Goku: His braincells would be fighting over whether to be confused or very happy. He's not sure why you flopped down on him while he was taking a small nap, but hey! Now he gets free cuddles! Probably gets too happy to lay still now tho, so have fun getting comfy on the squirming Saiyan.

Vegeta: Very confused, likely to complain but thoroughly enjoying the attention, even if he doesn't like admiting it. Won't let you get up, after his half assed complaining he gets comfy and if u move at all he grumbles and glares at you. Although it's not often he finds himself laying around anyway, so enjoy your cuddly prince while you can.

Raditz: Very happy, tail wagging, your not moving whether you want to or not. Might tease you for wanting his attention depending on his mood. Highly likely to get squirmy but unlike Goku, will probably just pick you up and carry you around with him wherever he may go. With Raditz, probably to a more comfort place and you wind up with him snoozing on top of you. Make sure your comfortable before letting him fall asleep, he's all muscle, very heavy, and lives for cuddles.

Bardock: Probably let's you guys lay there for a bit before scooching you off of him and doing whatever it is he does in his free time ( probably training more tbh). Unless you're mad strong, your probably not gonna be able to fight very hard for your position. If you whine about it enough he might lay back down but it'll take some borderline groveling. Will ruffle your hair before he goes back to train tho.

Gine: Def wraps her tail around you. She loves cuddling (honestly probably runs in the family) and will happily let you lay on her for as long as you please. Might ask about your day and tell you about hers as well. Honestly very peaceful. If she's in a particularly good mood she may hum little tunes and such.

Broly: More confused than anything. You flopped on him kinda hard, are you okay? Did you mean to do that or did you just fall? Oh, does that mean we're cuddling now? Happy tail wags ensue. He's still not used to the silly little things humans do, but he appreciates them nonetheless. Makes him happy when you give him attention, and it gives him a sense of calm to have you lay on top of him. Probably becomes a regular occurrence.

Turles: Angry. How dare you lay your disgusting body on mine? Highly likely to just shove you off of him. He doesn't enjoy human affection at all. Unless you're ready to fistfight him til the sun sets, he doesn't want it. (He really enjoys the attention but would rather die than admit it, his tail wags for a whole half a second before he wraps it around his waist cause ew, emotions other than hatred and rage.)

“Just give me a name, Peter!” You’re storming after him, no help at all as your boyfriend pinches his nose closed between his thumb and forefinger, looking around the kitchen for something to stop the bleeding. “Why won’t you tell me?” 

“Because—” Peter finds the paper towels, wadding one up and stuffing it under his nose. “—because I don’t need you running around Brooklyn with a baseball bat over my bruised nose.” 

“It could be broken!”

“I would know,” he says, oddly confident. Peter leans back against the counter, tipping his head back and closing his eyes. Your heart aches to see him in pain, but the blood it’s pumping feels like fire, and you prefer to focus on that. “I appreciate that you want to avenge me, sweetheart, but I can handle myself.” 

You give him a deadpan look even though his eyes aren’t open to see it. “Pete, you know I love you just as you are, but you’re not exactly built like a fighter.” 

“I’m stronger than you think.” 

“Be that as it may,” you go on, rolling your eyes at his macho (and in your opinion, completely delusional) self-assessment, “I want to help.” You move closer to him, placing a hand under his head to support the awkward angle of his neck. Peter opens his eyes to give you a grateful look, and you take the paper towel from him, checking to make sure his nose is still bleeding before putting it gently back in place. “I just want to know who did this to you,” you say softly. “Please, honey?”

Peter eyes you, but you see the endearment taking effect, the slight softening in his features and the twitch his hand gives on the counter, instinctively reaching for you.

“It’s not a satisfying answer,” he says after a minute.

“That’s alright,” you encourage him. “I’ll take anything.” 

Peter sighs. “Alright, I didn’t want to tell you because it’s embarrassing.” You feel your eyebrows pinch, but stay quiet. “I saw some guy stealing a lady’s bike in Bushwick, and when I tried to grab it from him, I nailed myself in the face with the handlebars.”  

You feel your eyes go wide, and Peter’s mouth curves on one side in a sheepish half-smile.

“That’s not embarrassing,” you say. “You were trying to help. Anyway, it sounds to me like it was the bike thief’s fault.” 

Peter actually laughs, then grimaces, hand flinching toward his nose. “Yeah, I thought you might say something like that. Can’t give you a name there, baby. I was distracted, so all I saw was the back of his red beanie while he was running off.” 

You pout at him, stroking at the skin beside his nose tenderly. “Well what were you gonna do, chase him down? Then you might’ve really gotten beat up.” 

Peter’s cheeks color faintly pink. “Yeah, maybe. Anyway,” he moves on quickly, taking on a satisfied tone, “there’s no one to get revenge on. I did it to myself.” 

