'll see you later, Y/n." Neige retreated his hand away, taking a few steps away and walked off to another direction, not forgetting to wave at her one last time.
Y/n waved back in return, standing there in her place before her feet moved on their own, walking in the empty hallway. Where she and Neige got separated from Rielle during this so-called detour of his.
She couldn't understand his reason and she thinks there will be no day where she'll know it. It might be someday, but she's quite sure that that day won't come since she won't be returning here for a long time or maybe forever. This might be the last and the first. And, Y/n prefer to make it as a memory she could keep without worrying it over.
~♪ ~♪ ~♪
Y/n stop on her track, a faint sense of lullaby rings through her ears. It sounds like the gentle breeze of the ocean, however it sounds like the vicious and cruel wave of the sea, crashing and devouring each sailor in the midst of the night. Creating a storm that consumes the death of others.
She looked outside the hallway, it was close but it seemed far. Y/n cannot describe it entirely, it felt calming and sorrowful at the same time. Whoever sings it is pitiful in her opinion. She planned on leaving it behind, she planned to turn a blind to it.
Importantly, she did not dare to interject…
". . ." Y/n often hates herself for this, whether it is her body, mind or even heart. Because she unconsciously ended up walking to the direction of the said source.
And, she hated herself more. When she met a merman by a pond, singing to himself with a dangerous tempting voice. Is he a siren or a merman? Y/n sighs to herself, shaking her head from left to right. The familiar bright orange color filled her sight, she really was lucky to find him in his merman form. Or maybe it is not. It depends on which she thought the best.
~♪ ~♪—
"What are you doing?" The lullaby turns into a loud shriek, it shows how Rielle didn't expect someone else's company at the end of school hour. He lifted his head to the back, pupils dilated in surprise.
"A, Ah, I, I mean, you, me… That…" Rielle cannot determine what to say, it was obvious that he's nervous for no reason. Or maybe there's a reason, and soon she might unravel it by a small bond.
"...I'm just singing?" There was a confused smile by the Royal merman. Rielle brows were also knitted, a clear sign such as the daylight.
"Let's sing along," Rielle looked at her a bit dumbfounded, mouth gape open and close, attention filled with only her. "You and me together. It's better to sing duo than solo."
A smile graced by her lips, kneeling down right in front of him, two pairs of indifferent eyes stare at one another. Perhaps, Y/n should be glad that she moved unknowingly.
●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○
"I give you my utmost respect for the capabilities to handle Rielle.” Y/n sweatdrop hearing that, Yasmin seems rather nonchalant about it too. It made her wonder at some point, does he care for his own friends at some point? He looks like that one friend of the group who's sarcastic and mean.
Rajah, the tiger right beside him purred, enjoying the pat it received after a long day of work. In which, they barely did anything. Yasmin turned his attention to the petite girl, staring at her rather blankly to the point that scared her. Can't he be a bit more expressive? It wouldn't hurt to do so. Maybe the smallest smile would've made him less intimidating.
"However, I pity you as well." Y/n flinched hearing that, whether he said that intentionally or not, it somehow hit a nerve in her system. There's no need to point it out, Yasmin and Rielle must've had a bad chemistry with one another.
"Rielle isn't that bad…"
"Oh, trust me, he's the worst of the worst of a menace." Y/n grimaced at his comment, pinpointing a possible fact that he must've despised Rielle a lot. The reason why? She wouldn't dare to question it and let it be. She may have some past experience in fixing or becoming the bridge of someone's relationship. But, she tried to stay low and prevent from getting caught up in this place as well.
Yasmin sighs, threading his hand through his hair, the soft and fluffy black hair easily swaying through in between. It tempted her to pat him in the head. And he tried her very best to refrain from doing so. The golden earrings he wore moved in the slightest, it followed the wind movement and it made her wonder whether that thing was heavy or not.
"Plus, he's intolerable. I'm more than surprised that the others still have the patience to deal with him." The bad blood between the two must've flowed for an everlasting eternity. And there's no stopping it someway or another. He's insufferable, it's the least thing Yasmin wants to admit in front of a guest. Yet, he ended up declaring it so.
Yasmin somewhat reminded her of someone. Y/n hate to admit, but it must've been having something to do with past connections. "How's Kalim? It's been awhile since I last visited him." The previous assumptions soon dissipate away, looking at the cousin of Kalim who's clearly the polar opposite.
"Kalim is… Kalim?" Even when she said something so awkward, Yasmin understood what she's trying to say here. "Not surprised, he has been like that for my entire life. Can't that guy be wary of someone? Especially Jamil? What would he do if he suddenly tried to kick him out or something?"
Y/n look at him in bewilderment, before gulping rather nervously. She cracked up a smile, trying to avoid the topic and what Yasmin might've done to Jamil if he had known the truth.
"Well, as far as I'm aware… Jamil has been doing a good job in keeping an eye out on Kalim. They seem to be… Rather close?" Yasmin looks at her, examining his expression to deduce if she's telling the truth or not. After a while, he shakes his head in disapproval.
"A snake is still a snake. So you better be careful as well, Y/n." The girl looked at Yasmin with an inexplicable expression, she tried to sort out what exactly she was feeling. Clearly, she felt quite disturbed by what he had said. However, there's something she's aware of.
It was a piece of advice, something she might've needed back in the past. As Yasmin has said, a snake will remain vicious on the ground. Keeping a low ground before striking ahead to its prey.
●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○
"Heres and… Aura, wasn't it?"
"Ah, I'm delighted you remember us. Lovely afternoon, Y/n. It's nice to see you again." Aura smiles fondly, matching Neige's personality of kindness. In comparison, Aura seems to be someone far more superior on behalf of kindness. He even looks like someone who's ready to fall asleep for eternity if possible.
On the other hand, Heres is quite the opposite of Aura. He had a well build body structure, he seems to be working out fairly a lot. Not only that, he seems to be surrounded by many people. In between admiration, friendly gesture or maybe respect, there's no other room to complain that he might've been quite popular around RSA.
Hold on, scratch that. The two people in front of her are quite popular in this school. And the friendship trope between the two is absolutely loveable. A strong friend and that one frail friend, it seems like a balanced friendship in her eyes. They're a refreshing sight to see after some time. Especially considering the duo in her own school is quite… Ehh, how does she say it? Chaotic bunch.
"You gain popularity around our school quickly, huh? It was skyrocketing really." Heres burst in a laughter, his booming loud voice echoed by their empty surrounding area. Aura only laughs silently, it's like the two are really the opposite of one another.
"I'm sure it must've been due to the fact you befriended Yasmin."
The other day, the two students could be seen right next to another. Hanging out and talking casually with one another. Even some RSA students were a bit surprised upon seeing how Rajah is much kinder and gentler to Y/n. With a matter of seconds, it became a hot topic around the school and now the talk of NRC Prefect is some sort of a trend.
"What do you think of Royal Sword Academy?" Aura asked, smiling at her before offering a bag of cookies to her. Y/n who sees the familiar sight of the round pastry, couldn't help but to take it with a beaming smile.
"Well, it's not that bad. Everyone around here is… Unique." Y/n exclaimed, opening the plastic bag and taking one cookie out, eating it.
What she had said truly came from her heart. Everyone here is unique in its own way and not everyone is good like she expected. Perhaps, the matter of kindness and evil depends on the said person. Even if most are filled with goodwill, there's still some with the personality of a rotten fruit.
For example, Yasmin who's rather blunt and mean to those around her. Aalis who seems intimidating at first and one glance. The two personalities prove that it wasn't the fact that this school was only filled with people who seemed good in the eyes of authorities. Rather, it could possibly be because of the qualification of the person.
"Isn't that right? So, what do you think of transferring here instead?" Aura looks at Heres with a frown, upset that he asked such a question to Y/n. He did not want her to feel burdened by the question and lied about her answer.
"Ignore this brute, Y/n. He don't know what he's talking about." Heres whipped his head to Aura, who emits the caring kind of presence. At the same time, he tried to give Heres the signal to let go of this topic and his pride of RSA by stepping on his feet.
"It's fine." Y/n shakes her head, smiling at the two dynamics between one another. They seem close, even yesterday they stuck close to each other. It reminds her of her friends back in NRC. Somehow, a part of her longed to be around them once again.
"If I'm being honest with you, I like it here. I sleep in a comfortable room, eat something delicious everyday and there's no trouble that gives me a headache. I didn't struggle here." Heres and Aura looks at Y/n, watching how her expression remains calm and adoring. Of course, in Aura's case, she didn't need to tell him what she's feeling because he knows.
"But, because of that I felt somewhat disturbed…" Y/n lower her head, reaching out to move her pony to the side. "For me, that struggle shows how much I've been through. Show how much I tried to be a part of something and belong somewhere."
Ace, Deuce and Grim the trio who first become her first group of friends and headache at the same time. The entire rollercoaster of events starts with their first meet up. Yet, it was such a memorable start. Enough for others to remember it always.
The others itself has left behind a certain impression on her. Thus, it led to where she is, where she has a principle of her situation and place. Where she had the correct answer for this kind of question.
"And this isn't my home."
RSA isn't her home. It's not the place where she becomes adjusted and adapted to her surroundings. It's not the place where every single thing will become some sort of chaos. This place may be fun, but alas it doesn't feel right. This place has a different kind of presence than her own. Y/n is clearly disturbed by this, hence she cannot wait to return.
Aura looked at her, who seemed to be sincere in everything she had said. He smiled, knowing that at first glance. Y/n's someone who's awkward and often feels out of place. Even at the ball yesterday is enough evidence to prove her sense of loneliness.
"I see…"
Heres looks like he was about to complain, until Aura nudge him by the arm. Glaring as a sign to keep his mouth shut, and he comply along way too quick. He sigh in disbelief, returning his attention back at her.
"I'm sure your friends would've been delighted to know that. Do remember, if you feel like going out once or twice, we'll welcome you with open arms."

"There really is no way you're not cognizant."
Such a sickening, innocent smile. A smile graced by female lips, the tip of her curvaceous red lips curving into a disheartened smile. She tried to play the victim, having to act as if she was the one who had been wronged the entire time. Hardly anyone would dare to oppose her plight.
"I need someone who's capable, someone who's trustworthy, someone… Someone I truly can depend on." It was as if talking were nothing more than a leisurely stroll through the park, with bright sapphire eyes fixed on the figure on the other end. It scanned through for any expression her interlocutor might have given. "I believe you're suitable for that position… Ran."
Ran cast a glance in her direction at the ever-so-loving Y/n, one of the well-known regulars that could ever coexist. A regular who was labeled as dangerous. "You see, I'm quite helpless. I'm nothing more than a burden to the team... Even Rachel could have possibly contributed more." The knitted brow, in which he presented was enough to bring a jolly feeling in her heart.
"It's funny to hear that from someone who's known to be the strongest regular on this floor." The chuckle he received was infuriating. He knew that the person in front of him could not be treated lightly. "Even the strongest could be the weakest." She snapped her finger delicately, cocking her head to the side as an item whirled in the air above her.
"I could persuade you that I was the weakest," she hinted, her voice delicate as a young lady's. "By displaying an item specifically designed to provide my Shinsu." It was a sphere of crystal-bright blue, an artifact preserved with an enormous amount of Shinsu, which she could have used.
Above all, Y/n conditions were the most absurd things within this tower. She was a regular who could not retain any single Shinsu and relied on the control of an unknown element whose existence was inexplicable to begin with. It was strange, frightening, and captivating. She appears to have her own law and rule that she must uphold, wielding her own authority that no one dares challenge. It truly was something that only she possessed, something that no one else could ever exhibit.
And Ran was well aware. He was well aware that she lacked the ability to conquer Shinsu. But she was a prodigy who had proven she could indeed live in this dreadful tower. A prodigy with nothing but a single sword that can dematerialize willfully and a vision with ice power — or, in her words, Cryo.
"May I inquire once more?" Ran looked at her, his brows furrowed in displeasure, realizing he was oppressed whether he liked it or not. "Khun Ran, my loving brother, would you be willing to help your poor sister?" Throughout it all, she was born as a pure-blooded manipulator, someone who would not hesitate to corner somebody with indecision or distress.
"I am helpless without someone around… What would've happened if I were to die?" What would occur? Many people would have gone berserk, destroying every corner of this tower. And the leader was likely to be none other than her devious brother, Khun Aguero Agnis.
After all, she is an entity with several powers and influences.
●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○
“Brother?”
Khun's attention was diverted to the woman who stood by the doorway, head tilted to the side in curiosity. The sapphire-blue male beckoned her closer, a miraculous smile on his lips. “Do you need something, Y/n?” The tone was sweet and full of affection, and the gentle gaze that pooled within those long-time pitiful eyes sparkled with various adoration.
Y/n looks back at him with a disheartened gaze, but she soon takes a few steps further to invade his personal space — something that Khun particularly did not mind coming from her. Kneeling down, she laid the top of her head on his lap. His palm reached out to caress her hair delicately. She thought that the least she could ever offer him was her assistance, but perhaps there is more than this.
“I have convinced Ran in your stead.” Khun did not utter a single word. In return, he hummed in acknowledgement and carefully threaded her long ponytail. Those moments between the two are transcendent and filled with serenity—the only comfort Y/N could ever provide by remaining by his side despite the obstacles in her path.
The fleeting sigh, he elicited filled her senses, and she knows what it means. Carrying the guilt and hatred that had accumulated in his heart, corrupting his thoughts and time, to do such a burdensome task on his own. It hurt her, and she believes someone like him shouldn’t have gone through such a past.
She flutters her long lashes close, enjoying the warmth he radiates from within his palm. “Brother, have you rested?” Y/n could feel his movement halt, indicating his hesitation that gnawed at the back of his mind. That was more than enough to confirm her suspicions, but who is to blame Khun for overworking himself to a certain degree?
Definitely not her. Not when she was aware of why he had gone through all of this trouble at once.
“I have a belief that Baam is out there, trying to survive this wretched tower.” Khun snorted upon hearing the last statement. He chuckled faintly and ruffled her hair, receiving a whine. “This tower isn’t that terrible.”He admits having piqued her interest as she looks up at him, who is sincerely smiling down at her.
“At least, I managed to meet you.”
Khun never experienced what it meant to be loved. He must have endured conflict and political powers during his childhood; never once did anyone offer a genuine form of love for him. It terrified him; the words "being loved" and "loving someone" had never occurred to him for what had happened. The betrayal that slashed open his heart and tore him apart leaves him with a bitter life lesson.
And Kamisato Y/n was the one who could heal him from all of his pain. He swore he would never let go of her, the light that shone down on his darkest path, the star that illuminated his life. He swore he would never let go of her—the light that shone down on his darkest path, the star that illuminated his life. To cherish her, to love her, and to care for her as a brother would do.
“Khun or not, you’re my one and only sister.” Khun leaned down and gave her a kiss on the top of her crown. This wretched tower is truly vicious. It was vicious enough to make someone as capable as him become an emotional mess.
Y/n understands the heavy burden he has to carry most of the time. She even understands his suffering, and that’s the reason why she won’t let him suffer alone — to face that traitorous woman all by himself. Despite their different identities, he had offered her a place to stay and a place to belong.
Khun Aguero Agnis might not be her biological brother, but he was the one who protected her all this time. And Y/n made a vow to herself. As the Shirasagi Himegimi, as the Kamisato, and above all, as Y/n, she vowed to find eternal happiness for her one and only brother.

