LOLLL I'VE ACTUALLY BEEN A FAN OF ANCIENT MAGUS' BRIDE since like... idk... high school? I think I reread the manga maybe half a year ago and I decided to check out the anime after a conversation with kitsoa about how witch hat atelier might be adapted into animation and she mentioned the lighting and effects in ancient magus' bride and honestly it was really great! they definitely cut a lot out to make the anime work but I think they did such a good job paring it down. all the loose ends were wrapped up etc. etc.

I think if the tag were more populated I'd probably have become more invested in it but unfortunately the elias hornyposting is not really doing it for me. I actually really wanted to make fanart for it at one point but then I chickened out because I was like "idk man... does anyone even care abt them..." (I have a soft spot for the spider girl and the gorgon guy in the college arc... I forget their names but you know what I'm talking about.)

I've only watched the first season because when I was reading it I kinda lost the plot halfway through the college arc and like. I know I won't understand it if I just have it in the corner of my screen as I draw LMAO

The thing that stood out most to me in the anime is the sound design and music... that shit's crazy... you know how in hbomb's patho video he talks about how well maybe sometimes video games aren't supposed to be fun. maybe sometimes they're supposed to convey futility and your lack of control. and I think this is exactly how I feel about the magus bride soundtrack (at least some of it)

There are very few songs I would listen to from the soundtrack just on my own BUT it all works extremely well in context. sometimes the music is tickling you in an uncomfortable way at the base of your neck and that's exactly what it's supposed to do. it's so good at conveying the feeling of something uncanny and not quite right

and YES the takayama chise parallels... ohhh you want to save people so bad to the point of hurting yourself... taking kamoda's shot from him is SO chisecore of him tbh. personally I've always seen elias as closer to takayama than chise in the sense that the only version of himself he's ever really known was something that wasn't quite here nor there. but I do think takayama and elias have character arcs that go in different directions. elias "then I've got to stop being a monster" ainsworth versus takayama "ascent into christhood" sou etc. etc. (I guess elias's arc is more similar to souji from kekkaishi's, huh...?)

uh I do have to say that I really enjoy that chise is suffering consequences from her actions though. like you know I think takayama should suffer consequences more I think that would be interesting. like everything just slides off him and that's very takayama but I think it would be fun. you know. if he got thrown down the plinko once in a while. like now that you've pointed this out I DO have a longing for takayama coughing up blood etc. but then again birdmen was never about limits, it was about the lack thereof so I guess that's understandable... ah...

I think it's so funny the overlap between birdmen fans and magus bride fans... the liminal space between being human and inhuman brings all the boys to the yard or whatever

My apologies once again for the long delay. Thank you for the question -- you are helping to keep the fandom active!

Some of my headcanons below might be repeats, but that's just because I like them that much. I went with five for now.

ONE: Tae loves that Hijikata is making a legit effort to talk to Shinpachi, even if it's just commenting on the weather or a greeting when passing each other on the streets. Of course, Hijikata does it with a very non-expressive tone, almost as if it's an operation he must daily conduct -- and he does it for Tae's sake because he knows how close they are and how important it is to her that he get along with her brother. It weirds Shinpachi out for quite a while, but he tries to engage in more conversation with Hijikata, who feels awkward to discuss anything past battle strategy or mayonnaise. But they do seem to bond over discussing how to run their respective organizations (Shinpachi's is the Otsuu Fan Club, naturally), even if they bicker about what methods are best. Seeing them talk to each other makes Tae happy, and that's what Hijikata cares about the most.

TWO: Speaking of mayonnaise, Tae at first finds Hijikata's mayo obsession eccentric, although not any stranger than other people's habits and obsessions within her social circle. Gradually, it becomes less eccentric to her and more of a thing she finds cute and adores him for. It inspires her to not only keep mayonnaise well-stocked at home but also to learn new recipes that include mayonnaise. This is what helps to improve her cooking skills, although her signature style still prevails now and then. Luckily, Hijikata builds up an immunity because he always uses mayonnaise on the meals that come out questionable. As a result, mayonnaise becomes a symbol of love between them that nobody else can understand. Tae is pleased that he's one of the extreme few who won't complain about her cooking, and Hijikata feels he's in paradise with her adding mayonnaise to the menu on the regular.

THREE: In a Dekobokko-ish AU where their genders are reversed, Tae becomes Taichi and Hijikata becomes Tenko. One of the things I wished I could've seen from the original arc was Tae's male counterpart (fortunately, there's some great fanart of the possibilities).

Anyway, Taichi works at a host club where he’s a popular “samurai era” host request; of course, he’s working to save enough money to rebuild the dojo and support his younger sister, Pachie. Goriko always drags Tenko along for a night out with Goriko, naturally, crushing on Taichi. Tenko doesn’t understand Goriko or the host club world, and is only there to make sure Goriko doesn’t drink too much or get into some kind of mishap. Taichi usually rebuffs Goriko’s attempts at flirting and asking Taichi out, finding that she comes on too strong. Instead, Taichi finds himself interested in Goriko’s friend, who keeps coming to the club despite having a clear distaste for his line of work. Tenko, who is used to being mocked for her weight and her strait-laced attitude, is confused by Taichi’s courteous ways to her despite having a sharp tongue when they argue about Goriko. Taichi likes Tenko’s skill with a sword and finds her aloof attitude charming. Tenko reluctantly admits Taichi isn’t a bad guy and commends his desire to keep swordsmanship alive in the new era.

Anyway, this and that happens, and Taichi and Tenko end up together and live happily ever after! Tenko marries into the Shimura family and becomes an instructor at the dojo, balancing that and her law enforcement career. Taichi successfully restores the dojo, quits his host club job, and becomes the dojo master. Eventually, they have a daughter named Tomoko (you know, instead of a son named Togoro, haha).

FOUR: Back to the regular universe for this one. Hijikata changes his patrol schedule to nights when Tae is working a late shift. He’s not always available to walk her home, but he feels better knowing that he’s awake around the same time just in the interest of her safety at night, even if he knows she has taken care of herself for a long time. Tae doesn’t mind; she feels happy that he cares so much. Sometimes their schedules differ, and she worries about him, too, when he’s called to dangerous cases or operations. She keeps herself busy during those times until she hears back from him, and only then will she breathe a sigh of relief.

FIVE: They often talk late at night, whether it’s while walking home from work, on the phone, or when neither is working and Hijikata just drops in, and they’ll talk quietly – about their day, about the future, about anything. Hijikata isn’t used to such private conversation with someone like this, but he finds it relaxing and starts getting used to such a routine. Tae loves it because it feels like she can really connect with him, that they are growing closer. It’s more intimate, free from prying eyes and gossip. Hijikata grows more comfortable with physical affection, and Tae feels elated over knowing this side of him that no one else can see. On one such nights, under the moonlight, they share their first kiss. Eventually, Tae doesn’t want him to go and Hijikata doesn’t want to leave.

