woo - @wolfstarmicrofic - background dorlene and squint and you miss it jegulus - word count: 539
It had taken Sirius five long years to figure out his feelings. He wasn’t sure why– possibly because his bigoted mother had taught him from an early age that it was wrong to feel this way. Or maybe because he was so good with girls– how was it possible that he liked boys? But either way, by the start of his sixth year, he had finally accepted the truth: Sirius Black, renowned girl-crazy womanizer, was completely and utterly in love with Remus Lupin.
But after going through a complete crisis over the summer and accepting this realization, he was presented with a new problem: he had no idea how to woo a man. So he decided to ask the only girl he felt comfortable sharing his problem with.
“Oi, McKinnon!” he called to Marlene a few days into the term. “Can I talk to you?”
Marlene, who was talking with Dorcas Meadowes, looked over to him. “What?”
“Erm,” he squirmed, looking to Meadowes and back again. “Alone?”
The expression on Meadowes’s face was unreadable, but that wasn’t was Sirius was focused on. Marlene just shrugged and told the other girl to wait where she was, before pulling Sirius off to the side. “What is it, then?” she asked, looking mildly curious.
“You can’t judge me, alright?” Sirius said nervously, heart beating wildly. He hadn't told anyone besides James about his feelings and he was suddenly terrified.
“I already know you’re an arse, Sirius, nothing can make it worse,” Marlene rolled her eyes.
He sighed, steeling himself. “Fine. I need…I need boy advice.”
Marlene’s face instantly flashed through such a range of emotions that Sirius was a bit surprised she didn’t yell or faint or something. She looked shocked and amused and confused and almost like she pitied him. But after a moment, she settled on giving him a bemused grin. “Boy advice? Like you fancy-”
“Yes, alright? So-” Sirius hissed, looking around to make sure nobody was listening.
But Marlene seemed quite at ease. “Listen, Sirius, I’m honestly happy for you that you’ve finally realized you’re in love with Remus. I feel like you’re probably the last to know, to be honest. But the fact that you picked me to ask for advice is truly hilarious. Why didn’t you ask James?”
And Sirius had to take several minutes to process that sentence. “I….you knew?” he started with his first reaction.
“You’re not subtle. Neither of you are,” Marlene shrugged.
Sirius blinked and stowed that information away for later, unsure of how to respond. “What do you mean, I asked the wrong person?” he questioned, a bit hurt. “I thought you wouldn’t judge-”
“Oh, I’m not judging. In fact, we’re very similar,” Marlene grinned. “Or did you not realize Dorcas and I are dating?”
Sirius gaped, looking over to where the Slytherin was waiting impatiently. Now that he thought about it, the two girls did spend a lot of time together. But why… “Why should I ask James, though?”
Marlene chuckled, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder. “I’m gonna let him give you the details on that one. But let’s just say…he’s not straight, either.”
And with that, she strode off, leaving Sirius dumbfounded and more confused than ever.

Unconditional
cw: reader feels unlovable from past experiences, fluff, angst, crying, past relationships mentioned, James is sweetheart
divider by @/uzmacchiato
Tumblr media
You can’t think of a single better thing to do than go on a date with James, but he scares you.
Not in a ‘I fear for my life,’ kind of way, but a ‘how can you like me so much?’ way.
You and James have been going steady for six months, you’ve had fun in all six months but James is going to ask you officially now and that terrifies you.
You know he is because you’d told him you want at least six months to get to know one another first.
James doesn’t know you, he can’t know you and still like you.
That’s what you keep telling yourself anyway.
You’re also thinking about ways to talk yourself out of tonight’s date.
Your skin itches with the anxiety of it.
James doesn’t deserve a last minute cancellation, but if you call now just hearing his voice will make your entire plan fall through.
You’re not perfect like James is. You’ve got a lot going on. You also think something’s wrong with you.
There’s an undeniable truth that you can’t be loved. It’s a proven thing, people like leaving you but only after they’ve wiggled their way so deep you feel them in your bones.
Extracting that kind of affection hurts like nothing else, but you’ve sort of become an expert.
It’s set the idea that you can’t be loved in stone, you can feel it, you can give the love, but receiving it? No dice
Another undeniable truth is that if you had to do it with James, extract whatever affection you had for him when he decides that he can’t keep pretending, it would crush you.
It’s better done early than late. It would hurt less.
You sigh loudly, flopping down on your bed as you rethink your plan. You’ve got to get everything right, James has shut down your last attempt to get him rid of you. You need to be particular about it.
Just as you finally muscle up the courage to cancel, James calls.
“Hi James.” You fight for your voice to remain neutral.
It doesn’t work because James says, “What’s wrong, angel girl?”
Your heart clenches. He’s so nice, you’re gonna lose your nerve.
“I have bad news.”
“Is everything alright?” You sigh long and hard. You can do hard things. Get it done sooner than later, you coach yourself.
“Can we rain check tonight?”
James knows what you’re doing. “Are you hurt? Do you need me to come over?”
“No Jamie, m’not hurt. I just,” you take a breath. “I just want a break.”
You cringe as the words come out, you can tell James is hurt when he says nothing for a little while.
“A break from me?” You rub your forehead, this was not how you wanted this to go.
You might as well rip the bandaid off.
“No, I know what you’re gonna ask me tonight and I don’t think that’s the right idea.”
You hear things moving around in the background of James’ apartment.
You’ve tried this before, you’ve tried pushing James away before.
He hasn’t let you on your last attempt, and you tried so hard.
You’re saving him from the realization that you’re right. At least that’s what you’re telling yourself.
“Why don’t you think so, angel?” You hear his engine turn over and frown.
“James, I’ve told you before. I’ve got too much wrong.”
You can’t see him but you know James is shaking his head by how his voice comes through the phone.
“That’s not true. I’m not letting you push me away. I told you last time, remember?”
You do remember. James had caught you on a bad day.
You’d had a fight with your brothers, they’d said some hurtful things and brought up some worse than hurtful events.
Then you’d gone to work and had an even worse day and James had just wanted to see you. He was so nice, he’d shown up outside your office with flowers and an iced tea and the cutest smile on his face and you’d just seen how much of a dark cloud you were.
You remember nearly yelling at him to leave you alone and then you’d broken down crying when he just hugged you instead.
James had let you cry and when you were finished, he carried you to the ice cream parlor near your house for a waffle cone.
He’d told you then, “You don’t have to be perfect, you just have to be you. You can’t show me any part of you that I won’t like, you won’t push me away, angel girl.”
Now, you feel something hot in your chest, a knife of hot shame. Shame over the fact that you’ve tricked James into loving you.
“James, you’re going to leave eventually, everyone does. Can’t we just skip to that part and save us both the heartache?”
Your breath catches as you imagine having James see you the way everyone else does- unloveable. God even the thought pushes pressure on your chest and makes it hard to breathe.
“I’ve got heartache right now, darling.”
You sniffle just as a knock sounds on your door. “Did you drive here?”
You hang up when you take a peek through your curtains and see James getting out of his car.
The pressure on your chest crawls all the way up your throat, and there’s a pit in your stomach. If James decides to give up on you to your face you might actually throw up.
When you open the door, James’ frown intensifies. “Poor girl,” he tugs you into his chest, his palm cupping the back of your head. “You’re not unlovable.”
He says it so resolutely that you shudder as a sob rips through you.
James doesn’t know what any of your previous relationships, platonic or romantic, have looked like, but if you’ve gotten yourself this worked up because you want to leave James before he can leave you, he can only imagine how horrible they’ve been.
He doesn’t like imagining them for long. There’s an unmistakable rage that surges through him towards the people that have hurt you this badly.
“You’re not,” he whispers when you hiccup. “I don’t care what anyone else has said to you. I’ve been obsessed with you from the moment I met you. You and your massive heart.”
James doesn’t say much else until you’ve calmed down. Now you’re on your sofa, head in James’ lap as he rubs your chest.
“You really think that? That I’m not unlovable?”
The question is so small, whispered into the breeze that passes through but it still guts James.
“I know we’ve only been going steady for a few months, but falling in love with you is the easiest thing I’ve ever done.”
Fresh tears weigh on your lash line. “James.”
He shakes his head and maneuvers you so you’re sitting up and facing him, your chin held gently between his thumb and forefinger.
“Falling in love with you is as easy as breathing for me. I know other people have said some messed up shit to you about how you’re hard to love, but they’re wrong.” He takes a breath.
“You’re not too much, too loud, or difficult to love. You’re perfect, exactly as you are. And I do love you, even if it’s too early to say that.”
James has never been this stern with you, and even in his sternness, his words are all honey coated.
Your breath shudders as you inhale. “M’sorry for trying to push you away again.”
James frowns, pressing his lips to your forehead. “You can’t just change how they’ve made you see yourself overnight, sweet girl. I just,” he exhales, James really hates what they’ve made you think of yourself.
“Next time you feel that nagging feeling coming on, tell me? We can talk it through and I can remind you how much I love you, yeah?”
You nod, “Yeah Jamie.”
James tucks you into his chest, his strong arms around you like he can protect you from everything. Slowly, you’re starting to come to terms with the fact that he might be able to.
“From now on,” James whispers, “Only I can tell you about what it’s like to love you.”
You laugh despite yourself. “Maybe we can build up to that.”
James smiles, squeezing you a little closer. “Wanna go get ice cream? Reckon the shopkeepers have missed us.”
You laugh loudly this time, “Can I get a double scoop this time?”
James nods, “Share a milkshake with me and I can make it a triple scoop.”
It becomes a tradition after that, when you’re feeling like you’re not worthy of his love, because years of those thoughts don’t just go away in six months- but you’re hoping over time they’re gone, James and you talk about it and then go to the parlor to share a milkshake and have ice cream.

------------------------------------------------
matt wasn't one to ignore darling- or anyone in general, which was weird when he had ignored several of her texts. he was supposed to pick her up thirty minutes ago. maybe he was on his way and his phone had died? she thought. she waited for another hour. matt would never do this- he would never leave her waiting.
she decided to send one last text.
darling 8:51pm
hi babe... did you forget about our date today? i've been waiting for a while🫤
matt 9:02pm
omg! i'm so sorry. i had made plans with the guys... i did forget, sorry
darling 9:03pm
oh okay, have fun then :/
matt 9:05pm
baby, don't be like that
darling 9:07pm
*read 9:07pm*
she was upset- actually she was pretty mad. how could he forget? they had this planned for weeks! she was disappointed because he forgot and left her waiting for almost two hours. they- she had booked tickets for a new museum exhibit that she wanted to visit- since the museum closed at 11pm she had gotten tickets for 9pm.
matt wasn't the biggest fan of museums, but he'd do anything for her so he just agreed to go with her. turns out he didn't go along with his words.
10:52pm
y/n was laying in bed reading her current book when she got a call from matt. she was still pretty mad about what had happened, but she picked up anyways. "hello?" she mumbled- closing her book and sitting up against her headboard. "hey, pretty. uhm- is the- is the museum still open?" he said with a slight smile on his face- she could hear his keys jingling in the background. he was most likely coming to pick her up.
she holds back a scoff. "it's about to close in a couple of minutes- i'm going alone next week, it's okay- don't worry about it." she sighs, throwing her comforter off of her. "so- i don't have to pick you up tonight?" he stops in front of his car. "no, matt." he heard the change in her voice.
"baby, are you mad at me? i said i was sorry- i forgot." he speaks, leaning against the drivers side door. "that's- that's the thing, matt. you forgot- we had this planned for weeks! and- and i even mentioned it yesterday when we were together. and you just... forgot?" her voice slightly changed. "it slipped my mind, okay?" matt tried his best to stay clam. he didn't know how to control this- they had never argued before.
yeah they had little disagreements about small things- very small things. but never like this- this felt serious. "if you didn't want to go with me you should've just said, not ignore me and make me wait for hours, knowing you weren't going to come!" matt sighs. "you should've reminded me if you really wanted me to go with you." this alone sets her off. "i should've reminded you? i shouldn't have to do that- if you really wanted to you would!"
"look- i didn't mean to, okay?" he throws his head back against the window- matt was starting to get irritated. "didn't mean to what? forget that we had plans? ditch me for your friends?" a hand ran through her hair, her eyes stung a bit and a knot formed in her throat. "i'm sorry- alright! i didn't think it would piss you off this much!" so he forgot on purpose? her grip on the phone tightened when she connected two and two together.
"not piss me off?! matt- i had bought these tickets so long ago because you said you'd go with me! i know museums aren't your thing, but you promised. do- did it not matter to you?" she whispered the last part. "baby- it's not like that... i- i didn't think. it does matter- i just- you know how i am about museums."
"but, matt. it wasn't just about the museum. it was about us spending time together. i chose the museum because it was a new fun exhibit- i thought you'd like it. we barely saw each other this week- and you're about to leave for a week." tears slowly started rolling down her cheeks. "baby.. i- i get that, but the guys called and i wasn't thinking. i thought we could go another time."
"whatever, matt. i'm going to bed." she scoffs- she had had enough of this- at this point she felt like she was repeating herself. "fine." he muttered- leaning off of his car and heading back to his dorm building. she didn't hesitate to hang up right away.
the next day
y/n woke up, got ready for the day and went downstairs to eat a quick breakfast. she had tried her hardest to forgot about last nights argument. she went about her day, she only had two classes today so it was an easy day. her headphones played her personal playlist, which was weird because she had forgotten certain songs that were in it since she hasn't played it in so long.
she walked into the coffee shop and was next in line. "hello, can i get a medium brown sugar cookie iced coffee, please. and tw- one vanilla scone. and a uhm- medium- sorry, nevermind, that will be all." her cheeks flushed red with embarrassment. it was almost like muscle memory to get matt's order since you two always got iced coffee and a scone together.
heading over to their usual spot and plopped down waiting for her order. she scrolled through her emails and saw that her second and last class had been cancelled. darling thought she'd go check out the bookstore and see any new arrivals.
she opened the door and the bell above the door chimed. "welcome!" the sweet front desk lady said. "hello." darling smiled at her.
darling scanned the bookshelves, but nothing caught her attention, however she was looking to get a new journal to scrapbook. she headed over to the stationery section and saw the many different journals.
as she paid, she felt her phone buzz in her bag. as the woman scanned her journal and a few other miscellaneous items, darling grabbed her phone and saw that matt was calling. "your total is $23.62." the cashier suddenly spoke. out of habit, she double clicked the side button and declined the call to pay.
matt was currently in his dorm room as he had just came back from his second class of the day. he had a two hour break until his next class. in all honesty, he wasn't able to focus on his classes from earlier. matt was busy overthinking about his argument with darling last night. she probably wants to break up with him and never speak to him again, he thought.
he tried to busy himself by cleaning up his side of the dorm room. throwing away a bit of trash here and there. using the mini vacuum, the one darling bought for him and his roommate, to clean up the carpeted floor. and he did his laundry. as he folded his clothes, one of darlings' shirts had gotten into his load.
he gently folded it and put it in her designated drawer she had in his dorm, which was overflowing. he hoped that it stayed that way. as matt finished folding up his laundry, he decided to call her. opening his recent call log, she was the most recent one.
pretty🤍 yesterday 10:52pm
"please pick up." he muttered as he sat on his bed. it went past the first three rings, no answer yet. the call was soon declined. "fuck." he sighed, tossing his phone to the side resulting in it falling in the crack between his bed and his wall. "great."
matt threw himself back on his bed and groaned in frustration. why'd he have to be such an asshole and ditch her for her friends. most importantly- why'd he leave her waiting? the thought of her being ready and excited to go on the date only for him to not show up made him feel even worse than he already did.
matt really wanted to go over and apologize, he looked at the time and saw that around this time she was already home. he wasn't one to stalk her location as often, but he just decided to check. what if he went to her house and she wasn't even home? he pulled up her location and saw that she was at her friends house. he had remembered because he had picked her up from them once. maybe later. he thought.
the night came around and she was still with her friend. not that he was tracking her or anything, but she just happened to post a story on instagram and he just happened to get the notification.
it wasn't until an hour later when he checked her location and she were finally home. matt sat up and jumped off of his bed and grabbed his car keys from his desk. he didn't bother to grab a hoodie or anything, he just wanted to go to her to apologize.
y/n was laying in bed as she had just gotten home from spending most of the day with her best friend. the two of them caught up on everything. she told darling everything about this guy had been seeing and darling told her about her little disagreement with matt. she opened up to her and told her how she thought that maybe matt was getting tired of her because he never ditched her like that. "darling, i promise you that man is so obsessed with you. he is not leaving you anytime soon or ever." is what she told her.
she had her book propped up on her chest as she caught up on reading. that was until she heard little taps on her window. for a split second she thought it was raining, but when she looked over she saw matt out her window. "what?" she said confusingly, closing her book and sitting up. darling walked over to the window and opened it. "matt, what are you doing here? outside my window!" she told him. "i- i wanted to see you. can you sit with me out here? please." she thought for a second, but quickly agreed.
before she said anything, she turned around. matt had for sure thought she had just rejected him, but she soon returned with a hoodie on. "scoot over." darling said softly. for a moment they sat in silence, the occasional breeze blowing the tree branches. the tension was there, but it wasn't so tense. the silence was soon broken as matt spoke.
"m' sorry. i'm really sorry about yesterday." his hand came to her knee. "i- i shouldn't have done that. shouldn't have ditched you for my friends. shouldn't have left you waiting." his thumb moved back and forth against her sweatpants. "i'm sorry for lashing out on you-" matt interrupted her. "hey- no. don't be sorry, pretty. you had every right to be mad. i was the one who stood you up." she pouted, he was so understanding.
"are- are you sure? i feel really bad." darling grabbed his hand and intertwined their fingers together. a gust of wind blew through and a strand of her hair came out of place. matt's empty hand came up to her face and tucked it behind her ear. "forgive me, baby? let me go with you next week, let me make it up to you." he kissed the back of her hand. she nodded.
"of course i forgive you." she smiled at him, taking her hand away from his to bring it up to his face to connect their lips in a sweet kiss. "i love you." darling mumbled against his lips. "i love you." matt smiled against her lips.
the two sat outside her window for a couple of minutes before it started to drizzle. "you stayin' the night?" she picked up her head from his shoulder. "only if you want me to." he grinned at her already knowing the answer. darling giggled and carefully stood up- matt stood up right after and guarded her to prevent anything- "come on." she crawled back into her room. matt closed the window, locking it, and immediately kicked his shoes off.
like routine he picked her up by the waist and gently tossed her onto the bed crawling on top of her. matt cuddled her, giving her little neck and shoulder kisses here and there.
soon enough, they fell asleep with her head tucked in his neck and his hand running through her hair. they weren't going anywhere anytime soon.

