5. what made you start your blog?

believe it or not, when i first made this blog it was meant to be a sherlock holmes blog (hence the 'how absurdly simple!' blog title) !! not just any sherlock holmes content though, specifically granada holmes bc jeremy brett is the sherlock holmes and you can't convince me otherwise

but then i started reading and following a lot more IFs, which eventually lead back to me playing choices again after almost 2 years,, i started reading crimes and fell in love with trystan, but it was while reading immortal desires that i decided that i want to start posting art again here bc there was a distressing lack of cas and gabe fanart at the time!! i needed more content immediately!!!!

while this blog is not 100% a choices blog it is still a majority of what i post about here at the moment!! i'll eventually be branching out and draw fanart of other IFs that i like bc god knows there's no shortage of that, plus other media that i like as well!! (oh and cat reblogs, my blog could change drastically over time but the cat reblogs will be the one thing that stays consistent)

Thanksgiving is coming tomorrow!

Do you celebrate it? Sometimes gratitude or giving thanks to things may come off as a big and somewhat unpleasant word. It may feel as if you are forced to acknowledge something that you already love, and that kills all the joy in this type of self-care, isn’t it?

That’s why instead of asking myself “what am I most grateful for?” I instead say “what makes me the most happy?” it’s definitely okay to not come up with things that makes you happy at first, it happens to me too! But maybe you can start with something easy…like cats?

( Ik a bit too much ) and since my mom took them away I have 7:( )

2. Thinking about my cat! :3

My mom ( again ) dislikes cats a lot, and we had a cat named Simba (<333333) that I absolutely love and she decided to give him away after several threats abt killing him ( poisoning his food, abandoning him, poisoning him directlyz throwing him out of the window ( I live in the 5th floor ) ) and I have been trying to get the new owner to let me see him and its has been hard, but since now I have ( stole the number from my mom's phone but ITS FOR THE GREATER GOOD OK? ) her number I will try again :) .Thinking about how he would be in a hard time make me happy so yeah gotta include that too :D

“Look whose insistent on being absolutely difficult today?” You call out, walking into the kitchen with both two year old twins in your arms.

As Verona remains obediently still in your arms, giggling at her brother, Niccolo’s covered in splatters of mud from playing out in the garden.

“Mmmmmmmmaaaaaaa!” Niccolo throws his head back, shrieking.

“Caught red handed?” Michael sets down his coffee cup at the breakfast table. “I told you he’d get into the mud one way or another.”

“You were right.” You let out a laugh, bouncing Niccolo in your arms. “I just didn’t think he’d be able to run into that fast! Had me taking off my heels and running through the garden just to get to him while he was carrying a bell pepper in his hands too!”

“Aaaaaaaaaaaaaa!” Niccolo whines again, trying to squirm out of your arms.

“Honey, please.” You frown at him. “Could you please stay still? We’re going to wash up and—”

“Noooooooo!” Niccolo flails his little muddy arms around. “No wash!”

“Yuck.” Verona speaks out, pointing at the mud on Niccolo.

“Absolutely yuck!” You agree, out of breath. “It’s lunch time already but fussy little Niccolo here is going to need a bath immediately, so—”

“I’ve got it, honey.” Michael rises to his feet, extending his arms out to Niccolo. “Can’t keep the little princess hungry for too long.”

“Dada.” Verona beams, gladly hugging into her father’s arms.

“Thank you, baby.” You sigh in relief, “I have her mash prepared fresh just on the counter here before I had to run after this little rascal. You don’t mind feeding her, don’t you?”

“Don’t be ridiculous.” Michael holds Verona up in his arms as she holds onto her father’s shoulder. “Of course I don’t mind. Give that little mud man a good bath first.”

“And maybe one for myself.” You let out a laugh, beginning to walk towards the staircase. “Thanks baby, you’re the best.”

“So I hear.” Michael calls back out. “And save the shower for tonight, won’t you?”

You blush, holding Niccolo tightly as you head upstairs. “Will do.”