I felt kind of sappy in writing some of these headcanon ideas, but who cares – fanfic, headcanons, and fanart is largely about self-indulgence, lol. Anyway, hope you enjoyed them!

I swear I would write a longer response for them but I really wouldn't be saying anything I haven't already said and I don't want to annoy anyone.

Kenny - I just like the idea of Imp Tweek x Angel Kenny! I think the main reason I like Twenny so much is because of the content they get. I think it's the second most popular ship for Tweek, number one being Creek of course. It gets a lot of cool artwork and interesting fanfics. Like the idea of Tweek knowing that Kenny dies is just so perfect, same thing with them both being insane together. They get cute content but they have so much potential to have angsty content and I love angst which is probably another reason I like the ship so much.

Clyde - I LOVE Twyde. Tweek and Clyde are two of my favorite characters so just like with Steek, I just have to ship them together. I'd have to think harder on the dynamic they'd have together but all I know so far is that it involves Clyde being a dumbass. I guess I can see Tweek being really sympathetic towards Clyde since he's easily upset because he's sensitive and knows what it's like when people tell him he's over-reacting. I don't know, I've seen people say that they think Twyde work because Tweek would find Clyde's constant crying annoying but if he found it annoying then he'd really just be a hypocrite lol. I really like ever Twyde fic I've ever read where they're the main focus but for the most part the ship is either a side paring or is just used as a plot device for some other ship. Plus I see a lot of Tweek cheating on Craig with Clyde and I just don't like cheating fics. They have cute fanart too and just like with Twenny and Steek can be a angsty ship and a cute ship which is exactly what I look for in a ship.

Craig - I like Creek. I used to really like it, LOVE it when I first joined the fandom but after a few months my interest for it peaked and then slowly started going down. My main problem with the ship is that I feel like it prevents people from seeing Tweek and Craig as individuals (and I know I'm not the only one who agrees). I'm a huge Tweek fan, he's my favorite, but I can barely ever find any content that's just him. Same thing with Craig, they are just the other half to someone which is boring. Plus Creek content seems to be pretty repetitive and redundant. It's not really even about the badass Craig x weak Tweek thing, although that's a large part of it. I just think that because Creek is such a popular ship that it makes it so a lot of the content created for it is the same. There's nothing wrong with reading a fic or seeing a piece of artwork and wanting to put your own spin on it, at least in my opinion. And it's kind of weird in my case because while I don't mind reading the same old Creek high school AU in different words, at the same time it is frustrating to see the same old thing. And this isn't the case with every story, I've read amazing Creek stories that aren't just slice of life stories (even though I do love those) but most of the time it's the same thing. I like some Tweek ships better than Creek because the dynamic is different and Steek, Twenny and Twyde aren't as well known or liked so it's different. Maybe I get too bored with things and I know there's people out there who will disagree with me but at the end of the day, that's what I think about Creek. It's really cute and they seem good for each other plus it's canon which is why it sits at number four for me but it's really the fandom that causes me not to like it that much.

Cartman - I actually really do like Tweek x Cartman. I used to really ship them, to the point where Cartman and Craig would have their places switched but just like with Creek, my love for the ship died down after a while, just not for the same reasons. Now I just really like the idea of them being friends. I feel like Cartman seemed to generally like Tweek, like he wasn't any meaner to him then he was to Stan, Kyle or Kenny (which says something in my mind) and they would have such a cool dynamic together. They also may have some things in common like a love for animals and singing. Plus they're both crazy! I know I wrote a whole post about how I ship them but I feel like it's just flawed now. Plus the only Cartman ships I really like are Candy, Kyman and Cutters and back then when I wrote that post I was a huge Cartman multi-shipper. I'm not like that anymore.

Kyle - Fiesty x Fiesty! I like them as friends, not so much as lovers. I can't really think of them being in a romantic relationship but I love the idea of them being best friends. I have a headcanon that Kyle does yoga for anger management which goes along with my headcanon that Tweek and Kyle do stress/anger managment stuff together. So Tweek teaches Kyle boxing and Kyle teaches Tweek yoga. I read a fic once where Tweek did yoga with Kyle which is where that headcanon came from. I also like the idea of them not putting up with anyone's shit together and I have this one idea for Creek and Style where Craig and Stan are losers and people talk shit about them which does NOT go well when Tweek and Kyle find out about it. As for lovers, I don't know I just can't see them lasting. I think maybe if they dated for a little while it'd be cute but again, I just don't seem them lasting.

Thomas - I used to ship Twomas but I don't that much anymore. They just seem to similar to each other which makes it weird for me to ship them. I really like the idea of them being friends but when it comes to Thomas, I like the idea of him being with Craig much better! There are really cute Twomas fanfics and fanarts out there though!

Butters - I used to also really like Twutters but I don't as much anymore. Again, I think it just goes to the fact that they are really similar in my mind. They just seem like they'd be better off as friends in my mind.

Token - I like Twoken. I'm writing a WIP for them that was suggested to me which has forced me to think about them some more. I feel like they could work together and be cute but it's just not my thing I guess. I like the idea of Token being kind of fascinated by Tweek since he's so erratic and kind of the opposite of him. I like introvert x extrovert ships a lot and Token seems like an introvert while Tweek seems like an extrovert. They have potential and it'd be cool if more people made content for them!

Jimmy - I just don't ship it, I think they'd be good friends but not lovers.

This ask has made me come to the conclusion that I'm not as much as a Tweek multi-shipper as I have claimed to be. I like other Tweek ships besides these, I really like Twole, Twete and Twason but Christophe, Pete and Jason weren't on the ask so I won't write anything about them.

Not to continue to have thoughts about CritRole's handling of fanart going forward, but no longer trawling the tags for fanart and only populating the gallery through submissions, I think, is a very good move.

As Rachel writes, "As the fan art community has grown and spread across platforms, we’ve found this process has become a bit complicated and unreliable." And this is true. Both the reel and the gallery have been a MASSIVE popularity contest because the art that is most visible in the tags, i.e. most discoverable, are those that are popular on Tumblr and Twitter. (Really, I've felt constantly that the reel and the gallery is stuff I've already seen through the work's popularity, as someone who keeps abreast of the community on both platforms.)

It also protects them from legal liability and accusations of theft by simply them existing in the space. It's been WILD to be they've been openly checking the tags for that reason. Honestly, people have complained about them being active in fandom space (a memory about Liam having followed a bang or something on Twitter upsetting people comes up), so maybe this will quell those anxieties too.

