Here’s a little description of things I love and envy

I’m from the Indian subcontinent.

Spent my entire childhood between mountains and valleys. For a change shifted to Delhi which I regret tremendously.

I love farming, gardening, stitching clothes, crocheting, writing poems and maintaining a journal.

I enjoy long walks and bicycle rides.

I prefer going to a bookstore or a restaurant all by myself. I love self-dates.

I want to settle someday at an unknown meadow with mountains and lakes at a cottage core house, with big windows and minimalistic furniture with a wooden chimney, a library with some cats and the man I love.

I’m a student, fortunately academically gifted/blessed.

I did my undergrad from Indraprastha college for women under the university of Delhi in the discipline of geography Hons. Currently pursuing my masters from Jamia Millia Islamia.

I love movies; and my favourite genre is dystopian reality. So far I have watched 750+ movies which include almost every linguistic diversity as I strongly believe in the adherence of, “you can’t find gold unless you dig the dirt.”

I love reading books, like a lot. I can speak 5 different languages and out of them, 3 languages are engraved within my system. Starting from Greek Literature Iliad by Homer to metaphysics by aristotle; reading short stories of Rabindranath Tagore in Bengali as well as reciting Gazals of Gulzar in Hindi itself, I believe I have defined base in my own culture as well as to others. Again, when it comes to dystopian, I envy reading The Hunger Games and The Maze Runners. Do Androids dream of electric sheep? Comes under my top 5 dystopian reads; as this book was later adopted into a world class movie franchise called The Blade Runner. I lean towards Harry Potter more than The Lord of the Rings. I have read A song of ice and fire which people are so batshit crazy about and famously known as the “Game of thrones.” I didn’t watch a single episode but I know more than any fan I believe.

If you intervene and ask, then yeah you can think of me as a “nerd” hehehe because my preference and taste of things leans towards being more of geek tbh🩷🩷

I also enjoy watching animated series/anime and sit coms. I’m a sucker for The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon and will rewatch them for an eternity if asked. My favourite anime is Gintama but the list is peculiar and long as I have been watching anime/reading manga since I was 9 years old. My first anime was Dragon Ball z and Pokémon. I also watched Doraemon and Shinchan series/movies. The list goes on when it comes to entertainment but mine is more restricted than common which people watch out of peer pressure. So here we go again:

Last week i was on holiday and we were in an arcade.

Now, for context, recently me and my bestie have been rewatching a bunch of childhood films and stuff together, and one of the ones we really got reinvested in was httyd. Rn were actually watching rtte together! :3

So when i saw a httyd claw machine with Toothless, the light fury and a few nightlights in it, of course my immediate natural response was

... but my stupid ass still proceeded to spend £10 trying to win him

After i had sacrificed my money to the addictive shame hole that is the coin slot, my little 6 year old nephew came over and was like "i wanna try!", so i stepped aside and, frustrated, made a comment to my mom about how "I swear if he wins one now its rigged"

And guess what?

HE FUCKIN WON ONE

The universe decided to spite me and mustve found it absolutely hilarious, as this child who was barely tall enough to reach the controls walked away happily with his new dragon friend.

Safe to say, i went to bed that night very salty XD

I came back to the arcade the next night with an absolute VENGEANCE

I marched straight over to that machine and continued to throw money into the abyss

I very well couldve just bought a plush from somewhere (which was likely the much smarter thing to do) but now it was a matter of goddamn principle, and i was ready to fistfight lady luck at any second

After i wasted another solid £15, my nephew once again bounces his way over to me and asks to have a go

My exasperated, frustrated ass just tells him to go right ahead and steps aside, quite frankly on the verge of just punching through the glass and reaching in to grab the plush myself.

He puts in his coin

The claw drops

It grabs the plush

AND HE FUCKIN WINS IT

He very excitedly got it out of the machine and then gave it to me, since he already had one, it was the one i wanted, and i spent alot of money trying to get it

And so in return for Toothless, i let him pick out some yarn and made him a sweater for his dragon XD

Writblr Introduction

After being around for a month now, it is time for a proper introduction. I am Wynne, your queer 40 years old friendly neighborhood hag with a love for fantasy, sci-fi and romance. I am genderfluid, pansexual and probably aromantic and don't care about pronouns, so I react to she/her, he/him and they/them.

I had been writing since I was little, same with drawing, but whenever life became stressful I stopped with both because I get overstimulated and overwhelmed easy. The last break from writing is now seven years? I think it is seven years, and happened because I got diagnosed inflammatory rheumatism at a young age. Yeah, I also never thought this is possible, but here I am. I have good days and bad days, and thankfully there is a treatment that works.

