Some old work from back in the day when All Yesterdays came out. Inspired by this little book I produced probably around 60 images, most of them pretty small, most of them on ripped out pieces of brown paper, to show the fleeting, conceptual nature of them.
Here three examples, dust bathing Struthiomimus, Hesperonychus with elaborate cranial plumage and Tianyulong spraying on a predator.

Another dinosaur pencil drawing that I've been working on very slowly for a very long time. A pair of Hesperonychus watch over their trio of awkward, half-naked and half-fluffy nestling chicks. Inspired by this beautiful photo: https://www.flickr.com/photos/johnfish/6889558970

I have been trying to find good models for Hesperonychus, but it’s a heavily underrated dromaeosaur. Do you have any good pictures of it for reference?
Unfortunately, we don’t really know much about Hesperonychus itself, since it’s only known from a partial pelvic girdle. However, we do know that it was a microraptorine, and in Longrich and Currie’s 2009 description they concluded that Hesperonychus was likely closest to Sinornithosaurus in terms of appearance. As such, I’d suggest using Scott Hartman’s Sinornithosaurus skeletal as a reference:

Thing from DinoAsk, but i'm too lazy to translate it, sorry. Degasi just talks about how she lost her finger as a juvenile in a "fight" with hesperonychus, but she's totally fine, and it doesn't bother her at all

October 19th: Bone
Cobra slid under a limb as she ran, her red hair almost getting snagged in it as she went. She fumbled with a bone on her hip before filling it with magical energy and throwing it behind her not wanting to see the carnage of the Hesperonychus elizabethae dinosaur she had brought back.
Hearing a screech she turned just as the small dinosaur leapt onto the back of the wolf that had been chasing her and the small carnivore reached down. Cobra quickly made to turn around around and kept running as she listened to the whimpers and screams of the wolf until a bloody bone appeared back at her hip and she made it out of the woods.

1 and 75 for Badr and 80 for Abjid, from the OC Asks
Badr-
What is/are your OC’s nickname(s) and how did it come about?
Obviously the shortenings of their name (namely Badr, since Badr al-Din is their first name, though some have also called them badi, or din/deen). I also imagine Varric’s nickname for them is Dusk.
In their clan they were also called Dhruasha, Ashane, Amadhru- this coming from the elven name they have which is Amadhruashane and shortenings of it (similar to how Elane’lunalen is commonly called Ane’lun). They were also called Evune or Evunelen, Evune just means moon, and Evunelen would roughly mean child of the moon. Their sister tends to call them Evunelen, while their brother tends to call them Dhruasha (though both also call them Badr).
What is your OC’s favorite scent?
Any sort of floral scent tbh! They really love lotions or oils or perfumes with floral scents.
Abjid-
What is your OC’s favorite dinosaur?
Hesperonychus bcuz it’s a tiny ass murder bird, or quetzalcoatlus because it’s a tall odd-looking bird. Abjid supports any weird looking creature esp if it’s a carnivore. Just fucking superb you funky little creature.

Where did you get the dinosaur models in your background photo?
All over the place! Mostly museum shops and toy shops here and there. If you'd like to know for ebay search purposes, here’s a list of them:
Carnegie Giganotosaurus, Deinonychus trio, Dilong.
Wild Safari Pterosaur and Nigersaurus (the current avatar is their feathered Tyrannosaurus).
Papo brown Tyrannosaurus, green baby Tyrannosaurus, Spinosaurus, Carnotaurus, and Allosaurus.
CollectA Diplodocus.
Jurassic Park Coelophysis.
Yowie Cryolophosaurus, Chasmosaurus, and Caudipteryx.
Kaiyodo Brachiosaurus and Allosaurus.
Furuta Spinosaurus.
Walking with Dinosaurs Hesperonychus.
There’s a red “Velociraptor” under the Carnotaurus but I don’t remember who made it, it’s likely a no-brand one that’s impossible to track down anyway.
Hope this helps!