As acknowledged in the update, it is an extra step and that's inconvenient—but paring down to only submissions makes it a much more equitable process, allowing them to look at art without having to work through algorithms of popularity, and it is indeed, as the update writes, a LOT easier to credit artists properly when there is a submission form.

But, they do still encourage using the #CriticalRoleFanart tags for our own purposes, and it does serve us as a community well, so I think that's also a good idea.

Bokuto finished changing after his shower and plopped next to you on your shared bed. You looked up from your phone and saw how messy Bo’s hair was. You sighed and pushed his hair back, giving it a slicked-back look then resting your hand on Bokuto’s cheek. Bokuto turned his head so that he could kiss your palm and nuzzle into your hand. So you went and sat behind kenma quietly. He was eyeing you while trying to focus on the TV. Not saying anything as you wrapped your legs around his torso and gave him a kiss then went it for the kill. Kenma hated it when people touched his hair. So he was lowkey shook when you dug your fingers in his hair. He let out a squeak and Kuroo asked what that sound was. Turning around kenma glared at you, “that was Y/N.” It took everything in you not to laugh. Sneaky brat… Kenma thought to himself as he continued gaming. Not bothering to mute himself and tell you something, he let you do as you please wanting to know how this was going to go. You sat there happy as ever that Kenma wasn’t swatting away your hand this time. Eventually, he started relaxing and leaning back into you. When the boys ended the game Kenma took off his headset and turned to look at you. You guys started goofing off and even decided to go to McDonald’s at night while wearing your formal clothing and took pictures. It was definitely a day to remember.

On that note I was wondering if you could help me with somthing,I'm designing a hero costume for my character ,she's a Muslim girl who wears a hijab,and I want to make sure I properly dress her so she looks modest,her ability is to wish grant but her outfit needs to have a lot if room and space to more around in and I was thinking a skirt would be less practical in combat ,any tips or hints? I was originally thinking paring leggings with shorts but then again I'm not sure if that woukd be okay- its okay if you can't help I just need pointers lol :)

I mean, I’m not actually Muslim so I’m not actually an authority on this or anything, I just like character diversity. My Nejire fanart did involve a skirt, as well as I think some poofy pants? I tried to lean into a fairy motif, because I know Nejire really likes fairies, and likes the idea of being a fairy.

I do know that the whole purpose of the hijab/modesty thing is to hide the body to free the mind, sort of like being anonymous on tumblr.

If you keep that in mind, and do your best to dress your character the way she personally would want to be presented, I say go for it. It’s the individual’s decision, how they want to dress. Many Muslim women don’t even wear hijabs, because it’s a personal decision. I’ve seen Muslim women walking around my town wearing all sorts of fashions, from gorgeous intricate dresses to sleek sporty jumpsuits to plain old jeans and a t-shirt to the all-out hot topic schoolgirl punk goth look. I’ve also seen the leggings+shorts look, so you’re PROBABLY fine. People are people, no matter the culture, and they’re gonna dress however they want. It’s kinda awesome

If it’s practicality you’re worried about, I’d say take a look at what Muslim athletes in real life wear, and design from there! References are always gonna be your friend

In the interest of making some arts easier to find I’ve considered tagging by content a bit more. I’ve already decided to add the tag OBHZF (one big happy zaunite family) for art that portrays them as a blended family. 

I’m debating whether I should tag smutty art as well as art that shows hugs, but I’m a bit nervous with the whole thing about tumblr banning certain tags, which means that tagging them “sexy”, “sweet”, “awwww” or “nsfw” or something like that probably isn’t going to work. 

I’m contemplating “Vander gives the best hugs” for Silco x Vander hugs and “Zaunites give the best hugs” for art that portrays other hugs. Maybe “so kiss me” for art that shows kisses? But I’m a bit stumped what I should tag the spicy arts without tumblr catching it. Any ideas? 

The other thing I wanted to ask the community: would you like a separate tag for the young/pre-betrayal Vander and Silco and one for their more middle-aged selves (to be used in addition to the ship tags)? if yes, any suggestions on what the different tags could be? I’ve seen people use dog/hound & rat in twitter iconography, but I feel that could still refer to both versions. Revolution bros? Or am I just overthinking it and there is no demand for it anyway?

APRIL IN JEJU

It's been 7 months since you've parted ways with your first love. You two were the supposed high school sweethearts of your year so it confused most of the other students when they found out. Renjun and you were meant for one another but the fact he decided on attending SKKU since had received a scholarship for his outstanding academic records, he couldn't turn down the offer and was determined on enrolling however you were attending Cheju Halla University which was all the way in Jeju City. That was a 55-minute plane ride away from Renjun! Avoiding the future relationship problems to come from long-distance you two would most likely face, the breakup was mutual and you two parted ways at the airport indulging in a rather pitiful hug.

Here you were, walking through the Department of Equine Science, trailing behind your friends Soomin and Mina. It was the first time you decided to skip class and it was thrilling in your opinion, "Come on, they're waiting!" Soomin whisper-yelled. They?

You make sure to ask her who 'they' were since you and Mina weren't standing dumbfounded and possibly in trouble. "The volleyball team dummy," Soomin says skipping to past the classrooms into Gym A. It brought you back to the old times, visiting Renjun during Soccer practice, making sure he's well-fed and not overworked. Quickly snapping out of it you join the girls on the bleachers to cheer on the boys. Although you are able to tell people you've moved on from your first love, you've spent restless nights looking back at your messages, pictures just reminiscing the past.

The butterflies he's caused you still flutter every now and then hoping their commotion was heard and you've finally made the big move back to Seoul but sadly you haven't gotten up and gone yet.

Tonight you were preparing for a mini-quiz, it so happened that Mina shared the class with you. Scheduling a sleepover at Soomin's place here you all are sitting in her living room stuffing your faces with whatever salty and sweet treats her mom had bought. "Oh. My. God." Mina tells you after reading your DM request on Instagram, "What?" you ask confused over what she thought was so extraordinary. She motions Soomin to look at your earning a surprised what the fuck from the girl. "Min-fucking-Ho wants to DM you... He's like one of the hottest guys in our division and has never been seen with a girl so wanting to text you definitely a what the fuck moment. You shake your head before opening the DM request..."He's asking me out for dinner?" You say which Soomin demands you to accept the offer before he moves on. "You've gotta move on from Renjun you know? He won't come by swooping you by the legs asking you for his hand in marriage. He's all the way in Seoul Y/n, I'm pretty sure he's moved on by now with someone else it's time you do too. Now hand e your phone so I can tell him you want to go on that date." Mina tells you after you attempt to reject Minho. She gave you the truth even if it hurt (a lot), you sigh in defeat handing over your phone.

