my girl can wear whatever she wants tiers please for crazy ass boys gang!!!
CRAZY ASS BOYS GANG + MY GIRL CAN WEAR WHATEVER SHE WANTS TIERS
❥ my girl can wear whatever she want cause I can fight ❥
Billy Loomis - When you look particularly good his arm might as well be glued to your waist. He's both possessive and protective. He hates the way everyone's eyes devour you, but can't help how prideful it makes him either. Yeah, you want her. Of course you want her. Everyone does. But only I have her. God help the idiot that's stupid enough to open their mouth and not just look.
Jordan Li - They love watching you put your outfits together. They make suggestions from your bed, glancing up at you every few minutes. They can't help it. Their eyes are drawn to you permanently. No matter how crowded the room they can find you in a second. Whenever there's a party Jordan loves watching everyone try to sneak quick glances at you. They jump like rabbits when they wind up meeting Jordan's eyes and watch that smile that Jordan only wears around you fall back into the usual scowl. No one wants to be caught staring at Jordan's girl.
Arvin Russell - It's not possible for you to feel fear in public when you're with Arvin. You could be wearing straight lingerie in the most dangerous city in the world at 2 am and be safe. He's not just ready to protect you but hungry for it. Every time he proves he'll fight till his knuckles are bloody and bruised over you he watches you walk a little more confidently. Shine a little brighter. Knowing that he's there to protect you has only made you more yourself every day. And Arvin? He's obsessed with the transformation that the safety net of his fierce protection has ignited within you.
Jason Dean/JD - You wish he'd only fight people over what you're wearing. Unfortunately, this is not the case. JD pulls out a gun. Not every time, granted. Just a large majority of the time. In his defense, how is he supposed to act when someone has the audacity to cat call you? Do you expect him to just watch and not care as you experience that brief shiver of fear that runs up your spine when a man whistles at you before following it up with even more salacious words? If you feel fear, he'll make them feel fear. Simple.
Sparrow!Ben Hargreeves - If someone is stupid enough to not recognize him before they say anything to you about what you're wearing they will quickly recognize the tentacle wrapped around their throat. "Apologize." He hisses through gritted teeth, increasing the pressure, knowing just how much strength he can use before it would break their neck. How he ever expects anyone to apologize to you with a giant tentacle wrapped around their wind pipe you don't know. This is the second time this month. You're running out of night clubs you're not banned from.
David Mccall - You walk out of the house with the confidence that only someone who's done 12 tours over seas should have. But no, you just have a boyfriend who is incredibly scary. You've watched him almost break a man's hand for brushing it against yours at a crowded bar while he reached for his drink. You don't even think before you throw on an outfit anymore.
❥ my girl can wear whatever she want because she a hoe and I knew that before we started dating ❥
Josh Washington - Could he fuck someone up if needed? Yes, but he feels no need to. As long as you're not in danger or being disrespected Josh loves the way you express yourself through your look. You're hot and beautiful, of course you wear stuff that's short or tight, or both. If he looked like you he'd do the same thing. People don't usually say anything to you anyways, since he's always pressed to you like a second skin. He's not a jealous guy, but he is a chronic clinger.
Stu Macher - Is probably the person wolf whistling you in the first place. Points at you from across the room when you're talking to other people and says, "That's my girl right there. She's smoking, right?" He will always be smug he pulled you and NEVER shut up about it. The more wild you dress the more smug he gets. People can look all they want. But you only want him. What's there not to brag about?
Kevin Khatchadourian - Kevin above anyone else would thoroughly understand your psyche before dating you. He's involved with you because, somehow, you intrigued him against all odds. He already expected and predicted with near perfect accuracy every step of the relationship. Skimpy outfits are not throwing him. Can he fight? Yes. But, frankly, if someone pisses him off by hitting on you swinging on them is not gonna satisfy him. He's more of a "put their fingerprints at a crime scene so their life is ruined" type of get back. If he decides not to kill them.
Sebastian Valmont - Sebastian is the one buying you more hoe clothes. He loves your style and is not insecure. If either of you wanted someone else, you could go get them. But you two were practically made for each other. He wants to show you off. Is never going to be the type to try and dull your shine. He wants to walk into a room with you and have jaws drop from the deadly combination of the way you look together. He thrives off of seeing how much people want you. Knowing how futile it is. How hopeless. He pulls you tight into his side and grins like the devil himself (also, and this knowledge is of utmost importance, he cannot fight for shit.)
❥ my girl can wear whatever she want cus I’m scared of her ❥
Nathan Prescott - Is possessive, jealous and insecure enough to absolutely want you to change what you're wearing. With anyone else he'd even be bold enough to tell them to change. You are not anyone else, though. You are you. Considering every other behavior you tolerate from Nathan on a monthly, weekly, daily, and hourly basis you would snap on him like a twig if he tried to bring one more red flag on board. He knows this. You know this. When you slide on your low rise jeans and the tiniest crop top known to man, you make eye contact with one another in the mirror. He looks away first. You go back to peacefully fixing up your hair. Upside, no one is crazy enough to actually hit on you when you're at parties held on campus together. Which means Nathan won't have the cops called on him. Hooray!