More info: how the members of Enhypen would react to you asking them if they wanted to do the “Money Pull Up” dance on TikTok.
All fluff! Wc: About 200-350 words for each member
AN: I’ve wanted to write this for a while now and finally finished, hope you enjoy!
NSFW acc DNI please
Tumblr media
희승-
While scrolling through TikTok, a dance you wanted to learn kept showing up, so, you decided to ask your boyfriend, Heeseung.
You heard him tell you once that he has a background in dancing so hopefully, he would agree to dance with you.
Opening the door to his room you called him,
“hey hee?”
“yes?”
“Would you like to learn a TikTok dance with me?”
“Sure!” It took him a few moments to respond but he steps away from his computer and follows you to the living room.
Once you’re done showing the dance, you start teaching him.
“Okay, so first it goes, money pull-up action we ah turn it up,” you said as you started demonstrating the twerk motion.
He looks at you in disbelief.
“Babe, when did you learn to move like that…?”
You look back at him with confusion but also hold back a smile as he genuinely looks shocked at the move that you just made.
“Uhm I’ve always known how to do this?” “Anyways let’s get back to it”
“oh…okay”
He finally got the dance down 15 minutes after teaching him but it needs cleaning.
“Okay let’s run that again, you got it?”
“Yea”
At this point, both of you are tired out even though you guys still need to record…
“Okay, we will run it one last time and then record,” you said sort of out of breath.
“Okay,” he said, agreeing with you, he was also sort of out of breath.
“Okay, 5,6,7,8…”
Once you guys finally finished cleaning it up it was time to record, and you both ended up doing a great job.
“Oh my gosh look at us,” he said in awe
“Yea we look pretty good,” you said proudly.
Once you uploaded the dance, the comments were flooded with compliments of the dance.
Needless to say, you and Heeseung killed it and now you better believe that he’s going to go find more dances for you guys to learn together.
제이-
The same scenario as Heeseung, you were the one who found the dance and wanted to learn it. But knowing Jay, he was pretty conservative on what he posts online so it took a little bit more convincing.
“Please!!! Just this once” you begged.
“I'm not sure baby”
“I’ll cook your favorite meal tonight~,” you said in a sing-song voice.
Jay contemplated for a second, “…Deal”
“Ahh yay!”
Once you showed Jay a video of the dance and a short tutorial you began to teach him the steps more in depth.
“Okay so, do you know how to twerk?”
Your question baffled him.
“D-do I know how to do what?” he responded, still shocked by your question.
You repeat yourself.
“I-Honey, I mean I never tried it but if you teach me maybe…”
So, you taught him how to twerk, and surprisingly, he was good at it, almost better than you.
Twenty minutes passed and you both were ready to record, so you set up your phone and got ready.
“Okay Jay, you ready?”
“Mhm let’s go”
“Alright we got this”
In the end, you and Jay devoured that, the dynamic and chemistry between you both can easily be seen through the screen, and the people who liked and commented also agreed with that as they left comments filled with compliments for both of you.
After that, Jay also found his new interest, which was learning dances with you.
제이크-
Jake was the one who showed you the dance and asked you to teach him so that you could dance together.
Of course, you agreed, excited to learn and dance with each other.
After you studied the dance and what the dancers were doing in the video you began to teach him.
To be honest, Jake was not listening to anything you were saying, too mesmerized by the way you danced and demonstrated the moves.
Once you were done teaching him you asked if he understood what to do.
“Hm? Oh yea I totally got that”
Feeling a little skeptical about his response, you asked him to show the dance to you, by himself. To which he surprisingly did knowing that he wasn’t listening to a word you were saying.
His demonstration was so bad that you had to stop him halfway.
“Jake, you asked me to teach you this, why aren’t you paying attention.”
“I’m sorry babe, but you just looked so mesmerizing…”
Failing to hide your smile after his compliment you thanked him but also told him that he needed to start focusing or else you wouldn’t dance with him.
He quickly complied and began to focus on what you were saying.
By the end of your lesson, he understood what to do, and now you guys were ready to record!
“Okay, just remember to twerk to the beat”
“Okay yes, got it, I’m ready”
Forgot to mention, that Jake is doing the twerking since you wanted to do the fan kick.
“Okay 5,6,7,8…”
After you guys finished the dance you both spent 5 minutes looking over it, still not satisfied with the way it came out so you both danced again, and again, and again until you guys were finally satisfied with the end product.
Once you uploaded it, so many people liked and commented on it. To say that you guys did a good job was an understatement, you both did such a great job that even you couldn’t stop watching.
The way that you both danced in sync while also doing different moves was so satisfying, you also uploaded another video of you teaching Jake and the comments were also very positive as many found your teaching helpful even using it as examples to learn the dance.
Now, you and Jake have made a pact to learn a dance together at least once a month.
성훈-
Jake was the one who showed Sunghoon the dance and convinced him to ask you.
He knew that you took some dance classes when you were in high school but for some reason, he was nervous to ask you.
So, it took a week of Jake’s bickering, teasing, and convincing until he finally asked you.
“Hey babe…” When he asked you, you were sitting on the couch looking at your phone.
“Yes, hoon?” you answered.
“I was wondering if you would like to learn a TikTok dance with me,” he mumbled.
“Huh?”
“I was wondering if…you would like to learn a TikTok dance with me,” he mumbled again.
“Sunghoon, I can’t hear you-”
“Iwaswonderingifyouwouldliketolearnatiktokdancewithme!” he rambled with a louder voice.
“Oh, yeah sure! Which dance?” you replied.
Surprised by your answer because he was expecting immediate rejection, caused him to stare at you with shock on his face.
“Sunghoon?” he snapped out of it.
“Yes?” he replied.
“Which dance do you want to learn?”
He replied by showing you the Money Pull-Up Dance. Although you agreed to this, he still wasn’t convinced and kept on asking you if you wanted to learn this, which you always reassured him that you did.
After 20 minutes of teaching him the dance, you felt that it was time to record.
“Okay I think we got it, are you ready to record?” he agreed.
15 minutes pass by fairly quickly due to you both messing up multiple times and wanting to redo the dance whenever you watch it. Because of that, you guys did not end up posting the finalized version of the dance, and instead the video of where you both forgot the last part and ended up laughing near the end. You and Sunghoon did not expect to get so much love in that video so to show your gratitude you both decided to film and post the finalized dance for your new fans and friends, and they loved it even more. Also, Jake made various comments about how it was all his idea and how he deserved a shoutout.
선우-
Sunoo was the one who showed you the dance, due to his fyp being filled with multiple dance covers of this song he saved the dance and made a note in his head to ask you when you came home.
But when you got home, you looked so tired, and he didn’t have the chance to ask you.
The next day, you got a day off from work, making it a perfect opportunity for him to ask you about the dance.
“Hey, sweetie~”
“Hm? Oh hi baby”
“Heyyy” he replied.
“What’s up Sunoo?” you replied, a little suspicious of him.
“Oh!, I was wondering if you would like to learn a TikTok dance with me?”
“Oh, yeah sure!”
“Ahh really-”
“But it depends on what it is…”
So, he shows you, though it takes a little bit more convincing for you since you have never tried this kind of dance before. But you finally agreed.
He ended up teaching you how to twerk, how to fan kick, and how to do the body roll which you did a pretty good job on all of them.
“Okay now that you understand those parts let's watch a tutorial to start learning,” he said showing you a detailed tutorial on how to dance.
About 20 minutes later you finished learning the dance with him and felt that you were ready to film. Sunoo was also surprised by your commitment and dance skills, he has never seen this side of you.
“I’m ready to start filming!” you said, excited to dance now.
“Okay! We can do this.”
To both of your surprise, it only took one take to film the dance perfectly so Sunoo uploaded the dance, and very quickly, it ended up going viral, there were so many comments complimenting your dynamic with him and both of your skills that can easily be seen from the screen.
After that Sunoo booked a dance lesson for both of you, and you found a new passion for something outside of work.
정원-
Same scenario as Heeseung and Jay. You were the one who found the dance and wanted to learn it. But it took a lot of convincing due to Jungwon being shocked that you want to learn this dance style. Most of the dances that you show Jungwon are cuter and take less skill to execute. But, you are determined to make Jungwon do this dance with you.
“Please Jungwon, I promise I will do the dishes for a month,” you said hoping that he would finally say yes.
“Hmm, no”
After multiple attempts at trying to convince him you gave up and decided to not talk to him for the rest of the day, although it was your idea, it still hurt that your boyfriend didn’t want to dance with you.
It was now nine at night and Jungwon couldn’t take the silence anymore. Throughout the day he tried talking to you but you would always walk away or find a way to leave him mid-sentence.
This resulted in him apologizing, and when he apologized, he also told you that he wanted to learn the dance with you. Which brought a huge smile to your face.
"Wait really? You want to learn it with me?" you asked, trying hard to contain your excitement.
He nodded with a bright smile on his face. So, you guys moved to the living room and started learning.
25 minutes later you guys finally finished the dance and you understood most of it, now it was time to record. Jungwon set up his phone and about 5 minutes after he was getting ready to upload it, it took you both about 3 takes until you got the perfect one.
After Jungwon posted it, the video was already getting so many likes, and the comments were filled with compliments. They talked about how great your dynamic was, how the execution was done well and some comments were also made by your friends.
Needless to say, you and Jungwon had so much fun, and he is always hoping that you will ask him to do another dance like that with you.
니키-
You were the one who showed Ni-ki the dance and to your surprise, he said yes.
But while you were getting ready to teach him the dance, he couldn’t stop laughing, and you couldn’t understand why.
“Ni-ki! Stop laughing, why are you laughing?” you asked, failing to hide a smile on your face.
He laughed even harder in reply,
“Ah I’m sorry, I’ll focus,” he said trying to keep a straight face.
With that you continued to teach him, the first two dance steps went well until he broke out in laughter again.
So here you were, looking at him with a straight face while he was dying of laughter on the floor.
“Ni-ki, I'm serious, what is so funny? I’m trying to teach you something…” slightly hurt by this.
He finally stopped laughing, “I’m sorry babe, I’ll focus, for real this time”
“No Ni-ki I want to know what’s so funny? Do you not want to do this?”
He quickly disagreed with you, the actual reason why he kept laughing was because he was nervous but he didn’t want to tell you that…
“No no, I do! it’s just…”
“It’s just what?”
“I’m nervous…” he replied.
“You’re nervous?”
He nodded his head,
“Why are you nervous, Riki?”
“I don’t know. I mean it’s the first time I’m dancing with you, and I don’t want to let you down…”
You reassured him, “You’re not letting me down Riki, I’m just glad you agreed to this but if you don’t want to dance then that’s okay too”
“No I want to do this dance with you, I promise I will focus this time”
After that, it only took 10 minutes to learn the whole thing because Ni-ki learned the dance instantly.
Once you finished learning the dance you moved on to filming. That didn’t take long either, and on your second take you both felt satisfied with the result, so you posted it.
Most of the first comments and likes were from your friends hyping you up but then an hour later your phone started blowing up with so many more comments and likes complimenting you both with how your energy is and dynamic and chemistry that was consistent throughout the whole dance.
All in all you and Ni-ki had such a fun time together learning a dance. Even though you guys have been dating for only 3 months, he hopes that this will last forever.

you finally turn in your essay you breathe a sigh of relief. but that feeling is soon gone when you check the time and see that it's 11 pm.
you look at the windows nearby and see that it's pitch black, and you check your surroundings and there are very few people left. it's finals season and the library is no stranger for students to be pulling all-nighters trying to study or turn in their projects at the last minute.
you close your laptop and pack up your stuff and go to head out when you look outside the door and you see a weird man outside, smoking something that smelt absolutely disgusting. you felt a pit of anxiety grow in your stomach because this is the only way out and any of the other exits would sound the emergency alarm. you take deep breath and decide to walk out (dumbest decision ever) and you're hit with a "hey there pretty girl, what are you doing here?" from the creep and you immediately run back into the library.
you open your contacts and go to the one labeled tobio❤️ and click on it, calling him. you knew he was probably sleeping, but you didn't really want to sleep at the library.
he picks up "hello?" his voice is groggy and laced with sleep. you start to feel bad knowing you woke him up.
"tobio?" you start. "hey i'm sorry for waking you up but there's this creep outside the library and i just-"
"i'm on my way." he cuts you off. you hear some shuffling in the background. "give me like ten minutes and i'll be there". his house is a thirty minute walk from the university library. "just wait inside okay? don't worry."
"it's okay tobio you can take your time. i'll be waiting. i love you"
"i love you too." and he hangs up. you put your phone back into your pocket and you can't help the guilty feeling that begins to swirl in the pit of your stomach. you know he has a busy schedule with balancing volleyball and school and you soon begin to regret your decision. but there was no stopping him he was probably halfway to the library by now.
you're sitting on one of the armchairs with your phone in your hand, mindlessy scrolling on social media when you feel a hand on your head, you look up and see your dark hair boyfriend. he seems out of breath and his hair a mess. he's still in pajamas, you can tell because he's wearing a stained hoodie underneath his puffer.
"lets go" he says with a small smile.
you stand up and he follows next to you as you walk out the building. when you see the man coming to approach you again you feel his arm wrap around your shoulders and pull you into his chest. you can hear his heartbeat.
"oh? back again pretty girl-"
"hey man fuck off alright." kageyama scowls at him, pulling you impossibly closer to his chest as he begins to walk faster. leaving the creep behind.
once you guys are a safe distance away he begins to loosen his grip on you but never moves his arm from your shoulder.
"i'm sorry if i woke you up." you start to say.
"why?"
"i don't know, i guess it's because you have such a busy schedule. and i know how much you care about your health and that stuff-"
"but i care about you more." he says bluntly, dark blue eyes staring into yours. "i mean i would much rather be tired at tommorows practice than have you be unsafe." he says with his cheeks turning a light shade of pink. yours do the same at his words.
you continue your walk back to his apartment. he says that after waking him up you owe this to him. of course you can't deny when he offers to give you his t shirt, and when you pull the covers up to your chest and feel his hand snake around your waist and pull you close to him, nose nuzzling into your neck you hear him whisper.
"don't ever worry about bothering me if something like this happens again." he presses a kiss to your neck and you turn around to cup his face and kiss his lips softly. you see the moonlight illuminate his features as you pull back, his eyes half lidded with a smile on his face.
"okay, tobio. goodnight" you say smiling. resting your head onto his chest as he pulls you closer.

Note
ALRIGHT! I told myself I would write this as a reward for finishing today's tasks, so lets go!
Here There Be - Director's Commentary :D!!
Starting with Chapter 1 part 1 (pages 1-4)
First of all, everyone say a big thank you to my friend and editor OurLadyOfCoffee for double checking the spelling and grammar for this comic.
Any mistakes in the writing are my own fault for making last minute changes and not showing her before posting. If she had gotten her hands on this page "missing in all the time in this city" would never have happened ( u_u)... I'll go back and fix the page eventually.
Tumblr media
Pages 1 & 2 (and 20) did not exist in the original draft of the chapter. I made it to the lineart/inking stage and the page flow was not working. April's narration felt too cramped and boring. I completely redid the whole 4 page section, and the end the final result is so much better!
Page 1 - Panel 1 had two purposes! One, the establishing shot, introducing our setting. Two, to show that NYC is rebuilding after the Krang. Its been a few months and thanks to cartoon logic, they have made significant progress fixing everything.
Tumblr media
I love to experiment with colour as a storytelling device. I use red/orange multiple times at specific points throughout the chapter. It simply morning in NYC or is there something dangerous on the horizon... (figuratively)? The good ol' "Red sky at morning, sailors take warning."
Page 1. Panel 2 has a little 1987 April reference with the lady in the jumpsuit on the right. I was really excited to see a few folks point it out, even if it's not quite the iconic yellow jumpsuit. The colour had to be muted or the bold yellow would pull attention away from April (the focus of the panel).
Tumblr media
Hello Junior, what do you have there? Something that won't get context for a while? These panels almost didn't make it into the final cut due to page/panel limits. I was very happy that the added pages gave space for it.
Page 2 - someone sent an ask a while back confused about what April was saying, so to explain the text in a more straightforward way: "the mutants that started out as humans have been going missing, but no one knows how long it has been happening or who has taken them. April has figured out that the non-human based mutations disappeared first."
Tumblr media
that orange again, this time over the spots where the now missing mutants used to be :)<. I have no idea if this sort of thing is too subtle or not subtle enough, but it makes me go eheehehee and rub my hands together like an evil mastermind.
Page 3 - I debated whether or not to have them move after the movie. How much structural damage did the Krang do on their way through? What are the chances of the lair being discovered because of this? Would the city be too focused on cleanup elsewhere to bother finding it? Do I really want to design a whole new lair when this one is cool and we barely got to see it? In the end I decided that it was more important to have a familiar visual that the readers can instantly identify as the turtle's home. We'll see if there are consequences for remaining in a potentially compromised lair. :)
Despite only showing two rooms in the page, I spent several hours gathering references and building a layout for the entire station lair. I do not control the hyperfocus, it controls me.
Tumblr media
Did you know that there are two different designs for this one archway in the main room? I love seeing stuff like this! If an animation studio with multiple background artists can have small inconsequential inconsistencies like this, then it's completely ok if it happens in my own work. It's relieving in a weird way.
Tumblr media
PAGE 3 - panel 5 is another way I tried to show that a few months have passed since the movie. They have put some work into unpacking some of those boxes stacked in the back.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Page 4 - Hello Two Phones Jones <3
The Jones Duo! They both have a little outfit change :D! CJ has a rough edged jean vest calling back to the 1990 movie with 03 colours. Casey has a base outfit colour change to match and a cropped hoodie reminiscent of 1987, in pink ofc.
Tumblr media
I do not yet have the skills to show the fight that happened in that shipping yard, so I decided that this comic would begin in the tense quiet after it. This also starts us closer to the actual plot instead of dilly dallying. Maybe I'll eventually make a prelude comic to show what all went down.
Aaand that's pretty much it for April's 03 style narrated opening sequence! This is where the intro theme would start playing~
Thank you for the star, I hope this was interesting! I make so many small decisions per page, it's nice to share some of my thoughts. :)