"Can't believe you're going on a date with Minho," Soomin says watching Mina type away. "I know right, lucky girl" Mina replies as you nod. 

APRIL IN SEOUL

Meanwhile, at SKKU Renjun's majoring in Arts & humanities. Languages, Literature & Linguistics which has been taking up most of his time keeping his mind off his recent split. He was devastated the first week but had to obviously push it aside if he wanted extraordinary marks just like in high school, even if he wanted his thoughts to be occupied with your figure in his head he simply couldn't know his classes were paying attention to him along with the other honor students that attended on a scholarship.

"Is that your girlfriend?" Jeno, Renjun's only friend at Sungkyunkwan asked. He's got to know Renjun for who he was today but he's never really opened up about his life before University. Jeno noticed Renjun staring at your recent Instagram post for a little too long to not think you were at least flirting in direct messages. "No," He said quick and panicky before shoving his phone back into his pocket, after relaxing he turns to Jeno. "She's my ex, we broke up 7 months ago." Jeno's mouth goes agape momentarily in realization, "Why? If you don't mind me asking..." He asked the smaller boy beside him. "She went to Jeju for University when SKKU was just a 20-minute train ride from our neighborhood," Renjun replied with a scoff recollecting the memory of the day you told him you got accepted into Cheju Halla. Jeno nods understandingly deciding to continue studying instead of riling him up.

JULY IN JEJU

A full three months have passed and you were still in the first place you were in back in April, heartbroken. Although a lot of things have drastically changed since April it had only made you feel worse about yourself. For starters, you've been 'dating' Minho since April even if you realized on the first date he had only wanted you to fulfil his sexual desires. He's strung his act long enough and you've tried breaking up with the boy for a month now but he won't let you, he's always threatening you "I'll tell the school what type of whore you are."  or something about inflicting pain on someone close to you like Soomin or Mina, which is why you've kept quiet for about the last three weeks.

You were in pulled harshly by the arm by Minho as he pulled you into the supply closet of the Gymnasium, “Minho, I don’t want you to touch me there,” You politely ask the boy who’s currently taking advantage of his supposed spouse. “I don’t even want to date you! Why do you keep acting like this- Let go!” You whisper-yell to Minho who’s trailing his hands up and in between your thighs. "Shut up," He simply tells you before snaking his hand to your mouth shutting you up as you let out a choked cry.

JULY IN SEOUL

"She looks so happy with that Minho, right?” Renjun asked Jeno, scrolling through your tagged post. “I mean from what we know yeah,” He tells him. Renjun sighs, he knew he would genuinely be happy for you if you moved on but it had seemed rather quick. "It's almost been a year, she's moved on. Why don't you?" Jeno asked innocently. Renjun had a gut feeling of some sort; telling him not to move on and instead of ignoring it like you (which brought you nowhere since you're still deeply in love with him) did he's just kept a close eye on you. Shaking his head no he tells Jeno, "Something isn't right about.." He lifts the  phone to the photo of you and Minho, Mina had tagged you in, "That."

DECEMBER IN JEJU

"I promise I'll text you, I just need to get off this freaking island for winter break at least." You tell Mina and Soomin on Face-time, "Okay we will miss you! How did Minho take this? It's your first Christmas together and you leave?" She asked worriedly. You mumble a fuck before looking at the camera. "I didn't tell him," You say earning gasps from the two. "He's your boyfriend though.." Soomin said; "Who doesn't treat me like a fucking human being." Your words were strong, rippling a wave of awkwardness, "I'm fine by the way I’m staying with my cousin Jaemin, but if I don't come back it’s cause he spoilt me into staying."

DECEMBER IN SEOUL

"Merry Almost Christmas!" Renjun screeches before entering his shared apart with his new friend group, Jeno had introduced Renjun to his best pal, Jaemin and Renjun had taken in a very lonely Haechan later introducing him to the two. Today they were all celebrating their first Christmas together with a classic holiday film and cupcakes every day until Christmas.

"Guys we have a guest today!" Jaemin sings opening the door widely to show a shorter girl beside the boy with a suitcase in hand.

"What are you doing here?" Renjun and you said simultaneously as you locked eye contact. "I'm visiting Jaemin, my cousin." You tell him hands moving into the air to point towards the boy, "I am Jaemin's roommate." He responded before getting up from the couch brushing off the crumbs off his lap before walking towards the door to stand in front of you. He hadn't grown any taller still rocking his tiny 5'7 figure, but tall enough to tower over you, who hadn't grown since freshman year.

"She's here." Jeno tells Renjun who's head is under the pillow, "She's here." Jeno repeats, "She's here, She's here," Renjun whispered to himself taking it all in. He always wished for you to get off the fucking island go back into his arms, transferring to SKKU, knowing you had the skill to land a spot without hesitation, but finally seeing you after 10 months of no contact was frightening to him. Why did you seem so brittle? You looked pained, it wasn't his job to care about you anymore, but he couldn't help himself. He loved you more than himself and there's a (humongous) chunk of him that still did. Renjun gets up and sits crisscrossed on the single bed across from Jeno's bed where he was idling on his phone laying down "She's here but she's not here." He said which caught Jeno's attention, his face wrinkling in confusion. "She's not okay, something's wrong. I know it," He finishes getting up to walk out to you- who's catching up with Jaemin in the kitchen while preparing for dinner, stopping immediately as a rush of nerves came over him telling him to stop.

"Hope you boys like Hotteok!" You said facing Jeno and Haechan who were smiling in awe of your cooking skills, "I know Injun and Jaems like it so I made it tonight." You cheerfully smile towards the other two boys. “Glad to see you remembered,” It took a lot for Renjun to even say a sentence to you without having a gaze on you for a little too long afterwards.

It was his chance, he walked out of the bedroom the moment he saw you walk by his door towards the guest room. "Can I come in?" He asked. "Of course Injun," You couldn't believe yourself, being so calm and comfortable with all the tension. Had it really been ten months? He thought to himself as he sat beside you on the bed. "So," He rubbed his thighs nervously "How've you been?" Horrible. You stare down at the carpet admiring it while you figure a way to lie to the boy who knew you better than you knew yourself. "Fine,  I've been..." You sigh avoiding eye contact, "Fine." He looks at you concerned, "You can't lie to me Y/n." Grabbing your hand caressing it for a second knowing it relaxed you a bit in tough scenarios. Suddenly your phone began to ring, grabbing to read the caller id. "Oh, should I go?" Renjun asked after reading the contact name 'Minho' "No!" You shouted quickly grabbed his wrist pulling him back down before he walked out. Declining the call you spoke, "I'd talk to you over anyone any day." Damn, when did I get so smooth You mentally note that smirking to yourself slightly watching as Renjun bursted into a frenzy of laughter, "Smooth," He comments.

