I made a whole resume only for the application to not accept resumes. The application rerouted me to Google forms where I had to take some knockoff personality quiz.

I’m just saying that less than a decade ago I walked into stores with a resume and walked out of stores with a job. Less than ten years ago, I didn’t have to block off three hours of my evening after my full time job to fill out ONE application. Less than ten years ago, I didn’t have to tailor every single resume to get past AI.

Like how much work do these employers think I’m willing to do for free? If you want me to do the work of a hiring manager, put me on the payroll first.