“What is so amusing?”
The Marauder hummed softly in the background as the team sat around, recuperating after a somewhat successful mission. Hunter, Echo, Wrecker, and Tech were sharing tactics and strategies and Tech was detailing the mission’s success. More to the point of explaining how his calculations had been spot on. But, you couldn’t help but chuckle, grabbing his attention.
“I’m just saying, Tech, your calculations might be great, but sometimes you overlook the obvious,” you teased.
Tech raised an eyebrow. “I hardly think that is the case. My assessments are thorough.”
“Oh really?” you challenged, stepping closer with a smirk. He gazes up at you from his spot, slightly wide-eyed. “I am sorry to tell you that you missed the part where the droids’ power cells were defective, which is why they were so easy to defeat.”
Tech frowned, his mind already processing your claim. “I accounted for their reduced efficiency due to age of creation, but… I didn’t specifically check for defective power cells.” He recalls quietly, pinching his chin.
Hunter and the others watched with amusement as the debate unfolded. “Sounds like a bet’s brewing,” Hunter said with a grin, leaning back in his seat.
You grinned back. “Alright, Tech, let’s make it interesting. If I’m right, you owe me a favour. And if you’re right, I’ll help with the repairs to the Marauder for a week.”
Tech considered this, the prospect of additional help appealing, especially from you, though he was confident in his calculations. “Very well, it’s a bet.”
Wrecker chuckled. “This is gonna be good.”
Tech pulled up the data on his datapad, scrolling through the information with practiced ease like he’s done this a million times before. You stand behind him, arms crossed and truthfully quite smugly-confident. After a few moments, you watch as his face fell. “It appears you are correct. The power cells were indeed defective.”
Echo clapped Tech on the shoulder. “Looks like you owe her, Tech.”
Tech simply nodded. “It seems so. I will fulfill my end of the bet.” He swivels in his chair to face you. “What is it you require?”
You ponder for a moment, not really thinking that far forward. “Undecided. But I’ll get back to you.” You say with a wink before walking away.
Tech watches you leave, swallowing hard but refusing to let the strange strain of his emotions show in front of the others.
If only you knew how you make him feel. Then again, perhaps you would be able to tell him how you are making him feel. Fluttering in the stomach when your name is mentioned in passing? Clammy hands when you talk to him? A small wave of arousal just when you’re near?
But surprisingly welcome.
It was new.
Tumblr media
A few hours later, the others had dispersed to do their own thing whether to go to Cid’s or a walk which left just you and Tech alone.
Tech approached you after staring at you silently for the last minute or so, his usual confidence tinged with a hint of awkwardness. “Have you decided yet?”
You jumped a little, not hearing him approach initially but smile at him as you face him. “I was only teasing Tech, you don’t have to do anything for me.”
“On the contrary. You asked for something from me after proving me wrong which is a rarity, so I will do what you ask.”
As he was speaking, you felt a slight pain in your shoulder that had been bugging you for a few days now which spurred on an idea. “Well… there is something you can do for me.” You say sheepishly, taking a step towards him.
The proximity suddenly made him clam up, his fists tightening behind his back as your eyes and the smell of you captivated him. Your lips are moving but he isn’t processing what you’re really saying. “Sorry,” he clears his throat, “what did you say?”
“I said you could maybe give me a massage?” You say quickly, realising how personal that sounded. “Only if you feel comfortable. It’s just I have a few knots that I feel like you could tend to.”
Tech hesitates, giving massages was definitely not his forte or something he spent researching but for you? He felt like he would do anything these days. “If i can help relieve your pain I shall do it. Albeit I can not promise groundbreaking results.”
You giggle, eyes creasing at the corners and nose scrunching. Tech had never described anything as ‘cute’ before and probably never will; however, your laughter was something he always found rather endearing and admittedly… cute.
“Really? That’d be great. Do you want to do it now since the others aren’t here?”
“That is fine with me, let me get prepared and I’ll come find you.” Tech confirms, reaching for his device to do a quick research on techniques to massages.
After doing his frantic search, Tech set up a fold-away table that was typically used for emergency medical purposes and called you over. You emerge, now having changed into some shorts and tank top and look at the table in surprise.
“Please, lie down,” he instructed.
“Gettin’ the full treatment, am I? I feel special.” You tease, hopping onto the table as you watch Tech move about.
“If you require a calming and thorough massage it is only right that I do it properly.” He says simply but hopes the slight waver of nerves in his tone didn’t show as he turns to face you, holding a bottle of what looked to be body oil. “I found this among Echo’s things. I thought it might enhance the experience.”
You raised an eyebrow, amused and quite excited. “Echo’s, huh? Do you think he will mind?”
“I was not going to plan on telling him.” Tech announced as he poured some of the oil into his bare hands, warming it before you lay down, head on a small pillow made out of the boy's spare tops.
You positioned yourself comfortably, lying face up and watch as Tech’s hands hovered over your body, as if he was unsure where to start.
“You can start with my shoulders,” you suggested gently, easing him into it.
Tech nodded, placing his hands on your shoulders and beginning to knead the tension of both this situation and your ache away. His touch was non-surprisingly gentle yet firm, and you couldn’t help but let out a soft moan as he worked on a particularly tight knot.
“You do appear very tense,” Tech observed, his voice tinged with modest concern.
The sensation of his hands on your skin was both soothing and electrifying. The oil, scented of lavender, made your skin glisten under the dim lighting of the ship. Each stroke, knead, sent waves of relaxation through your body, yet you couldn’t help but wonder if there was an underlying current of something more intimate and exciting afoot. You try to push the lewd thoughts away and focus back on Tech.
“Yeah, missions for Cid usually do that to a person,” you replied, your voice slightly breathless.
As the massage continued, you felt your muscles relaxing under Tech’s skilled hands. He moved down to your arms, taking his time to work out every knot and kink and even took his time on each of your hands, adding more oil to your skin which feels dry.
“You’ve done this before, I refuse to believe otherwise.” You sigh, eyes still closed and occasionally, you let out soft sounds of pleasure, unable to help yourself.
You don’t hear or see it but Tech’s breath hitched slightly each time you made a sound, and he could sense his growing arousal pressing against his pants.
After a few minutes or so, his mind doesn’t process like it usually does because out of nowhere he says, “If you are comfortable, you can remove your clothes.”
Your eyes open quickly, looking directly up into his, squinting to see his reaction behind his goggles. “Remove my clothes?”
“I…I only meant…” you watch him as he struggles to force out an answer but you take pity on him because you couldn’t deny, the idea did slightly turn you on.
Tech was adorably sweet in your eyes and you knew - also thanks to the other boys teasing - he felt something for you. You didn’t believe it at first because he was always the same around you. Though the more you paid attention, the more it clicked together like a puzzle piece. When does Tech ever stumble over his words? When is he ever usually wrong? When has he ever offered to give someone a nude, oily massage?
Naturally, you felt something for him too. You were just a bit better at hiding it than he was.
“Will you place a towel over my, you know?”
“Yes, of course. It is just for a more in-depth massage.” He clears his throat, finding his voice again and genuinely surprised you were going to go ahead with this.
You flushed but nodded, trusting him. You wait until he turns around before you remove your clothes, lying back down as Tech passed you a towel which you draped over yourself. “May I proceed?”
“Sure,” you nod as you close your eyes, allowing his hands to resume their work and starting with your legs. He is certainly a quick learner because his fingers knead the muscles with precision and as he glides higher towards your thighs, you feel his touch become more deliberate.
You take a peek at him with one eye, watching him secretly and you were certain he was looking at you with a look you had never witnessed before.
He looked starved. Tempted. Lustful.
Ever so discreetly, you part your legs just an inch, allowing his hands to work on the inner sides of your thighs. You try to control your breathing but the slight rush of wind that hits your core as his hands zoom past was hard to ignore.
He climbed higher and higher until you comfortably moved your legs further open, the towel still giving you your dignity yet you were sure it was about to roll off the table and down the gangplank.
The side of his hands were just inches away from touching your pussy and you waited with bated breath, wondering if he dared to cross the line… but he never did.
You peek at him again, watching him shake his head at himself as if he was scolding himself for thinking of doing something.
“Tech,” you breathed out, closing your eyes fully so he didn’t catch you looking at him, “you can massage my br- torso. You can massage my torso if you want.”
He moves round the table, standing at your side. Looking at the towel that covered your nude body, he feels a burn in his own as his mouth starts to salivate. “Will you be comfortable with me removing your towel in that case?”
With a mumble of clarification, Tech’s hands trembled slightly as he moved the towel aside. His gaze looked at your face first, analysing your reaction and was relieved to see that you didn’t seem to mind what was happening.
He looks away from you for a moment, grabbing the bottle of oil again and then gazes upon your chest, most notably your breasts.
He bites on his tongue to stop from making a noise as he slowly pours the oil over your hardening nipples before his fingers begin tracing the curves of your breasts, rubbing the oil in.
His touch was gentle this time, yet it sent waves of pleasure through your body. He stands behind your head, leaning over you as his hands caress and respectfully fondle your tits but his eyes? They were on your face, watching your reactions intently.
You couldn’t help it but your breathing gets heavier, your fingers gripping onto the edge of the either side of the table as his thumbs briefly kiss your nipples, the heat between your legs throbbing with an intensity that you wanted to whimper his name.
“Your skin is incredibly soft,” Tech murmured, his voice husky with arousal as he cups your breasts together, kneading gently into them.
You arched into his touch, your breathing ragged. “Tech… please, don’t stop.”
Your reaction nearly makes his knees buckle, he recognised this behaviour from many porn holovids he watched in secret. You were turned on and he was the reason for it.
He continued just like you wanted, not letting his ego explode, his hands exploring your body further with growing confidence. The massage was easily becoming increasingly steamy, your soft moans of enjoyment encouraging him further that the tent in his pants was starting to hurt.
Skillfully, his hands moved lower, exploring the expanse of your stomach, then to your hips, and finally to your inner soft and pillowy thighs. “You’re so good at this.” You whisper, biting your lip.
“Turn over, please,” Tech instructed, his voice a low and husky command.
You complied, turning onto your stomach. Tech again has to suppress his wanton noises as his eyes land on your arse. You could feel his gaze linger which silently makes you smirk. There’s a mix of admiration and professionalism in his eyes and he doesn’t know how to function for a moment. “Any pain in your back I should be aware of?” He asks, oiling his hands up once again.
“I get a small ache in my lower back sometimes.” You reply, speech slightly muffled as you lay your head flat on its side.
“Hopefully I can help with that.” He whispers, his hands landing on the area you said and gives you slow and purposeful strokes.
The sensation of his hands on your bare skin was incredibly intimate, and you felt yourself growing damp with arousal. Tech's touch was almost reverent, as if he was in awe of your body. It’s not long until his hands move to your arse, massaging you perfectly.
Your lip almost bleeds with how many times you bite down onto it but you couldn’t help the shivers that tingles your body. His professionalism was evident, but the effect he was having on you was undeniable. “Do you like this?”
“I’m definitely not going to say no,” you utter with a soft laugh, soon groaning as both of his hands knead at your left cheek.
As Tech moved around the table to work at your body at a different angle, you caught a glimpse of the clear arousal pitched in his pants.
The sight sent a thrill through you, knowing that your reactions and your body were affecting him just as much. Despite his aching erection, he maintained his composure, focusing on giving you the best massage possible and for that you were immensely grateful for. Though, you wouldn’t mind the latter.
His hands moved to your thighs one more, working their magic as he massages up and down each leg with a slow, intricate touch that makes you breathe out soft moans of delight. “Those are some rather seductive sounds you’re making, I have to say.”
Did he just flirt with you? Or was he just stating the obvious as usual? Perhaps it was both.
“Sorry, I can’t help it,” you say softly, propping yourself up on your elbows and look back at him, “you’re good with your hands.”
He stills, meeting your flirtatious gaze and has to fight every willpower he has not to palm himself infront of you, the ache in his pants throbbing and begging for release. “There is no need to apologise,” he says slowly. His hands are inching their way up your legs and ever so gently begins to spread your cheeks.
Your lips part, watching him as he locks eyes with your glistening pussy and you felt a surge of arousal as he uses two fingers to brush up between them, his touch feather-light and teasing.
“T-Tech,” you rasp, fingers gripping onto the table as he runs his fingers up and down your slicked entrance.
“Can I massage you here? I am positive there is quite a lot of tension that needs to be released.”
You nod fervently, biting your lip before you let out the most sinful cry of pleasure.
He paused for a moment to get your answer, then slowly, deliberately, he hooked a finger inside you.
The wet sounds of his fingers moving inside you filled the room, a mix of slick and rhythmic. His movements were slow at first, teasing, then gradually quickened, each thrust making your body shiver. Your arse jiggled slightly with each movement, adding to the allure of him finger-fucking you.
“You’re incredibly wet,” Tech remarked, his voice a mix of awe and satisfaction. “It’s pleasing to know you’re enjoying this.”
You could barely form a coherent response, your body trembling with desire as you buried your head into the table. “Tech… please, more.”
His fingers began to explore you more deeply, each movement, twisting, curling and pumping inside you. You moaned louder, your hands gripping the edges of the table as he brought you to the brink of ecstasy of one of many orgasms.
Tech moved to your side, and you seized the opportunity, reaching out to grab his cock through his pants. “Maker you feel so big,” you gasp in pleasant surprise, massaging it through the fabric, feeling its hardness and the heat radiating from it. His breath hitched, and he groaned softly.
“You may have the pleasure of having a look and a taste if that would satisfy you.”
With a swift motion, you pulled down his pants, freeing his cock without a second thought. You had to move your head back slightly so it didn’t slap you in your face and gaze at his member in awe.
“Looks so good…” you moan to yourself as you bring his tip to your mouth, teasing it with your tongue before taking him in. Tech’s fingers never stopped their rhythm inside you, and he began to thrust gently into your mouth, his cock moving in and out with a steady pace.
You slurp and suck on his cock like a woman starved, your hand gripping the shaft as you pump it back and forth while he rocks into your mouth.
“You look so cock-hungry. Has your pretty mouth and pussy been neglected for so long?” You never thought you’d hear these words pour out of his mouth but here you both were, you with his aching cock between your lips and his fingers deep and wet inside you. “Have your needs been met?”
The sensation was intoxicating, his fingers moving inside you while his cock filled your mouth, your reply a muffled and spit covered ‘yes’. You could feel him trembling, his control slipping as he thrust deeper, the corner of your lips stretching with a pleasurable pull.
You moved back onto your back, positioning yourself with your head tilted to the side so you could continue sucking his cock. Tech’s hands were everywhere, one playing with your oiled nipples, rolling and pinching them lightly, while the other massaged your clit. The dual sensation was overwhelming, and you felt yourself building to another climax as stars blur your vision.
Tech’s pace quickened, his thrusts becoming more urgent. He groaned your name, panting like a whore, his voice filled with desire. “I can’t… I’m going to…”
Before he could finish, he pulled out of your mouth with urgency, his eyes dark with lust. “I have to have you,” he murmured, his voice dripping with need.
You watched with wide and lusting eyes as he moved to the bottom of the table, his hands gripping your thighs firmly. In one swift motion, he pulled you close to him, your legs dangling off the edge. His cock, hard and throbbing, pressed against your exposed entrance. The anticipation was electric, your body quivering with need.
“Tech, please,” you whispered, your voice burning with desperation.
He needed no further encouragement. He grabs his cock, slipping it up and down between your folds, tapping it against your clit to watch your desperate whimpers of want before he pushes into you, filling you completely.
“Oh fuck! Tech!” You cried out in pleasure, your body arching against him as your head fell back. The sensation of his cock stretching you was overwhelming, and you gripped his arms, your fingers digging into the fabric of his sleeves because after all, he wasn’t even naked himself.
“Maker, your cunt is so tight,” Tech groaned, his voice strained with pleasure, “do not worry darling, you will adjust.”
He began to move, each thrust deep and powerful, slamming into you with an urgency that left you panting with breath. He pushes his goggles up to rest against his forehead, having steamed up from the erotic heat and then watched intently, eyes glued to the sight of his cock disappearing into you with each thrust.
“I do not think I will fit inside you completely,” he chuckles, “but I’ll make do.” his voice was husky and he looked you in the eyes.”
“You are mine,” he groans, his hands running up and down your thighs as he stills inside you, keeping his cock warm. “Stars, I have been wanting to see how you look whilst getting wonderfully fucked by my cock.”
Your eyes locked onto his, the intensity of the moment binding you together. “Tech… it’s so big,” you moaned, your voice barely more than a whisper.
“I know. But you are doing exceptionally well my dear… tell me how good it feels,” he demanded, his pace quickening. “I want to hear you say it.”
“Fuck, it’s so deep,” you cried out, your voice breaking as he begins to move his hips again. “It feels so good baby,”
Tech let out a loud groan at the pet name, legs like jelly. “I could get used to you calling me that.”
“Your body is incredible,” Tech groaned, his hands gripping your fleshy thighs tighter. “It should be cherished. Your pussy is perfect. I’ve imagined you wedged on my cock for a long time. And now you’re mine. My brothers will never get the chance to fuck you as good as I do.”
“I’ll only want you, Tech,” you gasped, your body trembling with pleasure. “I’ve always wanted you.”
Tech’s hands move to your waist, his grip almost bruising as he pounded into you. “I am going to fill you up,” he moaned, his voice low and feral as his deep-rooted kink for breeding you surfaces. “I’m going to spill my seed inside you, and you’re going to take it all.”
The thought sent a shiver of pure pleasure through your body, and you felt your orgasm building, the tension coiling tighter and tighter as your pussy gets pounded. “Yes, Tech! please, I need your hot cum so badly.” you begged, voice a desperate plea as sweat drips down your body.
Tech’s thrusts became erratic, his control slipping as he neared his own high. His fingers moved to your clit, pinching and flicking it in time with his thrusts. The added sensation made you sob with pleasure, your body trembling uncontrollably. “Shit oh - holy - fuck,” you’re mewling pathetically, watching half of his cock disappear inside of you.
He leaned over you, pinning you to the table, his face inches from yours. “Kiss me,” he ordered, his voice rough with need. You comply without a second thought, your lips crashing together in a desperate, hot kiss. He lets go of you, hands holding on the table as it rocked back and forth as he buries himself in and out of you.
Just as you were about to fall over into blissful release, Tech pulled out, making you whimper at the loss. “N-no, no why?”
You watch with hazy eyes as he starts to stroke himself, trying to stave off his orgasm. “Beg for my cock,” he commanded, his eyes heavy with hunger. “Tell me how much you need it.”
“Please, baby, Tech, I need you,” you pleaded, your voice desperate. “I need your cock inside me. Fuck me again, please.”
Satisfied, Tech pulled you off the table and turned you around, bending you over. He lifted one of your legs to rest on the table, angling your body perfectly. “This position will allow for deeper penetration,” he explained, his voice tinged with anticipation. “I shall be able to hit that sweet spot inside you perfectly.”
With that, he thrust back into you, his cock driving deep and hitting just the right spot. You gasp out in pleasure, your hands gripping the edge of the table for support. “Yes, Tech, right there,” you moaned. “It feels so good.”
“Good girl,” Tech groaned, his pace relentless. “Take it all my darling.”
His large, veiny cock buried deep inside you, hitting every sensitive spot. He reached forward to spank your arse, making it bounce with every thrust. “So receptive.”
Just as you thought you couldn’t take any more, Tech flipped you onto your back again, lifting your legs to dangle off his shoulders. He pounded into you with renewed vigor, his pace becoming erratic as he felt himself ready to give you everything.
“I’m going to cum,” he growled, his voice low and feral. “You will be so full.”
“Yes, Tech, do it,” you urged, your voice breathless as you move your hand between your legs, rubbing your clit to match him. “I need it so much.”
With a final, loud thrust, Tech buried himself deep inside you, his cock pulsing as he came. The sensation pushed you into another orgasm, your body trembling with pleasure.
For a moment, the galaxy seemed to stand still, the only sounds were the heavy breathing and soft moans of pleasure. As Tech slowly pulled out, you felt his warm cum slip out of you and you watch in awe as he collected it on his fingers and, with a possessive look, pushed it back inside you.
“I want every drop to stay inside you,” he murmured, his voice filled with satisfaction. “I want you to remember this.”
The sensation of his fingers inside you, combined with the aftershocks of your orgasm, made you shiver. “I won’t forget,” you whispered.
Tech leaned down, capturing your lips in a soft, tender kiss. “You are incredible,” he murmured against your lips. “I never imagined…”
“Me neither,” you replied, a smile tugging at your lips. “But I’m glad it happened.”
Tech pulled you into a gentle embrace, the intimacy of the moment leaving you both feeling connected in a way you hadn’t before. “I… I hope I did not hurt you.”
“No, not at all.” You reply with a comforting smile, “I’m just dazed.”
He smiles, pulling his goggles back down after wiping them clear. “As you could probably tell, I always had feelings for you,” he admitted softly, his voice barely more than a whisper. “I just didn’t know how to express them.”
You looked up at him, your heart swelling with affection. “I feel the same way, Tech. And not going to lie, I think I’ve always known.”

"You do know that anyone could see you, right?" She remarks, though he makes no signs that he's actually heard her as his back is given her.
Rafe is butt naked, facing the now lonely beach, out in the deck where anyone could see him if it were not to be 2 a.m.
She soon realizes though, that he's not alone, but accompanied by his cigars, and the intoxicating scent makes her body tingle under the borrowed clothes. "What ya doing?" She said once beside him.
He barely looks at her as he says, "I'm having a party back here, can't you see?" A smirk plastered across his face, while he inhaled deep into the cigarette he held between his index and middle finger.
"Jerk." She mutters, already used to his irony but bugged either way. She reaches for the pack of cigarettes, looking for one of her own, but was met with the disappointing view of its emptiness. "You fucking addict," she jokes. "you didn't even leave me one."
Rafe's smirk is still there when he looks at her scowling face. "Take this one," he hands the cylinder for her to grab, expecting her to grab it eagerly, and is nothing but correct. "I've already had two, either way."
"How long have you been here, anyway?" She says, sounding like a kid speaking with their mouth full, but instead it's an adult with a dangling cigarette between her lips. And if it were up to Rafe, he'd choose to stop staring at those.
"You were in the bathroom a while." Waking himself from the distracting sight of her, he responded. He knew that if he kept looking he'd only get a boner, and second rounds were not part of the deal. Besides, it's not like he could hide it with his still completely naked form.
"Well, I was washing away your bodily fluids, thank you very much." She was so oblivious on Rafe's attempt to warn her away from anything that reminded him of them having sex. "By the way, these clothes were what I could find. I'll give them back before I leave."
"That's alright." It was anything but alright. By this clothes, she was referring to one of his shirts and a pair of shorts that looked huge on her, and yet he had to find it hot.
She started to realize it too. How so not alright it was. It showed a level of intimacy neither of them wanted to get to. Or at least Rafe didn't, and his flushed face was no longer hard to recognize.
Their deal started when both of them, tipsy, decided to give each other some confessions, "only to set the friendship better into place." They'd said, as if years of friendship weren't enough.
When she confessed that no man had ever made her come, Rafe couldn't help but take that as seriously as one could a confession from a tipsy woman. Very seriously. He was sure of his abilities, and so he bet fifty bucks on it.
She wanted those fifty. More so that she could laugh in his face when she won against him making her come. Yet, in the span of seven minutes, Rafe had gotten those fifty back in his wallet.
They'd sworn they would never do it again.
But then a movie night at Rafe's got in the way, and soon enough they were fucking with the sound of the movie making them background.
After that they decided they enjoyed it too much for it to just stop, but, there had to be severe rules, since, in her words "the friendship went way back to throw it away." And in his words "he didn't want to commit."
Though both of them had been lying that day, neither of them knew it.
He regretted it now. Giving her his cigarette, that is. He was struggling to keep himself distracted from his own thoughts, since they all involved her. And not in a family friendly kind of way.
He could imagine grabbing her right now, how her mouth would feel, full of the intoxicating taste of tabaco as his tongue went into it. How he would use both his hands to pull her against him, and how she would moan when his thumbs caressed her covered nipples.
He felt something shoved against his chest and he could hear the sound of the ocean again, so his daydream was over. "You've got a boner." When he looks down, he realizes it is the shorts she'd had on.
She could feel Rafe staring, but she was trying very hard not to look at him. She knew a look back would only make this more complicated, and she would not hesitate to fix his 'problem'. Whether she was the reason of said problem or not.
Soon enough, she finally felt Rafe taking the shorts from her, and she could hear the sound of the fabric as he puts them on.
"I think this has to come to an end, Rafe." She says, already giving up on the cigarette and putting it in the ashtray.
Rafe looks at her, incredulous at her words, "Because of this?" He asks while motioning to his erection. "Don't be stupid, it's not you who caused it." Using the same tone a fifth grader would use to say he doesn't like the girl he's been staring at all day.
"I don't give a fuck about your erection. It's cold and dicks are weak, Rafe. I met someone."
He only looked at her through his peripheral vision, looking into her as if her wandering eyes would give him the reason of such a sudden statement.
He felt the need to ask who, why, when, where. Yet, he asked neither. Instead he completely turned to her, looking at her right in the eyes, making her whole demeanour change, and she felt small again.
"We knew this would happen, Rafe." But her words only sounded like a made-up excuse. "You know, we're friends. You're my pal." She pitied herself, and she pitied herself even more when she decided to gently punch him in the shoulder, making Rafe glare at her fist.
"Did you actually just call me your pal?" An intense scowl adorning his face. "You were sitting on my face less than an hour ago. You don't get to call me pal."
His voice was rough, as well as his face expression, but the hand grabbing her waist was nothing but a gentle touch with a longing undertone.
She could say absolutely nothing. Nothing when he pulled her closer; nothing when his eyes met hers; and nothing when their faces were mere inches apart.
“Why?” He finally dared to ask.
“Rafe, this is not up for debate. It was never supposed to come this far.” She thought her next words throughly, as if they would change anything. Or maybe hoping they would change anything. “You just don’t care about me that much for me to keep putting my heart in jeopardy.”
“I don’t think you know how much I actually care about you.” His words were stained with hurt, because how could she not realize?
Her face started to heat up from exasperation, “tell me how much you actually care, then. Because all you’ve been doing throughout our whole friendship is hid—”
She couldn’t finish her monologue before Rafe’s lips were on hers. Breaking every rule they’d ever set.
Though they’d kissed plenty of times, this time was different. She could feel everything. And not lust, or desire. But rather something more like longing and desperation.
She felt him rounding her arm around her waist, hugging her closer to him, as if he thought she was going to disappear on him. And when her hand touched his face, she retreated from the kiss, looking for his eyes, and found was she was looking for.
"Will you keep seeing him?" He asked, breathless from the kiss and breathless from  hope.
Instead of answering his question she just said, “I don’t think that’s going to be enough for how much I care.”

