okay but there is something so hrnghfhfbfbfbd about the way that the audience’s interpretation of tbdate is part of the narrative itself like. the fixation on the fucking stove. the entire POINT is that it was inevitable the entire POINT is that it was his own growth that both saved and killed him and we KNOW that but we are so so so human because we sit here going “if the stove were just fixed, if he just didn’t leave, if if if” as if we don’t already know that him leaving the island would have meant him never living. fucking crazy man.

i don't have a type
men with white hair and blue eye(s) plotting to overthrow the system (they hide a deeply traumatic past behind a smiley/psychotic façade and have questionable relationships with their manipulative best friend/accomplice. they have also killed multiple times)
(they fight against the social order, its power dynamics and its hierarchies because they have been unjustly victimised by it; their existence is proof that something is wrong with the status quo and its limited and exclusive idea of justice; they fight for freedom. and yet they'll never be the 'hero' of their own story but dwell on the line between 'victim' and 'villain')

Hear me out:
The natural (positive) conclusion to Batman’s character arch is him retiring peacefully at 65 and opening a bat rescue clinic.
I’m telling you, wrapping orphan baby bats up like tiny burritos would be SO therapeutic for him.

Proshippers be funny af. GoT opening sequence is nothing like hotd so that comparison they pulled up is false and desperate.
me: i want helaegon to be the deconstruction of targaryen incest that examines the psychological horror of a forced marriage to one's own sibling in which the full family is already hanging by a thread in a treacherous situation since there is no other targ couple in the entirety of canon perfectly situated to explore and dissect this horrific aspect of targaryen culture
#them: i want an incestuous love triangle (that is not canon) because incestuous love triangles is interesting writing or something

dont think about betty on her own thinking about how she gave up so much in her life and so much she wanted to do and so much of her own independent identity to follow simon and do what he wanted to do. oh god dont think about simon telling betty he wants her by his side and she cancels her trip to stay with him and when he spins her around he leaves her standing just one step beneath him. but in the theoretical reality where he goes with her they stay on the same level the entire time. and who knows what would’ve happened. but it didn’t happen and they’ll never get to know. no changing it. betty doesn’t regret anything. they made their own choices. and don’t think about simon having this realization that changes everything way, way too late, with absolutely nothing left to do about it but just. know. and keep going. and don’t think about that being how it ends. they never see each other again. Yeah it’s too late I’m crying so much

(I'm so sorry for this but) in a roundabout way don't you think Loki taking the brunt of the fall-and-slide off the time runway a foreshadow for him taking the brunt of holding onto the entire multiverse so his new boy best friend can continue to exist? And the fact that he re-materialized and slammed all the way into Mobius' arms really cemented the fact that he was timeslipping back to him the whole time??
Oh no please don't be sorry anon, if anything Lokius angst is probably fueling at least 97.2% of my existence at this point so by all means keep it coming 😂
And yes, I was just thinking about this the other day!! Tbh the first ep of S2 is full of foreshadowing about Loki's fate (most notably the sheets of paper that cover enough of the TVA logo to spell “Time Author” when he's looking for a time stick in the future TVA to get back to Mobius) and it's definitely not a coincidence all the time Mobius spent in S1 fighting to give Loki the chance to be whoever he wanted essentially manifested in Loki realizing what he wants is to be someone there for Mobius in the same way which we see in his every action afterwards.
Then there's Loki's timeslipping which is SUCH a cool visual impact but also just satisfyingly obvious which is probably the main reason I love it, lol. How unbelievably telling that at first when it happens as Loki's anxiety or nervousness builds he's only able to take better control after following the trail of getting back to Mobius then even more so after Mobius physically and emotionally grounds him. Then of course when A.D. Doug explains if Loki focuses on what he "needs" he can control his timeslipping, that's why his reply of needing to save the TVA doesn't activate anything until he gives in to what he *personally* needs first and foremost which is to get back to Don and figure out how to give Mobius the choices he was never afforded upon creation, only to end up doing so in a way that took away the one thing Mobius did want and now here we are 😔

(narrator: Of all those you killed in your Father's name, one lingers in your mind even now. Alfira, the Bard of the Emerald Grove. Her death weighs upon you still.)
this line singlehandedly inspired alfira's importance to nethandre's development, and when i finally got back it destroyed me
alfira was so important to her. she may have only known her for a tenday, but with how little nethandre remembered, she was her entire world. if she didnt rediscover music and find something she loves that has nothing to do with killing, she probably would've given in, slaughtered the grove, and spiraled back into the person she used to be
i'm sad :(
