Today has been a day. Not a good one.

Finally got home where stuff’s supposed to be safe.

And my tablet is spontaneously stuck in a Windows 10 “Preparing Automatic Repair” loop.

It automatically starts as soon as I add a charge (plug in), and draining the battery hasn’t changed anything.

Pressing Power button, holding Power button, nada, zip, zilch, no change, keeps chugging “Preparing Automatic Repair.”

I use a third party wireless keyboard, and the “Press and hold F8 to Boot in Safe Mode” isn’t working.

Anyone got any suggestions beyond taking it in somewhere? I mean, that’s an option I’m willing to do, but would love not having to spend those spoons if possible…