Where Ortho got fed up by his brother timidness
Tumblr media
"Your brother."
"Ah, I understand the situatio— Huh?"
Ortho pupils dilated, shrinking upon the news. He watched at Y/n, who's cheeks rising up in vermilion red, awkwardly looking down at the ground. Ortho scanned her action from his perspective point of view, he even did further check on her heartbeat, professionally taking careful procedure to come up with a satisfying, absolute result.
"Your heart rate has accelerated up, surpassing the normal beat of pulse. My analyzation conclude, Y/n L/n had accommodate romantic feelings towar—"
"Yes, yes! So, please don't say it out loud, Ortho!" Y/n freak out, trying to silence the younger Shroud from spilling in any unnecessary information. Ortho take a moment to comprehend this entire flow of information and conversation, it was a sudden confession. Out of all days she could be honest to him, she picked this day, this time and this second.
"But… Please do me a favor!" Y/n clasps her hand together, connecting both of her palm, hand in a praying gesture. Ortho tilted his head, flaming hair dissipating by the edge into carbon oxygen. "It depends on the difficulties. However, I'm sure I can do everything when it comes to assistance!" The face that shows doubt and discomfort was evident by daylight, even Ortho didn't need to do a specific procedure to recapitulate it all.
"Ortho, I love you. I really do. You are like a sibling of mine that I cannot help but adore. So, please… On behalf of my distinguished pride… Please don't tell Idia!" Ortho could've sworn he feels his disk and circuit completely fried out. If it weren't for the fan by his system, he would've been broken by the spot.
"Eh? But, why? My calculation predicted that your confession has a 100% success rate." Y/n nip the lower of her lips, showing the sign of anxiety. There is no need to comfort her or even sweet talk her way out of this, not when her mind is preoccupied with plentiful daily scenarios.
"Well, he might not be interested… Especially since… This is me, we're talking about. Unlike others, I know how much he likes his solitude. I just can't… I can't picture him being interested in this kind of…Things you know?"
There's a saying, ignorance is bliss. Well, that is when that idiom did not fit right in this situation. And how wrong Y/n was, especially when it comes to this sort of situation.
●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○
"O, Ortho, what are you saying?! Don't tell me your disk went fried up?!"
"Brother, I'm absolutely fine I told you! And I said, ``You need to confess to Y/n nee-san by now!``"
Idia pulled the string of his hood hiding his best red pale complexity. "No, no, no! Unlike dating sims, this is real life, I cannot reload everything when I mess up—!! What if I make a fool out of myself instead?! What if she rejected me?! What then?!" Ortho sighs, finding the two similar in certain ways. Perhaps it is true, from the information he gathered, he found out that love makes someone into an utter fool. And it proves to be right.
"Again, must I remind you of your success rate? It's 100% perfect!"
"100 out of infinite!"
The young Shroud sighs once again, finding his brother rather helpless. He cannot let this slide, not when his best friend and brother had feelings for one another. He must find a way to be the one bridge that connects the two relationships. If his brother persisted on howling up in his room, avoiding Y/n for his own sake. Very well, he'll be the one to invite her over.
"Connecting… Calling Y/n L/n…" Idia freaked out, hearing that command escape Ortho voice box. "Orth—"
Hello?
"HIEEKK—!!!" It's over, it is absolutely over for Idia. He wishes to dig a hole for himself, digging up his own grave to the core of the earth. Perishing, annihilated, disappearing from the face of the earth, more than willingly to let the ground devour him to their satisfaction.
"Y/n nee-san! Would you mind coming over to Ignihyde dorm? My brother wants to play with you again!!" Idia shakes his head aggressively, trying to tell Ortho that is not the case at all. But, his little brother ignored his silent pleading, smiling brightly at him. On that moment, Idia know he should've been afraid of his own brother more than anything.
The sibling betrayal was real, it was a traumatic event.
Idia did? Well… I mean… Of course I'll be there! Give me a minute!
Hey, henchman! Where do you think you're going?! Hey!!
I'll be there in a few minutes! See you then!
The call ended up with a click, the last thing the two ever heard was the rushing footsteps. Idia and Ortho stand in the middle of the room, the intoxicant silence that devours the two forms away. Ortho has always been a gutsy individual, or Android for his matter. And that personality of his, feared by Idia to a certain level degree, the highest one possible.
"....You're welcome, big brother!!"
"No, no, no! What do you mean you're welcome!?"
There's no need to explain any further than this. How Ortho wasted every single time, coming up with different kinds of scenarios, excuses or even sessions for each of the two interactions. There's no lying that Idia and Y/n have been wasting an awful amount of unhealthy hang outs. It was all thanks to Ortho himself, who has planned everything up ahead.
Ignoring the complaint and lament that comes from Grim and her two best friends. Saying how much the two Shroud siblings have hogged out Y/n attention all by themselves. Especially the small monster.
"No! You can't bribe me with tuna cans anymore! I want my henchman back!!" Grim was fuming in anger, stomping on his feet while looking at Ortho who was hovering from the ground.
"I'm sorry, Grim-san. But I won't allow you to interrupt her moment with my brother!"
It is adorable, how the two fight over Y/n. Knowing how she herself came voluntarily on her own and not because Ortho persuaded and pleaded at her at all. No, absolutely not. There's no such thing as him doing the puppy dog eyes, playing the card of getting upset or any of those. He absolutely did not do that. At. All.
That's a lie, but hey he needs to convince himself that is the case. For the sake of his own ship to sail and big brother's bright future. If it means he must fight with one petty and angry cat, he'll be more than willing to do so. The risk he must take for the sake of world peace he assumes himself.
On the other hand, Idia and Y/n grew much closer than before. It was all thanks to Ortho and soon he will see the end of his hard work. He'll do more investigation and search for a place to confess, the gift and everything. He'll search it all down despite knowing his brother won't like what he's doing and once threatened to take the internet search privilege away from him. Absurd, but Idia cannot bring himself to do it by the end. So, it's likely enough an empty threat.
"...tuna cans… cuddle… hey… Ortho!!" The young Shroud snapped out from his short train of thoughts, returning his attention to Grim, who remained angry up until now.
"What is it, Grim-san?"
"—?! YOU BARELY LISTEN TO WHAT I SAID!! I TOLD YOU TO RETURN Y/N BACK ALREADY!!"
And with that, Ortho plan will continue on. Until the two come into an established relationship, far from platonic itself.

   »»————- ————-««
Lilia Vanrouge. Such an honorable name for a famous warrior among the fae. It is no more surprising, if you find their names one way or another in the myriad of familiar books, where those who played an important role in their lives are written down in history.
During those times, when war was going on, calamities—catastrophes swept through every realm of the kingdom. A war between two races that are not in accordance with their nature, a war to seek the safety of their own people. Without knowing, each war has its own consequences. And it involves an innocent life being taken right before a soldier's eyes.
Unfortunately, that was what prompted Lilia to put herself in front of the battlefield. The once beautiful meadows were quickly replaced by the smell of the dead being soaked and dirty, blood spilled all over the field, with eternal sorrow at the loss of an acquaintance. It was a horrible, intoxicating, excruciating experience.
"General! There's a report which proclaimed that the east forest has been claimed by the opposing side!" Well, that's certainly not bright news. A sigh was caused by Lilia's parted lips. Oh how he longed for a peaceful life, however, it was a very impossible miracle at any given time.
Reluctantly, he raised his arms in a tired motion, swinging them back and forth, driving the soldier away. The group he must be leading. Again."If you were so kind, do spare me the details, I will form a strategy in a moment. In return, give me a moment of solidarity and I will come back to state our next move."
Of course, he needed a break or a long term vacation after all this was over. Fatigue and regret settle every day, his fallen comrades must be witnessed, followed by the great responsibility that gnaws at his mind. The monsters that had disturbed his mentality had reappeared, messing up every plan he had made.
Enough was enough, he needed more time than he thought he would. With his mind in turmoil, there was no way he would form a strategy that could lead them to victory. No, he needed… He needed solitude, he needed a place where he could calm his mind. Even if it was only for a few seconds, he would immediately accept the offer.
And what else is more relaxing than a walk in the woods?
●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○
There are times where one stumbles upon a miracle. It was such a refreshing sight, a memory that will remain a fond one no matter the time and age has passed by. The general clearly remembered what had happened. The reflection of the moon that basked under the figure and the sword, the sharp edge of the blade near the skin of the figure. Contrary to their situation, she seemed calm, unaffected by Lilia's tending to be hostile all along.
"How brave you are. In fact, I have to commend such an act. Frankly, what is a Lady like you doing in the fae region?”
“Ah? Have you come to the conclusion that I violated the territorial kingdom?”
"Actually, yes. Yes, you simply do, my Lady."
A pair of e/c eyes stared straight ahead into his bloodshot eyes, it didn't show the slightest ill will or fear. Amazed, he is. After all, she boldly stepped into the limits of his kingdom, followed by the fact that she displayed a facade of innocence. Honestly, what other things could pique his interest?
"Are you very aware of where you are standing at this exact moment?" There was a mischievous smile on her lips, h/c's hair cleverly passed through the night breeze. The image of a girl who meets the exact embodiment of grace. And that would be the case, if it weren't for her eyes gleaming with mischief.
"Would you believe me if I said no?" His reaction alone was enough to give her the answer he needed. A flabbergasted expression, it was priceless in his opinion, how he seemed to have such distrust of her. "It's possible, but it's unlikely."
"I guess I'm a rare matter." How outspoken she was. Her straightforward candor and fierce personality began to preoccupy his mind within moments. The aura in which she radiated, somehow reminded him of an old friend he had reunited with. Although, it was a fact that the two of them were just strangers to each other.
Lilia couldn't be sure what caught him off guard. His defensive stance dropped drastically, causing him to return his sword to its place. The piercing silence, moments of silence, and gazes reciprocated. It was enough to pull a smirk at the corners of her lips.
“Have you come to a realization that my words are true?”
“No, I couldn't bring myself to realize so.” She puffed out her cheeks, eyes narrowed whilst keeping an eye contact with the feared general.
"Truly, your appearance isn't bad at all. It might even exceed a standard of normality, but your norm of distrusting a Lady's words is extremely rotten." Okay, to be honest, his statement made one of his eyebrows pull up, a look full of disbelief where he was questioning the meaning of her words.
“Pardon?”
However, she bluntly ignored him, her eyes fixed from the top of her head to her feet, observing him like he was a subject to be closely watched. She pondered for a while, until at last, her lips parted slightly. "Too bad. If you had shorter hair than your long hair, I might have fallen a bit."
Lilia chuckled at that. "What are you implying, my Lady? Surely you are not making fun of my long hair, are you?" The mysterious girl shook her head with a mischievous smile on her soft lips. "I couldn't have done something so absurd, could I? I didn't want a sword tip, where it would be beside my neck."
"No, I swear that I will never do it again on behalf of my descendants. Even though you are the enemy of the fae, a human." Y/n in response, smirked at his swearing declaration. "Has anyone here said that I'm a human?" Lilia blinked uncontrollably at her words, staring at her as if the information given to him was just a lie.
“Don't be so dumbfounded. I might have a human appearance, though that doesn't make me one, does it?’ The corners of her lips curved into a sincere smile. It was more than enough to make his heart beat faster every second.
This is serious, very, very serious. There's no way he, a general who is notorious in the field, melts just because of the presence of one woman, right? Come to think of it, he wasn't someone who was so desperate for a lover. In fact, many women from a respectable family were happy to be his fiancee from the start. However, compared to all of them with elegant appearances and the worldly beauty that was available to them, there was something about her that made her slightly different.
If you look closely from his point of view, she does have a pretty innocent face with a pair of cheeks screaming to 'pinch me'. Her hair flows wavy in the night breeze, along with the shimmer of the moon embracing her figure… How could Lilia describe it? There were so many words in a dictionary, there were millions of hymns he had heard, but none of them fit the label.
“Y/n L/n.” She said it with a smile full of mischief and indescribable sparkling eyes. Before Lilia could ask once more, Y/n, or who she introduced herself to, crossed her arms in front of her chest. "That is my name, O soldier. Isn't that something so easy for you to understand?"
"Do you understand what all this means if you give me your name?" Lilia asked, her mouth finally forming a small smile, following an aura filled with joy. Compared to the rotten feeling he had when he was on the field, for some reason, he was entirely melted by her presence.
"Should I succumb to fear just because of the existence of such a pitiful young man?" With that, her eyes widened slightly, looking at the one who boldly said it all. However, there was not the slightest expression where he felt insulted. "A young man? You can't possibly think of this general as an ageless person, can you?" Y/n just hummed a little hearing it, looking at the taller fae compared to her.
"You'd be offended if I called you old, wouldn't you?" Lilia couldn't do anything more than a nod of approval. Y/n took a few steps forward, holding his hand which in the end made his tense up with surprise.
"So? Would you mind introducing yourself?"
“Lilia Vanrouge. It is a pleasure to be in your presence, my Lady.”
"Alright, Lia! Let's go to the interior of the forest, looking for a lasting peace for both of us." And on that very day, Lilia found something. He found a glimmer of hope in his life. His hands bound by death, stained with bloodshed, are lifted up by her, who offers a place full of the light of life.