“Hi, dada.” Verona whispers.

“Hi.” Michael looks back at her. “Why are we whispering?”

“Dunno.” She giggles over Michael’s shoulder.

Michael chuckles to himself, moving towards the kitchen counter and picking up the small bowl of fruit mash you prepared just ten minutes earlier. “Hungry?”

“Fooooooood,” Verona reaches her hand out to the bowl. “Fwuit?”

“Here…” Michael grabs a tea spoon to feed Verona with before taking the bowl of mash and sitting back down at the table—carefully holding Verona on his lap. “Smell that?”

“Wowie.” Verona claps her hands together, excited for lunch as she can already pick up the scent of fresh berries in the mash. “Fwuit inside?”

“Bananas, raspberries, strawberries…” Michael glances inside the bowl, seeing how you’ve prepared a perfect, mushy consistency into baby food; one of Verona’s favourite ways to eat her fruits and vegetables.

“Eat!” Verona reaches out towards the bowl. “Eat time!”

Michael plants a kiss on top of Verona’s head, getting some mash onto the teaspoon before moving the spoon over to her mouth. “Here you go.”

“Try?” Verona pushes the spoon back towards you.

“You want me to try?” Michael raises his brows.

“Try fwuit, dada.” Verona nods insistently.

“Then you’ll promise to eat the whole thing?” Michael puts a spoonful of the mash in his mouth.

“Ye!” Verona exclaims, watching her father eat.

“It’s good.” Michael tells her, scooping up some more and moving the spoon towards Verona. “There’s mangos in it too.”

“Mangooooos.” Verona happily pops the spoon in her mouth, swallowing down the mash. “Yum, yum, yum.”

Michael can’t help but let out a small laugh, shaking his head at the excitement Verona feels just eating her favourite fruit mash for lunch. “I don’t think I understand your or your brother as well as I thought I did.”

Verona giggles back, ecstatic to hear her father laughing for what even she know as a two year old is very rare. “Fwuit.”

Once you’ve dressed Niccolo in a fresh pair of clothes and pick your son up in your arms, you can make out the sounds of Verona happily squealing downstairs.

You’re unable to wipe off the growing smile on your face as you take Niccolo downstairs and peek over into the living room where the sound is coming from.

“DADAAAAAAA!” Verona laughs, running around in circles to avoid being caught by her father.

“Too slow, princess. I’ve already—got you!” Michael leans down and swiftly scoops a giggling Verona up, peppering little kisses over her cheeks.

“Aaaaaaaa, dada!” Verona throws her hands up in the air, absolutely having a blast playing with her father.

Niccolo’s eyes widen with excitement, squirming to get out of your arms and join the two impatiently. “Me, me, meeeee!”

“You too, huh? Be careful, honey!” You set Niccolo down, watching him run on his little legs towards Michael and Verona.

“Spoiled, isn’t she?” You grin, leaning against the doorway.

Fooooooood, I fucking love food !! Not even just eating, but like learning about food from different cultures and countries, learning about modern interpretations on ancient cooking, and yes also eating bc it's so delicious and cooking is mostly a relaxing experience to me

2. Video games :33333 love me some gamer experiences !! I've been playing "Baldur's Gate 3" since it came about like 2weeks ago and I've put over 200hours into it already!, I beat it recently and immediately started another playthrough, it's so fun, I love Larian Studio, I loved DoS2, and I love games in general

I play a whole lot of games, really into BG3 rn but before that it was FFXIV, which i've played on and off for yeeeeearss!! it's the main way me and my friends hangout since most of us are hundreds(or in my case thousands) of miles apart

3. Much like yourself, I adore thunderstorms and just rain in general, winter is my favourite season and what is snow if not just really cold rain? c;

4. AMVs, honestly it's a little cringe but I love them dearly, shows I enjoy with fitting music and wonderful editing, they make me cry so much ;w;

5. Animals of all kinds, I love seeing birds in my garden and the rare spotting of my neighbours cats wandering around, I'll happily stop what i'm doing to watch some bird/cat/squirrel that's wandered into view

