#I get seperating the characters from the ccs

I actually can't even call myself a dsmp fan (hense my intro post saying dsmp community because I still do love seeing fan works about the characters) because I'm soooo disconnected from the actual story at this point its just a. thing that lives in my head. I genuinely haven't revisited the source material since 2021 probably. even while I was actively watching streams in 2020 there was SO much that I fucking hated about the inconsistency in the storytelling and its always been a story that exists better in my mind, I think a lot of people feel this way too but there are certain characters who I just do not GAF about because they were essentially just the cc's who got shoved into a roleplay story unknowingly (you cannot make me care about george sapnap or punz characters even in the slightest I'm sorry)

Hey do you have any like, headcanons for grian the character and now have to deal with the guy while thinking about them

not really because if anything this has sort of reaffirmed the idea that the persona of the hermits they show in hc and the life series is quite seperate to their irl selves in my head, (sort of like how c! and cc! on dsmp were Very Seperate in my mind), BUT it does definitely make looking at/seeing some fancontent feel quite weird bc i actually get to talk to the guy in person now and see him as The Real Him instead of the Internet Persona him and that does change the perception of everything a bit for sure. especially since the stuff they portray in hermitcraft and life series isnt full-on roleplay like it was on dsmp, so the lines have always been blurrier in the first place as to seperating cc from c. but yeah no since ive always been a more casual hermit fan i didnt have any of that in my head luckily haha, but its still weird for sure

I think people think you hate Scott cuz you don't really say anything positive about him.

Also it feels like you turn Jimmy into a baby in regards to FH. Like, you don't seem to acknowledge that Jimmy also wasn't being very nice to Scott and that it wasn't a one-sided abusive relationship.

Aww man yeah. It's not like morally reprehensible characters can be enjoyed. You guys remember how anyone who liked Scar from Lion King, or Hannibal, or Richard |||, or Light Yagami or Ashfur etc was just a hater? Be honest, do you think I hate Scott because you don't draw as clear a disticntion between him and the CC and are upset by the way I speak, and/or because you personally don't like him in the way I do? Why does my intrigue for someone who does wrong really translate to hate?

But Ok anon I have a game for you: give me specific moments with timestamps in which Jimmy treated Scott bad in ways comparable to moments like:

- Jimmy expressing "what if he starts hitting me?"

- Scott telling Pearl "you just gotta whittle him down to nothing, that's what I did"

- Scott hitting and shooing him away in the bamboo scene

- Scott reaffirming Jimmy's fault when he felt bad about blowing up 3 people

- Scott on repeated occasions babying Jimmy (but apparently I'm babying Jimmy for daring to point it out lol) by instilling his incompetence alone, which Jimmy also adots and starts thinking himself to be. Even at the very beginning of 3L Scott builds Jimmy's house for him because he didn't like how it looked

- Scott in RL causing Jimmy to die with intent by destroying a block below him on the verge of a hole, then blaming it on Martyn, then trying to appeal to Jimmy with a Poppy as if it was supposed to remind him of better times

- Scott pressuring Jimmy to say "I love you" on at least 3 seperate occasions, including one time where he accused him of not saying it back and another where he was sacrificing himself for him

If you're about to tell me that Jimmy was also absuive because he owed Scott, eg he was abusive for not saying "I love you" back, because that's the most common argument I see - please tell me how you're not also babying Jimmy by making the argument that he owed Scott for taking care of him - that he "took Scott for granted"

You can say that I infantilize Jimmy, I think I do, but that's rooted in canon. He gets infantilized in canon on countless instances across several SMPs by other characters, so it becomes relevant in analysis of him in understanding how his skill only ever shines when he's not in a detrimental enviornment that enforces his prrceived incompetence, like with Scott

as many may know about the whole situation reguarding wilbur's actions towards shelby, i will no longer support him as a content creator (as of now, at least until further context/information is provided)

however, concerning his fictional characters/bursonas, i will still be drawing fanart and posting about them. i will be seperating the characters from the creator and will view them entirely as fictional characters, i will not be drawing anything related to cc!wilbur. i may turn some of my bursona designs into original characters in the future? but as of now, they will remain as bursonas. i may also try to get into other fandoms if i can.

i am just as upset as everyone else is about the news, but please support shubble as much as possible. she is the one who is the most important and needs the most support. nothing is set in stone yet, and i will adjust my content/opinion towards cc!wilbur as more information gets known. at the very least, i hope wilbur takes accountability and at shows geniune remorse and improvement. but whatever you do, do not forgive, support, or defend wilbur on anything.

