Thanks for stopping by~ ♡
If you would like to learn more about me, my content, or my request guidelines, please open this post.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I post fake texts, reactions, drabbles, and full fics (anywhere between 1500 and 6000 words). My texts are most commonly split between Hyung Line and Maknae Line, and they can vary quite a bit on how raunchy they are.
Tumblr media
I'm very kink friendly and have been an active member of the bdsm community for 5+ years so I do not shy away from the vast majority of kinks, but they will always be written as realistically as possible. This means if you request heavier kinks or kinks that are on the deeper end of safety risks, I will do my best to write negotiation and consent checks into the story. I know we all love heavy fantasy content, but I personally will not write themes that imply any character is doing something against their own free will. I WILL, however, consider writing heavier themes if it is an idea that really sparks my interest.
I do not write anything involving character death or heavy angst, but I will write things along the lines of Yandere themes and criminal acts. Anything that does not involve the reader or main character being unwilling or having violent acts committed against them is fair game.
I do not write for ships, but I will write certain points of mxm interaction if it benefits the story (such as threesomes etc.)
I am VERY enthusiastic about fantasy creatures and will HAPPILY write your kinky werewolf fanfic if you ask nicely! I also won't shy away from A/B/O dynamics if you're so inclined... or hybrids. I love me some hybrids.
If you're unsure about whether I'd be willing to write your request, please take a look at my list below of wills and wonts. If you don't see what you want on there, shoot me a message or an ask.
Tumblr media
Ult group: Stray Kids
Bias: ♡♡Changbin♡♡
Wrecker: Seungmin
Personality: I have been described as Spicy, Witty and Dog Coded. I love deeply and aggressively and usually communicate that through being cheeky, flirty and a little bit of a bully to the people I'm giving affection too.
Personal Account: @bunniebinnie for kpop, @bunniedreams for the uhhhh horny kinky stuff
Favourite Song now: Last Breath - Mark Tuan
Favourite Colour: Pastel Yellow (true yellow, not the orange or green tinted yellows)
Favourite Book: Ultraviolet
Hobbies: writing, photography, collecting plush toys, gaming, drawing
Age: 25 years old
For the astrology hotties: Libra sun, Aquarius moon, Pisces rising
Pet peeve: The sound of chewing gum
How long have I been writing: I have been writing fanfic for about 7 years. I had 2 old blogs, one dedicated to nct and one for stray kids, but I chose to start over after an extended hiatus (moving, work, life).
You may recognise some of the content here, and if you do, please feel free to ask. I will never copy another persons work, but I may repost some of my old work that I enjoyed with some edits.
Tumblr media
Do you write cnc?
A: Depends on the context, but generally, I will say yes as long as there is no violence (oitside of impact play) and I can write it with negotiation and context.
Is your favourite content to write?
A: I really like doing drabbles and anything Hybrid related. I love hybrids. Have I mentioned that I love hybrids¿
Do you only write Sub Reader?
A: Nope! I'm a switch through and through so I will write whatever role the people are interested in!
Do our request have to have kink in them?
A: Not at all! I love wholesome vanilla content just as much as the messed up spicy stuff.
How do we send requests?
A: Just jump into my ask box and ramble your idea to me. You can be as detailed or vague as you want, but please include if you want it to be written without the use of pronouns!
Why do you add banners to everything?
A: I just think they're fun! I like my cute lil doodles.
Do you have any other blogs?
A: ooft, quite a few! @thefantasydenarchives for all my asks and polls, etc so I can keep this blog somewhat organised, @bunniebinnie is for my kpop fic recs and anything else kpop related, @markmein for my NCT content (needs work) and @bunniedreams for my personal stuff
Tumblr media
Will write:
Edge play kinks, fictional creatures (hybrids, werewolves, ghosts), ot8 scenarios, threesomes and anything above a threesome, dubious consent, unhinged member x reader, violence NOT committed against reader, ftm reader, marijuana use.
Will not write:
Pregnant reader, lactation kink, barely legal, high school, young reader x much older member and vice versa, dad stray kids, parent reader, hard drug use, violence against reader, character death, heavy angst, cheating.