Memory... is the most beautiful thing, isn't it?
"Wait... I can..."
Every incident and story that has been immortalized, will always be remembered in our memories.
"I didn't... Knew that..."
Truly, everything that happened, will forever be remembered and replayed. Hence, how does it all end in such a gruesome end?
Lilia remembered with certainty, memories filled with joy, exciting moments along with feelings that were slowly smothered by fear. Wasn't it, a few days ago he had just spent one of those moments where they enjoyed a dessert together? Where is her smiling face with her brilliance, shining on his dark and shattered world?
At that very second, at that very moment, he could still feel the burning heat that always appeared on his face. Somehow, slowly, this General was completely controlled in the palm of her hand. She had all control over himself, even he, who should be able to think logically, was made a fool just for her.
However, it will all come to an end. The sparks of her e/c eyes disappeared as time passed, her body stiffened, standing right where she was, drowned by the sight before her. And on the opposite side, stood Lilia, fear clinging to his face, a sword stained with blood splattered on his uniform.
Y/n lips parted open, but there’s no words that manage to be uttered out. She was speechless, stupefied and frightened. Ignoring the screams and havoc in the background, she continued to stare ahead, a glint of betrayal in her eyes. And that was enough to make Lilia rush into her form.
“My Lady, my Dear... I’ve no... I didn’t know this place was your hometown... You never told me–” There was a hint of desperation in his tone, a hoarse and trembling voice behind the vile image. “Because it is not...” If possible. Lilia would’ve happily cheered internally, holding her close and muttering out how relieved he is to hear that.
But, it’s completely a different story with her crestfallen expression. “But... The place where you are currently standing... The home you just demolished and the lady you just killed... She’s the one who took me in when no one was around for me... The one who sheltered me and fed me...” Have Lilia filled with such remorse? Has he ever felt his heart clenched in pain?
He didn't mean to. Rather... He had to, because most of the tasks had been delegated to him. The task in which he must lead the end of this bloody struggle.
“General!” A loud shout was aimed right at Lilia. He gritted his teeth, lowering his head. What should he do at this critical time? He had an army he had to lead, and on the other hand, he had to explain himself, he had to be right by Y/n's side. He didn't want to leave her but… The responsibility that weighed on him continued to eat him up slowly. What should he do–
“Go.” Before he could respond, Y/n took his hand that gripped her shoulder tightly. It was as if he had a fear of losing her to the point he can’t help but feel devastated. She intertwined their hands together, causing Lilia to raise his head involuntarily. Those deep red eyes stared straight ahead at the e/c filled with agony.
“You have obligations to settle, don't you? Go forward, continue on to lead your people to victory.” It was hard, Lilia knew how her eyes shone in sorrow. He knew how he was suffering right now, how she felt as if her world had been completely shattered right in front of her.
“...It might be hard, if we encounter each other again.” The cries of his soldiers looking for their general were deafening, all attention earnestly by her voice only. “Especially with the current time we’re living in.” Y/n said, looking at their hands that fit with each other, filling the gaps that seemed empty.
“Hence, we’ll see each other again when things settle down... And when I've entirely moved on from this incident.”
“...In short...”
“Hmh, see you again, Lia.” On that very day, two people separated from each other's side. Waiting for tomorrow where the two can be reunited by fate.
●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○
"Father?"
"Oh? Silver, what's wrong?" Silver rubbed the back of his neck, the aurora's eyes diverted to look elsewhere, away from his proclaimed father. "There's... Something I wanted to ask you." In response, Lilia hummed, letting her continue her words.
"Since orientation... You've been keeping an eye on Prefect Ramshackle... Why?" Lilia blinked a few times, her short hair swaying in the breeze. He was more than surprised to learn that Silver was keeping an eye on him.
“Fufufu, curious now, right?” Lilia chuckled in response, looking up at the taller figure with a smile. “Well, she reminds me of an adorable bunny, surrounded by predators and waiting to be eaten. I couldn't help myself but felt the need to protect her from any wrongdoing.” He crossed his arms, explaining his reasoning very confidently.
“Besides, she reminds me of an old promise.” That caught Silver's attention, looking at Lilia in surprise.
“Old promise…? What kind?"
“That's for me to know and you to find out~” Silver knew, if Lilia said it, then there was nothing else he could know. Even so, he sometimes found him looking at her with deep affection and love.
Silver doesn't even really understand. If he really has one deep feeling, shouldn't he be trying to get close to her? But, why would he do the opposite? He watched her from a distance, but he also kept his distance from her. It was like Lilia was afraid that if they interacted with each other everything would fall apart between them in an instant.
"That's right, Silver, don't you have a remedy to do with Kalim?"
"...Ah!"
“Fufufu, run along now, you mustn’t keep him waiting for more than scheduled.” Silver looks at Lilia, before nodding a bit too obediently. He turned around and rushed out to meet Kalim at the location. The fae could’ve only hoped he won’t fall asleep during those remedies from Prof. Crewel, which is quite unlikely.
The courtyard seems awfully empty during this time. Of course, Lilia couldn’t blame it, considering the fact school hours just end. The wind gently caressed his hair, with silence accompanying him. It was only at times like this that he could think back on everything that had happened and his feelings.Although it can't be equated with her existence.
Several centuries had passed, the wars fought in the past were finally won and peace was reunited between the two races. However, the whereabouts of her that he had always been looking for could not be found. He spent so much of his life traveling from one place to another, visiting other parts of the world and even studying various kinds of knowledge. However, none of them give a clue to her whereabouts.
In the end, he just let time pass, leaving his heart filled with emptiness. He thought that it was the end of him. The ending where they had to part for good, ended with the uproar of an unexpected event, he didn't want their separation to be filled with betrayal and guilt on the other side.
And just imagine how happy he was, seeing such a familiar figure in the new student orientation. Y/n looked the same as the last time she remembered. Her h/c hair, and e/c eyes sparkled with life and determination. He remembered that cheerful expression with certainty, due to the time and the sweetest moments that were shared between each other.
Only, he couldn't get close. For some reason, his instincts immediately told him to stay away. It was probably because he remembered exactly what she had last told him. They should not meet, if the situation has not returned to its original state and if she has not fully moved on from the events that have occurred.
"Would've thought even after all that time you kept my advice by heart. Seems like you're dying to make me fall for you?" Lilia's eyes blew wide in surprise, and in an instant, he turned around. That smile… That voice…And that figure… He remembered it by heart.
She pointed towards his hair, smiling genuinely. "Short hair suits you after all." His heart starts to pick up the pace, beating up uncontrollably in excitement and joy. "...My... Dear?" He never thought, he would've met her once more in this place. Out of all places, a prestigious school ended up being the place where they'll include their reunion.
'Hmh, see you again, Lia.'
"I'm happy to see you again, Lia."
Ah, that nickname she has given her, the way his name rolled out her tongue… He never noticed this beforehand but, he truly became a fool for her.
Y/n L/n has entirely claimed the heart of Lilia Vanrouge. Forever and always, it will longed for her presence and affection.

"Denied."
"Very well, let the test begi— Pardon me?"
"Have you not heard?" A face that resembles disappointment, much more unamused in the slightest, stares ahead at the figure that reminds her of a rabbit. "I precisely denied your benevolence offer. But I must admit, your proposal is much worse than the new upcoming light novel I preview." A female voice filled with such high authority retorted back without hesitation.
She crossed her arms all together, a spark of disinterest evident by how she stared ahead at him. With that, Headon is aware that this irregular in front of him will be much harder to persuade. Sadly enough, that's something that related to his job.
The end of his staff pointed at her direction, a pair of eyes staring ahead at her own. "Are you truly going to miss out the chance? Everything will be given to you once you reach the top of the tow—" It was quite pitiful how much he tried to convince her. Because in a matter of seconds, she's quick to rebuke his words. "I've a shrine to take care of. Especially I cannot leave behind my publishing house without my supervision."
Ah, Headon has almost forgotten this fact alone. The girl in front of him, isn't some random irregular that has been given the chance. She's an important figure outside of this tower. Y/n L/n or the well known, Guiji of the Narukami Shrine. Being a priestess is one of her jobs whilst the other is specifically becoming the owner of Y/n publishing house. Of course, it would've been much more of a hindrance if she took another matter inside her hand.
"And, you're quite a nitpicking one, aren't you? The mere fact how persistent you are and how ridiculous your way of summoning me here without any further notice. You don't think I'll go along with whatever you offer me, do you?" As per usual, the undeniable beauty of the Narukami shrine, is quite a cynical person within nature.
Her long hair that tied by the end, swayed to the side at the awful silence. Honestly, Headon cannot deal with such a person. Especially one with a hidden personality. From the sight of her hair alone, is enough to confirm his suspicion on how she's a Kitsune. In the first place, such beings always had a high deity, only the Gods could handle them and their sly personality cannot be manhandled.
"I see... So, in the end, you're willing to skip such an opportunity that everyone is chasing after?" She's aware of what she might miss. Even so, she has made up her mind and the specific reason why.
"It's bothersome." Y/n say so—a bit nonchalantly and preferably way too blunt.
"What a shame... To begin with, you don't have a choice." Her pupils dilated in surprise the moment she felt her body much lighter than usual. The sight of sharp canine teeth, a smirk was completely on Headon's expression.
"Welcome to the Tower of God."
●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○
Y/n cannot help this situation at all. By the end of the day, it was obvious how she was forced to do something—She was kidnapped. Her ear twitched briefly, even if she rarely showed any other kind of emotion, it was obvious how annoyed she was. From the way she stands, the aura she spreads and the way her face sulken.
"I prefer to enjoy some fried tofu and read one of the latest trending light novels than doing something such as bloodshed." Her arms remain folded, eyes scanning across the field—A vast golden field, where it seems to be spilled with a bloody fight. Due to a certain announcement a few moments ago.
"Shall I find a way to leave this place? I'll surely leave a lasting impression of my wrath if I remain here." At last, she departed away from the spot she's standing by idly, walking further in front of the field without knowing the precise location.
Well, it was quite a hardship she must go through, such as avoiding and dodging unnecessary attacks she's forced to be engaged in.
"Hah... My calculations in fact are true. It was a bothersome journey." The paper by the Gohei wand by her wand, following the rhythm of the wind. Sesshou Sakura was presented by, with the shape of a spirit fox, strucking down one more regular with a thunder, mercilessly.
Gracefully, she raised her hand up as the Gohei wand slowly disintegrated away to golden particles, turning into a Verify Kagura catalyst that soon enough trailed behind her. Her heels pressing against the ground, leaving behind a trail of footsteps. She did not once fear the thought of being attacked, she has been ambushed for quite some time now, lo and behold she remains as the winner.
Well, of course, she's the pride of Narukami shrine, she cannot lose over some pesky regular—
"Oya?" Y/n come into a halt, appearing by an open field, stumbling across plenty of figures at once. The sight of an uproarious alligator somehow mused her to such an extent.
"My, I never would've thought a pet could take their master place as a candidate." Y/n uttered out, smiling at the taller form of a monster with hidden intentions.
"HAH?! WHO ARE YOU CALLING A PET, YOU TURTLE!"
"Fufufu, how amusing, it talks as well. May I know the name of this alligator?" She points out toward him, turning her attention to a both male that seems flabbergasted by her appearance. "You have no clue? Well, that's a pity— Oh my."
Considering how her Sesshou Sakura is an instantaneous ability, she warped behind, dodging the incoming spear that slammed at her position. "And it has quite the temper. Well, he's one misbehaving pet." She swiftly dodge another attack, a purple thunder strike down his spear, which results in it clashing against the spark.
"THE GREAT RAK WRAITHRAISER ISN'T A PET!!" Truth to be told, with how easy he seems to be filled up, Y/n cannot help but chuckled in delight. At last, something worth the trouble.
"I see... Well, O' great Wraithraiser, I'll be taking these two pitiful ones with me." Rak comically blink in surprise, seeing the empty spot of the once used to be priestess position. When he turns around where the voice is coming from, all he sees is his prey running away with her holding both of their hands.
"YOU TURTLES!! COME BACK HERE!!"

For what seems to be like eternity, the chasing game remains, even if it's quite easy to outrun the so-called great one. Y/n cannot help but burst into a small fit of laughter, her hand unconsciously swaying in front of her face, a habit she developed whenever she find things amusing.
"That's quite a story. I wonder why exactly Rak seems obsessed with fighting and it turns out to be over one silly weapon?" Khun furrowed his brow, crossing his arms across his chest, looking at the fox lady in front of her.
"It's not a silly weapon. It's one of th—"
"Twelve months whatever it is supposed to be? I'm very much aware." Y/n cut his words of—A smile filled with innocence radiating from her, even if it is quite contradictory.
"However..." She diverted her attention to Baam, who seemed quite fidgety and timid under her presence. Without giving him a head start, she leaned close, smiling with a calculactive gaze.
"—!!"
"Going as far as to keep someone's belongings even if it risked your life... You're quite courageous." For a moment, Baam seems to be malfunctioning, especially with the close distance between the two of them. He doesn't know how to act with her around, the only female she's used to being around is Rachel. So the sudden appearance of another one, makes him a bit restless and shy.
"No need to fret, I do not bite, Baam." She cackled out, leaning away after saying so. The blush by his face was enough to cover his entire face. And Khun cannot tell whether to feel pity or another kind of emotion.
"Although, we have another matter that needs to be finished." And right on cue, the announcement has started all over again.
It was a simple task this time around. Form a team in between three or four. Well, that's what Y/n wished to assume, considering she did not want to leave behind a proper playthings by the back of a void. Baam is easy to be messed around and even a fool, it was a bit concerning how truthful he is. Therefore, maybe she'll keep an eye on him instead. That does not mean he's safe from the teasing.
Khun, on the other hand, are quite inexpressible. He tends to show how much of a considerate person he is, calculating each and every action he made. How can she know this in a brief moment of interaction? It was quite easy, a fellow cunning kind would immediately be aware of their own races, or to be precise, their type of people. So, Y/n cannot blame if at this very moment, he's staring ahead her with a frown, knowing precisely of her enigmatic nature.
And last but not least, Rak. Ah, she cannot leave him behind for sure. She'll take him with their team one way or another. Even if she must be forced to go through an interrogation or such, she's more than willingly to commit such an obstacle. Since a short tempered one, are the most fun type to fool around. And she ought to know the fun she might commit during her time here.