LMAOO OKAY IMAGINE 40s!BUCKY (like tfa stark expo version) MAGICALLY TELEPORTING TO MODERN DAY, and Sharon’s bitch ass is hanging all over him, flirting hardcore, and is absolutely thrilled bc he’s actually giving her some attention. BUT THEN HE SEES THE READER AND IS LIKE “oh wow who is THAT” and leaves her alone to go woo the gorgeous dame. I can picture her face getting all red and embarrassed and upset. And Sam and Nat and Tony are in the background giggling.
GOD I LOOOVEEE THISSSS 40's heart has my heart cause this blushing soldier would be such a perfect mix of devilishly handsome and adorably shy.
-
"Shit" Tony huffed watching his time portal experiment start up and fail for the fourth time in a row while Bruce continued to medal with the dials, resetting the machine once more. "Why does it keep doing that"
"Give it a secondary power source, there's not enough juice with the first one"
Tony nodded, rummaging through a pile of knick knacks on his desk, grabbing a vial and adding it to the generator.
"Alright, set the timer to 19:00 hours and 40 in the past. Let's see if we can just travel to yesterday first before messing with going back years" He snorted, as Bruce punched in the time before hitting the start up button. The machine started to rumble before growing hot, the dials and buttons spinning and clicking on its own, parts starting to pop off.
"Oh shit!" Tony ducked under the table, shielding himself from getting knocked out as the portal grew more powerful, a force filed growing, knocking down things around the lab.
"What the hell did you use as a power source?!" Bruce yelled over the high pitched whizz the machine started to make, blinding light filling the room before disappearing, leaving a cloud of smoke in its place.
"I don't know, I just grabbed something that look like it'd fit" Toy shrugged between coughs as the smoke dissipated, squinting when he realized the platform wasn't empty.
Someone was standing there.
"What the hell..."
Blinking with bright blue eyes was a young soldier, dressed in a fresh, clean and pressed uniform, looking like a lost puppy while Tony and Bruce blinked in both confusion and amusement.
"Banner what the hell did you do with the timer?!"
"You're vial set everything into over drive, it must've recalibrated to 1940 instead of a couple of hours ago!" Bruce threw his hands up while the younger version of Bucky stared at the lab with child like wonder, his eyes twinkling as if it were Christmas day.
"Holy shit..." He breathed out seeing the vast technology, his mind still reeling over what was happening. One minute, he was on his way to see Steve and take some girls dancing and next thing he knew, he was sucked through a loop.
"Dear God-alright, uh-Barnes?" Tony waved the soldier over, mentally debating on what to tell him.
"Mr. Stark? It's-it's an honor, sir" Bucky shook Tony's hand before standing tall before him with his back straight, ever the bright eyed Sargent. Tony scratched his head before letting him take a seat, figuring honesty was the best police.
"Sargent. This may take a while"
-
Bucky understood bits and pieces of what Tony explained to him while getting a tour of the compound, the common room being the last place for him to check out. The team alternated between greeting and secretly cooing over the adorable young Bucky while also simultaneously laughing at Tony. At the very least, the billionaire was lucky the actual Bucky was away on a mission with you and Steve; there was only so much he could handle in a day. The soldier decided to hang back in the living room with the others, happily chatting away with Sam and Nat.
Then there was Sharon
"Hey Soldier" She winked, giving him a smirk causing the young Bucky to blush, throwing her a flirty smile right back.
"Nice to meet ya' doll" Bucky drawled out making her giggle, his lip catching between his teeth when she flipped her hair back.
"Aren't you sweet" She whispered, her heart beating a little faster when he moved towards her, his sweet baby blues gazing down at her intently. She'd tried a million times to get Bucky's attention before and he didn't look at her twice. She wasn't about to lose her chance with the new one.
"Look whose talking" Bucky chuckled back, his naturally flirty nature taking over with ease, after all it would be rude for him to ignore her.
"Someone's gotta protect him from this randy she goat" Sam whispered while Nat snorted, watching the two of them continuing to flirt, Sharon's hands toying with the buttons on Bucky's uniform, making her way up to brush his collar.
There was no way she was going to just let the gorgeous soldier go.
The machine wasn't fixed any time soon so Bucky was given a room to stay in. He loved the feeling of modern day sweats, looking cute as ever in some comfy joggers and a cotton tshirt, his fluffy cropped hair always neatly brushed and face shaven.
He was a Sargent after all. He always looked his best, even in lounge clothing.
There hadn't been a day where Sharon left Bucky alone. She clung onto his side, practically crawling up his leg day in and day out while the others side eyed the situation, keeping an eye out for the innocent Bucky.
"So, what's a soldier like you doin' without a girl, hm?" Sharon teased, pressing her hand to his chest, loving the way Bucky flirted back with her while the both of them sat in the common room with a movie playing in the background. Tony, Nat and Sam glanced at each other, quietly watching from their place in the kitchen while the blonde continued to giggle and blush, running her finger's through his hair.
"How do you keep your hair so soft, Sargent"
"Well, I- woah"
Sharon frowned when the soldier stopped talking half way after something- or someone- caught his attention. His eyes grew wide, a classic boyish smile appearing on his face when he saw the prettiest dame he'd ever laid his eyes on walk by the living room, making his heart flutter.
"who was THAT" Bucky stared in awe, seeing her stretch her arms up, still in some type of modern tactical suit, rubbing sleep from her eyes and yet she was still one of the most beautiful women he'd ever seen.
"Uh-excuse me" Sharon's face twisted watching Bucky stare are you like a love struck puppy, nearly jumping over the sofa so he could run and talk to you. He didn't take his eyes off you, practically swooning when he saw you pack away the gun from you holster.
"Huh-yeah, sorry-" Bucky mumbled, still focused on you, unbothered by the way Sharon's face was now red with embarrassment, seething at what he was doing.
"Look at this guy, he's not even hiding the fact that he's staring at y/n" Sam snorted while Tony and Nat snickered, watching the young Bucky watch you with heart eyes, "Aw man, he's got it bad"
"Hey y/n, looks like someone's got a little crush on you" Nat whispered, discreetly nodding to the living room. You nearly squeaked in surprise, seeing a very very young version of your boyfriend sitting on the couch, taking peeks over at you whilst ignoring the blonde who was still fighting for his attention.
"Tony, you did this, didn't you" You sighed while Tony smiled proudly, now fully invested in how all this was going to play out.
"I'll explain later. Go wash and change and you can talk to him"
As soon as you were out of the kitchen, Bucky scrambled to the group, cheeks tinted pink, bashful as ever, looking at the three smirking faces, wiggling their eyebrows at him.
"See something you like, soldier?" Nat prodded while Bucky nearly giggled, nodding.
"Who was that" He asked in earnest, truly curious to at least get your name.
"That would be y/n. I'll introduce you once she's back down. You might be her type, y'know" Sam winked knowing damn well he was your type. After all you were technically already dating. Bucky bounced on his heels, waiting patiently while Sharon huffed, refusing to move from her spot on the couch. You made your way back down after a shower to see an exited Sam and a shy Bucky along with a smug Tony and Nat.
"Y/n, meet young Buck" Sam smiled while you held your hand out, swooning at the way he shook it gently, throwing you smile few got to see, one he had when he got butterflies in his belly.
"Nice to meet you Sarge"
"Pleasures all mine, angel" Bucky whispered, leading you off to the living room to talk to you more, offering you a seat, wondering if you wanted anything to snack on or drink, forgetting Sharon's existence entirely. Sharon nearly opened her mouth to say something, immediately shutting it with a satisfied smirk seeing the other Bucky walk in followed by Steve. Hopefully he'd see his girlfriend was a cheating whore, flirting with someone else even if it was him from the past. Her brain wracked itself in hopes that this would all crash and burn while Bucky frowned the closer he got.
"What the fuck Stark" Bucky scrunched his face walking in on some punk flirting with his girl, only to realize said punk was a younger version of him.
"Relax, I'll fuse you two together" Tony shrugged while Bucky's face twisted again, grumbling when his younger self kissed you hand again, pulling you up for a dance while fumbling with a phone he'd just managed to figure out.
"They're cute" Steve grinned, nudging Bucky playfully while Bucky rolled his eyes, smiling to himself a little while later when you caught his eyes, throwing him a wink. You laid your head against the young soldiers chest while he swayed with you, unaware that he was being watched by everyone else, in his own world with just you in it.
"You better fuse us together" Bucky hissed, narrowing his eyes when you giggled at something that was whispered in you ear; Tony snorted with a shit eating grin on his face.
"Why Barnes, scared of a little competition?"
Before Bucky could retort, Sharon was up and walking with purpose, stalking right towards Bucky.
"Y'know they're both flirting hard, right? Aren't you two dating?"
Bucky wordlessly stared at her while the others looked at her with confusion, the desperation becoming embarrassing.
"Sharon, shut up" Sam deadpanned while her mouth gaped open and shut before storming off.
"Back to what I was saying. Scared, Barnes?"
"You should be the scared one" Bucky sassed back, knowing exactly what his younger self was capable of; he knew that innocent boyish charm did wonders when it needed to. That being said, even his past self recognized real love, gravitating towards his one true soul mate after just seeing her once.
He watched the two of you continue to dance and whisper, the young soldier tipping your chin up, eyes flicking to your lips, his soft pouty pink lips so close to yours, leaning down so he could press a kiss so sweet-
"Alright that's it, punk get your hands off her!"

ex!sukuna x reader - nsfw
wc: 3.1k
you get stuck on the side of the road with no gas and the only one who comes to your rescue is your ex sukuna <3
this can't be fucking real. your car sputters as you pull onto the side of the road before it comes to a halt. your roommate had borrowed your car earlier and returned it with just enough time to drive to your date on time. she didn't tell you, however, that the tank was nearly empty, and you had to ignore the small light that went on as you neared the small bar, not wanting to be rude and arrive late.
the date was alright, and at least he asked you a question or two instead of droning on and on alone for an hour and a half like your last date did. he was handsome and seemed kind enough that you could see him making a great boyfriend for someone else, but there was an unfortunate lack of chemistry between the two of you. there was a promise to talk again soon– one that would surely be broken-- and then you found yourself on your way. driving always gave you time to think and apparently, all the thinking drowned out any warning signs that the car tried to send you before giving out.
you try your roommate first, calling her with the hopes that she's with her boyfriend and he'd be willing to drive to you and at least get you to a gas station. the blaring music in the background of the call gives you an idea of what they're up to and when she turns the camera to her boyfriend with a funnel in his mouth, you cross them off the list.
next you try your date, crossing your fingers that he's still in the area. it goes straight to voicemail. you call again, maybe it was just bad connection or something. voicemail again. "dickhead" you mutter.
your only other friend who would be willing to come pick you up without holding the favor over your head works always works a double on saturdays. you know she'd come pick you up in a heartbeat, but she needs her rest and you decide against calling.
and so you come upon your last option. you and sukuna broke up two months ago and you hadn't seen him since. it was a stupid spat- you don't even remember what the source of the problem was but at some point you just started insulting each other like fucking middle school children. he called you an overbearing bitch, you called him a jealous dickhead who couldn't get over his mommy and daddy issues. things just got away from the two of you and neither of you called to mend things. about a month ago, you just assumed you were now single and when your roommate made you a profile on a stupid dating app, you didn't delete it right away.
and so, here you are now. an empty tank, with no one except him to call. you wince as you type his number in and his contact name appears as scumbag. deciding that calling him is a better option than staying alone in a car on the side of the road all night, you close your eyes and tap the green call icon. it rings once.
"hello?" his voice is gruff and the one word squeezes your heart, making you remember how much you actually miss him, despite hating him sometimes too.
"hi sukuna, i'm sorry to bother. is this a bad time?" you hear voices in the background, he might be at a friend's. even as you ask that, you know he'd drop everything if he knew you were in need.
"what's up princess? you need something?" he uses your old nickname and the heartstrings tug even more. he ignores your question and you know that you were right.
"well, it's not an emergency, but, i ran out of gas and-" you start but don't get to finish your sentence.
"send me your location." is all he says before he hangs up.
you send it. you still had his from when you were dating, but you had stopped sharing yours a week after the argument. you knew he was liable to show up at a club if he knew you were there and didn't want to give him the satisfaction of being able to do that. you were free to do as you please. the map said that he was 22 minutes away.
within 15 minutes, you see a pair of headlights slow. you get out of your car, ready to scold him for speeding but eager to see him again, even if the last time you saw him was on bad terms. confusion enters you, though, when you see an unfamiliar car. out comes a man that you don’t recognize. “hello sweetcheeks,” says the man, walking towards you and grinning far too much for your liking. “you get lost or something?”
you head back towards your car reaching in to grab your phone but never taking your eyes off the man. “no, I’m not. I am waiting for a friend.” you try to keep your voice assertive and steady but it is difficult when this creep keeps coming towards you. you click sukuna’s contact and send him a text, ‘creepy guy here, please come quick.’
“can i wait with ya? you look like you could use a friend and I am great company.” he says, getting too close to the car and too close to you. he responds to your ‘no, thank you.’ with a “aw come on, i’m not gonna do anything to ya. why don’t you want to hang out with me? don’t be a bitch.”
“sir, i’m really gonna need you to back up right now please.” you’re cornered into your car door and you curse yourself for forgetting to replace the pepper spray on your keychain. your heart seems to be beating through your chest but you can see headlights to a much bigger car turning onto the road over the man’s shoulder. sukuna’s truck roars closer and you could almost cry in gratitude. the man in front of you doesn’t seem to notice the lights nor the man bounding towards the two of you. just as he goes to reach your hand, sukuna grabs the man’s shoulder and pulls him away from you, bending his arm behind his back so far you are sure it’s going to snap at any moment.
“listen here you degenerate piece of lowlife scum. the only reason you have your face still intact is because i’m on fucking probation and I don’t need to go to jail over some fucking incel who can’t take no for an answer. now you’re going to walk back to your car and drive on the fuck home and if i ever catch you around here creeping again, you won’t have enough limbs or teeth to try it a third time. got it?” the man nods and whimpers as sukuna releases his arm, running over to his car and speeding off.
sukuna turns to you to ask you if you’re alright but lets out a small ‘umph’ in surprise when you run into his chest and wrap your arms around him. he places a hand on your head and rubs it back and forth, muttering a “yeah, yeah” as you thank him over and over. he grabs your chin to tilt your head up to him and looks into your glassy eyes as he asks “you alright, princess?”
you nod, but don’t unwrap your arms from his torso– refusing to release your lifeline. you burrow your head into his chest again, needing a moment to ground yourself before returning to reality. he huffs, but squeezes you tight, rubbing his thumb on your shoulder. you stand like that for a minute or two before he pushes you back. “come on, let's fix your car and get you warmed up. it’s cold out here.” then he takes a look at your outfit. “hold on, where the fuck were you?”
your cheeks warm, remembering that you really tried to look cute for this date. you paired a cute slip dress with a cardigan and some short strappy heels. an outfit wasted on a man who showed up in shorts and a graphic tee but you suppose sukuna seeing you in it is at least a plus. “just a bar.” you say, while looking to the side.
he grabs your chin and brings your eyes back to him, a favorite move of his apparently, and scans your face. “you were with a guy, huh? what the fuck? are you cheating on me?” he asks incredulously.
“what? you haven’t talked to me in two months. I thought we broke up!” you reply, equally confused.
“I thought you were doing your fucking ‘healing’ or whatever the fuck you girls do! I gave you space because i was trying to be mature and let you calm down.”
“who lets someone calm down for two months? you didn’t think to call me and ask? what is wrong with you?”
“you! you are fucking wrong with me. whenever it comes to you its like all fucking reasonable thought goes out the window! how the fuck was I supposed to know it was okay to reach out? and, what, we don’t talk for a little and you think it’s okay to go talk to other guys? you’re mine, don’t you remember that? or did our dry spell fuck with your head? did you think you could get over me by dressing up for some loser and getting mediocre dick?”
yes. “no! it wasn’t like that kuna. I just, i don’t know. you were so mean and then you didn’t reach out and i thought that was it between us. I thought i needed to move on.”
he bends over so that you are eye level with each other. “there’s no fucking ‘moving on’ baby. you’re stuck with me forever.”
upon hearing those words, it’s like all the sentiment from before truly comes flooding back into you. your body seems to move on its own, surprising the both of you when you close the gap between your lips. his fist finds its way into your hair and the other grabs your waist, pulling you closer. these months were the longest you have gone without sex and you didn’t know how much you had missed it until you were back in sukunas hands with his tongue in your mouth. he moves his knee between your thighs as much as your dress will let him. the friction isn’t enough and you whine and squirm in his arms. “aw, is my baby all needy? do you need more?” he teases, the words leaving his mouth and meeting yours.
you drag your hands down his back and then slip them under his shirt to roam around his abs. fuck, you’ve missed this. “please, please kuna, need more.”
sukuna growls and pulls you back, closing the door to the driver’s seat and opening the door to the back row. he tugs your arm and maneuvers you like a doll until you’re laid across your back seats. sukuna kneels on the floor outside the car and tugs your hips to the edge of the outermost seat before hiking up your dress to your waist. he growls when he realizes you aren’t wearing panties. “are you fucking kidding me? you had this pretty pussy ready and open on a first date? like some slut?”
he bites the inside of your thigh and you cry out “no, ryo, the lines just ruin the dress. I promise.” he’s looking up at your frown and your watery eyes and you look so sincere and so adorable and he can’t take it anymore. he sticks his head into your heat, lapping at you like he hasn’t had a meal since the last time you saw him.
“fuck, baby. I’ve missed your taste so much. his fingers dig into your hips, keeping you in place as your back arches and your head digs into the seat. you can’t stop your squirming as sukuna sucks at your clit and your hands claw at your sides and the seat in search of something to grasp. sukuna grips your left leg and adjusts it so that it lays over his right shoulder. he brings your hand into his hair before dipping to play with your clit, his head lowering to kiss and swirl his tongue all around your pussy. with his other hand, he intertwines his fingers with yours, not even needing to look up to find your hand. of course he doesn’t look away– he’s entirely focused on using his tongue to make you forget anyone but him exists. he uses the palm of the hand that’s intertwined with yours to press on your tummy, making you see stars.
“fuck, ryomen, i’m gonna cum. please pleasepleasepleaseplease” your words blend together as the pleasure gets to your head. the fingers over your clit have found a deadly rhythm and when paired with his tongue that pushes in and out of you, you truly don’t stand a chance. he lets out small words that you can’t hear but the vibrations are enough to send you over the edge, crying out and squeezing your thighs around him like a vice. as you come down from your high you let sukuna move you up, making space for him to get into the car and close the door behind him.
you’re dazed as you watch him unbuckle his belt and pull the waistband of his boxers down. His dick slaps his abdomen, hard and pulsing. he fists himself as he licks his lips, smirking. “delicious as always princess. now are you gonna let me in?” and you don’t think you could nod faster. you’re almost positive that there are hearts in your eyes as you watch him line himself up with you, fingers playing with your clit a little before spreading you for his tip. he rolls his hips forwards just enough so the tip catches and the stretch is already dizzyingly good. he curses, “holy fuck, did you not touch yourself at all while you were alone?”
“I did, my fingers just weren’t enough.” you whine, and the image of you in bed horny and frustrated because your little fingers weren’t hitting all the spots that he could makes him impossibly harder.
“fuck, baby, I didn’t just ruin you for any other guy, I ruined you for yourself too, huh? nothing else will do for this pretty pussy but my cock or my fingers or my mouth. what a spoiled little cunt you have.” he laughs. you have had enough of his teasing and try to roll your hips to get more in. “alright alright I get it. easy baby, easy. by the way, what did you have for dinner tonight?”
confused, you reply “chicken francaise, wh–” but you don’t get to finish your sentence, interrupted by sukuna fully thrusting into you. you gasp, the sting of your walls stretching to accommodate him intense even after cumming once already.
“I figured a distraction might help you relax a little better but holy fuck you’re tighter than I could have imagined. you really must have barely touched yourself while I was gone. don’t worry, this pussy won’t get neglected again.” he says, and rolls his hips again. sweat drips down your forehead as he leans over to kiss you, working his hips into yours in a delicious rhythm. as soon as you notice that his thumb has started rubbing your clit, he bites your bottom lip and the pain and pleasure mix into a mind numbing, all encompassing haze. he brings his other hand to pinch your nipple and it is enough to send you over the edge again.
being the man that he is, however, he does not let you catch a break before flipping you over to be on your hands and knees. you’re crouched and you’re sweaty and it’s hot as he slides against you but nothing has been more erotic and you find that you love it. he’s merciless now, hips snapping into yours as he chases his own pleasure. there’s just one thing he can’t get out of his mind. “did you like having your fun? was going out with those losers everything you had hoped for and more?” he spits the words into your ear, the smack of his hips getting rougher and rougher as he speaks.
it’s all you can do to turn your head and whine out “n-no! only wanted you ryo, hated going out with other guys.” you pout just remembering it. “please make me forget about them. I only ever want you.” the request is enough to send him into overdrive, and he sticks his fingers into your mouth to shut you up, knowing that he was going to be seconds away from coming if you uttered another word. you moan at the taste of yourself and at the feeling of him so deep inside you. you suck his fingers clean running your tongue across his digits. some of the spit escapes and drips down the side of your mouth and the sukuna goes wild at the debauchery of it all.
“fuck, fuck fuck fuck i’m gonna cum, where do you want it princess?” he groans, hips stuttering as he tries to hold his release back.
there is, of course, only one right answer. “inside!” you keen, pushing your hips back to try to give him nowhere to escape to.
“dirty fucking girl.” he snarls. “I’ll give you my cum– don’t worry princess, it’s all yours.” he says before groaning and stilling inside you. you feel the warmth fill you and grin, knowing that it is where it’s supposed to be. he turns your head and kisses you with fervor before pulling you back and sitting you on his lap. you lay your head on his chest, catching your breath and basking in the feeling of being in his arms once again.
...
“so, are you really on probation?” you ask, rubbing your thumb in circles over one of the tattoos on his chest.
“yeah, I told you, i go crazy when it comes to you. after our argument i went out and got into a fight with the first person who was stupid enough to respond to my antagonizing. got caught kicking the shit out of him because I was so in my head. don’t fucking leave me again, I don’t think i’d survive the next one. well, i might, but the next guy I fight probably wouldn’t.”