Unrelated to anything just late night thoughts. I’ve been into bts for a while now, and it has always been about them for me. Obviously while watching their content I’ve gotten to know more about their culture and stuff, but I’ve never really delved further into the Korean culture nor the k-pop world, something that now I wish I had since I think it makes you look at things differently and more clearly. I mean, the k-pop world is as fucked up as any other music industry in any other country, even if it doesn’t seem like it at first glance, which makes me appreciate bts even more for whom they’ve come to be in an industry that’s very… constructed and harsh (to put it nicely). And not only that, but also for the fact that it’s thanks to them and other artists like them that the new generation of groups Can more easily navigate that world and be more open/honest, with themselves and with their fans (to some extent). These thoughts honestly came to me as a chain of events. I had just finished the Netflix show “Beef” (watch it if you haven’t is really good), and one of the main characters is a Korean male, and in one of the episodes there’s a suicide reference, and after finishing the series I don’t know why I wanted to check what was the suicide rate in Korea and oh boy… I wasn’t expecting it to be so bad but honestly I’m not that surprised either. But again, these are the things you don’t see when you just focus on the good stuff I guess. When looking at the suicide data I came across some idol suicides and I… it just really got to me. I mean, I was just watching a Jimin v-log from 2018 when he was reflecting about losing himself, the members having all their own issues and some feelings of the band loosing their focus — a v-log uploaded just a couple of months after Shinee member Jonghyun had committed suicide, an event that I know/feel that had some sort of effect on the band too. The stuff that happens around us, in our environment and in our social groups, even if these aren’t things directly linked to us, they can affect us, and the boys aren’t the exemption of that. I know the boys have said in the past that they try to show us their good parts, because they want to make us happy, and even though I appreciate that, I really wish and hope they aren’t suffering too much in silence. There is too much hate in this world, and there is too much hate online. Too much unnecessary shit honestly. All that mess and hate about fandoms is just ridiculous and harmful, specially if you don’t know what a person is going through behind their public image. And coming here to tumblr and seeing the back and forth between accounts is also so pointless. I know this post is all over the place but I guess that’s exactly how I was feeling rn and I just wanted to let it out. We need more love and understanding in this world. Wish you and your fam are doing fine Rosie 🫰🏼.
Although I usually answer the Asks I receive almost immediately, those that I want to post, of course, sometimes there are some that, although I know I want to post or answer, I don't do it immediately. Sometimes because I want to take some time to be able to answer correctly, other times I don't do it because, although I know what I want to say, I don't know how to organise it or translate it into English. I struggle a lot of times. This was one of those Asks.
When I read it for the first time I was answering or giving my opinion about each line written, but I was doing it in Spanish and I couldn't translate it correctly into English so I said, I'll post it later. The truth is that I really forgot what the ask said, but I knew I wanted to post it and I decided to do it now; when I reread it I stopped for a few seconds because the Ask is almost perfect for a day like today, after the news about Moonbin.
Korean society is particular, we could say, but it is too demanding, ruthless almost. The kpop industry is even more so. And I think as certain groups break barriers outside of Korea, the pressure on others increases as if the pressure isn't high enough already. One of the things I appreciate about bts and their agency is that they seem to have always had a certain freedom to express themselves in their music. Many of their songs are critical of the society they live in, about self-love, sadness and so on. Yoongi, for example, has always been a bit more open about those kinds of issues, but not everyone has that luxury.
The kpop community in general is toxic. They see these artists as machines, as puppets almost, who have to act the way they want to perform. And it's not easy. In a way, the human part of the Idol is lost or in some cases seems to be lost.
With the boom in the consumption of everything that has to do with Korea, the other side of that country has also come to light. Of that society. Of that industry. It's almost too easy to find Koreans on social media saying everything is not like kdramas and that living in Korea is hard. The standards of everything are very high. Many people who have decided to move there because they bought into the "illusion" have found it to be the worst.
And as far as I know, it's not just the entertainment industry. Normal life is difficult. The academic pressure on all young people in Korea is high. Depressing. Extremely demanding. The same goes for work and social pressure. That's why suicide rates are so high. And the fact that it's such a conservative society doesn't allow anything to be done to change a bit. Mental health is taboo in Korea, much more so than in other countries, I think. Or at least that's what I've read. And it's horrible.
Social media or the internet really is perhaps one of the worst double-edged weapons that humans have created. The anonymity that many sites or apps allow has given certain "internet warriors" the power to spread hate. With virtually no consequences. And it is sad and frightening. The smarter or more advanced our electronic devices become, the more dehumanised we become. Empathy and respect are rare traits these days.
I think the least we could do as human beings is to respect more but nowadays doing the simplest things has become the most difficult things ever.

So, last night I had a really fucking weird dream about Skz. Like, it was all very bizarre and unrealistic, but it also got me going in some way? I'll elaborate.
I don't know if anyone else shares this opinion, but I personally hate how opressed and controlled k-pop idols are. Most western celebrities are allowed to have normal lives, like hanging out with friends, getting drunk and having affairs (not even serious ones), and literally no one bats an eye. Because it's normal, because we don't fans here understand the big wall that separates idol from fan. K-pop culture encourages this phenomenom of parasocial relationships with idols to the fans and imposes the belief that these people are simply perfect puppets to be controlled by the fans. It's fucking surreal. They can't be too cozy with fans, but they also get angry if idols don't interact with them. Any indication of a romance with someone is subjected to obsessive hate and scrutinity, but they constantly ship them with others from the industry, preferably their members. K-pop idols aren't allowed to show genuine feelings, to be imperfect, they must always be conservatives and "pure" for their fans. Never straying far from the expectations, never breaking the rules. Always following the fans' wishes and keep them content.