The Pariah and the Freak
Chapter One: how it all began
Tumblr media
Summary: After a long time obsession Eddie Munson finds a way to make the queen of Hawkins High all his and only his.
Part summary: Eddie putting his plan into action and getting together with the girl of his many dreams.
Warning: This is a DARK fic involving forced pregnancy / Eddie baby trapping reader without her knowing. do not keep reading if that makes you uncomfortable or if you’re under 18! It’s definitely soft but still dark Eddie
Sweet, beautiful, caring, compassionate were all words that could be used to describe (Y/n) (y/l/n). She was head cheerleader as well as the somewhat queen of Hawkins high. However unlike most of the cheer squad and jocks she was wasn’t cruel to those not in her social group. Even the nerds, geeks, dorks, losers, and freaks adored her. Eddie Munson was no exception to her beauty and charm.
They definitely weren’t friends she didn’t really know anything about him. They’ve never hung out, and they haven’t exchanged more than ten words but she never insulted him or anyone else in Hellfire. In fact on multiple occasions she stopped one of the jocks from harassing the club. Those things alone lead to Eddie having quite the heavy crush on her.
Now just because she wasn’t cruel to him or his friends doesn’t mean they spoke often. The pair had three classes together and sat on opposite ends of the cafeteria. She just simply didn’t really take much notice of him when he wasn’t putting on some sort of show. For all six years of knowing her he had struggled with ways of getting her attention. If he couldn’t get her to fully notice him how could he get her to be his?
The idea came to Eddie one day while smoking a cigarette in the trailer park on a picnic table. Two of the park moms were sat out front one of their homes smoking and drinking boxed wine while loudly complaining about their lives and how they ended up there. The one with dyed red hair lets out a long exhausted sigh. “I should’ve never listened to him about not usin a condom Cathy, I could’ve been married to Phil Blake he’s a doctor now” she exhales with a puff of smoke. “He baby trapped ya Trisha that’s exactly what he did no good bastard” the other agrees.
Eddie sat up straight listening a little closer. He had heard rumors of women ‘baby trapping’ men but never the other way around. Could it be the answer to his prayers? The solution to his life’s struggle? Now he just had to figure out how to get the most popular girl in town to not only sleep with him but do it unsafely.
Thankfully that comes to him pretty easily too. He’s in his last period class not focusing on the assignment at hand instead listening to the two girls in front of him conversing. The class was doing busy work while the teacher got caught up on things. As long as things didn’t get too loud he allowed them to talk. The two cheerleaders were discussing the party of the week hosted courtesy of the basketball team.
“Jason says Josh’s parents are out of town all weekend”
“Lucky Josh”
“You’re coming right? I was hoping we could get ready together”
“Yes I desperately need to get out of my house especially if it involves drinking and dancing”
“There should be plenty of that knowing the guys. Do you wanna sleep over?”
“Sounds great Chrissy as long as your mom doesn’t make us those granola cookies or jog laps again”
The girls quietly erupt into laughter recalling a prior sleepover and just like that Eddie has a plan. All he has to do is score an invitation to this party and everything he’s ever wanted will be his. (Y/n) will be his and only his.
Tumblr media
The party is crowded with way too many drunk teenagers. The music is loud and shitty. This is not how Eddie Munson wants to spend a Friday night but for her he decides it’s worth it. For her and for his baby Eddie will suffer through this meathead’s party.
He makes his way through the living room pushing past his peers until he spots one of the hosts of the party Josh, aka number 20 of the basketball team. Josh could be the face of the dumb jock stereotype. He’s only cruel when he’s joining in with his peers. Basically the human equivalent of a dog who does whatever you say. Eddie waves a ringed hand holding up the paper bag he had brought.
“Munson fuck yeah man!” Josh laughs with a slur making his way over. In the bag is an assortment of ziplock bags filled with different drugs. Some of the pot is definitely weak since Eddie had to give Josh way too good of a deal to convince him to let him come to the party. Josh pulls out a wad of cash shoving it forward which Eddie accepts handing him the bag. “Good shit, stick around dude have a drink might make you loosen up or somethin” the drunk high schooler says wondering back to his friends.
Eddie rolls his eyes and wonders back into the main part of the party. It’s a sea of faces made up of cheerleaders, preps, partiers, and everything between. He can see a few party goers giving him dirty looks and mutterings of wondering why the freak is in their territory. When he finally spots (Y/n) she’s dancing with Chrissy. Both girls are clearly tipsy already their movements much sloppier than they normally were during their cheers.
They’re giggling and taking turns spinning each other even though it doesn’t match the music at all. Eddie can’t help but think he can’t wait to dance with her. Slow dancing in the kitchen the only thing between them her baby bump. Eddie can’t help but smile at the thought. Their dancing is interrupted by Jason coming up to borrow Chrissy which (y/n) allows despite her disappointment.
(Y/n) let’s out a breath looking around and their eyes meet. A small smile blossoms on her face as she casually walks over to him. “Eddie Munson at a party, well now I’ve seen everything” she teases with a kind smile. She isn’t making fun of him or being rude she’s genuinely surprised he’s here and he’d go as far to say she looks pleased. “Must be a sign of the impending apocalypse or something” he teases back.
She laughs face lighting up with amusement. “Did you come to protest our conformist ways?” She asks curiously. “No just to make googly eyes at Carver, he’s playing hard to get” Eddie jokes. (Y/n) laughs again and Eddie can’t help but think he’d talk forever if she kept making that sound. “I was just here to make a sale” Eddie shrugs.
“So you’re not staying?” She asks. Eddie can’t help but revel in the small bit of disappointment evident on her features. She wants him to stay, she wants him around. “Not really my scene” Eddie shrugs.
“Oh come on stick around you never come to these things” she begs placing a hand on his forearm. Eddie looks from her to the door as if he’s honestly thinking it over. “I guess one drink wouldn’t hurt” he sighs smiling. (Y/n) lights up smiling a little wider.
“Yay that’s great!” The way she cheers for Eddie in the way that’s normally reserved for the schools star athletes makes his heart swell. “Here I’ll get you a refill sweetheart while I get one” Eddie offers out his hand to take her cup. He doesn’t miss the way the nickname makes her a bit bashful as she hands him the empty cup. “Don’t go running off on me now Munson” she calls after him when he begins heading back to the kitchen.
Thankfully the table covered in an assortment of beverages is temporarily unoccupied since the bartender is . Eddie pours them both a drink before slipping out the small two ziplock bag containing only two pills. They were much harder to get than his other substances but thankfully there was a guy the next town over. Once (y/n)’s drink is mixed he returns to find her saving him a spot on a two person love seat.
The small chair doesn’t allow for too much space between them so his leg presses against her own. “Thank you” she grins when he passes her the red solo cup. “Anytime princess” Eddie responds. It was usually a nickname reserved for DnD or for making fun of spoiled rich popular girls but for her he’d make an exception. Again Eddie isn’t oblivious to the effect the nickname has on her.
“You’re quite charming you know that?”
“Am I?”
“Yeah I didn’t know you were so sweet, guess I always thought you were kinda…”
“Mean and scary?”
“I’m sorry”
“It’s okay I kinda thought you were mean and scary too”
“Really me scary?”
“Terrifying”
“Careful Munson I’ll get you with my pompoms”
“See what did I tell ya scary. You give Kruger and Voorhees a run for their money”
“I guess you know my terrible secret, I’m really the evil cheerleader of doom”
“Oh of doom?”
“Yea of doom! I’ll slay you down all while wearing a cheer skirt”
By the end the two are laughing hysterically coming up with her evil villain origin story. He had no idea she’d be so easy to talk to let alone kind of a dork. Maybe she’s only so open because of the alcohol or maybe it’s just who she is he can’t quite figure that part out. However it doesn’t really matter so long as she keeps laughing and touching his arm like that.
“You’d make a great comic book villain sweetheart” Eddie says taking a sip from his drink. Her smile brightens and he watches the way she ducks her a head little as if trying to cover up such a beautiful sight. Eddie reaches his hand out gently tilting her chin so she’s looking up at him again. “Nuh uh if I have to stay at this party you can’t go hiding from me” he teases. The act clearly catches her off guard but she doesn’t move away or push his hand away.
Eddie almost thinks he could get away with kissing her but he doesn’t push his luck moving his hand away. “There you go being all sweet again” she muses. “Shh don’t say that too loud you’ll ruin my reputation” Eddie says in a mock whisper. “Oh and what makes me worthy of knowing the real Eddie Munson?” (Y/n) teases. “Well it must be reserved for only the prettiest girl in school” Eddie shrugs looking down at his cup.
“You think I’m pretty?” She asks. Eddie’s a little surprised by the question. (Y/n) isn’t fishing for compliments or trying to get him to spill his guts, she’s really asking if he’s telling the truth. “Beautiful” Eddie scoffs. The admission makes her bite her lip looking off again.
“You’re not like most guys you know. I don’t think I’ve ever been complimented so much”
“That’s a shame sweetheart.”
“Maybe it’s the age difference, you’re older, wiser than the guys on the team”
“And now I’m old?”
(Y/n) opens her mouth to say something else but is cut off by someone yelling. “What the hell are you doing here freak?” Jason spits. (Y/n) winces while Eddie just lets out a sigh. “Carver so lovely to see you” Eddie says with a mocking grin. One of Jason’s goons grab Eddie by the collar yanking him up from the chair.
Most of the room is looking on at the scene. (Y/n) jumps up from her spot. “Come on guys knock it off we’re just trying to enjoy the party” she says glaring at Jason. “She’s right Jason let’s just go” Chrissy pleads tugging on the sleeve of Jason’s jacket. Jason shrugs his girlfriend off stepping closer to Eddie despite being shorter and far less intimidating.
“Party’s invitation only freak, get lost before I make you” Jason threatens shoving him. Josh looks worried as he keeps his eyes on the ground waiting to be ratted out to his team mates. “I invited him Jason he’s my date” (y/n) snaps quickly grabbing Eddie’s hand. Jason and the rest of the guys look over at her shocked so do Eddie and Chrissy. “And why the hell would you do that?” The blonde asks.
“Jason dude what’s it matter let’s just go back to partying” Josh finally speaks up. “Yeah man who gives a shit he’s here?” Patrick agrees. Jason finally gives up his stare down storming away. Chrissy mouths an apology to her friend scurrying off after them. (Y/n) takes a deep breath looking back towards Eddie.
“You okay?” She asks worriedly. “Yeah sweetheart nothing I’m not used to. Besides this time I had the cheerleader of doom here to protect me” Eddie winks. (Y/n) breathes out a laugh shaking her head a little. She still hasn’t let go of his hand and Eddie can’t help but move his thumb against her skin.
“You might wanna be careful though going around saying you’re on a date with me wouldn’t want to tarnish your reputation” Eddie explains. (Y/n) shrugs smiling nonchalantly. “Not the worst rumor I’ve ever heard about myself” (y/n) laughs. Eddie nods understandably. “Gotta be a new high point for mine.”
The two talk for a while more about whatever crosses their minds. They get to know each other at least on a basic level, joke around, and tease each other. Hell she even convinces him to dance with her for a bit since it is a date after all. He’s having so much fun Eddie almost wants to consider changing his mind on the whole plan but but kidding by how (y/n) seems to get more tired by the minute he thinks it too late for that. She’s in his arms slightly swaying to the music when Eddie notices she’s leaning on him a lot more and slurring her words.
“You alright sweetheart?” Eddie asks tucking his chin down to look at her. (Y/n) nods her eyebrows furrowed and she closes her eyes for a second. “Um yeah I uh I think I need to sit down” she answers slowly. “Shit here sit back down, I’ll get Chrissy okay don’t move a muscle” Eddie orders helping her back into the chair. (Y/n) nods leaning back into the cushions.
Eddie speeds off back towards the kitchen. Thankfully Chrissy is without her guard dog talking to someone from student council who gives Eddie a dirty look. From what he could hear from the conversation the other student was concerned why the (Y/n) (y/l/n) was on a date with the freak show. “Sorry to interrupt but I think (y/n) needs you Chrissy she’s not lookin too good” Eddie says worriedly. Chrissy frowns immediately following Eddie without a word to their classmate.
(Y/n) was just barely staying awake eyes fluttering shut before snapping open again. “Hey hon it’s me you feeling alright?” She asks pressing a hand to her friends forehead. “I don’t know what happened, we were talking and she got really dizzy and tired” Eddie explains. “Maybe she’s just drunk I don’t know will you help me get her upstairs?” She frets looking up at Eddie desperately. Eddie quickly nods leaning down to gently pull (y/n) up hoisting her up bridal style.
“Come on sweetheart I’ve got ya” he breathes carefully upstairs following Chrissy. She leads the pair to an empty bedroom that was off limits. Eddie is gentle when he lays (y/n) down helping her fully into the bed. Chrissy is anxiously biting her thumb nail looking down at her best friend. (Y/n) is softly breathing but hasn’t moved a muscle or spoken since they started heading upstairs.
“She ever gotten drunk like this before?”
“Drunk sure but she’s never been like this before oh god do you think it’s alcohol poisoning? She’ll freak if she has to have her stomach pumped”
“I doubt it did she do anything but drink maybe smoke something?”
“No she couldn’t have I was with her till you got there all she had was two drinks I thought. Oh god Eddie do you think someone drugged her or something? Like one of those tapes they make us watch in school?”
“If so they’re about to learn how much of a freak I can be”
Eddie practically growls the sentence out low and angry as if someone had really hurt his girl. Chrissy looks at him stunned taken back by his concern. “Thank god you were here what if some creep had found her” the blonde frets. Eddie is about to respond but the door slams open making them both turn around. Jason enters the room looking pissed off.
The angry, tipsy athlete storms towards his girlfriend. “Chrissy what the hell are you doing with this freak” Jason spits never taking his eyes of Eddie. “Jason something’s wrong with (y/n) I think we need to take her to the hospital” Chrissy answers. “She’s a big girl she shouldn’t have gotten wasted if she couldn’t handle it” Jason demands. “Not her fault one of your pervert friends drugged her” Eddie says.
“What the hell did you just say?” Jason growls stepping towards Eddie. Chrissy pushes herself between the two as much as she can. “Jason stop it please (y/n) really needs help, he was just helping” Chrissy promises. “Helping, he’s probably the one who did it fucking freak” Jason accuses. Eddie narrows his eyes down at him.
“Eddie will you please grab (y/n) some water?” Chrissy pleads facing the metal head. “Sure thing Chrissy” Eddie nods making sure his shoulder bumps Jason on his way out of the room. Even just outside the door he can hear the couple fighting. As much as he hates it for Chrissy’s sake since she’s always been nice to him it’s a good sign for his plan.
When Eddie returns to the room Chrissy and Jason are long gone just as he expected. Eddie peaks around the empty hallway before shutting the door making sure it’s locked tight. His breathing is shaky and his body is trembling in excitement as he approaches the foot of the bed. This is it finally his shot.
Laid out across the bed peaceful and unmoving (Y/n) looks straight out of a fairy tale. His very own sleeping princess that can only be saved by his love. Her eyes are shut just slightly fluttering every so often. Painted red lips parted just slightly allowing her slow breaths to escape.
The mattress dips under his weight as Eddie kneels down onto the bed. He lowers himself down till he’s hovering just above her. His ring covered hand reaches up to move a stray hair from her face before sliding it down to her cheek. “So beautiful” he whispers. Slowly Eddie leans down till his lips are ghosting over her own.
His head is clouded with anticipation, anxiety, nervousness, and even a little guilt deep deep down. Swallowing back the conflicting emotions Eddie takes the plunge connecting their lips together. Just like he’d always daydreamed her lips are pillowy soft. They melt against his anxiety bitten lips like cotton candy.
When his tongue finds its way into her mouth Eddie sucks in a sharp breath through his nose. Cherry coke mixed with cheep vodka lingers on her tongue flooding Eddie’s tastebuds. It’s a flavor he will now cherish forever because it’s hers. Her gentle slow breaths hit his skin and his fans against her resting face.
When Eddie finally pulls himself away from her now glossy barely swollen lips he doesn’t go far. Instead his wet searing kisses move across her cheekbone, down to her chin and up her neck all the way to her ear. “I’m gonna love you so good sweetheart I promise. Gonna make you and our baby so god damn happy” he breathes.
He lifts away from her face looking over her body. So badly does Eddie want to take his time. He wants to cherish every square inch of her skin, slowly pull her clothes off and tell her why he loves every part of her body, enter slowly with his fingers warming her up and stretching her out, eating her out till she begs him to just stuff her full, making love to her the way she deserves. Only he’s already painfully hard, this is his first time, and he has to hurry. Still though it would be rude not to warm her up.
His hands move down to her skirt and Eddie pushes it up to her waist. (Y/n) chose some see through black panties for the evening that Eddie can tell are already wet. A moan escapes his throat knowing he’s turning her on even in her unconscious state. He’s quick but careful as he pulls them off picketing them in his back pocket for later. There’s not much light in the room just the soft moonlight coming in from the window revealing her wet lips to him.
Eddie reaches up two ringed fingers spreading her pussy open to him. “Fuck you’ve even got a pretty pussy baby can’t wait to see it drooling my cum” Eddie groans. He moves a thumb to her clit slowly circling it. (Y/n)’s body makes a small movement and in her sleep she lets a a soft moan like sound. Eddie continues the motion in varying speeds and pressures seeing which ones make her the most wet.
“That’s it pretty girl need you nice and wet gonna make you cum then fuck you full alright” Eddie breathes moving his other hand to push two fingers into her. She’s tight around even his fingers clenching around them. Once he’s got the rhythm and technique down it’s not hard to make her come undone.
“Fuck” Eddie groans pulling his now soaking wet fingers out of her. He’s quick to shove them into his mouth moaning aloud at the taste. Once their licked clean he moves his hands to his belt fumbling with the buckle till it’s undone and he can properly shove his jeans down his legs. His cock springs free slapping his stomach head red and dripping with precum. Eddie gives it a few strokes looking over her again.
Even just the feeling of the head of his cock lining up with her entrance has Eddie ready to lose it but he holds back. With a slow but hard thrust he’s bottomed out completely balls deep buried in her pussy. “Fucking christ” he moans voice high pitched with pleasure. He thought she was right wrapped around his fingers but this? This is next level.
Another rock of his hips rolls his cock sweetly into her lurching her body against the bed. Lifting her legs up Eddie carefully placing them over his shoulders. Each time his cock comes out even more wet in her own pleasure. She’s completely unaware she’s soaking the ‘freaks’ cock so much.
The thrusts get harder shaking the bed while Eddie fucks into her sleeping form. He has to bite hard into his lip to keep his moans down. “Holy shit sweetheart this pussy is made for my fucking cock, gonna ruin you for any of those assholes” Eddie whispers. His hand moves up to her blouse bunching it up around her neck. Now each time he thrusts into her he can watch her tits bounce.
“When we do this next time gonna make you really enjoy it sweetheart I swear. You’ll be awake and screaming my name.”
“Maybe I’ll bend you over in your cheer skirt and fuck you behind the bleachers let you go back to practice stuffed full of the freak’s cum.”
“Oh shit so fucking tight sweetheart taking me so well”
“Fuck fuck fuck” Eddie groans louder with each obscenity. His cum floods her walls. Once his balls have completely emptied into her pussy he slowly pulls out watching some of his cum ooze from her abused cunt. His fingers are quick to catch it and push it right back in. Eddie takes a minute to catch his breath while getting his clothes fixed.
Big brown eyes are transfixed at her used up pussy. He wonders if once he gets her back to the trailer if she’ll still be asleep enough to go another round. Eddie does his best to get her cleaned up straightening up her clothes before throwing one of her arms over his shoulder. Part of him hates how easy it is to get her unconscious body out of the party but for now he’s slightly grateful for everyone’s lack of care for anyone but themselves.
Tumblr media
(Y/n) groans opening her eyes sunlight filling most of her vision. Her head is throbbing, she feels nauseous, and she knows something doesn’t feel right. She sits up opening her eyes again. Her surroundings are unfamiliar, this isn’t her room or Chrissy’s or any of the other cheerleaders. Looking down she also sees the clothes on her body aren’t her own.
Panic fills her chest and for a moment she worries the vomit might spill from her throat. (Y/n) pushes the blanket away from her legs looking at the oversized shirt with the words Iron Maiden scribbled in a peeling font across the fabric along with a pair of plaid pajama pants. Her eyes dart up scanning her surroundings. Thankfully they land on at least something, or someone familiar. Eddie Munson slumped in a small white chair using his jacket as a blanket.
Small snores leave his opened mouth and his hair is sticking all over the place. This was Eddie Munson’s room. It makes sense given the posters on the walls, the music equipment and the ash tray. Even if things are still a blur at least she knows where she is.
As if sensing her presence Eddie begins to wake up. The snoring stops and his brown eyes slowly blink open. With a deep yawn his eyes finally meet hers and it seems to wake him up instantly. “Shit you’re awake, how are you feeling?” He questioned jumping up from his chair. His jacket falls to the floor with a loud thud as Eddie makes his way over to the bed side.
“Um not great” she answers truthfully. Eddie winces nodding his head. “I’ll uh grab you some water and then we can talk alright?” He suggests. (Y/n) nods watching him hurry out of the room. When he returns Eddie not only has a glass of water but some Tylenol.
“Thanks Eddie” (y/n) sighs gratefully taking a large sip. “Better?” He asks voice still quiet and careful. (Y/n) hums setting the half empty cup back down. “Can I sit?” Eddie asks gesturing towards his own bed. (Y/n) nods pulling her legs towards her body allowing him room in front of her.
“So what do you remember?”
“Not much I remember meeting up with you at the party, arguing with Jason and then it gets fuzzy.”
“After we talked to Jason we were sitting in the living room and you started getting dizzy and slurring your words. I got Chrissy and we helped you upstairs. Jason found us and started arguing with Chrissy yelling at me you know his normal shit.”
“I do kinda remember yelling.”
“She begged me to just go get you some water and when I got back they were both gone and I found you alone in the room.”
