The way I see it?

The ones who have held power through hate, bigotry, and ignorance for so long? They’re scared. They’re scared because the world is growing beyond them, and they are slipping. They cannot hide behind their selfishness and privilege anymore, so they are trying to hold onto whatever measly amount of sway they have left.

Unfortunately, even a little sway can have a big impact, but in my opinion that kind of influence is fragile. It has no more strength than a piece of thread. Because this world - the one we were born into, the one we are developing together, the one we are changing just by EXISTING - has no need for them anymore.

We are a world connected across countries, across languages, across lifestyles, across socioeconomic lines, across gender and sexuality. Humans understand those who are different than them better than we ever have before, and because of that, we are sturdy against the propaganda, the ignorance, and the hate that the old and powerful try to lure us into.

It is alright to feel scared, sad, even angry. It is only natural. But do NOT give up hope. Do not believe it is a lost cause. Do not believe that there is nothing now that can be done. Do not believe that things cannot be salvaged, mended, and made even more beautiful.

Fight. Love. Believe. Lean On. Speak. Shout. Lead. Change.

Reproductive rights are human rights. Everyone stay safe. I love you all

Comfort starters

A small whine left the Corgi as she laid there in the large males lap, maybe it wasn't such a good idea to run down those steps after Erwin but she wanted to keep up and now...well now she had a splint on her front right paw which made it hard to walk.

She was thankful that the tall blond was kind enough to get her treated....even if it was her own fault for rushing after him in a panic. There were just so many people she was worried she'd lose track of him and then what? What would happen to him? He'd be left alone with his thoughts and she wouldn't be there to comfort him but it seems like he was comforting her now.

I love you Erwin, you are so kind to me. Thank you human for your generosity I shall repay you.

Is what she wanted to say as she'd lift her head to lick at the mans chin, her tail wagging slightly to show him how grateful she was....sure her leg still hurt like hell but she was thankful nonetheless.

And to think he was trying to make HER feel better....such a loving human she truly was lucky.

Hey all, long time no post! 

The above is design work I’ve done for the comic in making:

Outward 🚀💫

written by Brian Koffler and co-drawn by Gregory Wayne and myself.

It’s a hopeful diversely cast space adventure in the spirit of Star Trek TV shows of the 90s and is kickstarting right now. We are over 1/4 of the way there but we need more momentum on the project.

The writer is committed to honoring the philosophy of the story and paying the artists a fair wage for the labor we need to put into the book so we have farther to go than some other comics but I hope that enough people are willing to support us so we can fight against the history of devaluing the work of artists in the comics industry.

◦තව ඉතින් එයාල නොකිව්වට අපි කාටත් වැඩියෙන් එයාලට තියෙන ,පවුල් වල ආර්ථිකය පිළිබඳ ප්‍රශ්න නිසා, අපි හිතන් ඉන්නෙ වියළි ආහාර හා අධ්‍යාපන උපකරණත් එයාලට ගිහින් දෙන්න.

මේ පුංචි පැටවුන්ගෙ සිහිනවලට අලුත් බලාපොරොත්තුවක් දෙන්න අපිට පුලුවන් විදියට අපි උදව් කරමු. ඔයාලගෙ පුංචි සහයෝගයත් අපි ගොඩාක් අගයනවා!

LOVE LANGUAGE: QUALITY TIME STARTERS

The air was filled with rot and decay and from the looks of it there was a big disagreement between humans in this desolated town...why would the humans fight amongst one another? Isn't it easier to just get along and help one another?

It was hard to really know what went through a humans mind half the time, one moment they were happy the next they were yelling and trying to kill one another. She was currently walking along the town, stopping every few minutes to sniff and nudge at the bodies she came across....hmm, no that one was dead too...still there had to be some survivors right? Surely someone needed help.....were....all the humans dead?

No....she could hear feet shuffling up ahead. Her tail wagged as she quickly scampered over. Didn't take long for her to find the human shuffling about clearly still injured but seemed well enough to move....still the smell of fresh blood caused her to let out a little whine.

This human should be resting and they seemed to be the only survivor out here.

Moving quickly, she trotted up alongside the tall man and barked up at him. Hopefully she wouldn't startle him to much and get kicked....it's....happened before but she didn't seem to learn her lesson.

The majority of things in this world are out of our personal control. Which, to be frank, kind of sucks. However, do not let that dishearten you. Instead of dwelling on and worrying about the things that you can’t control and things that may or may not happen, you can acknowledge them and those negative feelings and use them to fuel what you can control. Instead of fear, live in preparedness. Instead of hatred, live in compassion. Instead of selfishness, live in hospitality. For the people whom you can’t help in the present moment, help the ones closest to you, as well as yourself. Take care of yourself, be kind, stay positive in any way you can. Be thankful for all things, live in the present, be kind to others. And live in love. Let us all emit positive and loving energy into the world - because otherwise the darkness would have consumed all of us a long time ago. One of my favorite quotes ever is: “The world is not enveloped in light, but it’s not all dark either.” Still, I believe the light still holds the majority, and I will cling onto that belief and remind others of it always.

Sending love to all those currently in darkness and hope that peaceful and wondrous times will be with them once again very soon. It always comes. Always.
