The original. unless you've told someone else ab them and they've said the same thing so we have to compete (i cant fight so i hope u havent 😓😓 2yrs of martial arts in primary school has done nothing for me bye). It was still dark out. It wasn't often that any of them slept at the same time, and rarer still that they all stayed asleep. At the first sign of sunlight, Bdubs was, more often than not, compelled to rise, do something, anything. It was routine, it was scheduled. But when he awoke just before dawn was spilling in the windows, just when, if he tilted his head right and peered through the half open curtain, he could see a stripe of yellow sky, he laid back down.

Etho shifted beside him. When Bdubs had lifted himself up onto his elbow to look out the window, hoping, just for a moment, that he could stay (and had been granted that) he had untangled himself from the arm slung over his chest. Etho, half asleep more than anything, wriggled back over. He pressed his face into the side of Bdubs' neck, nosing at the underside of his jaw. Bdubs turned awkwardly to kiss any part of his face that he could reach (along his hairline, mostly, with the way Etho was crammed in next to him). Etho sighed, hummed, and weakly squeezed his ribs, where his hand was tucked up under his arm. He took Etho's other hand, pinned next to his side. In the dark he traced out the ridges of his knuckles and listened to him sigh, deep and satisfied, into the curve of his neck.

Cleo, on the other hand, had not moved from her previous position, face down with her face in the pillows. Her arm was still lazily draped over Bdubs' hip. She lifted her hand only to spider it over Bdubs' wrist blindly, latching instead onto Etho's hand. He was tangled in arms, it seemed. Resigned, Bdubs sighed. He wriggled his other arm free after a moment from where it lay by his side, careful not to bump Etho’s arm across his chest. He mapped a line with his fingertips across Cleo’s forearm, as if feeling out the bones underneath. Her skin was cool, unlike the warmth that radiated off of Etho. Cleo hummed, only once, before she sighed, and, for all intents and purposes, went back to sleep.

Bdubs’ chest was full of something so very warm and soft, snuggling up next to his heart and lungs in full flourish. 

But the sun was beginning to creep up on the horizon, and part of him knew that he would be lying here. He wouldn’t be able to sleep. No, as much as he wanted to will himself to stay in the cradle of Etho and Cleo’s arms, he couldn’t. Not because he didn’t want to, but because if he never got up, they wouldn’t either.

Much to his surprise, neither fought as he untangled himself, smoothing back the blankets and whispering apologies. He bent over to press his cheek against Cleo’s shoulder and to kiss the curve of it, some semblance of a hug goodbye. He could hear her heart thud away in her chest. He repeated the steps with Etho, brushing his hair away from his face and watching it relax as he dipped to kiss his temple. 

Bdubs trailed, rubbing sleep from his eyes, still pajama clad, to the kitchen. There, he rinsed and filled the kettle and set it on the stove. He lined three cups in neat order and let the tea leaves boil. There was bread that needed to be finished. No eggs. Jam. Butter. He let the kettle boil, stretching and pulling his arms above his head. He twisted, feeling his muscles stretch. When he was finished, the steam was rising from the kettle and he lifted it, poured out three cups, and let the rest sit on the back burner. 

There was no sign yet of Etho and Cleo.

Bdubs sighed.

Shuffling from the kitchen, he took the two flights up, blurry vision clear. The sun was nearly up the horizon now, long stretches of yellow and orange and purple tickling the blue-black sky. He watched for a moment, seeing wisps of clouds tangle in the color. 

When he reached the room, a pale orange bar of sun cut through the curtains. He wouldn’t dare open them—not yet. There wasn’t any need to be so cruel to the two still sleeping figures in bed. Bdubs smiled to himself. Cleo’s arm had made its way over to Etho’s shoulder, wrist balanced on the curve of it. They curved toward each other like a set of parentheses, half buried beneath mismatched quilts and flannel fabric sheets. Bdubs watched the nearly synchronous rise and fall of their shoulders for a long moment, leaning against the doorframe, arms folded. It was a quiet moment he rarely got, to see either of them before they woke. No matter how often he saw them together, it was something that took his heart and gave it a squeeze of longing. He sighed.

Then, he moved to the curtain, and pulled it open.

“Up and at ‘em, you two. Tea’s ready.”

Cleo let out a muffled groan, and Etho did little to stop her from fully covering them both with the blanket they were sharing. He could hear them mumbling to themselves, some devious plan to get back at him when all was said and done.

Bdubs smiled. Part of him felt like he kind of deserved it.

Is important imo ANYWAY miharu goes by they/them and i should really delve deeper into their journey w gender but ill do that later miharu LOVES plants and is canonically the most charismatic of the six members of crescendo. one of the members has a body pillow of them . anyway they also have a Blood Feud with one of the other characters for a very silly reason (they found him annoying Once and said character thoughy it was funny to piss them off but they have an amazing friendhsip and parts of miharus arc(s) heavily involves them relying on said character and auhagrhrgrhhrgrhrh) also they have a hard time relying on others and showing any weaknesses but crescendo help with that!!!!!! also also before this current year of the rp they took a gap year from all of their idol acitivites and actor gigs because of Depression, Likely- anywho they also are in the gardenia circle and dramatica circle! and theyre in theyre 3rd year of Es Academy (this is due to some background lore for the rp, which i forgot to say the name of i think . its sing as one! <! is included in the title) anywho fun fact miharu has been compared to hiyori in universe before and they HATE IT not bc miharu hates hiyori they just dont like being compared
