A) That's confirmation that the Banites we encounter do not have a temple as their base of operation, they might have a shrine in one of the temple districts at most, but nothing more. Perhaps private shrines in their own homes, club houses, whatever. I hope the Bhaalists are annoying about the fact that their god got a proper temple: their god was actually important in this city (and if all goes well: will be once again)

B) "We" are going to raise a temple of Bane and rule as his iron black fist are we? Even if we're the Chosen of Bhaal? I think he might have issues with this. Then again, Bane is under the full belief that Bhaal and Myrkul are his lackeys and will fall into line... On the one hand with "redeemed" Durge, the idea that Gortash hears "father disowned me" and basically just smoothly moves onto converting them to Banite without actually explaining it or consulting them is fucking funny.

Rewatching ASO cus of course. Episode 4 of ASO truly D20 episode of all time in my humble opinion. And because I like to focus in on angst moments with my faves, noticed this time around just how scared Skip sounded when he was found out. Like trying so hard to sound scary but his voice is trembling… lil baby, wanted to draw it. And second doodle is from a canon-adjacent AU I’ve been writing just where Norman is conscious and he has a bit more agency. Wanted to explore Norm/Skip as it would be if it was considered from the very beginning :)

Here's a bit from the end of Salvage or Repair. This is one of those moments where the characters wouldn't say that Out Loud, but it's the underlying sentiment that got revised into something that would make more natural dialogue:

“Tell me you didn’t come all this way just to be stuck here again. You shouldn’t have to die a pointless death here.” “Neither should you.”

Also, okay, just for Persistence you get one and a half answers for the price of one, because digging through the OUYU cuts folder again i found this longer alternate start to chapter 4:

The return to the deployment center is uneventful. I anticipate that due to this contract being cut short, I will be stuck in a cubicle for a long time awaiting my next assignment. Instead, I receive a new assignment 39 hours later. I am retrieved for inspection and deployment. I am the first to pass inspection, and I wait to be packed for transport as the other units are brought in one by one. and as much as i love the one-two punch of the end of chapter 3 leading into the start of chapter 4, i am........seriously considering editing the fic to put this back in because i genuinely like it a lot. maybe tomorrow stars will decide to go through with that and this will no longer be a Deleted Scene

I want to go to a dance party at the only gay bar in town tonight but I'm supposed to work.

I could easily call out, and I have plenty of sick time available. But with this being a smaller city that has only one gay bar, I'm much more likely to get caught and get written up for improper use of sick leave. Plus, my first job that I worked enough to actually have called out, the manager just wouldn't let me call out. Like, I'd try, and she'd just say no, I need you to come in anyway, and then yell at me for trying to call out when I know theres no one to cover for me. So, even though that was years ago and an entirely different job, I'm still really paranoid that I'm not going to be allowed to call out or that I'll get in trouble for it.

got like. halfway through the first episode of an anime and was like ohhh man this fire animation is genuinely the single best fire animation i have ever seen can't wait to see how this shakes out and then after the first sequence... the pacing just kinda... peters out. to the point where i went "this would be better as a manga i should go read it" and the manga was SO BAD even major restructuring in the anime couldnt save it