You hum noncommittally. “Well, I’m sorry you got hurt.” 

Peter grins, and when he removes the paper towel this time, the bleeding has stopped. “Thanks, pretty girl,” he says in a familiar tone, hands finding your hips and angling them against his. “If you wanna make me feel better, I’ve got some ideas.” 

You do make him feel better. And the next day, you come into class feeling a lot better too. 

“Shit,” Peter hisses when you sit down beside him, reaching over to turn your face towards the light so he can better make out the bruises around your nose and the dried blood still crusted around your nostrils. “What the hell happened to you?” 

You shrug, enjoying the feel of his hands on your face. “You should see the other guy,” you joke (though really, you wish you had thought to take a picture). “Anyway, now we’re matching.” 

“When I said it’d be fun to match at school someday, this is not what I meant,” Peter insists, thick eyebrows knit together worriedly. “And who’s the other guy? Did you find a bike to beat you up too?” 

“Better.” You smirk. “A bike thief.” 

It’s possible you get too much enjoyment out of watching Peter’s face as it slackens, eyebrows moving gradually upward as his eyes widen in realization. “Wha—but, sweetheart, there’s no way you found the same guy. Did you just pick a fight with some random bike thief?” 

“No, I think it was him.” You quirk an eyebrow. “Tall, red beanie, giant tattoo on his neck?”

Peter’s lips part in wonderment, and you have your confirmation.

“I figured those guys usually work in the same area every time. So when I saw a dude with a red beanie stealing a bike in Bushwick, I was pretty sure I had the right guy.” 

“So, what?” Peter scrubs a hand through his hair. “You went and riled him up until he punched you in the face? Baby, what were you thinking?”

i like to think that he goes through random bouts of sadness and frustration, especially before he regains his memory; he doesn't even know where his deep-seated rage towards demons come from! that fact just perpetuates his frustration. he can't understand why he's so angry and that only serves to anger him more.

simple little gestures are definitely the way to go, too. he's got a big heart. it's really not too hard to cheer him up, as long as your efforts are genuine.

also, definitely give him a big hug. he'd love that. squeeze him like your life depends on it. it won't hurt him; he's a hashira. he'll be fine.

i headcanon that he's a very good cook!

he is, however, a disaster with baking.

because of this, i think the best way to cheer him up would actually just be sitting in the silence with him.

He kinda does the same thing too. Recently he’s bought like, a lot of silly stim toys, so if you need something to do with your hands he’s got you covered.

No matter what, he would never get annoyed by how much you gesture and fidget. He does the same thing! Probably as much as you! He just sees it as a good thing, it makes it easier for you to get your point across. If anyone ever got mad at you for it, he’s immediately telling them to shut up.

As much as Arthur tries his best to not be bothered by your constant fidgeting, he can’t help it sometimes. He loves how hyper you are! But sometimes, he’ll hold your hands as an excuse to get you to calm down a little. He’s an old man, he’s got a headache.

But most of the time, he couldn’t care less. I mean, if anything, it just helps him know exactly what you’re talking about quicker. When Wally sees Y/N crying Wally quickly goes running up to them softly saying “No, no, no please don’t cry.” And he’ll try wipe away their tears, he asks Y/N what happened which only caused Y/N to start crying more so Wally asks them if they want a hug.

Like OG he’ll go limp in their arms when Y/N hugs him and he’ll let them hold him as long as they like. Although they might find holding Wally a tiny bit uncomfortable but that’s mostly because of the pieces of straw poking out of him but that still doesn’t stop Y/N from hugging him and appreciates his comfort.

Also after listening to Y/N explain what happened to cause the break up Wally then says “Well, your Ex must not have a brain if they wanted to break up with someone as wonderful as you.”

Frank:

“Look I may not have a heart but I’m not heartless.”

At first Frank doesn’t know what to do to comfort Y/N but listen the guy tries ok? He really tries that’s what’s most important! He’ll awkwardly hug Y/N and pats them on the back trying to be as reassuring as possible.

This is one of those moments he wishes he wasn’t made of tin cause at least his hugs wouldn’t be hard and cold. He tries to offer Y/N the best advice he can and he’ll hold them close and lets them cry. Frank also poorly attempts to make a joke about if Y/N keeps crying they’ll make him rust which does admittedly makes Y/N laugh a bit.

Y/N may or may not happen to find Frank sharpening his axe later

Sally:

In the Wizard of Oz AU, Sally is quite afraid of most things however when she sees and hears how upset Y/N is over the break up she immediately forgets her fear and wants to go confront Y/N’s Ex for breaking their heart. The only reason she doesn’t though is because Y/N need her more right now. She’ll do everything in her power to take Y/N mind off of their Ex to the point where she’ll let Y/N braid her mane and put flowers in it.