Tumblr media
The long drive wasn’t something you minded—at first, anyway. You had your headphones in, your laptop balanced on your lap, and hours of video footage to edit for your YouTube channel. Outside the bus, the world blurred into a mosaic of green fields, dusty highways, and faded billboards. Inside, the faint hum of conversation mixed with the occasional strum of Vi’s guitar and Jinx’s rhythmic drumming on a nearby table. Caitlyn was curled up in a seat, scribbling in her notebook, and Sevika lounged across from you, headphones on, looking completely unbothered.
It was the perfect setting for productivity, or so you thought.
With your playlist drowning out the background noise, you fell into your editing zone. Your fingers flew across the keyboard as you adjusted lighting, spliced clips, and refined transitions for a vlog you planned to post soon. The soothing rhythm of your work almost made you forget where you were—until the interruptions started.
At first, it was harmless. Vi, clearly bored, reached over to tap the edge of your keyboard, grinning when you swatted her hand away. A few minutes later, Caitlyn leaned in under the guise of offering input, only to give a mock-serious nod and say, “Looks good to me,” before retreating to her seat with a laugh. Then Jinx decided to get involved, leaning dramatically over your shoulder to narrate your edits in an over-the-top announcer voice:
“And here we see Y/N, hard at work, crafting what is sure to be a masterpiece… unless her genius is interrupted!”
You shot her a glare, but the smile tugging at your lips betrayed your annoyance.
It became a game to them—a cycle of pokes, prods, and sarcastic commentary. Each of them took turns testing your patience, like some unspoken competition to see who could get the biggest reaction out of you.
And then Sevika stepped in.
You were mid-edit, headphones on, completely focused on syncing a transition when your screen suddenly went black.
“What the hell?” You ripped off your headphones, your heart sinking as you stared at the blank laptop screen. Slowly, you turned to face the culprit.
Sevika stood beside you, her arms crossed and a cocky smirk plastered across her face. “You’ve been glued to that thing for hours,” she said casually, her tone infuriatingly calm. “Thought I’d do you a favor.”
“A favor?” Your voice pitched with disbelief. “By shutting off my laptop? Are you out of your mind?”
The rest of the band erupted into laughter. Vi was practically rolling on the floor, Jinx clutched her sides, and Caitlyn tried—and failed—to cover her amused grin.
“Oh, real funny,” you snapped, glaring at them. “Glad my mental breakdown is such quality entertainment for you.”
“Relax,” Sevika said, her smirk never faltering. “You can always start over.”
You stood abruptly, clutching your laptop like it was your lifeline. “If any of you touch my computer again, I swear I’m locking your equipment up and throwing the key into the nearest ditch.”
“Alright, alright,” Caitlyn said, holding up her hands in mock surrender. “We’ll back off… for now.”
You glared at all of them one more time before sitting back down, muttering under your breath as you reopened your laptop and prayed your unsaved work wasn’t lost forever.
Tumblr media
The venue buzzed with excitement that night, the air charged with the hum of anticipation. You hung back as the band prepared for their set, observing the chaos of pre-show rituals. Jinx and Caitlyn exchanged last-minute quips while Vi strummed her guitar, testing the tuning.
And Sevika?
She was leaning casually against a wall backstage, surrounded by a small group of fans who’d somehow gained access. They hung on her every word, their laughter ringing out as she threw them that trademark smirk. She signed autographs, posed for pictures, and slipped in the kind of flirtatious comments that made their faces light up.
You rolled your eyes, trying to focus on anything else. It was the same routine every time—a parade of adoration that Sevika basked in like a queen holding court.
“Think they’ll ever get tired of her?” Caitlyn asked, sidling up beside you.
“Doubtful,” you replied, crossing your arms. “She eats this stuff up.”
Caitlyn chuckled, shaking her head. “Well, try not to let it ruin your night. Just enjoy the show.”
“Yeah, sure,” you muttered, casting one last glance at Sevika as she laughed at something one of the fans said. Her gaze flicked to you then, catching your eye. Her smirk widened, a knowing gleam in her eye as if she’d caught you watching.
You scoffed and turned away, determined not to let her get under your skin. But as the band was called to the stage, you couldn’t shake the feeling that Sevika enjoyed the game just as much as you did.
The concert was, as expected, electric. The moment Vi stepped onto the stage and shouted her opening line, the crowd erupted. The energy was infectious, the music pounding through your chest as the band launched into their first song. You watched from the edge of the stage, half mesmerized by the sheer power they commanded.
Vi owned the stage, alternating between singing her heart out and shredding her guitar with practiced ease. Caitlyn’s keyboard melodies added depth to every track, while Jinx’s drumming was a chaotic yet perfectly timed rhythm that tied it all together. Sevika, as always, stole the show during her guitar solos. The way her fingers danced across the strings sent the crowd into a frenzy, and you couldn’t deny that she had a magnetic presence, even if you rolled your eyes at it more often than not.
As the concert reached its climax, the energy in the room soared. Fans screamed the lyrics back at Vi, fists pumping in unison, and the stage lights bathed the entire venue in a kaleidoscope of colors. You couldn’t help but get swept up in it, bobbing your head and mouthing along to the words of songs you’d become all too familiar with.
When the last note rang out, the applause was deafening. Vi grinned as she leaned into the mic, her voice hoarse but full of excitement. “Thank you, LA! You’ve been amazing tonight!”
The band exited the stage to thunderous cheers, and you joined them backstage, where the energy was still high. Jinx whooped loudly, throwing her drumsticks in the air and catching them before spinning to hug Caitlyn, who laughed and dodged the full brunt of Jinx’s excitement.
“That was insane!” Jinx exclaimed, bouncing on the balls of her feet. “Best crowd yet!”
“Easily,” Caitlyn agreed, still grinning.
Vi slung an arm around Sevika’s shoulders, her expression smug. “We crushed it tonight.”
“Always do,” Sevika replied coolly, though her slight smirk gave away her satisfaction.
You hung back slightly, letting the band revel in their success. It was a reminder of why they were so good together—the chemistry, the camaraderie. Even Sevika’s cocky demeanor felt earned after a performance like that.
“So,” Vi said, turning to the group with a mischievous glint in her eye. “What’s next? We’re in LA, the night’s young… I say we hit the club.”
Jinx’s eyes lit up. “Hell yeah! Let’s do it!”
Caitlyn raised an eyebrow, though her lips twitched in amusement. “You’ve still got adrenaline to burn off, don’t you?”
Vi turned to you then, a challenging smile on her face. “What about you, Y/N? You in?”
You hesitated for a moment, weighing your options. On one hand, clubbing with a rock band wasn’t exactly your usual scene. On the other hand, you couldn’t deny that the idea of letting loose after the day you’d had sounded… tempting.
“Why not?” you finally said, shrugging. “Someone’s gotta make sure Jinx doesn’t end up on top of the bar.”
“Hey!” Jinx protested, though her grin said she wasn’t offended.
Vi laughed, clapping you on the shoulder. “That’s the spirit! Alright, people, let’s get to our hotel, change and get fucked up. Tonight’s gonna be one to remember.”
As the band dispersed to grab their things, you found yourself lingering near the stage exit. Sevika walked past, her smirk firmly in place as she tilted her head toward you.
“You clean up alright?” she teased, her tone playful.
“Guess you’ll have to wait and see,” you replied smoothly, matching her confidence.
Her smirk widened, but she didn’t respond, leaving you with a curious flutter in your chest as she sauntered off.
This night was definitely going to be interesting.
Tumblr media
As soon as you and Caitlyn got back to the hotel, the two of you dove into your suitcases, rummaging through outfit after outfit for the perfect look. Clubbing in LA wasn’t just a night out—it was a statement. Caitlyn settled on a sleek, black jumpsuit paired with combat boots, her look effortlessly cool as always.
You, on the other hand, had your sights set on something bold. After trying a few options, your eyes landed on the black strappy top, leather skirt, thigh-high stockings, and platform boots tucked away in your suitcase. Once you slipped it on and adjusted the straps to fit just right, Caitlyn gave you an approving whistle.
“Well, someone’s definitely turning heads tonight,” she teased, leaning against the bedpost.
You smirked at your reflection in the mirror, turning slightly to check the back. “You think?”
“Oh, I know. Sevika is going to lose it when she sees this.”
The two of you finished getting ready, sharing excited chatter about the night ahead. Instead of drawing attention by taking the tour bus, the group decided to order an Uber Black to keep things low-key—or so you thought.
As the sleek black SUV pulled up to the club, the flashing lights of cameras and the deafening screams of fans made it clear that your “low-key” plan was a bust. Paparazzi swarmed the car before you could even step out, their flashes illuminating the night as fans shouted your name and the band members’ names.
“Looks like the cat’s out of the bag,” Caitlyn murmured, adjusting her sunglasses even though it was well past sunset.
“Doesn’t matter,” you replied, stepping out with confidence. “We’re here to have fun.”
And fun you had.
Inside the club, the atmosphere was electric. The music thumped loudly enough to vibrate through your chest, and the neon lights bathed the entire room in vibrant shades of pink, blue, and green. You didn’t waste any time, heading straight to the bar with the group to take your first round of shots.
One shot turned into three, then four, and by the fifth, you were officially buzzed. The band laughed and cheered, hyping each other up as you all took turns ordering rounds. Vi was the first to drag everyone onto the dance floor, her infectious energy pulling you into the mix.
By the time the DJ transitioned to My Chemical Romance, your confidence had hit its peak. You climbed onto the table without hesitation, mic in hand as you sang along to every word. The crowd around you roared their approval, and even the DJ gave you a grin and a thumbs-up.
“Careful,” Sevika murmured behind you, her large hand steadying your waist. She stood close, her presence grounding you even as you swayed to the music.
“I’ve got this,” you replied with a playful wink, though you appreciated the gesture.
Fans in the crowd snapped photos of the moment, flooding social media with hashtags and captions speculating about the dynamic between you and Sevika. It wasn’t long before the night took a dramatic turn.
Tumblr media
The energy in the club reached a fever pitch, and you were right in the middle of it all. Standing on the table, your confidence amplified by the shots coursing through your veins, you swayed to the music, your arms raised as you sang along to the DJ's playlist. The crowd below cheered, their phones raised to capture the moment, flashes lighting up the space like strobes.
From the corner of your eye, you spotted Sevika making her way toward you, her towering frame cutting through the throng of people with ease. She didn’t look impressed—her brows furrowed, her jaw tight. When she finally reached you, she wasted no time, her large hands gripping your waist firmly.
“Alright, come down before you hurt yourself,” she said, her voice low but commanding as she steadied you.
You groaned, pouting down at her. “I’m fine, Sevika. Seriously. Let me have my fun!”
Sevika raised an unimpressed brow, her hold on your waist unwavering. “You might not care, but I do. Now, down.”
You huffed but allowed her to guide you down, her hands staying securely on your waist until your boots hit the floor. The warmth of her touch lingered, and you couldn’t resist teasing her, even as you stumbled slightly.
“When did you get so caring?” you asked with a smirk, brushing your hair out of your face.
Sevika’s lips twitched, but she didn’t rise to the bait. “You’ve had enough of the spotlight for tonight. Now behave.”
You laughed, rolling your eyes. “You’re no fun.” With that, you headed back to the bar, brushing off the attention as you ordered yet another shot, determined to keep the night alive.
As the hours wore on, the club became impossibly packed. Word of you and your friend’s presence had spread like wildfire, and the space was now teeming with fans trying to catch a glimpse of the band. The once vibrant atmosphere now felt claustrophobic.
Caitlyn, ever the level-headed one, noticed the shift and knew it was time to call it a night. She signaled to the group, her phone in hand as she ordered a car. “Alright, let’s get out of here before this gets out of control.”
Reluctantly, everyone began to gather, though it was clear the alcohol had taken its toll. You were more than a little drunk, laughing at everything and swaying slightly as Sevika grabbed your hand, pulling you through the crowd. Paparazzi swarmed the group the moment you stepped outside, their cameras flashing like fireworks.
While the others kept their heads down, trying to maneuver through the chaos, you basked in the attention, smiling and waving despite Caitlyn’s exasperated look. “Y/N, keep moving!” she called over her shoulder.
You giggled, letting Sevika tug you along. Her grip on your hand was firm, grounding you as the two of you finally made it to the car. When you climbed in, it was immediately clear there weren’t enough seats for everyone. Caitlyn took the passenger seat while the others crammed into the back.
“You’re on my lap,” Sevika said, her tone leaving no room for argument.
You didn’t hesitate, settling onto her lap with surprising ease. You leaned your head against the back of the passenger seat, closing your eyes as the gentle hum of the car lulled you into a daze. Sevika’s hands rested lightly on your waist, her touch oddly comforting. You didn’t care—your drunken state left little room for embarrassment.
The others were loud, laughing and joking as the car sped toward the hotel. Vi was hanging halfway out of the window, yelling into the night, while Jinx snapped blurry pictures on her phone. Caitlyn, ever the responsible one, shook her head at their antics but couldn’t hide her small smile.
When the car finally pulled up to the hotel, Caitlyn took charge, helping everyone out one by one. You leaned heavily against her as she guided you to your room, her patience unwavering despite your drunken giggles.
She eased you onto the bed, pulling off your boots and tucking you in before lying down beside you with a tired sigh. You turned toward her, your gaze hazy but affectionate as you grabbed her hand, pressing a sloppy kiss to the back of it.
“We’re locked in, you know that, right?” you mumbled, your voice slurred but earnest.
Caitlyn chuckled softly, brushing a strand of hair from your face. “You only do that when you want to tell a secret. What is it?”
You giggled, your cheeks warm. “I wanna fuck Sevika so bad.”
Caitlyn groaned, though her smile betrayed her amusement. “Of course you do,” she muttered, shaking her head.
You grinned, unbothered. “Your turn. Tell me a secret.”
Caitlyn hesitated for a moment before sighing. “Fine. I’m in love with Violet.”
Your eyes widened slightly, but your grin only grew. “I’m not surprised. I see the way you look at her, Cait. You’re so obvious.”
Caitlyn laughed, squeezing your hand. “Secrets locked in.”
“Secrets locked in,” you echoed, your voice soft as sleep began to pull you under.
The two of you drifted off together, your quiet confessions lingering in the stillness of the room.
Tumblr media
The harsh light streaming through the curtains woke you up first, followed closely by the incessant buzzing of your phone. Your head pounded, a dull ache that reminded you of every shot you’d thrown back the night before. With a groan, you rolled over, reaching for your phone on the nightstand, only to see the screen lit up with a flood of notifications.
Your phone was practically vibrating off the surface with the number of missed calls, texts, and alerts from various apps. Blinking through the haze of your hangover, you squinted at the screen.
37 missed calls.
62 unread texts.
“[Y/N] trending on Twitter.”
Your stomach dropped.
The first thing you opened was your messages, and right at the top was a slew of texts from your manager, each one more frantic than the last.
Manager 👹: “Call me. Now.”
Manager 👹: “Why am I waking up to THIS?!”
Manager 👹: “This is going to blow up even more if we don’t get ahead of it.”
Manager 👹: “PLEASE CALL ME ASAP.”
You groaned, already dreading the conversation, but curiosity got the better of you. Opening Twitter, you braced yourself for the chaos.
The first thing you saw was an article headline:
"Rockstar Sevika and Influencer (Y/N) (L/N) Spotted Holding Hands and Getting Cozy at the Club Last Night—Are They Dating?"
The accompanying picture was from last night—Sevika’s hand on your waist as she helped you down from the table, your head tilted back in laughter, clearly drunk out of your mind. There was another photo of you two holding hands as she led you through the crowd outside the club, the paparazzi’s flashes catching every intimate angle.
You scrolled down to see countless tweets from fans and gossip accounts dissecting every detail of the night.
- “So… are Sevika and [Y/N] a thing?? 👀”
- “That waist grab? HELLO???”
- “The chemistry is unreal. I’m shipping it.”
- “[Y/N] is literally living my dream. I can’t even.”
You groaned, burying your face in the pillow. “Oh my god.”
Caitlyn stirred beside you, her own groggy voice cutting through the fog. “What’s wrong?” she mumbled, her face half-buried in the blanket.
You held up your phone without saying a word, letting her squint at the screen. She blinked a few times before her lips curled into a mischievous smirk. “Well, looks like you had a very eventful night.”
“You think this is funny?” you grumbled, tossing your phone aside.
“A little,” Caitlyn admitted, stretching. “But you did kind of bring this on yourself. You were all over Sevika last night.”
“I was drunk!” you defended, sitting up too quickly and regretting it immediately as the pounding in your head worsened.
“Drunk or not, the internet thinks you’re dating her now.”
Before you could respond, your phone buzzed again with yet another call from your manager. With a deep breath, you reluctantly answered, pressing the phone to your ear.
“Good morning,” you croaked, your voice still rough from sleep.
“Morning? Morning?! Do you have any idea how many damage control calls I’ve had to make already?” your manager’s voice was sharp, bordering on panic. “What happened last night? Why is half the internet convinced you and Sevika are in some whirlwind romance?”
You sighed, pinching the bridge of your nose. “It’s not what it looks like. She was just helping me—”
“Helping you down from a table while holding your waist and leading you out of the club hand in hand?” your manager interrupted, not buying it. “The pictures don’t scream ‘just helping.’ You know how people are going to spin this.”
“Okay, but we’re not dating,” you said firmly, though your cheeks heated at the memory of Sevika’s steady hands on you.
“Doesn’t matter. This is already everywhere, and people are eating it up. We need to decide how to handle this—deny it, ignore it, or lean into it.”
You groaned again, flopping back onto the bed as Caitlyn chuckled beside you, clearly enjoying your predicament. “I can’t deal with this right now. My head is killing me.”
“Drink some water and get it together,” your manager snapped. “I’ll call you in an hour. Figure out what you want to do by then.”
The call ended, leaving you staring at the ceiling, your phone still buzzing with notifications.
Caitlyn rolled over to face you, propping her head on her hand. “So, what’s the plan, superstar?”
You shot her a glare, but her grin only widened. “I hate you,” you muttered, burying your face in the pillow again.
But even as the headache and the stress loomed, you couldn’t stop thinking about Sevika’s touch—the way her hand had lingered on your waist, the steady warmth of her presence amidst the chaos. Maybe the internet wasn’t entirely wrong.

