School Band:

- despite his chaos, Remus is actually the best player in his section

- Virgil isn't half bad either (going with sax on this one)

- Virgil has a solo once and Remus is staring with such "good googily moogily" desire that he almost misses his section's entrance

- at least one person in his section begging him to just stop being gay for one night so they can have a good concert (he doesn't) (don't they see Virgil with those black piercings to match his suit?) (and that perfect eyeliner?) (why don't they get it?) (Remus is a hot mess)

- Virgil once asked Remus why he was staring by asking "what? See something you like?" and Remus could've barked

- Virgil stares at Remus a lot more than Remus thinks (Remus thinks 0 times) because Remus cleans up really nice for a concert and Virgil's about to be twirling his faded-purple bangs and biting his lip piercings over this boy

- "25 bucks says they're dating before the end of the year" "you're on"

Rock Band:

- they both fumble flirting so ridiculously hard that they don't get each other's numbers and Roman has to give them to each other later (he is Big Disappointed)

- They text for a few days and Roman sees his brother genuinely excited over this boy and Romans like "c'mon, my best friend??? You picked my best friend???? Sorry Pat— MY BEST FRIEND?" but he's not angry just exasperated

- Remus gets brought to many many more concerts now (both as guard dog protection because, while Roman can protect himself and is very certain of it, he still doesn't like going random places alone. Personal headcanon of him, don't mind me AND because Virgil starts inviting him personally)

- How do you feel about Remus drooling over Virgil while he plays guitar? What feelings does this inspire? Why am I reading this like a therapist?

- Virgil will eventually write a song about Remus but it has so many metaphors that it takes Roman two months to figure it out (and the WRATH he rains down upon Virgil because WHY DID HE GET A SONG BEFORE ME WERE BEST FRIENDS but it's all in good fun)

- maybe Roman finds a pookie in one of Virgil's bandmates. Who knows.

ngl, they don't really, at least what's written/shown, most of the time. that's kinda more of a personal preference based on me though (😭). it definitely isn't something that's largely done/specific to dom reader fics

in some of my stuff they do but most of those were my earliest works (the first few requests/ideas that i had) because i found that's mostly what i saw in dom reader fics as a reader and i felt a little pressured to do the same, that people would only wanna read my stuff if it was like that too

when i started to get a hang of writing more i cared less about that and started to write more on my personal preferences and what was more comfortable to write/felt more authentic to me

i have my own issues regarding intimacy and feeling comfortable with receiving in general so mostly i leave that out just because it feels a little awkward for me to write

i'm more of a giver all in all,

ofc you guys can have your own interpretation of the ending and assume that the reader gets returned the favour afterward but mainly i won't write it unless specifically requested.

that being said, if it is requested i will write it. i'm not against it or anything, it's just not my favourite to write

Life Update 2023 summary

First of all, last year was complete shit and it's a torture to remember it again right now but for the sake of this blog well, I'm gonna endure it.

J A N U A R Y

- I got accepted at this BPO company that I've been talking about. I worked there for a month until I got sick and was terminated afterwards. Your girl was unemployed for months.

F E B R U A R Y

- After I recovered from being sick, Gek and I went to Pasacao beach for the first time and spent quality time together.

- Also DJ from high school suddenly hit me up but I just ignored it.

- started my online business, sold some pre-loved clothes and Carbonara. It was fun but really challenging

M A R C H

- Van my best friend went for a trip to Europe for 3 months so Gek, Mak and I had to stay together in one apartment without my dad knowing about it. I had to make up a lot of excuses for my dad cuz he's not gonna approve that I was living with 2 men.

- Holy Week? not sure but we got rat infestation here for the first time and ticks from Boris too.

A P R I L

- I started applying for a job and was scheduled for an interview like 2 jobs reached out to me (ADNU and Jollibee) but I didn't show up cuz I got cold feet. (not sure if this was in april, I might be tripping)

- Can't remember shit from this month

- Also started dieting and fasting this month onwards because of you know...

M A Y

- I got hired for a job!!! I went to work on my first day and I didn't feel like working there so after my lunch break, I didn't go back.

- also this might happen in april? I'm tripping again.

- Damn, the apartment got chaotic and awkward because my bff cheated on her man when she was in Europe and I was kinda involved with the drama. That shit was messy, had to deal with it until the both of them moved out.