Coming back to Tumblr happened after I was like: I wanna write again, and my friend @pheita started bugging me to come back to Tumblr and that writblr is in her opinion still the best community even if things changed a lot.

I know, I am a discovery writer and my stuff can be pretty disorganized while I write. (I am not looking into a certain direction with a pleading look for handmade notebooks) With this, you have to deal with me jumping around in my own timeline. I am sorry for this, folks, that's how I am. I also write for fun, because I love creating stuff in every shape or form.

Thankfully, I found a WIP fast, and it is also partially pheita's fault because she told me the idea of a nekomata necromancer and then the flashfic Friday prompt happened and I asked her if it is ok to use her idea, and she was like: yeah, go wild with it. So here we are. I am pretty sure she had a badass character in mind with this, and not what I made of Feyre.

Anyway, "Their Call For Home" is a high fantasy story with multiple POV's about a gang of misfits who happen to get entangled in the politics of the city of Mer'Teval and what the plan of the gods were for the city, only to become the leaders of a rebellion against the tyrannic new king. It has two romance side-plots, a straight and a lesbian one, and comes with found family and accidental heroes. I take some inspiration from Dragon Age, Elder Scrolls and various pen and paper games I used to play that were based on D&D. You can find more here in this intro and masterpost. My other WIP is called "Moon Daughter" and you can find the WIP Intro here. It is a werewolf romance/supernatural romance story about Mika who learns she is a werewolf by birth and also the lost daughter of an alpha whose pack tried to find her since she got born but couldn't until recently. With her father dead after an attack, the pack now needs her to be the leader and she has to learn how to be a werewolf and the pack leader in lightspeed.

Things you can expect from my writing in general:

I don't ignore the facts of life, therefore my characters will endure bad things which means there will be mentions of events like emotional abuse, physical abuse, toxic relationships, neglect, and violence. Don't worry, I will warn beforehand in a post if those things appear

Sex is part of life, and you can bet your phones on me writing NSFW scenes when I see them fit. I am also not fond of too many of them in stories, so you don't need to worry about my stuff being erotica in disguise. IF I write erotica, I mark it as such.

A wild mix of straight and queer couples, and heck, even if the couples might be physiological a male and a female doesn't mean it's straight. You know, what I am talking about.

Found families, family clans, out of the box relationships of all variations, if I feel fancy there might be a play on soulmates

There will always be cats in some shape or form. I love cats

The characters having a varying age from early twenties to mid-forties.

Besides writing, and drawing if you read closely, I love videogames (thanks to my dad I grew up on every damn console that was out there), my little balcony garden, crocheting and knitting even if knitting can be pretty hard in my hands because of the damn rheumatism. FAV. COLOR: im terrible when it comes to this question because i love a lot of very specific colors because artist brain BUT... If I had to pick one. Probably a red-y brown-y color. I REALLY like warm and neutral colors ( though Quillheel's pallet probably wouldn't invoke that thought ) though i also like a lot of neutral and cooler colors. you can basically reference a rainbow for my preferred colors but even with blue at the bottom ( I'm a big purple-enjoyer ) i still enjoy what good usage of it can do <3

FAV. BOOK: the long walk by stephen king, inkheart by cornelia funke, or frankenstein by mary shelley <3 love different aspects of all of them, though inkheart was a big part of my childhood so i'm biased BHHGTR

LAST MOVIE / SHOW: UHHH wolfwalkers! VERY good i really liked it <3 i wanna rewatch song of the sea eventually, too! that ones also a favorite. the last show would probably be season 3 of infinity train ( I still resist the temptation to add Simon sometimes. he is such a terrible yet interesting little man ) or finally finishing watching hisuian snow :]

RECENT READ: if fanfiction doesnt count ( if it Does then wander boy by poptod, which is surprising its not one of the HUGE amounts of disco elysium fanfiction i've been chewing on lately ) then probably i think frankenstein by mary shelley, which i picked up and began reading but didn't finish :( still the most recent though! I wanna actually finish that + reread the long walk + read a bunch of other books, like the song of achilles by madeline miller, circe by madeline miller, orange world and other stories by karen russle, memorial: a version of homers illiad by alice oswald, the haunting of hill house by shirley jackson, good omens by neil gaiman and terry pratchett, the city & the city by china mieville, etc etc etc! ( if you guys have any suggestions actually, feel free to send em my way! )