The apartment smelled like betrayal and overpriced candles—lavender and eucalyptus, her ex’s favorite combo. Y/N didn’t even need to see them to know. The telltale sounds of a Netflix drama playing faintly in the background and the muffled giggles from the bedroom made it crystal clear.
She opened the door to the bedroom slowly, not to give herself time to think, but to give them time to scramble. Predictably, her boyfriend—scratch that, ex-boyfriend—was tangled in the sheets with someone she vaguely recognized from his office party.
“Oh,” Y/N said, leaning casually against the doorframe. Her face betrayed nothing, though her pulse roared in her ears. “Am I interrupting?”
“Y/N!” he yelped, scrambling to cover himself. The girl next to him let out a shriek and disappeared under the duvet like a groundhog on February 2nd.
“Relax,” Y/N said, waving a dismissive hand. “I’m not here to fight. I’m here to pack.”
“Baby, I—” he started, but she held up a finger, silencing him with the same energy as a teacher about to hand out detention.
“Let’s not make this awkward. You cheated. I’m leaving. End of story.”
As he stammered out excuses, Y/N grabbed a suitcase from the closet and began filling it with essentials: her favorite jeans, skincare products, and that hoodie he always tried to claim but was way too good for him.
He was still talking—something about “miscommunication” and “it didn’t mean anything”—when she paused, holding up a pair of lacy underwear that definitely wasn’t hers.
She arched an eyebrow. “Miscommunication? Is that what we’re calling it now?”
“Y/N, please—”
“Save it.” She stuffed the mystery lingerie into the suitcase, purely for dramatic effect, and zipped it shut. Turning to leave, she glanced back one last time, her lips quirking into a sardonic smile. “By the way, you should really wash those sheets. They reek of desperation.”
She slammed the door behind her and leaned against it for a moment, letting out a deep breath. The anger was manageable, but the hurt? That was going to take a while.

Fifteen minutes later, Y/N was sitting cross-legged on her best friend Lia’s couch, inhaling greasy pizza and venting like her life depended on it.
“And then he had the audacity to stammer like he was the victim!” Y/N said, waving a slice of pepperoni for emphasis.
Lia snorted, handing her a glass of wine. “Men are predictable. You date a loser; you get loser behavior.”
“Four years, Lia. I wasted four years of my life on that guy.”
“Well,” Lia said, tilting her glass toward her, “here’s to starting over. Clean slate. No losers, no drama, and definitely no more ‘boyfriend’ nonsense.”
Y/N clinked glasses with her. “Amen to that.”
Lia grinned, leaning in conspiratorially. “You know what you need? A ho phase.”
Y/N raised an eyebrow. “A what now?”
“A ho phase,” Lia repeated, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. “You’ve been playing housewife since you were eighteen. It’s time to cut loose. No strings, no commitments—just fun.”
Y/N took a sip of wine, mulling it over. “A ho phase, huh?”
Lia nodded, her eyes gleaming with mischief. “We’ll start tomorrow night. There’s a party at Zach’s place, and trust me, it’ll be crawling with eligible distractions.”
Y/N laughed despite herself. “Alright, fine. One party. But if it’s lame, I’m bailing.”
“Deal,” Lia said, raising her glass. “To your ho phase.”
“To my ho phase,” Y/N echoed, clinking glasses again. But as she stared into her wine, she couldn’t help but wonder if she was really cut out for this.
Still, one thing was certain: her ex was the past, and the future? Well, the future was wide open.

The Beginning: The Heartbreak

Y/N laughed despite herself. “Alright, fine. One party. But if it’s lame, I’m bailing.”
“Deal,” Lia said, raising her glass. “To your ho phase.”

Still, one thing was certain: her ex was the past, and the future? Well, the future was wide open.
⊹₊ ˚‧︵‿₊୨୧₊‿︵‧ ˚ ₊⊹
The bass from Eric’s party was so loud it practically had its own gravitational pull. Lia was already dragging Y/N through the front door before she could come up with an excuse to leave.
“Okay, ground rules,” Lia said, gripping Y/N’s arm as they weaved through the crowd. “No sulking in the corner, no long rants about your ex, and absolutely no turning down free drinks.”
Y/N rolled her eyes. “Got it, Mom.”
“I’m serious!” Lia said, pausing to adjust Y/N’s top, which she claimed needed to show “just a little more clavicle.” “Tonight’s about you. Fun, freedom, and maybe a little chaos.”
Y/N laughed, shaking her head. “Fine. Fun, freedom, chaos. Got it.”
They made their way to the makeshift bar in the kitchen, where Lia handed Y/N a solo cup filled with something suspiciously blue. “What is this?” Y/N asked, eyeing the drink.
“No idea,” Lia said, taking a sip of her own. “But it’s strong, so drink up.”
Y/N took a tentative sip, grimacing as the sweetness hit her tongue. It tasted like regret and gummy bears, but she wasn’t about to back down.
“See? You’re already having fun,” Lia said, grinning. “Now, go mingle. I’ll be back in a bit.”
Before Y/N could protest, Lia disappeared into the crowd, leaving her alone in the chaos. She sighed, leaning against the counter and sipping her drink. Maybe this whole “ho phase” thing wasn’t for her after all.
And then she saw him.
⊹₊ ˚‧︵‿₊୨୧₊‿︵‧ ˚ ₊⊹
He was leaning against the wall across the room, a red solo cup in one hand and an easy, confident smile on his face. His dark hair fell perfectly into place, and his eyes had a mischievous glint that made him look like he was always on the verge of saying something outrageous.
He caught her staring and raised an eyebrow, his smile widening into a smirk.
“Uh-oh,” Y/N muttered to herself, turning back to her drink.
A moment later, she felt someone step up beside her.
“Deer in headlights,” the guy said, his voice low and teasing.
Y/N glanced at him, narrowing her eyes. “Excuse me?”
“You’ve got that look,” he said, leaning against the counter next to her. “Like you’re wondering how the hell you ended up here.”
“I’m wondering how you ended up here,” Y/N shot back.
He laughed, and the sound was warm, like honey drizzled over a snarky comment. “Fair. I’m Sunwoo, by the way.”
“Y/N,” she said, taking another sip of her drink.
“Y/N,” he repeated, like he was testing the name on his tongue. “So, what brings you to the circus tonight?”
“My friend dragged me here,” she admitted. “Apparently, I need to ‘cut loose.’”
Sunwoo raised an eyebrow. “And how’s that going so far?”
“Well, I’m talking to you, so… mediocre at best,” she said, her lips twitching into a smile.
He grinned. “Ouch. Guess I’ll have to step up my game.”
Before she could respond, someone called Sunwoo’s name, and he glanced over his shoulder. “Looks like I’m needed,” he said, turning back to her. “But I’ll see you around, Y/N.”
And just like that, he was gone, disappearing into the crowd like a magician after the big finale.
Y/N shook her head, trying to ignore the way her heart skipped a beat.
“Fun, freedom, chaos,” she muttered to herself. “What could possibly go wrong?”
⊹₊ ˚‧︵‿₊୨୧₊‿︵‧ ˚ ₊⊹
The music in the party was pounding louder now, the bass vibrating through the floor as Y/N stood alone by the counter, nursing her drink. She couldn't get Sunwoo out of her head. The way his smirk lingered when he looked at her, the playful way he talked—it was all too much.
What had just happened? One
conversation, and she felt like her whole night had shifted. She didn't know whether to feel embarrassed or excited.
Then, just as her mind began to race, she saw him again.
Sunwoo was making his way across the room toward her, his confidence unmistakable.
When he reached her, he leaned in close, the scent of his cologne making her pulse quicken.
"Back again, huh?" His voice was low, teasing, but there was something in it that made her heart race.
"Couldn't stay away," she said, surprised at how easily the words slipped from her lips. "You must be getting desperate."
He grinned, eyes twinkling.
"Not desperate. Just interested."
"Interested in what exactly?"
Y/N couldn't help but ask, arching an eyebrow.
Sunwoo's gaze dropped to her lips for just a second before flicking back to her eyes. "In you."
The words hung in the air, heavier than anything she could have imagined.
Y/N's breath caught. She
swallowed, trying to focus on something-anything-other than the feeling of his
presence overwhelming her.
"I'm not really the kind of girl who does this kind of thing."
He smirked, leaning a little closer. "Lucky for you, neither am I."
Y/N couldn't resist the urge to glance at his lips again, her heartbeat thundering in her chest. Was this really happening? Could it be this easy? She had sworn off relationships, but this... whatever this was with Sunwoo, felt like an escape.
Before she could say another word, Sunwoo closed the gap between them. His lips brushed lightly against hers, a tentative touch that sent sparks flying through her. Her pulse spiked. She hadn't expected it to feel like this, not with someone she'd just met.
His hand found her waist, pulling her closer, and she didn't resist. The heat between them intensified, and before she knew it, she was kissing him back, responding with the same urgency. His lips were soft but insistent, and Y/N felt something unfamiliar stir inside her-something she couldn't quite name but wanted to explore further.
She pulled away just enough to breathe, but Sunwoo wasn't having it. His lips found hers again, this time deeper, hungrier.
One of his hands slid to her back, pressing her body against his. The chemistry between them was undeniable.
"Are you sure about this?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper, her body already responding to him in ways she couldn't control.
Sunwoo's grin was sly. "Are you?"
Y/N closed her eyes, shaking her head. It didn't matter. The night had already taken a turn she hadn't planned, and part of her wanted to see where it went. She wasn't just going to let the moment slip away. Without thinking, she kissed him again, deeper this time, pulling him in even closer. He responded immediately, his hands roaming as his body pressed against hers, both of them forgetting about everything else in that moment.
The noise of the party, the people around them, it all faded into the background as Y/N allowed herself to focus on the only thing that mattered right then: the way Sunwoo made her feel.
⊹₊ ˚‧︵‿₊୨୧₊‿︵‧ ˚ ₊⊹
The sunlight filtered through the blinds, casting a soft glow across the room. Y/N's head was spinning, a mix of alcohol and the lingering heat of the night before. She groggily blinked, her body aching in all the right places, and for a brief moment, she forgot where she was.
Then, she heard it—a soft snore.
Her gaze shifted to the bed beside her, and there he was, sprawled out next to her.
Sunwoo. His dark hair was a mess, his lips slightly parted in sleep, and his arm was draped over her waist, pulling her closer even in slumber. It didn't take long for the memories of the previous night to come rushing back.
The kiss. The way their bodies had moved together in perfect harmony. The heat. The connection.
She exhaled sharply, guilt flooding her chest. What had she just done?
Y/N gently shifted away from Sunwoo, careful not to wake him, and grabbed her phone from the nightstand. The harsh reality of her situation settled in-she'd really gone and done it. And she had no idea what this meant. Was this just a random hook-up?
A one-time thing? Or did it mean something more?
Her thoughts spiraled as she swung her legs off the bed, feeling the aftermath of their passion in the soreness that radiated through her limbs.
As she stood, trying to steady herself, she froze when she heard Sunwoo shift behind her.
"Morning," he said, his voice still rough with sleep but warm and inviting.
"Where are you going?"
Y/N turned around, trying to play it cool. "I was just... getting some water."
Sunwoo grinned sleepily, pushing himself up onto his elbows. "Sure. Water. You're running away already?"
"I'm not running," she lied, her voice tight as she grabbed the glass from the side table and took a long sip. Her hands were shaking, and she couldn't understand why.
The silence between them was thick, and Y/N couldn't decide if it was awkward or just... new. Sunwoo didn't seem to mind, though. He sat up fully, stretching his arms over his head, revealing the toned muscles of his chest.
Y/N's heart skipped a beat, and she quickly looked away, trying to regain some semblance of control.
Y/N bit her lip. "It was just... a thing," she muttered, her gaze flicking to the window. "A one-time thing."
The words left her mouth, but they didn't feel right. The way she'd felt in his arms— there was no way it could've been just a "thing." But she wasn't ready to admit that.
Not to herself, and definitely not to him.
Sunwoo was silent for a moment, and for a brief second, Y/N wondered if she'd said too much.
⊹₊ ˚‧︵‿₊୨୧₊‿︵‧ ˚ ₊⊹
Sunwoo’s lazy grin never faltered as he watched Y/N, sensing her unease but not pushing her to explain herself. He sat up fully now, stretching his arms above his head, his toned chest catching the morning light. Y/N’s gaze instinctively dropped to the defined muscles of his torso, and she quickly averted her eyes, trying to regain her composure.
He seemed to find amusement in her discomfort, but he didn’t tease her too much. Instead, he let the silence hang for a beat, the air between them thick with something neither of them were quite ready to address.
“So,” Sunwoo said, breaking the tension with his usual playful tone, though there was a glint of something more serious beneath the surface, “If it was just a ‘one-time thing,’ it must’ve been a pretty damn memorable one, huh?”
Y/N’s heart skipped at his words, but she quickly masked her emotions with a shrug. “Yeah, it was memorable,” she muttered, not quite meeting his eyes as she stared into her water glass. The words felt wrong coming out of her mouth, but she didn’t let herself think about it too much. She wasn’t going to let herself feel anything more than what she was willing to admit.
“Right,” Sunwoo said, his voice still teasing, though now it had a hint of something deeper. “And what happens now?”
She shook her head quickly, her words coming out almost too fast. “Nothing,” she replied with a tight-lipped smile. “It was just… fun, you know? No need to make it complicated.”
Sunwoo raised an eyebrow, a knowing smirk tugging at his lips. “Complicated? Who said anything about complicated?”
Y/N could feel her pulse quicken at the way he looked at her, but she ignored it, forcing herself to stand up. “I need to get dressed,” she said, her voice more clipped than she intended. She wasn’t going to let this moment become more than it was. She wasn’t going to let him become more than just a one-night thing.
Sunwoo didn’t press her any further, though the disappointment in his eyes was subtle enough to make Y/N’s chest tighten. But she wasn’t going to deal with that. Not now.
As she grabbed her clothes from the floor, she heard him mutter under his breath, “I guess we’ll see, won’t we?”
The words hung in the air as Y/N dressed quickly, trying not to let herself dwell on the emotions that threatened to rise up inside her. She wasn’t going to let herself fall for him. She wouldn’t.
After a few moments of uncomfortable silence, she finished dressing and grabbed her phone from the nightstand. Sunwoo still sat on the bed, his eyes following her, but he didn’t say anything else. He didn’t need to. Y/N knew what he was thinking, but she wasn’t ready to admit it.
“Thanks for… last night,” she said, her voice clipped as she moved toward the door. It was the only thing she could think to say without letting her emotions show.
Sunwoo didn’t respond immediately, but as she reached the door, he spoke, his tone softer now. “Anytime, Y/N. But you know, it doesn’t have to be a one-time thing.”
Y/N didn’t look back as she stepped into the hallway, the words echoing in her head. She wasn’t going to let herself believe it.
⊹₊ ˚‧︵‿₊୨୧₊‿︵‧ ˚ ₊⊹
Y/N was grateful for the crisp autumn air that greeted her as she stepped outside Lia’s apartment complex. Her thoughts swirled like the golden leaves at her feet, but she didn’t stop walking. She needed space, clarity—anything to quiet the noise in her head.
The night before was unforgettable, but she was determined to reframe it as just a night. Nothing more, nothing less. A mistake she wouldn’t let happen again.
“Why does he have to be so…” she muttered to herself, her boots crunching against the pavement. “So smug. So charming. So… Sunwoo.”
The very thought of him made her heart race, which only frustrated her more. This wasn’t part of the plan. She was supposed to have fun, be carefree, and maybe kiss a cute guy or two. Not whatever this was.
She turned the corner onto campus and was immediately met with familiar chatter and bustling energy. Students crowded the sidewalks, clutching their coffee cups and rushing to classes. The normalcy of it all was oddly grounding.
Until she saw him.
Sunwoo, leaning casually against a lamppost just outside the student center. His dark hair was still messy from the morning, but now it looked intentional. He was talking to someone—a girl, smiling and laughing at whatever joke he’d just made.
Y/N’s stomach twisted.
“What the hell is that?” she muttered under her breath. The jealousy hit her before she could rationalize it, and it annoyed her to no end. She had no right to feel this way. It was one night. One damn night.
Still, she found herself ducking behind a nearby tree, peeking around it like some lovesick teenager.
“What are you doing?” a voice whispered behind her.
Y/N jumped, spinning around to find her best friend grinning like the cat that ate the canary.
“Nothing!” she hissed, trying to compose herself.
“Oh, please,” her friend said, crossing their arms. “You’re staring at him like he hung the stars in the sky. Didn’t you say this was supposed to be a one-time thing?”
“It is!” Y/N insisted, though the heat rising in her cheeks betrayed her. “I’m just… making sure he’s not following me or something.”
Her best friend snorted. “Right. Because he’s so obsessed with you that he’s hanging out with other girls just to get your attention.”
“Exactly!” Y/N said, before realizing how ridiculous it sounded. “Wait, no. That’s not what I meant.”
“Uh-huh.”
Before Y/N could argue further, Sunwoo’s voice carried over the noise of the crowd. “Y/N!”
Her heart dropped. She turned to see him walking toward her, a lopsided grin on his face. The other girl was gone, and now it was just him. And her. And the increasingly smug expression on her best friend’s face.
“Hey,” Sunwoo said, his tone casual but his eyes sparkling with mischief. “Fancy seeing you here.”
“Yeah, funny how that works on a campus full of students,” Y/N replied, trying to sound indifferent.
Her best friend coughed something that suspiciously sounded like liar and wandered off, leaving them alone.
Sunwoo tilted his head, studying her. “So, did you sleep okay?”
Y/N rolled her eyes. “Why are you asking?”
“I don’t know. Just being polite.” He shrugged but didn’t stop smiling.
“Well, thanks for your concern. I’m fine.”
“Good,” he said, stepping closer. “Because you seemed a little… tense this morning.”
Y/N crossed her arms, determined not to let him get under her skin. “I’m fine, Sunwoo. Really.”
He leaned in, his voice dropping just enough to make her pulse quicken. “You sure about that?”
“Yes,” she said firmly, though the way her voice wavered betrayed her.
Sunwoo didn’t push further, but the look he gave her was enough to send her thoughts spiraling again. There was something about him—something infuriatingly magnetic—that she couldn’t shake.
“Anyway,” she said, clearing her throat and stepping back, “I’ve got class. See you around.”
Before he could respond, she turned on her heel and walked away, determined not to look back.
But she felt his gaze on her the whole time.
⊹₊ ˚‧︵‿₊୨୧₊‿︵‧ ˚ ₊⊹
The music pulsed through the dimly lit house, the bass reverberating in Y/N’s chest as she nursed her second drink of the night. Lia had dragged her out again, insisting she needed to stop moping and have some actual fun.
“You’re supposed to be in your ho phase, not your hermit phase,” Lia had joked earlier, handing Y/N a cup before disappearing into the crowd.
Y/N leaned against the wall, scanning the party with a mix of boredom and apprehension. That was when she saw him. Sunwoo. Of course, he was here. He seemed to be everywhere lately, infiltrating her thoughts and now her weekends.
He was standing across the room, chatting with a petite girl with long, wavy hair. She laughed at something he said, her hand brushing his arm, and Y/N felt her stomach churn.
“Why do I care?” she muttered to herself, taking a bigger sip of her drink.
But no amount of rationalizing could stop the jealousy that bubbled up, uninvited and undeniable.
Lia appeared out of nowhere, a sly smile on her face. “You’re glaring. It’s kind of terrifying.”
“I’m not glaring,” Y/N snapped, too quickly.
“Oh, totally,” Lia said, leaning against the wall beside her. “You’re just admiring the decor. Very intense admiration.”
Y/N groaned, tipping her head back against the wall. “I’m not jealous.”
“Did I say you were?” Lia teased, grinning.
“Go away,” Y/N muttered, though there was no heat in her voice.
Lia patted her shoulder. “Relax. I’ll be back later to pick up the pieces of your denial. Have fun!”
Y/N rolled her eyes as Lia disappeared again, leaving her alone with her thoughts—and her drink, which was disappearing way too quickly.
Before she knew it, Sunwoo was standing in front of her, that infuriatingly charming smirk plastered on his face.
“Hey,” he said, leaning in slightly to be heard over the music. “You’ve been avoiding me all night.”
Y/N’s heart skipped a beat, but she played it cool, crossing her arms. “I’ve been busy. You know, doing my own thing.”
“Sure,” Sunwoo said, his tone light but his gaze unwavering. “Your own thing involves staring at me from across the room?”
“I wasn’t staring,” she shot back, though her cheeks betrayed her with a faint blush.
Sunwoo chuckled, stepping closer. “Right. Just like you’re not jealous right now.”
Y/N scoffed, trying to ignore the way her pulse quickened. “Why would I be jealous? You can talk to whoever you want.”
“Good to know,” he said, but the teasing lilt in his voice was gone. He tilted his head, studying her with an intensity that made her want to squirm. “What’s wrong? Seriously.”
Y/N looked away, the sudden sincerity in his voice throwing her off. “Nothing’s wrong. I’m fine.”
“You don’t seem fine,” he said, his voice quieter now.
“Why do you care?” she snapped, the alcohol loosening her tongue more than she intended. “Go back to your fan club.”
Sunwoo frowned, his brows knitting together. “Is that what you think? That I’m just messing around?”
She didn’t answer, and that seemed to frustrate him even more.
“Y/N,” he said, his voice soft but firm, “you’re jealous.”
“I’m not!” she insisted, but even to her own ears, the words sounded hollow.
“Then why are you acting like this?”
“Because!” she started, but the words caught in her throat. She had no good answer. At least, not one she was ready to admit.
The tension between them crackled like static, and before she could think of something else to say, Sunwoo leaned in, his lips crashing against hers.
Her cup slipped from her hand, forgotten, as she grabbed his shirt to pull him closer. The kiss was heated, desperate, and all the feelings she’d been trying to bury came rushing to the surface.
When they finally pulled apart, both breathless, Sunwoo rested his forehead against hers.
“You don’t have to say it,” he murmured, his hands still on her waist. “But stop lying to yourself.”
Y/N swallowed hard, her mind racing. For once, she had no witty comeback, no sarcastic remark. Just the sound of her heart pounding in her ears and the weight of his words sinking in.
Still caught in the heat of their argument-turned-kiss, Sunwoo grabbed her hand, leading her out of the party. Y/N followed without hesitation, her emotions spiraling somewhere between anger, attraction, and confusion.
Back in Sunwoo’s room, the tension between them spilled over, escalating into another round of feverish kisses. Sunwoo’s usual teasing demeanor was replaced with a raw vulnerability, and Y/N found herself letting her guard down in a way she hadn’t expected.
Their intimacy was both passionate and tender, the playful edge of their earlier encounter now replaced by an undeniable connection. In this moment, Y/N couldn’t deny that there was something deeper between them—something she wasn’t ready to name but could no longer ignore.
Afterward, lying tangled together, Sunwoo broke the silence.
“You’re not just a fling to me, you know,” he murmured, his fingers brushing softly against her arm.
Y/N, still trying to steady her racing thoughts, whispered, “Don’t ruin this by talking.”
But her walls had already begun to crumble.
⊹₊ ˚‧︵‿₊୨୧₊‿︵‧ ˚ ₊⊹
Over the next few weeks, Y/N’s life became a whirlwind of accidental run-ins, teasing banter, and stolen moments with Sunwoo. He seemed to be everywhere—at the coffee shop she frequented, the campus quad, even the library during her late-night study sessions.
“Fate, maybe?” he would say, his signature smirk making her stomach flip.
“Or just bad luck,” she’d retort, though her flushed cheeks always gave her away.
Lia, of course, noticed immediately.
“You’re acting like a teenager with a crush,” Lia teased one evening as they lounged on the couch.
“I do not have a crush,” Y/N insisted, her voice rising an octave.
Lia raised an eyebrow. “You literally turned down a guy at the bar last night because he wasn’t Sunwoo.”
Y/N groaned, throwing a pillow at her friend. “That’s not what happened.”
“Oh, it is. You’re basically doodling his name in your notebook at this point,” Lia said, laughing.
Y/N crossed her arms, glaring. “I don’t like him. He’s… annoying!”
“Sure,” Lia said, rolling her eyes. “And I’m Beyoncé’s backup dancer.”
Meanwhile, Sunwoo wasn’t making things any easier. Every time he saw her, he would grin like he knew something she didn’t.
“You’re cute when you’re in denial,” he said one afternoon after catching her staring at him during a group study session.
“I’m not in denial,” Y/N shot back, her face heating.
“You keep telling yourself that,” he said with a wink, before returning to his notes like he hadn’t just derailed her entire focus.
Despite her protests, Y/N couldn’t shake the growing warmth in her chest whenever he was around. But she refused to acknowledge it. Admitting it would mean accepting that she’d broken her vow of no attachments, and she wasn’t ready for that.
“Denial,” Lia would sing-song whenever Y/N tried to change the subject.
But deep down, Y/N knew there was only so much longer she could keep lying to herself.