“So you brought me to your home?”
“I swear I looked for Chrissy again sweetheart or at least someone who could tell me where you live but I couldn’t find her and no one would trust me with your address.”
“And my clothes?”
“Well you kinda threw up and some got on your shirt. And since you were in a skirt I just pulled the pajama pants up I swear I didn’t look at anything!”
“It’s okay I believe you”
“I just got you here and then realized that might look really bad when you woke up but fuck I couldn’t leave you there”
He looks genuinely worried that she might not believe him or that he’s worried that she’s accusing him of something. Eddie Munson school ‘freak’ slept on a far too small chair in order to make her comfortable in his bed. She had gotten too drunk at a party and passed out and he spent his entire night taking care of her. (Y/n) placed her hand over his giving it a gentle squeeze. “Thank you Eddie” she says softly with a small smile.
“There is more” he says quietly. (Y/n) just looks at him to continue. Eddie takes a deep breath running his hand through his hair. “When I found you your um your clothes were messed up like your skirt was crooked, your shirt was mostly pushed up, and your uh- your urm panties were gone” Eddie explains clearing his throat. “Oh god” (y/n) whispers.
The nauseous feeling returns all too quickly and (y/n) physically pales. “I’m gonna be sick” she mumbles. Eddie is quick to grab the small metal waste basket handing it to her. Not more than a minute later she’s puking up the water since it was the only thing in her stomach. She expects Eddie to turn around but instead he sits at her side pulling her hair out of the way with one hand and stroking her back with the other.
When she’s done he pulls the basket away offering her the water again. Tears prick in her eyes and blur her vision she can’t even make out the glass. Eddie scrambles to set the glass down wrapping his arms around her. She isn’t exactly sobbing but tears are streaking down her cheeks breathing broken and coming in harsh inhales. Eddie hold her tightly to his chest soothing her to the best of his ability.
“Need you to breathe for me sweetheart can you do that? Follow me okay just take a deep breath” he instructs. Eddie shows her by breathing like that himself his chest rising and falling against her. It takes a couple minutes but she starts to mimic his movements. He’s able to calm her down finally.
“I’m okay I’m okay” she sniffles wiping her face. It’s not true she’s definitely still freaked out but she manages to hold back the tears for now. “I looked but uh there was no one close so I settled with getting you out of there but if you want me to go with you to the cops or anything just say the word. Whatever you need from me I’m here” Eddie explains. (Y/n) nods quietly knowing that even if they both went to the cops nothing could be done but it was nice he would be there for whatever came next.
“Are you um hungry?” Eddie asks changing the subject. “Yeah actually starving” (y/n) admits recalling the fact that she barely had five chips and a bunch of alcohol for dinner the night prior. “Let’s get you some food sweetheart” Eddie grins helping her out of his bed. Even through the haziness of the second part of the evening she remembers having a lot of fun with Eddie before the fact. (Y/n) recalls how sweet and charming he had been with her.
“We do have to be kinda quiet my uncle is asleep in the living room”
“You live with your uncle?”
“Yeah he took me in when I was in eighth grade. But he works the graveyard shift”
She quietly follows Eddie to the kitchen leaning against one of the counters while he raids the fridge. “So we don’t have a lot and I’m uh not the most experienced chef but I can make some killer scrambled eggs and toast” Eddie says peaking at her over the fridge door. “Sounds great Eddie” (y/n) laughs. “Perfect my kinda girl” Eddie says grabbing the egg carton and milk. (Y/n) watches him while he collects the supplies with a thoughtful look on his face.
“You know what I do remember last night?”
“What’s that?”
“Having a really good time with you”
“It was a lot of fun princess”
Before the conversation can continue Eddie accidentally knocked over a pan causing it to clatter. “Shit” he mumbled scrambling to pick it up. There’s a groan from the living room and not two minutes later a tired looking older man shuffles into the kitchen. “Fuck I’m sorry Wayne” Eddie frowns. “It’s alright son nice to see you eating somethin before noon” Wayne says with a yawn.
“I’ll get coffee started” Eddie says heading to the pot. Wayne catches notice of the girl standing in the kitchen. He eyes his nephew for a moment before looking back to (Y/n). “You plannin on introducing me to your friend here” Wayne teases. “Oh uh Wayne this is (Y/n), (y/n) this is my uncle Wayne” Eddie says.
Wayne’s eyes widen and he smirks. “Oh this is (Y/n), the (Y/n) I’ve been told so much about?” He asks. (Y/n) looks towards Eddie with a teasing smile. Eddie’s face reddened and he sent his uncle a look. “Wayne man come on” he groaned focusing back on the coffee.
(Y/n) laughed offering out her hand to Wayne. “Nice to meet you Wayne, I haven’t heard much but it’s all been great” she smiles. “You too darlin” he chuckled shaking his head. Wayne grabbed his coffee before excusing himself to the bathroom. “That was humiliating” Eddie sighs going back to his cooking.
“So you talk about me to your uncle?” (Y/n) asks curiously. “I’ve probably mentioned you once or twice” Eddie shrugs. (Y/n) suppresses a laugh offering a kind hand on his shoulder. “Small school not many new faces and names right?” She offers him a way out of his torment. “Right yeah exactly” Eddie smirks.
Eddie thinks he could used to this, cooking her breakfast while she’s dressed in his clothes. Laughing with Wayne, drinking coffee, laughing over burnt toast, he wants the whole nine yards. Now he just needs to hope his plan worked. Little does he know she’s thinking something pretty similar. (Y/n) can’t remember the last time she’s had a better time then the last day she’s spent with Eddie.
(Y/n) spends breakfast getting to know both Munson men. She hears stories of little Eddie, learns about Corroded Coffin, and about why his uncle has so many coffee cups. It’s a nice way to spend a Sunday morning. Even though it’s small the trailer feels like a real home, somewhere happy memories are made. After the fact Wayne begins to clean up while Eddie changes and (y/n) decides to help.
“I promise darlin it’s not a problem I may look old but I can handle it”
“No please really I’d like to help, earn my keep you know”
Wayne shakes his head with a small smile. Once upon a time Eddie had used that very phrase over and over again. “Well alright I’d like the company anyway” Wayne shrugs. The two are quiet grabbing up the dishes they had used.
“You know, Mr. Munson”
“Wayne is just fine”
“Wayne, Eddie is a really good guy you should be proud of him”
“Oh really now?”
“Yeah, I mean obviously you already knew that but knowing Eddie even just a little I imagine that’s not something either of you hear a lot”
“No I reckon it’s not”
“I just don’t know many guys that would have done what he did for me last night”
Wayne doesn’t ask what happened but he does put a reassuring hand on her shoulder. “Well thank you for sayin so darlin” he says quietly. (Y/n) nods giving him a kind smile. The two go back to cleaning up while Wayne tells her another funny story from when Eddie was younger.
A little while later Eddie and (y/n) are sat in the front seat of Eddie’s van. An Iron Maiden tape plays quietly on the radio when the van pulls into her parent’s driveway. It was definitely the slowest Eddie has ever driven in his entire life, hell he thinks he might have broken a law by going so slow. But he was in no rush to get her home.
“So can I walk you to the door or do we need to sneak you in a window?” Eddie muses. (Y/n) laughs shaking her head. “You can walk me to the door if you’d like” she answers. Eddie grins exiting the van with her. The two make the short trip to the door in silence until she’s stood in front of him.
“Well here you are princess” Eddie says gesturing to her house. Not wanting him to leave just yet (y/n) doesn’t turn to leave or enter her house. “Thank you again Eddie, for everything” she says. “It was fun, I’m sorry again about the uh circumstances” Eddie shrugs. (Y/n) nods looking away from him.
Eddie’s fingers fidget at his sides wanting to tilt her chin up and kiss her. Treat this like he was just a normal guy bringing her home from a great date and giving her a goodbye kiss. Only that’s not what this is yet. In her own mind (y/n) is desperate to come up with something else to say. She just wants five more minutes with him.
Suddenly she lights up gently grabbing Eddie’s forearm which startled him just a little. “Your number um can I have your phone number?” She blurts. The second the question leaves her mouth she’s humiliated. (Y/n) was used to being the one being begged for her number and it was usually at the end of a date. “How about a trade?” Eddie grins.
(Y/n) nods with a smile feeling relieved. Eddie jogs back towards his van fumbling around in the front seat for a couple minutes. “Goch ya” he exclaims exiting the vehicle marker in hand. Eddie is triumphant as he hands her the black marker. Uncapping it (y/n) gently scrawls her name against the back of his palm.
Watching her write down each number Eddie feels more and more joyful. Forget the bats and the puppet master, screw the spider or his wyvern. The ink now covering his hand is by far his new favorite. The black inky numbers are made even better when she finishes it with a small heart. For just a brief moment he considers buying a bunch of gloves so he could get away with tattooing it for real.
“There you go” she breathes reaching to hand him back the sharpie. “Looks great sweetheart hurt a lot less than my other ones” he teases capturing his hand in his own. (Y/n) has to look down again staring at the pavement beneath their shoes while he writes down his own digits. She wonders if he’s consciously making the decision to run his thumb against her fingers or not. Instead of a heart Eddie adds a tiny devil head for his own little touch.
When he’s done Eddie uses his teeth to recap the marker while not letting go of her hand. He admires his work for a second before bringing her hand to his lips gently kissing her knuckles. “All done” he says quietly as he lowers their hands. “What do you think do I look metal?” She jokes. “Oh so metal” Eddie teases back.
“I uh guess I should go”
“Yeah me too”
“Thank you again Eddie”
“Don’t mention it”
“I’ll bring your clothes on Monday”
“Sure, yeah sure”
Eddie’s a little surprised when she stands up straight enough to kiss him right on the cheekbone. His eyes go wide, cheeks redden and he’s definitely smiling like an idiot. “I’ll see you Monday Eds” (y/n) breathes before hurrying inside. Eddie’s ringed fingers reach up grazing over the spot she had just kissed. The nickname mixed with the kiss swarm his head and make up for the money he lose out on for the pot well worth it.
Tumblr media
The following Monday Eddie is a little shocked to see (Y/n) waiting for him at his locker. The minute she spots him approaching (y/n) waves with a bright smile. “Well shit if I got welcomed like this every day I just might show up on time” he teases. “Maybe there’s hope for your education yet Munson” she laughs. (Y/n) surprises Eddie again by stopping to give him a hug.
“What’s this for sweetheart?” He questions softly while still holding her close. “I don’t know just feel like I should thank you” she sighs resting her head against his shoulder. “You’ve done that already a few times now, besides it’s not necessary” he promises her as they separate. (Y/n) nods but still looks unsure. Before either can say anything else there’s a yell of her name and Chrissy is rushing over.
The blonde pulls her best friend into a tight hug. “Oh gosh you’re okay! I’m so sorry I abandoned you!” Chrissy frets her eyes glossy. “Chrissy it’s okay I’m alright” (y/n) assures her. “I was so worried about you but Jason got so mad and made us leave and wouldn’t take no as an answer” Chrissy said with a sniffle.
“I’m okay I promise, Eddie made sure I was taken care of” (y/n) explained looking over at him. Chrissy pulled away from (y/n) quickly hugging Eddie. The metal head is taken back too shocked to react to the fact that he got hugged by the two most popular girls in school. “Thank you thank you so much for looking after her” Chrissy rambles breathlessly. “Uh no problem Chrissy” Eddie shrugs.
By lunch time Eddie and (Y/n) have hung out most of the day. Walking together between classes and only separating to sit in their assigned seats, she’d give him a hug before the classes they didn’t have together, and were even partners for a project in second period. Not having fourth period together Eddie is sat at his usual table when (y/n) arrives to the cafeteria making their way over to the Hellfire Club table. The guys take notice of her approaching before Eddie does.
“Holy shit is (Y/n) (y/l/n) coming over to our table?” Gareth Gawks. “Yeah haven’t you heard her and Eddie are real close lately” Jeff teases nudging Eddie’s arm. “Lucas said the whole basket ball team can’t stop taking about it” Mike adds while Dustin is amazed at what’s happening. “Be nice fuckers, and Gareth move over” Eddie growls under his breath. Gareth huffs out an annoyed breath and everyone groans and complains but moves down.
Eddie puts on a bright charming smile as (y/n) steps up to the table. “Hey Eddie, I was wondering if you’d mind if I sat here with you guys?” (Y/n) asks. “Course we don’t mind do we guys?” Eddie asks looking to the others. The others shake their heads still looking shocked or fearful of their club’s leader. “Thanks guys I appreciate it” she smiles graciously taking a seat next to Eddie.
“No problem sweetheart glad to have you join us” he grins. There’s a heavy awkward silence across the table while the group share surprised confused looks. “Is all that cheer stuff hard? It looks really complicated” Dustin finally speaks up just curious and friendly as he always was. The other guys stare over at him in disbelief.
“Oh not really anymore, it’s a lot more physically straining then people think though” (y/n) answers. Eddie sends Dustin an approving smile and nod. “But I think that Dungeons and Dragons you guys play looks crazy hard with all the math and stuff, seriously I respect it” (y/n) continues. The group quickly falls into comfortable easy conversation about cheer and DnD and anything that comes up. Laughter, and joy fills the table, Dustin even snorts some milk from his nose.
At the end of the day Eddie is heading out to his van when he hears (y/n) calling out to him. “Hey sweetheart I was hoping I’d see you before I left” Eddie greets with a smile. “Hey Eds I uh have your clothes” she says offering out the neatly folded bundle of clothes. Eddie accepts the garments and his fingers graze hers. “Oh sweet, the shirt is actually one of my favorites to sleep in” he explains.
The revelation isn’t lost on her that he allowed her to sleep in his favorite pajama shirt and she can’t help but smile a little. “Hey look I’m sorry if I was like all over you today I swear. I didn’t even realize I was until someone pointed it out last period” she admits a look of guilt blossoming on her features. “You didn’t annoy me sweetheart. We might’ve started a few new rumors but what else is new around here” he jokes back.
“That’s probably true, I don’t know I just-” (y/n) trails off with a sigh looking down at their feet. Eddie frowns tilting her chin up with his hand. “Hey it’s alright you can talk to me, I promise. I’m all ears here” he assures her. (Y/n) looked away unable to look him in the eye.
“Ever since what happened at the party I don’t feel safe around the guys on the team. Like I don’t even know who did it or if they were all involved. I just got to school and I didn’t feel safe with my normal crowd and I remembered how safe you made me feel during the weekend so I just kind of clung to you all day without trying to” she rambles nearly out of breath by the end. Eddie’s face softens as he pulls her into a tight hug.
“You’ve got nothin to worry about alright? I’ll take care of you” he whispers kissing the top of her head. Eddie can feel the way she relaxes letting out a breath and relaxing into his touch. “Thanks Eds” she sighs tightening her hold on him. “Anytime sweetheart anytime” he whispers.
She’s smiling a little when they separate. “So how do you usually get home” he asks despite knowing the answer. “Oh uh usually I ride with Jason and Chrissy but I think I’m gonna walk today” she shrugs. “Nonsense, follow me princess your chariot awaits” Eddie grins offering out his arm. (Y/n) now with a much bigger smile happily accepts following him into the parking lot.
Tumblr media
It wasn’t until 6 and half weeks later that Eddie has confirmation that his plan was successful. They were in the middle of first period doing another partner project when all of a sudden (y/n) stopped an explanation short taking off out of the classroom. Both worry and hope fill Eddie’s chest. Somehow he manages to contain himself for about five minutes before getting permission to leave for the bathroom so he can check on her.
As Eddie steps into the girls bathroom he hears the toilet flush followed by broken sobs. He doesn’t say anything as he makes his way over to the stall but he’s sure the chain attached to his pants alerted her of his presence since it sounds like she’s trying to conceal her cries.“Sweetheart it’s me are you alright?” He asks softly tapping against the door. “E-Eddie?” She calls with her voice cracking. “Yeah you rushed out of class pretty quickly so I came to check on you, can I come in?” He asks.
She didn’t answer but Eddie hears the door unlock so he lightly pushed it open. (Y/n) was sat with her knees against the cracking tile floor. Cheer skirt crumpled, hair disheveled, eyes red and puffy, tears streaking down her cheeks. “Oh Eddie my life is over it’s ruined” she chokes out. Eddie sits down next to her on the floor stretching his legs out ahead of him.
“Why do you say that?” He asks voice soft and gentle. Her lip trembles and she has to look away from his gaze. “Because it is, everything is ruined! Everything I’ve worked for is ruined! Cheerleading, school, my friends, everything!” She shouts.
The sobs start fresh again, her eyes squeeze shut in a poor attempt of keeping the tears locked away. (Y/n)’s shoulders shakes and she can hardly breathe between her cries. “C’mere sweetheart” he offers pulling her into his lap carefully. He allows her to do most of the moving and she does leaning into his touch. She turns her head to fall in between his shoulder and neck.
Eddie holds her close, his right hand rests against her back while the other caresses the back of her head. (Y/n)’s hand clutches into his shirt balling the white fabric up in her first. He doesn’t mind the wrinkling shirt or the tears falling onto his skin. “It’s okay let it out I’ve goch ya” he whispers.
Once she’s calmed down her breathing steady and the tears have temporarily stopped she pulls away from the safety of his shoulder. Eddie’s left hand moves from her head to her face and he uses his knuckle to wipe away her tears. “What’s goin on pretty girl?” He asks pushing back a stray hair stuck to her face. “I’m pregnant” she answers almost in a whisper. Thankfully Eddie manages to to bite back a triumphant smile, for once in his usually miserable existence things are working out for him.
“Oh shit that’s big” he breathes. “What am I gonna do Eds” she asks with a sniffle. “Do you uh do you wanna keep it?” He answers her question with another question. ‘Please say yes, please say yes, please please please say yes’ he begs in his head. He’s worked too hard for this.
She swallows thickly nodding her head. “I do yeah I know that’s crazy and stupid-” she starts to answer. “Hey you are not stupid this is a really tough decision but it’s your decision” he answers confidently. She smiles, it’s weak and her eyes are still shiny with tears but it’s there.
“Who’s the father if you don’t mind me asking?” He asks. She sniffles and another tear spills from her eyes. “I don’t know.” The answer is quiet and shameful embarrassed even. “What do you mean?” He continues eyebrows furrowed “Remember how you found me at the party?”
“Are you saying you think someone…?” His sentence trails off like he’s unable to say the word even though he knows the answer. She nods and sobs again. Eddie pulls her back to his chest hushing her and rubbing her arm in comfort. “Fuck I’m so sorry sweetheart, I don’t even know what to say but I’m sorry” he says.
“It’s not your fault” she mumbles pulling away from his chest. “Maybe if I had gotten there sooner this wouldn’t have happened” Eddie frowns guiltily. (Y/n) shakes her head quickly grabbing his hand.“Don’t do that Eddie it’s not your fault. You did so much for me that night and it’s not even your responsibility to take care of me” she assures him.
“I like taking care of you whether it’s my responsibility or not” Eddie promised her. There’s a beat of silence between them and he wishes he could get a photo of the way she’s looking at him right now.
“I don’t know what to do. How am even supposed to tell people?”
“You could tell them the truth”
“No one would believe and I can’t prove anything I don’t even know who did it”
She’s looking away from him staring at her hands in her lap. This is Eddie’s chance he has to do this right otherwise it was all for nothing. “Okay well what if you tell people it’s mine?” He asks. (Y/n)’s head snaps up and her eyes are wider than he’s ever seen them. “Excuse me?” She gawks.
“Well people are already gossiping about us hanging out recently so we’ll just pretend it’s mine, we got drunk at the party and you ended up pregnant” he shrugs like it’s the obvious solution. Like he just added two and two and got five and she was the crazy one for not getting the same. “Eddie that’s insane it would completely derail your life” she argues. Eddie let’s out a snort at her comment. “Sweetheart I’m a super senior who lives in a trailer with his uncle and plays DND and guitar in his free time you’re not derailing anything.”
She seems to search his face for any clue he’s lying or joking. “Why on earth would you do something like that?” She asks genuinely. Eddie smiles at her charming, sweet, loving, innocent.“I uh I care about you (y/n). I’m serious about this but I understand if you don’t want people thinking it’s the freak’s baby either.”
Her hand comes up to cup his face delicately. From the look she’s giving him Eddie knows he’s got her hook line and sinker. “Eddie honey I don’t care if people think it’s yours but won’t you? I mean you have enough issues with people here do you really want to be associated with this too?” She’s practically acting like he’s sacrificing himself for her.
“Y’know I don’t think people thinking I not only slept with the most beautiful girl in town, but got her pregnant would be the worst thing for my reputation” Eddie teases. This earns a small wet laugh from (y/n). “I can’t believe you would do that for me Eds” (y/n) says softly. “I told you I care about you I want to do this, let me do this for you” he whispers. Their faces are mere inches apart he can feel her breath against his lips.
Now or never Eddie takes the risk leaning forward. She doesn’t stop him so he pressed his lips against her own. By book definition it’s probably not technically a perfect kiss. He can taste the salty tears on her lips and they’re sitting on a dirty bathroom floor. But the smile on her face when they pull apart makes it all worth it.
“I’m all in here sweetheart I don’t just mean some guy for you to point at when people ask who knocked you up. Diaper changing, late feedings, baths, all that dad shit. We’ll be a family alright? Together you, me, and this baby we’ll be in this together. This is what I want, you are what I want both of you” Eddie insists.
“You’re my hero you know that right?” She gushes smiling sweetly. “Anything for you princess” he smiles. She’s the one who connects their lips this time hurriedly kissing him. “Now let’s get you off the floor yeah? Can’t have my girl and my baby sitting on the dirty ground can we” he teases.
Eddie lifts her up allowing them both to stand and helps her straighten her cheer skirt. He grabs her bag from the floor tossing it over his shoulder. “Wanna ditch last period? I don’t think I can handle another class today” (y/n) asks. “Now you’re speakin my language, how’s a date to Benny’s sound?” Eddie suggests.
“Sounds amazing I love their milkshakes!” (Y/n) exclaims excitedly. Of course he already knew that along with which one’s her favorite. Eddie grins a content Cheshire grin offering his arm out for to hold onto as they make their way out of the school.

