It’s like 4 in the morning and I couldn’t help but look at the trailer up and down cause I can’t fucking sit still one thing that I noticed is that they changed their designs, where they still have the same silhouette but it’s just tweaked here and here. Like in the poster you can see how Homura is wearing leggings/thigh highs rather than the tights that she’s known for. But the same goes for everyone else, they’re just changed here and there, but nothing is drastic. You can still tell whose who, which is what I like about the changes. But also how, from what it I can tell, it looks like there’ll be some more casual outfits and what not too. Which I’m very curious to know how that will all play into it as well.

im also like, in the trailer itself, but also like in the rebellion itself everything is so. Liminal and stretched out. Like when Sayaka, Hitomi, and Madoka were walking under the flower arches and how Homura was sitting in that throne thing and it just kept expanding.

I’m also curious to see how the phone is gonna play into the movie since it seems like it’s gonna be a huge part of it. Like in the poster is one of the biggest things outside of Homura herself (both Homura’s to be exact), and it was the first thing was heard in the actual trailer as well. But thinking about the paradise regained analysis I watched from Wendigoon forever ago, I’m curious to see if that will play a part in it. ESP since Rebellion was based on paradise lost, but I’m sure it will have some role in it somehow. But also looking at it in the idea of this movie being based off paradise regained, which role would Homura herself be in? Since the story is about heaven being regained and god trying to deceive Jesus along the way. Would she be the devil trying to keep the way things are, or would she be Jesus for trying to regain the heaven, or the law of cycles, as it was before.

But another thing I find interesting is that Homura was the one who was featured the most out of everyone there. Which is super exciting considering that it’s nodding towards Homura having so much inner conflict with herself, so much that it shows it with herself on the poster. Madoka is hidden in the background, while she is going to confront herself. Would this mean that she, the Homura post episode 12, still holding onto that hope Madoka gave her (hense why she has the ribbon in her hair), is fighting herself, as in Homura in Rebellion post-giving up on that hope striving for her own path, in what she believes in? When Homura asked Madoka if she was willing to be a magical girl at rebellion and said that “one day we will become enemies”, was she in fact talking to herself about it the whole time? Is she the big bad she’s been looking for throughout all these timelines?

Another thing is that, I’m curious about what’s in the phone. It looks like a spine and then a hand, which automatically brings me back to Homulily and how her body was all bone. Does this imply that she’ll be able to do what Sayaka did with Octavia, simply call on her witch whenever she needs it? Or does this imply that it will be something more sinister, either about herself or the world around her. I’m leaning towards the former since the top of the phone looks like a salamander, which is something that has been shown with her time and time again. hi i lost a really close friend of mine yesterday due to the fact im transgender. i was out as transgender to her but she still decided to say transphobic stuff to me like example: "trans people are weird" "if you are a girl then you are a girl how tf can you become transgender" ; i tried explaining her but she just wouldn't understand so i decided to ignore her for a while but ofc she started to notice that. so then she tried to "resolve" this problem with me, but she was just guilt tripping me by saying stuff like "you are just sensitive i didnt say anything transphobic" "i have always been by your side how dare you start to behave like this with me because i said trans concept is weird" like bro.. I AM TRANS im obviously going to defend my identity and people who are like me, we still continued fighting and during that entire fight i was just asking her to apologise and accept her mistake but she refused to do that. in the end we decided to just end our friendship or more like, she wanted to end the friendship cuz i all i wanted was just an apology and understanding from her side. it felt really terrible to lose a friend, even though ik she said transphobic stuff to me.. idk it still feels sad. and my point is basically that, have you ever lost a friend because of the fact you are queer, and if yes how did you cope up with it?

This hits hard cause I'm also a trans guy and a similar thing happened to me. I was kicked out of my friend group. I was a little messed up for a while and didn't do much of anything besides school. Eventually I did find another friend group when I changed schools last year for eleventh. (If anyone remembers the gay club i talked about) So as for how I copied with it, I threw myself at academics and eventually found friends. It wasn't exactly healthy but it worked for me. I just want you to know that it may not seem like it now, but one day when you're surrounded with people who truly value and appreciate you for who you are, almost everyday will be a happy day.

