idk i love that ketheric is devs' special princess out of all three chosen like. orin is the crazy murder woman, the cult leader, sarevok's daughter, almost-destined-to-be bhaal's chosen, blood and gore and violence aesthetics and all. gortash is the tyranny guy, the power hungry usurper with almost cartoonishly evil grin and lil devils embroided on his clothes. and then there's sad dead geezer. he's voiced by jk simmons. he has the most badass introduction. a whole act is built around his story. he could've been a recruitable companion

something really funny to me about my mom really thinking i wanted to become a therapist because i'm taking psychology & have like 2-3 psych books

i would genuinely be The Worst therapist i simply wouldn't be able to care about any of my patients . i would believe i am better than my patients . it would be a circus .

#cluster b #npd #bpd #i just have a special interest in psychiatry. sociology mostly. i'm Only in this class for the sociology #even then i disagree with a lot of things in psychiatry #have been dealing with mental health systems since i was 9 and all it has done is make me absolutely despise it all #i get the feeling she thinks i'm a “i'm so inspired by the treatment i've recieved that i'm gonna pursue this career path!!” on the contrary #i feel like if i became a therapist it'd be a moral failing on my end because of how much i've hated this system #if i became a therapist i would hate every minute of it for numerous different reasons #it's saying a lot to say ive never once considered becoming a therapist when i consider everything else from animation to archaeology #also when i say i have “low empathy” i don't mean “oh i can feel empathy in multiple situations it's just a very minor amount” i mean #that it's rare for me to have empathy. i cannot even reliably experience empathy with my ep or fp and when i do it's usually very minor #i'd be better suited as a brain surgeon before being in charge of somebody's mental health 💀💀💀

I'm pretty much done with TOH lol.

A braver and more energetic soul can try giving this show a constructive critique... because I will actually, wholeheartedly lose my humanity while writing out the script.

There is like... a problem this show has that permeates the whole thing: It says its going to do one thing, but then does something completely different. Like how the first two episodes of the series make you believe Luz is going to learn how her inability to separate fantasy from reality is actually inhibiting her growth as a person... only to make her a chosen one and to give her everything she ever wanted without Luz changing the way she treats people.

#TOH critical #Reaching Out is my most hated ep along with the series finale bc of how guiltrippy Luz is in RO #Oh yeah Amity i know you have a very valid reason for hating me rn bc its my fault your abusive dad found out you skipped tryouts...#...but you cant be mad at me bc my dad died on your special day. Also I am jealous of you for having an Alive Dad #even tho i know your father is a horrible person and treats you like dogshit lol.#i can never forgive them for lobotomizing Amity's character #like Luz can lie to her face repeatedly and she'll be like... this is fine im sure it wont happen again...#still crazy to me how Amity gets the female love interest treatment you see with m/f ships... how could you do this to her #i want to see the Amity who actually had a spine and was willing to kill to achieve her goals #but no she gets reduced to ''bad but sad girl''... and i start fighting and killing

thinking about how ivypool thought dovewing got favoritism from the clan growing up and continued to enforce the idea that dove was an entitled bitch, and then she participated when the clan was manipulating and guilt tripping dovewing into a relationship with an entitled creep who didnt respect her, telling her she owed him affection

i’m always mad because even from a very young age in elementary school, teachers never liked me no matter what i did or how hard i tried to be a good student and do good work. i guess i just have an off-putting vibe or something or maybe i’ve always been too reserved and people don’t like that??? but you would have thought i’d have been a teacher’s pet all the way through high school with how much i toed the line and just tried to do well and stay out of trouble. but no!! nobody has ever been on my side, for some reason that seems inherent, i can get certain types of people to tolerate or even like me but never enough for them to really root for me or want to advocate for me and i’m not good enough at anything to be successful through skill alone so i guess i’m just fucked forever. which obviously sucks on a personal level but i also think the system is broken if you need to be “likable” to be successful or even just to have a fair shot at a livable career

#anyway that last post made me think about this #but i’ve just been feeling so unsupported lately also #especially because i feel like no one particularly likes me at work #and i definitely feel like there’s some special treatment going on :/#it’s annoying too because i also can’t just phone it in because people don’t like me #i can’t start being confrontational and angry everywhere because people don’t like me #i can’t really do anything about it without 1) figuring out exactly what makes me unlikable and 2) changing my whole personality apparently #i just hate everything and everyone so much i’m so sick of this shit