Janelle woke up with a groan as she felt her baby pressing directly on her bladder. Sitting up in the bed she let out a shocked gasp when Josh let out a snore from his spot on the bed. She hadn’t even heard him come in. Groaning again, she waddled into the bathroom, letting out a sigh of relief as she relieved herself.  After washing her hands, she checked her phone for the time. 6:30 am. Sighing, she made her way to the kitchen to make Xavi’s lunch for school.
“You wake up way too early” She said in greeting to her dad, who was sitting at the island with a cup of coffee, reading the news from his IPAD.
“I already packed Xavi’s lunch.” He said when she went to open the fridge. When she turned to him and arched her eyebrow he added. “He said he likes my sandwiches better.” She laughed and grabbed something to drink instead.  “My grandbaby got you up?” She nodded as she finished off her juice.
“Yes,” She groaned as the baby moved again and was now pressing even harder on her bladder. “He loves to kick my bladder.”
“Did y’all come up with a name yet? Got less than a week til he gets here.”
“I know.” She said grunting as the baby landed another hard kick. “I’m having a hard time choosing and Josh.” She stopped and shook her head with a chuckle. “He wants to name the baby Jeyson.” Her dad arched an eyebrow.
“What's wrong with that?”
“J-E-Y-S-O-N, Like Jey’s son. His wrestling name.” Her dad threw his head back and laughed.
“I like Jason though, the normal spelling.” She nodded her head in agreement.
“Yeah, but I don’t want Xavi to feel left out, you know? With me, Josh and the baby all having J names.”
“Ask Xavi for a name suggestion then.”
“Already did, and I'm not naming my son Bluey.” Her dad laughed again.
“Yeah, if those the only options, I'm leaning more towards Jeyson.” Her dad said and she rolled her eyes with a smile.
“Me too.” She laughed before standing up and stretching. “I gotta go wake Xavi up for school.” Before she could leave the kitchen, she felt a warm sensation down her legs. She turned to look at her dad, embarrassed because she thought she had peed on herself.
“Did your water just break?” He asked, staring at her wide-eyed. She gasped and stared back at him.
“Oh shit.” Her dad jumped up immediately and started yelling for Josh. Her dad helped her to the car before running as fast as he could up the steps to wake Josh up.
Tumblr media
Everything happened so fast, one minute she was standing in her kitchen then the next she was laying in a hospital holding her newly born son.
“He looks just like you.” Josh whispered as watched in awe as his son gripped his fingers.
“What should we name him?” Janelle asked, wiping the tears from her eyes. She couldn’t take her eyes off of her baby. He was literally a perfect mixture of both her and Joshua.
“I’m still rockin’ with Jeyson.” He said, laughing softly when she gave him a side eye.  “Or we could name him Bluey. Those are the only choices we have.”  Janelle laughed softly, so she wouldn’t wake the baby up.
“I never knew naming a child would be this hard.”
“Knock-knock” They both looked towards the door when it opened and Josh’s mom poked her head through. “I got someone who’s very excited to meet his baby brother.” She said and laughed when Xavier squeezed through the spaced between her and the door to get into the room.
“Is that him?” He asked. “He’s so tiny.” Xavier frowned his face up, making everyone laugh.
“Yeah, he’s just a baby bud.” Janelle told him. “You wanna hold him?”  When Xavier nodded, Josh took him over to the sink to wash his hands before helping him sit next to Janelle on the hospital bed. “Ok, just make sure you hold his head ok?” She asked and placed the baby in Xavier’s arms.
“Hi baby.  I’m your big brother.” Janelle ‘awed’ as she watched Xavier place a kiss on his little brother's head.
Tumblr media
“Jeyson Edward Fatu.”
Janelle shook her head and Josh sighed.  “Nope, I don't like it. It flows but no.”  Xavier and his mom had just left and she and Josh were still trying to find a name that fit their baby boy. “I’ve always liked the name Malachi.”
“Malachi.” Josh said the name to see how it sounded and he liked it. “Ok I like Malachi. What about a middle name?” When she shrugged he added. “What about your dad’s name?”
“Malachi Nathaniel?” Josh nodded
“Yeah I like it. Xavi has my name as a middle and Malachi can have your dad’s.”
“Okay.” Janelle said, looking down at her baby boy who was bundled up in her arms.   “Hello Mr. Malachi Nathaniel Fatu.”
“He’s gonna cry. You know that right?”
Janelle nodded. “Yeah, male sure you have your camera ready.”
Tumblr media
About 2 hours later, Janelle’s dad walked into the room carrying a balloon that said ‘it’s a boy.’ a stuffed elephant and a bouquet of sunflowers.
“Look its grandpa’” Nathaniel immediately set the stuff in his hands down and went to wash his hand.
“Oh!” He cooed as he picked Malachi up from the bassinet.  “He looks just like you Nelly.
Did y’all pick a name yet?” He asked, then frowned when Josh started recording him.
“Yeah, we did.” Janelle said, bringing his attention back over to her. “Meet Malachi Nathaniel Fatu.”
“Shut the fuck up.” He said, his eyes already welling up with tears.  Janelle laughed. “You gave him my name.” He set Malachi back down before giving Janelle a tight hug, his body shaking as he cried into her shoulder. “Thank you.”