- my bff went back from Europe and she talked with her man and they were fine again but I was left on red notice still and it hasn't been the same for months to come

- I got a job again at this start up company that my bff and I both applied for but spoiler alert, I didn't last long either

- because... I got bullied in this company and my bff told me I was just overreacting but it was so obvious that these fuckers were coming at me. Long story short I lasted for 2 weeks there but I still got paid. Fuck those assholes and C U R S E T H E M.

- took so long to get my period and I was anxious!!! Didn't do it with Gek or anyone but shit was scary when my period was late. Longest cycle ever and it actually affected my performance when I was still working.

- just unemployed. I barely remember what happened the month.

- probably stayed home ALL THE TIME.

- Peñafrancia festival just got sad because I had no friends to spend it with unlike the previous year when I used to ride the Vikings with them, this year just hit different.

- Bff and her man finally moved out so my man and I started living together, just the 2 of us.

- Stressed because how the fuck am I gonna pay the rent and bills in my apartment if I was unemployed? but I got it so I am fucking broke right now as we speak.

- Bf resigned from his job to become a delivery man and his schedule was flexible so we spent a lot of time together.

O C T O B E R

- worst fucking month of the year ever

- got a new job again but I lasted for 2 weeks only because I fucked shit up and this experience was probably the worst fucking one cuz literally it broke the remaining spirit I had and paralyzed me to go back in the field again.

Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West. Like this is THE game of the century that has to be played by everyone. One is just the absolutely ingenious concept of this futuristic world where humans are basically "restarting" and you have these tribes and clans and societies and the absolutely devotion and care that Guriella put into it to make it not just believable but absolutely realistic. I'm telling you, my Anthrpological heart SOARS because they did their research, the dung in deep and hard and did not skimp on ANYTHING. Not just that, but Aloy. FREAKING ALOY! THIS BEAUTIFUL AMAZING FEMALE PROTAGONIST THAT IS UNFORGIVING AND RUTHLESS BUT KIND AND COMPASSIONATE! Like fuck yeah, this woman is tender but she's not soft. She is bold but not arrogant. She knows her shit and she knows it good!

Just omfg, If anything, play the game for Aloy! And look at her!

she has features that I don't often see in Protagonist!! She has a round face, a soft chin, she has sunburnt cheeks and wild hair. She's not tall and she has no hour glass figure. She is literally, not something I've seen in term of female characters and yet SHE'S ABSOLUTELY PERFECT AND AMAZING AND I WILL NOT ALLOW ANYONE TO HURT HER!!!

Okay, but then, THEN! IF THAT ISN'T ENOUGH!!! The features in the game itself. These producors, artist, everyone behind it who created HZD/HFW went into depth to create believable beautiful scenary in the game. I'm sorry, but I am one of those players that love graphics. I LOVE IMMERSING MYSELF IN BEAUTIFUL SCENARY! And let me tell you not only is the scenery beautiful BUT THEY USE REAL LIFE LOCATIONS!

From the Last Vegas Strip to The Golden Gate Bridge. There is Zion Human History Museum and Karl G. Jansky Very Large Array. You also revisit places like Sequoia National Park or Los Angeles Aqueduct. And these are locations in California, New Mexico, Nevada, places up in Colorado and Utah. I mean DAMN! I CAN SHOW YOU ALL THE PICTURES!!!

And The characterization! Each character is 3D, complex and in depth. You got villains yes, but these villains are just, so much more then black and white. Their history, reasoning, why tehy are. Like hell, DO NOT GIVE REGALLA A DAMN REDEMPTION ARC! There is no need for it, because Regalla in her right is a hero in her eyes! Like the woman feels absolutely betrayed by her clan and what she went through can you blame her? Like I'm sorry, but I love how unforgiving she is and that she won't say she's sorry because in her eyes, she is right. And I love this complexity in characters! And the Zenith, holy shit! HOLY SHIT! And then Aloy's characterization and her absolute growth form Horizon Zero Dawn to Horizon Forbidden WEst and omfg I can't what for Horizon 3 to see what happens just.

I will stop now, but I literally, this game. THIS GAME! This is the only game that matters to me. I have replayed HZD and HFW at least 10 times each. There is so much in them and it never ends. I love these games and I so suggest playing them <3