But for now it's ok to grieve the friendship. Allow yourself to grieve it because it was an important relationship to you. Make sure you validate those feeling and not shut them down like I did. Also eat your favourite ice cream at those times. This doesn't have anything to do with coping advice. I just like ice cream :)

THE SISTER HE'S SO INSANELY HAPPY TO HAVE BACK. so of course that makes him spiral down into guilt even more. shintaro and kano are sort of madeup too bc ok i know in the Good End we dont rly see moments like in the novels like kano coming clean abt clearing eyes or disguising himself as ayano but i like to think these moments happen at some point anyway. so going by this kano and shintaro ARE on good terms, shintaro has forgiven kano, he's all cute smiling to him and kanos like AUUUGHHH. and sort of. reverts back to being a little bit of a dick to him.

look, i’m here to enjoy the series and, y’know what? i’m really enjoying it! i’m having a blast :D

characters are allowed to be nuanced and flawed and not perfect and she’s a character who very obviously has had some ups and downs, both in her life and how the party (and her daughter) has viewed her

i think she’s a beautiful character and i appreciate her complexity and the thought that’s put into her, brennan did a great job of keeping her consistent and i genuinely do appreciate her depth

but this is very much a thing i am watching for fun and that i’m not trying to analyze, and i get secondhand emotions from things i’m invested in pretty easily

so the whole situation with her that’s going on in sophomore year had me a bit more stressed an anxious than even some real life stuff was causing me

the easiest way for me to sort of process how i’m feeling about her is to recognize sometimes i’m upset with her (which, she’s not the only character i’ve done this with btw, i was plenty distraught and torn up about the whole gorgoug zelda situation and gorgoug forgetting the generator felt like a kick to the stomach) and then move on

she has her moments good and bad and instead of justifying either, i decided to take a step back, detach myself and go “i like that she did this! i did not like this!”

because quite frankly i was getting far more stressed out than something i’m watching to have a good time should make me

so yes, a complex female character indeed, and deep down, i do love her. but i’m allowed to be mad with her too and y’know what? i’m mad at her sometimes because i love her

so i understand if you sent this because you felt like i was attacking her, but i’m really trying not too and i think you missed the whole point of that post which was “i am going to feel about her how i feel about her in the moment because i am genuinely distressed and this is a fictional character”

also it’s ok to not like characters???? like if i said i hated sandra lynn that’s ok??? i can still hate something while admiring or i appreciating the fact from a meta standpoint her character is amazing and incredibly well played and developed. it’s when the hatred stems from bigoted thinking that it’s a problem, and it’s very much not, i’m just having an emotional response to a character in a series i’m emotionally invested in

How Thorin & Elrond would respond to a reader experiencing sensory overload

Thorin:

Thorin can recognize your distress but he doesn’t initially understand what’s wrong.

As soon as he does, if anyone’s around he’ll yell for everyone to shut up in his absolute scariest, most commanding voice (he realizes this is loud and will also apologize to you right after, but he wants everyone to pipe down and go tf away).

Loads and loads of reassurance that he’s got you and he’s here to help in any way he can (even if he doesn’t know how).

Will have to ask what you need, but is quick to catch on.

Immediately making you earmuffs out of anything that’s within reach and will take you to the closest quiet spot.

His instinct is lots of reassuring touches + affection, so if this is overwhelming for you he’ll have to apologize a lot and try very hard to stop himself. 

Look he’d fight the sun for you if he could.

Since he can’t actually fight the sun for how bright it is, he’ll bring you to the darkest room he can find. Again, he’ll start making adjustments to the surroundings/makeshift fixing things up. If there aren’t curtains, he’ll hang blankets or his cloak over windows to block out as much light as he can. 

If there isn’t a room to go to/you’re outside, you best believe this guy is rigging up a tent in three seconds flat.

If he can’t manage that, he’ll wrap you up in his hooded cloak.

If you need to be left alone, he will reluctantly do so, and will basically just stand guard and intercept anyone who might come over to bother you.