Barnaby:

Barnaby has known Y/N ever since they were a kid and he will tell Y/N every joke he knows to cheer them up and make them laugh “Hey kid, Why did the scarecrow win an award? Because he was outstanding in his field.” Trust me he’ll keep going until they crack a smile then proceeds to give them the biggest and warmest bear hug of their life and tries reassuring them that it’s hard now but he swears that everything’s going to be okay.

The first time this happened, she thought somebody was trying to jump her until she realizes it's only you.

Eventually she gets used to it, recognizing your footstep patterns moments beforehand.

Your affections are often the distraction she needs whenever investigating places/murders gets overwhelming or she's struggling with her amnesia.

She doesn't mind you following her around while exploring the ship or islands. It gives you a chance to talk about what you found, or just have casual chats to take your minds off of this dreadful "trip".

Whenever the others see you together, they usually mind their business. You both keep tightly-knit alibis, so you're rarely suspected of any murders.

But Monocrow can be quite annoying with his constant "no excessive PDA" reminders.

Setsuka

Ever since you've known her, the ol' "hugging from behind" greeting was something you two have exchanged for years. She's absolutely all for it.

It helps on days where she gets self-conscious of her cybernetic eye and stares into the mirror too long. You'd embrace her and reassure her it looks beautiful, giving her a kiss that cheers her up right away.

Fastforward to the killing game, you'd always stay by each other's side, helping the other students feel better about this grim situation and find ways to lift everyone's spirits.

You're impressed with how quickly Setsuka became the "mom friend" among them.

When they all see you being a sweet and supportive couple, it's hard for them to believe either of you could be potential murderers or Voids.

You might possibly have a friendly rival with Hibiki--just to see who can hug your gf the most in a single day.

Nikei

If he's hyperfocused on writing articles or making observations for scoops, he's easy to startle.

It just takes him out of the zone™ and he may get a little annoyed, so it's best to make your presence known beforehand. Only then he doesn't mind it.

He finds it endearing if you wanna follow him around, as he'd love to ramble about his latest scoop to a listening ear.

Alternatively, he could be venting about Mikado being a total bitch (assuming you're part of Void or don't mind the fact he's in Void), but you'll let him.

Before the killing game, the rest of the Void gang sees your interactions as cute!

Though they're surprised at how he can yell at them one moment, and then smile and hug you the next.

During the game, however, Nikei easily gets flustered by your affections if others are around to witness them--especially if Mikado points them out.

But if you're both alone together he'll let you hug him.

Yuki

Tbh if anyone appreciates your hugs the most, it's this guy.

They definitely help bring him back to reality whenever he starts getting upset or disassociates.

Somehow you just know when he needs you the most.

With his fear of losing people he cares about, he'd rather have you stick by him as you venture through the ship or islands. It gets harder to trust anyone besides his s/o as the murders continue.

But he refuses to think you'll ever be a killer. Just straight-up denies it.

Most of the students see you together and notice he's not as pessimistic anymore, which is great!

As for others, well...they may just see you as "interference" and might try to do something to change that /j

Mikado

Usually, he wouldn't allow anyone to sneak up on the mastermind so easily.

But he can sense whenever it's you and so he just plays along, feigning being "captured" once he feels your arms around him.

His mask is all smiles (or half smiles, in this case).

He'll try to reciprocate the gestures when you least expect it, sometimes sweeping you off your feet.

Honestly when not dealing with Void-related stuff, he likes following you around just as much as you like following him!

But only bc he thinks this is what couples normally do.

The others (esp Sora and Teruya) think you've gone crazy for dating the freaking mastermind, and Nikei fully believes you've been brainwashed/hypnotized into loving him.

Imagine how flabbergasted the journalist is when Mikado explains that's not the case whatsoever.

Syobai

Like Sora and Mikado, he can anticipate if you're coming up behind him.

You two got an inside joke that he'll "charge" you for every second you spend hugging him, with you gladly saying you'll go broke.

What made the Ultimate Broker fall for you hard is knowing his dry humor. You get it.

He does feel a bit relaxed with his back against you, so he may be tempted to let you carry most of his weight while he smokes.

If you tend to follow him around like a lost puppy, he won't make much of a comment on it, though he'll ask if you needed something or if you had info to share.

Don't take it to heart. He's just used to being a loner.

Should anyone else notice, they simply marvel at how you can tolerate him.