“do you wanna do something fun? do you wanna go to taco bell?”
honestly cady would probably be dino, but the possibly of vernon being cady is just too funny to pass up.
vernon: im from africa
deekay: so if ur from africa… then why are u white
hoshi: oh my god dk… u can’t just ask people why they’re white
vernon: cady. a very funny twist on the new girl from africa. like wdym you don’t wear a whole zombie bride costume to the slutty halloween party?
the only thing historically accurate about dino being cady would be the beef between her and regina (seungkwan), but that’s just semantics
(plus the comedic value of having vernon as cady far outweighs the realistic plot benefits of dino as cady)
jeonghan: regina’s mom. “you’re doing great sweetie!” like who else would encourage all of seungkwan’s bad habits so naturally? just one camcorder video at a time… also gets his tits chewed off by a chihuahua #rip
joshua: aaron samuels. absolutely heartthrob. aaron literally is just smart and sporty but also lives with his mom and spends most of his time helping her at home. this is literally just josh. our fav church oppa
jun: janis. just the chic cool vibes. just like a very cute and lovely janis. also lesbian
mingyu: damian. too gay to function? yeah, that’s him. he will never defeat the gay allegations. and he wants his pink shirt back!!! he wants his pink shirt back!!!!!!
seungcheol: glen coco. just received 4 candy canes from santa!damian (mingyu) for doing absolutely nothing. you go glen coco!
also seungcheol: ms. norbury — but only because he would probably escalate the situation instead of diffusing it.
woozi: mr. duvall (the principal) bc his main trait is having a crush on ms. norbury and being anti-slut/whore-shaming. also has carpal tunnel syndrome??? so on-brand
-
more but just for shits and giggles:
also mingyu: jason. bc ofc he and gretchen (hoshi) would have a rocky relationship
mingyu: is your muffin buttered?
vernon: what
mingyu: would u like us to assign someone that will butter your biscuit
vernon: my what.
seungkwan: is he bothering you? mingyu why are you such a skeez?
hoshi: you were supposed to call me last night
bc the mingyu x hoshi beef will still continue into the mean girls universe
minghao as the lady who tells regina (seungkwan) her dress doesn’t fit and she needs to go to a different store → “u should try sears☺️”
wonwoo as regina’s dad that comes out only once and it’s him crying at regina’s halloween costume
dino as the bus driver that hits regina george (seungkwan)
-
everything about this to me is so funny

The Princess Bride Musical Dreamcast
The fact that with all the new broadway musicals are adaptations and NO ONE has done the Princess Bride yet is absolutely criminal, so if that were to hypothetically happen, here's my dream cast list.
Framing Device:
Grandchild: I can't really put anyone for grandchild, since I don't know many child actors, but I do think there should be a rotating cast, like they had with Mathilda on Broadway.
Grandfather: Mandy Patinkin, aka the original Inigo Montoya.
Mother: Robin Wright, aka the original Princess Buttercup.
I think it would be really sweet and fun to have two of the original movie's cast play parts in the framing device, almost like they're passing the baton of telling the story to the next cast.
Main Story:
Westly: Joshua Henry
I don't know if this is a controversial statement, but Westly is a baritone, and I think Joshua Henry would be absolutely perfect. He's charming as fuck, he's a phenomenal actor and vocalist, and he's absolutely gorgeous. Perfect leading man for a story that is about telling the best story ever.
Buttercup: Maria Bilbao
I think Buttercup would be a legit soprano, and as a big fan of Sweeney Todd and the recent revival, Maria Bilbao, who played Johanna, would be absolutely perfect for it. Just go listen to her Green Finch and Linnet Bird and you'll get it.
Inigo Montoya: Colman Domingo
Does Colman Domingo sing? I don't know. Could he act the absolute SHIT out of the confrontation between Inigo and the Six-Fingered Man? ABSOLUTELY. I have this vision of how to adapt the scene, which would also kinda translate Inigo's arc to a musical version. So in the original, the Six-Fingered Man trying anything to manipulate him, mocking him, that great "you have an overdeveloped sense of vengeance line, and Inigo is just not having it. He just keeps repeating the iconic line over and over again. In the musical, I would have the six-fingered man sing, like he's trying to get Inigo to sing with him, to give in to the performance, but Inigo won't sing, he just keeps repeating his line over and over. He refuses to conform to the typical "rising above" narrative and leave the Six-Fingered Man alive, he will be true to himself and his mission and won't let himself be distracted. Anyway, I don't know if this is a good idea, but Colman Domingo would be amazing either way.
Prince Humperdink: Aaron Tveit
I think Prince Humperdink should be the archetypal tenor boy and who is a better representation of current archetypal tenor boys on broadway than Aaron Tveit? Also he's really talented and I think he would act the shit out of this smarmy bastard role.
Count Rugen aka The Six Fingered Man: Josh Groban
I need Josh Groban on Broadway more, and I think he would do great at a quieter villain role, especially coming off a more angry and bloodthirsty role like Sweeney Todd. Also he looks a bit like the original Count Rugen, so that's a bonus.
Vizzini: Alex Brightman
I don't really have much behind this one, other than Vizzini is a weird little guy and Alex Brightman plays weird little guys really well.
Fezzik: Jason Segal
So ideally, I'd actually be able to cast an actor with gigantism to play the part, but I don't know of any, and couldn't find any while googling, so this is my backup essentially. During the lockdowns, a bunch of celebrities did The Princess Bride over zoom, and the scene with Rainn Wilson as Vizzini, Pedro Pascal as Inigo and Jason Segal as Fezzik is genuinely really great, but Jason Segal's Fezzik impression is spot-on and actually amazing. Also, we know from the Muppet Movie, How I Met Your Mother and Forgetting Sarah Marshall that he can sing so, I think he would do great.
Miracle Max and Valerie: Joey Richter and Lauren Lopez
I assume posting this to Tumblr, more people would know who Joey Richter and Lauren Lopez are than the average social media platform, but they are part of Team Starkid and Tin Can Bros and do some fantastic original musicals (please look up the Hatchetfield Trilogy and Spies Are Forever if you haven't seen them yet). They're both extremely talented performers, and also married in real life, so they would absolutely kill this.
Clergyman(Mawage guy): Brian d'Arcy James
I don't really have much of a reasoning behind this, I just think he'd do a good job.
Backups/Close Calls:
Denee Benton as Princess Buttercup
She's one of the best parts of Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812, and that's saying something because that musical is (in my opinion) one of the best of all time
Pedro Pascal as Inigo Montoya
I don't know if he sings, and he would be amazing for this, but I wanted to challenge myself to think outside the most obvious choice. However, sometimes the obvious choice is a good one.
Bernadette Peters as Valerie
If the Witch from Into the Woods found love and inner peace

TBOSAS review
Tumblr media
The film is so fast-pace, plot focused, some scenes was cut from book, some scenes was adapted for better because it's adaptation, it did a great job to source, movie was spilt as 3 acts, the first and middle acts is the best, complex and so intense, the final is good, thriling but need more time to process, it's a little rushes, it came from A1, A2,B1,B2 to C1, that's it, it's my point, but it's not a big deal, because the final is so good that made you forgive that.
Cast
Tom as Snow, this is breakout role, he showed how complex snow was, and yeah, you might fall for his charm but in the end, he's still Snow that you love to hate, he nailed it, people will fall in love in Tom.
Rachel as Lucy Gray, you can take her frame, but you can't take her talents, she is Lucy Gray, who's charming, mysterious, her acting is oscar worthy, her singing is the one of the best part that I couldn't wait to see her as Snow White. she is the star of generation.
Josh as Sejanus, he did a great job for baby mama who want to change society but still naive to understand human, his range is so good, when he cried, I'm heartbroken.
Hunter as Tigris, she is natural, her scene is not much, but she showed how minimal Tigris that connect to us, and it's so good.
Peter as Casca, he didn't do much but as his standard, ate.
Viola as Volumnia, she gave us haunting, terrifying, powerful nightmare.
Jason as Lucretius, hot and scene stealer, his dark humor made people laugh awkward.
Burn as Commander Hoff, HE IS SO HOT, but his role is so cameo, we need more of him!!
8.5/10
I recommended all of you, book fans, movie fans, moviegoers
Don't miss this film.