Who are you?

I'm c!Wilbur! I recall most everything from the Dream SMP and then some, even though my blog is mainly Revivebur themed.

I go by He/They. I love writing, sketching, music, plays, geography, and folklore/mythology, among other things. I was still an English Major in my canon and hope to someday be the same in real life.

To be clear, I'm a minor, so keep that in mind!

Why did you make this blog?

To interact with other Dream SMP kins, of course. This goes for everyone; fictionkins, fictionhearted folk, soulbonds, copinglinks, IRLS fictives, whatever. If you're a Dream SMP character, hit me up, baby!

Anyone in particular you're looking for/you want to stay away from you?

I'm looking for anyone who might've knew me, of course, although I'm mainly looking for those I held dear to me. This includes my beloathed c!Quackity, the lovely c!Niki, my little brother c!Tommy, my dad c!Philza, and the awesome c!Technoblade. And, of course, my wife Sally and my son c!Fundy, if you're out there.

REGARDING the recent hate from the SelfAware Blogs.

I'm telling you all to cut it the fuck out. If you have severe issues with it, block us, there's already a pinned masterpost in @mammoncritical with the blogs already.

I am tired of people getting all "Erm this is annoying actually."

I bet you guys run RP Blogs, don't you? If you think my little project is terminally online then the same can be said for nearly the internet hate campaign against critics for daring to dislike a show.

I won't tolerate disrespectful anon asks to my moots who are doing a fun thing, this is WHAT happened to the Instagram versions of the characters.

Most of you arent aware, but did you know Insta!Octavia was sent Porn when they were a minor running the account? I just got back from looking at @0ctaviacr1ticizes account and two or one person sent a hate ask to them, do I have to tell you guys to cut this shit out.

Normally I don't bring attention to them but this is needed to be said, you can dislike a blog or subjects.

But going out of your way to send anon asks to people who like doing this thing to complain about it. Only farms hate for no reason, I know that it wasn't the plan at all, but be respectful to the community. I fostered this AU with the mentality to have a seperate community for criticals to act out as their favorite characters without rehashing the same points over and over, and if people are gonna be negative norman's over it then there's a block button, expressing your dislike to the SAME community that they splintered off of is not getting you anywhere.

Before you also say This has to do with Octavia why are you speaking on behalf of them? because I was the one who started this, the blogs reblog my post introducing them to this AU, of course I have every right to issue out warnings and prevent toxicity because if there's ONE thing that I will do that VIV won't do, is stop this toxicity and complaints.

Everyone has a right to free speech and complaints but instead of going to my moots and other CC to shittalk it, you can block them. It's like any standard TRP hosted on here, hell I had a Transformers RP Blog here @2cvri0vs4u.

"My next gen ocs because they make up alot of my wip fics (including CC Dark World Au stuff) and also my mind...

Cameron Callaghan - Muggleborn Slytherin in the year below Albus and Scorpius. Her mother is an Archaeologist and her father is a Nurse. She is inspired by one of the actors we see on the CC tiktok account who played a background character, but with changes. She wears a green beanie with cat ears on it (because she deserves it) and likes making silly Muggle references. She began to admire Scorpius and Albus after they found her crying in the empty classroom they usually hide out in and she mentioned how her mum travels alot and she worries about her dad being alone whilst she's at Hogwarts, to which Scorpius offers her some sweets. It's nice. Overall, Cameron is a genuine, kind, blunt (but means well) person. Her patronus is a Panda.

Persephone Hunter - Muggle girl, nickname Seph... I made her so I could give Delphi a girlfriend and grew attached. Seriously one of my favourite ocs so far I think she's wonderful. She has vitiligo and is the child of two teachers (who work in the same school. They recall their meet cute alot). Delphi met her whilst trying to find muggle clothing at age 18 (one year before Albus started at Hogwarts, she was plotting at this point) and Persephone was a worker there. Persephones maternal great uncle was coincidentally a muggleborn but he had no children who could inherit magic. Seph is extremely clumsy but makes up for it with her otherwise levelheadedness. If she was wixen, she'd rather be Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw (Everyone swears up and down she'd be Hufflepuff because she's so sweet, but Delphi is sure she'd be in Ravenclaw.) (She's right.) (Her patronus would be a dove)