INSPIRATION: horror! especially slashers, psychological horror, and 'bloodbath' horror ( selectively! carrie's got the vibes, saw does NOT ), psychological writing in general, a bunch of the books i have or plan on reading, mythology & legends, fanfiction and composition, music ( especially the weakerthans, the narcissist cookbook, hozier, etc ), poetry, and just!! learning methods of how things Generally are made, ig! how people paint, how people make clothes and make fabric, how people grow plants. i take a lot of inspiration from unexpected places, but a lot of those places are the act of creation in of itself. my writing might only be writing, but i try to embody a sense of color to it, of an artstyle you can almost taste, yknow? the composition in shows where blues look almost green and its like the world is basked in paint and there's just a feeling, indescribable, contextual but potent in of itself, the feeling of small moments everywhere, all at once, all the time. THAT SOUNDS REALLY PRETENTIOUS BUT LIKE... its true, yknow!! i like to embody a feeling in my writing, and i go to a lot of places to find it.

STORY BEHIND URL: once, a long time ago, my oc multimuse @cassiopiia was named orphic-ruin, and quillheel came second in my blogs list. i wanted them to match! so i thought of storytelling, which went to writing, then to pens, then to quills! and the 'heel' part comes from achilles heel, or the achilles tendon! as well as having ties to hermes' winged feet. in a way, its kinda saying 'vulnerable storyteller' or 'half-divine legend' or even kinda like a title or epithet vibe wise like you might find on a mythological figure ( ex: quill-heeled ) or something like that, which i think still fits the vibe p well to this day! if i did change the URL, idk what I'd make it now! i might eventually, but yeah!

It definitely didn't get better since I've gotten him for the first time and it wont get better cause I recently C6 the motherfucker. Fuck this guy, I love him so much.

I SPECIFICALLY love this dudes backstory. The way he learns how to fucking heal himself after getting stabbed in the throat, his annoying cocky attitude he has during a fight, he's a little piece of shit that I love so much. I haven't been simping for him recently, but with the new season coming out (WHICH IS HIS BACKSTORY BY THE WAY) it just might come back. I also bought a $200 figure of him. Worth every penny.

Dragons

Yes, I have been called a furry/scaley multiple times. I will deny it. I've been in denial for years now. Dragons are just the coolest things though. Shenron? Dude grants wishes, he's cool as fuck. Zhongli? My guy is an ex-archon and his backstory is badass. Every single Dragon type in Pokémon? There's a 90% chance they'll be in my team even when they're NOT dragon shaped. Jormangundr, Kukulkan, and Tiamat in Smite? Yeah, I main them, and yes they're all diamond. Point being, dragons are fucking cool.

"Kawaii"/Japanese Aesthetics

Pink isn't my favorite color, but it is a color I like to wear. Sakura blossoms, cats, Torii gates, tea, etc. Yeah, I'll happily vibe with it. Animal themed clothings (Bear ear berets, Cat ear beanies, Frog hoodies) an absolute MUST. I almost bought Hello Kitty stuff multiple times cause it was cute.

So yeah, that is me. Pretty sure I missed stuff but oh well. 🤷‍♀️ Hopefully I'll adjust well here, but it shouldn't be too much of a problem. If you somehow reached to the bottom of this post while reading everything, I'm very fucking impressed. So I guess 2023 is me officially starting this account up.

Into the Void (Tolkien, ongoing): My little Angbang series with the first part The Spring of Arda marred complete, first part about the seduction of Mairon and how he became a Maia of Melkor

Earenis (Tolkien, technically complete): what once started as a not really serious persiflage of Mary Sues became much more serious very quickly. Technically complete, because the German text is complete (except for a few chapters in the third part), but I have to finish translating it. Earenis is half elf, half orc and the chosen one to stop a new enemy, a servant of Sauron (as I said, she should have been a Mary Sue, lol). However, thing don’t turn out quite as expected. Plus dragons. Always put dragons in it.

Fae barad - Foreign soul (Tolkien, complete): Legolas lands in modern day London and needs to find a way back in his time

Elrond’s diaries (Tolkien, ongoing, open end), simply as the title says. Currently in a state of reworking, I post as I go, won’t have a definite end

The right hand of death (The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivlion, technically complete): life and work of Lucien Lachance and how he started as a street urching and ended as one of the Dark Brotherhood’s most talented assassins; technically complete because the German text is long finished, I just have to continue translating it. If I may say so I still think this is my best text

Roots (Naruto, complete): founding of Konoha with focus on Hashirama’s and Madara’s relationship (because HashiMada is canon, you can’t convince me otherwise) and the problems they have to face in realization of their shared dream. Not all things go as smoothly as they wish for.