“He’s really not so bad once you get to know him.”
“Chrissy. He’s a menace.”
Chrissy Cunningham had always been like a little sister to you in high school. She was two years younger and always looked up to you as the captain of the cheer squad. You had taken her under your wing for those two years you had overlapped in school. Ever since you moved back to Hawkins this summer and Chrissy finally graduated, you and her had rekindled your friendship.
Even if her taste in male friends could be astonishingly bad.
Chrissy’s apartment was absolutely perfect for her. It was close enough to Hawkins that she could stay in touch with all her friends from back home, yet far enough of a drive away that she could finally get some distance from her overbearing mother. Best of all, it was down the street from the liberal arts college where she was a freshman this fall.
It was the weekend before Halloween, and Chrissy was throwing a costume party at her new apartment. You had volunteered to help her decorate it during the day before the party started, and she’d graciously agreed.
“He’s not a menace,” she insisted while she hung the plastic bat decorations you’d brought on the popcorn ceiling of her living room. “He’s just…misunderstood.”
“He must have brainwashed you.”
“Now you’re just being dramatic.”
“All I’m saying is, it’s only a matter of time before he personally victimizes you, too.”
She shrugged. “I dunno, he’s always been really nice to me.”
“That’s just because he hasn’t yet found a way to throw you under the bus for something he wants.” You were in the kitchen filling bowls with chips, and once all the chip bags were empty, you decided to get started on the punch. “How much liquor do you want in the punch?”
“How much did you bring?”
“Two bottles.”
“...Two bottles, then.”
You laugh and begin pouring the vodka and rum. “I really don’t understand why you’re friends with him,” you told her.
“I told you, he was my plug for a while. Don’t look at me like that, Y/N,” Chrissy giggled. “I was going through a lot of shit after you graduated. I needed something to take the edge off.”
“Hey, I’m not judging. I’m just surprised.” You gave her a level look, and your Big Sister voice came out. “You’re doing better now, though, right?”
Chrissy nodded, her ponytail bouncing. “Tons. Especially after I broke up with Jason.”
“I can’t believe you and I both dated a Carver.”
Chrissy’s eyes went wide. “Oh my god, I totally forgot that you used to date Josh!”
Joshua Carver was Jason’s older brother, and your boyfriend your senior year. You laughed and shook your head. “He was such a jerk.”
“So was Jason. The worst.”
“The worst,” you agreed.
“Why do the Carver brothers both suck?”
“Good question.” You finished stirring the punch and started putting out stacks of red solo cups. “Repressed mommy issues and a distorted definition of masculinity?”
“Throw in ‘raging superiority complexes’ and that sounds about right.”
The two of you laugh together, but the melodious duet was tinged with the sense of mutual relief.
“At least you and I both know our worth now,” you added more solemnly.
Chrissy nodded confidently. “The boys I’ve met in college are really cute…” She waggled her brows, and you threw a chip from the plate at her playfully. She laughed and dodged it effortlessly. “Anyway, I promise Eddie Munson’s not as scary as he seems.”
“It’s not that I’m scared of him.”
“Then what?”
“We just… hate each other.”
“But…why?”
“Long story,” you dismissed her.
She pursed her lips. “He never said anything to me that made me think he might hate you.”
“Oh, trust me, he can’t stand me. He’s made that very clear.”
Part of you begins to think…would you even despise Eddie Munson half as much if he wasn’t so outspoken about his disdain toward you? How much of your feelings about him was purely reactionary?
“I never told you what happened?” You studied Chrissy.
She shook her head. “Nope.”
“He almost got me suspended for cheating off my American History essay our senior year.”
“What? You let him cheat off your essay?”
“No! I—no, I just let him borrow it, so he could see how I formatted everything. I didn’t know he was going to plagiarize it.”
Truth be told, you used to find Eddie Munson tolerable, once upon a time, before the incident. More than tolerable…you even liked him. In your eyes, he had been harmless, albeit a bit nonconformist. He always ran with his own crowd, and you ran with yours. All throughout middle and high school, you and he hadn’t really paid each other much heed. That was, until your senior year, when you shared an American History class and he sat behind you.
Eddie had been different back then…scrawnier, less brazen, less intimidating. But also goofy, sweet, endearing. You couldn’t help but be drawn into his warm eyes and sweet smile. You hadn’t been sure at the time why, all of the sudden, he had taken an interest in befriending you. After all, you had been popular, a cheerleader, the embodiment of everything he was so readily against in society. But when he tapped your shoulder one day and asked for a pencil, you were hooked in. One thing had led to another, and he’d asked if you could tutor him, and you started hanging out after school, started trusting him. Started becoming perhaps more than friends.
And the next thing you knew, you were in the principal’s office being accused of academic misconduct for aiding and abetting plagiarism.
You had realized too late that he’d only pretended to befriend you so he could take advantage of you. He was failing History, and you, acing the class as usual, just so happened to be the one he chose to prey upon for his own gain, to save his own ass and pass the class to graduate. And, of course, it hadn’t worked, seeing as he’d only managed to get you kicked off the squad and get himself held back another year.
You shook your head at the memories and continued to Chrissy.
“Point is, I trusted him, and he screwed me over. He’s a piece of shit, and he was just desperate not to repeat senior year. But he’s the reason I got kicked off the squad at the end of my senior year.”
“You got kicked off the squad?” she gasped. “I thought you quit?”
“That’s what I told everyone at the time.”
Chrissy was chewing on her bottom lip. “I didn’t know all that. I only knew about the thing with Josh.”
There was more to the story.
Josh had heard from you what Eddie had done, and he’d taken it upon himself (and the basketball team) to “teach that freak a lesson”—in other words, they’d dragged him under the gym bleachers and beaten him up. All things considered, though, Josh and his buddies had always hated Eddie without cause, and the plagiarism incident just gave them an excuse to do what they couldn’t justify doing sooner.
You cringed at the memory. It had been bad. You had no idea Josh would go as far as to attack Eddie like that. Even if it was in your honor, you could never condone violence.
“Josh was way out of line for what he did to Eddie,” you admitted to Chrissy. “He shouldn’t have done that. And we broke up the week after that. But the point is, Eddie Munson’s a lying prick who will tear everyone else down to get what he wants.”
“But what if he’s changed?” Chrissy says. “I mean, that’s really shitty what he did, with the essay. But what if he’s different now?”
You considered her words. “I guess. You probably know him better than me, Chrissy. But he never apologized to me, not once.”
That was the real kicker. It wasn’t even the cheating thing in the end…it was the fact that he never apologized. That he had used you, that he had led you to believe that you could trust him, that you and he were friends, that maybe there was something more blossoming between you, when really, it was all a ploy.
And moreover, it was the fact that he still wouldn’t apologize to this day. That he just kept making excuses instead. That’s the real world, baby. Open your eyes.
“Wow. I’m really sorry, Y/N,” she said sincerely.
You smiled a little. “It’s fine. It was a long time ago. Honestly…I’d probably forgive him if he just apologized. But he won’t. I’m glad he’s been nice to you, Chris, but he’s such an asshole to me. You should have heard him yesterday at the haunted house, or the day before that at my dad’s store. Then you’d understand why I never want to see him again.”
You tried to focus on how infuriated you’d been at Eddie’s antics. You tried not to think about things like Eddie’s brown eyes as they trailed down and up your body before locking on yours. Or the rings on his fingers as he drummed on the counter. Or the intoxicating scent of his skin. Or the way his jeans fit so snugly on his limber hips. Or his—
Stop it.
Chrissy was biting her bottom lip with her eyebrows furrowed.
“What?” you asked her.
Her face snapped back to normal. “Nothing.”
“What?” you asked again.
“Nothing, I swear. It’s just… I’m, uh, I’m just worried about the party tonight. Do you think we should have made more punch?”
“Don’t worry, people will bring beer and stuff.”
“...Do you think anyone will come?”
“Of course they will. Weren’t you just telling me how many new friends you already made this semester?”
Chrissy finally beamed and began telling you about her semester, the friends she’d made in her new sorority, how great it was to be away from her parents. The two of you worked while you talked, continuing to set up the apartment for her Halloween party. She was grateful you were there early to help out; you were grateful for a chance to get out of the house and be around college kids your age again. You had to admit that hearing about Chrissy’s freshman year made you long to be back in school again, back with your friends from Purdue, in your third year of classes like you were supposed to be. But if all went well working for your parents back in Hawkins for the semester, your reprieve from college life would be brief.
By the time the first party guests started to arrive, the apartment looked picture perfect: pumpkins, skeletons, ghouls, spiders, and bats filled every nook and cranny. Orange construction paper around the lampshades gave everything a perfect jack-o-lantern glow, along with the string lights draped along the walls and ceiling. Before long, the apartment was lively with the sounds of chatter and laughter as people greeted each other and compared costumes.
After taking a few shots together to get in the party mood, Chrissy had tasked you with manning the turntable until another one of her friends arrived who had volunteered to take over DJing duties. She had spent hours sorting through her albums for the party and selecting the best choices, and you started the evening off with some standard hits. And as for your costume, you’d decided on simple, yet effective: a green jumpsuit you’d snagged from the mall last year, makeshift naval emblems and patches, and aviator sunglasses, à la the female version of Tom Cruise in Top Gun.
You didn’t know anyone here, but that was nothing a few solo cups full of punch wouldn’t fix. Once Chrissy’s DJ friend had arrived, you beelined for the kitchen to get a refill. It was only about 9pm at this point but the party was already a hit. You smiled as you looked around at the partygoers; Chrissy must be elated at how many people had come. Someone had brought weed, and soon, the apartment was filled with smoke that cast the lights in a soft orange glow.
Someone came up behind you, and the smell of marijuana strengthened. You turned around and came face-to-face with Michael Myers. Rather, a cheap rubbery Michael Myers mask.
“Maverick,” the masked partygoer said, gesturing to your costume.
“Mr. Myers,” you greeted him back. Michael doesn’t say anything more, just holds out a lit joint. You shrugged and accepted his offering, taking a long drag and coughing a bit. From the dining room, a group of people cheered as a round of beer pong finishes up. You gestured to it with your thumb. “Wanna play?”
Michael said nothing, just nodded and followed you to the table. Aside from his mask, the mystery college boy wore dark, nondescript clothing that didn’t stand out much to you. You wondered what his major was.
“Ladies first,” Michael says, formally gesturing to you. You smile and snatch the ball for your first throw.
“Wow, such a gentleman. You a friend of Chrissy’s?” you asked him as you took the first shot. The ball bounced off the rim of a cup and Michael Myers dutifully retrieved it for you.
“Yep, you could say that,” he responded in a low voice that you had to strain to hear over the boom of the music. “And you?”
“We go way back.”
Michael takes his throw and the ping pong ball plops in the centermost cup. You fish it out and put the cup aside.
“Don’t you have to chug that?” he notes.
You laugh. “It’s water.” Chrissy didn’t want beer all over her dining room floor.
“That’s no fun.” He observes your next throw and cocks his head when you miss again. Everything is starting to feel pretty trippy from your hit.
“Hmm… How about…loser shotguns a beer?” you offered.
“Deal.” Michael took his next shot and it didn't even hit the table. You snickered at him. “You go to school with Chrissy?” he asked.
“Oh, I don’t go here. I go to Purdue.”
“Purdue,” Michael echoed in that mysterious, low voice of his. “Is that where all the pretty girls go to college?”
Hmm. Brazen. You kind of liked it. You smirked and continued to play. Michael was annoyingly good at beer pong, and you wondered how he could even see out of his mask. His dedication to wearing it was truly remarkable. But you were gaining on him, and before you knew it, the two of you were tied with one remaining cup each.
And with your last shot, with everything seeming to move in slow motion, your ball landed in your last cup, spinning around the rim. But before you could celebrate, in one swift motion, Michael Myers lifts his mask halfway and darts down to blow a puff of air into the cup. Your spinning ball gets blown out of the cup and onto the ground.
“Hey! Not cool!”
Several onlookers chuckled around the table. You catch sight of Michael’s mischievous grin before he lowers the mask again. You cross your arms defiantly.
“You like to play dirty, is that how it is?” you said with a raised brow.
“I bet you can handle dirty, Miss Maverick,” Michael said. Something about his words made you pause, but your spinning mind quickly washed away any thoughts.
It ended up being a close game, but the mystery man won in the end. You pretended to be mad and dipped your fingers in a cup to flick him with water. Michael feigned shock as he held a hand to his heart and looked around dramatically, and you laughed. As you went back to the kitchen with him, he didn’t touch you, but he was close enough that you could feel the warmth emanating from his body.
Michael withdrew a can of beer from the fridge and held it out to you. “A deal’s a deal,” he murmured.
You sighed and pierced the can with a key, popping the tab. He watched as you dutifully chugged its contents. After finishing and wiping your mouth, you squinted at his masked face.
“Who are you under there?” you drawled.
“Your worst nightmare,” he said back.
“Are you, now?”
Something about him drew you in. You didn’t know what that said about you, having a proclivity for masked men dressed like serial killers. Was that fucked up? Perhaps you shouldn’t look into it that deeply. The man was fit and radiated some sort of confidence you hadn’t observed before, maybe a confidence only harbored by anonymity.
The party’s designated DJ changed the song then; “Master of Puppets” by Metallica, a drastic change of pace from Madonna and a-ha. Michael Myers perked up at the sound of it and started miming a guitar and headbanging. You giggled and leaned against the counter, watching him. The room was spinning pretty hard now. You’d never been crossed before, and it wasn’t half bad.
A few other Metallica fans in attendance at the party cheered from the living room. Michael Myers joined them. It was quite the sight, watching them jump around like idiots and mime various instruments until enough people complained about the noise and the DJ switched the song to “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” by Tears for Fears.
You weren’t sure how it happened exactly, but there were enough people in the crowded, dimly-lit living room that you were sucked into the middle of the mass dancing bodies. Not that you minded. You danced right with them, until you were suddenly aware that you didn’t know a single person here. Where was Chrissy?
You bumped into a familiar body. Michael Myers was still in the crowd. He steadied you with his arms, and you smiled up at him.
“I love this song,” you drawled.
“This song sucks,” he responded. You could barely make out the big eyes behind the mask as his eyelids fluttered.
“You must hate fun then, Mr. Meyers.”
Michael laughed, the sound low and rumbly and strangely intimate. Maybe it was just the weed-alcohol combination, but you felt inexplicably drawn to him in that moment. You guided Michael’s hands from your arms to your waist and indicated for him to start dancing with you. He was a bit stiff at first, but he loosened up, and soon enough, you and him were dancing so close that your bodies were all but pressed up to each other?
What was it that made him so irresistible to you? Was it simply the air of intrigue about his anonymity? Or was it something else? God, your intoxication was making you feel all sorts of things. You traced your hands down his chest and you felt his hands squeeze around your waist a little. You wished he would go lower with them; was he too much of a gentleman for that?
Teasingly, you pinched the bottom edge of his mask, easing it off, curious to know the face behind it.
You heard your name from behind you. A pair of hands wrenched you from Michael Myers’ arms, and you met the wide-eyed expression of Chrissy.
“Chrissy! I haven’t seen you in forever!”
She smiled dazedly and then blinked over your shoulder. “You’re dancing with…with—?”
“Michael Myers!”
“Y/N, that’s…”
There was a commotion by the front door as more people came in. You watched Chrissy’s eyes widen even more as she realized who it was.
“Oh my god. What the hell are they doing here?” she gaped.
You followed her gaze and your stomach dropped. It was the Carver brothers. Josh, your senior year boyfriend, and his carbon copy younger brother, Jason. It was the strangest experience seeing Josh again, two years after you’d dumped him. They sauntered into the already crowded apartment like they owned the place, flanked by an entourage of jocks.
You whirled around to Chrissy. “Oh my god.”
“You didn’t invite them, did you?” she asked.
“No! Did you?”
“Of course not!” She frowned at them again, clearly panicking. “But…I did invite Patrick McKinney…”
Sure enough, standing behind the Carver brothers was who you remembered to be Patrick, looking rather guilty at having brought along Chrissy’s ex to her college party.
Before the boys could notice you and Chrissy, you grabbed her arm and wheeled her to the hallway out of sight. “Those assholes,” you muttered.
“I can’t believe they showed up.”
“And they’re not even wearing costumes.”
“Can we tell them to go away?”
“You know the Carvers. They’ll just make a scene.” When Chrissy started chewing on her thumb, you said, “Listen. We just have to pretend like they’re not here.”
“Why did they even come?” she fretted.
“Probably because they both feel like they still have some kind of moronic claim over us. They’re assholes. But we can’t let them ruin the night.”
“What do we do?”
“Show them that we don’t care.”
“Make them jealous?”
“No, not jealous. Maybe we just…make them see that we don’t belong to them anymore.” You scanned the crowd in the living room. “Where’s that guy from your poly sci class you were telling me you invited?”
Chrissy gestured to a guy who looked like a buffer version of Jason. “Anthony?”
“Perfect. Go flirt with him and pretend Jason isn’t here.” Maybe it was a stupid idea, but it seemed reasonable at the time, given your current state of mind.
“What about you?”
“I’ve got someone in mind, don’t worry.”
You spotted Michael Myers again and made a beeline for him before Chrissy could say anything else.
As you approached him, you touched his arm. “Did you get lonely without me?”
“Serial killers don’t get lonely,” he joked in that low voice. You glanced behind his back; Josh hadn’t spotted you yet.
You moved closer to your mystery college boy, your mouth so close to his mask that you were brushing against it. “Everyone could use a bit of company, though, don’t you think?”
He didn’t say anything, didn’t move, but he leaned toward you almost imperceptibly. The room seemed dimmer and smokier than before, the music louder, the living room even more crowded. The atmosphere almost buzzed, and your senses all seemed to run together. You wanted another hit.
“Still got that joint?” you asked him. He dug around in his leather jacket, withdrawing the same joint from earlier that he’d preserved.
“Are you sure?” he murmured from behind the mask. You nodded, and he beckoned you over to the side of the room where it was less crowded. After lighting the joint, he offered it to you. In lieu of taking it between your fingers, you leaned into him and took a hit while he was still holding it. Your lips brushed against his fingers.
He rolled up his rubber mask, revealing his nose and mouth, and again, the sight of it elicited a little red flag in the back of your brain. You didn’t know why; you were beyond crossed at this point. But as you watched him take a long drag, entranced, the warning signal in your brain seemed to dissipate like the smoke he exhaled.
You reached up and touched his lips with your fingertips. The music and the crowd all melted away.
“I kind of wanna kiss you,” you murmured. God, how high were you?
He didn’t respond, but his beautiful lips parted. You leaned in closer, taking in the scent of him. Weed intermingled with cologne, cigarettes, musk.
Why was that such a familiar scent?
He wasn’t leaning in back. But he wasn’t leaning away. You hesitated, waiting for him to pull back—after all, you and he were strangers who’d just met. The music and people around you faded.
You were so close to him now that your mouth brushed against his. His warm lips parted as he let in a small gasp, a sound that tugged at the pit of your stomach. You felt him lean ever so slightly toward you, and his mouth fit against yours—
“Y/N?”
It was Josh, standing behind you.
You broke away from Michael Myers and whirled around to the sound of your ex. You appraised him apathetically. “Why are you here?” you deadpanned.
Being face-to-face with your ex again was quite the trip, especially while you were literally tripping. He was somehow even bigger now than he was back in high school—or maybe it was just the way he was puffing out his chest like a gorilla trying to establish dominance over the other males in the room. His jaw was working in overtime as he assessed you and Michael Myers.
“What are you doing?” he demanded.
“I could ask you the same. I don’t remember Chrissy inviting you here. What, are you stalking us now?”
Josh glared, ignoring your words. “Who the fuck is this?” he said, gesturing over your shoulder.
You narrowed your eyes. “That’s none of your business.”
But it was too late; Josh was already squaring up with the other man.
“Are you some kind of perv?” Josh spat. He reached for the mask, but the other man swatted his hand away. “Take off the mask, bro.”
Michael Myers went tense.
“Take of the fucking mask,” Josh repeated.
Dejectedly, Michael Myers removed his mask, revealing a sweaty-faced Eddie Munson.
Oh my god.
“Eddie?” you gaped.
“Munson?” Josh intoned.
You couldn’t fucking believe how stupid you were not to realize it before. The dark clothing on his limber frame, his reaction to hearing Metallica, the stupid scent of his skin you couldn’t distingush at the time over the smell of marijuana. How had you not fucking realized it was him?
You realized in that moment just how drunk-slash-high you truly were. Like, really fucking drunk-slash-high.
“What’s this freak doing here?” Josh spat at Eddie.
For once in his life, Eddie seemed not to have much to say. His face was red.
Josh turned to you. “Wow. I guess college really turned you into a fucking whore, Y/N. The Munson prick? Really?”
“Oh, fuck you—”
“Don’t speak to her like that,” Eddie snarled at Josh.
You whirled on him. Since when did he care? You felt strangely offended that he had the audacity to stand up for you.
Josh neared Eddie so close that his puffed chest almost touched Eddie’s. “You don’t get to talk, perv.”
You wrenched Josh away from Eddie by the back of his shirt. “Go away, Josh. No one invited you or your dickhead little brother here.”
Josh glared at you. “You know, I came because I still care about you, Y/N. You need someone to—”
“You’re not my boyfriend anymore,” you spat. “Go away.”
The two of you stared at each other hard for a long while before Josh came to his senses and backed off. He collected his brother Jason, who was staring at Chrissy but thankfully not engaging with her, and dragged him out the front door angrily.
The world still spinning, you turned to Eddie again and shoved his chest.
“What the fuck, Munson?” you shouted at him.
He smacked your hands away. “I could say the same,” he retorted, anger flooding his features. “Using me to get back at your asshat ex boyfriend? Real classy, princess.”
“What? I—I didn’t know it was you,” you hissed back. Realization began to hit you. Oh my god. “But you knew it was me.”
You weren’t wearing any kind of mask, just your Top Gun-inspired costume. He knew it was you the whole time.
And he hadn’t pulled away when you tried to kiss him.
The dickhead. He had the audacity to smirk at that exact moment. The smugness on his features made you want to punch him all over again.
“I think you don’t hate me as much as you pretend to,” Eddie sneers.
“You tricked me,” you sputtered.
He just shrugged. “What was that again, the thing you said about kind of wanting to kiss me?”
Humiliation bloomed across your face. “That was before I realized it was you, asshole.”
“The grand facade’s crumbling now, sweetheart. You like me. Don’t deny it.”
“As fucking if!”
“Denial ain’t just a river in Egypt, you know.”
You were so infuriated that you felt dizzy. You felt really dizzy. And unignorably so. You gripped the wall and fought a wave of nausea.
Eddie spoke your name. You vaguely registered the concern in his voice amid your nausea. “What’s wrong? Are you okay?”
You pushed him aside and ran for the bathroom. By the mercy of the heavens, it was unoccupied, and you promptly ejected everything you’d consumed that evening into the toilet. You were so out of it that you didn’t realize Eddie had followed you into the bathroom until you felt the cool press of his silver rings on the back of your neck, smoothing your sweaty hair away.
“Go away,” you groaned, spitting the bitterness from your mouth.
Eddie didn’t move. In contrast to the sweet tenderness of his fingers on your neck, his voice was acidic. “Not surprised a girl like you doesn’t know her limits.”
“Fuck you.”
“You’d like that, wouldn’t you?”
You puked again, and he held your clammy forehead. You could have been imagining it, but you swore you heard him apologize then. As another wave of vomit came up, he waited for your convulsions to finish before he murmured that he’d be right back. A few moments later, he returned with an empty solo cup, which he filled with water from the sink and handed to you. More grateful than you were willing to admit, you rinsed your mouth and spat. You realized his hands were on you again, smoothing back your hair from your forehead, but you didn’t say anything about it.
“Why didn’t you say it was you?” you croaked, gripping the porcelain with white knuckles.
“You gonna be okay? You seem really crossed.”
“No shit, Sherlock.” You looked at him wryly. “Answer the question.”
Eddie cocked an eyebrow. “Well…Chrissy invited me, which is why I was looking for a Halloween mask. Found one, by the way.” He held up the flimsy Michael Myers mask. “I didn’t know you were going to be here either, for the record.”
You cursed silently in your mind. Damn Chrissy. That must have been why she had been acting so strange. She’d invited him before she’d known the situation between you two.
He still hadn’t really answered your question, so you asked another one. “Where’d you get the mask?”
“What?”
“The mask. We don’t carry that one at my parents’ store.”
“Borrowed it from a friend,” he replied. “I take it you like it?”
“Seriously? You’re such a creep.”
“And you’re such a priss,” he accused, his tone changing. “Did you plan that shit with Josh? That was a real dick move, Y/N.”
“First of all, don’t call me that. And second of all, I didn’t know he’d be here either, obviously. He’s the last person I wanted to see at this party.”
“Oh, so not me?”
You gritted your teeth. “In case it wasn’t obvious, I wasn’t thrilled to see you here, either.”
He hummed, an intoxicating sound, as he regarded you with a belittling expression. “Hmm. Your actions earlier begged to differ.”
“Screw you.”
“You know, before your meathead ex came, I couldn’t wait to take off the mask. Just to see the shock on that pretty, bratty little face of yours when you realized it was me.”
“So that’s why you didn’t say it was you? You just wanted to piss me off?”
“No. I wanted to confirm a suspicion.”
When he didn’t continue, you shot him a look of exasperation. He leaned in closer, his dark eyes glinting with subtle wickedness.
“I had a feeling you still like me like that. Like me more than you pretend to hate me. Like me enough to kiss me. And I was right.”
You gaped. “You are seriously disturbed. Like seriously fucked up in the head, Munson.”
“You get so testy when you know you’re wrong but just can’t admit it. It’s cute.”
Amid your nausea, your fury flashed. “Josh was right about you. You’re just a pretentious, self-centered perv.”
Eddie’s expression darkened. He set his jaw and just stood up and backed away toward the door. You immediately regretted your words. But you couldn’t take them back, not when you felt another flash of nausea.
“You’re so full of shit, Y/N,” he said.
“Blow me,” you responded.
He didn’t say anything more, but you heard him leave the bathroom as you puked again.
You weren’t left alone for long, though. Eddie must have found Chrissy and sent her, because she came in a few moments later.
“Shit,” she said, immediately wetting a washcloth with cool water and pressing it to your neck. “I’m so sorry, Y/N.”
“I’ll be fine.”
“No, I mean, I’m sorry I didn’t tell you that Eddie would be here.”
You really couldn’t stay mad at her—not when you already felt this shitty, not when she was being so kind and helping take care of you. “It’s okay,” you whispered.
“I should have told you. It’s just—he’s my friend, and you’re my friend, and I was worried you wouldn’t have wanted to stay at the party if you knew he was coming, and I wanted to tell you that it was him with the Michael Myers mask, but I didn’t get a chance—”
“Chrissy.” You grasped her hand. “It’s okay.”
She squeezed your hand and smiled sheepishly. “Are you going to be okay?”
“Yeah. I just smoked too much, I think. Did Jason see you?”
“I think so, but he didn’t approach me. I gave Anthony my telephone number, though. He was super nice, we—” She cut herself off. “Never mind, that’s not important right now. What the hell happened with you? I saw Josh storm out with Jason—and then Eddie, he looked…”
You sighed. “Was he upset?”
“Well, he didn’t look happy.”
You felt a strange combination of emotions toward the man. Anger that he hadn’t revealed himself to you, frustrated about his accusations that you were attracted to him.
Panic that you were, in fact, attracted to him.
All of that, mixed with the guilt of the names you’d called him, and for the compromising position you’d put him in with Josh. Who was, for all intents and purposes, Eddie’s former high school bully.
You propped yourself up so your back was resting on the bathtub and did the best you could to summarize everything to Chrissy through your waves of nausea. She couldn’t get past one small detail from your narrative, though.
“So…you’re into Eddie, too?” she asked when you finished.
“What? No, I’m — wait? Are you into Eddie?”
Chrissy laughed and shook her head. “No. He’s just a friend. That’s not what I’m saying. I—okay, I know I shouldn’t say this, because I know you guys hate each other or whatever. But Eddie’s liked you since middle school. Like, like liked you. And he still does—or, at least he still did a few months ago, last time he brought it up.”
You reeled. “What are you talking about?”
“He has a crush on you, Y/N.”
You shook your head. The motion made you see stars. “No. No he doesn’t.”
“Yes, he does. It’s so obvious, too, even if he hadn’t told me.”
“But he’s an asshole.” You pressed the palms of your hands to your aching temples. “If he has a crush on me, then why is he such a dick to me?”
Chrissy mused for a moment. “One time, when I was in grade school, this boy—his name was Chucky Lars, I remember—used to yank on my ponytail everyday at recess,” she said. “And one day when I tried to tell my teacher about it, she said he probably was being mean to me because he just liked me. So…maybe it’s like that with Eddie?”
“Chrissy, that’s so fucked up.”
Chrissy shrugged. “Yeah, it is. I don’t know. I mean… Maybe it has to do with Josh?”
You chewed your cheek. Did Eddie blame you for what Josh and his cronies did to him behind the gym? You remembered seeing Eddie in passing the week after the incident. He had a black eye; Josh had got him good. It made you feel disgusted to think you were dating someone who was capable of that violence against another person, even if what Eddie had done to you was unfair with the plagiarism.
Which is why you’d broken up with Josh later that day.
But you had never spoken another word to Eddie about it, about anything.
All this time, had he been holding a grudge against you…because he thought you’d been behind Josh’s vindictions?
Did Eddie dislike you as much as you disliked him because of a misunderstanding that you’d put your ex boyfriend up to beating him up?
Too much to think about. Your thoughts span. Luckily, your head and stomach were starting to feel better.
Hesitantly, you heaved yourself up onto your feet. Chrissy held her hands out to steady you.
“You okay?” she asked.
“I’m good. Fuck, I’m never getting crossfaded again. This shit sucks.”
“I’d pity you, but it’s your own fault,” Chrissy laughed. “Do you wanna come out to the party, or do you wanna go lie down in my room for a bit?”
You pondered. “Can I sit on the couch?”
“Sure, but just warning you, my friend JJ from philosophy was sitting there when I left. He might try to chat your ear off about optimistic nihilism.”
“That doesn’t sound half bad.”
You carefully followed Chrissy back out to the party, which had mellowed out significantly since your departure to the bathroom. But as you settled onto the couch beside JJ, who was just launching into a critique of Nietzche, you couldn’t help but notice the way your eyes were scanning the room, absentmindedly looking for Eddie.