Mackenna Hughes - Halfblood Gryffindor who is friends with Melody Fawley! He was teased for having a "girly" name but clocked the one who tried to make a joke of it in the nose and everyone kinda just left him alone after that. He goes by the nickname Mac anyway. He is Melody's in man, the guy who gets her all the gossip in his house and spreads any news she needs spread to the Gryffindors. This is most prevalent in the cc band au when Albus and Scorpius are recruiting the younglings to spread word of their band playing in every common room, and Melody has to take charge (she plays a large part in this au). Mac is a strongheaded boy who clashes with people alot because he's secretly very sensitive. All in all he's just a little bit of a bastard and doesn't do anything more than flicking paper balls at passerbys to be a annoying. Admires James ii and Fred ii unbelievable amounts. His Patronus is a Horse.

Keiran - Halfblood Ravenclaw who is in the same year as James ii, Fred ii, and Dominique (I'll make a seperate post on age headcanons)(hello future Shralbus here! I wont). Had an older brother in Hufflepuff who was in the same year as Teddy and was his friend (I will not touch upon him im sorry...) Keiran is calm but short tempered, though never yelling at whoever stepped on his fuse. He is often found studying alongside Craig Bowker Jr in the library and pestering students talking alongside Polly Chapman who thinks shes his protoge (he thinks shes a nuisance). He is a prefect! His parents were two squibs. His Patronus is a squid."

i agree with most of your (& last anon's) points about lifesteal shippers & seperating c! from cc! just had some things to add

idk the timeline of the kab stream where she might have spoke over him, but manepear originally did have his boundaries as do whatever don't be weird, but he changed them last week no shipping at at all. (possibly due to the sudden popularity of /r manehare, I personally didn’t see much manepear shipping before that). 

I think most of lifesteal fan’s hostile mentality towards enforcing boundaries is because lifesteal ccs are known to interact with fandom space through twitter (and twitch chat though that's expected) compared to tumblr or ao3. I wish there was a secondary tag for ccs to mute that for things that aren't directly spoilers, i feel like the twitter fandom could benefit from that. 

i do get why cc might not want to be shipped, even as characters because everyone has a different distinction between how much is them playing a character and how much is really them. though sometimes cc's seem to blur their own lines (kab has done this). but unless a cc has explicitly stated their boundaries, people still shouldn’t post ship content where they know cc’s can see it. it's a bit of a different situation if it's posted on a platform where you'd have to actively look for it to find it.

now you see, i know and to some extent agree with this mainly in the part where its best not to post ship things and the like on public twitter (tho if we had it my way nothing that could count as "fandomizing" such as identity headcanons should be posted about where the ccs can see it anyway but nobody gives a fuck about that now do they?) but the thing is this sort of culture is a more recent development in the mcyt fandom (including twitter) that mainly came after cmc's serious stream and is notably one that is directly correlated with the increased amount of harassment in the mcyt fandom in addition to the fact that fancops historically have made fandoms an incredibly toxic and suffocating place which are two big reasons why i dont respect it in the slightest

tho i def agree that twitter could use a tag that ccs can mute but honestly considering how twitter culture is theres a nonzero chance itll be used to harass ppl so i dont think it'll be worth it, there is also ig the alternative solution of making a secondary account thats either privete or has the ccs blocked and does not use any hashtag or any of their easily searchable names that way they cant see any posts from there (although i have yet to see an account thats like this its fair to assume there already are ones that are like this since thats usually how it goes)

Taking a break from retirement. I don't follow this blog (because the posts here can get a bit too intense sometimes), but when I get bored and miss StarKid (or check if my anon posts got published or reacted to), I do read the posts here. Here’s what I think about the current posts I’ve read.

Why do people who apparently dislike or hate Robert Manion still talk about him, even though the events happened a few years ago? Please ask yourselves this. Sure, he committed his wrongdoings back in 2020 and/or 2021, but is three years not enough to stop talking about it? People generally know his actions were bad. Even those who don't know him or know nothing about SK understand that harassing someone romantically and sexually online and saying insensitive or uninformed things is wrong. (If I miss something or I'm being vague about it, it’s because I avoid that Robert topic and vaguely remember what he actually said online. I don't care to read about them again because I know what's right and what's wrong.)