Adamantine (Naruto, finished): The AU, in which the Uzumaki women solve every problem Konoha ever had, simply because Uzumaki supremacy. Kabuto summons Mito and Kushina with Edo Tensei, but Mito breaks out of his control and together with Kushina take on the Juubi. The war is won, Madara never goes full on crazy and my OT3 HashiMadaMito finally gets some time together. Zetsu gets yeeted into the abyss where he belongs.

Krigsgaldr (Naruto, finished): the AU where cute little murder bean Izuna is allowed to live. Only three years after they got separated Hashirama and Madara meet again and plan to end the war. Because you just can't separate them! Heavily influenced by the aesthetics of Heilung (hence the title, which translates to war chant in Old Norse). Bonus for queer teenagers and nonbinary Izuna (Izuna, the character who’s completely made of anger and the rest is awesome projection surface, because Kishimoto tells us literally nothing about him). First part of my Butterfly Verse.

Butterfly Effect (Naruto, finished): Once Tobirama spared Izuna's life. Now it's Izuna's time to save Tobirama. As in the Kinkaku force gets their asses kicked by ferral Izuna. Part of the Butterfly Verse.

Until Eternity (Naruto, finished): Ghost AU, where Naruto ends up with the ghost of Madara (spice it up with Kurama), Sasuke with the ghost of Hashirama and Sakura with the ghost of Mito. Edo Tensei Tobirama is in there as well for some obscure reason because I write this.

Underneath the Silence (Naruto, ongoing): TobiMina timetravel fix-it, where Tobirama escapes the Kinkaku Force, but lands in modern day Konoha where Minato is currently Hokage. Nearly everyone he knows is dead and he struggles to find his place in this new world. And then Kyubi attacks, hupsi 😇

水の音 (mizu no oto): Sound of Water (Naruto, finished): Transmasc Tobirama invents transition and ends the war with it.

Unpublished stuff I’m currently working on

War in Eregion (Tolkien), this is probably not the final title. Technically the third part of my Angbang series, but can be read separately. It’s about Elrond trying to establish his spot in the politics of Lindon, Gil-galad trying his best as (not so) new king and Sauron worming his way into his enemies’ ranks

The Bliss of Valinor (Tolkien): second Angbang text about Mairon further establishing himself as new Lieutnant of Angband and spy for Melkor in Valinor

Ghost of Uchiha (Naruto), modern AU, Madara has a habbit of adopting little lost Uchiha kids (as in Obito, Itachi and Sasuke) and accidentially starts a collection (will be a bit more serious, than this description sounds, lol), OT3 HashiMadaMito, I’m throwing all my queer headcanons for them in this. Also cockatiels. Just because. And nobody can stop me from writing my own tiels into this!

Mirrors: The AU where Tsunade has to learn that her Grandpa maybe was not the person who she thinks he was. Aka suddenly she has to deal with a Sharingan. (Aka that's what's happening when I bullshit around)

Neon Dream: Cyberpunk AU of Team Minato, imagine a meshup between Cyberpunk 2077 and Horizon

Akatsuki!Minato: He defects from Konoha together with Kushina and his team and Akatuski happens. Just in a slightly different way.

Stuff I haven’t started yet but have (vague) ideas for

What if Maedhros found Eluréd and Elurín, because more kidnapdoption is always good, but add even more drama and hurt and angst. Will turn out a bit more bittersweet than Childhood memories. Will be multi chaptered and is in fact already fully plotted (wow, what’s wrong with me o.0)

Maedhros lives and goes with Elros to Númenor. The Lords of Númenor think their King an inexperienced kid despite the fact that Elros is much older than most of them. Maedhros teaches them otherwise. Plus some cultural differences, because Elros is, after all, raised as Noldo. Problably an oneshot (but who knows).

A long oneshot or a short longfic about Cicero and how he became the jester of the Dark Brotherhood and Keeper of the Night Mother. (You’re just a mean cutthroat if you betray his trust in his Listener and kill him! 😤) Based on his diaries.

A spin off to The right hand of death with the backstory of Vicente Valtieri and how he becase a vampire and ended up with the Dark Brotherhood. Definitely multi chaptered

Born to Live, second part of Roots, currently in a state of ploting, Mito will be focus character.

I apologize in advance. I have dumb bitch don’t shut up disease. There’s nothing I can do 🤷‍♂️

The elephant in the room: I’m neurodivergent. A mix of adhd and autism. I was born with disabilities. I have Chairi type 2, I did get surgery as kid for it, and an auto-inflammatory disorder as the biggest in my life. Chronic migraines, joint and muscle pain, stomach issues etc. I take meds to help and try to keep up with low impact activities. I do get an injection for the auto-inflammatory disease and then botox and nerve blocks injections in my head and shoulders for intense muscle stiffness. Hurts like hell but it helps me a lot. 