I feel like you all are struggling financially or dealing with some sort of insecurity in terms of your stability. I think this is a phase you're going through in a way, and from a spiritual perspective it seems like you all are learning something or many things from this somehow. And it's coming out really positive here actually. It seems like you're all on a spiritual journey and this is a part of that. One thing, it seems like if you had the money aspect of life figured out as of now, you wouldn't grow as much as a person. If any of you are worried about food specifically there are definitely places and people around that would help you out if the situation is that severe especially if you're in America ok. I'm really feeling that they just want you all to sort of relax, especially at night. Just appreciate the moment. A person could have nothing to their name and nowhere to go, but they still have stars to look at every night.

You guys are definitely going somewhere, or something is happening. I'm really getting something about the word destination. It seems like whatever is going on with or around you might have some more negative side effects. I'm kind of thinking about turbulence, like when you're in a plane and it starts shaking. And you all might be a bit sad or something. I heard on edge. I saw one of your guys fish tank very cool. So it seems like spirit wants you all to find some form of peace somewhere somehow in some way. Maybe meditation. I feel almost frustrated like, you may be past this and trying your best and don't know about anything that might help or even what you really need. One thing, I see if you go outside or to a store or stores and possibly talk to strangers there, or for some of you someone who is stable minded or you get along with conversationally.. and also just being outside would help. Sitting in the grass. Also getting good sleep and doing everything you can to feel mellow before bed time. I'm seeing you may need to have patience with either yourself or a individually for most of you I'm getting they're female if that's the case. If someone in your life is trying to bribe you or something like that, I would say stick to your morals and stand very strong and be punk about who you are. F em . Seriously. But it's your decision to make. I just feel like this person kinda sucks for that. Like that's manipulation. One of you has a dog they're encouraging you to not do some type of idk if it's surgery or something that could possibly be cruel or just you don't know if you want to do it it could even just be a shock collar I know I never liked those. But yeah don't do it whatever it is. If you know someone is abusing an animal then do something /say something about it please . So yeah one of you is going to be or is at a place where there is a older fence I think right, and when you leave you should be careful. Just cautious Incase anything might happen. If a dog is barking a lot that's a sign. If there is a kid playing with a hose by a fence for one of you I saw that I don't know why but it might be sort of like deja Vu, as in that moment is just significant somehow and maybe we don't get to know why. Ok so someone here you go to school you love to come home and chill with and see your dog right I heard sweetheart maybe that's just how your dog is or you call someone that or someone calls someone that I have no clue just heard the word ok. Basically though about the person that goes to school your dog wishes to tell you that something is going on when you're gone and it's not good and I'm not sure what it is but you ought to get to the bottom of it . I'm mainly feeling neighbor maybe it's a roommate I don't really know what's going on I think you have to find a way to find out or just take steps to protect your dog. If they don't like loud noises if that's the case someone has a neighbor that makes loud noises this could be a different person, and your dog doesn't like it. I'm getting construction stuff. Aro anon here! Dw, I've never felt that you as the author was pushing us to hate Ædan for not loving MC back. I think you've done fairly well, sort of, holding court(?) and showcasing asks without pushing any particular viewpoints.

Important addendum to my thoughts: I personally don't mind being uncomfy! like, not in this instance. Some fiction should be uncomfortable, especially attempting to delve into certain topics. It might be the only way to do it with honestly. It's worth it to read about the raw reactions Ædan gets. I don't want to police people's feelings on the matter - I think that's weird when we're talking fiction. Or worse, for any anons to be less honest going forward! But i do want to encourage self-examination, and give my own honest, first-reaction perspective to consider

I appreciate that you aren't planning to glorify sentiments like that, but i do hope you won't shy away from it altogether. Like, romance is messy, it can cause a lot of "ugly" feelings, and u should get to write the messiest version possible in a romance game 😂 where else to explore this? It'd be different if i was giving advice to a friend about a guy, but this is a story. Pls dw about making MC have "correct" feelings. Indulging in being vengeful, petty, or utterly enamoured with Ædan in the complete opposite direction from before could be really fun! MC being angry at Ædan specifically for not loving MC back is normal, and I think it'd make sense as an option in-game. But it'd be best, I think, to have varied reaction to this in-game. I think it'd be an interesting bit of characterization too, seeing who'd support MC unilaterally in this and who'd give more push-back against an MC who thinks like this.

e.g i think people already want the option to shove their happy relationship with Ædrick/Cyffrin in Ædan's face. There could definitely be a "if you'd picked me, you could've been this happy too 😒" bend to it 😂 so many possible reactions from everyone involved to be had:

Is Ædan actually jealous? What if not? I feel like he already knows his life would've been exponentially easier if he was in love with MC, but he had a decade and still couldn't force it. He knows what he'd feel like in a relationship with MC - utterly miserable. Maybe he'd just be happy that MC has found the happiness he feels with Helene in Ædrick/Cyffrin and say so. Would a Vengeance!MC be incensed about that?? What if Ædan was jealous and regreful! Would MC be pleased with that? Just openly gleeful?