If you need/want him to stay with you and don’t want touch, he will find this very difficult, but will do his best to just sit near you and hang out. He’ll probably have to do something with his hands to occupy himself but will sit with you for however long you need. 

Will definitely try to distract you with a quiet song or story if you can handle that level of sound. 

If you need/want touch to help soothe you, he can give really good crushing hugs. The kind where you think your back is going to crack. If you need something a little softer than that, he’ll just tightly hold you and braid your hair. 

Literally if you need/want touch you best believe that by the time you’re finally relaxed you’ll have 120550589 braids in your hair. 

Later, he brings you a pair of proper sound-cancelling earmuffs that he invented himself and the heaviest blanket he could find. He asks you a lot of questions about what this is like for you and about what you need so that he can be better prepared to help you in the future.  💕

Elrond

Elrond recognizes what’s going on right away. He needs absolutely no explanation and will jump in to help you immediately. Nothing else matters. Even if he’s mid-conversation or on his way somewhere, he’ll stop whatever he’s doing to focus entirely on you.

First thing’s first: damage control. He’ll immediately use Vilya to help biologically quell your distress, syncing your heartbeat and breathing patterns to his, calming down your nervous system. 

His outer robe’s coming off. You’re being swaddled. Not optional. It’s big and heavy and velvety-soft, like the world’s best weighted blanket.

Off you go to somewhere quiet. If you can walk that’s awesome. If you’re too overwhelmed my man is 7′ tall and so strong so he’ll just pick you up and take you somewhere dark and quiet as fast as possible. This is probably his own office, rather than the healing halls. The healing halls generally thrum with activity which can be too much noise/light/movement when you’re already overstimulated. His office is private and empty and he still has a lot of his necessary tools there. 

As soon as you’re inside, he’ll shut the curtains and make sure you’re comfortable and then get down to your level on the floor and quietly ask what you need/how he can help. 

He’ll ask if there are any types of sensory inputs you find soothing (specific textures, sounds, tastes, smells--- anything). If there is, he’ll immediately go source it. 

If you need/want to be left alone, he’s happy to do that, but he’ll still check in on you/keep you swaddled/bring you calming herbal teas. 

If you’d rather have him around and you’re okay with touch/need pressure then that’s it you are getting the best hug. 

Like the firmest, all-around-best-kind-of-squash hug, not too much, not too little. 

If you don’t want/can’t handle touch but don’t want to be left alone, then he’ll just quietly sit next to you and use a combination of Vilya and ósanwe to just radiate this really nice, gentle calming energy until you feel better.

Once you’re feeling a bit better he’ll go and fetch a couple herbal remedies for muscle pain/stress/etc and get you a snack + something nice to drink.

Literally will let you hang out with him in his office for however long you want. Tired from the overload/panic + wanna fall asleep on his reading couch? Go for it. Wanna fall asleep on him? Totally fine. He’ll hold you. 

In the future, his office is always open to you and he makes sure you know that. It’s always quiet and peaceful, with the perfect amount of white noise coming off of the river, so it’s the perfect place when you just need somewhere quiet and safe. You can come in any time that you start to get overwhelmed, and he’ll make you something nice to drink and let you stay as long as you like.  💕

ok so the first time they notice you was when you had parked your motorcycle in ‘their’ spot and they were like “who tf does this person think they are?!?” but when they got a closer look at your motorcycle they noticed that it was a newer model that costed a pretty penny $ that and the fact that it was A LOT better than theirs, they were pissed to say the least… 👁👁

so when Paul FINALLY sniffed you out from the crowded boardwalk they were intrigued….I mean it’s not every day people that wear… a leather jacket in hot weather? That and the fact that you were practically running and screaming around the boardwalk dragging your friend.

so they just continued to watch over you guys until you and your friend parted ways. “So your the one who’s taken our spot” david responded aggressively as you climbed on your motorcycle. “i didn’t see your name on it jackass” and with that you started up your bike and WOOSH. and now every time you go back there (listen that video store has some really good movies that not a lot of other shops have!) you always see them and talk to them, well mostly them hitting on you because they thought you were cute but they swear that’s not the reason why they keep hoping to see you down at the video store. And let me tell you, Max is FED UP with having to deal with them going in the store EVERY DAY and asking whether or not you visited.