It was late in the evening when Y/N found herself wandering the campus courtyard, trying to clear her head. The events of the past few weeks had her spiraling—Sunwoo’s constant presence, the teasing, the way her heart betrayed her every time he smiled.
She spotted him across the courtyard, sitting on a bench with his headphones in, scrolling through his phone. For a moment, she considered walking away, but Sunwoo looked up, as if sensing her presence. He grinned and gestured for her to come over.
“Fancy seeing you here,” he said, his voice light.
Y/N crossed her arms, standing a few feet away. “We go to the same school. It’s not exactly a miracle.”
“True. But you don’t usually come looking for me.”
“I wasn’t looking for you!” she said, too quickly.
Sunwoo tilted his head, his smirk softening into something gentler. “Why do you always push me away, Y/N?”
Her heart sank. His question caught her off guard, and for once, she didn’t have a snappy comeback.
“I don’t…” she started, but her voice faltered.
“You do,” Sunwoo said, standing and closing the distance between them. “It’s okay, you know. You don’t have to keep pretending.”
“Pretending what?” she said, her tone defensive.
“That you don’t like me,” he said softly.
Y/N’s breath caught in her throat. She opened her mouth to deny it, but the words wouldn’t come.
“You’re infuriating,” she finally said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Sunwoo chuckled. “I’ll take that as a yes.”
“I didn’t say yes!”
“But you didn’t say no,” he pointed out, his eyes twinkling with mischief.
Y/N groaned, covering her face with her hands. “Fine. Maybe I like you. Happy now?”
Sunwoo gently pulled her hands away from her face, his touch warm and grounding. “Ecstatic,” he said, his voice sincere. “Took you long enough.”
Y/N rolled her eyes, but she couldn’t fight the smile tugging at her lips. For once, she stopped resisting the fluttering in her chest and let herself feel it fully.
“You’re such a pain,” she muttered.
“And yet, here you are,” Sunwoo said, leaning in closer.
She didn’t pull away this time.
⊹₊ ˚‧︵‿₊୨୧₊‿︵‧ ˚ ₊⊹
Dating Sunwoo wasn’t something Y/N ever expected, yet here they were, strolling down the campus quad hand in hand. Lia had teased her mercilessly that morning, recounting how Y/N had finally admitted to liking him, but Y/N ignored her best friend’s jabs. She was too busy replaying how Sunwoo had kissed her after her confession, how his smile hadn’t left his face all night.
“You’re awfully quiet,” Sunwoo said, glancing at her with a smirk.
“Just thinking,” Y/N said, rolling her eyes when she noticed his expression.
“Thinking about how great I am?”
“Hardly,” she replied, though her heart betrayed her by skipping a beat when he laced their fingers tighter.
Stopping by a campus bench, Sunwoo tugged her down to sit beside him. His usual teasing demeanor softened as he looked at her. “I know this is new for you. For us. But I meant what I said—I’m not going anywhere.”
Y/N’s chest felt lighter than it had in weeks. “I know,” she admitted.
“And just so we’re clear,” Sunwoo added, grinning now, “this means your ho phase is officially over.”
“Who says I’m done?” she teased, nudging him playfully.
“You did. The second you confessed.”
Y/N laughed despite herself, leaning her head on his shoulder. “Guess you’re right. But don’t let it get to your head.”
“No promises,” Sunwoo said, pressing a kiss to her temple.

NO IDEA | 11. lemme guess, fake boyfriend responsibilities?
word count: 2k words (soo... i might've gone over my planned number which was 1k...)
Tumblr media
As soon as Donghyuck got the address of the man that shall not be named’s frat house, he jumped up from his bed. The sudden rustling noise of his panicking startles Renjun and Jaemin, who are scattered around his room. Renjun sat at Donghyuck’s PC desk and was originally trying to peacefully relax and build his Minecraft cottage house while Jaemin was busy munching on chips he stole from their snack stash and playing a game on his phone.
“Jesus! Dude!”
Donghyuck ignores Renjun’s shriek, already rummaging through his closet (which was not the cleanest, but the messiest) for an acceptable “college frat party” outfit.
“What’s up with him?” Jaemin mouths to the shorter male, which Renjun shrugs.
Both, now intrigued, remove their focus on their designated activities, and transfer it onto Donghyuck. “What’re you doing?” Renjun asks.
Donghyuck finally answers when he grabs out a gray hoodie, taking a quick whiff before putting it on. “Jeno texted about Hyunjin and Belle making out in a corner and—”
“Lemme guess, fake boyfriend responsibilities?” Renjun interrupts.
To this, Donghyuck frowns, and Jaemin only snickers at the reaction. “Hyuck, we’re messing with you. Go get your girl, man.”
The former smiles. “Thanks, guys. I’ll be back in a bit.”
Donghyuck’s pacing down the hallway to the door when one of the guys yells out, “And uh, if she pukes in Dongsookie, you’re cleaning it up!”
“Jun, what did I say about naming my car?!”
"Busy, can’t hear you!”
Rolling his eyes at Renjun’s obvious lie which was followed by Jaemin’s cackle, Donghyuck stands in front of the shoe rack. He’s about to put his foot into his shoe but stills himself for a moment.
Is this the right move? What if she doesn’t want me there?
Before he can dwell too much on overthinking, his ringtone's annoying sound makes him jump in his spot. Is it a coincidence that you just happened to call him at this exact moment of his overthinking? He’s not sure, but the thought of it spreads a small smile when he sees your contact pop up.
“Hello?” He covers up his rapid breathing as if he wasn’t rushing to the door a few minutes prior.
“Donghyuckkk…”
The bumping background noise of the party music and your slurring words is all he can hear in his ear when he answers the phone, and Donghyuck doesn’t notice himself fanboying over how cute you are. He’s about to reply when you continue.
“Can yoooou… Pick… me up?”
“Y/N, how much did you drink, exactly?” The smile he’s wearing screams boyish; his teeth sink into his bottom lip as he anticipates your next reply.
“Pleaase…” With his question going unanswered, he decides not to push it.
“Alright, alright, wait for me. I’m on my way. Stay with your friends until I'm there, okay?”
The last thing he hears before you hang up is your little “Mhmm” before he hurriedly puts his shoes on, grabs his car keys, and exits out the door.
“Sheesh, she’s cute.”
Donghyuck finds himself fortunate that no one hears him giggling down the apartment hallway.
Tumblr media
When Donghyuck drives up to the frat house, he observes the sight with a scowl on his face. It's your typical college party.
How do people enjoy this? How does Jeno enjoy this? He thinks.
Little did anyone know, he sometimes thinks he could enjoy it. But a drunk Y/N walking around in the party seemed like a more important issue to think about at the moment.
After playing out the multiple possible scenarios of what could happen when he walks into the party, he gains the courage to turn off the ignition. He exhales a deep breath before finally exiting his car.
As soon as he opens the door, he knows he doesn’t fit in. The blasting music makes him cover his ears, and the sweaty bodies pushing into him have him holding his breath. Most importantly, he doesn’t love how people can tell he isn’t familiar with this type of environment because some partygoers side-eye him as he walks past, and even people he recognizes from class whisper to their friends.
Luckily, he’s welcomed by Jeno once he walks a few steps into the frat.
“Aye, Hyuck! You’re here!” Jeno’s pat on the back somehow made him ease up a bit.
“Hey, Jeno. Where’s—”
Wasting no time, Jeno, who already knows the end of his friend’s question, nods over to the living room, where Donghyuck catches a glimpse of you drunkenly dancing between two guys. He hates that he can’t detect their faces or how one of the guys is slowly dancing a little bit too close to you or the small fume of jealousy building in his chest, but that’s not important.
Still oblivious to Donghyuck shooting laser beams into the guys’ heads for being so close to you, Jeno continues, “Dude, at least try to look like you fit in. You look awkward as fuck.”
But all Jeno gets is a hit to his side, and he winces. “Alright. That was deserved.”
Noticing that Donghyuck’s mind is distracted, Jeno acknowledges the bitterness and chuckles at his friend. So, saying no more, he nudges Donghyuck further into the crowd.
“Stop stalling and make a move!”
Donghyuck looks like a lost puppy as he politely passes through the crowd. Or at least he tried to; most people couldn’t hear him over the god-awful music that was playing. Seriously though, who’s on Aux? But he listened to Jeno’s advice and continued to push through, not because he wanted to—well, he kind of did—but because he knew Jeno wouldn’t let him leave the house without you in his arms.
He regrets making him his wingman. He’s kidding. Sorta.
He makes his way into the living room when he finally sees you. He’s glad to see that one of the guys he saw earlier isn’t dancing near you anymore, but the one he noticed getting closer to you was still in his spot. It was obvious the guy was trying to have you grind on him or something. He was clearly failing.
He’s also glad that he’s unfamiliar with the guy because a real problem could’ve started. But then again, it wasn’t like he had the balls to start a fight over this anyway. Still, it tempted him.
Donghyuck walks over to you and wraps his hand around your wrist, and you finally take notice of him. “Baby, you’re heree…”
His ears perk up at the nickname, and so does the unknown guy who Donghyuck watches scoot farther and farther away. He squints, wondering how someone could be so pathetic to be trying to get something with a drunk girl, but he’s thankful he isn’t an asshole who doesn’t care about her having a (fake) boyfriend.
You leaning on his chest takes him back to the current situation, and one of his hands somehow lands on your back while the other rests on the side of your waist. To anyone else, he would look so physically stiff being this touchy with you, but you? You were too drunk out of your mind to notice a single thing.
“Uh… Um. Y/N, we,” He awkwardly clears his throat before he leans down to reach your ear. “We should go, angel?” His head tilts confusingly at how foreign that pet name sounded on his tongue.
Shit. Why do I sound so unsure right now?
He immediately covers it up: “I mean, yes, angel. That's the right one. But uh, we need to go.”
He’s about to walk you out of the crowd, but you pull him back in. “Nooo, dance with me?”
You give him the prettiest puppy eyes you can muster, and in that small moment, Donghyuck realizes that he's just a man. A stupid whipped man.
But no, you're drunk. He can't get weak in the knees now.
“Y/N, you're drunk. You're literally tipping over right now.”
“Am not.” Geez, the pout on your face just makes him want to kiss—
“Y/N, there you are!”
The new voice makes Donghyuck jump, his hands resting on your back and waist falter slightly. He was ready to run if the culprit was revealed to be Hyunjin, but to his luck, it wasn't.
Instead, it was,
“Yo, Chenle, what the hell! You can't just leave that girl hanging—”
Mark and Chenle. Great. This wasn't the first impression I had in mind.
Both boys, confused as ever, glance between you and Donghyuck. Chenle takes account of the placement of your fake boyfriend's hands on your body and smirks.
Mark, being the saint he is, breaks the ice first. “You're Donghyuck, I assume?”
The said guy is about to answer when he glimpses down at you, and that's when he finds you completely knocked out on his chest.
When he does, he sends an apologetic look to both of them, “Yeah, that's me. But um, I don't wanna seem rude, I know this is our first time meeting, but can you—can you guys help me get her to my car? Jeno called me about earlier, saying I should drive her home.”
Mark and Chenle exchange a look, almost as if they were mentally saying “he's a good one” to one another. Seeing that he quickly got their yeses brought some type of happiness and relief to his chest. He couldn't pinpoint it.
“Yeah, we can help.”
Tumblr media
The moment Donghyuck succeeded in getting you inside your apartment was like a sigh of relief. He thanks Seulgi for being such an angel and lending him her spare key because he was well aware Yuqi was not going to.
Was it difficult walking you out of Hyunjin's party? Yes. But watching you cutely stumble around the elevator on the way up and mumble gibberish made it all worth it.
He slips Seulgi's spare key onto the key hanger, his eyes not leaving your body as you walk around the living room unsteady. He smiles to himself when he watches you plop on the couch.
He's convinced you were knocked out again because of the decrease in mumbly sentences. So he's taken aback when he walks over to the couch to double-check to meet you with your eyes closed, but you cling onto his arm before he can leave.
“Mm… Don't leave yet... I wan’ you heree…” You whine.
“Y/N, you’re drunk. Come on, let's get you to bed.”
“Ooh, the bed? Are we hitting third base already?” You tease, your eyebrows wiggling.
Even intoxicated and half asleep, she's still the same. An adorable pain in the ass.
“Quit it, Y/N.” Despite his unimpressed tone, Donghyuck's cheeks still turn pink at your unexpected words, but he maintains his composure because he knows it's the intoxication talking.
When he reaches under you to bridal carry you, he ignores the whiny protests that leave your mouth and is successful in holding you to your bedroom. He mentally reminds himself to thank you later on for Facetiming him so much when you needed extra help on certain math problems or just simply to enjoy each other’s company. If it hadn't been for the multiple late-night calls, he wouldn't have been able to differentiate your room from Seulgi's and Yuqi's.
After settling you into bed, Donghyuck thought that was the end of it. But it turns out you had other plans because now your arms circle his neck, trapping him close to you. He has no time to react when your lips meet the side of his neck.
“Hey, what—what’re you doing?” His words stuttered and nervous. He swears he didn’t mean them to.
He can't tell if you're drunk anymore. He hopes you are.
You wait for him to pull away, and when he doesn't, you smile against his neck, leaving drunk, uncoordinated kisses on it. “Just thought… I could make you look prettier.
Did she just call me pretty? Wait—geez, fucking focus, Donghyuck. She's drunk for God's sake. I think… Still, no!
Even though this moment is something he's dreamt about ever since freshman year, this can't happen now. You're drunk and vulnerable, and he'd rather have you in a state where you're only thinking of him, not your lousy excuse of an ex-boyfriend and his new floozy.
He finally backs away from you. “Y/N, you're not thinking straight, alright? I–I gotta go.”
He doesn’t even wait for your reaction, immediately bolting out of your bedroom. He wastes no time in hurrying out of your apartment and letting whatever interaction between you two stay there. Plus, you'll forget all about this in the morning. For you, this never happened.
But for Donghyuck? Well, let's just say he didn't have the most comfortable ride home.

I knew her once.
Pairing: Bucky Barnes x Reader
Word count: 2k-3k ish
Disclaimer! Apologies for any grammatical errors or repetitive verbiage.
Background (NOT CANON): Bucky is brought back to the Avengers compound after the events of CATWS
Plot summary: Bucky is slowing coming too again, remembering himself, remembering Steve. He feels a strange, magnetic connection to a woman who recently joined the Avengers, Y/n, a super soldier, like Steve and himself. Unbeknownst to him, Steve and the woman know exactly why Bucky feels connected to her.
Based on this anon:
Written in both readers and Bucky’s pov.

