Rosquez OnlyFans AU, part 6
Still no porn, sorry. We're almost back to the porn! Marc is sad, Alex is a good baby brother, the sausage dogs make an appearance. Uccio returns.
Marc continues posting. It’s his job, and he likes doing it, but every time he logs in and doesn’t have a notification from Valentino, it’s like a fresh wound. He just wants the chance to apologize, or beg for forgiveness, or say anything. He wants to start over. He wants to go back to the way he could spend all day thinking about Valentino; the way he was consumed with affection and desire for the other man.
All along, not knowing that he was talking to Valentino Fucking Rossi.
He obsessively stalks Valentino’s social media; he was already following him on everything, but now he pays special attention. He turns on post notifications for Vale’s instagram so he can be one of the first people to like anything he posts.
Part of him wonders if Valentino will notice and block him. He contemplates DM’ing him, then realizes he probably doesn’t manage his own social media and he definitely won’t check DM’s from some random person.
He just wishes he could talk to him.
He manages to sweet talk Alex into coming to the Catalan GP with him. Tickets are easy to get, and it’s not like he has to miss work for it.
“He’s not going to spot you in the grandstand, recognize your face, and decide to fall in love with you,” Alex says, flatly, as Marc is completing his 47-step skincare routine as they prepare to leave on the Friday of the GP.
“Fuck off,” Marc says, as if he hadn’t fantasized about that very scenario. “The universe will make something happen. I just want a chance to talk to him.”
“He’s racing, Marc. What, do you expect him to pull off to the side of the track and stop for a chat?”
“I’ll see him in the paddock,” he responds, with a huff.
“When will you be in the paddock?”
“We have passes,” Marc says with a grin.
Alex rolls his eyes.
“You think Valentino Rossi will make an appearance for a paddock tour? Bullshit. And even if he did, he wouldn’t stop to talk. Even if he does recognize you, which he probably won’t, unless you take your cock out, which will just get us removed from the paddock. How much did you spend on those, anyway?”
Marc huffs.
“Stop being an asshole and let’s go.”
The paddock is crowded and overwhelming, even on a Friday. Marc is grateful for Alex’s height, as he tugs Marc along. He is temporarily stunned out of his quest to see Vale by running into Dani Pedrosa.
“Oh! Sorry!” Dani says, and Marc stares at him with wide eyes.
“Are you okay?” Dani asks, incredulously.
“I’m fine!” Marc says, voice coming out entirely too high. “Will you sign my hat?”
Dani laughs and signs his hat, as well as Alex’s. He doesn’t have time to stay to chat, but Marc is nearly wheezing from nerves as he walks away anyway.
“That was worth whatever you paid for these, even if you don’t see your boyfriend,” Alex says, cradling his hat in his hands.
They wander a little bit longer, making a point to linger near the Yamaha motorhome.
“Hey!” Marc hears. “You!”
He and Alex turn to see an angry man walking their way. Marc shares a look with his brother.
“You are Marc, no?” the man says, and for a moment Marc wonders if Vale has noticed him. Maybe his fairytale is falling into place.
“Yes!” he says, smiling at the man.
“You can’t be here,” he says, at once crushing Marc’s hopes and dreams. “You cannot be here. You have to leave.”
“But we have-” Alex says, trying to step in.
“No,” the man says, holding up a hand. “Security is on the way. You need to leave and not come back.”
“But-”
“No!” the man says.
At that point, security arrives. They escort Marc and Alex from the paddock, and Marc’s hands are shaking by the time they leave.
He manages to charm security into not cancelling their tickets for the race, just their paddock access, but it’s still a punch to the chest.
He stews in his hurt and anger all weekend, and watching Vale win the race doesn’t help. He wants to yell at Vale. He wants to fight him and make him feel as terrible as he has made Marc feel. He has no way of doing that.