"So, was that Minho guy...your boyfriend?" He asked in which you replied with a strong No. "Well," You started "A boyfriend is someone who listens to me someone who values my opinions and beliefs. Someone who is truly interested in what you enjoy doing, or what you like most in life and interested in who I am as a person." You pause to see him grab you hand intertwining your hand, quickly signalling you to continue. "Someone who makes me laugh, or trusts me. But more importantly, disrespect me and force me into," Tears collected in your eyes threatening to fall, "Things." Renjun knows what to do to comfort you quickly pulling you into his embrace, melting when you wrap around him, head in the crook of his neck sobbing quietly. "He made me do things Renjun-ah. Horrible things. I hate him so much, I can't break up with him. Figured running away would've been a better option." He strokes your hair telling you it's okay and to relax. He couldn't help but smile though; he was right. He knew, he knew something was off and made it his number one priority to find out what it was, who would've known you would open up and make your first actual conversation with your ex- whom you dated for a nearly all of senior year about the toxic relationship you found yourself in after him.

JANUARY IN SEOUL

"I got to leave tomorrow." You told Renjun, whom you rekindled an old flame with over your stay. C

"Do you think about me sometimes? 'Cause I think about you sometimes" You asked Renjun looking at him from the mirror, as he watched you do your hair for an outing with your cousin. After that night in your bedroom, you decided on hanging out more and became close friends once more. But the butterflies in your stomach didn't leave, instead, they emitted flying more enthusiastically near him, with him. "I don't think about you sometimes 'Cause I think about you all the time," He said, which made you look down to the floor before turning around to face him. "It made me so jealous knowing you were so far away with that disgusting bastard happy without me" He grabs your hand; which you intertwine your fingers with happily a smile dancing upon your lips watching him reciprocate it.

"Stay." He tells you. You cuddle into his embrace as he caressed the top of your head. The two of your legs entangled under the sheets having one of your midnight talks. "You know I can't," You start quickly zipping your mouth not wanting to go any further, "Students who have outstanding academic records, or who have financial difficulties, who have submitted a complete scholarship application," Renjun said, which just made your jaw drop. Did he do his research?  "You can still enroll for the second semester which starts in two weeks. Have your friends send your belongings." He finished watching as you lifted yourself up resting your head in your palm. "Really?" You asked, breath taken away to say more. Could you really live here in Seoul? With Renjun? "Yes, I can kick Jeno into the guest room while we can have this room all to ourselves." He kissed the top of your hand watching the cheeky smile erupt from you with giggles. "We can be together." You said- asked to yourself, "We can be together" Renjun tells you before pulling you back.

The dreaded Multi-shipper

Yes, I am one of those horrible Multi-shipper people. I like multiple ships in the same fandom and I’m not afraid to say it. It’s not that I don’t have OTP’s per say it’s that those OTP’s are just the favorite pairing, not the only pairing I like in whatever particular fandom they happen to be in. Yes that means that I like pairings that include one or the other of my OTP’s participants.  I like imagining multiple choice romances.. How would this character be with this character? What about this one? All of these guys are hella pretty, so how about this paring? or how about a trio(or more maybe)?   My current obsession is the DBD fandom.  And I consider Harrifield (Steve x Dwight) to be my current OTP in that fandom. But I like lots of other parings in that fandom.

Kingfield (David x Dwight) -  Currently the most popular pairing and I really like the dynamic between the two characters. Kingsmith (David x Quentin) -  The burly buff guy with the haunted insomniac very compelling. Viking (Ace x David)- I like the idea of David being the younger one here, sure he’s more the muscle but Ace is the more experienced guy who uses his wits to get David out of trouble. Dwake (Jake X Dwight) The classic pair, the two original survivors together is interesting because of the idea that the two have a longer history together cause they have been in the fog together for a while and Moody Quiet Jake with Nerd Dwight is adorable.  Smithfield (Quentin X Dwight) I like that this dynamic tends to favor Dwight as a more protective type. Is there a ship name? Morriking? (Frank x David) This one makes a lot of sense if you see David as the darkest of the survivors. Killer pairings mess with my head, on one hand they are killers so horrible people. But I am also a sucker for a good love redeems all narrative.  Morrismith?-Morripark? etc (Frank x Quentin, Frank X Jake etc..) Frank and his edgy aesthetic kind of makes him fun to pair with survivors. It’s all about the Beauty and the Beast type narrative. Where he’s done all these horrible things but falls in love and softens up a little bit. I know it’s not really healthy because real life barely works like that. But that’s why it’s a fantasy I guess.  Jayers (Michael X Jake) I am going to be completely honest here, this one? it’s all about the fan art and the hotness of it. Like this relationship should mostly be seen as unhealthy. Michael isn’t really a good guy. Unlike Frank I have a harder time imagining Michael going through a redemption of sorts.  But you all thirsty and I can’t blame you there is something strangely fascinating about this pairing. Though I confused as why Jake was the one the community seemed to glom onto to so hard to pair with Michael.  Etc (Other pairings) I like other pairings too but mostly in a novelty type of way like Tapp X Ace or Dwight x Ash etc...  It’s interesting in a thought exercise kind of way.  I do really like the idea of trios and the like as well,  someone make me some David x Dwight x Steve fanart stat lol... Those are my thoughts pouring out of my head at the moment, share with me your thoughts.

My thoughts on ships

Alright, imma gonna go ahead and just state this incase it comes up later, so I can just reference this. I am multi-shipper, which means I like and appreciate all ships both cannon and fan-made; as long as long they make sense or it fits. Which can still change based on some things people of shipments make, it takes time but more often than not I'll come around to shipping them too.

Dark (there's a limit to far it can go, before I draw the line. No matter what I say to myself I'll get defensive over a character and want to protect them)

Like wanda and vision, it worked better in the comics than on screen; though you can see her pain was very real. Now Alya and Raizar that worked, and it was beautiful cause we could see it happening.)

Oh and of course, the slow-burn (I prefer seeing the growth and pain in a story of how they fell in love. If it's already established, or their feelings are already acknowledged for each other and just need that extra push to actually be together, and that's fine.)

Now why did I make this list, easy I don't do ship wars and I will reblog fanart of various ships of the same character. I will do the minimal research of fanwork of parings like: fanfiction, artwork, animation/videos, and short fan comics. Though I'm keeping this blog, PG-14 so....yeah.