Now we got this off the way (there's a shit ton more I could say about this topic but this post isn't about this)..
In my dream, now the details are blurry, but it was something like this. Some sort of "virus" or "fever" spread around kpop groups and they started to act up. To break the mold. They become like these twisted, "dark" versions of themselves who decide to say "fuck everything" and get into scandals. It becomes news in the country and the companies try to stop it. The fans raised hell upon it, furious that their perfect "idols" weren't keeping the idealized image they have about them "clean". But turns out the idols don't give a fuck anymore. They get into scandals, have affairs openly with people without hiding it, they write explicit lyrics of songs instead of censoring them. And because my Stray Kids are my obsession, of course my brain made them main characters of this weird ass fuck dream.
They flirt with fans, but not the usual harmless, shy flirting they usually do. Nope. Felix clims down stage to sing directly into a random fan's ear, smirking in her ear. Chan admits what he was thinking about when he wrote Connected, Drive and Red Lights, all proud and cocky. Hyunjin pulled out a fan from the public, sat her in a chair, and basically gave her a lap dance. Even Minho got bold and out of nowhere, grabbed a fanboy to kiss him. A peck, but still scandalous enough.
The whole point of the dream was, i guess, what could it be if k-pop idols broke off the invisible chains that hold them back and just did whatever they fuck they wanted to? And funny thing was that, since they're the main sources of money of the company, the boss couldn't do shit to stop them. The fans that protested and tried to sabotage were useless, in fact they it spurred them more.
And it got me thinking, because as absurd and unrealistic this shit was, imagine if it was real. Imagine having, I don't know, the Christopher fucking Bang come down at you and sing Red Light in your face with that fuckboyish grin of his, in front of all cameras and fans with zero care. Imagine them interacting with fans like some western artists to, bringing them up to stage and do stuff with them.
What I intend to go with this is 1: I need to sleep more, and 2: This is gonna be inspiration for some more scenarios in the future.
Taggging my bitches @channieandhisgoonsquad @2chopsticks2eyes @moonlightndaydreams @linlinaert @queenmea604 @hanjisunglover because I need to hear thoughts from sane people to bring me back to reality.

Jimin is my bias wrecker. My bias is Yoongi.
so change your pinned post??
bc you don't bias jimin 💀
Story time! Let me share a bit of my army journey (about biases).
Daechwita was the first ever music video I watched related to BTS. I then went on to watch Agust D MV and listened to the D2 album. While I was also exploring BTS MVs, I was following Yoongi's lyricism and personal journey. I related a lot to him on a personal level and felt seen- his struggles, his comments on society and humans, his initial inability to show emotions, and usually being the quieter one. I gradually saw how his personality and attitude changed in content over the years and finally with DDay album, he shared his healing journey which was nothing but inspiring.
After Yoongi, RM and Jhope have bias wrecked me, in that order, but the wreckage didn't stay. I appreciated them but the obsession didn't stay. But then Jimin was the first vocal line member who had caught my attention from the start. My eyes were always drawn to him in every choreo and performance. My love for performance and dance were the first things that attracted me to Jimin. The love for Jimin grew gradually, as I discovered that he's not only a great performer, but also a very dedicated hard worker, creative genius, mature and artistic person. And the obsession STAYED. I realised his words always had a lot of weight, wisdom and diplomacy. I realised the 'once you jimin, you can't jimout' is literally real. Once he has charmed you, there's no going back.
This made me wonder if my bias had finally changed to Jimin. But apparently in kpop, bias is someone who you can most relate to. So I thought about it, and no, Jimin is very different than me. He's a hard worker ( I'm a procrastinator), he's always so ready to love and open to love people (not me), he loves being around people and lastly he's very very introspective, and thinks big. Even his introspection is self-less and he thinks about the bigger picture. Me and Jimin are very different. So what is Jimin to me then? Not bias, but wrecker. ( If we go by kpop rules)
But if you look at it, Jimin is the idol i obsess over. Jimin's music is the one I stream the most. Jimin makes me want to work hard for him. Everytime there's a jimin related content, i run to watch it. And I never get tired of praising him for his performances. Yesterday, I was trying to plan a concert for Jimin in my head- the song sequence, the concept, the costumes lol.
That's why in my pinned post, i decided to ditch the technical meanings of bias and bias wrecker. I just thought if Jimin is the one I think about most, it's just safe to call him my bias.
Yoongi will always have a sweet spot in my heart because he makes me feel seen. D2 will always be one of my most cherished albums and I will always look out for his work.