The only thing he can think of at this point is to send him a DM. He knows it won’t go to him, and will most likely be deleted by some poor PR person who works for him, but he sends it anyway. He pours out all his anger and frustration and hurt. You didn’t have to kick me out of the paddock, he adds as an afterthought. I was with my brother. We weren’t doing anything other than trying to see you. What you’ve done is cruel. All I wanted was to talk to you, as a fan and a friend.
By the time he sends it he’s worked himself up into crying, and he bullies Alex into snuggling up with him and the sausage dogs to watch a movie.
They’re almost done with the movie when Marc’s phone lights up with an Instagram notification.

By popular demand I'm opening my commissions!! ☆ This is rather exceptional, I'm not working for any studio atm since I'm recovering from burn out so I have all the time in the world to draw for you if you like my art!
You can check my artfol portfolio for more examples of my work, I have a pretty wide artstyle range but I'm more comfortable with my painty artstyle and that's what I'll exclusively draw.
Here's the COMMISSION DOC that you need to fill and send me via mail! Make sure to read everything! If you have any additional question don't hesitate to send me a DM!

Maybe a hot take, but I don't think the Traveler was being inconsistent or out of character in the last archon quest at all. People are getting upset at their reaction to Lyney and Lynette's behavior from the perspective of players, with meta knowledge of the story that the Traveler, the character, doesn't have.
The players know, for example, that because they're playable characters, Lyney and Lynette are ultimately friendly and on "our" side, and we can also trust that what they told us about their backstory is true. The Traveler does not have that knowledge.
TO BE CLEAR this post is talking about my thoughts on the TRAVELER'S thought process. If we want to talk about how I personally would have reacted to the situation, I'm an overly trusting bleeding-heart who would absolutely get scammed and probably murdered by Fatui in this universe.
(Also characters, even main characters who you normally like, can do things you disagree with and that doesn't mean they're badly written. I mean, sometimes they are, but I don't think that's true in this particular case)
But think about it! Looking at the entire situation from an in-universe, in-character POV, it's a really bad look for Lyney and Lynette overall, because here are the facts as the Traveler is aware of them:
Lyney and Lynette are not only members of the Fatui, the primary antagonistic force in this story, but are specifically members of the House of the Hearth, which is known to specialize in espionage, subterfuge, and sabotage.
Both of them also work in a field that would further require them to be masters of misdirection, audience manipulation, and drama.
They "coincidentally" ran into the Traveler right as they arrived in Fontaine and immediately began to do them favors and be very friendly, including saving them from Furina, bringing them to meet their family, and gifting them VIP tickets to Lyney's show.
During the trial, the twins withheld key information, and not just about their identities (and listen, I get it, I fully empathize with why they did it, I get the reasoning, but it's still a bad look when it gets figured out) but also about what they were doing in the tunnel.
They admitted that the entire magic show was a ruse to do, guess what? espionage! To break into the room with the Oratrice's core and find out how it works. To, through subterfuge, obtain Fontaine's secrets about the nation's most important mechanism and central source of power.
The Traveler has known these people for like, a day total.
So what conclusions might the Traveler draw from these facts? When the evidence shows that Lyney and Lynette have a record of misdirection and obfuscation for their own ends? When the Traveler has no way of knowing if even their initial meeting was orchestrated for an ulterior purpose? How are they supposed to know if the tragic backstory is even true, or if that's just Lyney trying to win back some favor and sympathy? In my opinion, at that moment, they don't. Hence the coldness.
My interpretation of events is that the Traveler does like the twins, and wanted to keep liking them, but was struggling to reconcile their initial impression of two friendly magicians with the realization that these two friendly magicians were dishonest with them for most of the time they'd known each other, so they needed to have some space to figure that out.
And for those saying the Traveler is inconsistent, here's the thing: they still helped Lyney. They still acted as his attorney, investigated thoroughly, won the case, and cleared his name. They've done similar for other Fatui members in their acquaintance—they helped Childe with Teucer, they helped Scaramouche/Wanderer with getting his memories back, they helped that other member of the House of the Hearth fake her death and escape the organization—whether or not they fully trusted them, and generally they didn't.