Y/n’s POV
March 1st, 1945
Two months. Two months since Bucky was killed in action. Two months a widow. Two months since I asked Erksine to make me like Steve, to make me useful. What good am I if I let Bucky’s death be for nothing? That's how I ended up on this bomber. Steve is on the radio with a woman, but I only caught a snippet, of Steve saying, “There isn’t going to be a landing.”, and “I’ve gotta put her in the water.”. This is it. This is the end of Schmidt’s plan. If only Bucky could know. Floating in my mind, are Bucky’s last words to me, “I will see you soon, I love you.”. Now I know he was right, I will see him soon. I see the water now. See you soon my love.
———————————————————————
Fall 2014
It has been three years since Steve and Y/n were found in the ice. In the time since then, they have found adjustment to modern times. Both have been recruited to the Avengers, and are living in the compound. Bucky, who Steve found as the Winter soldier, has been brought to the compound is well. When the news was broken to Y/n, she refused to believe it. It took a while, a lot of convincing that it was him, for her to finally accept that it was Bucky. He has been in quarantine while doctors work with him to remember who he is, and it’s established that he is safe to be around. They have decided on a day for him to be integrated with the group, for him to start adjusting; tomorrow.
———————————————————————
Y/n’s pov
After a meeting about Bucky, how to address him, talk to him, and make him feel comfortable, I went to find Steve.
“Steve? Can I talk to you?” He turned around to face me, “Of course. Are you alright?”, he responded. “I’m… okay. I was going to mention something to you, about Bucky.” Steve nodded for me to continue. “I think we should keep me and Bucky’s past from him until he adjusts, and maybe never at all. I think it should be up to him to remember, and if he doesn’t, then we can start over. I know he has seen you, and remembers you, but he doesn’t know me. And truthfully, I don’t know him anymore either. I don’t think it’s a good idea to bring it up.” Steve pauses for a moment, taking in what I said before asking, “Are you sure you can handle that? Pretending you don’t know him?”. It’s not about me, it’s about Bucky. I reminded myself. “Yes. I can.” I say it more to myself than to Steve. “I won’t mention it.”, he seems upset to say it. “Thank you, Steve.”
The next day…
I saw Bucky in passing, on the way to his newly established quarters. I couldn’t bring my eye to really look at him. Steve wants to bring him to us individually, to introduce us to him. I don’t know if I can handle it. Steve told me a few hours ago, so I can only assume my turn is coming. Maybe if I hide out in my room, Steve won’t bring him here, I thought moments before two gentle knocks on my door. “Y/n? May we come in?” Damn it Steve. I said yes anyway. “Stay out here for a minute, okay?”, I hear Steve say quietly. Steve came in the room, pushing the door behind him, “I want you to know what to expect. He hasn’t really spoken to anyone but me today. He mostly nods, but I think he is making progress. Can I go get him now?” I could only nod. Steve turned to the door and stepped outside for a second. I stood up, smoothing my hair, which got a little messy from me pulling on it in my prior stressed state. Soon, they both entered. Steve began to introduce me, “Bucky, this is Y/n. She is enhanced, like we are. But what’s really enhanced is her baking skills”, he chuckled. Bucky’s face remained the same, lips not even twitching. Steve continued talking, but I stopped paying attention to examine the man standing in front of me. He looked like himself, but there was so much about his appearance that was odd to me. The bags under his eyes, is outgrown hair, he was taller than I remember, broader. His demeanor was the most off-putting, unmoving, almost frightened appearance, shy even. That’s not my Bucky, I remember thinking. After Steve had finished his rant, I let out a small, “It’s nice to meet you.”, to which Bucky barely nodded. Then they left the room. All I could do was break down. They had broken him. That wasn’t my husband, my charismatic, confident, happy husband.
———————————————————————
Bucky’s pov
Steve led me away from the woman, Y/n’s, door. There was something about her that was comforting to me, familiar. Steve said it was late, and took me to my room. I lied down in my bed, too soft, I couldn’t sleep. I thought about the woman, how she reminded me of someone.
———————————————————————
A few weeks later
Bucky has started opening up to Steve more, remembering. Natasha has even gotten him to speak to her a little, and she would even call them friends. Y/n has kept her distance. Afraid to be alone with him, to be upset. Bucky still thinks about her often, still perplexed by her.
———————————————————————
Bucky’s pov
It’s evening, and I headed to the kitchen to get a glass of water. Entering the hallway, I hear humming, a pleasant sound, but a tune I didn’t recognize. I turned the corner, and Y/n was there, leaning over the stove.
———————————————————————
Y/n’s pov
I was in the kitchen, making myself a grilled cheese, bland, I know, but it reminds me of simpler times. I heard footsteps, so I looked over my shoulder. It was Bucky. This is the first time I will have been in a room alone with him since he came to live here, since ‘45 even. I couldn’t bring myself to just ignore him. I turned to find him by the sink, filling a glass of water. He was dressed simply, comfortably, in an era of clothes I had never seen him in. It was surreal, and strange. “Hi.”, I said softly. Bucky turned to face me, and I could tell he tried to smile at me, but all he managed was a twitch on the left side of his mouth. “I was making myself some dinner.”, I spoke, and Bucky nodded once in response. “Are you hungry?”, I asked him. Why am I still talking? I thought. Bucky shrugged. Again, I couldn’t stop myself from talking, “Can I make you a sandwich?”. I figured if I asked if he wanted one, he would say no. To my surprise, he shook his head yes. I smiled, “I’ll get to it.” It only took a minute to make, and he just stood quietly by the sink. After I had finished making them, I plated his, and handed it to him. He let out a “thank you” so small I thought I just imagined it. This time, it was my turn to only nod in response. He took his sandwich down the hall, back to his room. I’m making progress.
———————————————————————
Bucky’s pov
I sat on my bed, looking at the empty plate. I still can’t get her out of my head. Who is she? She was kind to me. Something about her is drawing me in. I want to be around her. She makes me feel human.
———————————————————————
Y/n’s pov
It’s been a week since I was in the kitchen with him. Every day since, Bucky has been around. He’s still silent. Sometimes I go to common area, and he just appears. I’m working on interacting with him, treating him normally. I try to only ask him yes or no questions, I don’t want to push him. Today is my day to go downstairs and train with Steve. Maybe I can talk to him about all this, ask about Bucky’s progress.
“Hey Steve.”, I said as I bounded into the gym. I look forward to my days in the gym with Steve. “Good morning.”, he seemed happy to see me too. We started with sparring, which went fine, as usual. Then we moved to the bags, Steve was using one while I took sips from my water. I felt all my questions about Bucky sitting on my tongue. “How is Bucky doing?”, I blurted out. Steve smiled faintly before responding, “He’s doing well. I can see a little bit of his old self slipping through. He seems to have taken well to you.”. What does he mean? I only looked at Steve with a bewildered expression. “He’s been looking for you recently, trying to be around you.”. I asked him if Bucky had told him that. “No,” he replied, “but I know him. Even after everything, he’s still Bucky.”. Tears filled my waterline. He may be Bucky, but he isn’t my husband anymore. Steve noticed I was upset, and came to sit next to on the bench. “He is starting to remember small things from our childhoods. Little details. Not the whole picture, but I think he is getting there. He will remember you. I know he will. And it doesn’t hurt that you look the same as you did 70 years ago.”, Steve finished with a chuckle, trying to lighten the mood. I wiped the few tears that had run down my face. I need Steve to be right.
I headed up to my room to clean up, maybe grab a book afterwards. On the way, I passed Bucky. And he smiled at me. That beautiful smile I missed so much. I almost stopped in my tracks. But I powered on and I continued to my room.
After showering, I realized how hungry I was, so I headed to the kitchen to scour the pantry. I had been looking for a few minutes. I heard footsteps, familiar ones. Bucky and I were in the kitchen again. “Hey Bucky.”, I said without turning around. He still didn’t say anything. I looked over my shoulder. “Am I in your way?” I asked. He shook his head no. He just kind of stood there by the counter next to the sink. Why is he in here then?
———————————————————————
Bucky’s pov
I don’t know why I’m in here. I heard her humming on the way from her room to the kitchen, and I followed her. I watched her grab a snack. She spoke to me again, “I think I’m going to go to the media room and watch a movie… you are welcome to come and join me.” I smiled at her and nodded. She walked away, to go to were she said. I waited a few minutes, and then I went to find her.
———————————————————————
Y/n’s pov
I was scrolling through movies after I made myself comfortable on the couch. Within a few minutes of me being in the media room, Bucky walked in. I really hadn’t expected him to, but he walked over and sat on a chair near the couch I was on. “Is this movie okay with you?” I asked after I settled on one. He showed a small smile and a nod. He stayed the whole movie.
———————————————————————
The silent charade of Y/n going about her business and Bucky always being near went on for a few weeks. The others in the compound were starting to notice, but no one mentioned it. Today the team had a weekly meeting, which led to a disagreement between Y/n and Tony. A small dispute, really not a big deal, but both ended up frustrated and quite loud. At some point, they had ended up standing across from each other, pointing and arguing. The whole thing was stupid, and Steve and Nat had just decided to let them duke it out.
———————————————————————
Y/n’s pov
“That whole thing is a terrible idea!” I yelled. Tony had unsurprisingly pissed me off earlier. I will however admit, that I got a little intense today. Tony yelled back at me, “You aren’t in charge! I am!”. This whole interaction had been going on for probably 20 minutes, but with this yell, Tony stepped closer to me to emphasize his point, not aggressively, but Bucky must have seen it differently. After Tony had walked closer to me and waved his hands in frustration, Bucky strode over and stood in between us with his back to me. He said nothing, but naturally, the fight fizzled out. Why did he do that? I was fine. Me and Tony were just taking, really. “You okay Bucky?”, I heard Steve say from across the room. Bucky nodded, and then walked out of the room. After I watched him leave, I said “Um, Steve? Can I talk to you in a bit?”. Steve looked equally confused to me, “Uh, sure.”.
Steve and I walked to my room. “Do you have any idea what that was?” Steve only shrugged. He opened his mouth and promptly closed it. “Can you go check on him maybe?” I was worried about him. “Yeah, I’ll go talk to him.” Steve replied.
———————————————————————
Bucky’s pov
“Buck? You okay?” I heard Steve say from outside my door. Before I responded, Steve opened the door and came in, and sat next to me. “I’m fine.” I replied. “What was that about?”he asked. I thought about it for a minute. “I don’t know. I thought he got to close.” Steve looked at me, “Too close to Y/n?” I nodded. “You wanted to protect her?” Steve started. I shrugged. “She seems so familiar.” I said. “Well of course she does Buck, we all live together.” Steve said, but he sounded almost uncomfortable. “Thats not what I meant. I feel like I’ve met her before this.” He said nothing back. I tried again, “Steve?”. “I don’t know what to tell you Buck.” he finally responded, but he wouldn’t meet my eye line as he said it. “Can you tell me more about her?” I questioned. “Why don’t you ask her?” Steve seemed dismissive. “Maybe I will.”
———————————————————————
A few days had passed, and though he still was always around, he didn’t inquire further about Y/n.
———————————————————————
Y/n’s pov
Bucky sat a few seats down in the media room. It was around dinner time. I was about to get up to make myself something to eat, when I decided to extend an invitation. “Hey, Bucky?” He looked up at me when I said it. “Wanna come eat dinner with me? I feel like cooking for two tonight.” I tried to make it seem like it wasn’t a big deal, even though to me, it was. Bucky looked at me for a moment, “Okay.” he said. This is only the second time he’s ever uttered a word to me. “Is pasta okay?” I asked him, that was what I had been planning to make anyway. “That sounds good.” he sounded shy. I buffered for a moment, because I couldn’t believe he said a full sentence. I just turned and headed toward the kitchen.
I was close to done with the pasta, and I heard a soft clank behind me. I turned to see Bucky setting down two plates next to each other. I offered to make him dinner, and he set the table. Maybe he is still my Bucky. My mind flashed back to all those years ago, when he set the table while I made dinner.
I plated the meal, and sat down next to him. “Thank you for setting the table.” I told him. “Thank you for dinner.” He replied, quietly. We began eating quietly. After a few minutes. I heard him clear his throat lightly. I looked over at him just before he asked, “Can I ask you a question?”. Shocked, I only nodded for him to go ahead. “How old are you?” What a strange question. “That’s a tricky question actually.”, I replied. He looked at me, and said nothing, like he was waiting for me to continue. So I did, “I was born in 1920. I went down in the bomber with Steve in ‘45. They found me in 2011. So I guess that makes me around 28.” Bucky’s fork hit his plate. He looked deep in thought. “What’s your last name?” Another weird question. I decided to be honest, try to introduce him to the whole truth. “My maiden name? Or my married name?”, I asked back. He looked at me before quickly replying, “Both.”. Here we go. “My maiden name is Y/l/n,” I paused, “and my married name was Barnes.” With that, I felt my face flush and tears burn my eyes. I got up to clear my plate, and walked quietly to my room.

Bucky’s pov
I was right. I did know her once. It all came to me then. The pieces I was seeing of her, why she seemed familiar. She was my wife.
I needed to talk to Steve.
I was at his door. “Steve. I need to talk to you.”. Steve opened the door. He seemed nervous. “You knew.” I accused him, “why didn’t you tell me?”. Steve didn’t answer the question, he moved on to ask one of his own, “Did you remember?”. I felt my emotions bubbling. Tears started falling from eyes. I nodded at Steve, and he stepped over to allow me into the room. “I remember her. I remember our first date. I remember proposing. I remember the little wedding. But why didn’t you tell me?”, my voice cracked a l little towards the end. Steve looked near tears as well, “She wanted you to remember on your own. She wanted to give you a chance to start over.”

Why did I tell him that? That is the opposite of what I wanted to happen, how I wanted him to find out. I bawled on my bed for a while after dinner. I lost my husband years ago, only to find out he is alive, but he’s changed. He isn’t mine. Played like a mantra in my head, trying to remind myself and subsequently making me more upset. I was standing over my sink, splashing my face with cold water in attempts to calm down when I head a knock on my door. I went to open it without thinking about how much of a wreck I looked. It was Bucky. I couldn’t open my mouth to speak. He did in my stead, “I remember you.”. The tears started again. Looking at his tear stained cheeks, I resumed crying, hard. I stepped aside to sit on the edge of my bed, leaving the door open. I felt the bed dip beside me before I heard his voice again, “I remember missing you.”. I glanced over at him to see him crying again too. “I remember loving you.”. After he said that, a broken sob fell from my lips. I had nothing to say. I reached over, and gently took his right hand. We sat for a while, sniffling, tears still falling. Bucky was the first to speak, “I don’t want to start over.”. I smiled, wide, an ugly thing, all teeth and red cheeks and watery eyes. I finally had words. “I want to be your wife. And whatever that means for us now.” I leaned over and placed soft kiss on his cheek. He turned to me after that, taking his hand out of mine. His flesh hand cradled my jaw, a featherlight touch, his thumb lightly caressing my skin. He leaned in, and pressed his lips to mine, soft, a peck. He leaned back only an inch to say, “I want to be your husband.”.
He is my Bucky.

No Part 2
Girls night
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The evening sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm golden hue over the quiet streets of Monaco. Daniel had opted for a chill night at home, the soothing hum of the city fading in the background while his girlfriends, Heidi and YN, decided to paint the town red. The two girls had been excitedly preparing for a night out, laughter and playful banter echoing from the bathroom as they got ready.
“You know what I could really go for?” YN asked, her eyes sparkling with mischief as she rummaged through Heidi's makeup drawer. “A shot of tequila!”
“Tequila? It’s like you want to wake up with a hangover,” Heidi laughed, sliding on a pair of heels. “But fine, let’s go crazy tonight! Just don’t tell Daniel!”
Daniel, lounging on the couch, chuckled to himself as he overheard their conversation. He had come to expect these kinds of antics from the girls. Their infectious energy always kept him on his toes. “Have fun, ladies! Just don’t do anything I wouldn’t do!” he called out, settling into his comfy spot.
Hours passed as Daniel lost himself in a Netflix binge, but as the clock ticked closer to midnight, he began to worry. He picked up his phone to check the time again. “Where are they?” he muttered, glancing at the door as if it would magically open to reveal the two.
He decided to text Heidi. “Hey, hope you’re having fun! Just checking in. Everything good?”
A few minutes passed, and Daniel’s heart raced with anxiety. The last thing he wanted was for anything to happen to them. Just as he was about to text again, he heard the familiar sound of keys jangling, followed by raucous laughter. The door swung open, and there stood YN and Heidi, stumbling in, their cheeks flushed and eyes sparkling with mischief.
“Surprise!” YN yelled, nearly losing her balance as she twirled around. “We’re back!”
Heidi giggled, leaning against the wall for support. “And we brought back… fun!”
Daniel shook his head with a relieved smile, though he couldn’t hide his concern. “You both look like you had a little too much fun. How many shots did you take?”
“Shots?” YN squealed, her voice an octave higher. “I lost count after six! But I could go for more! Danny, you should join us!”
“Um, I think I’ll pass. I’m more of a ‘chill at home’ guy,” he replied, trying to steer the conversation. But the girls were already lost in their own world.
Heidi suddenly flung her arms around YN from behind, resting her chin on her shoulder. “I just want to cuddle you forever,” she murmured, her words slightly slurred but filled with affection.
“Cuddle party!” YN shouted, breaking free from Heidi’s embrace. She darted towards the balcony, eyes wide with excitement. “Let’s go look at the stars! Come on, Danny!”
“YN, wait!” Daniel called out, springing to his feet. “You can’t just run outside like that!”
“Too late!” she laughed, swinging the balcony door open and stepping outside, arms raised as if embracing the night. “I’m flying! Look at me, I’m a bird!”
Daniel rushed after her, his protective instincts kicking in. “YN, come back! You’re going to fall!”
Heidi, now seated on the couch, was watching with wide eyes, tears forming. “She’s not in my arms anymore! Daniel, go get her!”
“I’m trying!” Daniel shouted back, panic rising in his chest as he stepped onto the balcony, catching YN just as she leaned dangerously over the railing. “Hey, hey! Let’s not go overboard, alright? Come on, let’s get you back inside.”
“But the stars are so pretty!” YN whined, her enthusiasm unwavering. “You just don’t understand!”
“Okay, I don’t, but I do understand that it’s past midnight, and you’re not exactly sober right now,” he said, gently but firmly guiding her back inside.
As they stepped into the living room, Heidi had already started crying. “You were gone! I thought I lost you!” she sobbed, her arms opening wide. YN, feeling the comfort of Heidi's warmth, leaped into her embrace.
“I’m right here, silly! Don’t cry!” YN giggled, snuggling into Heidi’s chest. “You’re the best cuddler ever!”
Daniel watched the scene unfold, a mix of exhaustion and amusement washing over him. “Alright, let’s get you two to bed,” he said, moving closer to them. “I think it’s time for a sleepover.”
“Sleepover!” YN cheered, the energy back in her voice. “But I wanna sleep with Heidi!”
“Okay, okay,” Daniel said, managing to get both girls into the bedroom. YN immediately crawled onto the bed, pulling Heidi down with her. “Cuddle me, Heidi! I’m cold!”
Daniel sighed, pulling the blanket up over them. “You’re going to have to settle down now, okay? It’s time for sleep,” he said, turning to leave the room.
Heidi looked up at him with a sleepy smile, her hair tousled. “Daniel, you can’t just leave me like this. I need you too!” she said, her voice softening.
“Right, but I’m kind of… tired. Plus, you two need your space,” he replied, glancing at YN, who was already starting to doze off, nestled against Heidi.
“Nope,” Heidi declared, her tone suddenly firm as she pointed toward the living room. “You need to sleep on the couch. I want to cuddle YN on my own.”
Daniel raised an eyebrow, a smile creeping onto his face. “You’re kidding, right?”
“Nope! My cuddles, my rules!” she said, snuggling into YN. “Now go!”
“Alright, alright, you win this round,” Daniel laughed, giving in. “But if you need anything, you know where to find me.”
As he settled down on the couch, he couldn’t help but chuckle to himself. He could hear the muffled giggles of the girls through the wall. This was certainly not how he imagined his night would go, but in the end, he wouldn’t have it any other way.
Just as he closed his eyes, he heard a loud crash from the bedroom. “Heidi! YN! What was that?” He shot up, ready to rush back in.
“Just a pillow fight!” YN shouted, her voice echoing through the house.
“Seriously?” Daniel called out, shaking his head in disbelief.
“Pillow fight! Come join us!” Heidi urged, laughter bubbling in her tone.
“Forget it! You two are on your own,” he yelled, flopping back onto the couch with a grin. “This is going to be one long night.”
And as he lay there, the sounds of laughter and playful bickering filled the air, he knew he wouldn’t trade this chaotic love for anything. After all, this was what life was all about: racing hearts, silly nights, and the warmth of those you loved most.
