by the time she’s back—with pillows—he’s sat up on the couch, knees apart and finger jabbing enthusiastically at the screen.  pride in his eyes.   “what do you mean?”   he asks, voice edged with a hint of disappointment at her ill-reception.  “oh!”  he leans forward, jerking something shiny and supposedly dangerous from his belt.   “forgot about this.  no wonder i was so uncomfortable before.”   he places it onto the coffee table, so hana can see.  he yearned to aim it at something, squeeze the trigger, but something told him to hold off.   “the man waved that around in my face.  i think he was trying to rob me.”   it was exhilarating.   “but he was sloppy.  and i had this.”   from his boot, he produces the murder weapon: a parring knife, borrowed from hana’s kitchen.  he twirls the handle nonchalantly between his fingers, smirking at the idiot’s mug as it’s flashing to some other local issue—astarion’s unable to focus on it with hana giving him that look.   “—killing is all i know!  you cannot place these ridiculous constraints on me.  how am i to have any fun?  feed?!  you said there were no forests around here!” none he was allowed to hunt in, anyway.

Hana hands the two pillows in her arms to Astarion. Naturally, he's not getting all the pillows, otherwise she won't be left with any. Make sure a guest is comfortable, but she is not about to sacrifice her own comfort and wake up for the next two weeks with a sore neck just because he wants more. Thankfully, it's not an issue for too much longer as Astarion finds himself enthralled in the TV (it's like magic, apparently, despite her reassurances that no, it's just technology). At his insistence, Hana looks at the TV. The man you... 'The man you killed?' Her attention snaps instead to Astarion. She takes a moment to think it over. The man's a vampire, a being classically known for drinking blood, for bringing about the end of the lives of others. The initial surprise aside, she probably should have been expecting this. 'Okay,' she sighs. 'If you're gonna stay here - and by here I mean anywhere on this planet - we need to set down some ground rules. The first is that you can't just, like, go around killing people.'

HEAVY HEAVY HEAVY SPOILERS BELOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

or starters, seems will is def confirmed to have been an asshole from the start, along with Henry being way more ehhhh than we thought. and tbh I still think it would be a rlly fun dynamic to have him either love only his family or have gone crazy out of grief, but that’s obviously not where they’re going and I’m kind of ok with that for the most part? I think it’s less interesting if u take all the games into account, but it makes the story MORE intriguing in general and open to more games which is FUCKIN AWESOME!!! I’m gonna continue my own “au” (I never knew whether to declare my interpretation of afton as an au or not…? pls give thoughts on that gahhhh) where he’s alongside Henry and Edwin in developing the animatronics bc I just prefer that *personally* (like as far as game direction and story goes it’s way better what they did here) but I’m really happy w the game!!!!!! I think it’s the perfect direction for fnaf to go in :) but Ough I have so many ideas now. I guess what I’m saying is I love the new direction but I also love the persona I’ve imagined for the aftons and stuff so I’m happy overall that it’s so diverse. The main game needed a twist like this I think. IDKKKKK I’m sooooooo down to talk more abt it heheheheheheheeee ITS SO GOOD IM GONNA SCREAMMMMMMMM