Everything ended up going a bit too well. Or it's just because of how sly and cunning she was to persuade a narrow minded administrator. Well, the worrisome part is how this time is entirely made for her own entertainment, mostly. Especially how she often teases Rak from left to right, infuriating the poor alligator and giving miles of headache towards Khun.
"I'm quite sure you must've bribed that administrator back there." Y/n look at Khun with an obvious fake offended expression. "Oh? What has this fox done to you to the point you accuse her of such things?" The two of them have their own stare down, sharing the same mindset considering their twin-like personality.
“Finally! I gotcha! I will kill you!”
Well, there would be much more of a solidarity silence if it weren't for the interruption of a yelling. “Look what you did to my arm!” From the look of it, it's a fight that is bound to happen and not be prevented.
“How are you going to make up for this? Huh!” Their bickering continued, even though someone tried to break it up but neither of them seemed to want to stop.
“They... They seem to be fighting as well during the break, Mr. Khun, Ms. Y/n. Shouldn’t we stop them?”
“Leave’em. They will be stopped soon.” Khun spoke, looking to the other side of the room, sighing a bit.
“Did you not understand? No fighting during break time.” A new voice came from nowhere, combined with the sound of footsteps coming towards the crime scene.
“You didn’t take my words seriously... Did you, regulars?” Hence, the furious man looked over his direction, getting more angry by the sudden interruption.
Y/n smiled faintly as he was called a cricket by the madman. Unfortunately, what he said was most likely true. All it takes is a pair of antennas. If thought about properly, these images can appear in her mind.
The Ranker, as he introduces himself, can break up the argument. It was also only because of his authority as a Ranker. One who had reached the apex of the vile tower. However, only a small number of people can climb to the end of the tower. Although Rankers actually only reach a certain point in this tower.
For both Baam and Y/n sake, Khun fulfills their knowledge upon what exactly is the Ranker and why they're very much feared or respected. It piqued her interest, but not for long. Instead, what peak her interest furthermore is the mention of pretest.
By simply observing Leroro, she knew exactly what was on the man's mind. He casually continued a small explanation before extending his hand. Immediately, waves of shinsu appeared suddenly. Pushing each participant further back, whereas some tried to survive but in the end they were forced to follow the will of the change.
Finally, everything stopped, the waves turned into a wall that became a barrier for both places. This wall is none other than Shinsu. A substance native to lifeforms within the Tower that’s what Shinsu is all about. For all of living memory, and likely prior to it, Shinsu has been an integral part of the Tower.
Strong or weak, ranker, regular, or otherwise, if you run out of Shinsu you will die. It fulfills the role of life energy for organisms within the tower, as well as acting in lieu of oxygen for breathing. Hence, this Shinsu had the most important role when it comes to living in this tower. The higher you get, the more you need to get used to the Shinsu.
Arbitrarily, Lero ro ordered the regulars to pass through the barrier. For those whose group couldn't get to the other side as a whole, then legally the team failed. Therefore, many participants started to complain about how ridiculous and even absurd this pretest is. At the same time, Lero ro started to explain everything about this tower's whole purpose.
Luck is the essence of the tower. If you want to go up, the only thing that can help you is how much your lucky star can help. So, all efforts are meaningless if they are not combined with luck. At least, in the eyes of most people.
“Damn it... He’s saying whatever he wants...” Khun spoke in an annoyed tone. This is all completely unreasonable. This pre-test is not about whether it is fair or not. As long as you can control your own Shinsu, then everything will run smoothly.
Khun looked here and there, looking for the one person who was originally in their circle of conversation. Surprisingly, he's nowhere to be found. Y/n chuckled at the sight of a clueless him, helplessly looking around as if a mother hen had lost her chick.
"Ah, Khun, if you're looking for Baam by any chance..." There was a proud tone by her way of talking, as Y/n pointed towards the other side of the barrier. "He certainly is a fresh change of air."
“Uhm... Sorry... Mr. Lero ro...” His familiar voice startled Khun. With his eyes wide, he was astonished. Baam himself felt a little confused about the whole incident.
“Um... I-I don’t know why, but I wasn't pushed out...” Talk about luck.
“Um... To take the test... I should probably go out and come back in, right?”
Lero ro did not answer anything. All he did was stare intently at Baam, who was mostly clueless. He began to feel nervousness slowly rising to the crown of his throat. Without realizing it, he immediately apologized for his mistake that never existed at all. Baam turned around, to re-enter the other side.
“No, Mr. Bam. You’re in.” Hearing this, Baam returned to face the instructor who was standing with a sweet smile. He chuckled as he said, “I think I made a mistake, but... That is also part of your luck.”
“You passed, Mr. Bam.”
Hearing that statement, made Baam breathe a sigh of relief. Some people started to complain about it, their anger peaked seeing the helpless looking boy get away so easily. Just because of such impossible luck.
Y/n paid no mind to it, preferring to deal with her own problem as time passes by. It would've seemed like one certain female had taken the first initiative to cross to the other side. As for her team, they remained a bit behind there, seemingly wondering something with their own preoccupied mind.
Even if she fell into a moment of solitude, she heard something filled with mocking. A voice that sounds malicious that makes the innocent, coy smile on her face go a tad wider. One of her arms crossed around, while the other were leaning on top, fingers dainty hovering around her jaw and lips.
"Hah, I never expected to hear an unpleasant sound of a dog." Khun snapped his attention to Y/n, who smiled tenderly, yet her eyes showed a sign of hostility. And that gaze is directed to one regular that seems to be insulting over Baam luck.
"Hah?! Who are you calling a dog?!' That same laughter, a faint, fleeting and mocking laughter. "Ah, some people intend to not know their place." She crossed her arm together, eyes becoming droopy and the sight of a forced smile were enough to bring chills down one spine.
"Now, how must I discipline you?"
●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○
Y/n lifted a brow by the question, leaning the side of her shoulder by the wall beside her. "Yes, I'm very much a fox. Why do you ask?"
Baam chuckled nervously, fumbling around with his fingers while avoiding her gaze. If there's someone that he cannot react the same way as he did with Rachel, it is Y/n. Every time, he would often feel his heart thumping rapidly, feeling it about to burst anytime soon. And the endless teasing did not help the poor boy.
"A, Ah well... Aside from your ears, everything else pretty much looks like... Erm, human to me... So, I was wondering... If you're truly one or not..." By each passing second, his voice goes lower and lower, head unbeknown following along.
"In conclusion... You're curious about my fox form, yes?" Baam immediately flinches upon being figured out, he swings his hand back and forth, facing a blushing mess due to the embarrassment that is eating him up.
"N, NO!! I, I mean yes, b, but it's maybe?? I, I was just curious and y, you seems like you're uncomfortable with it so—"
Baam breath hitched when he felt a soft pair of hands, cupping his face together. The brunette tried to comprehend what's currently happening, before resulting for him to be a flustered mess in a matter of seconds by the close proximity.
"Now, now, Baam~ Calm down, I won't understand you if you speak such gibberish words." The two of them exchange eye contact, until Baam obediently nodded at her. "Good boy." She smiles down at his timid figure.
"Now let me repeat myself… You want to see my fox form, yes?" Once again, he nodded meekly, looking to the side which is undeniably adorable in her point of view.
"Very well, I'll show you." Baam eyes lits up instantly when she says so, missing the way her eyes glistening in complete mischief. Alas, he was caught off guard when she leaned close to his ear, teasing Baam further.
"How about you dream of me and see my fox form there?"
●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○
"You've been paying too much attention to Baam lately. You even spoiled him to such an extent." Khun complained his lament out, which received a teasing stare from Y/n.
"You could've said you are also seeking out for my time and affection. I would've spared some time for you if that's truly the case." The bluenette grumbled under his breath, pressing the button by the vending machine.
"If the only person that seeks out for my attention is you." He confidently says so, picking up a can of cold drinks that he bought from the vending machine. Getting another one to hand her one, not forgetting the fact that she's around.
"How so?" Y/n prevents herself from doing anything at this moment, letting Khun have his way around her.
Khun rolled his eyes, opened the lid and chugged the drink down. He sighs in content once the drink is finished, throwing the empty can by the trash can. He shoved his hand inside his pocket, making his way close to her.
The two of them stand right in front of each other, with Y/n holding a can of sweet sakura soda both hands, looking at him in curiosity. "Just because you're sly doesn't mean I won't notice." He remarked, and that alone, amused her.
"Notice what?" Khun smirked in triumph, leaning close to her face. "That you've been keeping an eye on me. In the end, you must admit I'm quite a charmer, right? And here you say, you hate my attitude." He mocked her, cobalt blue eyes staring ahead at her own pair of eyes.
Well, she has allowed him to have his own fun. Maybe she needs to switch things up. Her finger scraped the lid by the can, smiling at him without any intention of backing away.
"I've heard a long time tale, that usually, some people would go to such an extent as ganging up on someone because they secretly like them." She narrowed her eyes, looking at Khun who seemed surprised all of the sudden.
"And a little birdie told me... Aguero has entirely whipped out for me." With that, his face flared up in surprise, he took a few steps back, mouth gaping open.
"That's false accusations!" Khun did not know for sure what made him a flustered mess. It was how she found out, or the fact she called him by his name. His name. Not his father's family name. Not his mother's family name. But his own name.
"Fufufu, your face isn't quite honest."
●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○
There was pure silence inside the room. The sounds of the air conditioner that turned on could be heard even from miles away at this point. Y/n look down to see a sizable plushie of Rak.
"...Pft— My, I never recalled ordering a travel size Rak on the internet." Hearing that, Rak irked. He was tempted to headbutted her, even when knowing his attempt was futile enough.
"WHO ARE YOU CALLING TRAVEL SIZE?!" She leisurely pointed at him, which caused his brain to go through a short circuited moment. Ah, here we go all over again, with the drama in between Y/n and Rak.
The alligator huffed a bit in anger, holding his mini size spear as well before making himself comfortable in the female room. She was puzzled on how he managed to shrink much more than his usual size. If he remains like this, he must brace for the endless amount of teasing she has prepared beforehand.
"Mind filling me with the details, tiny Rak?" He gruffed out in response, completely bummed out how he's much more tinier.
"You and that blue turtle are the same." Rak scoffed, crossing his arms all together while staring ahead at her with his red pupils. "Well, he's one of my people after all."
Rak looked at her a bit unamused and she answered with a plain shrug. "Well, are you going to sulk there or start telling me what happened?"
And so, Y/n sit by her bed, listening to the rambling alligator attentively. Understanding what got him so thrilled. It's a dumb excuse but, this is Rak who she's currently conversing with.
It was fun, because even when she didn't bother him around. She has become at least a great listener, or she's used to this due to the fact of people coming after her to do something. At this very point, she somewhat couldn't care less of what's happening outside the tower. Because right now, she has her own little group she must go with.
"Oi, fox turtle! Did you even listen?!"
"Yes, yes I did. And for the last time, Rak, I've told you that Fox and turtle are two different things."

"...Ah, that's indeed unfortunate."
That day, where she and Baam were proclaimed to be irregular, just became the start of an awful nightmare. Y/n fell silent upon hearing the news of Baam death. She won't admit it but she has grown attached to this small group of hers. Whether it's psychically, emotionally or even spiritually, the thought of losing one of them makes her mind disheveled in plenty of directions.
Khun looked at her with a frown, unlike the others, she's the only one who did not participate in the last test of this floor. It has something to do with the administration of hers or so on. It was unusual, to say at least. It's unlikely for her to be quiet. He's not used to this personality of hers, therefore he goes down on his knees, holding on to her hand.
". . ." Her eyes fall on his figure, seeing the determination by his eyes. "...It's not your fault for not being there." He caressed the back of her palm using his thumb, giving a sense of comfort.
"I know for sure, Baam wouldn't like it if he sees you like this." He chews the inside of his cheek, wondering whether he should spill the information he knows of. The betrayal and how Baam has rightfully fall into Rachel schemes
"Let's go up the tower... That's the only thing we could do in return." Y/n look at him with such an indescribable expression, he cannot tell what she's currently feeling aside from that guilt that seeps through her mischief facade. It was obvious how caring she was to those precious to her.
He knew that Y/n might go far as going through to solve this related kind of problem when it involves her dear one. This is why he falls hard for her. She may be a tease but the way she sees people in equal terms most of the time is enough to make him drawn towards her.
And he's not blind that his friend feels the same way. He could tell how Baam sees her as if she was the one who decorated the stars. As if she was the one that at first, has created the stars. And he knows, that's what exactly annoyed Rachel. Because with Y/n presence, even someone as claimed to be Baam stars, managed to be replaced over one first sight.
And for that, he knows what he must do. The best option for the team, for Baam, for them both and for her happiness and Joy. And Khun knows, if Baam were in his position, he would've done the same thing.
"Y/n, on the next floor... I must part ways with you. But I promise, in the end, everything will be fine."
And for now, the game of waiting and yearning for love will begin.

"My lady."
"Ah, pardon me, did you say something?" A pair of bright illuminating blue eyes flickered toward a pool of transparent green.
"Don't worry too much about it, my lady. All I did was to inform you of the snack I've prepared beforehand." Taken aback, she blinked profusely, noting through his words with the depths of her mind. However, it didn't take her long, as she replied with a soft and gentle laugh.
"Thank you, I appreciate your consideration." The male shook his head from left to right, disagreeing with what she had said. "It's the least I could do for you. You have been engrossed in work to the point it's been awhile since you took a breather." Her shoulders tensed, a bead of sweat trickled down her cheek. It was a fact that she, alone, was overworking herself.
Clearing her throat, she offers him a smile, albeit awkwardly. “I assure you once every work is over, I'll take a stroll by the town.” Even if it might turn out to be an empty promise, can anyone blame her for holding such a responsible epithet? The well-known shirasagi himegimi, a lady that strikes such a perfectionist life earnestly. If she were to back away from the expectation that upholds her, it might ruin the family name.
“Perhaps by that time, you wouldn’t mind joining me?” It was a sincere invitation, where she only seeks for an acquaintance or even a friend's company. “Certainly, I cannot decline my lady offer now, can i?” The way he expresses his feelings is mixed with hidden mischief, teasing her. After saying that, he received a charming faint laugh.
"Naturally." With one last check, the male smiled softly, shaking his head from left to right, eventually leaving her all by herself once more. The room that once was lit up by another presence was now cold, empty and hollow. The scribble of her quill was the only thing that became the source of sound. One of these days, she is definitely growing sick of it.
Time keeps on ticking, the day has turned night, the world keeps on revolting, as the only difference is the same position and activity she strives on. The snack that was given a few hours ago had run out, filling her empty stomach for now. But unfortunately, there is one thing that will be a hard pass challenge. The lure of sweet and lulling rest.
“Now that I finished this report...” Her lips separated open, a loud yawn escaped through.
“I could start analyzing this month's assurances...” She rested her head on her knuckle, reading the paper in her hand. Every writing and word became blurry once or twice, drowsiness began to attack. Somehow, even opening her eyes wide was a difficult mission to undertake.
“No... I must... Resist...” However, such things were never asked, because slowly, her head fell gently onto the table, one hand resting under her while the other fell to the side. Her shoulders rose and fell, gently. The devil's temptations finally overpowered her, as she drifted to another place, far from reality, and perhaps her own location.
●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○
A tickle of something very soft and gentle was grazing the sleeping figure. A frown replaced her once peaceful expression, feeling something, or rather the same thing, gently touching her cheek. To be sure, it brought her to consciousness.
As a signal, her eyes opened wide, the damp and hard ground was the only thing she could feel, she got up and rubbed the back of her head. "Did I fall asleep...—?" However, what caught her attention was not the view of her tatami floor. Instead, it was dirt, dry soil that cracked from place to place, along with golden grass that adorned the meadows.
"...Hah...?" Her lips opened and closed many times, if possible, her eyes wide enough to be ready to fall out.
This is not her house. To be precise, it was nowhere to be seen. A table decorated with lots of paper, quills and ink, and the mocking sound of a clock, tested her limitations. Is she sleepwalking? It's possible, but it's unlikely to happen. If she did, one of her servants or even her brother would see it and stop her from going any further. However, she was here — a beautiful meadow with golden grass, accompanied by a gentle breeze and a vast blue sky.
She pondered whether it was a futile dream trying to keep her sanity off the edge. Thus, she reached out to pinch her soft skin, receiving a yelp of pain. "I was hoping it would be a reverie... But instead, I'm experiencing pain." Biting her lower lip, she felt very depressed.
Perhaps, it could be some kind of lucid dream where your senses are on high alert? Possible, but unlikely to happen. Whatever kind of supernatural experience she was currently having, it had to be stopped. Nonetheless, it didn't leave enough of an impression on her, instead leading her into a state of extreme uncertainty and panic.
She had to think. What could be the trigger for any event that is currently rolling down the path of her life? Could it have something to do with the Shogunate? Was she able to transfer her possessions to people to unknown lands? Looking at her surroundings, there is no possible explanation that she was transferred to Liyue, right??
She kept pondering and contemplating, every theory and culprit had been carefully thought out. Nevertheless, nothing came to her mind.
"...It's no use... I don't have a definite clue." An exasperated sigh escaped her lips, she reached out to the handle where her sword might lie. A golden particle appeared, confirming her conclusion about her vision. It would look like it would still work fine.
A rustle behind her caught her attention, she quickly turned around, her sword appeared in her hand, the tip of the blade colliding with another metal. What she saw shocked her. Her breath hitched, pupils dilated at the sides while he was considered an intruder, visibly furrowing his brows at her hostility. Slowly, they lowered their blade, holding it lazily by their hand.
"Strange... I thought I was the only one." The interlocutor spoke, one hand holding what looked like a leather bag. However, there was one fatal error. She didn't understand what he was talking about, so she tilted her head in confusion. Seeing this, the interlocutor sighed, once again saying something to her; "Pocket, do you have it?"
But alas, their suspicion is enough to confirm this acknowledgement of hers. Taking something out of their leather bag, something that resembles a sphere and round — with the lifeless color of black. It hovered on top of their palm, slowly for sure, they extended their hand to give it to her. Still clueless, she pointed to herself, blinking for some time, awaiting for their validation. What she received is the only deep sigh, entirely amused and annoyed by her lack of knowledge. Lazily, they nodded their heads, showing a sign it was in fact, for her alone.
She hesitates for a moment, due to them being nothing but a stranger. This sphere could be anything that consists of explosives or so on, but somehow, she had the feeling it would be a different case from that. She reached out toward the sphere, the end of her finger grazing the orb gently as it started to shimmer, coming undone as it engulfed her form. But, the attack she awaits never comes, nothing happened to her. Again, she looks back at her interlocutor, confusion written across her face.
"Hah, I can't believe you don't have your own pocket... More importantly, the fact you don't understand the language without the pocket itself is absurd." Now, she could hear him loud and clear, she pointed out to him, entirely amazed. "Ah! I understand you now—"
"I could tell." She pressed her lips into a thin line, hearing the snide tone by their voice. Taking note of her silence, they shake their heads in return, trying to return to the first point they converse with her. They reached out to her pointing finger, lowering it down, resulting in her to grow embarrassed and restless.
"Be thankful I actually lend help. Now, you owe me a favor, and I'll take it right away." Before she could even retort back, they already beat her to it in a nonsensical question; "Are you coming from the main branch?" If possible, her expression grew comical, as she tilted her head with a loading mark right on top of her head.
"No? Are you an outcast as well then?" Her brain went short circuit, taking a while to register and deciphering their words into her mind.
"No...?" A following silence soon crashed on both figures. Not knowing exactly what she did wrCoong, she sweat drops heavily, looking to the side as she tends to lock herself away from socializing, and she, herself, is quite surprised by the current event.
The interlocutor reached out to mess their own bluenette hair, they inhaled deeply, and it resulted in their sigh to be as equal as how much they took in the oxygen. "You don't need to be wary of spilling information, we're both coming from the same place either way." The same place? Could he possibly be another Kamisato? As far as she is aware, there's only her and her brother. Or there's a chance for it to be... An illegitimate child?
"Khun Aguero Agnes." He introduced himself, hands shoved inside his pocket, cobalt blue eyes staring right ahead at her. Ah, so he didn't come from the Kamisato clan. That alone is enough to bring her at ease.
She smiles kindly and rather, sweetly at his direction. "Kamisato Y/n, a pleasure to meet you, Khun." That piques his interests, he raises one of his brow, looking at her in bewilderment. "Khun Kamisato Y/n? Or Kamisato Khun Y/n?" She smiles — Yet, it seems to be much more forced to keep her image.
"Just, Kamisato Y/n. There are some misconceptions here, I am not a part of your family on behalf of your information." How is he supposed to believe that when he's very much aware, that his family had the iconic appearance of blue hair and eyes. And, she very much likely fits the criteria.
"Listen, I understand that this tower is most likely to be something you need to be suspicious of, but hiding your-so-obvious identity won't help you anywhere." All of the sudden, Y/n shriek in surprise, feeling an arm that coils around her neck, practically dragging her out of force.
"As a fellow Khun, we must stick close especially when we're pretty much exiled away."
"Again, there's some misconceptions in this entire flow of a conversation!!" She tried to come up with validation. Needless to say, it was a futile attempt.
●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○
It has been quite some time ever since Y/n took a step inside this world. A world that works much more different than hers. At first, it was quite the trouble especially with the fact she is quite unknown to this place. Thankfully, she's not alone, ever since she stumbles upon Baam with Khun help, she feels much calmer knowing there is someone else who's clueless just like herself. Putting aside all of that light mockery and bullying from Khun, himself.
Other than that, this place has been treating her well. She could act as she desired, without needing to worry of the judgmental eyes from others and the clan itself. In this place, she felt much more alive and free. What's a bit troubling is her identity itself. Many mistaken her for Khun sister or siblings, keeping in mind that he sticks close by her side most of the time. It was hard to tell others about that matter, even when she already retell everything, they shrugged it off and still claimed her to be a Khun. And some even say, she could take it to her advantage.
Thought, certainly, she won't play along with it?
"—?!"
A blade lunges right past Hatz cheek, cutting through the skin efficiently. Momentarily, he tried to evened out his breathing, studying it from the rush of adrenaline. The sight of a composed sparring friend, enough to calm him down. If it were a battlefield, surely he would've lost.
"It's my loss." His sword has long gone, clashing against her blade previously before she swung it away. Much to his dismay, never once did he take her lightly. The two would fight on equal ground, without using any boost or even power. But, she always becomes the victor.
Y/n take a moment of solitude, dematerializing her blade away, turning to a form of golden particles before it hover behind her back. "Once again, my apologies if I hurt you in many ways. To begin with, I never intended to use my full abilit—" Hatz raised his hand, silencing her in one movement.
"It's fine. I'm the one who asks you to go all out." She looked at the cut by his left cheek, blood oozing out and rolled down to his chin. However, with one swift movement, he wiped it away using his thumbs as if it was nothing. She grimaces at the sight of blood smearing against his skin, reaching out to properly clean it.
Well, she tried to. "You heard him, he's the one who asked you to go all out, no need to feel bad." She felt an arm wrapping around her waist, head on top of her head. Hatz's expression immediately twisted to annoyance.
"What are you doing here, ugly earring?"
"Well, unlike you, I've a much more valid reason to be here. To take my sister away from an eye sore."
The two male exchange glare as she becomes their daily conflict once again. She sighs, knowing for sure that her sword has entirely dematerialized to the point Khun can hug her from behind. It was a well known fact that this annoying prick, the embodiment of Satan child itself, has a soft spot for her only. Perhaps, it could've been because of the genuine and sincere feeling she had gifted him, resulting in him claiming her as his sister whether anyone likes it or not. In particular, she did not mind, it felt as if her brother went along in this travel dimension of her.
"You can't hog her to yourself all the time now, can you?" Khun scoffed at hearing that. "What a shame, I can. I'm her brother."
"A self-proclaimed one." Again, the two exchange intensive glare, leading for Y/n to sweat drop from the rising tension. It was no lie that the two of them hit off like water and oil, always contradicting each other and trying to mend their way by themselves.
"I pity her for having a cunning brother like you. She's much more humble and kind, to the point she wouldn't dare to hurt a regular despite everything." Somehow, Khun snapped his finger at what Hatz said. A sly smile curled up from the edge of his lips, resulting for the male to be intrigued in what he said.
"That's right. But, no worries, I know my sister more than you. She can do the gaslighting and I could do the rest, simple." Hatz cannot believe what he was hearing at this moment. He looks at Y/n in confirmation, as she just shrugs in response, not giving the answer he exactly desires.
And of course, she would play along with it. After all, her nature fit right in within the family.
●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○
"Aguero, I'm on my way." Reporting her current status, Y/n dashed toward the empty field. After confirming the situation with Hatz and the others, she was prompted to return back to Khun's side. She heard it, the panic by his voice, someone entering his lighthouse, she heard it all by the communication that kept them informed of their situation.
Swiftly, she slid across the ground, making a sharp turn before continuing to run past everything. Everything went well, this final exam will run smoothly, is what she hopes to be. The only problem is some twist and perhaps a free loader by the team, even though she could tell how much of a bad news Rachel actually was. But, what can she do when Baam seems to hold her in a higher light itself?
"I'm closing in— Hiehk—?!" She forced her heels to dig down the ground, stopping her from possibly tackling down a hooded figure. She takes a sharp breath, exhaling them almost immediately. It was a close call, and she is aware of that.
"My apology, however, can you please be so thoughtful…" Her words trailed off, recalling critical memories. None of the regulars that participated in this last test use a light brown cloak. She furrowed her brow, one hand reaching out to her side. "To perhaps... Move aside—"
"I find it unnecessary to engage in a fight with me." Her body stiffened, hand hovering by the air. The stranger takes off his hood, revealing a striking and similar appearance such as her and Khun.
"But, I must admit, I didn't expect to see another one."
"I'm not a Khu—"
"Sure you aren't." He's much more infuriating than Khun himself. Even he had at least some time to listen to her explanation one way or another. But, he seems to be someone who's much more stubborn and has another goal set in mind.
"At the very least, now I understand why he didn't even want to meet Maria." Y/n remain silent, knowing who exactly he's talking about. He takes a few steps close, tapping her forehead. "Because he found a replacement within a short span." She looked at him confused, reaching out to hold her own forehead.
"Khun Hachuling, remember that." Leisurely, he walked away, acting a bit too carefree to her liking. Especially when he struck a possible threat a few minutes ago. But, all thoughts immediately vanished away, recalling an important matter.
"Ah! Aguero!"
The female returns back to the same pace of speed. Adjusting to a new life whereas she had been transferred in. It may seem a bit too peaceful for a moment. All she needs is to await the downfall of that peace and short-term joy.