I don't even hate Robert, probably because I left the fandom when he joined. When I came back, he was no longer a part of SK.

To those who are new, please read Robert's fandom wiki page and look up information online about why he left and the controversies surrounding him in SK’s past. There’s no need to add to the discourse about someone whom StarKid carefully mentions online because of what happened—trust me, there’s already more than enough awareness about it online.

I remember they did not even tag Robert in their IG post about the Twisted anniversary, but they did post his character's photo. Joey briefly mentioned him while talking about TGWDLM or BF during the CC Kickstarter livestreams.

Note, expressing that you miss or wish Robert had stayed because you enjoyed his performances will likely attract replies about what he did, and they often repeat the same things. It’s probably best to avoid this.

He was a good and funny performer, then he made some mistakes, and he left SK.

And yes, Robert still talks and works with Jon Matteson and maybe a few other SK members. They probably made amends. Deal with it. It's their lives and friendships.

P.S. I block Robert Manion tags here on Tumblr, but I’m still curious why he is still discussed by fans as a person and what he did, rather than just as a performer. I can understand fans talking about his past creative work with SK, like how good of a performer he was and about his characters.

Will there still be a lot of discourse/posts about Rob’s actions in the next 5 or 10 years? Hopefully not, as we all get older and the active and older SK members will be in their 40s or 50s. Heck, they might even talk about him again and maybe open up about what he did (again) as a reflection, kind of like a deep-dive history documentary, when SK reaches their 20th or 30th anniversary or something.

My first real post about my Sims story! I don't have main characters anymore because I'm playing rotationally, in the manner Sims 3 intended. I use Nraas to keep dreams/opportunities but I don't stop my sims from doing anything else.

I can predict a question " What if your Sims do something you didn't want?" It's simple you see, I kill them. Just kidding 😅 my whole point with this is to experiment with boring bone's social consequences mod and see what they get up to. Anywho, onto pics!

Welcome to Capp & Capp Co. My assignment for the day. I know it takes some simmers days to finish a building this big, but I'm short on time, so I'll show what I've done so far. BTW I decorate, I can't build to save my life (or sims lives for that matter). This building is off the sims 3 exchange.

On the first floor we have...a damn mess. The whole thing is tagged as a consignment store, and the first floor was decorated as one upon download. I've been perfectly happy with it until today, when I started messing with it because I was decorating upstairs. I'm thinking about making it a jewelry store 🤔 and the dimensions are good for one. I added a couple glass counters and a changing table to the bathroom. I deserve no credit for this 😅.

Upstairs thanks to the fabulous phoebejaysims, is a boutique! It took so long to decorate it that the mannequins don't have outfits yet. But I'm really happy with this store. I'm considering making a more male friendly store, since I did make this pretty girly. Maybe upstairs?

The top floor currently houses my real estate office. I only have one real estate agent, and she's rich. So maybe I should make her a home office. If I were to make a more male centered clothing store, it would definitely go up here.Make the whole thing a department store, and switch the lot type to market. I'll probably end up switching the lot type regardless, since i do have plans for a seperate consignment store.

Maybe the male centered clothing store would be blue? 🤔 I have the cc to accomplish my vision. I didn't mention this before, but I'm playing in Northbend. It's so gorgeous! I don't have any closed rabbit holes in my town (all playable buildings) and I'm having a ball making everything fit with the sims who live there.

I'd like to take a moment to thank each and every person who makes mods and cc for the Sims 3. I've been playing this game for 15 years, and right now I am having the greatest time I have ever had playing. There are not enough words to express my gratitude, and I deeply thank you all! 💜

I realised that I hadn't really talked about which SMPs will actually be part of Everything's Interconnected. I have mentioned Empires S2 and Hermitcraft S8 and S9 but there are others.

Hermitcraft S10 might be added later but the hermits would be different characters from S8 and 9, so it might be easier to keep it kinda seperate like the life series and EVO.