As for the Traveler's supposed hypocrisy, my view of their relationship with Childe is that it's only improved because, despite Childe trying to nuke Liyue in the past, the Traveler knows that
a. They can handle him if it comes down to a fight again; b. He likes them, regardless of if the feeling is mutual or not, and is indeed aggressively friendly to the point where it's easier to just be civil; c. Childe is generally upfront and honest about his actions and will strike from the front, not stab them in the back; and d. He's worked together with them before when they had a common goal (for example, the labyrinth they went through with Xinyan).
They know how his mind works and what motivates him. Childe is a known quantity, the twins are not, and it took in-story time and shared experiences for the Traveler to get to even this point of neutrality; they were openly suspicious of him during his story quest.
As for holding his Vision for him, the Traveler didn't exactly volunteer for the job, Childe literally threw it at them with no warning and peaced out. What do you expect them to do, drop it in the sea? That would be inconsistent with their characterization.
Wanderer's whole situation is even weirder, since the Traveler was able to experience his actual memories and emotions and therefore has good reason to trust that he's had a genuine change of heart. Not to mention that they're not friends, I'd argue they're in that same nebulous "neutral" zone, and that only because Nahida usually functions as a buffer (and also because, again, the Traveler knows that they can handle Wanderer in a fight, and Wanderer also tends to be blunt and honest).
Also, in Lyney's story quest it seems like everyone got over their problems pretty fast and they're all chummy now, so you can all rest easy that the twins' feelings weren't too hurt about it.
Anyways if you disagree go ham, refute my points, whatever, just keep things civil.

Guess what? I've got more Jamil x reader for y'all. You can also find this on ao3. No warnings, just 866 words of kinda fluffy(?) caretaking stuff with gender-neutral reader.
At this point, you know Jamil’s schedule almost as well as he does. So, when you have the chance, you head to Scarabia’s kitchen, hoping to spend some time with Jamil while he and the other students prepare dinner.
However, when you enter, it takes you but a moment to notice Jamil’s uncharacteristic fumbling and the tired look in his eyes. The way Jamil’s chopping the vegetables has you worried about him cutting himself with that knife he’s usually so adept with, and it seems it’s only force of habit that’s keeping him on track.
You frown, and when your eyes meet Jamil’s, you can already see him put his guard up.
So he knows what state he is in, huh? And still, here he is.
It seems Jamil is reading your thoughts, all of him telling you drop it before any words are even said.
At least he still lets you lean in and give a quick kiss to his cheek in greeting.
“Hello love. Do you still have a lot on your agenda for today?” you ask, keeping your tone low for at least some semblance of privacy in the busy kitchen.
“Nothing I can’t handle,” is the response you get.
Of course.
It takes a little more pestering before Jamil actually answers your question. Your lips purse. That list is far too long to your liking.
You take a moment to think, juggling your own plans and to-do list against the urgency of the things Jamil mentioned.
“Will Kalim be eating from that?” you ask, pointing at the food Jamil is preparing.
“Yes.”
“Alright, I won’t be touching that one, then. I’ve gotta do a few things but I’ll be back when you’re done here.”
“Don’t,” Jamil says with a glare, clearly aware of what you’re thinking.
Yet even his disapproving look doesn’t have the usual weight behind it.
“Yes. I will,” you say firmly, even as your heart curls inwards with another bout of concern.
Really, when did he get so tired?
And how did you not notice it earlier?
You leave the kitchen before Jamil can protest further, hurrying through the dorm corridors to find Kalim.
Soon you have an enthusiastic – and concerned – supporter for your plans. You have Kalim point out a few reliable Scarabia students to help with a few of the most urgent matters Jamil mentioned – cleaning up the common areas, delivering some paperwork to Crowley, preparing some dorm-wide notices – while you see to Kalim getting his school supplies in order for the following day. You even recruit a couple of third years to help Kalim with his homework.
You’ll see to the rest tomorrow – after all, you do also have a boyfriend to look after.