   We rolling deep with the blue hearts for INDIGO this week 😭😭😭😭✨ Hi! Hello! Holaaaaaa!!!!! How has your week been so far? I’m writing this a day ahead and it’s the night time and Nox is laying next to me as I write on my phone. It’s been a while since I used my phone to write because I have been at my desk more to write for the past two years and I decided to just lay down and relax my back for once 😂But, it’s a chilly night and the heater is on and I’m all comfy next to my cat child.🥰 It’s nice. Self-care is also just being wrapped into a cocoon while your cat just stares at you and cleans her paws for the night lmao 🤣 Also, y’all I added Austria to my list of places I wish to go to as a goal to go during Christmas one of these years. My sister told me about how it looks in Austria during Christmas and it is FREAKING GORGEOUS AND THEY KNOW HOW TO GET INTO THE SPIRIT. Look at pictures of AUSTRIA DURING CHRISTMAS and tell me you would not want to teleport there right now. Lol It is officially on my bucket list. THE SNOW, THE MARKETS, THE CAROLERS, THE SHOPS, THE CAFES, THE FREAKING LIGHTS, AND THE FOOOOOOOOD!!! AHHHHHHHH. Lol I would enjoy it so much and just imagine the pictures and snow moments. My heart is crying😭

  To continue forward, ahhh!!! I wanted to show you more laughter and a ton of tears and more than usual. Lol Indigo is an experience and I had a lot of thoughts. I talk about my favorite parts of each song in multiple videos and I just can’t with Wild Flower. That track makes me cry and it’s just something else for me and I feel it and I cried through talking about it near the end. I just couldn’t hold it in. It’s just beautiful. And I say this in the beginning but my opinion is based on just listening to the album a lot of times and looking at the lyrics. I went into it not seeing any interviews or lives nor the music videos. Once I post this I would have already seen them lol but I wanted to write raw and with what I felt with my own imagery and feelings and with a small bit of what I saw here and there from ARMY. 💜 Enjoy! Haha Joonie you really did a solid album. Thank you for working hard and for all the artists you worked with even the BTS CREW behind the scenes and producers. It is an album that has felt hearty and has made me feel a lot. It’s been a while since a track has made me feel the way it did and you worked hard. I love it. 💙 Thank you for making me cry and thank you for speaking words that spoke to me in more than just the physical and the sound. My heart was touched. I won’t say more because I say it all in the videos lol believe me. Haha But, watch with headphones on, or if you are in a place alone because I curse a lot in them and I cry and I mean I cry and talk near the end lol I was letting myself feel. Be warned. I will say that long story short not just with Wild Flower as a track, but the album feels like a death of your past and a rebirth of something not new but of what is to come and who you are becoming. Each track has some sorrow to it at least to me it does but in a poetic sense and I dig it. It just made me feel this outlook of letting go of what was and I am going to keep growing where I want to and just be free and flow where my growth takes me like a Wild Flower. 🌼 I felt something beyond just peace. It was like you finally collided with yourself and I felt a sense of happiness because of that collision. Something about it felt reassuring and fulfilling. I make no sense but yeah. 😁 I will be listening to Indigo well, Joonie. I love you and FIGHTING!💙💜✨

   I also found some of my past photos where I did a Daisy photo shoot from back in 2020 and I waited to make edits with your ENTIRETY folio for this day lol and I added some of my favorite lyrics from each of the tracks in INDIGO. I hope everyone can enjoy those too. I got inspired after I heard your album for the first time and I put two and two together. 💕 I say this in one of the posts, but I really did feel like a little Thumbelina with Joon and my heart was so warm. I really love the story of Thumbelina too. She is like a small flower child who falls for a flower fairy prince and Joonie is like a flower prince to me and I love it. 😭