Harley becoming part of the Batfam was too much. She's now joining the Justice league. She’s everywhere. There is now escaping her now. she's now DC's token antihero. This is truly my villain origin story. This is truly the darkest timeline. Josh Williamson will never be forgiven.
Harley Quinn, known killer of children and generally all around morally lacking villain, joining the Justice League is going to be my 13th reason. I never liked her being part of Batfam either. Especially when Jason was getting beaten within an inch of his life just because Bruce had assumed he'd killed a villain. Especially not when Talia's character has never recovered from the role of "evil, cold, heartless, abusive mother", despite much of the worst having been retconned out. But the Justice League? When Harley has no sense of justice? I need people to shut up about her being a victim, because that doesn't change what she does of her own volition, separate from the Joker.
Reason #24 Williamson needs to step away from DC.

the magicians s1e12
guys i'm having so much fun with this rewatch (recap reminds me that richard killed his son through neglect and q betrayed alice with the threesome and julia's about to get duped by a fake goddess) um
this kitchen reminds me of the season 4 apartment but i'm having fun so i'm not gonna think about season 4
such a small thing but i have beef with the dude imbuing kady with faith by doing something for her like. i guess we disagree on what faith is!
you can't unring a bell so be certain when you call, julia!
poor penny getting stuck babysitting three neurotics and one alice (not neurotic relative to everybody else In This One Thing)
cannot get over q being the one who initiated it. i just can't.
jesus christ jason ralph is so hot
in 2015 you could sell an audience on the badassery of a line just by including the term patriarchy
please alice drinking triple sec :'''-)
we talk about alice's style being sexy librarian but it reads much more to me as a girl who knows she could fall at any second into twee oblivion so she's styling it in dark colors. i'm waiting for an owl necklace.
ooh! dionysus, okay!
i did NOT remember her hooking up with richard. but. i'm fine with it.
mannnnn i love julia wicker so much she is the epitome of the girl with an inch-thick tough exterior filled with love all the rest of the way through she is so special and good
fucking "didn't think you had that in you" go to hell quentin! oh MY cheating is okay YOUR consensual sex outside of a relationship is BAD! again this is why i hated him the first time around
How I was feeling about Quentin would have got us all killed. :l
i kind of feel like if he was a real person i would have bullied quentin coldwater or at least been very rude to him. sorry quentin!
lol the "janet" "actually it's margo" "this time" joke went over my head last time
I PLANNED MY WHOLE OUTFIT AROUND THAT BOTTLE !!!!!
truth serum is toxic and banned? interesting
"oh i was kind of poking around in the dark with that one" lollll my baby
quentin WOULD always bring up groundhog day. also he's actually stronger than me because if fogg told me i'd been killed in these exact circumstances 39 times i would absolutely lose all hope and try and beat the beast to the punch
penny has chemistry with everybodyyyyy
i'm in love with julia's pier one ass apartment
julia and q's reunion gets me so good !!!!! so bad !!!! "you smell the same" wow you guys should be friends forever for your entire lives and you WILL be!
julia calling god magic "some pretty eclectic shit" like it's a limited run pressing of a neutral milk hotel b-side
cool, useless, kind of gross
julia's destiny is to find a whole new kind of magic. do we think this happens? what is this referring to do we think?
the LOOK q gives julia after "richard gave it to me" so much immediate understanding and shit-stirring delight
it's crazy, like, not crazy but crazy that eliot stays so torn up about mike
"yeah, no, it still sounds bad."
JOSH HOBERMANNNNNNN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
please i did not remember that they were all going to fillory in like fucking ren fair cosplay
MAGIC IS FOR FIXING THINGS JULIA SAYS (also "if fixing things was easy everyone would do it" because somebody needs to fucking validate quentin now and then)
despite my indignation on julia's behalf i do love the choice of isolating her from the academic environment of brakebills, i think it adds a new dimension and texture to her knowledge and understanding and engagement with the world around her and i like that so much
it's fucking crazy that q and jules just... do horomancy. like horomancy is such a big fucking thing the rest of the show and in this ep they just do it!
alice's light bending feels so much like a superpower, it's so rare that they let magic seem that magical but they let it happen there and i love that
margo hanson i love you and your gun forever
the moment jules and q step through the telephone booth always kind of gets me it's so much of what the promise of the show can be it's so lovely

Is there time for another werewolf Steve? 🤭
Sure is! I run this until 11pm MST, you have plenty of time. :D
WIP Wednesday! Make me write! Other asks here and here.
Snippet
Josh ran off with Carol and they were chatting like old friends.
Nancy came up behind Steve and put her arm around his waist. “This was a really good idea. He gets to see how much we are the same and how special we are without all the negative mind dump the general public feeds him.”
Steve hummed. “I’m concerned about some of the things he was telling me on the way in about how negative the portrayal of us is. I need to talk to Wayne, but since he’s busy with Jason and Patrick, Eddie will have to do.”
Nancy poked his ribs and he squirmed.
“You just want to see your boyfriend,” she teased.

Until Dawn: Thoughts And Theories
So, since so many of you wanted to know my thoughts of the game, I decided to put this post together with how I did and all of my thoughts. I wanted to get this done right after I finished the game but I haven't been feeling too well lately and wanted to make sure I got all my thoughts down. I know it's been a month since I finished the game but I just couldn't finish this until now. 😂 And I'm sure I still missed a few things but it is what it is. I'll just post them afterwards. 🤷‍♀️
I saved 6 out of 8 characters. Jessica got her jaw ripped off when I chose to run as Matt and Sam got impaled by Hannah during the very last "Don't Move" sequence. (Why does she look happy about it though??? 🤔🤨)
Tumblr media
I mean, she's literally like:
Tumblr media
19/20 Clues found for the twins.
25/27 Clues found for 1952.
22/30 Clues found for mystery man. (Probably because Sam got caught by the psycho and I didn't get to find the room full of Josh's stuff. 🙄🤦‍♀️)
26/30 Totems found.
If I was to rate the characters from my most favorite to least favorite, it would have to go:
Josh (Surprise, surprise! 😂)
Sam
Chris
Mike
Ashley
Jessica
Matt
Emily
I don't know, guys. I understand why Emily could be a bitch at times. I really do. But fuck, she still gets on my nerves! 😂 I will admit though, she was smart. And I did feel bad for her when she got bit by the Wendigo and Mike pointed the gun at her and she crawled up onto the table and curled up in a ball because she was so scared. She got my mercy with that one. I'm an asshole sometimes but I'm not that much of an asshole. 😂 But she was also cheating on Matt with Mike which made me lose any bit of growing respect that I had for her. Which means that there was a possibility that Mike was also cheating on Jessica. And if that's the case, WHAT THE FUCK WAS MIKE THINKING?! CHEATING ON JESSICA WITH EMILY?! WAS HE BLIND?! Speaking of Jess and Matt, I wish we got more of them. I get why they did this, but they just disappeared for several chapters until the very end and when they did return, it was so short. I feel like we didn't get a chance to really get to know Matt too. I didn't expect to like Jess as much as I did but I did grow massive respect for her after seeing what she went through. Hell, I didn't even expect to like Mike as much as I did and here we are!
Ok, speaking of Mike. Who else spent half an hour making Mike pet Wolfie? 😂 Like, I'm sorry Jason and Salim but Mike and Wolfie are the best duo, hands down! But anyway, I needed more of them in the game. 😅 MIKE AND WOLFIE DLC, PLEASE!!!
The acting was phenomenal. The reactions were on point. (Other than Beth going "Where. Is. My. Sister. Going?" at the start. 😂) But the part where Emily found the skeletons or when Mike and Sam found the hanging dead body, their reactions were perfect. (Even though they mention "all the bodies" even if it's the stranger hanging there. I think they only recorded dialog for if any playable characters died and were hanging there as well.) In most games, when characters find dead bodies, they barely react. (Like Rachel in the blood pit in House Of Ashes.) So, this was nice to see and only added to the fear I felt while playing. I knew that Rami Malek was a brilliant actor but I had no idea jut how phenomenal he was until playing this game. Watching Josh have his mental breakdown literally brought me to tears and I could feel the fear he felt just by the shaken sound of his voice. (I'll never get the sound of his voice while saying, "I don't take orders from you. You can't tell me what to do anymore." Or when he was screaming as Hannah carried him away, out of my head. 🥺)
Tumblr media
Speaking of Hannah. I found it really stupid of the other characters to be surprised by Hannah's reaction when she found out it was a prank. They knew Hannah well and knew she had a HUGE crush on Mike. And Hanaah seemed like the shy and insecure type of girl so taking off your shirt infront of the guy you liked was probably nerve wrecking as fuck enough. (Even though he was Emily's boyfriend, so Hannah was in the wrong for doing that. Actuall, fuck that! Emily cheated on Matt! You go, Hannah! ✊🏻😤) But realizing all your friends are in the room, laughing at you and RECORDING IT?! That would have been horrifying! How were they so stupid to think that it wouldn't upset her?! I do wonder if Hannah held a grudge against Sam regarding the whole prank situation. Because Sam ran in after the prank had been pulled and said "It was just a stupid prank." Hannah probably thought that Sam knew about the prank and didn't do anything to stop them, even though she did try to do something before it happened. And Sam didn't go after her when she ran off, which probably added fuel to that fire. Which would make sense as to why Josh involved Sam in the pranks as well, because from what he seen, she didn't really do anything to stop it.
Honestly, Josh's prank was fucked up, yes. I mean, kidnapping your friends, putting them in fucked up Saw-like traps, recording your friend naked in the bath, etc. It was a bit much, I'll agree to that. But it wasn't the most fucked up prank I've seen. I've seen people do WAY worse to their friends. 😅 I was more impressed that he pulled it off so well by himself. I've seen people say they are confused as to why he went so hard on Sam and Chris when they weren't in on Hannah's prank but I have a theory. Chris was considered the "hero" in Josh's little horror movie. He was "the guy who gets the girl". He said himself that Chris and Ashley needed something traumatic to happen to push themselves into each other's arms. That's why he waited to reveal himself until they confessed their feelings for each other. As for Sam, if he was actually hold a grudge against her for what happened to Hannah and Beth, I don't think he expected her to be the fighter she was. He might have been caught off gaurd with the chase because he planned on capturing her and locking her up so she wouldn't interfere with the other traps and such. But when he fails and she gets away, you can tell he's frustrated as hell about it because it didn't go to plan. That, or she was the "final girl" in his story. He wanted to see how well she fought against him. There was also another theory on Wattpad that's a part of a really good theory collection book (I'll link it at the end of this.) That Josh did what he did to Sam to make her stronger. At the start, she seemed more kind and a "by the book" type of girl, so to speak. But by the end she seemed stronger and willing to do whatever she needed to do to save herself and her friends. Like when Josh starts chasing her, she runs in fear, maybe throws a vase first but then runs. But when she was dealing with the Wendigos in the lodge at the end, she literally yells at Hannah to save Mike. She doesn't run away but she stays behind to help Mike put an end to things. Maybe Josh seen the strength in her and wanted to bring it out? He seen what she was hiding behind her "good behavior" and wanted her to come out of it strong and brave. He wanted her to be herself. He said that he showed them parts of themselves that they were too afraid to visit, and maybe that's what he meant? She was too worried about being morally strict to be the strong woman she was, so he forced that part of her open. I think his motives with Chris and Sam was to make them better people, not to actually fuck them up or anything.
Did you guys also notice that he only shows his "death" to Chris, Sam and Ashley? I don't know if he is really close to Ashley but he was with Chris and Sam so maybe he wanted to see how they reacted to his death? To see if they were all really as close as he thought? Even then, I don't think he and Sam were as close as Sam thought since she didn't know so much about him that went down with his mental health and suicide attempt and such. I think he let her into a small part of his world and she thought it was bigger than what it was. Which would explain why she was so heartbroken by him in the end.
So, I watched the best ending and noticed something about Sam. One line in her interview stood out more than the others. The officer asked if she needed to talk to somebody about it and she yelled "I'm fine!" When you find Josh's phone as Sam, you see messages between him and Dr. Hill and he also texted "I'm fine!" Could this be repeating a cycle? Josh went mad from the grief of losing his sisters and pushed everyone away and Sam goes mad from losing her close friend/possibly best friend and pushes everyone away as well? I hope not, but it seemed like that.
On the other hand, when Mike tells Sam that Josh got dragged away by Hannah in the mines, she literally does a, "Yes, very sad… Anyway!" and starts fucking with the light switch. You were so close to the guy and yet you barely gave a fuck when you found out that he possibly died?! What?! 😂
My top ships were Ashley and Chris (Is it even a ship if they are canonically together? 🤔), Mike and Sam (Though I loved Mike and Jess together, Sam and Mike just seemed like a better match to me. They both loved animals and they were both badass as fuck, so-), Jess and Matt (They were two of the youngest of the group and so cute together towards the end.), and Me and Josh… Ehem… 👀
Speaking of Sam and Mike, actually, this part sealed the deal for me. The fact that he jumps up and runs to grab her arm when the Wendigo spirit goes after her and then continues to hold her after is just too damn sweet. 🥺💖 (Don't mind Mark cheering in the corner. 😂)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Anyway, the game was a 9 out of 10 for me. (I'm knocking off a point because we can't save Josh. 😑)
But yeah, this game was amazing and it will definitely stay with me for a very long time. I get the hype now. I really do. 😅 Now I just wonder what happened afterwards? Did the cops believe them or were they found guilty for murdering Josh? Did the events bring them closer or push them farther away like the first trauma had done a year ago? Oh, well. We'll never know what really happened afterwards. We can only guess. But one thing I do know for sure from all of this: Josh would have made one hell of a film producer. ❤
(Also, if you want to hear some other really good theories and thoughts on the game, check out this theory book on Wattpad by BiscuitBites. They are all pretty interesting ideas.)