Your conversation over dinner can hardly be called anything else than an argument – despite Kalim’s best attempts at acting as a moderating force between you two. It is very tempting to ask Kalim to tell Jamil to take the rest of the day off – it’s not like Jamil would be willing to openly disobey a direct order. Still, you really don’t need to remind Jamil of his position on top of everything else that you’re already doing more or less against his wishes.
Eventually, however, Jamil’s had a square meal, the most urgent things on his to-do list are being taken care of, and you’ve managed to drag him to his bed.
“I really wish you wouldn’t push yourself so hard,” you murmur, your arms wrapped tightly around Jamil. You’re telling yourself you really do just want to cuddle, to offer some respite to Jamil. Still, there might also be a part of you worried that if you were to let go, he’d just jump up and get back to working himself to the bone.
Yet, for all his protestations, just the fact that you’ve gotten Jamil to lay down with you speaks volumes of his current exhaustion.
“I can’t just leave my duties, albi. You know this.”
“Making yourself too indispensable, is what you’re doing,” you protest.
Oh, you know it’s not so simple. Not with his background, not with all the expectations and assumptions.
But sometimes you really wish it would be.
Jamil merely scoffs in response to your words.
Still, it is undeniable that he is slowly beginning to relax in your arms, slowly bringing his head closer to yours. His eyes are starting to flutter, too.
“I will still need to help Kalim with his homework, at the very least.”
You wonder who he is trying to convince more, you or himself.
“Amin and Khalil are helping him. They’re basically top of their classes, aren’t they? I’m sure they’ve got it.”
Still, Jamil frowns.
You sigh. He really is not letting go, is he?
“Do you want me to go supervise?” you ask.
And leave you, unsaid yet hanging there right after your words.
“Don’t,” Jamil eventually says, the word barely more than a breath.
It seems he has accepted his fate.
You softly caress Jamil’s hair, listening to his softening breathing.
And when you wake up, wholly unaware of having been lulled to sleep in the first place, it’s to the lightest of touches from Jamil’s fingers.

today in more zolu thoughts: yet another thing I find fascinating about zoro and luffy's relationship, which I believe the LA managed to capture pretty well despite the differences between it and the og source material, is that while zoro's capacity for loyalty and devotion where luffy's concerned are insane (the all-encompassing, heartfelt, lay down my life and dreams for you, follow you until death or the very end of everything kind of crazy), they're not entirely unconditional per se. the condition here being that he has to measure up to zoro's standards - that luffy has to prove himself a man worthy of following.
there are plenty examples of this in the manga, but I'll stick to where it and opla intersect. so manga!zoro pretty much stands firm with this condition when he agrees to follow luffy, warning him about not getting in the way of zoro's dream right away. opla zoro is a lot more reluctant to join in comparison, and he just seemingly goes along with the whole thing in a more "might as well" manner; even so, there's these few subtle moments where you can see him being struck awe by luffy's faith in himself/his dream (the dinner at kaya's) and showing exactly why he's a "different" kind of pirate (ie freeing the folks from orange town).
still, the most pivotal moment is zoro's fight with mihawk in both cases. this is where luffy has to really prove himself to zoro, for the first time. because talk of dreams and promises and not hindering them is nice and all, but can luffy really stand by what he says when push comes to shove? when the life of someone he cares about is on the line? and man. the answer is yes.
in the manga, by stopping johnny and yosaku from intervening and refusing to do so himself as well, even though he was deeply upset by zoro getting hurt, luffy proved he wouldn't go back on his word nor betray zoro's trust and the faith he had placed in him. in a similar fashion, opla luffy letting zoro go ahead with the duel despite his own apprehension/doubts and nami questioning both of their choices, is what finally led to zoro recognizing him as his captain out loud and accepting his role as a first mate.
I just think it's interesting that these two kind of make each other walk on a tightrope. only the world's greatest swordsman can stand by the pirate king's side. the pirate king can have the world's greatest swordsman by his side, if he proves himself worthy of it. but the best part? for me, it's that zoro and luffy are able to challenge one another this way (or set the bar that high) because they absolutely believe the other can rise up to it and beyond.