but eventually they start growing on you and when you accepted their request to join them at the cave Marco had the biggest grin on the whole night! you know someone who also has very limited redeeming qualities? kwon minwoo.

tactician kwon minwoo will always be tactician kwon minwoo. he's still that same annoying attorney who just won't stop poking his nose in youngwoo's life and using dirty old tricks to get ahead. despite him having his own reasons that made us understand his intentions better, he's still that guy who called youngwoo a wild card and thinks she has it easy (which isn't true).

he also conspired with her mom, the enemy, to get her fired. have we forgotten that?? i hope they bring it up soon T-T

the redemption arc they're trying to give him really shined this episode, especially when suyeon confessed to him. the "changing for love" trope just doesn't work after all he's done and it won't work if they pushed it at the very last minute of the second to the last episode. he hasn't changed at all. he's a straight line that had a small tiny bump and then went back to being the same guy he was, except now he magically got the girl. no arc.

he's still tactician kwon minwoo through and through. that one scene with the reporters wasn't enough to completely redeem him. even when they stood up against atty jang, which good for him and as he should, but -

BUT.

he did that for suyeon and not youngwoo

he can't be redeemed if he's still a jerk.

he did it for suyeon okay sure, but what about youngwoo? what about everything he's done to her, what will he do to make up for that? and is he even willing to do so?

she's headstrong and confident since day 1, and she can shut down anyone, any MEN, who refuse to listen to her and youngwoo. she's also very thoughtful (when she saw junho eat alone and wanted to invite him over, and when she asked youngwoo if she wanted some choi suyeon gimbap) and at the end of the day, she's still youngwoo's friend.

she also knows what she wants in a man, and she's not changing herself for anyone. HE needs to change to deserve her.

even though they hinted at this rivals to lovers trope, and i said it's not that surprising this happened, i was silently praying they won't push through with it. but every drama needs a 2nd couple, i suppose.

that's the only reason i'm seeing here.

youngwoo didn't deserve any of the crap atty jang said to her, and all the crap minwoo said about her behind her back.

but you know who she does deserve?

atty jung and youngwoo's father-daughter/mentor-mentee relationship is the saving grace of this episode. their bond made these last few eps bearable from the pain. they've grown so well together!! but, and i know papa gwangho does the best that he can, atty jung has given so much more helpful advice to youngwoo that he seems more of the father figure to her than papa gwangho sometimes. (or is it just because we're not getting much scenes with papa gwangho and youngwoo anymore?)

when he advised junho to get the girl back, that's what a dad would usually do.

when he advised youngwoo to talk to her colleagues when she's having a hard time, very Dad-like advise. that was driven by genuine concern and want to encourage. he only wants the best for her. he's now pushing her forward like a father watching his child take their first steps.

only this time, it's atty jung in the hospital, patiently waiting for whatever decision youngwoo will make in her grand finale.

(they're the best, i swear. i bumped atty jung to top 2 in my list, just above junho. more on that later.)

they sprinkled little bits and pieces about him throughout the series - points for that one. so, it's not terribly out of place, and they definitely waited until the very last minute to reveal it for the shock factor. it makes sense to me that the final case for this season involves tae sumi, the big bad. the mother plot is finally coming together. but why wait until the final ep?

i really hope it ties every loose end and not leave us confused and with 197437 different plotholes.

i don't know how it's all going to play out, but i'm glad the brother is here now and they're going to try and clear things up. my only hope is that they do it right.

we're also going to get, i think, youngwoo being an older sister and i'm so looking forward to that!! she'll protect him with every fiber of her being, i'm sure, no matter if he'll turn out good or bad.

It was mostly in all caps yelling at me for being lesbophic, hating Violet, telling me to shut the fuck up and get out, etc.