Hi! don't know if I'm doing this correctly since this is my first time sending if not feel free to ignore but can I request Raiden shogun reader but where she met data eduan? Since both of them control lightning and stuff I'm curious What would be there interaction? Thank you very much!!
Are We Matching Yet?
Where a coincidence leads into something much more than that
Tumblr media
“...Ho-oh?”
Cobalt blue eyes, sparking in a light blue color. He stares intently ahead, to one particular regular who reaches this secret floor. The two exchanged eye contact, inexpressive upon the sight of each other. That is when Eduan cracked up a grin, arm crossed and his long high ponytail swerving by the air.
What’s far more unique itself, is the mere fact alone of her gradient hair, on par with her electrifying eyes. Eduan hates to admit all of this, unfortunately what lies in front of him is much more complicated than his denial. Switching his gaze to one of his data children. Maschenny straightened her back, feeling the lingering gaze of her father.
“Where did you find her?” The young data pondered, taking a quick glance to the silent female.
"To be precise, I did not find her. She found me." Ah, that takes his curiosity to a whole nother level. Eduan switched his attention all over again, toward the regular that stood idly by, silencing herself throughout the entire inspection and even conversation of the two.
Albeit awkward, she seems to have a mind of its own. Considering how she stare at nothing in particular other than the sky, the one in which has been coded and organized to be the exact replica of the real world itself. The wind breeze that fluttered against her hair, it did not take long for her before her attention diverted onward the male once more.
“. . .”
“Hm, not much of a talker, are you?”
It seems to show no improvement or any sort for the woman to speak up. It was as if she was blinded by another amendment, to expand her vocabulary for speaking. Or perhaps, there seems to be another sort of issue whereas she deem it to be unworthy of her time. She desires to head off from this floor, reaching to the next true floor of all.
"Although, it shows how improvident you truly are. One uninformed regular manages to catch you off guard? Is that what you're trying to say?" The way he spoke held a snide remark behind it, albeit unsure, Eduan rather amused by the situation. It was unlikely enough for a mere regular on top of that, to ever locate one of the Khun within this data world.
In fact, she might as well be the first out of all the above regulars. "Doesn't matter, I welcomed you with open arms, regular." Eduan faced her, speaking with such pride and arrogance that one cannot ever be replaced. "Without further ado, I would've much more appreciated it if you were to speak. You gain nothing from staying still—"
"Travesty."
The data folks whipped their head, traversing through the scenery to the lone female alone. She stood there, pondering, judgment written across her facial expressions alone. However, what part of the current situation does she find… Travesty?
"Your poor choice of style, it lacks certain senses to it."
"I wouldn't wish to hear that coming from someone who's showing off their cleavage."
The tranquility quickly switches into an enormous, intoxicant tension. The air is sparked by electricity, from both the data and the regular themselves. The combination is between purple and blue, dancing across the air, fluttering in, suffocating those who're under the same ground as the two.
Animosity, the two held the same feelings to one another. They stare ahead at each other, as if they've been forced to face their rival. Some would've found the two similar in their own way, how the two wield such synthetic power, perfectly capable of copying each other's lighting, leading to a possible end to the poor, unharmed tower. There tends to be some people's worst enemy that was born under the same path as them.
"Don't be so spiteful, won't you? I may have achieved greater advancement, but there's no room for another in advance. I would've much more advice for you to stay low on your ground, there's nothing good you will ever achieve in engaging combat with me. Because plenty are well aware, who'll be the triumph one."
"Spiteful? Do not make your words mislead my emotions, nor the situation at hand. There's no need for me to feel that way for a well-known womanizer. How filthy, scummy and repulsive you are."
They bickered, the two bickered in the most bizarre way one can ever explain. The struck of lightning that align an entire mountain, a precise cut that created an exact rotundity by the ground, the frightening electricity that created many masses of volt and et cetera. It was disastrous enough to be labeled one of the greatest battles that ever occurred by the secret floor. Plenty of pebbles flown by the air, ground shattered to pieces, rumble of the ground indicating the power the two held.
They are similar in their own way. They are capable in their own way. And they are terrific in their own way.
Those who witnessed such a fight cannot help but feel rather awestruck. There has never been one person who's ever capable of deflecting or even subside Eduan lightning no matter the consequences they bear. But, for the first time, they ever witnessed another lightning, one that radiated in a bright purple color, deflecting, reflecting or even clashing in between Eduan lightning itself. There is no struggle shown, no sign of trouble that rises underneath the female, she fights in ease, moving at such unpredictable speed to dodge, to attack and to clash their spear together.
"Maschenny… What did you say her name was?" Data Asensio never once turned his attention away, not when the fight in front of him is captivating in its own way.
"Her name…? If I recall correctly…" Maschenny rewinds back her memories, how the two of them met, how enigmatic the woman was.
The breeze of the wind which shrewdly passed by, the light purple lightning which struck down in the ground beneath, the heaven that has been splitted apart, with one female descending from below. Truth to be told she's far from your normal regular, there's something more that she radiates. Maschenny is more than aware of that fact alone.
"Who—"
"Who am I? It is none of your concern, isn't it?" The spear in her hold, the cloth that swayed by the wind, h/l hair that follows the pattern of the blowing breeze. Maschenny frowned, she was tempted to strike, to attack those who dared to speak in such an overbearing personality. Alas, what can she do by now? Especially when she reminded her a lot of her own father.
"However, I will enlighten you. For I am the God of Eternity. For I am the Raiden Shogun. For I am, Y/n."

I have a rather cute idea~ Fem family head reader who dislikes public events (bc of Jahad), she herself doesn't come but she's ALWAYS determined about making some of her friends look stunning in the party. "You're going to be the most handsome man in the party!", She said as she showed Eduan various sketches of his outfit followed by the fabric samples. Eduan thinks that it's endearing, by the way this is platonic love UwU
The Best Man
Where Eduan has his own personal tailor girl
Tumblr media
"What do you take me for?"
That comment alone filled the head family with nothing but determination. Eduan raises an eyebrow, pretty much judging and putting her words into consideration. He pondered for a moment, leaning his body to the wall, arms crossed and light blue hair cascading his shoulder.
"A lovable idiot?" He asked, smirking. But, it didn't last long when she all of the sudden slammed her hands against the table, eyes burning with passion.
"Wrong! I'm the best of the best, the greatest fashionista or fashion icon of this tower!!" Eduan wishes to point out how exaggerated she is, however he did not have the heart to ruin that small happiness of hers. Hence, he decided to keep it to himself, watching her stroll away from her seat to elsewhere.
A pair of cobalt blue eyes stare ahead at the female, who's delighted by a certain news. Soon, there will be an event being held by Jahad himself, and he, as one of the head family, was invited, naturally. And, exactly why he found himself here? Nothing in particular, he just wants to serve an old friend, the one who loves fashion more than anyone in this tower. He never knew that a person who often worries about appearance, ended up being someone he could count close to.
Well, simply put, she's adorable, cute and endearing. How can he just kick off as if she's nothing to begin with?
He watched her closely and attentively, seeing how she used her shinsu to open a certain secret chamber of hers, which is nothing more but plenty of clothes that are being sorted out together. From a casual one, to a Royal one or even fancy one. It was sorted out with its own category that he's sure will be hard to do for normal people.
The female spread her arms open, showing her precious and beloved rack of attire. She had it all, she stored it all and most importantly, she collected them all. Every single fabric, every single style, every single kind; it was here, all collected in her own magical, shinsu wardrobe. And, how can he tease her for having such a hobby, when she's beaming up in delight?
Eduan sighs softly, shaking his head, as if he tried to seem disappointed but in truth, he always feels rather amazed by her persistence and love for fashion. She wiggle her eyebrow up and down, a grin lifted upward her lips.
"Welcome to the great, mighty, powerful and fancy secret lair!" She announced with a proud tone, indicating that such trivial matters bring joy in her own way.
"All I see is a pile of clothes." By his comment, she raised her index finger up, swinging it back and forth, from left to right. "Oh, vicious and blind one, you must've strayed off from the true path of fashion to the point… you dare to come by my presence with a rag covering your body." Y/n dramatically says show, before turning much more childish, facing back to her precious collection.
"Don't worry, don't worry! Of course I can fix that for you! I'll make you ethereal!" She runs her hand through each attire, searching through the plenty of clothes that's served in front of her. "I'll make you enchanting and even breathtaking!" Y/n takes one specific attire, takes it by the hanger and turns around, one hand laid on top of her chest while the other proudly showing the attire set.
"You are going to be the most handsome one within this party!"
Eduan softly smiles, looking at her excited figure that always radiates confidence and even trust. His cobalt blue eyes landed by the attire, scanning it from the top to the bottom. However, before he could even give the slightest comment, she suddenly shoved it into his arms, pushing him towards the fitting room, humming happily like a bird who found their one and only.
"Go and change, go and change~ And see if my babies will enchant your looks more~" He can't help but chuckle hearing that. The fact she alone called those clothes her babies never failed to crack him up. Y/n reach out to pull the black curtains, letting the other family head by this tower to change. She was excited, thrilled even!
"Do I really need to use the tie—"
"That's not a tie!! It's a bandana for tower sake! You could use it however you like."
And however he likes indeed. The moment he opened up the curtain, he adjusted the collar around his neck. Y/n judge his appearance before giddly clapping her hand together. She had known it would fit him at some point!
A long thinned material collared robe, that was decorated by the color of gray and light gray around the edge. The sash around his waist was tied properly and perfectly structured his build. Underneath, he wore a simple white button up, leaving a few buttons unattended, showing his collarbone. Last but not least, he wore long black jeans that were in pairs with a black shoes. Honestly, she must need to be promoted to some sort of a boutique owner or so. But, her attention fell to one thing that annoyed her.
"You're so ridiculous. Come here, bend down." Eduan raises an eyebrow by this, however he chooses to remain silent and obey. Y/n undo the messy tied ponytail, before using the same bandana to tie it around skilfully, putting his hair into a high ponytail and leaving behind some hair to frame his face perfectly.
"And perfect!"
●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○
Eduan tapped his finger, looking outside his residence. It has been quite some time since he attended an event, even worse, go to one. Perhaps it was thankful to the change of the tower that had happened for the past few years. It did not help his situation at all when he in fact, heard, his own bloodline was a part of it.
His hand subconsciously reaches out to brush his long hair, humming before reaching out to his wine once again. He twirls it around, giving the wine a nice swirl by the inside, eyes never once leaving the outside. The same bandana from years ago remains, being used by him only, even until now.
"...It has been a while for sure."
After all, that's the only thing that he could be reminded of her. The same person that climbed up the tower with him and became a family head. The same person who abruptly leaves this world all of the sudden. The same person he never managed to talk with again. Whether it's her passion, dreams or plenty more. After all, Y/n is no longer there by his side like she is supposed to do.