But I am still more excited for pjm2 more than anything, lol.
While my love for Yoongi is more calm, for Jimin it's more energetic, makes me want to do stuff and occupies my mind most of the time. That's why my love for Yoongi is what I keep to myself, but my love for Jimin is something i want to shout out and talk about endlessly.
While I can aspire to be like Yoongi, I cannot aspire to be like Jimin, because I will never be Jimin. He's a once in a lifetime artist and I'm here to thank my fate everyday that I was born in the same timeline as him.

A Little About Me
I love writing. It's one of my favorite things to do. I've been writing for fandom communities for several years now, and truthfully, I was feeling a little creatively burned out. I had finished a number of LONG projects, and didn't have it in me to start anything else major
So I decided to give Tumblr a try! So far, it's going great.
My other hobbies include collecting action figures and statues, video games, kdramas, RPGs, and comic books.
This blog is a safespace for people of every gender, sexuality, and race imaginable. If you are any sort of -phobic at all, please leave. You are not wanted here. This is a place of inclusivity, positivity, and love. If you ever need someone to talk to, please reach out.
I do prefer to use they/them pronouns, but please don't worry if you forget. My picture here is a purple robot that turns into a jet, so I understand if you forget.
Please also be understanding of the fact that I value my privacy.

writeblr intro
hey i'm chance! i used to be on writeblr under a old username ages ago and i'm excited to be back. i don't know if they do these intros anymore (its been a while lol) but here's mine.
Tumblr media
✨ [ about ]
i'm queer and don't usually identify with any gender, though i use they/he pronouns. i also don't identify with any sexuality label most of the time. i like people and i like being whomever the fuck i want.
i'm an adult (born in 03) and to tend to delve into adult-oriented topics and tend to pepper my posts with so much fucking swearing. i also am pretty sure i'm neurodivergent (no diagnose or anything yet though) and tend to delve into hyper-fixations for weeks at a time. if i haven't posted for a while, it's probably because of one of my other hyper-fixations or school.
Tumblr media
🌐 [ interests ]
i'm interested in a bunch of genres, but i most often enjoy ::
romance
action
sci-fi
dystopian
heist
cyberpunk.
otherwise i enjoy ::
anime (esp 00s)
movies
history and historical designs
fanfiction (i love you ao3 authors <3)
drawing
y2k / retro futurism / cyberpunk / frutiger aero / weirdcore / 90s-00s tech
graphic design
kpop (esp shinee)
legend of zelda series
spiderman
batman
heist movies
i'm pretty obsessed with researching topics and learning the intricacies of various things, such as cyberpunk's history, movements within art, y2k designing, etc. i would self-describe as a extremely artistic or creative person, often switching between artistic mediums as i feel fit.
my favorite/comfort tropes (yes i pulled up my ao3 for this lol) ::
friends to lovers , enemies to lovers , fake/pretend relationship , college au , coffee shop au , domestic , fluff , angst

nova futurum [x] | #novafut #originalstory
i'm working on this queer mafia cyberpunk type story i've hesitantly decided to call 'Nova Futurum,' at least for now. i've got the general information down and i'm currently working on fleshing out my main characters. for now it's in the very basic stages, but feel free to ask me about it or give any tips! i'm pretty new to cyberpunk and i'm VERY new to writing, so all advice/tips is appreciated.
you still would've been mine [x] | #yswbm #fanfic
Steven "Steve" Rogers wakes up in the 21st century after crashing into the ice in 1942, leaving behind his life as the mascot of the USA along with his childhood in Brooklyn NYC. The Winter Soldier, a man left behind in the war recovers his memories as the man known as James "Bucky" Buchanen Barnes after meeting Steve in the modern time. Steve and Bucky recall their childhood and their experience in the war as they recover.

tw: the contents of this blog will contain themes that involve èds, alcoholism, sh, self d3precation, and overall spiralling. this blog is not looking to trigger anyone who is in recovery from any harmful behavior or substance, or anyone who is trying to just lead a healthy lifestyle. I support anyone who is in recovery and I genuinely root for them. this is a place for me to vent, share experience, to pretty much be a diary for what I go through and a way that I cope with my issues. please don't r3p0rt, just block instead and we'll all be merry.
🐝
you have been warned. now onto the introduction 💜
Tumblr media
hello!! my name is Rai and my pronouns are she/they. I am an '02 liner and as of right now I am 21 years old. My mbti is INFP-T, and enneagram 1w9.
I previously had a blog called questionablekpoppie was sadly t worded, so this is my newer and sadder one lmfao. here's a fun little piece of trivia: my username is the lyric from a song called "Farewell II Flesh" by a metal band named Ice Nine Kills. That song (even though it's based on the Candyman story) pretty much speaks to my soul and the lyrics say more about me as a person than I could ever utter yk.