I’ve been going through my facebook suggested friends list and I was struck by how... distinct the categories were. And how odd. I really wish it would just let me disappear people once and for all, because it feels like it is always trying to get me to add the same people. Or maybe it’s not the same people but it always seems to come up with so many. The first category was... people I have so many mutual friends with. But just because I have 32 friends i common with someone, doesn’t mean I know them. My year at med school had over 300 people in it, and I’m a faceblind introvert who minds her own business. There is no way I have had meaningful interactions with all these people, no matter how many mutual friends we have. Medicine, in particular is a small world, and we all know a lot of people, but I don’t see why I should add every person I shared a lecture theatre with, or shared a hospital with. I’m so glad that I block people I stop talking to, because I can foresee lots of now-defriended exes being recommended to people purely because of mutual friends. I can see why their algorithm would assume I must know these people, or even be very close with them, but the’res a difference between ‘these friends all hang out and therefore probably know each other’ and ‘these 40 people work or go to university together, so they’ll all want to ‘friend’ each other. Sometimes I really have no clue who these people are. Most of the time, actually. Occasionally, I do, but I know them so little that I might as well not know them at all. There are a lot of not-particularly-close-friends’ siblings, cousins, partners whoI have never met, and may never do so. And parents, though friends’ parents tend to the the kinds of people who love to add you on facebook, and you can’t say no because you do think they are OK but this is all sort of a bit weird.  Even if it’s a close friend, I may I love my friend and know their sister, doesn’t mean I need their grandmother or aunt or friend I’ve never met, on my facebook. Maybe we’ve met a few times, and they are a friend of a friend, but we’re not really close and I can’t imagine they need to see my hilarious museum photos ported from instagram. Sometimes it’s other people’s partners - who I’ve never met, even if we do have friends in common. I can’t really see any good coming of me adding everyone’s husbands who I don’t even know, no matter if we have a few mutuals. I’m fairly sure most people I know aren’t that weird kind of possessive jealous partner who vets their partner’s FB friendlist, but I can imagine that in friend circles things might get awkward. That reminds me of the threatened dating app feature of facebook; particulary the ‘crushes’ element where people can nominate people they know. Given that  if you’re a grownup avoiding confessing your feelings, it’s probably for a reason, it just seems really ill-thought out. And even if you are going to have an affair, it probably shouldn’t be conducted on social media sites with a patchy privacy history. It’s all just deeply weird and I hope facebook doesn’t try to integrate whatever they are planning in any intrusive fashion. There are also people I know but I’m not adding for a reason; people I don’t like, people I used to like but it wasn’t reciprocated, people I’ve had beef with and are now no longer in my life, and anyone who I might have gotten to know through them. The most awkward of these is an ex-friend’s current girlfriend. I’ve met them, and I’m sure they are a lovely person, but I really think that’d be more drama than I could handle. Others are just people I thought were OK, but just never gelled with well enough to let them in on my life. Or people who seemed OK in university, but after years of not really talking, there’s just... not much to say? To be honest, I’ve been having the strong urge to go on a bit of a social media cull and just... quietly restrict my circle to people who are meaningful to my life right now. I’ve been resisting, but really, I do want to pare things down. I do like when it picks up friends from work, though facebook often doesn’t pick up the people I necessarily want to add, rather, it picks up the people who seem to add everyone. The people I want to add are often a bit more reserved, and I am always left wondering if I’m intruding by ‘friending’ people from work, partly because I myself am quite a private person who doesn’t want to let many people in. People rarely make the cut these days, but every once in a while I make friends that I really want to carry with me after I’ve moved hospital and changed place. I’m a bit shy when it comes to adding colleagues on Facebook; I have to feel pretty comfortable with a colleague before they make the jump to a highly curated version of my profile. And consultants? Never make the cut. You do not make friends with your boss. There’s a whole slew of older relatives I’m very deliberately not adding. They can live their own life, but I don’t particularly want to be their entertainment when it comes to the rumor mill, I am fairly sure my cousins curate their facebooks even more rigidly, for the same reasons. When I can tell you that some of my relatives are known for being both extremely talkative, nosy and blunt to the point of offensiveness, you can see why I might not want them nosing around my every post; it’d just make things less fun. There are some relatives whose suggested profles or friend requests are currently being considered, as I try to work out if my current privacy setting for relatives is restrictive enough to make me happy to add them. It’s not even like I add anything particularly controversial or salacious on facebook, I am what most people would describe as a boring person.  I just don’t feel comfortable with opening up my profile to lots of people, and I don’t want to feel self-conscious if I put something up. I could say that it’s my issue, but given that my relatives are pretty blunt (see any of my ‘why aren’t you getting married?!’ posts), my self-consiousness with relatives has a pretty obvious cause. I do however, like to use facebook to keep up with some relatives and family friends; living abroad and doing my own thing means I don’t see some people who I really care about as much as I would like to. And whilst anyone who is really close to me is actually on my Whatsapp, there’s a place for people who aren’t my best friends or immediate family in my life. If I’m honest, my facebook mainly exists for keeping up with people like that; who I care enough about that I like to know they are doing well, and that I can catch up with them once in a while, but we’re not on whatsapping terms. And also for some of my best school friends who never seemed to get the hang of regular texting or  whatsapp or even email; for some of them, these only exist to arrange meetups, where real interaction happens. Being a busy person with a horrible timetable, that is personally the opposite of how I feel, but I try to keep up with their lives as best as I can. Facebook did pick up the guy that I’m seeing; no mutual friends so I was a bit surprised at first.  I assume it uses information from instagram and Whatsapp, which we prefer because unlike facebook they allow you to conduct your love life discreetly, rather than entertaining your friends and relatives like the local panda breeding programme. We discussed ages ago that we’re both not fussed about social media, and since update each other often and spend lots of time together IRL, it wouldn’t really add anything apart from old holiday photos, embarrassingly dorky comments and likes from 15 years ago and my slightly embarrassing fanart photo albums (Oh god, don’t dump me because of terrible, terrible Naruto fanart, I’m begging you! I can change!) there’s no rush. Thinking about it, I’ve already seen his old holiday photos, so I’m good for now, thanks. Don’t get me wrong; he’s wonderful and I’d have no issue with him being on my profile, he could see what he likes and I’d be happy to be ‘connected’ to him. But there’s no privacy on facebook from your extended social circles.  We’ve reached the point where the people in our lives have heard of the person, but haven’t gotten to know them, and I feel it’d be gentler to introduce each other in each others’ lives much more fully before our friends and family start judging the person we are dating due to their truly mediocre selfies or choice of likes on facebook. I avoid having my older relatives on facebook partly because I know they’d be tittering every time I added a male friend or (heavens!) a man wrote a comment, so.. just no. I just hope he doesn’t come up as a random suggested to anyone close to me; that seems the kind of thing FB’s creepy algorithms could throw up. That’s because for me, the weirdest category of recommended friends, by far is people who I do know but have no mutuals with, and who I’ve never interacted with on social media- I don’t even have their number. We’ve never shared so much as a whatsapp message. By reasonable standards, they should not be suggested to me, and yet, here they are by some dark force I cannot understand. I can sort of see how some of my distant cousins might be picked up by Facebook’s algorithms, but FB is also giving me colleagues who it really shouldn’t know I know. I don’t ever have my place of work on FB, don’t list my location (though it might be mentioned - not geotagged - on some photos) and we have no friends in common. It’s funny that I actually quite like some of these people, so occasionally they make the jump, but I just find it weird that FB has figured out we know each other. I wonder if it’s due to geographic location? It does make me a little afraid of how good the algorithms are getting. There’s also people it thinks I know that I do not. No mutual friends. No similar geography. I assume they must be people a couple of degrees of separation from either uni friends/ colleagues or relatives, but I fail to see why facebook even tries to sell you these people. Where do they come from? Who knows. Anyhow, I’d love to hear whatever awkwardness FB is selling everyone else, or if someone actually understands their friendship algorithms.