Personality: I’m quite low energy and quiet most of the time. I like familiarity and having to change how I do something stresses me out hard. I try to appear calm and sarcastic but I’m a lot more sensitive than what I want to admit. Rejection sensitivity dysphoria messes me up bad and I’m generally an anxious person. I do have a knack for analyzing things. I can get too involved the world’s problems with this but also pinpoint how someone feels and maybe why once I notice their pattern. I really want to make people happier. If a loved one asks me to jump, I’ll ask how high. As for humor, I adore stupid tumblr and gen z humor. Me and the boys DO go out looking for beans thank you for asking. 

Hobbies: I love some existential games. Little Nightmares 1 and 2 are iconic. I could go on and on about the symbolism. Speaking of, once again I like to analyze. Media analysis is a fun pastime for me. As I said, I get into larger issues and I find different media’s are wonderful media for exploring them, specially horror. My new thing is horror podcasts. Archive 81 is my favorite rn. I’ve been trying to nurture my inner kid. I have plushies that I sleep with and ones that I attach to my bag to bring with me places. I wanna rewatch some childhood shows/movies like Monster High, Barbie, and Pokémon. I’ve been sewing and crocheting a lot. I made a stuffed whale with a starry looking yarn. Space whale ❤️. I draw and paint a ton. I like gauche, markers, pencils, and digital but I wanna go back to sketches. I like learning, it sounds so dumb but it’s true. I wanna go into a research field actually, specially with birds. I really like animals in general though. I have some dogs and cats and a bearded dragon. I have a sorts punk-cryptidcore-fairycore thing going on. I really expressing it through clothing and eye and lip makeup. I’m a big lipstick fan. I always wear it out. I like big and bold eyeshadow looks. I want to be soft and huggable while also looking like I came from hell.

Pet Peeves: If I say I’m busy or not in the mood, I really need that person to listen. I get into angry moods sometimes and just need to be left alone. I hate feeling like that and I despise snapping at people. Talking over me every time. I got in trouble a lot for interrupting so now I’m very cautious about it and I’d like the same. In the same vain, never listening to what I’m trying to say. I’m excited or invested in something and then they keep talking to someone else or looking at their phone. I have bad sensory issues. Don’t bother me about it. I can eat a sandwich one day and the next it makes sick. I don’t know why, don’t ask. I also can’t stand a variety of sounds. It doesn’t matter if it isn’t loud, I can hear it and it hurts. 

Dealbreakers: I hate being brushed off when I’m upset. I rarely communicate it, so when I do it’s a leap of faith from my perspective. I don’t want to be told I’m being defensive or emotional or be left alone.

Values: I hate so much about the world currently, and a lot of it is how people don’t question things. Why is this necessary if it causes hurt? Do we need it? Can we alter it? I find a lot of good people agree on fixing things but don’t understand the deeper issues that cause them. I guess I really value compassion. From a scientific standpoint, humans got so far by being really good at taking care of each other. We took care of the sick and elderly and cared for babies and children. I want things to better for my younger siblings and their kids. I truly believe in silent rebellions and hope in dark places. I’m disabled, very very queer and a lot of my family are immigrants. I’m very proud. So many people and systems tried stop me but I’m still very alive. I think living as happily and indulgently as I can is the best F you to those people and systems.

He an amazing communicator and is so forgiving and compassionate. If you’re looking for a respectful boy, paps is your man. He’s good with quirky partners and rolls with it well. Especially if you’re willing to entertain his own quirks in return.

One thing about humans that he’s super jealous of is lips lol. Papyrus jokes about wishing he could feel his “hair” in the breeze, but if he had lips, you’d bet he’d be wearing lipstick every day too. He adores it when you wear yours and will pretend not to notice if you ever leave lipstick stains on his cheek lol

He doesn’t get gen z humor very well, but does enjoy the dirtier jokes. He won’t admit that though! Gotta keep up his good boy image!

Ohh I fell out of it for some time so some of my favourite projects are p old now, though I’ve v v slowly been sewing a patch I bought forever ago to a jacket I forget to wear because of it

I guess the one that stands out is like (this is showing its age lol) when I was bigger on homestuck I did that one scalemate pattern that was going around so I’ve got a full hand-stitched fleece dragon with a squeaker inside haha I was going to make a second cause I had so much fleece but then forgot partway through so there’s also just a disembodied head floating around

seeing some stuff recently has made me wanna try crocheting/knitting some clothes sometime though! I’ve always avoided it cause consistent tension is hard but I’ve already made way too many little toy things over the years than I know what to do with haha