🐝
My interests include music (particularly kpop, metal, classical, etc.), playing instruments (the bass guitar, and french horn), exercising, cooking (ironic), watching youtube/horror movies, and playing genshin impact. If anyone reading this is into any of those things, feel free to slide into my pms and we can chat about them!! But I do want to preface that if anyone below the age of 18 tries to contact me, I will not be responding and instead blocking because I don't wish to interact with minors online! I find it easier to relate with people closer to my age that also deal with young adult issues. I won't be following back minors either. i also will not tolerate any form of racism, homophobia, transphobia, p3d0 behavior, or just general icky-ness.

MAJOR CHANGES TO THIS BLOG
So this might get lengthy, but I promise everything I'm writing here is very important. So I do ask that you read it.
Apple and Yeong are on hiatus. I've gotten to where I don't enjoy writing them nearly as much anymore, and so threads with them are going to be absolutely insanely selective. Basically, the ideas I had in mind for them just aren't working and I don't have passion for them at the moment. It is what it is, and I apologize to everyone who was interacting with them. This means that memes directed towards them more than likely are going to go unanswered.
If there hasn't been a thread reply in a month, I'm considering it dropped. It doesn't matter who's turn it was to reply, I've just realized if it's taking that long to get a response, even from the busiest of people, then there just isn't any interest anymore. Either you've lost interest, or I've lost interest. It doesn't mean the ship itself is dropped, because that may not be the case. It just means interest somewhere has been lost, and that's how I'm interpreting it. I've gotten an idea of how my partners respond, and even at the slowest I can usually get one or two replies from them within a month. Though, most of my threads have been dormant for much longer than that.
My replies in general are going to be a lot more selective, as well as who I choose to write starters for. I do my best to go over blogs that I haven't followed, and I'll keep doing that. So if I don't write you a starter, it means that I'm not interested in interacting. It's not going to matter how many times you like a starter call, I'm not going to magically be interested. I want interactions, I would LOVE to have more interactions I can actually enjoy instead of forcing myself to do them, but sometimes there's people I just can't see myself getting along with in terms of writing.
I do have a page linked that's a list of plot ideas I have for my muses, and I would seriously love to do some of them. Actually do some of them, but I'm also very open to plotting out something else entirely with people. If you have an idea you think could work, feel free to send me a message.
I know I'm coming off sounding like a bitch with this post, but it's because I'm starting to get a bit disheartened honestly. There are stories and such to my muses, what shapes them into something more than just some Kpop faceclaim and it's feeling more and more like that doesn't matter. They're cute, so let's interact and vaguely toss in the story. I feel like with so much that I'm almost forcing my characters story into the RP, when that shouldn't be the case because it's their existence. I don't throw characters into the void just because I want to use a faceclaim. It can take me hours to days to find a proper faceclaim for the character I have in mind that I'm wanting to create. Which means that not every story is meant to be this happy-go-lucky, everything's perfect world. Yes, I know RP is meant to be an escape, and not everyone has the same escape. However, I love writing. I create these characters with so much more to them in mind, and so far 90% of it's just gone to waste. Which is what's led to Yeong and Apple being put on hiatus. They're popular, which is great, but it's also like...I'm just not doing anything with them. Yeah, there's threads and stuff, but I'm not doing anything with them. YES, that is partially my responsibility. It's absolutely my responsibility, and that's why I'm just not going to use them except in very selective interactions.
Okay, I'm done with the melodramatic shit now.
I did add another character, along with plots on the plot page. Hopefully. If I was able to edit the post properly. It's also been recently reblogged with Jisun's additions though.

𓇢𓆸 hello i'm alessa! i'm seventeen years old, brazilian and a pedagogical teaching student at college. i mainly reblog things but when i post my own stuff it's usually in english, sometimes portuguese and i can interact with some posts on spanish as well.
𓇢𓆸 i really enjoy and talk a lot about cinema, specially french movies, vintage fashion (20s, 60s, 70s and 90s), brazilian culture, photography, telenovellas, psychology, esoterism, poetry, magic realism, cannibalistic motifs, lana del rey, tamino, trip hop, jazz, latin rock, goth subculture, coquette and writing. i also stan some movie casts and kpop groups here and there.
𓇢𓆸 my blog has some light erotic-leaning reblogs but it's about the photography ONLY, don't see that as a inviting to perverted conversations.

Let's Talk Stans For A Second
This post is a long time coming (and will be very long by the end) but I've been thinking about it a lot lately. I'm tired of kpop stans treating adult idols with kid gloves, so here are a list of grievances on this point.
A lot of this mostly applies to bg stans.