Who was your first OTP and are they still your favourite? as a kid i remember having really, REALLY strong feelings about couples in tv shows and wondered what the fuck is wrong with me, it wasn’t until over 10 years later that i discovered what is shipping and that i’m not alone xD earliest i can recall is Bloom and that blonde dude from Winx. boy i was really hardcore shipper, had headcanons, made tattoos on my dolls with their initials, couldn’t sleep at night thinking about their relationship. they’re no longer my fave, since i’ve long forgotten about them and heiyin is my absolute fave.

Is there a ship which you wished you could get behind, but you just don’t feel them? oh yes a lot!! there are tons of really cute ships with good chemistry, that really suit each other, but i just don’t feel anything about them?? so i’m like oh yeah i like this, it’s sweet, but i don’t ship it. mostly bc they just didn’t have any romantic interaction even hinted, and usually i ship pairs that are intended to be canon. anyway the examples are idk, ships in sport animes like hq or knb, nejiten. also Sokka and Suki, Kataang.

Any ships which you surprised yourself by liking? yeah, ships where i don’t like the character or didn’t like at first. like i couldn’t stand Vorona at first, but later she was more likeable and Shizuona had such nice chemistry?? damn (and he’s my boy so i wouldn’t like just any ship) also still in drrr i reeeealy dislike Iza//ya, but with Namie (which i also dislike lol) they have such an interesting relation, like she’s the only one who can keep up with him, who’s equal in cunning schemes. that’s the only ship i can think of where i like paring but hate characters lmao

48. Do you leave reviews when you read fanfiction? Why/Why not? i liveblog whatever i think about it as i read xD otherwise i’d forget everything at the end. that is when i read Wolfy’s fic. when i read something on tumblr i write review in tags, but it’s not really vast, since i keep all weird analogies to myself this time. and generally i don’t have much to say so i keep it short.

How did you get into reading and/or writing fanfiction?can’t say i did, i don’t read it too often. i only read if it happens to show up on my dash and summary got me interested enough. i got really invested in Wolfy’s fics after he described one au, its world, the story. the more chapters i’ve read, the more i got fired up for next ones xD it’s just amazing, like i’m watching some good tier show in my head. mostly bc it’s not centered aroud the ship, but it’s the action story with slow burn in the background. hhhhng 10/10 my taste exactly 👌👌👌  i actually can’t seem to enjoy any other fanfics anymore bc it’s not the same style?? 😦

So what's up with this blog?

This is @joliemariella's undertale specific sideblog! Here I reblog neat Undertale related content I've seen, post Undertale content of my own in the form of fanart and fanfics, and also answer asks for both myself and the main characters from any of my UT fics. Q is the most popular of course, but you can read more about him further down.

Where can we read your fanfics?

Over here on my Ao3 is generally the best bet! I do recommend following me here as well, though! Not only will I post when I update, but sometimes I'll also do sneak peeks, or even tumblr exclusive stuff!

Where can we see your fanart?

Well I have a gallery over on DA, but here on tumblr is a good place too. I tend to only post finished product over on DA, but if you check the jolie arts tag here on my tumblr, you can see my sketches and various silly drawings I don't post anywhere else.

Who all can we send in asks for?

Myself, obviously, but also any of the main characters from any of my fanfics! Just don't expect reaction images for all of them, lol. Any interactions you have with these characters (and the fact that they're answering asks at all) are not canon, but any information they give you IS. Unless they're lying, which some of them are more prone to than others, heh. I'll drop a hint that they're not being entirely truthful if that is the case, though.

I sent in an ask but you haven’t answered it, what’s up?!

My ask count for this blog tends to hover right around 100 no matter how many I answer, and I’m generally pretty good about doing at least a handful every day. That said, I will not answer every ask sent in. I definitely pare them down for the sake of my sanity. Sometimes they’re just silly and not really worth the time. Sometimes they’re boring and/or Q’s already received that exact question a bunch already. Other times they were only really pertinent in the wake of another ask that got answered, and if I wasn’t able to get to it in a timely manner then I’m not going to because the context is now lost. I’ll also sometimes save some asks for later because they just require a little more thought to answer than I’m up to putting into it at the moment. Also, if you send in several around the same time, then I’m not going to just sit and answer all yours in a row, I’ll spread them out over days or weeks.

Side note, questions about the actual mechanics of how Q or his world work are almost guaranteed to get answered eventually because that was kinda the entire point of opening asks for him in the first place, heh.

Do you take prompts, suggestions, or requests?

Nope! If you want to share your headcanons or something that's cool, and I might weigh in on them, but that's as far as I'll go.

Can we write fanfic about/involving Q (or any of your other AUs/Fics)?

Please do NOT do this. While I appreciate the gesture, fanfic of my fics/characters is not something that I enjoy receiving from strangers. There are a couple of people on my extremely short list of individuals I’m ok with writing Q or my other AUs, and trust me, I’ll have straight up told you if you’re on that list.

Q FAQ

Who the hell is this 'Q' and why is he such a goddamn troll?

Q is Quarantine Sans from my Undertale AU, Machinatale, which in turn is the foundation for my fanfic 'Skeleton ex Machina'. SeM is a sister fic to @tyranttortoise amazing fic, "Skeleton Squatters and the Landlady". The very brief backstory for him can be read here. As for why he's a troll, well, lets just say life and the happenings there in have left him a bit salty with a low tolerance for bullshit.

Who else is in this world of Q's?

Everyone that made an appearance in the Undertale game with the exception of Frisk and Chara (For the why of that, read here)! There are a total of 167 souls in Q's world.

Why only 167?

As far as he's been able to discover, that was the total number of characters and killable enemies within the original game. Unfortunately, whatever happened that gave them all life has not given them the ability to create life in turn, or age. It's a phenomenon that Q is investing a great deal of time in hopes of one day giving his people the ability to procreate, and their few existing children the ability to grow up, but it's a puzzle he's yet to crack.