Book Review
Tumblr media
This is the second book out of three in The Friend Zone series by Abby Jimenez. It takes place two years after the first one ends. You can read my review of the previous book here. You do not have to read it before reading this, but I recommend doing so. This one was actually written first, and then the author wrote The Friend Zone as a prequel afterwards.
Sloan Monroe is driving along one day when a lost dog named Tucker suddenly jumps into her car. She tries to contact the owner several times, but he does not respond so she takes him home and begins caring for him as if he is her own. It turns out the owner - Jason Larsen - is a musician touring in Australia, so Sloan agrees to keep Tucker until he gets home. As they text and talk on the phone with witty and flirty banter over the next two weeks, they begin to develop a connection. When he comes back and they meet in person, it doesn't take them long to realize they have feelings for each other. However, Jason is about to leave again to go away on tour for ten months. Sloan and Jason will need to decide if they are willing to make sacrifices and compromises in order to be together.
I think I liked this book even more than The Friend Zone - which I really liked A LOT. One thing it addresses is navigating through the challenges of newfound fame for Jason and Sloan individually and as a couple. It was great to see Kristen and Josh from The Friend Zone again and find out what they've been up to! I love the friendship between Kristen and Sloan. I also loved how genuine and patient Jason was. I was not happy with some of his actions and behaviors towards the end of the book, but everyone makes mistakes. The characters are realistic because they are not perfect and they have flaws just like everyone else. The plot moved along nicely and I loved how well thought-out it was, down to every last detail between both books. I was very satisfied with their Happy Ever After, and there actually is a Playlist with a relevant song assigned to each chapter. I hope Kristen, Josh, Sloan, and Jason will make some appearances in the third book!

Instincts (Pip x Ravi One-shot)
It was finally over. Pip and Ravi could finally let the world know the truth. Sal was always innocent, but no one had bothered to look past the surface. Everyone has failed him including the cops, but was that surprising? For years people had looked at Ravi's entire family as monsters because of one lie. Now it was over, and they could finally get some peace.
Except there was something terribly wrong. As they left Pip (or Sarge as Ravi affectionately called her) with Becca something in his gut was screaming not to leave her alone. He told himself he was being ridiculous. Becca had no reason to hurt Pip, and the killer was behind bars.
As they were driving to the festival for the first time in years Ravi wanted to enjoy himself. He was trying to, but there was something reminding him how Sal got freed in the first place. Gut instincts had gotten them this far. Even when it was wrong they were closer to the truth. Instincts kept people alive, and he'd be damned if Sarge wasn't going to be alive because he ignored them.
"Stop the car,"He demanded.
Everyone turned to look at him except for Josh who was playing on his DS.
"Stop the car. There's something wrong with Pip,"He explained. "How do you know?"His mom asked. "I don't, but I do. Look, we only found the truth because we trusted ourselves. Please, trust me,"He pleaded. "We'll go back to look,"Her father agreed. "Check her location. We need to be sure."
Her dad pulled over and unlocked his phone. Ravi couldn't see the phone, but he could see her dad's face pale before twisting in horror.
"She's near Jason Bell's company. Why would she be there?"
"Then that's where we need to go,"Ravi told them firmly. Even Josh was listening now. Normally he would be upset by missing the festival, but this was his sister. If his sister was in trouble he was going to help her.
"Okay. You keep looking at her location. Tell me if it changes,"Her dad directed. Ravi nodded as his stomach kept doing almost painful flip flops. He could never live with himself if something happened to her. She wasn't just Pip. She was his hero, his partner in crime, and most importantly she was Sarge. He didn't doubt her strength for one second. He doubted Becca's intentions with her.
It couldn't have been more than a few seconds, but it felt like days or even weeks when they made it. Before anyone could say anything he jumped out of the car and ran towards where the phone said she was.
He stopped and looked up to see Pip, but she wasn't alone. She wasn't conscious either. There was Becca dragging her with a tear streaked face. It was unfathomable that Becca could be the one crying when Pip was the one being dragged.
Ravi could only stand there in shock as he heard faint footsteps behind him. It wasn't that they were actually quiet, but all sounds were muffled to him.
Becca stood there with her mouth agape staring right back at him. She wasn't running or coming to attack him. Instead, she had accepted her fate. Soon she'd be behind bars. Maybe she'd even be there until she died.
From around them red and blue lights were flashing. Sirens were ringing almost making it possible to properly hear again. The cops had done something right for once.
Detective Hopkins was there with his gun drawn. Becca only put her hands up showing defeat. She was going to accept anything that came her way, but she didn't want it to be bullets.
A cop walked behind Becca and handcuffed her while reading her rights. Becca had watched plenty of cop shows as a kid to know them. Back then she had innocence and a bright future. Look where she was now.
"We need to ask you some questions. Come with us,"Detective Hopkins said, putting a hand on Ravi's shoulder. He shook it off and stared at the man in disgust. He didn't deserve his title. He had failed his brother, and the only reason he didn't fail Pip was because of a phone call.
"I know you're upset about Sal."
"Don't you dare say his name. Do you know what you helped do? I had to move schools because of the beatings. Even the teachers hated me because you failed him. My parents suffered the loss of a son because of you, but yeah. I'm just upset that you killed my brother,"Ravi spat, giving a bitter laugh. "I'm not a killer,"Hopkins defended. "Not directly, but you made him look like a monster. Thanks for rescuing Sarge though. It's about time you didn't fail someone I love.",
Ravi didn't say another word as he walked to the ambulance Pip was being put in.
"Sorry sir. Family only,"The paramedic said, lightly pushing his back. She had seen what young love could do. She didn't even need to hear the conversation. She could see it in his eyes.
"I need to be with her,"He argued.
She sighed remembering what it was like for people to watch someone they love die. They couldn't save everyone. Life didn't work like that. She was about to repeat her words when Pip's mom spoke up.
"He is family. Let him in."
Ravi was surprised, but nevertheless he was grateful. The paranormal knew time was limited so she let him in.
The ride was almost silent. It was just Ravi and Pip's mom not knowing if she would make it. Ravi had faith in her, but he knew she wasn't indestructible. Even our heroes are only human.
The rest of the ride to the hospital was spent with silent tears and prayers. His prayers had never been answered before, but he needed them to be this time. He could lose his Sarge. He couldn't lose the girl he loved.
----
Ravi had obviously been in hospitals before, but ever since that day with Sal he found a way to avoid them. Even when he was sick he refused to go back to the smell of disinfectant and the cold air that was supposed to help the ill.
For Pip though he would do anything, even if it killed him. Even if it reminded him of every agonizing memory he would do it for her. He felt like he owed her that much. She felt like he owed her nothing, though she couldn't say that just yet. They were waiting for her to open her eyes and make some kind of remark because that's who she is.
Together the two families sat together waiting for her. At some point they would become one, but that takes time.
Josh was in the corner of the room with his legs curled up to his chest. The normally relaxed he always had seemed to be wiped away. It almost reminded Ravi of him. Of course the circumstances were different, but the idea was very much the same. Their beloved sibling was lying in a hospital. The difference was Pip would wake up.
Ravi was more than aware of these facts, but he already grew to care for Josh. Even if they already knew Pip would be conscious soon he was still her brother. To be less specific he was human, and the majority of humans have fear and empathy. There was more than enough in this room to go around.
"Hey buddy. Do you mind if I sit?"Ravi asked, moving away from Pip. No matter how badly he wanted to be by her side when she woke up he had the urge to comfort the little boy.
"I guess,"Josh shrugged, unable to take his eyes off his sister. In his simple kid mind if he kept watching her breathe she couldn't stop.
"She's going to be okay. Sarge is strong,"Ravi assured him. "Who's Sarge?"Johs asked, refusing to move in any way. The average person blinks twelve times per minute, but extreme or traumatizing situations seem to change the way we behave. Josh hadn't blinked for an entire minute and thirty seconds.
"Pip. Pip is going to be okay,"Ravi clarified. "Dad called her pickle. She hated it at first,"Josh responded, sounding like he was in a trance. "What do you call her?"Ravi asked, taking the approach of distracting the little boy. It was clear no words of reassurance were going to help. "I call her Pip it Pippa,"Josh answered.
Together they sat listening to the beep of her heart rate. Each beep seemed to fill the room with more oxygen. Even though the nurses explained she hadn't been given enough to kill her someone still tried to murder her.
"Pip really likes you. She writes about you in her journal,"Josh stated. "Why are you reading your sister's journal?"Ravi asked, pretending his heart didn't flutter at the thought of her writing about him.
"That's my job as her brother. As her little brother I also have to look after her so be a good boyfriend to Pip."
"Boyfriend?"Ravi asked, too shocked to get out any other words. Josh didn't notice the disbelief in Ravi's voice nor did he care. He might be a kid, but he wasn't stupid. To be fair Pip and Ravi were far from that as well, but they were blind.
"Yes. I am giving you my blessing,"Josh stated, sounding much older than he actually was. He was only repeating a phrase from a television show he heard his parents were watching when he was supposed to be in bed, but the sentiment was there. It didn't take away the fact that they were still powerful words. Of course the truth always is. That was learned in the most memorable and unfortunate way possible.
Pip opened her eyes disoriented and confused. Josh sat up staring at his sister who was finally awake. Ravi snapped his head over to see her staring at the ceiling. The emotions that ran through the room changed in an instant.
Even though Ravi's parents hadn't known her very long they still cared for the girl who brought justice for their son. As for their other son, she taught him how to smile again. In a way they had lost both their children for a while. At least now they could have one child back.
"Come on bud. Let's get you a drink,"Their father suggested. Josh cocked his head puzzled at why they were leaving, but he was hoping to get a Pepsi.
One by one everyone left the room until it was just Ravi and Pip. He walked to his original seat directly next to her and pulled it out. Pip was going to ask questions once she was all there. That's one of the things she does best. Technically, anyone could ask questions, but people rarely go to the lengths she did to get the answers they seek. Pip was different though, and even if she didn't see it he did. He saw the spark in her the same way she saw the strength in him. They were Pip and Ravi, partners in crime, detectives, mystery solvers, friends, and most importantly soulmates.
They would do anything for each other, and they would see just how deep that ran very soon. Until then they'd rely on Instincts to keep them going. There was another thing that would keep them going as well. They would keep each other going.
There was plenty of time to think about that later though because their story wasn't even close to ending. This is only the beginning of the bittersweet mess that is their love.

Recast your choice of King Arthur media?
i couldn't decide which one i wanted to do more, so you get two!
quest for camelot, again, ideally in a cool live-action remake format which i get to be in charge of writing the script for, because my nostalgia wants this story to be so good so bad:
kayley: jessie mei li. she can keep their piercings if she wants because that would look dope as all hell. AND WE'LL GET THEM IN SOME PROPER ARMOR.
garrett: kristen stewart. can you not just hear her delivering all his delightfully mean and weary lines. can you not just see the pain on her face when kayley leaves for camelot. fuck. i'm emotional now.
ruber: JASON ISAACS. he was MADE for this role. maybe we can even write him a better villain song, as a treat. i think jason isaacs has earned a villain song at this point in his career.
...and camelot, cast with the stage in mind, but will also GLADLY accept this as a film adaptation, too (so i can access it, whenever i want):
arthur: RHYS IFANS. PLEASE. GOD'S PERFECT CAMELOT ARTHUR FOR THIS CENTURY. i need this. i need this for my health. i need this to live.
guenevere: sierra boggess. i'm gonna be real honest here. camelot guenevere annoys me. considerably. but i will do it. i will do it for sierra.
...no. actually. no. if i wanted to really embarrass myself, and properly convey the agony it would give me to be attracted to a camelot guenevere, there's only one option. the nightmare i live with every day. she even sings.
taylor swift.
yeah. that's got me in the right mindset of adoration and despair.
lancelot: josh young. what can i say. tennyson's description of lancelot's coal-black curls in "the lady of shalott" was very formative on me. plus he's got a TERRIFIC lock on despair, c.f. his judas.
mordred: mike faist. might as well do that to myself, if i'm making rhys ifans arthur and josh young lancelot. just like that story about maria theresa getting her teeth pulled while giving birth.
nimue: katrina lenk. i would also be hypnotized by her voice and happily follow her to an enchanted cave. she caught me slipping.
i generally defer to @venusofsuburbia for hot old men who know magic but i'd be extremely into seeing robert carlyle as merlin. it's the once upon a time brainrot. i will also take this opportunity to shoehorn in sarah brightman as morgan le fay, if we're including her in this production.

The Beekeeper
In an early scene of The Beekeeper, we quickly learn what kind of man Jason Statham plays. He has captured a nest of pesky wasps in a large paper bag. He doesn’t bother to spray them with a can of bug killer… that’s too easy. Instead he inserts a neon tube into the bag and applies a portable battery to the exposed end. As the neon tube lights up, he smashes the tube - the gas disperses into the bag and we see electrical sparks killing the wasps inside. That tells us everything we need to know about what kind of assassin Statham is.
”The Beekeeper” wants to be the next John Wick style franchise… wait a minute! (Every Jason Statham movie wants to be the next John Wick style franchise!)
Statham plays a retired assassin of a super secret organization called the Beekeepers. They are above the law and are charted to root out the causes of trouble in society and “Protect the Hive!”
Phylicia Rashad plays a kindly old lady who rents space in her barn to Statham to keep bees (he is literally a beekeeper). After a scam operation tricks her into giving up the passwords of all her accounts (including $2 million in trust for charity) she is grief stricken and commits suicide. Statham decides to avenge her death by eliminating the company running the scam.
When I saw the first John Wick movie I counted the number of people Keanu killed. I stopped after 95. I won’t recount the entire plot of The Beekeeper but believe me when I say the body count far exceeds that of the John Wick1.
As the movie heads to its inevitable conclusion, a succession of thugs and assassins are sent to kill Statham: first common street thugs, then another Beekeeper, then a team of Navy Seals, etc. By the end of the film at a Presidential Compound, Statham is opposed by dozens of FBI agents, a phalanx from the Secret Service, and a set of international mercenaries with kooky accents.
Does Statham succeeds? Does Statham ever fail in his movies? If he did how would they ever make a sequel?!?
(Josh Hutcherson costars as the smug yet sniveling ultimate target of Statham’s murderous rampage.)
If you like Jason Statham movies, your like “The Beekeeper”. If you don’t, save you time and money.

“As though the women you date are any better,” she snaps, before turning on her heels and storming into Toby’s office.
Josh doesn’t follow her this time, his head ducked and his shoulders slumped as he trudges back to his office.