Yeah, the members did multiple concepts and makeup and outfits but they did it from their own creativity and personality and your personality stood clear as day to me when you spoke about how you like things intuitive and you did just that with your photos. Three concepts that give these three words meaning: KEEPING IT SIMPLE. It’s your style and you did it the way you would have.  I wanted to also talk to HOBI about his OSAKA VROOM VROOM PERFORMANCE at MAMA lol I saw your live too Hobi and I did not get to see MAMA when it was MKMF lol I read that it switched its logo and name in 2009. Lol I was not aware of the award show at that time until later down the next years after. So, it went from it being called Mnet Korean Music Festival to Mnet Asian Music Awards. That’s interesting lol I learned something new today. From my own perspective, I always saw MAMA like the Grammys but in Asia just like the Latin Grammys lol So, I always saw it as prestigious to be awarded at that awards show too and I can see why it is also special to even now receive and be honored awards not just for BTS but also for yourself as a solo artist.  And yes I saw the speech with Jin too lol over the phone. That was cute but I feel it was a nice touch and maybe it made you less nervous to be up there on your own accepting awards. Haha YOU DID WELL,  HONEY. YOUR FIT WAS SERVING,  YOUR SMILE WAS GIVING, AND YOUR PERFORMANCE CAME WITH PURPOSE AND DID ITS THING. 👏👏👏  I just wanted to also validate what you said about being disappointed and talking about how you felt before and during your performance. I think that a performance never goes with full satisfaction for every artist and performer as you all are always moving and changing and trying to evolve to each situation with your work and that’s a given. I think the fact that you feel unsatisfied but also grateful for the experience just proves you are doing your job well. You are a true performer because even after almost a decade of doing this you still care about your stage presence and that speaks more.  You started as a rookie and today you have the heart of when you were a rookie and it makes me feel proud of you because of that fact alone. That passion is still there and you take it seriously even after all this time. You didn’t simmer. You only grew that flame more and kept it alive. I love you, Hobi.❤️‍🔥  But, as a watcher I think your performance was like that of a show, especially near the end with ARSON.🔥That small minute when you paused with both your arms up and the fire was burning and then the dancers/BTS CREW came in was so SICK!!!!  That reminded me of a BTS performance but in your style and it was explosive in many ways!!! I LOVED IT!! The beginning with MORE was insane as well. I saw the dance practice with your borahae sweater lol and it is just so in sync and it was like seeing art come alive. The way you moved intuitively with the beat and your body just went with it and you got into the music just felt liberating yet constrained and I loved it. It gave what the lyrics to MORE did with this essence that you want to do more and give it your all but there are still thoughts and doubts that keep you from fully letting it out and your body was showing that with the flow. ME GUSTO MUCHO!!! Haha also, I thought it was cute how you move on purpose when you get nervous. Lol Jimin really does have that healing effect with his presence.😭 But,  I am glad you pulled through and it really didn’t show once you got up there and got into your zone. 👍 Also, I really loved when you said this: “I think my life has always been like that too. I need to experience and feel it…even if I am afraid of it.” Yes. 💜 I dig it. Everything is scary in this world, but you can only hope to understand it all by taking the first step into it.   Also, “Where are the other kookies?” Lmaooooo Hobi, I don’t know if you found out already but its an inside joke from Qatar and Kook because of what the CEO of Katar studios, Ahmed Al Baker was asked in an interview about where the rest of Bangtan was. Lol But, the interviewer, Abdullah, said along the lines, “I got so many compliments about Kookie. Why did you guys bring Kookie only and not the other Kookies?”  Lol Kookies is code for BANGTANNIES. Hehe I will post a link to the references so you get what I mean. It is so funny but freaking CUTE. Jungkook, you are the Kookie but you should also be proud Bangtan got referenced as Kookies. honestly not sure what my FAVOURITE foods are but my safe foods that are like my go-to (because i’m scared to try new things) are noodles and it’s such a big thing now that everyone in my extended family just knows i’ll want noodles when we go out

i love potatoes!!! like i’ll have potato in most forms apart from mashed. mashed is mushy and icky

pasta is also good but the only red pasta that’s good (for me) is the one my mum makes