Here's the deal, if this person was genuinely upset with my bad throwaway joke about Violet, then that's fair. If they had sent me an ask that was like "Hey, that joke you made about Violet made me uncomfortable, you shouldn't make jokes about lesbians like that, especially if you're not a lesbian." then I would've responded with an apology and a promise to do better. Because yeah, I am truly sorry if that did rub some the wrong way, and I've tried to watch myself, make sure I'm not making jokes like that after this whole thing happened, getting second opinions, doing what I can to not make anyone else feel uncomfortable.

That person didn't do that, they were aggressive and I've learned that aggressive anons are not worth responding to, so I didn't. But back in that old discord server, I used to share those anons with the group and we would talk about them. This person sent me another ask that was super passive aggressive, I remember it going something like, "hey bestie when are you going to respond to my ask calling you out for being lesbophic?" which I shared with the group to get their take on the joke and this anon.

As we discussed this, more anons kept coming in from the same person, all about the same thing, written the same way, all aggressive.

It stopped being all fun and games when the asks started responding to the things I was saying in the chat. We figured out that either this person was in our chat, or someone in chat was sending them everything I was saying.

What's funny is we all had a clear guess on who it was- someone joined the server under the most generic name of like "Anna Smith," they had clouis fanart as their picture, and they were never online... until that night. That night was the first time they have ever shown up as online, they were online the entire time we were talking about this, and when Pi messaged them, they responded but then went offline and the asks stopped coming in.

Like... cut and dry, right? They got caught. It was clearly this random person who was never online, who never interacted with us, who randomly joined and was in the server for I dunno... weeks?

Maybe it was them. I don't actually know and I never will, and it made me so paranoid to be in the group that I eventually left.

But the part that gets me the most? This anon made me feel like I had to explain myself to the chat about my sexuality, something I never shared here on tumblr or with the group for personal reasons.

Meeting

Now when y’all met suna was not looking to love at all. That man was just living his life and so where you. The two of you pretty much meet through komori. You’re a friend and it’s his birthday so him and a few of his friends go out for drinks bc why not. Young hot pretty financially stable v-ball players. Nah no ones there for any type of hookups literally just there celebrating a great guy.

They rent out a section at a relatively nice bar tbh. Not the cheapest and you can actually hear conversation. But also not a super expensive one where the patrons are middle aged with jazz music and the occasional track to relive “youth.” Komori’s a sweetie and will come outside to get you when you text that you’re there. You’ve met washio and ofc sakusa Before so you greet them casually then you turn and there’s Suna and a few others you haven’t met.

That greeting isn’t anything special I promise. Just “hey I’m so and so” and vice versa. It’s one of those meetings where you just think “he’s cute” but it’s such a fleeting thought. Y’all don’t even really talk that first night tbh. At the next practice Suna mentions offhandedly that he didn’t know komori was dating someone and komori is like: huh? Yeah sorry. I love (Y/N) and all but were just friends. Suna just shrugs not really caring to be honest until Komori just asks what did he think of you.

“Don’t really remember much man. Seemed cool though” he didn’t think he’d really see you again. Yeah you were close enough to have been at Komori’s birthday but if that was his first time ever meeting you, he figured you weren’t from around there are present very much. Yeah he was wrong.

Suddenly you were on Komori’s snap story more often, or maybe he’d just been noticing more. Too bad he couldn’t even remember your name 💀. Then it turned into you occasionally popping up where he was. He’d been told your name at least 5 times already but wouldn’t remember it the next day. Whenever he’d see you again he’d get a strained look like: “what is this mf name again” just laugh and tell him again bby.

That changed at some random house party by another mutual friend you two apparently had? You two were the only people just around the fire pit trying to catch some warmth in the chilly night. This sparks the tiniest bit of interest in him and he lets out a low chuckle and just admits “not at all.” I also feel like this is the first time he really looks at you and he’s like 🤨, wait you’re actually kinda cute.

That night y’all just kinda talk and vibe. The conversation comes easy as you two jump back and forth from talking about the music playing to sneakers which he brings up to stuff that you like. He’s actually really easy to talk to. So easy that u can forget about him not remembering your name despite meeting several times. You mention that you’d hung around komori before while they were gaming and that he seemed pretty cool. That leads him to asking “how do you know him anyways?”