Hello! Do you mind if I request a one shot with Bam? That the reader always spoils him??, like they always buy him gift, gets him whatever he wants, etc. Just something fluffy for my heart!
Have a good day/night!!
Hopeless
Where one certain regular showing an obvious sign of favoritism
Tumblr media
"Can you... Stop?"
A certain regular immediately stops their movement, remaining where they were and stared at Khun in clear bewilderment. The two of them stared down at each other, as the regular took a step further, receiving a glare in their direction. Now, they cannot know for sure what his problem is. All they did was to take this one particular flavored bread, before taking off once again. Away from the kitchen itself.
"I didn't mean it literally." That confused them further, as they started to add. "Then?" Khun let out a long breath, a little resigned to their ignorance. But they just kept staring at him, as if they had no faults at all. Even though that was true.
"You know what I'm talking about. Do not play dumb." For a moment, they could've swore their brain went fried. What's up with him? He acted as if they're nothing but a mere troublemaker who planned the world's biggest violation even though they weren't capable of it…… Maybe… But, for now, they felt like they were doing nothing but lazing around. Especially not having a plan in mind right now. So what made him so against their actions?
"I know what you're doing." They raised the bread by their hand, waving it around with a confused look. "You'll hand that over to Baam." That piled up the amount of confusion, as they lowered the bread from his sight.
"No…?" Talk of the brunette, from the corner of their eyes, they spotted him walking down the hallway. A smile entirely ascends from their pouty impression a few seconds ago, as they chirped happily and rush towards Baam. Leaving Khun to sigh at their idiotic antics.
"Baaamm~! Here! I got you the milk bread you often liked~!" Seeing their behavior made Khun flabbergasted. Just a moment ago, didn't they themself say that the milk bread wasn't for Baam? But here they were now, standing right in front of him with a smile full of pleasure and Baam happily accepting it.
Now, Khun just wanted to say one thing. The interaction between the two of them is really painful to look at. No, no, he's not saying that he has a sense of objectivity, even more so. The relationship between the two of them, only limited to friends, so it is labeled as a platonic relationship. However, to see them who kept on giving everything to Baam was very unsightly.
It's not even the first time, they've done this many times. At one point, they had come across an artifact that only a Light Bearer could use, but they happily and cheerfully handed over the precious object to Baam. Yes, you can guess how Khun started to notice that their behavior was quite annoying.
“No, they said, and yet, their actions are quite contradicting.” Y/n flinches upon hearing his snarky remarks, turning to face him with an awkward smile. Ignoring the happy Baam who’s currently munching on the bread, looking quite confused on the conflict between the two.
“I’m being kin–”
“Towards Baam only.” Khun's feelings didn't need to be expressed directly, moreover it was obvious from his face that he carried a feeling of resentment towards them.
“...Who hurt you today?” That statement irked him to a certain level, he forced a smile, looking at the clueless regular. “Well, perhaps if someone did not take my canned milk coffee the other day, just to hand it over to someone else, right in front of me, I'm sure we’re on good terms.”
“When?”
With one word, all hell loose, Khun holding his blade very tightly, while Y/n is holding their very own weapon. The worst part of all is the fact they dared to stick out their tongue at him, knowing for sure what he is talking of. “This little rascal–” On the other hand for Baam, he was eating his bread peacefully, watching the fight between his two best friends. Clearly used with this sort of behavior by now.
Y/n swiftly uses the nearest table as leverage to leap up the air, as Khun lunges toward their direction. Is there any other day where the two did not fight together? Never apparently. There were many kitchen utensils being thrown around across the room, followed by many kinds of furniture being a worth(less) – y sacrifice.
“I’m thirt–”
“Here you go! And off i go!”
“–?! OI!! IS THAT MINE AS WELL!?” Instead of hunting down Baam for it, Khun chases after Y/n who runs towards the living room. They run across the sofa, sticking out their tongue at the flaring, furius Khun, one hand lowering their eyebag.
“Sharing is caring!!” Khun scoffed, trying to reach out to them, but the sofa was getting in the way. At this point, must he use shinsu just to catch one sly and mischievous regular? “From my point of view, you steal it, idiot! You barely ask any permission–!” The two of them continue on their banter, until one of their friends appeared rather tiredly by the hallway.
“...Do we need to start the morning like this everyday?” Baam emerges from the kitchen, standing right beside the sleepy Endorsi. He sipped Khun supposed to be morning caffeine, sticking out his tongue a tiny bit when he felt how hot it was.
“Well, i thwink thwis is fwine…” Baam says a bit slurring against his words, fanning his burning tongue. Endorsi facepalmed, unable to deal with such a fussy and chaosome morning, especially when she could still have her precious and beloved sleep.
“Oh! And Baam! I brought you something the other day! Make sure to check it out!”
“Oi–! Come back here!!”
With that, the two of them continue their little cat and mouse morning routine. Although, Khun doesn’t need to know who’s money she kept using to buy him his gift, does he? After all, it will be an endless argument between the two, that kept on going and going, possibly, to a decade or perhaps more.

Female reader x various charakter not romantic
Reader's enryu's kid he created her
If I'm not wrong he created hwaryun before
People doesn't know she's enryu's kid
There's a hard battle going on or maybe a war
Many jahad's knight already there to join the battle and other 10 family's knight join too
Fug is there with the other regular
many of them are tired because they use a lot of energy to fight the enemies some of them can't continue the very difficult fight their opponent is very strong, the fighters who come from 10 families and jahad have very great strength the designer plan really hard to think of a plan they should make. and when in a moment of urgency the reader uses all her strength to fight them she makes red rain like her father did
and she created a powerful monster with shinsoo (she didn't use her powers before because she was afraid that her powers would attract people's attention and might put her in danger but because in a very critical time she used her powers)
She was separated from her father because Enryu asked her to climb the tower before the reader left to climb the tower. Enryu advised the reader to use her great strength in critical situations. after the reader uses her power everyone is stunned she makes a shield around her friend so her friends doesn't get hit by a strong attack, her friends help her to defeat the enemies
After that battle/war she faint and fall down after use her whole power she tired and she need to rest she really miss her father but maybe after she and her friends react the top of the tower and defeating jahad and maybe the other head family they might meet again she really hopes for it
😭🗿💧 its sad because how much I imagine the reader because she really miss her father
Your writing is really good I like it ✨