Idol Critiques. It's fine if you wanna baby actual minors, but stop excusing every fuck up of adult idols. On the opposite end of the spectrum, stop admonishing other fans (or even casuals) who make entertainment out of the things your favorite member says/does. I don't really stan people but I do have favorite groups/members, so I'll use them for example. I like Yeonjun, some people find him extra. This is not my problem and I don't care. I like some NCT songs. Some people see them as a noise factory. Doesn't matter, it's not their preference. My point is, stop getting mad over people having opinions. As long as no one is like actively in Doyoung's face bullying him or something, I don't see the problem in critiquing/openly disliking something your faves do. And when I say bullying, I really mean bullying (like going to someone's face and harassing them for existing, calling them slurs, insulting them when they've done nothing wrong, etc.). Not stuff like being upset with Dream for constantly bullying Haechan for his weight and skin color.
Idol Perception. So many stans get upset when others' perceptions of their faves aren't the same as theirs. So-called soft stans get upset if you think an idol looks sexy with their hair pushed back. I don't usually see hard stans get upset at soft stans about too many things but I do think they can be very hypocritical about perceiving idols. For example, some hard stans will list out every single thing they want San to do to them but as soon as someone even jokes about Wooyoung being an icon for the bis they get extremely aggressive and protective (even when it's not coming from a sexual angle!!!). It's almost like they see anything non-heteronormative as inherently sexual, but even worse, it's sexual and perverted to them. Suddenly, they're all about protecting the idol's image/privacy/dignity when moments before they were talking about wanting him to cum in their eyeball. And don't get me wrong it happens with soft stans and gg stans too, but I wanted to point out the particular hypocrisy of straight bg stans.
Idol Image. This is very similar to the perception point, but more so about the way so many kpop fans think they know EVERYTHING about their faves including their faves inner thoughts. Do you all know how many times I've heard things like: "OMG!! Don't do/say that because Taehyun doesn't like it!! Source? Just trust me, I have an *emotional connection* with him!!" stated in complete seriousness? It's one thing to JOKE about idols becoming their real selves when they breathe the good old red, white and blue air, but to project your specific thoughts and feelings onto an idol (without clarifying that it's your headcanon) is too much. Y'all do NOT know these people. Joke (and hell even speculate) all you want, but it's obvious to everyone when you've have stopped joking and have crossed the line into wanting to literally just lying about what idols have actually said to fit your narrative of who they are (a good example of this is the unnie/hyung line raised the maknae narrative every fandom has).
Idol Image pt. 2. And on this note, I want to address the other part of the fandom who think any speculation/gossip about an idol is unacceptable/inappropriate/morally wrong. I feel like I've said this in the past but it merits repeating: if you are a public figure, you sign up to be discussed up to a limited extent. Clearly, people should not go out into the world and stalk/harass idols. It's just that idols are not immune from a little drama about being seen at a club or having a significant other, etc. Idols are celebrities. They have a public side and a private side. Obviously, fans need to know the line between harmless gossip (and even news reporting of actual crimes...) and harmful harassment. It seems like fans of non-kpop idols completely understand the assignment. For example, there's gossip all the time about Shohei Ohtani (especially now that he's being accused of federal gambling crimes), but his fans are not out here wearing capes about how you shouldn't discuss certain things because it's *private*. I feel like as long as you're being normal about it (i.e., not harassing idols) and treating gossip as what it is (unconfirmed information), it's human nature to want to know things/know the truth of things that have evidence. Examples of relatively normal gossip includes wanting to know: if an idol has recently had cosmetic/plastic surgery, if an idol is secretly an asshole (or a sweetie pie) off-camera, if an idol endured harsh training conditions (or, alternatively, if they were the golden child who got everything they wanted), etc. Where it crosses the line is trying to find out their address/phone number, unsubstantiated allegations of crimes (like what happened with Beomhan), etc. I feel like people engaging in gossip culture should and often do know the difference between those things but fans treat it all as harmful if it doesn't specifically serve their fave. I can personally attest to seeing the same fans who denounce gossip culture loving that very same thing when it supports their view of their bias. For example, whenever there's rumors about idols who treat staff very well no one has a problem with it. Or rumors about idols practicing all hours of the night (meaning they're a hard worker) or rumors about them being very close to their members (meaning they're a team player), etc. But let there be a harmless rumor that doesn't suit their narrative (like the idol having a romantic partner, the idol being a club bunny, etc.) and suddenly it's "all gossip is bad and I'm better than those who engage in it because what they do offscreen is none of my business." Meanwhile these same people have entire headcanons about their bias based on some cookie crumbs they heard about him being a good person one time. 5. What is a Koreaboo, anyway? In case someone needs to hear this again: liking kpop, being attracted to your bias, learning korean, being interested in Korean culture, and making friends who are Korean doesn't make you a koreaboo. What makes you a koreaboo is reducing korea down to kpop and othering korean things as utopian/godly/divine, when it's just...another country that's different from your own. Too many kpop stans will accuse someone of being a koreaboo when that person is just interested in kpop (or korea because of kpop) when that's not what a koreaboo is. It's like calling a korean person an americaboo because they want to travel to NYC or LA and love American entertainment (dramas, music, etc.). What would make someone an americaboo is if they had an unhealthy obsession with all things US to the point where they had wholly out of touch assumptions about the US and reduced the US down to those few assumptions. THAT's the difference. But liking American movies, culture, celebrities; wanting to learn english; etc. wouldn't make someone an americaboo... So just apply the logic in reverse.