“I used to date Sakusa”

Mentally he’s just like— ‘yeah I’m not getting involved in this. Time to go.’ Until you just start laughing.

“I’m kidding. He’s not really my type. We met after being paired together for a project in school.”

The two of you spend quite a bit of time just talking that night until you are joined again by some friends and it’s deadass like y’all weren’t just talking for almost an hour straight.

Getting Together

The process of getting together is like a cat and mouse game. You two start getting closer than friends and then something happens and you’re not talking for weeks. Whether it be life just getting busy, and then someone ending up on some random tinder date or so be it. Definitely one of those things were somehow someway y’all end up just hanging on one of your couches watching a movie. At some point there’s definitely a hint of sexual tension but neither of y’all act on it (later on you find on his finsta that he used to post several “i wont you 😔” memes  Folks can’t tell if hes joking or not (hes not))

You probably gotta tell that man you like him so if that ain’t you I’m sorry. Y’all not dating 😹. It’s something casual, y’all going to pick up some snacks for a movie night and why this mf keep looking at you out the side of his eyes instead of the road. You def texting the groupchat asking if you should confess. They tell you to boss up and just do it baby.

You literally end up confessing in that parking lot. Like right when he shuts the car off and starts swinging his keys on his finger and you kinda just blurt “I like you. Like like you.” He just kinda nods before his eyes widen. “Wait are you fr?” Like no you’re joking tf. It gets a lil awkward so you just go to get out the car and he’s like “I like like you too.”

I definitely don’t think either of you ever officially asked the other out it’s just at some point the understanding that you two are a couple. Like when you’re hanging out just you two hes more touchy, and then y’all start kissing and holding hands at some point. Then when you’re with friends he almost exclusively sits next to you and your friends notice the whispers in one another’s ears at the loud bar that seem just a hint too intimate for ppl who are just friends. Then y’all start arriving and leaving places together and people just at some point get the message (it’s later confirmed by you tweeting some shit like: I hate Rin why is that mf my boyfriend)

As far as anniversaries y’all draw straws to pick a day in the ballpark of the time y’all both think you became official. That’s the day you stick with even if it’s not true.

Relationship Flaws

A fault in the relationship is sunas kinda poor communication when it comes to things that matter. How he feels. Arguments. Love sure as hell don’t come east with anyone but when your partner won’t let you in? Yeah that’s like hell. That’s something you struggle with. And then on your end, it’s the impatience with him not letting you in. You try to wrongfully rush it.

 There’s definitely been arguments that stem from him just being upset about something unrelated to the relationship then coming to you for comfort without actually telling you what’s wrong. He kinda just wants to lay with his head on his chest but at some point that’s not enough. Y’all are in a relationship and should be able to talk about your bad days too.

You’re not innocent in this issue either because sometimes it comes off too pushy. Yes it’s from a place of care but sometimes that silent comfort is necessary. The walls will break in due time and y’all both know that deep in the back of your minds But then there’s a part that’s like— yeah we can’t let this become the norm

“Rin, can you please talk to me”

He will have literally told you “whatever” and that he “can’t deal with this rn” several times as he just shrugs and is like yeah “I’m gonna just go home. I’ll text you later” with an awkward ass pat on your shoulder if it really ruined his mood. If he’s leaving before he gets super upset and uncomfortable just some half assed kiss in your cheek

Another thing is I feel like he could be passive aggressive and let’s be real other folks doing it causes you to do it to. Y’all probably drag eachother on your finstas where you can both see it lol

But when it comes to making up he cracks first and apologizes when he started it. Or as y’all get more comfy with communication. If it’s not anything major he’ll just hit you with a text like “I’m bored come hang”

More Relationship Things

I feel like he love/hates driving. Likes the ride not always driving though. So if you ever proposed a late night drive he’d be down (if you offer to drive). He does let y’all take his car though. He reclines the seat pretty far back. I think he values quality time a lot so there’s so many nights where you’re both just chilling in his room just doing your own things. He could just be at his desk watching some game highlights and you’re just doing hw on his bed with your own earbuds in work all spread out and he’s content. He’s also attentive so if he calculates that you’ve been working too long he’ll just take ur earbud like “hey let’s go get something to eat.”

