I love music
But music does not love me
It likes to ruffle my hair with musical notes
And my eyes follow as it paints the room
But my hands refuse to play a simple tune
Twisting and Writhing trying to strum the cords
My ears deaf to its wailing screams
My room distorting to match its pitchy cries
eyes watching as it dances around the room
I try to catch it as the tune flys from my brain
Grasping what little harmony i have left
I love music
But music does not love me

everything u need to know about me can actually be explained by the fact that i read that poem about the serving girl wearing the pearls so they're warm for her mistress when i was like 11 and it rewrote my brain chemistry forever

every time i feel like i haven’t done enough things to be proud of myself during the day there’s the voice of louise glück that emerges softly in my ears and says if you missed a day there’s always the next and if you missed a year it didn’t matter the hills weren’t going anywhere the thyme and rosemary kept coming back.. and i feel like life is beautiful and kind to me again

Another poem I wrote :)
Graduation
By Me (not putting my full name on tumblr)
Oh to be young
Playing in the sun
With life’s worries far away
But now with graduation
Only two years away
I don’t know what to say
I’m scared of the future
I don’t know what to do
Everythings scary and new
I have to pick a major
Find what I want to do
Oh what will I do

One day I will stop falling in love with you. Until I do, I'll be thinking of you.

A lil poem, because I like poetry :P
It's likely horrible, enjoy the cringe!
---experiment---
An experiment is taking place.
The cold corridors are empty,
The flickering light bulbs increase their steady pace.
And a loud silence falls over pristine pastel halls.
The placid pastel walls shake,
The walls shudder and quake.
A deep crack cuts through the shattering hallway.
A light, defiant and bright fills the hall through the crevice,
and the crumbling corridors are no longer cold.