Anyway.

Have you ever had hard time to enter a fandom that is your whole world in your childhood? So I first watch One Piece when I was 6 about 20 years ago, and I really love it (have the tshirt, shoes, manga, etc). And I followed it until I finished high school. But then I suddenly lose interest. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate it, just don't want to enter to that fandom again. My anime/manga moots now, don't even know that I used to love One Piece.
What do you think is wrong with me? I still watch the new movie if it came out in the cinema and I don't mind to know the update or spoiler of the story, I just don't want to watch the series or read the manga again. I'm weird, right?
I found your blog because of your JJK posts (now I'm into JJK and have at least 4 ships that I really love) also from you I know that Law got turned to a woman (like really)...
And if you aks me, I have ships (mostly mlm and wlw) from any fandom of manga and anime that I consume, except if those series are from my childhood. Like, I can't seem to ship Zoro and Sanji or any other character from OP because in my mind they are all platonic. But you gave me anime/manga that have a little bit bromance, and I'll ship them of course.
After talk it out, I must look really strange to you right? Sorry for this silly ask. Thanks for your blog, I love them. Also, thank you for your anime/manga recs. As BokuAka shipper that last ask of yours really made me happy that they are at least canon-ish....
I don't really think this is weird at all because this happened to me with a different fandom lol. It wasn't a show, but from ages 11-18/19 I was OBSESSED with kpop. I bought the albums and the merch when I could, my original tumblr blog was an Exo blog with about 900ish followers, it was all I listened to for years. And then one day I just stopped. I certainly was sick of kpop fans but nothing major happened for me to lose interest, I just kind of moved on. It happens. And while I still listen to some kpop, it's all the old stuff that I used to like, I don't go and venture out for new music or interact with any fandom with it now. It's the exact same situation you described I think, I don't hate it! But I have zero interest to rejoin the fandom because I do have issues with it and any kind of interaction is just for me at this point. (The next part is about One Piece specifically so I'm gonna put a cut here cause I wrote a lot lmao)
In regards to One Piece specifically, I think I understand where you're coming from. One, it seems like a lot of fans have lost interest at some point (usually between Fishman Island-Dressrosa, or maybe even up to WCI) and some pick it back up, and some don't. And I get that! I think I came into it at the perfect time where even if there is an arc I don't like as much, I always had Wano and Egghead to look forward to, and the end is now in sight. And reading week to week is always going to be a different experience than blitzing through the series like I did. Fortunately Egghead is amazing week to week, this is some of Oda's best work, but if I had to read week to week during, say, Punk Hazard or Dressrosa, yeah I would have complaints and most likely lose interest lmao. I don't know if this was your experience, but you definitely aren't the only one to have lost interest.
The fandom...yeah I have issues lol, particularly with fans from the West. I went to Japan this summer (before starting One Piece) and looking back it stood out to me that One Piece is EVERYWHERE and it's something that everyone loves regardless of age and gender. There were One Piece themed stores I went into where old ladies and middle aged men and little girls were all clearly invested in this series, and from what I've heard the consensus in Japan is that this series is enjoyed by families. I bring that up because the conversation around One Piece is OVERWHELMINGLY dominated by cishet men, usually in their mid 20s to mid 30s, and it shows. I think it is starting to shift to where there's more diversity in the fandom (or at least seen diversity) but man does it have a long way to go. I'm not impressed by how the fandom has reacted to trans characters, in particular Yamato, a trans male character in Wano where you have people still to this day scream about how he is a woman and will die on that hill. I think the whitewashing should of started being a conversation ten years ago instead of the last year or two. I think the issue of sexism within One Piece is complex, and it's not afforded the nuance it deserves from either side. I've stated multiple times I'm not a fan of powerscaling, but oh god is it terrible here, where it has somehow become prioritized for so many fans, even if it doesn't make sense from a narrative or character perspective. And maybe it's an overall media literacy problem, and I really don't mean to come off as a snob here because I certainly don't pick up on everything, but it's insane how many fans do not pick up on the core themes of the series, and just like it for...the fights. All of this to say, I have frustration as well with this fandom.