People definitely think he’s the lazy one in the relationship but it’s 100% not true. Like stated above, he’s very attentive and can pretty much gauge how you’re feeling in the blink of an eye. He knows when you need alone time but won’t go without reassuring you that he’s here whenever you’re ready. When you do just need him he’s there without a second thought. If you’re more touchy he’ll have your head in his lap his arm running up and down your as you tell him what’s wrong. He knows when to joke about a minor inconvenience and over the course of your relationship knows when to cut the jokes and be serious with you.

He’d never admit it but he knows your coffee order by heart (he keeps up his image my asking wtf do you get everytime. Just let him LOL). He the type to peek at what you plan on wearing and ‘accidentally’ color coordinate then pull some shit like “why are you copying me”

Y/N didn’t know what she expected studying with Hinata to be like, of course she did believe that there would be actual studying. He had started out by telling her how he could absolutely not fail his upcoming tests, or else he wouldn’t be able to play volleyball, and this turned into more talks about volleyball. And more talks about volleyball. 

It had been about an hour and they had yet to get anything done. 

The way his eyes lit up made her happy, truly. She knew how much volleyball meant to him. When she met him in middle school she saw how desperately to be on a real team, and now that he was its only natural to be excited. Maybe his passion was the reason she liked him so much.

But Y/N really needed him to shut up or else he wouldn’t be playing any volleyball and she would be stuck with his moping. His passion was pretty annoying at the moment.

What better way to shut up your crush than with a kiss? 

It had been an accident, truly. When her lips found his in the midst of one of his speeches about volleyball and how great it felt to actually be playing, she genuinely thought it was the best way to silence him. And she was right. 

She surged forwards, lips meeting his, barely giving him enough time to respond before pulling back. Y/N’s cheeks warmed as she brought the textbook up to cover her face, “we need to work.” 

Hinata’s mouth gaped open.

Y/N quickly realized she wouldn’t be comforting him because of volleyball as she leaned forward to kiss him again.

Y/N was beginning to regret her decision to babysit with Kageyama. Sure, he was cute. And sure he was nice and adorable and awkward. And sure he was her crush, but he was also distracting and she could only watch one child at a time. He’d asked for her help, and she’d agreed, because what could possibly go wrong? 

A lot, apparently.

They’d managed to get the kids to sleep, and the baby monitor on the coffee table beside them had yet to make a noise. Kageyama had gone to the kitchen, while Y/N sat on the couch, attempting to relax after having dealt with demons that were referred to as children. She watched as Kageyama entered, two mugs in hand, “hot chocolate.” Is all he said.

Y/N smiles at him, her exhaustion evident on her face as she accepts the cup gratefully, “thanks.” She laughs a little to herself, “of course you like hot chocolate.” She mumbled, taking a sip of her drink.

Kageyama tilted his head at her in response, “what do you mean?”

She places her drink on the coffee table, “well its warm chocolate milk. And you love milk.” Came her response. 

He nods in agreement, “I suppose you and milk have something in common.” And Y/N laughs softly at this comment as he sips his milk nonchalantly. 

And then it hits her, causing her to choke on her own drink.

Kageyama didn’t necessarily know how to talk to girls, but with her, it was just easy. Like volleyball, being with her felt like Volleyball. Of course, flirting was something Kageyama had never attempted and he wanted to do it right, so naturally he went to get some advice from some of his teammates. He’d never seen Nishinoya and Tanaka look so happy. Luckily, Sugawara had stepped in before they’d done any permanent damage, and here he was. 

This was not the outcome he expected as he put his own drink down in a panic, eyes wide as he quickly came to her side, patting her back. She coughs once more before speaking, “I’m sorry what. Did I hear you right because-” She paused, realizing how close they were, his hand on her lower back now and her hand on his shoulder.

Kageyama cleared his throat, “can I.. uh can I kiss you?” 