Just how much control does Q have over his world?

It's nigh infinite as far as he can tell, beyond his inability to create new sentience. He's the only system admin so he's able to change anything about the system. There are facets of the citizens souls that he is not able to change, however, no matter how hard he tries. Papyrus still can't cook well, for one, no matter how many cooking programs he installs. Any of the main 'sprited' characters also have trouble maintaining any sort of shift in their appearance they adopt. Unless they pay close attention to it, the programming likes to shift back to their default appearance. Any of the citizens that came from 'random encounter enemies', on the other hand, are able to maintain such changes indefinitely.

Do the monsters in Q's world have souls?

They do! They're not exactly like regular monster souls, however, since they don't technically have magic in Q's world. Read his explanation on it here, or in chapter 5 of ‘Skeleton ex Machina’!

What happened to the seven human souls?

They still exist within Q's world! Read his explanation here.

What happened to the Amalgamates?

They also still exist! A few of them have actually been saved and returned to 'normal', though the bulk of them still exist as they appeared in game. You can read more about them in chapter 2 of ‘Skeleton ex Machina’.

Wait, so why does Q talk like he's already with the Landlady when answering some asks, and like he's still pursuing her in others?

Due to the nature of this blog, Q is answering most of them from the 'present', e.g. from whatever the latest point in ‘Skeleton ex Machina’ and ‘Skeleton Squatters and the Landlady’ is. Sometimes, however, depending on the ask, he's answering from the 'future', e.g. from after the end of Skeleton Squatters and the Landlady in the timeline where he's the one that ends up with the Landlady. (For those of you that don't know, Tyrant_Tortoise is planning to write an ending for each of the main skelebros where they're the one that ends up with Lady, Q included. That way all the readers wind up happy XD).

So who's Grim?

ONLY HIS BFF BRO. Grim was created by my sister, @nighttimepixels, and you can find out more about him over on @skeletonsgrim! He's the kinkiestsweetest skeleton you'll ever meet! He and Q meet in the 'future' after Q's already settled down with the Landlady and put a ring on it cuz he liked it so much and they quickly became best friends because Q is literally one of the only people on the entire planet who can actually see Grim. For all the particulars on THAT, check out @skeletonsgrim, lol. They're best bros and work together on crazy science projects in Q's private lab.

Ah, gosh, I got way more of these than I expected. Haha. I’ll be glad to do one from Naruto! I only watched the first… eighty to ninety episodes or so of the first series a couple years ago, so I didn’t grow up with it. 

I do have a very unorthodox ship, though, that may or may not be pleasing.

So, sorry about that. 

I really enjoy… Kakashi and Sakura [ KakaSaku] . *Hides in shame.* 

Sakura would be older, obviously, but for some reason I thought this ship was super controversial and interesting. Also, again, they’re my favorites from the anime, and some part of me thought it was intriguing enough to ship.

I don’t even know why. *Shrug.* But since you asked, Anon, I’ll do the thing!

(And I’ll answer your other question at the very end. :D)

Who’s the Cuddler: Hm. I think Kakashi would actually be the cuddler in this situation. Sakura seems like the type who would be more emboldened as she grows older, and something about their dynamic makes me think that Kakashi would find it both admirable and endearing.

Who Makes the Bed: Sakura. I think that even though she’s marginally younger, even at twenty years of age or something or when or if they were ever together, she would still be the more “adult” in this context. 

With more mundane things I could picture Sakura having an almost snobbish pride in how she does these things. Making the bed would just be one of many things that she thinks she’s the best in, but… yeah she probably messes up and forgets like any other normal person. Especially if Kakashi’s more lackadaisical attitude rubs off on her.

Who Wakes Up First: Sakura. Although I could picture Kakashi getting up early on occasion too, at least before Sakura. They’re both pretty disciplined people and I could see both of their routines falling into place, though Kakashi is a lot less stern about it when it comes to his own schedule. 

(I mean, he’s constantly late to showing up to his own scheduled training sessions with Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke, so…) 

Who Has the Weird Taste in Music: This is a tough one. I’m not sure what they would listen to, but it would be pretty hilarious if Kakashi in particular had a fondness for an unexpected genre. Not sure which, though? Maybe it’s something so unorthodox that the only person who can relate to his tastes is Naruto. 

Who is More Protective: Ah, protectiveness is a quality in all the ships I like that is pretty heavily exemplified. Kakashi and Sakura are no different, though they’re more varied by comparison to others. 

Kakashi being Sakura’s teacher and knowing her well into adulthood would influence his natural protective mannerisms that we’ve seen before in the anime, despite the subtlety. Sakura would take pride in that, I think, but also be a bit oblivious to it in some ways. I could see her being very protective of anyone she loves and cares about, Kakashi not excluded. It’s a consistent string in this ship that I could see to be very legitimate.

Who Sings in the Shower: Kakashi and Sakura both sing in the shower… this just seems like it makes so much sense. Sakura would be more shameful about it, though, and more easily embarrassed when teased.

Who Cries During Movies: Sakura. Kakashi would love the opportunity to both tease her and “comfort” her both during and afterwards, though. 

Who Spends The Most While out Shopping: Ah, Sakura. I think it’s established (I could be wrong though) that she’s a bit of a spender in certain settings. Kakashi loves his dirty magazines and whatnot, but he also seems to be the type of person who comes off as a minimalist. He would spend money for Sakura on occasion, but I doubt he would be a worse spender than her.

Who Kisses More Roughly: Kakashi. Does this really need to be debated?

Who Is More Dominant: Again, Kakashi. 

My Rating Of the Ship From 1-10: When it comes to ships, especially edgier ones like this, I like to think of my context with them both in my own theoretical little world and in the canon universe itself. Since I never, ever ship my ships in-canon (except for KilluGon… and even then that’s pushing it), this result will have two ratings!

The KakaSaku ship gets an 8/10 for out of canon, and 7/10 for in-canon.

I actually have a lot of BROTPS. Like, outside of my ships… I love me some friendships and platonic awesomeness. I’m dead serious. 

Right now BNHA is the source of my BROTPS. I’m sure if I like another anime with a huge cast that has struck me as fondly as BNHA, then this will change, but… that’s a very unlikely occurrence! So, sorry for the lack of variety!

My favorite BROTP at the moment is Bakugou Katsuki & Kirishima Eijirou (followed closely by Bakugou Katsuki & Uraraka Ochako) and Izuku Midoriya & Todoroki Shouto.

So yeah! That’s it! The cast of BNHA is really big, so it’s easy to have those in that particular anime. It would take quite a long time for me to go through… say, Naruto or something, to pick that out.