With the shipping, just always remember that they are ultimately headcanons, and you never have to agree with a headcanon to enjoy something, even if the headcanon is popular. One Piece can be tricky because I very much understand the desire to view things strictly as platonic, and in fact in canon this is what I want, I don't want any of my ships to be confirmed lmao. Where I get hung up a little bit though is that I think multiple characters in the series are queer coded, whether intentional or not. Of course there are the intentional ones like Iva and Bon Clay and Kiku, but I do genuinely believe a lot of the strawhats are queer coded as well, in particular Luffy, Nami, Zoro, Sanji, and Franky. I would be happy to expand on that more in another ask if you would like. But with these characters being queer coded, or at the very least they can be read that way, shipping seems like a natural progression for many fans, even if there is no romantic subtext to speak of. So all in all, I totally understand why shipping is a no go for you with One Piece, but this is my general thought process as I do ship some characters in the series.
TLDR anon is that I don't think you're strange at all, we gain and lose interest in things all of the time, and your concerns with the fandom and the series as a whole are valid I think, I've thought about a lot of the same stuff you have listed here even though I am a big fan.

hello world :)))
studyblr (re)introduction.
i used to lurk in the shadows as an inactive studyblr account but now that i'm a university student i want to team up and make friends :D
about me
i'm aleixandre, i use she/her pronouns and i'm studying robotic engineering. i'm only on my first year so there's a lot i have yet to learn !!
my degree involves chemistry, physics, a lot of maths and programming, for now.
i'm from spain, so i speak spanish as well. i'm not interested in the language side of the community but if anyone wants to chat in spanish i'm open to it. also, if i make any mistakes in english i blame it on not being a native speaker lol.
what do i plan to use this account for?
i'm looking for people in the stem community so we can complain about how our degree is so so hard together :) and also to see how is it like to study engineering at other places/countries.
i'll post cute pictures from time to time, but i'm not all that focused on aesthetics. i'm messy at heart but i like toying with image edition :)
i like poetry and essays too, so i'll share quotes/articles about learning and academia that i find around.
lastly, i'd like to take part in productivity challenges and other commmunity activities, if only to connect with more people :D. i study a lot anyways so i might as well share it with the rest of the class !!
misc
i listen to a lot of music and i like making connections/web weaving !! some of my favourites are
° argentinian urban music (which doesn't feel like most people in the studyblr community are into, but it's like. really mainstream stuff lol),
° kpop groups such as itzy (the girl in my profile picture is ryujin!) , xdinary heroes, stray kids, [g]idle or nmixx.
°sad girl classics, aha, like fiona apple and mitski
° and... a lot i don't feel like individually mentioning but can't sort into categories either. they will come up in my blog though :))
i also watch anime sporadically. i'm currently obsessed obsessed obsessed with chainsaw man !!!
i was told i should be more participative in class so i'll try my best to put myself out there too. people usually tag people here but the blogs i used to follow (main is @originz, i follow from there btw) are mostly dead so if anyone from the stemblr community wants to be buddies it'd be great ?? if you read till the end you get my gratitude <3
see you around!

This blog is literally for my brain noise. Do NOT take me too seriously. You can call me Jean.
About opinions on BTS Members, their personalities, behaviour etc-
I seriously believe that celebrity lives are not something we should have strong opinions on. We can just speculate but please LEAVE HUGE ROOM for doubt as we barely know 5% about what they are upto and what they are like IRL. Or even lesser. Also, I don't hate a celebrity unless they are actually convicted of a crime or say/do problematic things. Again, it's subjective what people will find problematic.
That being said, my biases are jm, suga, rm. Jhope for a while too.
First ever bias was agustd, jm wrecked.
Tae, jk, jin have never been in my bias line, but I appreciate the talent.
Genuinely just here for the music and to listen to them talking about music (Big music nerd). The only thing I take seriously are music and performances. Ships, personalities, fandom trends etc are all semi-serious stuff to me.
About kookmin/jikook:
This might be the usual answer- the exclusively soft and 'couple' like behaviour jkk have towards each other has me intrigued. It makes me mushy and puts me in the feels. Some people here genuinely believe they are dating, and they can think like that. I personally don't think of them like that. I simply do not feel like making such bold statements about 2 people I have only seen photos and videos of. To me, they are my comfort ship and of course I acknowledge they are the closest IRL. That's the best way I can put it. I literally don't care who they date irl, as that's none of my business. That being said, I do think they are more soulmates than vmin themselves. (Sorry vmin, i love you, but jkk superior as they LITERALLY CAN'T STAY AWAY FROM EACH OTHER, UGH)
PS:
1. I'm lowkey obsessed with Jimin. If my username didn't give that away. (Read "tugs at my heartstrings")
2. Everything I say here are just opinions or jokes, not facts. If it's serious for me, you'll know. Trust me, you'll know.