She nearly didn’t respond, voice caught in her throat, but quickly nodded her head when she realized he was awaiting her answer. His other hand came up to her cheek and she met his gaze, nodding once more.

And then they kissed, her hand gripping his shoulder as she tried to pull him closer, though it didn’t last long as they broke apart. Y/N beamed at him, laughing happily as she threw her arms around him and buried her head in his neck, his back fell onto the couch as his hands circled her waist, pulling her closer, a soft smiling forming on his face.

Y/N brought her head up from his neck and pressed another kiss to his lips, hand finding its way into his hair. 

“Kageyama, I’m thirsty, could you get me water?”

Kageyama bolted upwards, forehead bumping Y/N’s before she rolled off him and onto the floor, grunting as she made contact and rubbing her likely soon to be bruised head. 

“Oh my god-”

If it had been anyone else, Tsukishima would’ve told her to shut up and let him walk home in peace. If it had been anyone he wouldn’t have even been here, he would’ve turned right about two blocks ago and headed home.

But it was Y/N, and he hadn’t turned right two blocks ago, instead he’d taken off his jacket and silently handed it to her when he’d noticed she had been shivering. 

And now he was listening to her talk about how stupid their math teacher was and how she was about to fight him for taking a point off even though she had gotten the question right. Her excessive hand gestures nearly hitting him in the face a few times. 

“I’m starting to seriously reconsider coming to Karasuno, honestly this man has the audacity to question my academic ability when I’ve been at the top of his class for-”

“I’m starting to seriously reconsider liking you.” 

A noise of shock escaped her and she faltered in her steps, stumbling forward and nearly falling flat on her face had Tsukishima not caught her.

Y/N’s mouth gaped open as her hands rested on his biceps, and his on her waist, his brow raised as she looked up at him before looking away, red evident on his cheeks as she smirked. “I could say the same.” 

He scoffed, “you just tripped because I told you I liked you.” He leaned closer to her, a small gap separating them, “I’d say you still like me.” 

Y/N raised a brow, “you sound pretty confident.” 

He smirked, hands around her waist pulling her closer before pressing his lips to hers. Her hands rising up to his neck, Y/N breaks the kiss, smiling at him. “God you’re such a nerd.” 

Tsukishima simply rolls his eyes, flicking her forehead as she yelps. 

YAMAGUCHI TADASHI

Y/N was getting tired of this. How many times had she shamelessly flirted with Yamaguchi? How many times had she practically shoved in his face that she liked him. Sure, she hadn’t said. it up front, but she figured her previous tactics would have some sort of effect on him, and they did, he got incredibly flustered, but there was no sign he understood what she was saying.

So what better way to let him know that she liked him than to kiss him? Thats about as forward as you can be? Right? Right. 

As they closed the gym together, she was wondering if maybe this was the best plan. Maybe he didn’t like her back, maybe this would ruin their friendship, maybe it was better to just... not.

Y/N watched as he locked the gym doors, turning to her, “alright, all done,” his freckled cheeks were pink as he continued, “thanks for staying behind to help me.” 

She smiled softly at him, nodding, “of course.” Y/N extended her hand to him, “shall we?” 

He looked away as he grasped her hand, trying to his the deepening red of his cheeks as she pulled him along for their walk. Or at least, what he thought was their walk, because she yanked his hand, effectively pulling him closer to her and allowing her to press her lips to his.

His brain seemed to short circuit as his eyes widened, and she quickly pulled away, “I’m sorry.” She laughed awkwardly as she stared at him, releasing his hand. “We should probably go...” She trailed off avoiding his gaze.

Yamaguchi quickly realized he needed to do something, quickly reaching forward to grab her hand, causing him to stumble and fall, bringing her down with him. He grunted as his back hit the pavement, Y/N falling on top of him, their heads knocking together causing her to groan. He opened his mouth, at a loss for words, as she pushed up on his chest, trying to get up, but he pulled her back down. “What the hell Yamaguchi?” 

He swallowed nervously, “can you- do you think you could kiss me again?” He mumbled.

Y/N’s mouth gaped open, though it soon turned into a smirk, “of course I can.”