❗️Important announcement❗️
Hello everyone! 😁 January is finally here, and this is very exciting news for me because I'm going to New Zealand!!! 🤩✈️ It's a huge trip that I've been planning for a whole year now. It will be the first time I ever take the plane. The first time I visit another country in years. The first time I travel so far away from home! And what's more, this will be the longest trip in my life. Over a month. I can hardly wrap my head around it still! 🤯🗓
I've also had some time to reflect, and... I've decided to use this opportunity to step back and go offline for a bit. 🌱 I wanted to tell you about this sooner, and I apologize for how sudden this probably is for most of you. I promise that I'm alright and doing this with a peaceful mindset! Although- I'm a bit sad at the thought that we won't see or hear from each other for a while. 🥺 It's a bittersweet feeling, but at the same time, I'm sure the temporary change of pace will be a good thing. Lately I've been feeling the need to take a break from social media again, and the timing is perfect. I'm ready. 🤲💫
To my lovely friends and followers here: I hope you will all have a great time these next few weeks. I hope the beginning of 2024 will treat you well and that you will get to experience new and exciting things. Wishing you lots of inspiration, fun projects and plenty of fascinating conversations until I return. 🙏🥰
Take care, everyone! I will miss you dearly. 🫂💗 Thank you, and I love you all,
- elita 🌸

Lets rip into why this isn't worth 200 dollars, ESPECIALLY as a starting bid.
First off, the tab Genesis cases come with is broken off.
Tumblr media
There's also minor wear on the bottom left corner of the back of the insert.
Tumblr media
This is a flaw that can happen even with sealed copies, but still, the indentations and plastic warping, good lord.
Tumblr media
Then the manual, oh god the manual.
First off there's the obvious warping,
Tumblr media
Check out that radical dog ear going on, and the curling, woof.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We've also got some general wear along the bottom here.
Tumblr media
A little bit right here too.
Tumblr media
Then last and honestly probably least, some thumbing.
Tumblr media
Oh yeah, can't forget some scratches in the case for good measure.
Tumblr media
Now looking at all this out of context, it's not that bad. But need I remind you of the 200 dollar starting bid. That is over 10 times the price of a typical CIB Not for Resale copy.
Tumblr media
This is just insane.

DID YUO SEE THE GIF GLITCH JUST DROPPED-
I DID NOT AND DO NOT WANT TO.
Allow me to explain: I want to watch any and all Murder Drones episodes blindly without knowing or seeing anything on them. In fact, that's how I enjoy watching this show. Why, you may ask?
Because that's how I first watched the pilot.
I knew literally nothing about it. I didn't know who voiced in it, what it was all about, who created it... nothing. I just saw a thumbnail for a show that had to do with robots on the internet, and decided to watch it on a whim.
I was blindsided by everything. The first thing I did when N spoke was to very loudly exclaim "MICHEAL?!" And you know what? I enjoyed what I saw! It may have taken me two separate occasions to finish, but I enjoyed my experience watching it!
Did I know episode two came out? I was hyperfixating on something else at the time, so I only found out about it months later. And like with the pilot, I knew nothing about it. I hadn't seen any teasers or anything on it, so once again, I was blindsided by everything I witnessed. So on and so forth, for each and every episode.
It was easy for me not to see anything, because I didn't have reliable internet at the time. Therefore, I was completely unaware of release dates, I didn't see any teasers, I didn't see anything for any episodes.
Obviously, I could not avoid the one featured in GLITCHX, so it was unavoidable and is therefore the only exception to this rule. I am willingly choosing to commit to how I watch these next episodes, because it's been an enjoyable experience for me to get slapped in the face by every episode of this series so far.
And I'd like to keep it that way.
Okay, this is turning out longer than I meant it to be, so let's get to the point I wanna make: while this is the first news we're getting in a long while and it's certainly exciting, I am purposely trying to avoid seeing it so I can continue enjoying it this way.
Anyway, here's N playing the trumpet as an apology if I came off as aggressive at the start there. :3