A Favorable Child
Where Y/n is Enryu's favorite child, who is told to follow the rebels who will overthrow the king from his throne.
Tumblr media
Tower of God—A place filled with wonder and slaughter.  Where you may find a lot of bloodshed on every floor.  There is no such thing as eternal peace.  Troubles lie ahead, a path blocked by a cruel destiny. Those who are destined to be the fresh breeze of this tower, lead people to the truth.  People created for heaven's sake. Ironically, those who live outside the tower have been bestowed to such fate.
Somewhere, out there, whereas the world kept revolting by each passing second. The way the sea flows by, waves crashing throughout the end of the land. Quite a wondrous scenery one can say, yet — There stood by, two figures, standing idly looking up towards the hues of orange and pink, that shade across the vast sky.
"Father." A voice that unfairly, sounds melodious and soft, a mixture of timidity and innocence were evident by the voice.
Following pursuit, a figure of a man with bright red eyes stared ahead at the smaller form. The so-called father smiled at her figure, hands resting on them, giving a light pat of affection. The interaction between the two of them was quite touching, enough to make one think that this wasn't Enryu's characteristic at all.
"Is there anything you need?" In an immediate response, she shook her head to the side indicating there was nothing he wanted.
Y/n, one of Enryu's creations dedicated to himself. She had the appearance of his figure, ruby red eyes that glowed under the darkness, wavy red eyes and red silk that often roamed in the windwind.
She is, in fact, an exact replica of himself.
The strongest Ranker, Ranked 2 ranker, who caused chaos in one particular floor, was secretly the father of his own creation. It often seemed like he was trying to take advantage of her, but it was quite the opposite. If possible, he wanted her to decide her own destiny. He didn't want her to follow his orders like an empty doll.
To him, she was much more than a creation. She was his own daughter, someone who had accompanied him all this time. Become the pillar of his remaining sanity. Which made him choose a much safer trip and trip.  However, he was sure that day would come, and his own daughter would help them.
"My daughter."  He knelt down to reach her current height, both bloodshot eyes staring straight ahead at each other, filled with the danger that lay ahead.  "When the time comes, I will leave you." The mention left him with a bitter taste on his tongue, but if there was anything he really knew about his daughter...
"I see." How understanding she was most of the time. And it scared him — it's scary how easy she might've taken advantage of. Especially if she keeps up with such personalities. But perhaps, with experience, she'll learn because that's one or the most effective thing.
"However, that doesn't mean I'm abandoning you. Except, I have something for you, a task only you can do.” Y/n looked at him expectantly, that gaze received a faint laugh from his lips. Of course, Enryu had his own pride when it came to his daughter, the fact that she was precious and adorable often escaped his lips.
"Climb up the tower." That, it wasn't something she expected. She furrowed her brows, staring at her father who was observing the expression on her face.
"Didn't you leave because you said the king there was ugly, smelly, and disgusting?" Enryu snorted, hearing that leave her lips. Ah, how could he forget how long he had thrown away that pitiful tower and the ruler who benefited from the tyrant's role.
“I guess that's what I said earlier but…” He wrapped his arms around her hips, before lifting her up, causing a burst of laughter that came from his pool of happiness. “Some changes are coming soon, and I hope you will be part of that journey.”
"You won't be there for me?"
"I won't be there for you."
Sweet, the interaction between the two of them where they rely on each other in their lives. After all, the parent-child bond is something that is quite difficult to break no matter what you do. Whether you are deceiving a child or even deceiving a parent, true families will pass on their trust and confidence to others. That's how the two managed to fulfill their life together.
"Father, will I be okay on my own?"  Enryu looked at his daughter, before putting her down on the ground once more, his rough hand reaching out to hold hers. "You'll be fine. Otherwise, I'll turn the Tower upside down and name it Devil's Tower." The things he was willing to do for her safety were unavoidable.
"As for your strength..." He gently held her hand, walking side by side with her. "Never use it unless necessary or you are in potentially critical danger." Enryu turned the two of them around, arriving at a field of blooming flowers.
"Why?"  Hearing that question made Enryu grumble about the reason.
"That impudent king will try to take advantage of you." Y/n giggled as her father taunted Zahard for the umpteenth time.
"Promise me, okay?"
"Hm! I promise!"
●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○
Y/n looked up at the sky, a sky that was far more fake than the sky she was used to seeing. Day and night is a mechanism. Memories of their promise and childhood ran through her mind. How long? 10 years? 20 years? She couldn't count how long she had been separated from her father.
This brought a certain heartache to the bottom of her heart, exhaling deeply, hse lowered her head. Trying to remember what she should be doing right now. She may or may not be involved in the war, which is quite a serious matter. The great part, actually, is the task. This is what her father wanted, for her to be involved in part of the revolution, to remove the tyrannical king.
Her hand reached out to ruffle her tousled red hair, her eyes staring ahead, calculating the executive's possible next plans for the upcoming war. Her current team has a chance, especially with the fact that Baam has collected the weapons her father left behind. It would definitely come in handy in his hands.  She has faith, a lot of faith and belief in her team-mates. She knew what they were capable of, henceforth, she would not dare to underestimate and restrain them from taking further steps into this war.
"Sister." Y/n feigned mockery, looking sideways to face Hwaryun.
"If I remember correctly, we didn't come from the same womb." She chuckled as she said that, looking at her with a casual grin, which received a rounded glance from Hwaryun.
"I realized." The two women certainly showed something in common.  No wonder some people immediately thought Y/n was part of the Red Witch. Spoiler alert: She doesn't. She may have such an appearance, but she didn't even have the ability of a guide. Instead, she has the abilities of a fisherman and wave controller.
"Save the chat, why did you come after me?" The other thing that she was involved in was the absurd plan they discussed just a moment ago. Risking their lives and attacking head on, what more with the fact they may or may not face a family head or two like before?  She might show how weak she was in comparison, hiding her strength, but when it came to battle strategy, she was no stranger to it.
"I understand your feelings. You don't want to put them in great danger but... That's the only option." Y/n looked at Hwaryun with a disapproving face.  "If this plan means executing one of our teammates, you can ignore it." It was a risky move. They had crossed the bridge of the afterlife many times and even played with the reaper itself. With Baam's fake deaths and disappearances for over 10 years. Rak was lost and presumed dead, as he was eventually found on the secret floor. Khun was in a coma for 2 years. And Y/n was on the verge of death for preventing an all-out attack a few weeks ago.
Y/n was more than surprised to not see her father showing up feeling enraged.
"I have seen the possibility. The end of this coming war." There it was, the tone of sweet reassurance that came from her so-called sister.
Y/n crossed her arms, thinking about her words. "It's a tough decision, after all, it's much more different than the war with Fug." Hwaryun nodded in understanding, realizing the difference between this war and the previous one they had faced. This is much more dangerous where they may need to risk their life at some point.
“Do you even understand what it means if we go on a losing streak?”  Hwaryun remained silent, the future she was witnessing, the end of the war, the outcome of which might be seen clearly. The key to solving it all isn't just her God, Baam. The one who will help her God, the one who will become the Devil to balance this system.
"I hope I don't have to recreate the Floor of Hell unnecessarily." With a devilish smirk, that often denoted bad news. There it was, the Devil of this tower, standing upon all her glory.
●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○
It was regrettable, there were plenty of miscalculations.
"This isn't part of the information—!!! Are you even sure that Maschenny is on our side right now, Khun—?!"  Y/n descended down, preventing herself from being hurt by the attack that was aimed at her.
"Tsk! How would I know—?! She said Zahard wouldn't be here and only one family head would appear!" It was far too late to brief through their plan all over again. On the inside, Y/n proceeds to throw plenty of insults towards Hwaryun that are aware of what is going to happen, yet, she did not utter a single word.
Is this enough to be counted as a critical condition? Her teammates are pretty much losing at this point. Even Baam are quite exhausted from getting cornered by the family head's. She's much delightful that at least, two certain family head decided to lend them a help
Even when the two did not show up for now, having the possibility of enjoying his harem life while the other watched through their lament. She clenched her fists together, looking ahead at the chaos that was rendered right before her eyes. It was chaotic, blood and wounds in which her teammates shed. The amount of Shinsu they've wasted on, yet, nothing works. It was unnerving, something gruesome to witness.
Shinsu rays headed straight at her direction, whereupon she immediately moved aside, cursing herself from zoning out. Her eyes found their way there, to see one certain king, looking down at their figure as if they're nothing but a mere insect he could've stomped on. How annoying these feelings were, is this possibly what her father meant all this time?
“Ah-! Baam–!” Initiative, Y/n flash step to his location, catching the boy who fell in her arms. There was something boiling inside of her, a pair of red eyes becoming duller with time. She lifted her head, to look at the head of the Ari and Arie family. The two of them looked at them, seeing their loss brought a smirk to their faces.
Y/n gritted her teeth, flash stepped away after grabbing Baam. As she secures the fallen boy by her arm, she emerges above Khun's lighthouse. When he saw Bam and Y/n in worse condition, doubt filled the light bearer's mind. “The others didn't go as well as expected, let's retreat–”
"No, do not." Khun's pupils widened in shock, staring at the woman in complete disbelief. “Have you lost your mind–?!” Gently, Y/n lowered Baam who seemed to be in critical condition. It didn't help how the rest of her friends were trying their best to stay on their feet. There was anger and resentment welling up in her eyes.
“I have. However, am I worthy of being a God-given messenger, if I remain indifferent about our situation?’ With that, she flew into the air unassisted. Khun was left dumbfounded, if there was anything he could be certain of, it was the fact that her combat abilities were below average. And the pure sight of her, hovering in the air, something only that high authority could do, made him wonder...
Is that really the truth?
Zahard noticed something special, a familiar silhouette. He followed the movement of the figure, with each passing second higher and higher, right above the war and all their figures. He could have sworn, fear assaulted his bones, the way their wavy red hair was blowing in the wind, the resemblance was too similar.
“Hey... Isn’t that Y/n?” Shibisu pointed out, hoisting over Hatz who had tired himself throughout the battle. The swordsman looked up at the sky, seeing the familiar figure of his friend. “That is... Her, but... What is she doing?” Her position was more than enough to attract the enemy's attention. After all, she was up there, looking down at the war that was still going on as well. However, with the snap of a finger everything changes.
The sky that was originally still a bright blue, was enveloped in a fiery red glow. Thousands of them appeared, surrounding the heaven that had been bestowed upon them. For those who once missed a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, are now given another chance to experience fear. Abandoned fear and a glimpse of such power. Disaster will once again sweep across this land. And seeing such a terrifying sight, reminded Zahard of a high ranker.
Enryu red rain.
Heaven was torn apart, the signal of havoc had begun, red Shinsu descending down from the sky, piercing through every regular that stood by her way. In such a malicious action, there was not a single mercy spared towards the enemy. The scream of agony that filled her eardrums fell ill.
“...Y/n style shinsu control...” She parted her lips open, eyes narrowed down to witness the pleasant sight of fear. “Re-creation.”
The entire floor was shaken, from the pit of darkness, a guardian was created. Awakened from its slumber, a Shinsu guardian that's coming from the depth of a void, has resurrected. It was an all out attack, there was not a single hesitation and moments of relaxation which was given. Everything must fall into a pit of chaos, every blood must be shed for the sake of her friends and victory.
"Y/n style shinsu control : Swerve." Whereas the guardian has created an entire mess, entirely taking advantage of the battlefield, Y/n proceeds to continue on her attack, whilst this one, albeit different. The attack that has been received by her teammates ultimately will be returned to those who attack, therefore it was a quick and unavoidable karma.
"...Y/n style shinsu control : Floor of Hell."
●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○
"How long?"
"...Possibly a few weeks or even months."
Hearing that, Khun frowned. He looked up at the sleeping figure of Y/n that ended up blacking out after dealing such an attack. It was enough to scare the king and family head away, although the aftermath is displeasing.
"Well... That doesn't matter but... Who would've thought she's Enryu's daughter this entire time?! The high ranker that placed second!!" Endorsi freaked out, hand outstretched towards the female that's having a momentary rest. Fortunately, it was more than a surprise the moment Hwaryun announced her identity. Call her a snitch or so, but she lessens the burden of self-explanation..
"Endorsi... How come it doesn't matter? I feel like her identity is the one that doesn't matter anymore..." Baam uttered out, turning her attention back and forth from Y/n and the small group that decided to hear the testimony result coming from the medical team.
The Zahard princess crossed her arms, huffing. "I feel like... She didn't trust us enough with this information, you know? Keeping away a secret... Even going to such an extent as hiding her strength..." Hatz turned to look at her, letting out a soft sigh. "It could be something her father told her. Given how Enryu is a high ranker who came from outside the tower... I wouldn't be surprised to know it was a given condition."
The group fell silent after that, looking ahead at the sleeping figure, who had fully used her powers for their safety. They wouldn't bother lying, how amazed they had witnessed such power before. At a time of crisis, a spark of hope suddenly ignites their despair, leading them to victory in that war. They may have been left unscathed, luckily for someone who was sacrificed. Unfortunately, not all of them happen to leave in good condition. As the soldiers retreated, Y/n the only who collapsed, falling from above. Alas, Baam returned the favor by catching her.
"What are we going to do next?" It is not a possible fact that the previous war was the end. There are many more battles they will face. And, with one particular absence which was revealed as their queen card, might be another weakness of theirs.
Nonetheless, Khun would not let that happen anymore. He turned around, facing his back in the other direction with his head hung low. "We will do what we are supposed to do. But, this time, we will prepare a better planning method." His cobalt blue eyes were glued to the floor, his thoughts drifting elsewhere, far from his true plan.
"Just because Y/n has proven her abilities insignificantly... We can't use her as a living weapon. Because that's all a backstabber would do." Walking out of the room, he left the others who were worried about Y/n's condition since yesterday.
●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○
Time is always running, bringing a feeling and effort that is carried by the wind. A fateful change, bringing happiness along with the freedom of life that cannot be expressed in words. It's all too emotional to describe with prepositional sentences.
Every effort spent with the last drop of blood. As a result, in the end, they ended up in a brilliant future. There, she was, standing with a smile so sweet and beautiful. Her droopy eyes, filled with freedom from suffering. Every episode of life that she goes through, eventually reaches a coda in her story. The sensation of the breezy wind that touches against her skin. Y/n take a deep breath upon the fresh air, the burden by her shoulder has entirely been lifted away. It was refreshing, pleasant and peaceful. Watching the real sky all over again, she looked up at the vast blue sky, crimson eyes twinkling under the light.
"OI!! WAVY TURTLE!!"
She turned her head, meeting a taller figure from afar. Of course, it was none other than the loud Rack. Y/n smiled a little affectionately, sprinting to reach her own group who were laughing merrily. The sound of that ringing laughter, the delightful happiness emanating from their figures and the way they finally came to the final conclusion they deserved. What else could she ask?
"I'm coming, Rak, don't worry." She reassured the alligator from a distance.
But, for a moment, could she feel selfish? Can she teach the deepest selfishness? The selfishness that eats the heart, mind and mentality in the void? A smile is a decoration on facial features. Will the unknown, is the fact and honesty alone that says that a reflection of the eye says it all? In the end, an expression of joy will not convey a conscience, what determines it all is the look of the eyes.
There is longing in her heart. There is an emptiness in that depth. With each passing day, her thoughts became irrational, eating her confidence up and down, completely devouring her figure who was sunk away from the reality of her world. What actually made her like ther? It was a fact of her unrequited wish that didn't come true. While the tower will grant every wish that is requested. For this tower, it is such a benevolent one. Yet, here she is, standing there without her wish becoming true.
"What's the matter, Y/n? You've been out of it since it ended."
Baam points out what appears to be factual information. After all, to see such a disappointed expression, a lifeless gaze, with such a downcast spirit, it was obvious how tired she was. Although tired, she looked at her companions who had fallen into the pit of silence, a pair of eyes staring at her figure as if she were a pitiful creature who had ever set foot in this tower. She licked her lips, moisturizing the dry skin in an anxious manner. What can she say?
Y/n was too understanding, to know that her words might burden her friends. If she had to admit, she no longer had a goal, no more priorities… She could have sworn that their mood would drop drastically. It was supposed to be a happy day, the day they ended their final journey, fulfilling the things they couldn't in the past.
"It just... It just that…"
"Face North and walk forward. Whatever you do, do not stop and look back." Hwaryun has the habit of cutting off her words, especially during her times of dilemma. Y/n looked at her in bewilderment, wondering if she should believe her or not.
Without further instructions, she put it into action. Turning around swiftly, she hesitantly took a few steps forward to the North. Y/n cannot know for sure why she decided to play along. On the other hand, a part of her seemed to agree, the way her blood was pumping, and her heartbeat quickened. It was a familiar and fleeting feeling, different from the rush of adrenaline that ran under hee skin during the war. No, it was something she herself felt hazy and blinded by.
There, from afar, She could see something. Wormholes, fissures of the universe being ripped apart are a clear sign. It was a familiar entrance many years ago. Was this why Hwaryun ordered her? Was this why her mind decided to believe the guide's words? Because she completely put her trust in her hands when she made such a wish to the tower?
That familiar figure, that wavy red hair, that pair of red eyes which often glowed under the dim light. That way too familiar dress. The figure standing a few meters away, had been closed off the distance by her for the few seconds that passed. Y/n couldn't tell the exact time when she started running, however, the number of times she nearly tripped over herself, made her realize that she had picked up her speed even faster.
Pearly clear tears ran down through her eyes, falling down to her chin as she made her way closer to the figure. A smile, that is enough to convince her whether he is truly real or not. That smile he often wore out whenever she ran in his direction, whenever she saw his figure from miles away, whenever she ran towards him, finding herself into his embrace. That welcoming smile she so adores.
"Y/n." Oh, how longed she was to hear her name called with such adoration. As if she was the one that lit up the darkness of the universe.
She reached out into his embrace, falling down to the familiar warmth that he radiates. A pair of arms that engulfed her entirely, that gave her the place to go home, a place where she could count as her safe place. Heaven forbid her to interact close to him, but now, she's willing to go through hell itself for a moment such as this.
"Father... Father... Father…!!" Y/n keep on chanting the same thing, over and over again. Those tears combusted, the overbearing feeling has seeped through that thick wall of hers. Now, she becomes a crying mess, holding onto Enryu with dear life, with one wish being fulfilled by patience.
"I'm here..." Enryu spoke gently, trying to soothe down the pain of his daughter.
"You've been through a lot… You've fulfilled your duty splendidly... More importantly, you're still here, safe and sound… I'm proud of you."
It was safe to say, she has reached her epilogue. The conclusion of the story that she desperately seeks, praying upon the stars and the Axis itself, has finally been fulfilled on her behalf.

In your story about fem reader as enryu's kid
He will really get mad when his daughter get hurt when climb the tower right?
Really protective father
Imagine when a boy ask her hand in marriage or asked reader to be that boy is girlfriend and enryu was there to see what's going on
enryu will glare at the boy to the point of making the boy tremble and the reader just stood there confused because she saw the man in front of her shaking (because when the reader looked behind her Enryu's face turned friendly as usual but when the reader looked back at the boy Enryu's face turned scary again)
Enryu's face is like saying "stay away from my son, you don't deserve to be my son's partner"
Enryu doesn't want us to get a bad partner and he will be alone again without us for the second time
He knows there will be a time when we will have to get married
but the reader doesn't want to get married or in a romantic relationship because she is sad that she will leave his father "I don't want to get married if I have to leave dad because he will be lonely" Inspired from who made me a princess
And after hearing his son say that Enryu's heart was touched and smiling at his daughter
(Just imagine enryu's smile face ugh! 🗿 just frown looks handsome but when he smiling he will be more handsome oh to be reader in the story.)
Reader is friends must already know that Enryu is a very protective father towards his daughter and will do anything to make his child happy
I used to read the manhwa that MC's father was very protective of his son and was inspired by that
And the reader's friends were there to see Enryu smile. their faces look shocked seeing Enryu the rank 2 smile maybe except bam
Meanwhile, a man who falls in love with a reader can only be silent and disappointed after hearing readers say that they don't want to go into romance
I know, in your story about reader as enryu is kid there wasn't a romance because I didn't request it I did it on purpose because I want to see platonic
[🌺]
Not a request
May I have you hand in m— Ah, never mind
Reason why it's a plausible explanation to not fall for Enryu's daughter
Tumblr media
Enryu
Read number one
Read number two
And so on, I believe myself it was canonical how he adored people that is close to him. Especially how he goes to such extent as destroying a floor upon hearing the news of that fanatic shrine. At the same time, it shows how much he gratitude a relationship that he was involved upon.
Therefore, let us make Khun the victim for today scenario. Being a family head is almost as equal as diving into a marriage life, and who else could fill in that empty spot aside from Y/n herself.
Now, Khun was known to be cunning, it was pass on throughout the blood. Alas, it was quite bold of him to fearless-ly headed straight to the lone female, that seems to be smiling cheerfully this past few days. But, words died down the moment he feels a menacing glare from the back of her.
Well, it was understandable how much he love his own daughter, but must he go to such extent as hogging her all by himself. Khun was brave, surely. But, what is he capable of in front of a high ranker that came from outside the tower? None, absolutely none.
Y/n innocently turn to look at Enryu, who switched his mask to such a gentle face. It was filled with loving and you could've swore there's some flowers petals around him. That, that alone made the group gag in disbelief, whilst Baam munching on his food.
Even Khun has was struck in disbelief. Hypocrite! He's a hypocrite towards his own daughter! When she turned to face him back, he only received a-not-so-sure-rejection. If she worry about such trivial things in his point of view, Khun will find a way to deal with that. All he ever needed, is that hypocrite father of hers blessings.

𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲
Where Cater feelings was a whole ride of rollercoaster
Tumblr media
"𝐀𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐲𝐨𝐮'𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰."
 »»————- ————-««
Cater wasn't quite sure what had happened. Just a moment ago, he could have sworn that he was enjoying his life to the fullest. And now, here he was, lying in his bed as a desperate man would do. If he thought carefully, the answer was quite simple. Or maybe too flashy.
The only person he admired, the only person he sought often and the only person who had tightly bound his heart... Had completely called his existence a fake.
Well, it hurts, even more than domestic violence in his perspective. Given the fact that it was more of a truth than a hoax, who was he to deny such a proclamation? He could defend himself, he could try to divert the conversation elsewhere, and yet he remained there, standing still with a face that showed how confused and surprised he was. Why would someone as beautiful and kind as her say such deep and hurtful words?
Blankly, he looked ahead, noticing the motionless ceiling of his bed. Only at times like this, could he act as he should. He put down the mask that hid his entire faade. In the end moments like these are eternal peace, at least for a moment. Cater sat down for a second, a frown forming on his friendly face.
"I'm fake... Huh? Then what are you, Kantokusei?" It was childish for him to complain like this, especially since he was well aware that it was the truth.
Various wise opinions came flooding in. His mentality is at the peak, whatever he does, it is often to please others rather than himself. The struggle that he did for his actions, will not be understood by people who only see it from a side. Unfortunately, when someone he had secretly borrowed said such a straightforward opinion, how else could he rebuke him?
Carter's eyes fell on his phone which was left unattended. The habit of posting something eventually settled in overtime. He reached out towards the device, knowing for sure that perhaps, it had the possibility of consoling him. In the middle of the plan, he saw his own reflection on the screen. His expressionless face, with a gaze filled with exhaustion.
In the end, there was a realization within him. That all along, he was just a joke, amongst all of them that ever set foot in this college.
●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○
“#Adorablesweets #Schoocafetaria #Itwasdelicious…” Cater mumbled, his hands typing fast across the surface of his device, all his attention on the screen. He was nimble on the inside of his cheeks, trying to make further tags deemed unnecessary. The life of an influencer that he goes through is certainly a difficult road. More importantly, with the algorithm being his daily reminder, how could he stop posting the photos he took?
His typing came to a halt, becoming brain-dead as his usual creative description vanished in an instant. He furrowed his brows deeply, his fingers tapping on the keyboard, typing and erasing, repeating the same actions for the past few minutes. It was eating away at him, the fact that his mind had gone blank these past few days.
"...I'll do it later." Turning off the device, he tucked his phone into his pocket, attention finding its way into the courtyard.
The lunch hour had just ended for him, given the time and location he was given while he was walking. Just himself, thanks to the silence that never lasts more than a few minutes. Besides, there was no way Cater would be alone without Trey or even Riddle. That would be if the two of them weren't preoccupied with their own responsibilities.
“–!!” But, it proved wrong for him, to turn his attention elsewhere as he walked. What knocked him out of his mind was when a body collided with him, which made him stagger backwards slightly.
"Ah, sorry—" Never finishing her words, she blinked like an owl, Y/n stood there in her usual matching clothes with the brown book she was holding. Cater was left dumbfounded, having a short circuit in his brain. If he was brain dead a few seconds ago, now he really is dead.
“Oh, wow, you… Why are you alone, Cater-senpai?” A drop of sweat ran down his cheek, how could he interact with her? The Ramshackle prefect who just the other day called him a fake? His lips opened and closed, considering the situation, he had to answer her question first.
“Well… Trey and Riddle are quite busy at the moment! Who left Cay-cay alone–”
"I can accompany you. It's still a long time for lunch." Code red, absolute code red. Inside his mind, Cater could hear sirens wailing, signaling the panic he was in right now. What is she planning? If she was planning to injure his dignity further, he didn't think he could handle them with his usual cheerful aura.
"Ah, well..." At the same time, it was an opportunity given to him. When will there be another occasion where he monopolizes all the attention of his crush without Adeuce and Grim? Even if the time is not right or precisely, inapt. Cater was certainly seeking his own death.
Reluctantly, he nodded, his trademark, usual smile showing on his face, as he chirped happily. "Of course!" He dug his own grave and no regrets came. Or maybe he will soon regret his decision as time goes on. “Great.” Y/n smile happily, that made him shrink in his spot, is this really the same person that called him a fake a few days ago?
To begin with, how did it all start?
Cater pondered and pondered – however, no answer emerged from the pile of possibilities he found.  He didn't anger her by chance, right? Even if his fiery rage consisted of puffing cheeks and an adorable angry voice, he wouldn't have gone that far to see an expression of anger… Except, did he really do that?
As far as he was aware, when a woman was in a rage, it was a sign to leave immediately. Better yet, never try to test a woman's temperament. Knowing how he came through was a lot of experience of that itself. In his current case, he could feel the sweat on his palms that had gathered involuntarily. Now, what can he do? He had never been this awkward before, well, he wouldn't be that awkward unless they didn't argue a few days ago—
“Earth to Cater?” Cater let out an audible, ‘eh’, noticing the close distance between the two. Her hands were waving in front of his, face leaning closer, standing while tip toeing to reach his height. “Hellooo?” He blink profusely, comprehending their current situation.
“...Ahaha! You could’ve just said you wanted to take a pic, N/n!” Y/n quirk an eyebrow at his retort, that seems to be out of character for him. The person that stands by her, uncharacteristically loses his composure easily enough.
“What’s wrong? You seem a bit nervous?” Cater cannot tell whether her ignorance is a blessing or a curse, a tantalizing offer to specifically say what bothered him was an itch to shed.
"That... Bummer~ N/n found out." He sighs with a smile, hand reaching out to tuck away the hair strands next to his face. "Boohoo... Poor Cay-cay is forced to study for the upcoming exam. Don't you know how stressful it is?" Y/n tilt her head, wondering whether that's what caught him up in cloud nine or so. By the end, she nodded along, smiling gently.
"I'm sure you can do it. You can't afford to fail or it's off with your head, remember?" Through her parted lips, she chuckled merrily. It was unnecessary of him to lie, however, things must be tended carefully. Along with their relationship that seems to be on thread. At any given moment, it could've snapped apart by a small cut, resulting in an unpleasant ending.
It was obvious how whipped he was for her, call him a simpleton, he wouldn't mind. He would even make a fanbase that is entirely dedicated to her alone, with her permission, of course.
"I trust you can do what you're capable of." Cater lips parted open, looking at her with a registering mind. Trust him with something he's capable of? What kind of thing is he actually capable of? Even showing the slightest emotions had been a tough journey for him. Furthermore, trusting someone in his life.
Y/n reached out to hold his hand, as he looked down at her figure that's much shorter compared to her. "I'm sorry, if the other day I hurt your feelings. But, I have no intention of doing that. It's just annoying? How you act like you're some kind of clown." She smiles sheepishly, turning to the side to watch the leaf fluttering against the wind.
"I just... I want the best for you."
●○●○●○●○●○●○●○●○
"Diamond?"
"Hm? Oh, yeah?" The male whipped his head up to meet with his classmate's gaze, Lilia.
Lilia and Vil share a knowing look, switching up their attention back to the awfully ill silence student. Now, this confused him to such a certain level, two of his classmates stare at him as if he was an abnormality within the sea of students. "No offense, Cater. However, you looked quite out of place." Vil retorted, arms crossed together whilst his violet eyes pierced through his green ones.
"Eh?" Carefully, Cater drummed his hand across the hard surface of the table, looking for any sign of affirmation. "Well, if I'm in the presence of someone like Vil, obviously I'll look out of place! We should take a pic to commemorate it!" The celebrity sighs in disbelief, knowing for sure what the influencer is trying to seek here.
"I was talking about other perceptions. As a matter of fact, it was unlikely for someone like you to zone out and ignore the existence of magicam. It has been quite some time since you mass-posting." Said Vil, looming over the figure that remained seated in his position.
"That's sweet! Did you follow me on magicam? How come you know something like that?" Cater seems to be delighted upon finding out he was updated with the latest news about his account. If he were to follow him, that means— "Rook keep me updated." That shredded every single hope that appeared once in a lifetime.
"Man, that's totally uncool. You should've said that at the beginning." Lilia chortles due to the interaction between his two classmates, finding such times a memorable journey.
"To begin with, you're the one that hopes too much." Cater nervously laughed, scratching the side of his face.
"Aside from that, did something happen? It was out of the ordinary for you to avoid using your device." Lilia meddled into the conversation, the three third year students conversed to each other on a daily basis, but it's a rare occurrence whereas it involved personal matters.
By now, what can he say? Even Trey and Riddle caught on, especially those two certain first year students who rarely quick-witted. Regardless, he was obvious to read most of the time, especially during his downfall. It was a poor attempt to hide away, but alas, his mask is thick enough to evade any unnecessary talk such as this.
"Well~!" Cater chirped out, smiling happily. "I don't know whether you two will understand but, I've been dealing with a love life drama!"
"Is it the prefect?" Or, he underestimates how keen his classmates tend to be. The mentions of the said person make him fall into a pit of solitude. "Oh my..." Lilia cooed out, amused by that significantly too obvious impression.
"Before you could rebuke any sort of lies, we're no fool, Cater." Vil cut him off, making him zipping his mouth shut into a thin line. "From the way you look at her in such longing and adoration, you look at her as if she's the fairest person of all."
Cater has a troubled expression, if he was that obvious, does that mean Y/n is that dense to notice such a sign? Well, he tends to be quite flirtatious around her — Yet, she would've often picked it up as a friendly gesture. Or, it's a high chance she barely looks at his direction and falls for someone else.
...Fall for someone else? Cater never takes that assumption to heart, considering how he often thinks he's the only one who holds romantical feelings for her. The noise around his surroundings died down, everything becoming deafening in his ears, as the whisper of insecurities settled in with their personal nest.
What if she falls for someone else?

LONG TIME NO SEE :D Seems like both of us are busy and I genuinely hope that you won't be burnt-out and that the busy life won't give you stress. By the way, I'd like your own opinion on something. I imagined a lot of things, and one of them is a family head!reader who loves her descendants in a toxic way, if other family heads ignore their descendants this one manipulates her descendants into becoming mentally dependent on her. Wdyt?
To Love Someone
Where Ratix share their personal opinion regarding a toxic relation
Tumblr media
Without a doubt, it would have been a disastrous family.
In comparison to others, many would have liked to say that Y/n are much more of a kindred spirit than the others. She's compassionate, loving, graceful, and everything else. Truly, she was the perfect embodiment of a perfect and suitable mother for her children and, above all, for her soon-to-be grandchildren in the future.
To the point, they can't help but think that she was the perfect mother to ever exist in this tower, and how fortunate the L/n lineage would've been under her gentle guidance… However, I believe they should retract those statements.
We can all tell that the cause of the great family's ignorance was nothing more than the fact that they see no value in their own children. Only those who outperform their peers and achieve far more than the other children would have received personal recognition from the head family; however, this was not the case for Y/n.
As previously stated, she is kind, loving, and compassionate, and it is safe to say that she is the ideal mother that everyone in this tower and throughout the world desires. But, alas, that was one of her biggest flaws, and it was the one thing that could have led to the demise or downfall of her own children.
That's why most great family heads scoff, roll their eyes, or turn away from the compliment the L/n head would've received from most regulars. Even King Zahard himself knows better than anyone that it is by far the most preposterous thing anyone has ever spouted off.
Regardless of their displeasure with those remarks, the family heads still respected her in their own way. Especially those who are interested in her method of utilizing her own lineage's power, strength, and everything else. It was all wrapped up in her fingers because of the intoxicants and sweet lies she had fed them all.
She desired nothing more than to be physically close to her children since they were born. She adored them, lived with them, and lavished attention on them, so why should they leave her behind? They are welcome to stay! This is their home! Their sweet home and their sweet, adoring mother are there for them! Is there any reason for them to leave?
Those poor and pitiful children, of course, will listen to their mother's words. They prioritized her rules and commands over everything else, including the supposed freedom they were given. But, in her opinion, it was nothing more than a flimsy reason for them all to abandon her. Those worthless excuses that should never have existed in the first place. Therefore, to what extent will she keep them all by her side, depending on her, no matter the situation or time?
When they are still merely toddlers, you can manipulate them by taking advantage of their pretended innocence, pointing out all of their insignificant errors, placing blame on them, and gently correcting them. She reduces everything they do to nothing more than an error, sowing the idea that she is in this situation the only one who is entirely correct.
This is why they have all developed a mental attachment to the family patriarch. They see her as the righteous one, the one who can provide comfort and safety far away from those heinous towers that were filled with bloodshed, as she would have it. That innocent facade and kind-hearted demeanor were used to her satisfaction, happiness, and obsession.
It made no difference how promising the lineage or descendant might be. They are constrained by the absolute rule of that wretched and hypocritical family head.

Help me please I can't get jealous Ehwa out of my head. Can I please have your take on Ehwa being jealous of Baam and puppet daughter's relationship ? Reader as the puppet daughter I mean. Baam and the puppet are drawn to each other naturally because of their moms, and the puppet is rather touchy because Baam's vital to her. Baam's touch starved too because of FUG so he accepts the platonic affection. And also her calling Baam "oppa" or "Viole oppa". Please and thank you <3

“Oh?"
There are no other words to describe her. She’s out of many people's league, far from the title of stunning. Rather, she’s otherworldly, outstanding and those kinds of words are entitled against her. She was the embodiment of beauty and ethereal, the one that borned with such a flawless body and face.
A white porcelain skin, enveloping her entire body. A silky smooth light blue hair, worn loose and wavy, cascading down her shoulder and some of which covers her face. The young maiden has light blue eyes with long eyelashes, fluttering by the softest wind. She also has a beauty mark near her lip, adding more charm into her already.
Unlike the Khun's, she has a much brighter tone of hair and eyes. Flowing hair that looks tempting to thread against someone's palm. Her eyes resemble the diamond in the rough, sparkling underneath the light that descends down on her figure. Her figure only. It was as if she's the star of the show, the one and only person that is blessed with attention.
And Ehwa knows, the moment she notices her existence, everything seems blurry, bland and unsatisfied. She always and always speculates that she's charming enough to woo many people under her. But like the old saying goes, above the sky there is still more.
"Why does it matter? I've long known Oppa more than you."
A look of her father, yet a strong and monstrous personality of her mother. She upholds both of her parents in her, even when in truth, she's nothing more than a puppet that could be destroyed if someone put effort into it. She's fragile, she's ready to be cracked apart. However, she's unapproachable. The lack of emotions, the lack of proper humanity brings out the coldness within her.
She blinked, batting her long lashes and crooked her head to the side. "Yun Ehwa, I asked you a question. And I'll kindly repeat myself; why does it matter?"
"That…" Ehwa cannot look at her properly in the eyes, she look at the ground, unnerving. She should've known than to let those ugly, repulsive green monsters eat her alive. The jealousy she's feeling to her, to someone who's on equal ground as Baam.
Ehwa is here to settle everything, to confront her action and to stop her touchy – clingy ways around him. Unfortunately, it feels like it was the opposite thing. Rather, she feels like she's the one being prevented from doing what she always did. Having close contact with Baam, something she cannot do. Having most of his time, something she cannot receive. And having his affection, something she cannot have.
The golden hair accessories that swirling around her hair like a vine, even having one single rose stood out under the glimmering light. It mirrors down on the tile underneath them, sparkly bright golden hues that reflect in the greyish floor. She looks glamorous and lurid, contradictory to Ehwa.
"If you can't say it, do not waste my time." The puppet sighs, turning around on her heels and taking a few steps away. Each step grew farther and farther away, the click of the sole of her heels filling in the empty hallway. However, she abruptly stopped, lips parted open and head slowly turned around.
"Go…. Viole… you…"
"Can you repeat that?"
"...Go to Viole, you'll go search for him again, won't you?" Ehwa did not understand where that burst of confidence overflowed. She's completely unaware of the instinct that kicks in, ignoring the way the puppet remains silent.
"You really can't leave him alone, can you?" Ehwa take a few steps closer, jabbing her finger into the area of her collarbone, resulting for those pair of bright blue eyes, darkening. "You're like a lost puppy who cannot live without its owner's order. That's pathetic, that's pitiful."
She remained that, not once did she take another step away. Listening to each nonsense Ehwa has sputtering out. She's not the type to ever experience any kind of emotions, whether it's annoyance or not. Although, she could clarify that the girl in front of her is currently classified as annoying.
"You know, I don't like it at all. The way you cling on him as if your life's on the line, as if he's the only oxygen you're breathing…"
"The fact he wouldn't mind everything you did…"
"I don't like it. I hate it all. So, I'm here to say that you don't have any reason to act like tha—"
"So do you." After listening to her entire list of ramble, she finally cut off Ehwa words. Resulting for her to get rather offended, especially to what she had said to her.
"What do you mean, so do i?" The young maiden crossed her arms and looked at Ehwa in clear disinterest. "It's quite humorous, the things you've said. You acted as if you never treated Oppa wrongly."
That's enough to shut down every argument inside Ehwa mind. Her body stiffened hearing that, remembering of the past, their first meeting to be specific even. Even during that time, the girl in front of her has always stuck close to Baam's side. No matter the risk or even the consequences, she sticks close, showing no fear of the organization that controls the two of them.
She reached out, gripping on Ehwa shoulder – lightly. What she did not be considerate of, is how light it was for her and not for Ehwa. She winced in pain, reaching out to push away her hand but she did not budge. She remains there with an inexpressive face, eyes drilling into her soul.
"Remember this, and remember well. Who knows Oppa best in between us two?"
She let go of her grip, returning back her hand to the side and head off to seek for Baam. On that day, Ehwa cannot sympathize with her situation at all. Whether she's a puppet or not, she couldn't care less. She would not ever and forever ever, sympathize with such a being.
She may have taken the wrong alternative ways. In fact, Ehwa already takes the wrong steps when she assumes everything will go smoothly with the confrontation.