Im not adding any earlier series, such as one life, crazy craft, ect, because I don't feel like they have enough lore / story to work with and I can't really remember them.

ok this isn’t really a post about the situation but it is a minor update to how i’ll be handling a few of my aus:

the whole rant is under the cut but tldr: the aus i talk about here are Store Shifter, Dad’s Troubles, Flubber, and Epic. Store Shifter and Dad’s Troubles are getting left alone, Flubber is getting a minor recast, and Epic is getting more majorly reworked (mostly character wise, kinda plot wise). As of right now, Wil/crimeboy centric fics are on pause. Not cancelled, but i’ll see later down the road if they need changed or if i can learn to separate the character from the creator. I will be updating the Epic au soon with said reworkings cause i really really really wanna finish that story. I have yet to start and actually finish a chaptered fic and I want this to be my first.

most recently i’ve been posting a few updates on mainly the Store Shifter and Flubber au, while i’ve been kinda working on the Dad’s Troubles and Epic AU in the background.

For the most part, these aus will remain unchanged because you know who either isn’t in them or isn’t a main character. For the Store Shifter, i’m not changing it for now because he isn’t and was never planned to be an important character. I’m just gonna ignore him in that au. Dad’s Troubles he just straight up isn’t in, so that one is unchanged.

Flubber au is a little different: i’m just recasting. He doesn’t have a huge part, but it is a lore important one, so from now on in that story the main antagonist will be Dream (1: he’s easy to stick in the “Tommy’s antagonistic boss” role and 2: i need at least one au where Dream is an antagonist lol). So yeah i’ll make a more official post for that au later.

The main reason for this post tho is the Epic AU, which is one of my personal favorites and i have so much that I want to talk about it for and even a whole bunch of new characters and concepts and world building that I want to post about. However, this au faces a problem for me at this moment: it’s crimeboy centric.

As of right now, I do not feel comfortable updating any of my Wil/crimeboy centric aus/fics. This is not to say I’m discontinuing them, i’m personally very attached to my own fics and a lot of them were written to either help me feel better or to help other people feel better, so I don’t feel right just throwing them away. Also, i will never be deleting my fics or shutting down this account, so I don’t want people to worry there, either. However, I don’t know how comfortable I am with writing for c!Wil rn, especially since this situation is still so fresh and plenty of people haven’t shared their experiences/responses (not to say that I expect anyone to; i don’t expect everything to be handled publicly over twitter). I think in time i’ll be able to separate the character from the actor; unfortunately i’ve been through this before. i’ve seperated characters who were far more like their creator from said creator who had done far worse things (if anyone on this blog has watched TribeTwelve, you know exactly what I’m talking about).

However, even if I eventually decide that I can write c!Wil while separating him from his creator, i don’t know if i’ll ever feel fully comfortable incorporating him in stories with a bigger cast of characters given the cc responses to his actions. Any stories where I have him interacting with people like Ranboo, Tubbo, or especially Niki will likely need to be changed because i don’t feel comfortable portraying them like friends anymore.

I’ve kind of done this before, honestly, i just never posted about it last time: when beeduo first stopped talking publicly, i stopped writing for beeduo. To this day, i have a fuck ton of beeduo requests in my inbox that i never got to and may not ever write because i didn’t feel comfortable writing their characters being close when in real life they may have had a falling out or now hated each other (so, so sorry to the people that sent those btw). Over time, most people started to realize that it was because of the crazy amount of shipping. It was bad during the dsmp and only got worse when Ranboo came out and all the speculation over Tubbo’s sexuality hit its peak when he’d made it very clear that crossed his boundaries. After realizing their silence was likely just them trying to shut up a more toxic part of both of their fanbases, i became a bit more comfortable writing them as friends again. I still haven’t made any beeduo centric fics or stories since then cause i don’t know the full story of what happened between them, this is all just speculation, but i at least have them be friends as supporting characters in aus i’ve already made.

All this to say that the way i handle the rest of my aus really depends on how things play out more with the situation. Again, it’s still new and i’m still gathering my thoughts. I can think about it more clearly now that i’ve gotten over the shock, which is why i’m posting this, but not every decision will be finalized immediately.

However, back to the Epic AU, it will be getting a rework in a lot of ways. I’m changing up the cast, and i’ve decided to cut Wil entirely because 1: i’m impatient and this is an au that i really wanna start up again and keep working on right now and 2: in the au i have him being friends with Ranboo and Dream and Tubbo and again that’s just not something i feel super comfortable with rn. So, i’m recasting and minorly changing the plot so i can update that one soon cause honestly i just miss it. I’ve still got so many asks and art requests (Becky sent me an art request like almost a year ago now and istg i’m gonna fucking draw it if it kills me) and there was a whole nother species i teased a bunch and then just…never told you about.
